Indianapolis Colts head coach Shane Steigant had a lot to say ahead of day one of rookie minicamp.
Let's get to it.
You are Locked on Colts, your daily Indianapolis Colts podcast.
Part of the Locked On Podcast Network, your team every day.
Welcome to Locked on Colts.
I'm Zach Hicks.
That's Jake Arthur.
And today's episode is brought to you by GameTime.

purchase. On today's show, we've an action-packed conversation coming your way.
We're going to talk about some of the Colts undrafted free agents. They announced all 12 of them
finally. So we're going to be able to talk about all of them. We've talked about a few of the big
names, but a few unexpected names also leaked in there. So we'll try to get through at least every
single name on the list here as Jake was at rookie minicamp day one today. We're going to talk about
potential breakout players. You know, Alec Pierce was a massive breakout player for the Colts last
year we're going to try to identify the next Alec Pierce or at least like the next at a Tommy
or at a baller, kind of like that type of player, sure, for the Colts of this next season.
But to kick it off, Colts head coach Shane Steichen had a few things to say to the Colts media
members that were in attendance. And of course, Jake Arthur was one of those members in attendance
today. So Jake, you have the floor here. What were a couple of your big takeaways from what
Shane Stuyken had to say today? Yeah, since the last time we talked to Shane,
Anthony Richardson has reported for duty, of course.
He spent the first week or two away from the team just working out in Jacksonville while they all reported into town for the beginning of offseason workouts and everything.
So he's here.
He is cleared to play football.
So whether or not there are still questions about the vision and its entirety 100%, whatever, he's been cleared to play football.
So, like, that is what it is.
The Colts have to get to some sort of comfort level if he is still on the team.
Obviously, he's still on the trade block.
But they said, he came in in really good shape and he's looked good so far.
I know the team is excited to have him back around.
Like, whether or not he is a good option to be the Colts quarterback is irrelevant
because he is very well liked in the building.
So at least for morale, he's got that going for him.
and he's going to get reps, you know, out there once 11 on 11 start and everything,
just like Riley Leonard will.
Everyone's kind of noncommittal on whether he is going to be competing for RB2 or not
with Riley Leonard.
You said RB2.
We're not moving him to running back.
He's a quarterback still.
Don't worry, guys.
A lot of people always suggest that.
I'm like, what are you going to, like, expose him to more contact?
It doesn't seem like a great idea.
Right.
But no, competing with Riley Leonard for QB2.
behind Daniel Jones. They're kind of non-committal on that. We'll see how it goes.
We probably won't be able to tell that until training camp, but, you know, it is what it is.
And of course, Daniel Jones, everyone seems pretty optimistic on him. I, just from context clues,
and this is my own, this is me prognosticating here, I feel like we're going to see Jones
on the practice field sooner rather than later. Like, if he's already dropping back and passing and he's
cleared this. I think it's like a the three month hurdle after the Achilles surgery where like the
the risk for re-injuring falls drastically. He's already cleared that. He's several months beyond that now.
I mean, he we're probably going to see him sooner rather than later. You know what I mean? Now,
whether he gets into game shape, whatever, we'll, that remains to be seen. But as far as you're
starting quarterback being in there and taking practice reps, like I would imagine as as long as
there's not a great risk of re-injury, you would want to get him out there soon.
Yeah, no, for sure.
And for anyone who's maybe even living under a rock or is new to Colts fandom or just NFL
fandom in general, Colts starting quarterback Daniel Jones is dealing with an Achilles injury.
We'll wait to see how long until he is actually cleared to play for the Colts this offseason,
whether it's late August, early September, whatever it's going to be.
And until then, it's up to Riley Leonard and or Anthony Richardson to get those first team reps
in training camp. I know you kind of mentioned it, but just to get it on record, I guess,
and we'll see if Shane, I don't think Shane said it on record, but just to ask you,
did he, he didn't say anything about the first team reps for Richardson, right? It was just like,
he's going to get some reps. Is that kind of the way he phrased it? Right. Yeah, that, you know,
between him and Jim Bob Cooter and everyone, they're, they're not getting into specifics about
that. He said, Anthony will get reps, you know, just like Riley will get reps and everything.
They don't, they don't, they don't want to really commit to anything right now. Yeah. You should,
should have brought up Henigan getting reps to and see if that would have been different,
just to see what fits all the way down the line there.
Moving off the quarterback position, though, actually, no, you had one more thing here on the
quarterback position.
Riley Leonard, was there any other talk about Riley Leonard in the offense in general,
or how did that conversation go about him?
Yeah.
Shane was just asked basically, like, what kind of jumps do you want to see from Riley going
from year one to year two?
And he really wants to see Riley just kind of take command and an ownership of the
offense learning all the ends and outs the intricacies of it all which kind of trumpets what
riley told us the other like a couple weeks ago he wants to know like the why of the offense you
know there's knowing all of you know the about the offense but why you're doing what you're
doing and why you're reacting certain ways to certain defenses and coverages that's what he wants
to really know um so obviously playing quarterback is it's more cerebral than it is
physical a lot of the times, you know what I mean? So it sounds like Riley really wants to get
the mental aspects of the position really down pat as much as he can. Yeah, no, that'll be good
for him. I think he did show a lot in his rookie season, but the jump from year one to year two as a
rookie quarterback clearly want to see a little bit more command over the offense would be a big
thing for him, especially when, I mean, you and I are expecting him to be that backup quarterback
this season. That would be a big jump for him to take. Getting to rookie minicamp news and notes and just
talking about players that were there at camp.
Dionne Burks, you have in here,
was not at the team drills. Did they announce any kind of injury with that?
Or just precautionary, probably.
We just noticed that he didn't seem to really be out there during 11 on 11s.
Like he was in uniform and all that.
He just didn't appear to take part in that.
Shane, again, not really, he was kind of non-committal on it.
He said, yeah, he was just dealing with something there, which,
what does that mean? We don't know.
But, I mean, he was in uniform.
So it's obviously nothing too.
serious. Hopefully not too serious.
You know, with Shane, it could be anything from, he has to retire from the sport or he's
going to be out for a day. So we'll see.
Can't read him very well.
Right. You also got some notes here on Carson Tout, the next long term tight end prospect.
I think before we get into your notes here, though, was he out there for minicamp today?
Does he count?
He was as a rookie. Okay, he counts.
Yeah. I know he's a little bit older and he was like not an undrafted free agent signing
technically, right? He was like a true free agent for the Colts, but you can have some players
that are a little bit older there at camp as well.
So cool to see Carson Tout out there.
He looked like a natural, I guess, in football pads.
No, I mean, he was out there in team drills and stuff.
I think he might have even caught something.
But no, I mean, he's very much in his infancy, having no football background.
And I actually, I asked Shane, because I don't think we've asked him about this yet.
I was like, when you get a guy like this, who's a basketball player who has zero football
baseline, you guys are, it's professionals out here.
So, like, how do you approach the development plan for a guy like that?
And he credited Tom Manning with Moe Alley Cox's development because I believe when Moe was a rookie or very, very early into his career, Tom Manning was his tight end coach and really got him up to speed and built him into a usable NFL tied in.
Not only that, but a guy in Mo who's now got what, like three extensions from the Colts?
Like, he's made some serious money.
He's got a ton of starts under his bow.
belt. So the Colts could do a whole lot worse than having Tom Manning being in charge of developing
this guy. I mean, is he still probably a year or two project? I would imagine so. But they seem to
have the right guy for the job there. Yeah, for sure. No, I think Tom Manning came in in 2018.
Moe was signed in 2017 as an undrafted free agent, but marinated on the practice squad and then
made his first couple snaps on the team in 2018 and then became a roster regular by 2019. So
Tom Manning was there for the pivotal year.
years of Moeley Cox. He is now entering, I think, year nine with the Colts here in
2026. So a lot of, a lot of good moments from Moly Cox over the years for sure.
Any other news and notes before we transition to breakout players and the next Alex Pierce here
on today's show, Jake? Yeah, I mean, just one of the main themes and kind of missions for
Shane Steichen right now is just team building, making sure they have as tight-knit of a group as
possible. Obviously, when you look at the most successful teams, really in all of sports,
they're usually very tight-knit and, you know, they have each other's backs.
And you want to kind of take times like this to do as much as you can to kind of build those bonds
because by the time you get the season and everything, you just don't have time for that.
So they will go off-site and do almost like field trips.
You know what I mean?
I know they've at least a couple times gone over to Hinkle Fieldhouse at Butler and played basketball there a bit.
Like they do just kind of fun stuff around the community like that together to just
get out of the building and not be doing football stuff necessarily,
but just get to know each other, build bonds, stuff like that.
Yeah, Moe-Lic Cox and Carson Tout are the team captains of those basketball games.
They won't two of a Moloa was very good at basketball, though.
Okay, okay.
Don't sleep on a little bit of a low-out.
I know.
I did an article years back for St.P. Blue where I was like, here's the all-cultz basketball
team, like Quentin Nelson was a pretty good basketball player in high school as well.
Back in the day, I mean, Malik Hooker and Kari Willis were both really good in high school.
I have to do a deep dive on who the best basketball players are.
besides Mo and Tout to see what the teams really look like there.
To them a low out, I guess we'll have to check that one out there.
But coming up, guys, Jake and our grand transition from Shane Steikin's coach speak
and talk about potential breakout players for the team this next season,
a lot like Alec Pierce or even like minor breakouts like Atatomu, Atabore.
We're going to see if we can identify them early,
and that way we can clip them after the season if we got any of these right.
Well, first, support for today's episode comes from Square,
The system that helps fix one of the biggest headaches in running a business.
Starting a business is exciting, but actually running it, that's where things get complicated
pretty fast.
Payments, inventory, staff, scheduling online orders, it's a lot to manage.
That's why Square brings everything together into one connected system.
Square helps you take payments, track sales, manage inventory, and keep your business running
smoothly without juggling a bunch of disconnected tools.
One thing I've noticed in some of my favorite local spots is how seamless everything feels
when they use Square. Check out is quick. Receipts are easy, and the whole experience just feels much more organized.
There's a local egg roll place that Jake and his wife actually take a lot of people out there in Indy that use the Square, and it makes everything simple.
From fast payments to loyalty and rewards, I know Jake's going to take me out there next time. I am in town for training camp.
So plus, this takes every vendor at local farmers markets as well. As a customer, that is awesome.
I have Square on all the local farmer's markets around me. My wife are going to a farmer's market tomorrow.
So Square just makes everything super easy.
And from the business side, you can tell it helps owners stay focused on serving people instead of constantly troubleshooting all these different systems.
So if you're starting a business or running one that deserves better tools, Square helps you sell, manage, and grow without slowing down.
Right now, you can get up to $200 off square hardware at square.com slash go slash locked on NFL.

com.
All right, Jake,
so I pose this question to you.
And I think it's,
it's topical just because we're in the off season.
It's a time to talk about these things and make predictions.
for the upcoming year.
But I think a player like Alec Pierce, right,
going into a contract year last year,
really took that next step.
He went from, okay, look,
20-4 was really good.
2025 he emerged as like a top 20 receiver in the league
and a true wide receiver won.
So we're trying to see which players on the Colts
can make that big jump.
And for me, I'll just start off real quick.
I keep looking at Josh Downs, right?
Maybe not to make that same type of jump
because how many thousand yard receivers
are you really going to have
in an offense that's not going to throw the ball for like 5,000 yards.
But I think just being more consistent, having his best career season,
he's going into a contract year.
He's going to have a bigger role in responsibility for the team this next season.
I wouldn't be shocked if he hits career highs across the board.
The Colts really find a way to get him involved.
I know they were frustrated last year with the ebbs and flows of his game
and how they weren't able to consistently get him involved in the offense.
Now when you have to replace a lot of those Michael Pittman Jr.
your targets, you have to get more ways to get him involved in the offense, I think we could see
a career year from Josh Downs if he stays healthy. Yeah, I completely agree. I think when it comes
to the Colts, you know, we keep asking them about, you know, filling the Michael Pitman Jr.
void, you know, that's like 130 targets right there. Rather than like all the other guys who
would be newer to the rotation to introduce, I very much think the Colts see this as a, well, I mean,
Alec Pierce, Tyler Warren, and Josh Downs are going to eat up the vast majority of those extra targets.
So those three guys are all going to get boosted up.
You know, Alec Pierce, they obviously have to get him the ball more because of his price tag.
But you want to get Alec Pierce, Tyler Warren, Josh Downs, the ball more often, obviously.
So I think that just naturally is going to make those guys all stand out way more,
especially with Daniel Jones.
Like Daniel Jones is going to spread the ball around, but he's really,
I think to get this offense to move when you don't have that like I do think the receiving
core has probably taken a little bit of a step back obviously without Michael Pittman Jr.
But I think he's really going to lean on those three guys in the passing game.
And especially with downs, if you have one guy in your past catching group who's like,
go go beat your man in man coverage and get open, it's probably him.
You know, he's a very close, he's got that close quarters quickness.
he's going to be open a whole lot more.
I just think they're not even going to have to manufacture ways to get him the ball.
I just think he's going to be able to be a more natural part of the offense.
You don't have to force targets elsewhere to guys like Pittman.
And, you know, they were hardly even doing it with Pierce until, you know, later,
which has been kind of a problem throughout his career.
But I think with Downs, it's just going to come very naturally.
A good slot receiver seems to be very in pocket with how,
Daniel Jones should be able to succeed as a passer.
Yeah.
And when you think of the body types and general archetypes of the past catchers that the
Colts have, the three-headed monster they have, it is similar to when Shane Stuyck and was
in Philly when they had A.J. Brown, Devante Smith, and Dallas Goddard, right?
Those are their three options.
And again, Pierce is very different from Brown and Devante Smith's very different from downs.
But in terms of the body types and how they're going to be used, I think you can see a lot of
the similarities there.
But I think the other really easy answer here, Jake, and probably just a little bit too much
about layup is layout too lot to going into his third season.
Top 15 pick a couple years ago.
He got better from year one to year two.
Now can that next jump happen where he goes from, you know, last year he was probably
like a league average edge one, right?
Like a very adequate edge one, eight and a half sacks, had the interceptions, had a couple
force fumbles.
Like he did make some plays, but can he be that 10 plus?
that guy. The Colts seem very optimistic that he can be that guy. And I think a breakout could
certainly be in the cards for him. Yeah, I think when you're looking at an Alec Pierce style breakout for
a veteran who's been a starter, but just looking to take that next big leap to being like a star,
I think Latsu is a very obvious answer. I know the Colts feel his margin from being like the
eight and a half sat guy that he was to being a dozen sack guy was razor thin. He has so many
close calls. And I really think if the Colts man coverage corners can actually just stay healthy and buy them a little extra time, the pass rushers buy them a little extra time, you're going to see a guy like put up better numbers. Because how many times did he hit a path right there out of range? You get that extra half a second or so in coverage and suddenly those are becoming hits more often. They're becoming sacks more often. So,
A guy like Latu, just if he got stronger over the offseason, which has been a goal over the first couple off seasons for him, if he got stronger, you know, he's always working hard.
He's always studying just the natural progression in his game, you know, a pass rusher going into year three.
That's usually a decent size jump that they take.
I think it's logical to expect him to finally eclipse that 10-sac plateau this year.
Yeah, no, for sure.
I completely agree there.
I'm, again, probably a little more skeptical than the Colts are that he's going to hit that,
but I see the avenue for it to happen.
And like you said, he just gets stronger and he learns to win more with power.
I think he can certainly get there.
So that'll be the big test for him this season.
A couple other players that I had written down and then you can go through, you know,
your short list of other guys too.
The two young defensive tackles, Atatamua, Atabore, taking another step.
Kobe wouldn't taking another step.
I think both have shown a lot throughout their rookie contracts,
but it's now or never for both them to emerge as like starting caliber of players,
especially with this probably being to Force Buckner's last season with the Colts.
So let's see if they can emerge.
And I think both those guys have the tools and the ingredients.
And then another kind of layup one here, but Jalen Travis at right tackle.
I think that year one to year two jump is just so vital for offensive tackles,
you know, showing what you need to do in the off season to get stronger, get better,
and Travis does probably get like a little bit looser and maybe lose a little bit of weight so you can move a little bit better,
even though he already moves pretty well.
But I think Travis has all the ingredients to be a really good player.
So making that year two jump with him likely starting,
I think is going to be really big for him.
But did you have a short list of guys you wanted to throw out there as well?
Yeah, I think Travis is pretty logical.
He has very little competition for that right tackle spot.
So I think just him naturally being like his offseason now versus what it looked like last year,
so much different.
So he gets to concentrate, number one, a year of two,
Tudelage under Tony Spirano, Jr. That's great. But then he gets the whole offseason to prepare to be the Colts Rite tackle. I think we should expect pretty good things from him. Tommy's a good one going into a contract year. Those guys always seem to play their best. Justin Wally, you could probably, you know, disqualify him because he's kind of a rookie. I mean, we only have a training camp's worth of last year to really look at him. Kim Davis Gather. I think that's a good one for me.
me because we've talked about Betcher competing to be, you know, the other will, perhaps,
but I really don't know that the Colts want two rookies starting at linebacker, maybe down
the line.
I mean, maybe next year or even later this year, Betcher becomes a starter at will.
But I think it makes a lot of sense to have Davis Gaither being, you know, lining up next to
C.J. Allen, just you're already putting a lot on Allen's plate.
So having a veteran next to him certainly would help.
to me when I was reading behind the line between the lines when lou and arummo spoke the other day
i certainly felt like they intend to have davis gaiter out there alongside cj allen they they
everyone does seem to really like betcher but it's more of a unless he blows our socks off like
he'll have his time type of thing uh so ikeem davis gaiter that that could be a good one i mean
he already got his first year of starting full starting experience last year in arizona but now he
gets to come back with Lou. So we could see him take another step forward. Yeah, no, I like that one a lot. I
liked a lot of his film. That's why I made such a long video on him on my personal channel when the Colt signed him for a guy who only made like two million dollars on his next season. One more guy,
I just want to sneak in real quick. Matt Gonzalez is kind of sliding under the radar a little bit after the year he had last year where it wasn't like a great year by any means, but his first year ever playing guard like professionally or even above the college level.
And I thought he was a pretty good pass blocker.
I think there were some things to work on in the run game that could be a little bit better.
But making that jump from year one to year two at this new position,
I think we could see a really big season from him, like Will Fries when he started to make his jumps in year three and year four of his rookie contracts.
So I wouldn't sleep on Gonsalves this offseason.
I know there's a lot of excitement about Jalen Farmer, but I think Consolvis was pretty good last season.
So we'll see if any of these guys can break out and we can look like geniuses going into 2027.
but getting back to 2026, rookie minicamp is taking place.
Colts finally announced their 12 undrafted free agents.
Jake and I have talked about a lot of these guys already,
but let's just do one more wrap up of all these guys
and talk about their chances of making the 2026 roster.
But first, we can stream anything.
Order food and minutes, do everything from our phones
and somehow buying tickets to live events
still feels way harder than it should be.
Long lines, confusing checkouts, prices jumping up the last second.
It shouldn't be that complicated.
That's why there's game time.
It gives fans the advantage and makes getting tickets fast and simple.
I was just looking at tickets for an upcoming game, and it took me minutes to get great options.
I could see the full price up front, no surprise fees at checkout.
The seat views are huge, and you can check the exact view before you buy.
And the zone deals, man, is where you pick the section and save even more.
Two taps, and you have great seats locked in.
It's quick, it's easy, and it actually makes you want to go to more events.

Already locked on Colts, everydayers.
We are back talking all about the Colts undrafted free agent class
with Rookie Mani Camp kicking off.
A lot of these guys were in action today.
Jay got to see them move around a little bit, I guess, out there.
I know it's a pretty limited practice with limited view.
But to go through the list of names, the official 12-man list of names,
we'll see if any of these mini-camp guys get signed in the next couple of days as well.
But as of right now, the list of names are defensive tackle Cam Ball,
safety, Austin Brown, linebacker West Weeks,
offensive tackle Nolan Rucci, defensive end Mitchell Melton,
center, Gino Vandermark, not Vanderbeek, Vander Mark,
running back Jordan Vaughn, wide receiver Samir Hagan's,
wide receiver Raylan Sharp, linebacker Tosh Chambers, running back Lincoln Pair, par.
I think it's PAR is how you say his last name.
And then wide receiver E.J. Horton Jr. So a couple of receivers in here, a couple trench players, Jake.
We've talked about the top four names on this list quite a bit. Cam Ball, Austin Brown,
West Weeks, Nolan Rootie. We've spent a lot of time with those guys. But before we get into
some of the lesser known names, Jake, which of those four guys do you think has the best chance
to make the opening day roster? I know I told you mine before we recorded, but
who do you have is the best shot out of those four guys?
Yeah, so I actually ranked this list based on guys who I thought had the best chance.
So Cam Ball, he's not got a lot of guys to defeat.
He's got Derek Naughty, Tim Smith, and you could probably throw Jerry Tilleri in there.
Nottie and Tilleri are on vet minimum deals.
And Tim Smith was a sixth round pick last year who spent his rookie year on the practice squad.
So, like, I think Cam Ball, you know, he's,
He's big.
He's over 300 pounds.
Good foot quickness, good hands, pretty good strength.
So I think if he shows out, like backup one tech should be a pretty open competition.
I think Campbell's got a pretty good shot.
Yeah, I like Campbell.
I mean, he's my favorite of these players.
He's probably the highest ranked player I would have had on this list.
Him and Nolan Rucci would have been my highest ranked players.
I think if you're following the money, you would say Austin Brown, right, because he got the biggest guarantee.
but I like Wes Weeks shot at making this team just because linebacker depth chart is a mess right now behind those top three guys.
Like outside of those top three guys, if they cut everybody else in the room, I would understand it, right?
I'm sorry to say that about Devin Verisuke Jake, but if they cut everybody else in that room, I would understand it.
So I think a guy like Wes Weeks who played at a major program last year wasn't like a bad player by any means,
has a lot of the traits for special teams type role.
I think he could certainly earn a shot on this roster.
One more guy I really want to mention, though, of this group because I thought it was really funny.
If you look at the defensive ends, Jake, that had the five most snaps at Ohio State in 2024,
the Colts have three of them on this roster, right, with these undrafted free.
And so Jaylon 2Malo out, right, was a draft pick last year for the Colts.
Caden Curry, draft pick this year.
And then Mitchell Melton, who spent this past season at UVA.
But in 2024, was at Ohio State as their, I think he was their fifth most snap getting edge rusher at that team.
So the Colts are investing in the championship Ohio State program.
Mitchell Melton is one of three Ohio State defensive ends to be on this team.
Yeah, I am late to the Mitchell Melton fan club.
But like last night at like 1030 or whatever it was that they announced the UDFAs.
I already had 10 of the 12 written up.
And Melton was one of the ones I didn't know.
know what's coming. So I quickly looked into him last night and I was like, oh man, this might
be a thing. Now, is there a room on the step chart for another edge? Probably not. But if he
could make their practice squad, like this is pretty promising. Spent a ton of time at Ohio
State, but had two years in a row where he was injured, but has been healthy in the two years
since then. Transfer from Ohio State over to Virginia and got back to being a productive
player and I was like this guy might have a little juice as a pass rusher i like this move a lot
melton might be my favorite edition um ruichi just by competing for the swing tackle spot i like
that one a bit um Austin brown I think I mean they gave him a lot of money but I see special
teamer there and they need to replace rodney thomas as a key special teamer that might be that
might be what they're doing there. If he can make it, I will tell you, he looked great, like,
just passing the eye test out there on the field at rookie mini camp. I was like, this dude is like
long in the lean, but like kind of still built out a bit. And he made a couple like nice catches
during positional drills. I was like, I don't like what I'm seeing here. He just has like very few instincts
on defense, but special teams he might be fine. Yeah, no, for sure. Did you have any other these undrafted
free agents that the Colts officially signed?
or since again, you were at minicamp today,
did any guys at minicamp stand out to you?
I know it's limited view,
so I don't want to hold it to you,
but any other news and notes with undrafted free agents
that you want to make note of here?
Not really.
I wish there was.
I mean, it's comical how big Jordan Vaughn is
compared to all the other running backs,
because all the other running backs are undersized,
and he's jumbo-sized.
So it's just like such a ridiculous difference in the size.
is other than Seth McGowan is a big guy too, but like Vaughn is like 6'3, 235 pounds.
It's like it's crazy.
He's interesting to me, though, just because it does seem pretty open behind Jonathan Taylor.
And, you know, you keep three running backs.
Those three running backs are probably Taylor Giddens and McGowan.
But I mean, it could be interesting.
You saw a guy like Ulysses Bentley stick around.
He's still here a year later, you know.
so maybe Jordan Vaughn can have kind of a similar impact and at least provide us with some fun in the preseason, you know.
Yeah, no, for sure.
I'm excited to see what he looks like just because, again, it's such a rare archetype.
Like, he's built like a tight end, basically.
So I just want to see if he moves like that on the field as well.
I think I read somewhere when he was at Wyoming, too, he played a different position before moving to running back,
which would make sense with his size in like physique, right?
Like a guy with that size running a 4-4, you're wondering why he's not playing lineback.
or rather than running back.
So I'm curious to see just what the plan is for him long term.
But yeah,
I think this is an interesting group of guys.
They actually signed a better undrafted for agent class than I expected coming out of this.
Yeah, there's a lot of notable guys on this list.
There's some years where I know one or two guys.
Yeah.
No, I did not expect this notable because they just didn't have that many roster spots.
Now, they cleared a lot of roster spots the last few days.
But getting guys like Cam Ball and Austin Brown and Nolan Rucci, West Weeks,
even, like those are notable names that I think are going to really
push some of the bottom guys on this roster.
So we'll see how it all plays out in training camp and when an actual mini camp kicks
off.
But that is all we have for today, guys.
