Locked On Titans - Daily Podcast On The Tennessee Titans - BREAKING: BRIAN DABOLL HIRED AS TENNESSEE TITANS OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR & PERFECT FIT FOR CAM WARD

Episode Date: January 27, 2026

BREAKING: TENNESSEE TITANS OFFICIALLY HIRE BRIAN DABOLL AS OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR!! This is incredible news for Titans fan as Daboll represents a true CEO level offensive coach who can run an entire un...it from top to bottom and has vast experience with developing young quarterbacks. That makes Daboll a great fit for Cam Ward as well as Ward becomes the next QB up in Daboll's list that includes Josh Allen, Daniel Jones, Jaxson Dart and Jalen Hurts. Ward needs the type of coaching Daboll brings to the table. On the defensive side of the ball, the Titans have hired Aron Whitecotton as the defensive line coach and not only is that an excellent hire, but it sets up Mike Rutenberg to be the defensive coordinator and that should be music to Titans fans' ears. LOCKED ON TITANS EVERYDAY CLUB: https://lockedontitans.supercast.com/ Subscribe to the TicTacTitans Film Channel:https://www.youtube.com/@TicTacTitans TicTacTitans Merchandise: https://dixons-dream.square.site/shop/tictactitans-gear/C3AAPNWXSXA6SBYG3USV2I7R?page=1&limit=30&sort_by=category_order&sort_order=asc Follow Tyler on Twitter @TicTacTitans Follow the show on Facebook @LockedOnTitansPod Subscribe to the Locked On Titans YouTube channel:https://www.youtube.com/c/LockedOnTitans/videos Everydayer ClubIf you never miss an episode, it’s time to make it official. Starting point is 00:00:45 use the code locked on for $20 off your first purchase the Brian dable news is official he has committed to be the offensive coordinator for the Tennessee Titans we got word early in the day that he wasn't gonna get the Buffalo Bill's head coaching job that went to Joe Brady but he was still open to taking the head coaching job for the Las Vegas Raiders, but that doesn't matter anymore. Brian Daibel is your next offensive coordinator and again, it is a home run higher for Tennessee Titans fans, for Robert Salah, and for Cam Ward. What a major move by Robert Salah to get Brian Daebel as his offensive coordinator. Obviously, I am super fired up. I know you guys are too. Can't wait to dive into all of it before we do.
Starting point is 00:01:35 Thank you for making Locked on Titans, your first listen each and every day. Remember, Monday through Friday, Tennessee Titans content all year round, always for free. Starting point is 00:01:56 Every Dayer Club as well. But again, massive news. Brian Dable's hire is official according to Jordan Schultz. He reported that Brian Dable has committed to the Tennessee Titans to be their offensive coordinator. Brian Dable flew from his second interview with the Las Vegas Raiders to Nashville to meet with the Titans. And I would imagine right now they're sitting down to work out the contract details. Plan who Brian Dable wants to hire for his coaching staff. But more important than anything.
Starting point is 00:02:26 What a home run slam dunk hire for the Tennessee Titans organization. to go from a guy like Brian Callahan with no experience doing anything at all and then go get two guys who are head coach level guys with experience running entire organizations and have Robert Sala with his defensive acumen and the schematic advancement that he's made on that side of the ball and how great he is running a defense and then to have that CEO level CEO style head coach on the offense and that's exactly what Robert Sala wanted. He didn't just want an offensive coordinator that didn't have experience.
Starting point is 00:03:04 He wanted a guy that could truly control the operation from top to bottom. Robert Sala doesn't have to worry about Brian Dable being able to properly install an offense. Robert Sala doesn't have to worry about Brian Dable being able to properly game plan for a matchup. This is a guy who, again, he is overqualified to be an offensive coordinator. This is a head coach level guy. and it's just such a perfect fit, and I'm so excited because of what it means. You know, all of you guys out there, not all of you guys,
Starting point is 00:03:36 but I see a lot of doomsday Titans fans worried about, oh, nobody wants to be here, this isn't a place, the terrible ownership. Well, the Titans just pulled two head coach-level coaches to be a brain trust to get this franchise right. Like, this is an absolute slam dunk for the Tennessee Titans, and we look at Brian Dable's credentials. Look at what Brian Dable has been able to do with the quarterbacks that he's worked with in his career.
Starting point is 00:04:01 He was in Alabama where they had Tua Tua Tua and they made Tua look like a top five pick and then Tua gets hurt. They go to Jalen Hertz and Jalen Hertz looks fantastic. Wins a national championship. Like those two guys,
Starting point is 00:04:16 he got the absolute best out of them at Alabama. Goes to the NFL with the Buffalo Bills and, hey, have you heard of Josh Allen? Potentially, Brian Dable developed Josh Allen into a perennial MVP candidate and one of the elite quarterbacks in the entire NFL. Then, then, because Josh Allen is so good,
Starting point is 00:04:39 then Brian Dable gets an opportunity to be a head coach with the New York Giants and he takes Daniel Jones to a playoff win. He won a playoff game as an underdog with Daniel Jones and had everybody in New York believing Daniel Jones is a guy that we can win with even after he had had a couple of days. down season. So then in the final year with the New York Giants I know that Daible got fired
Starting point is 00:05:03 But look at Jackson Dart Jackson Dart fell off a cliff once Brian Daible was fired. Yes, the Giants didn't win a bunch of games Yes, the Giants had some comebacks from other teams that robbed them of victories, but Jackson DART was incredible early on with Brian Dable and let me throw this in there too Brian Dable has been very, very open about the fact that he loves Cam Ward. And I'm going to talk about how Brian Dable is a perfect fit for Cam Ward and why I'm so excited about that pairing. But again, I want to look at this from the big picture standpoint of Robert Sala's first job, Robert Sala's first real defining task of whether we're going to have faith in Robert Sala or not
Starting point is 00:05:50 was to get a good offensive coordinator in here. And the fact that we have Robert Sala running a defense, Brian Dable running an offense, Bones Fossil, running the special teams. I mean, I don't want to get too over my skis here, but where are you going to find three guys, the three Wiseman, as we're going to call them? Where are you going to find a talented coaching staff
Starting point is 00:06:17 that has that level of coach at all? three positions. It's not very often. There is going to be a flaw somewhere. I think this is just absolutely tremendous. Not only again, for the offense, because Brian Daible was a CEO level offensive coach, but also because Robert Salah is great on defense and then it also proves that the Tennessee Titans are not an organization that people shy away from. Brian Daible decided that he would rather be the offensive coordinator for Cam Ward and Robert Sala in Tennessee than be the head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders with Fernando Mendoza
Starting point is 00:07:03 and the number one overall pick. The Titans Trinity, that's right, Ocho Mane, the Titans Trinity, the three Wisemen. Again, we can talk about how Brian Dable runs great offenses throughout his career. If that's what you want to talk about, I'm willing to talk about it. I mean, he has had multiple top 10 offenses throughout his career. He's won a national championship in college. And he is incredible in the run game. He is going to get the most out of the run game.
Starting point is 00:07:32 Top 10 run offenses seven times in 2009 with Cleveland. In 2012 with Kansas City. In 2018, 2019 in Buffalo. 2001 in Buffalo, 2002 with the New York Giants. Just this year with the New York Giants, the Giants had the fifth most rushing yards in the NFL. So you have a guy who is an incredible quarterback developer who also is great in manufacturing the run game.
Starting point is 00:08:06 What else could you want? Like, this is as good as the Tennessee Titans could have possibly done for the situation. Like, yes, maybe you could argue John Horace. Harball would have been a better head coach. Maybe you could argue Mike McDaniel would have been a better offensive coordinator. But McDaniel got hired by the Chargers. Hardball went to the Giants like we all expected.
Starting point is 00:08:28 And with what was available to the Titans, how could you possibly put together a better trio of coaches for the Titans right now than Salah, Daibel, and Bones Fossil? I mean, it's incredible. It is incredible. And we already have misinformation in the chat. He did not call plays for the New York Giants wrong. That's wrong.
Starting point is 00:08:49 Ryan Dable did call plays for the New York Giants. Things moved around a little bit with Mike Kaffkin there helping out. Absolutely true. But Brian Dable is who led Daniel Jones to a playoff victory. If that doesn't impress you, I don't know what will. I don't know what will. And again, the fact that we've been jerked around so much over the last couple of weeks, oh, the Titans have to wait for John Harbaugh.
Starting point is 00:09:17 Oh, the Titans have to wait for Kevin Stapansky. The Titans have to wait for Jeff Hathley and the Dolphins. Are the Titans going to be a bride instead of the bridesmaid? And then you were wondering, hmm, is Brian Dable just using the Titans as leverage to get to the Raiders, to get to the Eagles? No, not this time. The Titans get their man. The Titans are the bride of the ball.
Starting point is 00:09:40 The titan, I don't know if bride of the ball works, but you guys know. The bell of the ball, the bride. There we go. Putting it all together. I'm so fired up. Like, again, this is great when we talk about, the coaching staff and the quality of coaching that's going to be here. But not only that, what does this say about the Tennessee Titans organization?
Starting point is 00:09:59 I've tried to tell you guys, the Titans are not this downtrodded, disrespected, garbage organization that some of you Doomsday fans try to act like. The Browns can't even get a coach. Everyone's dropping out. The Raiders are still open. The Cardinals, no one wants to go there. The Titans got people lining up to be their offensive coordinator. This is not a disaster franchise that nobody wants to go to.
Starting point is 00:10:24 You know what I mean? Like, it's just wonderful. And again, it's not just one thing. You can't just say, oh, Josh Allen just made him look good. He made Tua and Jalen Hertz into national championship quarterbacks. He took Daniel Jones to a playoff win. He got the best out of Jackson Dart. It's not just a Josh Allen merchant situation.
Starting point is 00:10:48 Daible has been a great offensive team. play caller long before he ever got to Josh Allen and was good afterwards as well. And again, we talk about all the quarterbacks that Brian Daibble has worked with here. And that's why I think that Titans fans should be excited. Robert Sala should be excited. But Cameron Anthony Ward should be over the moon about this hire. Hey, it's Matt Derry from the Lockdown Lions podcast. The people I love depend on me.

Starting point is 00:13:15 And remember, it's game time. dot CO, not.com. Friends, let's continue today's edition of the Locked on Titans podcast. Again, the Brian Davel News is official. We got the report from Jordan Schultz, but also we got the report from my guy, Jelly Roll. Quick little story here. I got a buddy from high school who made a rap song with Jelly Roll one time.
Starting point is 00:13:54 So a little connection there for me, but cool to have Jelly Roll as one of the big time fans of the Titans. But again, big time hire, home run higher for Robert, And we talked about why it's so big for Sala, why it's so big for the Titans. But this is a massive hire for Cam Ward. Massive hire for Cam Ward. Because Brian Dable has been a quarterback developer and I have talked about the fact that what Cam Ward needs right now, what Cam Ward needs is tough coaching.
Starting point is 00:14:23 Cam Ward needs details. Cam Ward needs discipline. He needs to be fully, fully committed to being consistent with his mechanics. Cam Ward's issues can be mechanical. He can let his back foot get a little too far back. He can throw off that back foot a little bit too much. He can be a little lazy with his throwing motion and not get his feet lined up.
Starting point is 00:14:45 And that can lead to inaccuracies. We talked about Cam Ward's deep ball and how Cam Ward needs to be more accurate on his deep passes specifically outside the numbers. Okay, Cam Ward needs to be more consistent with the layups. He needs to hit those little quick throws on the quick screens, on the running back out, on the swing passes. He just needs to be more consistent with his ball placement.
Starting point is 00:15:07 And not only is Brian Dable going to be able to coach Cam Ward on that, he is going to demand it. He's going to demand perfection from Cam Ward every single rep, every single play. And I know I have talked about it. Brian Dable can be a little rough around the edges. He's a little bit of a fiery guy, a little piss and vinegar to Brian Dable, which, quite frankly, I relate to. I got a little bit of fire to me too.
Starting point is 00:15:35 That's how I like to see my coaches at. So when you have Robert Sala, who's going to get in your face, fire you up, coach with intensity, and then you have a guy on the offensive side of the ball who can match his freak. That is absolutely perfect for what the Titans need right now because here's the reality. We heard from Jeffrey Simmons.
Starting point is 00:15:55 He talked about it on Bustin with the boys. Brian Callahan was not demanding perfection. Brian Callahan was not holding guys accountable consistently in the locker room Brian Callahan wasn't going over all the film and leading the show and doing all of that Brian Daible will. Brian Daible will demand of you that you do the right things. Brian Daible will not let you sleep a single second when you're going through your progressions,
Starting point is 00:16:21 when you're going through your mechanics, when you're doing things the right way in your film study, your keys to victory from the offensive side of the ball and what you need to look for for the defense. We are going from a guy in Brian Callahan who had never called a single play in the NFL in his life To a guy that not only has been calling plays in the NFL since I was in college But a guy who's been a head coach and who's worked with a ton of young quarterbacks who needed that kind of development Remember who Josh Allen was coming out of Wyoming? Do you remember the conversation about Josh Allen?
Starting point is 00:16:59 He's a guy with tremendous talent he's got great arm talent he's got the velocity I saw Josh Allen throw a ball 70 yards in the air at the combine in 2018 what a miraculous moment for me that was incredible but again a raw talent with all the ability in the world that needed to hone in on his mechanics on his playmaking but also at the same time what you can't do is you can't neuter Cam Warder Josh Allen you don't want them to totally lose that play making ability. You want them to be them, but you want them to be the best version of themselves.
Starting point is 00:17:38 And Brian Daibel has brought that out of every single quarterback that he's worked with since 2016. Think about that. At Alabama with Tua and Jalen, Josh Allen, Daniel Jones, Jackson Dart, the best version of these quarter. Now, Daniel Jones this year with the Colts. You could say that was his best version. But the Colts didn't go win a playoff game with Daniel Jones now, did they? Brian Dable did that. So Brian Dable's personality, his experience, the type of quarterbacks that he's worked with,
Starting point is 00:18:07 that have tremendous physical gifts, but need to clean up the mechanics, need to be better on the margins. That is exactly what Brian Dable is conditioned to do, and his personality that is driven and fierce and in your face. That is exactly what Cam Ward needs right now to correct the issues that he needs to get better at. We know Cam Ward has a great arm. We know he has all the throwing angles. We know that he's a playmaker that can do things with his legs outside of the pocket and extend plays and do all that. Well, outside of the running ability of Josh Allen, like in the run game,
Starting point is 00:18:42 Cam Ward can do all that stuff too. Cam Ward can play exactly like Josh Allen without the quarterback run game element. And I will say, I had Brian Daibble as my number three offensive coordinator candidate behind Mike McDaniel and Cliff Kingsbury. And I still had him in the top tier, the hype tier, the S tier, as the young kids like to say. This is a home run hire, a hype higher for me. But I did wonder, would Brian Daible be able to coach a quarterback
Starting point is 00:19:10 that isn't a part of the run game? But here's the thing. Within Brian Daibble's offense, we have still seen a ton of play action, getting the quarterback on the move, moving the launching point, using rollouts to get the quarterback away from the pass rush, layering routes towards the outside where
Starting point is 00:19:32 Cam Ward maybe on the deep passes has struggled but Cam Ward was great on intermediate corner routes this year and quick out routes to the outside in the short and intermediate range quick short passing game getting the ball out of his hands quick intertwining the RPO game which Cam Ward had success with at college
Starting point is 00:19:51 and I want to make this clear because there seems to be some confusion RPO's do not always include a quarterback run option. A traditional RPO is not the same as a read option and when I tell you,
Starting point is 00:20:07 Cam Ward cannot do quarterback counter, quarterback power, quarterback blast, quarterback suite. Cam Ward is not a running quarterback. That doesn't mean that he can't do RPO's. Those aren't even the same things. Quarterback run game is not the same as RPO
Starting point is 00:20:25 and read option. Those aren't the same things. Cam Ward can have Absolutely do a quick read option like Ryan Tannahill used to do on the goal line and short yardage situations He can do that and Brian Dable is going to be able to set him up for success in that realm And not only that but the RPO game RPO is a read pass a run pass option You hand it to the running back or you throw a quick pass That's what the RPO is that's different than quarterback run game those aren't even the same things and there
Starting point is 00:20:59 It seems to be confusion with people on that realm. But what Brian Dable can do with play action, getting Cam Ward on the move, layering against zone coverages, creating schematic openings against man coverage, actually building a functional run game to support Cam Ward. And here's another thing that we need to say. Cam Ward is not a runner like Josh Allen,
Starting point is 00:21:31 or Jackson Dart or Daniel Jones. But Cam Ward can get more out of his legs. And I think my guy, Shahid Wiggins, said it perfectly. Cam Ward needs to run more, not like Josh Allen, but more like Patrick Mahomes. So Cam needs to be more included in the run game. When I say the run game, though, I don't mean quarterback counter, quarterback power, quarterback blast, quarterback sweep, like we see with Josh Allen and stuff.
Starting point is 00:21:57 But teaching Cam Ward how to utilize his legs more. often and be more strategic with it, I think absolutely is the right answer. Okay? Absolutely is the right answer. So the answer is not all the way to the quarterback run game. It's not all the way to Cam never needs to run the ball. It's about how to do that strategically to get the absolute best out of Cam Ward. So again, what Brian Daible likes to do on offense and I plan on doing a film breakdown on Brian Daibble's offense with the New York Jets, I plan on looking over all that and putting that on the Ticktack Titans YouTube channel here shortly, but like what Brian Dable is going to be able
Starting point is 00:22:36 to do to develop Cam Ward, how he's going to be able to build an offense around him, not only to get the best out of Cam Ward's talents, but also to support Cam Ward with a run game, with a quick passing game, with playmakers on the outside. I think that's absolutely incredible. And when you start to think about how this could impact free agency, the draft, think about a guy like Wondell Robinson, who was fantastic with the New York, Giants as a slot receiver. Guy like Mackay Lemon would certainly fill that role pretty well.
Starting point is 00:23:06 Think about Malik neighbors. A great dynamic weapon with yards after catchability. Maybe a guy like Jordan Tyson could fill that rule. Think about it. Think about it. There's a lot of great options here that are coming together
Starting point is 00:23:22 in Brian Dable's scheme and Brian Dable's history as a quarterback developer. Absolutely top tier perfection for Cam, and making him be the elite quarterback that we all hope and know that he can be. So excited about this fit, Brian Daibel is official, but guess what? There was more coaching news this week. The defensive coaching staff is starting to come together and I think I know
Starting point is 00:23:49 who's going to be the Titans next defensive coordinator. I want to let you guys know that today's episode is brought to you by FanDuel Sportsbook. Starting point is 00:24:59 sportsbook partner of Super Bowl 6th. visit fandle.com to get started. Fans, let's continue today's edition of the Locked on Titans podcast. We talked about the Brian Daybull Hire officially becoming official. We heard some news early in the day and I admit I was skeptical. I was like, hey now, I'm not counting my chickens until they hatch. My dad used to read Aesop's fables to me all the time and I know some Aesop's fables and the moral of the story is you can never count those chickies
Starting point is 00:25:44 until they hatch out of their eggs. But luckily the chickens hatched this. afternoon Brian Dable is official. Great news for the Tennessee Titans organization, great news for Robert Salah's offensive plan and a perfect fit for Cam Ward. But I do want to spin the conversation over to the defensive side of the ball because we got big news this week on defense as well as Robert Salah starts to fill out his defensive staff. And we got the news that Aaron Whitecotton from the Dallas Cowboys would be the Tennessee Titans defensive line coach and run game coordinator. And there seems to be some confusion there as well.
Starting point is 00:26:25 In the NFL nowadays, you have guys who are run game coordinators on defense and on offense. So Aaron Whitecotton will be the run game coordinator of the defense and he'll be the defensive line coach. And again, guys, over the moon could not have had a better hire to be the defensive line coach for the Tennessee Titans. Aaron Whitecotton was with Robert Sala in San Francisco then went with him to the New York Jets and was his defensive line coach there and think about what we're talking about here some of the best defensive lines that we've seen
Starting point is 00:27:01 he was with Robert Sala in Jacksonville as well but think about in San Francisco you had Solomon Thomas and Eric Armstead Nick Bosa then you go to San Francisco or you go to the New York Jets you know, they got the absolute best out of a John Franklin Myers, a Quinn and Williams, for example, a Jermaine Johnson, a Will McDonald. You know, they got the absolute best out of the defensive line in New York.
Starting point is 00:27:27 And then Aaron White Cotton goes to the Dallas Cowboys last year and their defensive line was the best part of their... The defense wasn't great in Dallas. I'm not going to tell you that it was. but, but the defensive line with Quinn and Williams, Sam Williams. They had some ballers
Starting point is 00:27:51 at Devinezoraku. For example, Jadavian Clowny they got the best out of. And Quinn and Williams, Quinn and Williams has been on the record, one of the best interior defensive linemen in the NFL, has been on the record saying, Aaron Whitecotton,
Starting point is 00:28:06 he took me from an ascending, good young player an all-pro level player. He credits Aaron Whitecotton with taking him to the next level. And I've already seen examples from guys who break down film with the Jets that White Cotton
Starting point is 00:28:23 changed Quinn and Williams' stance on the defensive line. And now he fires off the ball quicker. He's better with his hands. Aaron White Cotton is a monster on the defensive line. As a coach, he's got a little soul to him as well. You listen to him talk.
Starting point is 00:28:40 I like it. Cotton, now with Jeffrey Simmons, now with Tavondre Sweat, now with Femiola Dazio. White Cotton is about to turn these boys up. I cannot wait. What a great hire. White Cotton interviewed for the defensive coordinator position. So you're getting a guy who is a defensive coordinator level coach as your D-line coach and your run game coordinator. And not only that, but I think, I think,
Starting point is 00:29:12 that this sets up Mike Ruttenberg to be the Tennessee Titans defensive coordinator. Ruttenberg would also be a slam dunk hire a guy who coached with Sala in Jacksonville, a guy who coached with Sala in San Francisco, a guy who coached with the New York Jets.
Starting point is 00:29:33 Mike Ruttemberg right now is the linebacker coach of the Atlanta Falcons. Who is the defensive coordinator of the Atlanta Falcons? It's Jeff Olbrick, Who was Robert Salah's defensive coordinator with the New York Jets? Jeff Ulbric put the pieces together, folks. And think about this. If Mike Ruttemberg comes over to be the defensive coordinator,
Starting point is 00:29:59 who knows Robert Sala's defense better than Mike Ruttnberg, who's been with him at Jacksonville, San Francisco, and the New York Jets. Think about what the defensive coordinator's role is going to be Robert Sala has already said he is calling plays on defense He is not going to make the same mistake that he made With the New York Jets and not call plays
Starting point is 00:30:23 Robert Sala is going to call plays on the defensive side of the ball So his defensive coordinator has to know his defense just as well as he does So that he can game plan So that he can install somebody who is the DC needs to know that defense just as well as Sala does so he can teach it to the players and nobody other than Jeff Oldbrick in the NFL
Starting point is 00:30:48 who is staying as the defensive coordinator of the Falcons nobody knows Sala's defense better than Mike Ruttenberg and remember Aaron Whitecotton is the run game coordinator for the Titans defense along with being the defensive line coach well what do you think Mike Rutenberg's job was outside of being the linebacker coach in Atlanta. He was the pass game coordinator. So you have a guy in Aaron Whitecotton
Starting point is 00:31:15 who's one of the best D-line coaches in the league and the run game coordinator and you pair him with Mike Ruttenberg as the defensive coordinator who's a past game specialist. Bang! What a combination. What a combination. And if you were hype about the defensive line examples
Starting point is 00:31:33 that I gave you with Aaron White, Cotton. Think about the linebackers from the New York Jets. J. Mosley, Quincy Williams, Jermaine Sherwood. Think about Atlanta as of late with a guy like Nate Landman who went on to the Los Angeles Rams and had a great season this season didn't he. Think about the linebackers that played for the Atlanta Falcons this year. Yeah, they're outside linebackers. But Jalen Walker and James Pierce Jr. were awesome. Think about Caden Ellis at linebacker, stand-up linebacker. Think about Divine Diablo, who was a wash-off.
Starting point is 00:32:16 Nobody believed in him anymore. Think about Leonard Floyd, who had a great year with the Falcons. All of the linebackers from the Atlanta Falcons last year had good seasons. Their defense was pretty talented. The linebackers in the defensive line for the New York Jets were out of this world incredible. they were the number one defense in the NFL. And now the Titans are most likely going to get both of those guys
Starting point is 00:32:41 to run their defense underneath Robert Sala, who's calling the place. What else could you ask for? What else could you possibly need? Now, I really like Al Harris. I think that Dino Vaso would also be an interesting name. But if the Titans don't go with Mike Ruttenberg, they need to get somebody who is talented,
Starting point is 00:33:05 in passing defense, and to me that's Al Harris from the Chicago Bears, their defensive back coach. Bring Al Harris over and let him be the defensive coordinator. But here's where I pause. Al Harris has never worked in Robert Salas defense as a coach before. So how could he possibly teach the defense as well as a guy as Mike Ruttenberg, who has literally taught this defense for multiple years? So that's why I think it'll happen soon, but I'm betting that, Mike Ruttenberg will be the next
Starting point is 00:33:37 defensive coordinator and you pair that with Aaron Whitecotton on the D-line this Titans defense is about to go to the moon and then full circle you pair that with Brian Daible a head coach level offensive coordinator folks
Starting point is 00:33:52 we are cooking with gas absolutely fantastic absolutely fantastic news over the moon I'm over the moon with these hires I was worried I was concerned but man it is time to party Titans fans this could not have worked out
Starting point is 00:34:10 much better for the Tennessee Titans could not be more excited but with that being said Robert Salas press conferences on Thursday we're probably gonna get more news on head coaching hires I would imagine that there will be some hold over on the offensive side of the ball again Luke Stocker I think is gonna be retained Randy Jordan probably gonna be retained at running back coaches we've heard reported before, everything's coming up, Titans, baby. Could not be more excited. And after we get this coaching stuff settled, it's time to move on to roster decisions. If you want to stay as up-to-date, as informed, as entertained as a Tennessee Titans fan could possibly
