We're here to play a little fact or fiction today after the Colts completed one of the most angst-inducing tie ball games that we've seen in recent memory.
Let's get to it.
You are Locked On Colts, your daily Indianapolis Colts podcast.
Part of the day
this is your daily podcast covering your Indianapolis Colts, part of the Locked On Podcast Network, your team every day.
I'm Jake Arthur, joined as always by Zach Hicks, and you know the pair of us from HorseshoeHuddle.com,
of course. On today's show, we're going to take some of the biggest gripes or rallying cries that
people are discussing after the Colts 2020 tie with the
Houston Texans from Sunday. And we're going to do a little fact or fiction with it. This includes
things about the coaching staff, the kicking game, and some of the offensive skill positions. So
we'll go ahead and just hop right into it. Zach, I know this is one that you are very passionate
about. So one thing I've heard today, and it feels like it's something we hear after every Colts loss,
is, you know, it's always fire Ballard, fire Reich.
But for those not being as spicy as fire Reich, I've heard a lot of people today,
mostly just fans and comment sections, saying Frank Reich needs to give up play calling duties, which, you know, there was the Colts were stopped,
stopped on turnover on downs down there.
Alec Pierce dropped the touchdown.
They are the potential touchdown.
They got in there.
They did the wildcat play with Naheem Hines
and the option to Jonathan Taylor.
So yes, that was too cute for that situation on fourth down. I mean, it was early
ish in the game enough, I guess, but that was probably one of the things people had the biggest
issue with. I haven't, I haven't seen much evidence to people pointing at other things,
to be honest with you. Um, I, I know you're, you're on the side of like, yes, sometimes there's things get overcomplicated more than they need to,
but you are very much in the camp of Frank Reich is,
is a heck of a play caller.
Yeah. I mean, we have a lot of evidence for it. I mean,
the Colts offense has not had the best skill position players.
And that's something we're going to talk about in a later segment on this
show. They've not had, you know, a great wide receiver core throughout his tenure.
I mean, Jonathan Taylor, they never really had that kind of guy running back.
But these offenses have consistently been, you know,
among the top five, top ten in offense.
I mean, last year going into the last, they were, you know,
I think they were top ten in rushing.
I think they were number two in the rushing in the league.
And then they were in the top 15, I think, in passing.
Obviously, that dropped in that last game against the Jaguars, but I don't know. This offense under
Frank Reich has always been steady. It's always been productive. There have been some issues,
but I really don't see the issue always being, oh, it's the play calling, you know, and yes,
there are times, there are moments like that fourth and goal.
I would have liked to have seen maybe a more simplistic run up the middle with your superstar running back.
Or maybe put the ball in the hands of your veteran quarterback you just traded for.
I agree. I think in hindsight it's easy to say that.
I even think before the play it's easy to say something like that.
But I think when you look at the overall scope of this entire game,
the Colts right now have I think the number two overall offense in all of football
in terms of yards I think it's the second most rushing yards in the NFL after one week they have
the second most passing yards I mean they had a very productive day on offense they were moving
the ball at will it's just this team was shooting itself in the foot over and over and over again I mean is it the play caller's fault that Matt Ryan lost a QB center exchange and fumbled it
is it the play caller's fault that a screen pass was picked off because either the right tackle
didn't you know get get enough control of that guy or or the defense man just made a great play
you know is that the play caller's fault on that screenplay uh is the play callers fault for
drop touchdowns for numerous false starts for sacks given up you know i i don't i can't subscribe to
to the notion that the play calling was bad especially this past week i mean this past
weekend again the colts were moving the ball at will with ease i mean it was a great game plan
it's just they could not convert when they got into plus territory.
So I think anyone calling for Frank Wright's head when it comes to play calling is wrong.
I think if you have concerns about him as a head coach and you're having displeasures with him as a head coach, I think that's kind of fair.
Because, again, this is full set numbers now.
We've seen this team, not just court you know not just the new quarterback
and not just the new players but we've seen this entire team kind of come out looking really flat
that's on the head coach you know you can't because it's every single season even though
that was their emphasis all offseason we can't come out flat in week one and what do they do
for three quarters they looked really flat they still were moving the ball at will because the
play calling was good but they looked extremely flat and they didn't look ready to play.
That does reflect poorly on the head coach.
A lot of miscommunications, the false starts and stuff.
As a head coach, that's on you, not the play caller.
On a head coach, you have to clean that stuff up.
So I think anyone after this game,
if you have some concerns with Frank Reich as a head coach, I totally get it.
Frank Reich as a play caller, though though I really don't understand it I get
too cute at times he does absolutely uh there are some issues too with with some of his you know I
hate it when he runs it on second and ten to get to third and six even though he's not in the top
ten in the NFL at doing that it does seem like he should be because he does it quite a bit so
there's some things I'm like you know know, I think he could be better at.
But, I mean, overall, you probably have a top 10 play caller
and play designer in football, one of the better advanced scouts.
And if you're going to have any issues with Frank Reich after this game
or after any of these games, I really think it's more of Frank Reich
as a head coach than Frank Reich as an offensive play caller.
I agree.
And I think the only reason this is such a big stink today is because it was a tie
slash loss slash non-win. You know, if the Colts win, there's probably not, it's probably not as
big of a deal. There are themes, of course, like this was not the first time that they were, they
were too cute on a fourth down. Like sometimes you just need to like look at what your tools are and use it.
Jonathan Taylor behind Quentin Nelson, you know,
you have a bunch of power forwards that you could throw the ball to
even on fades there down near the goal line, you know.
So there are certain things you could probably lean on
and not overcomplicate it.
But, you know, there was a time management thing. You know, they let a little time tick away late in the game before calling a
timeout, stuff like that. As a play caller, I think you're exactly right. Like, I just kind of
go back to, let's say it's a nationally televised game. I feel like after every nationally televised
game, we see all these national nfl
heads and everything say you know frank reich wow that was slick what you just did there this and
that you know he's a he's a really good play caller it's very noticeable to the outside eye
i just think you know when you're a fan and you see it every you know every week you probably get
a little more numb to it but whatever but oh yeah yeah you know i think there's gonna there's
gonna be stuff to point at every game it's just a matter of wins and losses really is what it comes
down to yeah but again you gotta look at it like this i mean for all the gripes that people have
about this receiver core and this tight end group and stuff not having a bunch of weapons i mean
let's let's let's just give that right now. Let's say that these,
these other receivers are not very good right now.
And these tight ends are not very good right now.
So you're telling me that Frank Reich drew up a game plan or call plays to
where an offense put up what 540 yards of offense.
Like, well, if I want you, you know,
the new quarterback in his first game had over 300 yards passing.
Obviously Jonathan Taylor had 151 yards rushing.
I mean, I don't really know how you could fault the play caller for that.
I think he did a great job when it came to calling plays.
Again, just that there were a couple issues,
and I know people like to hype on those couple issues,
but I think in the laundry list of things that went wrong for the Colts
in this past game, Frank Reich's play calling should not be in the top five
or maybe even the top ten.
I have a lot more issues with this game and with everything that went on than Frank Reich.
And honestly, he's not even the coach that I would point at as a big issue in this game.
I think the other two coaches, defense coordinator and special teams coordinator,
I think they have more blame in this loss than the play caller on the other
side of the ball.
So I don't know.
I think calling for Frank Reich as a play caller is just misguided right now.
But I do understand a lot of the issues with Frank Reich as a head coach.
I totally get that.
But play calling Frank Reich is almost unmatched in the league.
I just don't understand it.
Yeah, we've seen it be much worse.
It's one of those things where I, you know,
be careful what you wish for,
because in recent memory, we've seen it be not so hot.
But, you know, some of the stomach-dropping plays
and mistakes from Sunday reminded me
of something I saw the other day, Zach.
I was over at the Brightco website
watching this video of an engagement fail
where a guy's going to propose at a Yankees game,
but he drops the ring and then everyone in this section starts looking for it on the ground for that ring.
Which, by the way, I can't imagine looking for something on the ground of a stadium floor in the bleachers.
That sounds like the grossest thing.
You know, the broadcast caught it and the secondhand embarrassment was just too much.
They eventually found it.
Luckily, luckily. But for instances like that where disaster strikes, Brightco's got your back.
We all hate insurance, right? But these guys at Brightco turn the whole experience around.
So it's probably the easiest thing that you can do for yourself this week. No excuses. It's just
five bucks a month and you get totally comprehensive coverage and it won't take you
more than two minutes on your cell phone.
Check it out.
Bright.co forward slash locked on.
You got to check out that video I was talking about.
Brightco has a bunch of them actually that you can see for yourself at bright.co forward slash locked on.
All right, Zach.
So a lot of people have called for Frank Reich's position as play caller. A lot of people are calling for the Colts to give Rodrigo Blankenship the old stanky boot in general. They want him out of town. And I mean, you said it on yesterday's podcast, you know, you had a great tweet and I hope you remember the details of it. I do. So it was like week 17 of 2020 that he started to melt down.
Yep.
So basically the way that his career has gone is
Rodrigo Blankenship in his rookie season from week 1 through week 16
made 30 of 33 field goals, by the way the Colts are
kicking a lot of field goals I guess in 2020 but 30 of 33 on field goal which was good for 90
that was 90 efficiency since then though so week 17 in the playoff game of 2020 then all of last
year and then now this game this year he has I think it's 16 of 23 and it's good for 69%.
Just that's, that's atrocious. I mean, and I,
and I know there was,
there was an injury with the Ravens game and that was two of the misses right
there. So, you know, you can give them a little bit of a pass for some of them,
but I mean, again, we're talking about such a volatile position.
And I know some of you guys hate when I use that word,
but honestly,
I think the kicker position outside of what I use volatile for last year,
the kicker position is the textbook definition of the word volatile.
Outside of Justin Tucker,
there is nothing that sustains from year to year when it comes to kickers.
One year,
a kicker could be the greatest kicker ever and not miss a kick.
And the next season they'll miss six and be out of the league the year after that.
I mean, kickers, when they start trending downwards,
you have to move on because they typically don't recover with the team that they're currently on.
Now, as someone who grew up as a Washington fan
and was covering Washington football,
I've seen a lot of kickers get cut from them,
and they go to a second place, and they thrive
because it's all about the middle heads of the kickers.
And right now, I really think Rodrigo Blankenship, when it comes to his time with the Colts, is just not going to work out.
I mean, we have just seen this trend after trend.
We've seen him miss a lot of field goals over 45 yards, over 50 yards.
But now it's starting to transition to the shorter field goals.
I mean, a 42-yarder in overtime, that should be a gimme.
I mean, honestly, the Colts literally on that third down play,
Frank Wright told Matt Ryan to, you know, we're going to do a rollout pass.
If the pass is not there, slide down on that right hash so Roderigo Blankenship's
in a place where he wants to kick it from, that right hash.
He likes to kick from the right hash.
They put it where he wanted to kick from, and it was a 42-yarder,
which is kind of a gimme and he missed and and you you know when the nfl i mean seasons can be decided
by this that's the difference between a win and a tie right there uh i just think when you when
you have this game and you have that ravens game which again it's tough to fully point the finger
at him for that to happen and then you have the bills game in 2020 uh that playoff game mean, his missed field goal, and I think he missed an extra point in that game too, cost
the Colts that game. I mean, we've just seen it too much now, and he's never really built up the
reputation that makes you give him the benefit of the doubt. He was an undrafted free agent who had
a good stretch his rookie season. But since then, I mean, we're going on to year three now, or I
guess year two, however you look at it, of him just not being a good kicker whatsoever.
So at this point, he's hurting your team more than helping.
And I really think no matter who it is, you know,
I know you're going to throw out some names here in a minute,
but no matter who it is,
I think you just got to consider bringing someone else in because you can't
go through the whole season with a kicker. Who's making 68, 69,
70% of his kicks. I mean, you're losing points every time he gets out there ah yeah absolutely and to provide some more context
as to why you know like this was you know a missed kick in a game why is everyone so fired up like
Zach said this is a trend for him and it's it's a problem they're losing games you know even Adam
Vinatieri it was time to move on in 2019, I think it was.
He just wasn't the same.
I think he was probably hurt, but he was missing kicks.
And, you know, we've seen this coming all summer through training camp.
Rodrigo Blankenship won the kicking competition in part because Jake Verde
absolutely melted down the second he made a bad play.
Like, his whole performance went out the window.
Kickers, man, is what they do.
It's what they do.
It's such a fragile thing.
But like Blankenship's never been a slam dunk for this team.
As a rookie, he had to beat out Chase McLaughlin.
Us in the media, we kind of thought McLaughlin had looked better.
But the team was like, no, we like how it leaves blanket ships.
But we're like, that's weird. Whatever. Yeah.
He goes in. Yeah. I forget.
He was in a kicking competition last summer as well.
I forget who it was against. I can't remember the guy's name,
but he had come from the bears or something. That guy looked pretty decent.
I don't even think he had missed a kick.
That one was pretty even as well.
And then, of course, he gets hurt.
It wasn't Cairo Santos, but it was –
No, he was a young kid.
He was a young kid.
I remember he got picked up by, I think, the –
he was the Colts practice squad for like a day and got picked up.
I know you're talking about it.
If you guys know, put it in the comments.
Put it in the comments of the YouTube video.nt brent do it yeah yeah but then so
he gets hurt midway through against the ravens they bring in michael badgley and even after
blankenship is healthy enough to return they keep badgley out there because he's got the momentum
they're not going to mess with it enter Enter this summer, kicking competition again. Him and Verity are neck and neck, but again, once Verity messed up,
it all went out the window. So today, Frank was asked about it, and he declined to kind of throw
his support blank and chips away like he did after the game, and he was basically like,
I'm going to have a conversation with Chris Ballard at 545.
I'm sure it's a regular roster postgame type thing.
They probably do every week.
But that was, I'm sure, going to be a big point of emphasis in it. So who knows if they make the move yet,
but I would be very surprised if they don't bring in a group of guys to try out.
And it's honestly not compared to Blankenship.
It's really not a great
batch. Like you have Badgley who probably is the only easy decision you can make of it because
you've, you've had him before. He's been in your building actually twice. But outside of that,
the only guys with notoriety who have kicked before is like Brett Marr and Elliot Frye, and neither of them are really good options. Frye has
a very small sample size and Marr has been very, very inconsistent. So what do you do?
Yeah, no, it's true. You can't move on without an insurance policy, but I think at some point
you just got to shake it up for the sake of shaking
it up and seeing if someone's going to give you a better shot at it. Because at the end of the day,
like you said, you're losing games because of this. Yes, there were other opportunities
they could have made to do it. But at the end of the day, you cannot get past the fact that
you're sitting there at 42 yards, a super make makeable kick from a spot on the field.
You like you,
you make it in the game is over and you miss.
And that was after two kickoffs out of bounds that cost your team a
combined 30 yards and gave the opponent much better field position for
themselves to win the game.
They just didn't capitalize on it.
And the Colts defense stepped up.
So he got bailed out like three times.
Well,
two, cause they, they couldn't really bail him out of the miss
because there wasn't an opportunity again.
But, yeah, it's a tough one.
Yeah.
I mean, the only thing I got left to say is how bad on kickoffs
does Matt Hawk have to be?
I mean, he has to be just –
do we think he even gets it past like the 20?
There has to be like a reason why he's not getting it.
He has to have the worst leg ever on this job.
I'm pretty sure he kicked off for Miami and Buffalo, though.
Was it that bad?
I don't think he did for Buffalo because they have Tyler Bass.
Tyler Bass can just do it.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, he's got a leg.
Yeah, I don't know.
I just find it funny that when Reich was asked, like, oh, do you keep blanks?
And they're like, oh, no, we don't know.
But then they're like, do you keep them on kickoffs?
He's like, yes, we do.
It's like, what?
How atrocious does Matt Hawk have to be on kickoffs to where the guy who boots it out twice in a row,
twice in a row in a tie game, and you still are going to roll with him on the kickoffs?
I don't know.
But, yeah, I really do think the colts need to make a change uh if they don't i mean i really just hope he bounces back
from this because man again when kickers lose confidence like i know any position in the nfl
when you lose confidence it spells bad news but when you're in confidence i mean everything is
mental with kickers everyone has the ability with kickers. It's all mental.
So I don't know, guys.
I really don't know.
But, hey, if you guys said greater than one kick out of bounds for the Colts this past weekend,
you guys could have made a lot of money. You nailed it.
I don't know if that's something that PrizePix was offering.
But something they did offer was if you said greater than Jonathan Taylor is a mark of 100-point rushing yards on Sunday,
then you might be sitting back pretty happily today,
as long as you don't care about the whole Colts winning or losing thing,
which, again, kickers are at fault.

It's time we got together to tell you guys about our friends at Homefield.
You've probably heard us talk all about them by now, and you've seen that we're wearing them almost every day.
Mine's still in the wash.
I had to get some stains out of it. So I'm not wearing it tonight, but I'm sure the rest of the week I will
be wearing it, guys. I promise.
Homefield is an apparel company that
recently teamed up with the Indianapolis Colts for a
six-item collection. A hoodie, a crew
neck, two t-shirts, joggers,
and a jacket. It's for a few
weeks now, so I'm sure you guys will definitely want to
check that out. Homefield is based out of
Indy, and it was a natural choice for the Colts to want to
partner with them for this new campaign. New customers can get 15% off their purchase with
Home Field with code LOCKEDONCOLTS at checkout at homefieldapparel.com.
All right, Jake, let's talk about this last big topic, because honestly, I think
this is going to be another one where I, you know, the first segment I kind of was
against fans. Second segment, I'm all for what the fans were saying.
This one I'm going to push back again.
I do.
We think the Colts need to add a veteran receiver.
Now I have my opinion, but Jake,
what do you think after watching this past game?
I really don't, man.
Like there.
Yes.
They had what?
300.
What was it?
360 yards passing or something
or 350 yards yeah they had a lot i mean if you look at it it's not that bad it's the mistakes
that jump out to you of course like right ashton ashton doolan had the drop touchdown but it wasn't
as bad and you caught it on twitter it was a good one as he he was securing it, that safety made a terrific play.
Now, one that I will fault Doolin for was he really could have come down
with that deep shot down the seam.
Yes.
He could have done that.
Yes.
I think Ryan could have put that a little bit closer to the middle of the
field and given doing a little bit easier.
But, yeah, that's one where you would like to see him make that catch.
But let's talk about that touchdown drop real quick.
I have a lot of conversations.
We're only going to do this briefly because we have other things to talk about in this segment but
that was one heck of a play by that safety and yeah it was it was horrible timing for the colts
i mean dueling goes up and snags it he thinks he's kind of alone he starts to put it away as he's
looking to get his feet in bounds and as he starts to put that ball away the hand comes in and punches
it out and the phenomenal play and i think if that hand punches it any other time, Doolin makes the catch.
It's just that split second where as the ball was getting put in the bread basket, it was punched out.
But it was a phenomenal play by the safety.
And for anyone thinking that, oh, Doolin should have caught that, that should go down as a drop,
if that were a Colt safety making that play,
we would all be talking about what a phenomenal pass breakup it was and how great.
So I'm telling you that was one heck of a play by that safety and i've been putting it in my notes
as a catchable pass that was not caught not as a drop catchable pass that was not caught is the
way that i put it down to go with the point i do think there was a mistake obviously you know
alec pierce should have caught that touchdown i'm not going to make any excuses for that one
kind of branson had a couple drops that we're just talking pass catchers in total.
Paris Campbell didn't really do too much in this one outside of
the third down catch, I think, in overtime. So I do think there
is reason some are concerned about pass catchers.
But I said this on Twitter, too. I don't
think the Colts' pass catchers are in my top like five worries after
this game.
I'm much more concerned about the offensive tackles,
much more concerned about the lack of pass rush until the fourth quarter,
much more concerned about the linebackers and pass coverage concerned about
all the special teams mistakes.
I just,
I don't know.
I come out of this game being like Michael Pittman jr.
Was awesome.
Heinz and Taylor had a lot of nice catches. I just, I don't know. I come out of this game being like, Michael Pittman Jr. was awesome.
Hines and Taylor had a lot of nice catches.
Strawn had a couple of nice plays.
Paris Campbell, again, made a couple of plays.
Ashton Doolin made a couple of catches.
Like, I don't really think it was that bad.
I don't know. I don't really think they need to panic
and bring in a vet right now.
I have other issues right now with the team
that make me kind of overlook the wide receivers
because i really
don't think they were that big of an issue yeah i agree now if they didn't have someone like pitman
i do think it would be an issue but they do have a guy like that so they still have time for these
guys to to gel man like i'm not worried about pierce like honestly like you wouldn't know it
because he's he's having some rookie growing pains this summer.
But he's actually really sure-handed.
Like we've talked about confidence.
Like he can be pretty sure-handed.
Again, confidence thing, I think he'll be fine.
Get some catches under his belt.
Get him some gimmies, you know, some slants, whatever.
He'll be fine.
I'm not worried about him.
He's especially good attacking.
Michael Pittman Jr.'s rookie season, he had that disastrous game against the Titans in week 10
where he had four drops in one game. It happens.
Michael Pittman Jr. has probably not dropped that many passes since, but he had
four drops in one game against the Titans as a rookie. The drops happen
and he just got over-anxious when he saw the ball come in. He jumped when he shouldn't have.
It was just something that you don't want to see an NFL player do, but it happens.
Mistakes happen.
He'll grow from it.
I'm really not that worried about him.
Honestly, I would like to see Mike Strone and Paris Campbell a little more involved, though,
because for my money, I think Paris Campbell is very sure-handed.
You don't see a lot of drops from him, it's in practice or what he always seems to come down
with the ball he could fight for a little better uh in contested catch situations but i would like
to see him involved more because we also know what he could do after the catch and mike strong you
know it's it's one of those things where we're probably, it's almost like a preseason hype thing where we're like,
he's got to get the ball more, yeah, yeah, yeah.
But, I mean, it's the regular season.
He's out there now, and he caught both targets, both first downs,
18-yard average.
So, I mean, why not get him more involved?
If the guys ahead of him aren't capitalizing and making big plays,
I mean, there's room there for him to carve out a role.
But, yeah, in general, I'm not worried about it.
Just to entertain the thought, though, there are some guys out there,
not great options.
It's better than the kicker situation, but obviously T.Y. Hilton,
Will Fuller, Cole Beasley, which I don't know, like the COVID situation,
I'm sure they'd stay far away from that.
OBJ, of course, if you're looking for midseason.
Adam Humphreys isn't a bad name.
And then you and I both pointed out Emmanuel Sanders leading into the season,
but he has since retired.
So not great options.
There's options, but not great.
You wouldn't look at any of these options and be like, yes,
the potential for them to be better than Alec Pierce, Ashton Dool, and Mike Strawn.
That's not the case.
They are just guys who will be able to get you some catches in crucial situations, maybe.
Yeah, there's this weird misconception, I think, out that T.Y. Hilton fixes everything.
No, he does not.
Let's not forget about his availability. Yeah, T.Y. Hilton missed everything? No, he does not. Let's not forget about his availability.
Yeah, T.Y. Hilton missed a lot of games
the last two seasons, and when he's played,
he's been fine, but he hasn't
looked like T.Y. Hilton.
He's looked like
a smaller, savvy veteran receiver,
which, sure, the Colts could use that.
I'm not saying that it would be awful
to add him, but to think that
he would step in all
of a sudden all the issues oh everyone's getting open now you know i i don't think that's that's
the case and i just don't i don't think he's that much of an upgrade over what the cults are rolling
out especially again this past weekend i think someone posted uh the the epa per play and stuck
out of all those patches uh the only ones that were in the negative were alec pierce again because
the drop and and kyle and grantson because i think he had one drop and one that was a little high over the middle which I don't think
he could have caught but they might have put that as a drop as well I'm not too sure but
those are the only two Colts pass catchers that had negative EPA per play I mean Michael Pittman
Jr. was sky high Naim Hines was sky high uh Jonathan Taylor was pretty high like I really
think these pass catchers were fine. You know, if,
if again, if Doolin doesn't get the ball punched out of that crazy bad timing, you know, he got a touchdown catch in there and you know, it's just everything went bad and went unlucky for this
Colts team and they made some mistakes, but honestly I was, I did not come away thinking,
oh my gosh, these receivers can't get open. You know, the, again, Matt Ryan was picking apart
the Texans defense for most of the game.
So I'm not too concerned about the pass catchers at this moment,
but it is still something to keep an eye on going forward.
Yeah, same.
I mean, if it's still happening in a few weeks or whatever,
they're probably going to need to entertain the idea.
But I really just want to see these young guys gel and get better.
Like, this was their first game.
I mean, Pierce, of course course you know strong it almost is but let's let this offense get a little more
you know let's let them get rolling because i mean it took them it took them a while to get
super productive i mean there were a lot of mistakes involved as well but shoot right right
hey if them not getting rolling yet is over 500
yards and over 300 would have 350 through the air you know i'm feeling pretty good right now so
that's pretty nice this defense isn't amazing but they're a competitive group and then the
colts were going up and down the field with ease on them so again i'm not too concerned right now
yeah maybe i'm just being gullible but i i think they're going to be all right. I think they'll get better.
But we're going to get better too, guys.
