Locked On Titans - Daily Podcast On The Tennessee Titans - Cam Ward SHOULD HAVE INPUT in Tennessee Titans Next Head Coach & Blitz Battle vs. Kansas City Chiefs
Episode Date: December 18, 2025The Tennessee Titans are just weeks away from going full speed into a head coaching search and Cam Ward has expressed a desire to have input in the next coach -- and he should! Ward has shown all seas...on long that he is a better decision maker than a lot of people in the building and giving him some say or at minimum, input, seems like the easy decision. However, the coach has to be more than just someone Ward likes. Moving to the matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs, the Titans will have to be ready for the heavy-blitz attack of the Chiefs defense and also be ready to blitz Gardner Minshew themselves. Players like James Williams, Arden Key, Chim Dike and Tyjae Spears will be critical to success, even if the Titans are not likely to win. Couldn't do it without you guys.
If you aren't an everydayer, you need to be one.
Again, we're going to be talking about the Titans Head coaching search.
That's going to be big news here in just a couple of weeks.
I'm going to be breaking down all the candidates,
keeping you up to date on all the latest reports and rumors and information.
Also, after the game on Sunday,
I'm going to be here on the channel live
to break down exactly what we saw out on the football field.
But with all that being said, again, big preamble,
but thank you for staying locked in with Locked on Titans.
Cam Ward said that he wants input in the Tennessee Titans head coaching search
and duh, we should all want that as well.
That's exactly what Tennessee Titans fans should want to hear.
And it's crazy to me that I'm seeing some pushback all over the net.
Like, oh, what's he done to earn it?
Why would they listen to him?
What has he been?
Is this guy?
And it's like, what are we really talking about here?
Number one, it's just logical that you would want your young quarterback involved in picking the coach
who in theory should grow with him for the next decade.
I mean, if things go well, that's what you're looking at.
That's what you want out of this process.
Not only that, but Cam Ward has proved to me throughout the entire season
that he's a guy I actually do trust.
And I think he's one of the few people going on with the operation right now
who actually do know what they're doing for.
for where they're at in their career.
And not only that, listen,
Cam Ward can't pick the coach himself.
They need someone to lead the team,
but he certainly should be involved.
So this is exactly what Cam Ward said
that had everybody in a tizzy.
Quote, I want to meet all of them.
Every coach who's going to get an opportunity to come here,
I want to meet them,
have conversations throughout the whole process with them
because that's someone that I'm going to be with here for that time.
The Titans front office knows how much I want to be involved
and then especially just not even with the scheme part of it
just as a head coach who he is on an everyday basis
and then we'll get into the scheme, what I know I'm good at,
what I want to do and what he thinks will also help me.
End of the quote.
Like, what is wrong with that quote?
Why are people freaking out about that saying,
oh, Cam Ward said he wants to pick the next head coach?
No, he said the most logical thing possible.
He wants to know these coaches.
He wants to be a part of the process to know what their views are and what their plan is
and who they are as a person because, again, the most important thing for the Titans
in this head coach hiring process here is to get a leader.
But again, it is just logical to want your young quarterback to be involved in the process
and be someone who works well with the coach.
You can't have Mike Borganzi saying, I'm going to pick the head coach
you know, that works best with me
because we have to work as a team
to build this roster and coach this roster,
the relationship will be a big factor.
Okay?
Well, you can't say that
and then not think that the relationship
between the quarterback and the head coach
isn't a big factor.
So just by logic,
that is obviously a smart thing to do
is take your young quarterback's input
and make sure that he's a good fit
with the coach that you're bringing in.
That's just like, duh.
What else do we?
Look at what Dave Canales is doing for Bryce Young right now.
Look at Ben Johnson.
and Caleb Williams
like that is the number one thing that you can do
look at Liam Cohen and Trevor Lawrence
I know Lawrence isn't as young as those two guys
but he's still a young quarterback
and look how that's going
Lawrence is playing his best ball of his career
because Cohen knows
what the best way to get the best out of him is
and I think Ben Johnson giving tough love to Caleb Williams
and Bryce Young getting tough love from Dave Canales
I think that matters
so that's just the logical part
I don't understand how anyone could push back on
hey, our young quarterback should be involved in the process of picking who the head coach is going to be.
Duh, you know?
Like, it's just nonsensical to even be like, well, he hasn't earned that.
It's not about earning it.
It's about what's smart.
Like, I just, you know, it's like the same thing from when they drafted Cam Ward number one.
And people are like, he's got to earn it.
They got, you know, he should get even reps and have to beat, like, what are we doing here?
Why do we have to play this dumb macho pride game where ego gets in the way of what the
is. Like, there's a fine line there, but I just think it's insane to say he hasn't earned it.
It's not about earning it. It's about setting up your young quarterback which would set up your team to be successful.
You can't put some of these pride things and some of these macho man behaviors ahead of logic and what's smart for the team.
So I think it makes total sense and not only that, like I said, why would I not trust Cam Ward?
Cam Ward was the guy who said, hey, why would we?
we not go for it on these fourth downs? Why are we being so conservative? Look at the situation
that we're in and everybody got mad at him then. Oh, why is he questioning? Mike McCoy,
he shouldn't question. Yes, he should. Yes, he should. You know, like there is a respect
factor and hey, you know, that's your head coach, you don't this, but like, what if you're in
the passenger seat with your grandpa driving and he's missing stop signs and not seeing the light
change it's like I respect and love you grandpa but like I need to drive like this is dangerous
you know like there is a line in the sand of where it's like yeah respect your superiors and
things like that but like that can't be ironclad there is a point where you have to like
protect yourself you know what I mean and cam ward is like why are we not going for it on
fourth and three across the 50 when we're down in second halfs why are we not being more
aggressive. And I made the argument that not only is that bad for the football team
and illogical decision-making, but also that hurts Cam Ward's development. I talked
about it this week, you gotta let him, even if he's gonna struggle, you gotta let him go
through those struggles in those fourth-down situations, just more reps for
Cam Ward. Why would we not do that? So the guy who is arguing for that this year
has been Cam Ward. So I trust Cam Ward more than I trust a lot of the other
decision-makers that are in that building right now.
So, anyway, I think that proves that Cam Ward can be trusted.
Not only he had the, you know, the word but comment, which was brutal and honest.
And then he was mad after the Cleveland win.
And again, we got the story we weren't supposed to hear,
but we got it nonetheless of Arden Key on the intercom
saying, you know, don't listen to Cam Ward, enjoy win,
it's hard to win in the NFL.
Do we want Arden Key to be the leader and the tone-setter
and the mentality-setter of this franchise,
a classic goof-off guy? Or do we want Cam Ward who's mad even after a win because
we didn't play well? I want Cam Ward. So it's like everything that Cam Ward has done this
year to show his personality and how he handles things and his view on things. I have agreed
with so why would I why would I not want that guy who's also the young quarterback of this
franchise to be involved in hire in the head coach? I want a head coach who is on the same page
with him about those things. Now, listen, my final point on this is, I am not saying that
Cam Ward should pick the head coach, that Cam Ward should walk into Mike Borgonzi and
Chad Brinker and say, I like this coach, hire him. No, of course not. That is a step too far.
That's not what should happen. But his input, him having some say, him at least advising
Brinker and Borgonzi, hey, I really got along with this guy. I really don't.
his vision. Hey, I like these three guys. They stood out to me ahead of everybody else.
Why would we not want Cam Ward to say that? Even if I don't want Cam Ward to literally be like,
pick that guy, that's the guy. That's not what we're saying. But again, sometimes I think
people don't understand the proper way to make decisions. And the proper way to make decisions
is to take in all of the information that you can possibly take in and then take in good advice
from people that you trust and then make your,
and eventually you got to put your foot down
and make the decision, yes,
and then you live with that decision.
But the best way to do it
would be to get as much information as you possibly can.
Again, cast a wide net,
even if you don't plan on hiring certain guys
or they're not at the top of your list,
you interview them to at minimum,
how would you fix this roster?
What do you think of our young quarterback?
What do you think are our biggest needs on defense?
What are our biggest deficiencies?
Even if you don't plan on hiring a guy,
even if you like somebody else,
else. You like a couple other guys. They aren't your top candidates. Not only do you get information
from that person, but you could be blown away and find a diamond in the rough. So it only makes
sense not only to cast a wide net with candidates no matter what you're, you know, you're always
going to have your, your priors. You're always going to go into it like, I think I like this guy more.
I think I like this guy more. But if you don't go in with an open mind and that includes
taking in information including the input from your young quarterback. So it's all about being
open-minded throughout the decision-making process
and it would only be logical to keep Cam Ward involved
even if I also agree that Cam Ward shouldn't go into the office
and say, that guy, you're hiring him.
That's not how it should go, but at the same time, again,
he should absolutely be involved in the head coaching hiring process.
No doubt about it and I don't understand how anyone could push back on that.
But with that being said, Titans Chiefs.
Do want to let you guys know that today's episode is brought to you,
by game time.
The World Cup is coming back to North America
for the first time since 1994.
I was three years old.
And with 48 teams for the first time ever,
it's going to be massive.
But let's be honest,
getting tickets is usually the hardest part.
And that's why the game time app is clutch,
finally giving fans a real advantage
when it comes to snagging seats.
With game time, you can track price drops in real time.
You can get alerts when great seats open
and buy tickets the moment they hit the app.
It puts the power back in your hands
and it makes going to the World Cup
realistic instead of impossible.
All you got to do is pull up the app.
The layout looks so simple.
You can scroll through the matchups,
compare seat views and you can pick a game,
tap on a section and have your tickets locked in
within minutes, no confusion, no hunting for fine print.
Take the guesswork out of buying World Cup tickets
and every match, concert, an event.

Titans fans. Let's continue today's edition of the Locked on Titans podcast.
We broke down why I think Cam Ward should absolutely be involved in the Tennessee
Titans head coach hiring process. But even though, even though I don't want him to literally
point his finger and pick the guy, that's got to be Mike Borganzi and Chad Brinker, of course.
But his input should definitely be taken in.
But the Titans have a big game this week. We've got to go over Keyes to
victory players to watch my predictions for this game, a little tank viewing guide as well
for the weekend. I do want to thank you for making a locked on titan joy first listen each and
every day. Thank you for making the locked on podcast network. Your first listen and the number
one sports podcast network. But with that being said, key to victory number one to me is to run the
football. So that kind of ties into key to victory number two where the Tennessee Titans have to be
ready for the blitz battle. Number one, the Titans have to run the football.
and it's going to be more difficult than the last two weeks.
The Chiefs are not a team that's just going to sit in four-man fronts
and not put pressure on the line of scrimmage.
Like we talked about earlier this week in the run game reality check,
they are a very good run defense already, just generally speaking,
not even with the schematic part of it.
99.1 yards per game allowed.
That's top seven in the NFL.
And again, this is not a team that is going to play schematically,
like the 49ers and like the Cleveland Browns.
where they didn't crowd the line of scrimmage,
try to jump through the Tennessee Titans combo blocks,
disrupt double teams at the line of scrimmage
by having so many people up at the line.
I talked about it earlier this week.
The San Francisco 49ers, the Cleveland Browns played a lot of four-man fronts.
Think about like a four-three defense.
It doesn't have to be a four-three.
I'm just the front.
Four guys on the line of scrimmage.
And what teams normally do is,
even if they're a four-man front team,
instead of a five-man front team,
what they'll do is they'll bring their linebackers and safety.
up and you see teams do it all year if you haven't noticed it. They'll kind of blitz their
safeties and line through these gaps of the offensive line. Well, San Francisco and Cleveland
didn't do a lot of that. So it let the Titans offensive line not have to deal with that
immediate pressure and allow them to move their double teams off the line of scrimmage,
climb up to the second level without a lot of traffic and without a lot of hesitation.
Like those teams didn't get downhill the way that the Chief's defense is going to get downhill.
So if the Titans want to keep their offense playing the way that it's
played the last couple of weeks to give them a chance in this game, they're going to have
to run the football and it's going to be more difficult this week than it was in previous
weeks. Not only that, running the football is going to keep the Titans out of third and long
situations where they are susceptible to the Kansas City Chiefs Blitz. Again, Cleveland was a
blitz team, but they didn't blitz a ton in that game. San Francisco is one of the least
blitzing teams in the NFL. So last week, the Titans didn't have to deal with that immediate
pressure in the run game or in pass protection. Well, Kansas City blitz is the third most in the NFL and they
run the most percent of cover zero.
What's cover zero?
It's where you have man coverage across the board,
five guys on five eligibles.
You have no back deep safety.
You have no zone help over the middle
and you're blitz and everybody else.
So five guys in coverage,
you're blitz and six guys.
And Chiefs, again, run that more than any other team in the NFL.
So with that in mind,
the Titans are going to have to be ready for that pressure.
and it's something that they haven't been very good with for most of the season.
I mean, for most of the year,
it has been a significant struggle when teams play man coverage
and bring pressure against the Titans.
That's just a reality of the situation.
It's something that they've struggled against.
I've talked about Cam Ward struggles against cover one man.
We've talked about that in previous matchups for the Titans.
Man coverage already gives the Titans problems,
and when you start bringing the pressure,
I mean, Cam Ward this year,
we talk about other quarterbacks,
But Cam Ward this year, his completion percentage when he's kept clean at 67.3% drops all the way down to 40% when he's under pressure.
And I mean, against the blitz, when he's blitzed, it's at 54%.
That's not very good.
You know, like he really struggles when he's under pressure, when he's blitzing, and the chiefs are going to bring it.
And it's having answers is really what it is.
What the Titans do when they face pressure like this,
they try to chip with the tight end and the running back
and then they try to get out into the checkdown
and the problem is
is that the pressure will get there quicker
than
you know, Cam can get the pass off
or the checkdown can get out into their route
and then there's just nowhere to go.
So now you're leaving extra guys in
because you want to protect from the pressure
but the reality is by leaving those guys in
you're hurting yourself against the pressure
because now you only have three guys out
in passing routes
and
you have
five guys
out defending in the pass
that's a mismatch
it's hurt the Titans all season long
so if they try to do that
they're going to be in trouble I think that they need to just give up
on the chipping
not entirely not the whole game
but like what they need to do is on some of these third downs
they just need to get five guys out
just get five guys out
because the reality is I don't think that the chiefs
you know one of the problems for the chiefs
is the chiefs have less sacks this year than the Titans
the chiefs are blitzing the third amount in the NFL
but they're not even getting home
so it's not like the chiefs have a bunch of pass rushers
that really scare you and Chris Jones was limited
with an injury
I bet that Chris Jones plays
but a lot of people for the Chiefs
including Chris Clark on the crossover yesterday
are saying that they hope
that the Chiefs sit these veteran guys who are banged up
because what's the point in winning anyway?
You might as well shut them down
and make sure that they don't get hurt in any significant way
for next season like Pat Mahomes did.
So the Chiefs are probably going to blitz
but their individual blitzers
aren't going to be fearful pass rushers
other than like Carl Offtis
who's a really good play.
so just get guys out
attack the blitz by getting the ball out
and we're going to talk about some players who I think can really help with that
but beat it with speed and timing
and Trent McDuffey is banged up
it's not the chiefs are susceptible
right now
their defense has not been as good as you would expect
so take advantage of it
you got guys that can win against their guys
you just do and then the final key to victory for me
to tackle, tackle, tackle, because
Garner Minchew is going to run a ton of
wide receiver screens. The Chiefs already
have a lot of screens and quick stuff
and, you know, little shovel passes
and tight end quick screens.
And they got all that stuff in the playbook already.
So they're really going to load up on running
the ball and using the screen game
as a function of the run game to make it easy
on Garner Minchew. You're going to
have to tackle and get guys on the ground.
And with so many backups in,
you know, it may be difficult. It may be difficult.
But the reality is they're going to have to
tackle if they're going to make that work.
And now we go to my players to watch in this game.
And I talked about the pressure that the chiefs can bring.
And it's up in the air right now as to whether Chris Jones will play.
But if Chris Jones does play, that means I'm putting a heavy emphasis on Peter Skoronsky.
Peter Skoronsky is going to have to do a job this week.
And he's going to have to help out when he doesn't have a man responsibility.
and he can't be a guy who gets beat against the interior rushers.
It's going to put pressure on the Titans tackles,
but they're the ones who get the chip help when they do chip help.
So the interior guys have to win,
and will Kevin Zeichler play, groin injury, that's still up in the air,
tried to go last week, had to come out.
They might just give him a week off.
He's an older player.
But Dan Moore's back at practice.
He should be there.
Latham has been playing better football.
And again, the Chiefs don't have a ton of guys
who scare you individually.
So what I need is Peter Skoronsky to be dominant
and not only that, but he's got to help everybody else.
He's got to be ready to go for that pressure.
And then I go to the running backs.
Listen, I talked about how the Titans have to run the ball.
That's a lot of Tony Pollard.
But against the Blitz,
they're going to have to be really good in past protection
when it's time to stay in,
and they're going to have to be really good
at making plays one-on-one when they get the ball outside.
I imagine a ton of dump-offs to Tajay Spears this week.
this is a week where you run a wheel route down the sideline with a running back,
motion them out of the backfield next to a wide receiver,
run them on a wheel route, maybe you get them one-on-one on a lineback.
I think Taj Spears has a big week catching the football.
I think he gets at least 50 yards receiving this week.
That's my call for the week.
I got Taj Spears 50 yards receiving.
He's going to break off the big screen.
He's going to have a one-on-one matchup with a linebacker,
shake him and get down the sideline.
He's going to do it a couple of times in a couple of chunks.
I think the running backs.
Pollard running hard, spears out of the backfield against the blitz of the Kansas City Chiefs in one-on-one
and both of the running backs in pass protection.
I think that's absolutely critical.
And then the final player to watch, again, we're going to see a lot of man coverage from the Chiefs
when they run these blitz packages.
And I think Chim D.K. in one-on-one getting open.
We saw Kim Ward miss him on one against the Cleveland Browns,
but he's also had big games this year against tight-man coverage.
The Chiefs haven't played as much man coverage as of late as they did earlier in the season.
I think that's because of some of the injuries that they've dealt with.
But against the Titans, because the Titans limited personnel,
I think Kansas City will come out with a heavy man approach in this one
because they're not worried about the Titans' weapons.
So Chim D.K, I think, could break off a couple of big ones,
get open down the field against man.
And if Cam can hit them on a couple, I think it could flip the field
and give the Titans great opportunities to get points.
We move to the defensive side of the ball for the players to watch.
Number one for me is Arden Key.
The Kansas City Chiefs offensive tackles have struggled all year long.
They have a ton of injuries there.
Juan Taylor banged up.
Jalen Moore, their swing tackle backed up.
Josh Simmons is out.
Last week, they had a guy named Pauley in.
I don't even know who that is.
I'm locked in to most of the NFL,
and I don't know who that is.
They have Trey Smith, who's been banged up.
Creed Humphrey is amazing at center.
But outside of that,
Suamatai, their left guard.
Kingsley Suamatai, who I liked a little bit out of BYU a couple of years ago in the draft.
Decent player, but everything else has kind of been upheaval.
And with Garner Minchu, he really struggles under pressure.
So Arden Key should be able to get some pressure on the tackles.
Arden Key is a mid player at best.
But in a matchup where he should have some opportunities to win against players
who he's probably better than, I expect him to do that.
And that would make a big difference because, again,
getting pressure on Garner Minchu is going to be key because he really struggles
when he's under pressure and obviously he can't be very warmed up right now
after not playing very much throughout the season.
He only played a handful of snaps last week after Mahomes got hurt.
The next player that I want to talk about as a player to watch on defense is James Williams.
Cedric Gray concussion.
I would sit him in this game.
Let's not play around with concussions and linebackers who are in car crashes nonstop,
especially a guy who plays the way that Cedric Gray does.
He's a full-on football player.
He's going to want to play.
Let's protect Cedric Gray from himself here.
This game, you know, these games don't truly matter at the end of the day.
I think James Williams, it would be good to get him some run and get him some opportunity
just to continue to develop him while also being safe with Cedric Gray.
But again, Kansas City is going to throw a lot of screens.
They're going to try to run the football.
They have a backup quarterback in.
James Williams got to make sure that you tackle well, but I want to see him out on the field.
And then finally, Amani Hooker, the Titans are on their 6th, 7th, 8th safety outside of Amani Hooker.
So he's going to have to not only play good.
Travis Kelsey is going to be a problem.
The Chiefs have fast wide receivers.
He's going to have to play at the line of scrimmage
against those screens and in the run game.
It's going to be a tough game for Amani Hooker.
And not only that, he's going to have to coach out on the field.
He's going to have to tell all these backup safeties
that the Tennessee Titans are going to have to deal with
now that literally Kevin Winston, Xavier Woods,
and Mike Brown all went to injured reserve.
So they're going to be playing guys I've never even heard of out there.
Okay?
and Amani Hooker is just going to have to direct all that traffic.
So he's going to have to have a big game.
So those are my keys to victory, my players to watch.
Let me know your keys to victory, your players to watch now.
I'm going to get into my predictions for this game
and give you guys one more little tank guide
so you know what to be rooting for this weekend.
Do want to let you guys know that today's episode is brought to you
by prize picks.
The holiday season is one of the best times for sports.
sports, bowl games, big basketball matchups, playoff pushes, all happening at once,
tank races. And while we're all making choices every day, one of the most fun places to make
the right call, is prize picks. Price picks is the easiest way to get in on daily fantasy.
You just pick more or less on at least two players' projections. You lock in your lineup and
you're in the game. It's simple, it's fast. It's available in 45 states, including
California, Texas, Florida, and Georgia. Price picks adds that extra layer of excitement to the
holiday sports schedule. Creating a lineup takes less than a minute and the app makes the whole
process smooth and intuitive. They have some awesome features including an early payout feature.
They have a stacks feature that lets you choose the same player up to three times in one lineup
so you could pick more or less on the same quarterback's passing yards, touchdowns, rushing yards.
Download the price picks app today. Use the code locked on NFL to get $50 in lineups
after you play your first $5 lineup. That's code.

It's price picks.
It's good to be right.
Titans fans, let's cap off
today's edition of the Locked-on Titans podcast.
We talked about Cam Ward having some say
with the Tennessee Titans coaching search
got into my keys to victory and my players to watch
as the Titans take on the Chiefs in week 16.
Now I want to give you guys my predictions for this game
and tell you what you should be looking for
if you're interested in the Tennessee Titans tank.
Again, do want to thank you for making a locked-on Titans
your first listen each and every day
and thank you for making the Lockdown Podcast Network
the number one sports podcast network.
With that being said though, my prediction for this game
I do have the Tennessee Titans losing this one.
20 to 17. Now, I've got to be honest with you. I'm picking with my heart
on this one. I don't want the Titans to win this game.
And I talked about it earlier this week.
But it's just a lose-lose situation for the Titans.
If they win, it's not even a good win against the Chiefs.
If you told me earlier this year, hey, the Titans are going to beat the Chiefs in week 16.
I would be like, awesome. Okay, yeah, they won.
Heard a draft pick. But that means Cam Ward went toe-to-to-to with Patrick Mahomes
and beat them. And we talked about this
before the season. We talked about
the fact that, like, okay,
I could see the Titans struggling early
and then kind of rounding into form,
playing better football, and maybe
they're competitive against the 49ers.
They're competitive against the Chiefs.
Late in the year, they beat the Jags.
They play spoiler to somebody.
And that gives them momentum
going into 2026.
Well, it's not really going to play out that way
because Patrick Mahon's isn't even out there.
So if they beat Garner-Minchie,
It's going to be like, dang it, they won.
And now the draft picks hurt.
And we can't even be that happy because they just beat Garner-Minchu.
But if they lose, it's like, oh, Cam Ward lost to Garner-Menschu.
And that's going to be its own bad, even if they lose, and that's good for the draft pick.
So there's like, it's a lose-lose game for the Titans,
so they might as well just lose and get the draft pick.
Whatever.
You know what I mean?
I think it's going to be close, no matter what.
The Chiefs are just a different level of football team,
even if they're struggling this year.
Garner Mentionu, I said it yesterday.
Garner Minchu is 2 and 2 against the Titans
and his career starts against him.
It's not like Garner Minchu is so bad that he can't win.
So, I think it'll be close.
I think it'll be a tight game.
I do think the Chiefs win.
Again, 20 to 17 is my score prediction for this one.
As for keeping it plus 100,
looking at the gambling aspect of the game,
the Titans are three-point underdogs right now.
The over-under is 37 and a half.
me personally I would stay away from that line
I'm not going to be looking at the Titans this week
as one of the best bets or of the NFL Slade
or anything like that I would kind of stay away from that line
I think the score will be right in there
so it's not a if it was three and a half
I would probably go Titans
if it was two and a half
I would probably consider Kansas City
but three is just the worst
three and seven are just the worst
it gives you no value
in my opinion I don't like it
I don't trust it with Garner Minchu
you can't know for
certain, so I would stay away from the line, but if I had to lean, I would lean Titans
plus three at home. I think it's going to be a close game. So I'd lean Titans plus three. If I had to,
you guys know, I hate over-unders, 37 and a half. I would go under, but yeah, no, I, you guys
know, over-unders, I don't even like leaning. I hate over-unders. They're the worst. Finally,
my beautiful, dark-twisted fantasy player of the week, I mentioned him earlier, Tage Spears.
I think Tajay Spears could have double-digit fantasy points this week.
I think we get about three catches, 50 yards, a couple rushes for 20 yards,
maybe even a touchdown in there.
I think this is a good opportunity for Tajay Spears to kind of have a good fantasy game.
If you're in daily fantasy, if you're in a tough spot in the fantasy playoffs,
I'm knocked out in both my leagues.
I'm in a losers bracket that I've got a win to get out of.
It's been a tough year fantasy-wise for me.
But regardless, if you're still in, if you're still playing,
I think Spears would make a lot of sense.
And then real quick, the tank guide for the Titans.
So we're looking at the Giants and the Raiders
are the teams that the Tennessee Titans need to compete with most
because those are the teams that also have two wins.
The Giants play the Minnesota Vikings.
I think there's a chance the Giants could win that game.
They're at home against Minnesota.
But I said that last week for the commanders,
and they did not win that game.
But I'm hoping the Giants win that game.
Las Vegas is at Houston.
They're going to get absolutely destroyed.
but again, Vegas and New York play each other in week 17.
So in theory, if the Giants win this week and the Vegas
and the Raiders win next week and the Titans lose out,
they get the number one pick.
And even such, we want as many teams to win like the Jets, the Browns, Arizona.
The Jets play at New Orleans.
I kind of hope New Orleans wins that game, though,
because I want New Orleans just to play good,
so they beat the Titans next week.
Cleveland plays Buffalo.
They're going to lose that game.
Arizona plays Atlanta, though.
And Arizona is a team that could be sneaky, given the Titans a problem.
So, I'd like to see Arizona win against that later.
But the Jets could maybe beat New Orleans.
The Giants could beat Minnesota.
And then we really got to worry about the Titans.
So those are the games to pay attention to.
That's who you want to be rooting for.
That's going to do it for me today, folks.
Again, thank you for making the Locked on Titans podcast your first listen.
I am your host, Tyler Rowland.
and this was locked on tight.
