Locked On Titans - Daily Podcast On The Tennessee Titans - ROSTER PREDICTIONS: Tennessee Titans RECEIVER ROOM & OFFENSIVE LINE Roster Math Gets Difficult
Episode Date: May 11, 2026The Tennessee Titans are about to enter their summer practice schedule with a full 91-man roster, but that will eventually be trimmed down to the final 53. Now is the perfect time for some ROSTER PRED...ICTIONS before everything kicks off. The math is particularly hard on the offensive side of the ball where wide receiver and offensive line are up in the air. Players like Xavier Restrepo and Bryce Oliver could be odd men out. On Defense, there simply aren't enough roster locks at multiple positions and this will make battles all over the depth chart. The Tennessee Titans currently have 91 players, but only 53 can make the final cut.
I'm going to tell you who I think makes the final roster on today's edition of Locked on Titans.
You are Locked on Titans, your daily Tennessee Titans podcast, part of the Locked On Podcast Network, your team every day.
Welcome to the Locked on Titans podcast.
I am your host, Tyler Rowland Titans.

on today's show. I am going to do my initial predictions for the Tennessee Titans 53 man
roster. We're going to go through every single position and talk about who makes the cut. There are
so many roster battles. There are so many math problems to figure out on this.
roster. We're going to talk about why wide receiver is one of the big traffic jams,
talk about the numbers on the offensive line, and it's all about what depth the Titans
want on defense. Now, we got to start with the skilled position players on the offensive
side of the ball, because again, I think wide receiver is one of the toughest conversations
to have. In my opinion, there are five locks at wide receiver. No matter what happens,
these five guys are going to make the team.
Carnel Tate, Calvin Redley, Wondale Robinson,
that's your starting three right there,
and then, of course, Chim Dikeyam Manor.
Those are your five at wide receiver.
But how many do the Tennessee Titans keep, again, the math problems that are created?
They keep six, that's perfectly fine,
but you can't keep six wide receivers and four running backs
and three quarterbacks and four tight ends
and nine offensive linemen.
guess that you could, but that's a lot of numbers used on the offensive side of the ball.
Would the Titans keep seven wide receivers?
If you want to do that, you certainly can't keep all the numbers at the other places,
especially when Robert Sala wants to have a rotation on the defensive line.
I think the defensive line numbers are going to be pretty heavy.
So that means that you can't go super heavy to the offensive side of the ball
and just not have the depth you want on defense when you brought in all these guys.
and when we get to the defense,
you'll see how that kind of stacks up quickly.
But again,
I don't know if the Tennessee Titans
are going to do much more than five wide receivers,
if I'm honest with you.
I think after that top five,
it gets dicey.
Who I think has a great chance to make it,
if I'm honest with you,
is Bryce Oliver.
I know that Bryce Oliver has been one of those,
you know,
oh, this guy's better than it seems.
He's an undrafted guy, but he can make an impact.
And, you know, he's had some moments where he caught some passes
and you're like, okay, maybe.
But he hasn't been able to put it together,
had health issues all last year.
But I think that Bryce Oliver is going to win his roster spot on special teams.
And he gives you another outside wide receiver
where Calvin Redley can play outside or inside.
Robinson is inside.
Chim can play outside or inside.
I.O. is really more of an outside guy.
Tate can do a little bit of everything.
So you need somebody who's maybe more of a specialist on the outside.
And I think Bryce Oliver can play from the majority outside.
And he can be a great gunner and coverage guy on special teams units,
which again, that's where he's going to earn his roster spot.
So I actually think that Bryce Oliver ends up making this team six wide receivers at minimum.
Now, I am going to throw a little bit of a wild card in here.
I'm going to go with KJ. Osborne.
making this roster again a veteran.
Now, I am not as confident on the seventh wide receiver
and as we talk about the rest of the skill positions,
you'll see why.
I think there is an easy path here
where that seventh wide receiver is wiped off the board.
But I think you're looking at one of the undrafted free agents,
Xavier Restrepo or KJ Osborne.
I think they're going to want a big bodied wide receiver
who can play on the outside and also play on special teams.
And then they're going to want another slothor.
lot wide receiver in there as well. I think the Titans are going to want heavy numbers at
wide receiver. So if something doesn't happen that we're going to talk about here in a second,
I think that KJ Osborne gets the kind of final spot on offense is what I would call. I would say
KJ Osborne is the final guy that makes the offensive side of the ball. So seven wide receivers,
but I think the top five are locks and then everybody else is a big question mark. But I'll go with
Bryce Oliver more confident than KJ Osborne. But again,
Again, the math at wide receiver, very, very difficult.
Now, I think that quarterback is the next interesting spot
because we know Cam, we know Trubisky.
Are they going to be able to trade Will Levis?
Would they cut Will Levis?
You know, I have said,
I do not think that Will Levis will be on the team.
I don't.
But I'm not always right.
Sometimes I'm wrong.
And last year, as has been pointed out,
Brian Dable did keep three quarterbacks on the roster
with the Giants last year.
He had DART, of course,
and then James and Russell Wilson.
Now, that was a strange situation
because DART was a rookie, right?
It doesn't feel like that right now.
But maybe in a league where you need quarterbacks
and guys get hurt,
and maybe you do want to keep Levis on the roster
as you go throughout the season
to see if maybe somebody wants to trade for Will Levis
during the season if injuries hit.
Maybe the Titans don't want to give up the asset for nothing before the year
and they're willing to carry three.
If they do keep Will Levis,
and I'm wrong about Will Levis,
and Levis makes the roster and stays on the team into the regular season,
KJ Osborne's gone.
So that's kind of the dynamic there.
Those are the two guys that I think are interchangeable.
If the Titans keep three quarterbacks, it won't be Hendon Hooker.
It'd only be Will Levis.
Hendon Hooker is going to be on the practice squad if he stays around.
But if they keep Levis, they aren't keeping KJ Osborne.
And it would be Tate, Ridley, Robinson, Chim, I.O. and Oliver.
And then Cam Trubiskey Levis.
And then at running back, you have Pollard Spears Singleton.
I think those guys are locks.
Would they keep a fourth running back?
I think it would have to be for Spellors.
team's purposes.
That would be my lean, but maybe
maybe they want a guy who they just know
can run the football.
You're going to get special teams and other places.
Let's just make sure that we have,
the Titans are going to want to be a run-heavy team.
Spears has gotten hurt.
Singleton's gotten injured during college.
Tony Pollard might be breaking down.
I think I could see the Tennessee Titans
wanting to have good runners at running back.
So I'm going with Pollard Spears Singleton
and Michael Carter
who has been on Robert Salah teams before.
I think Michael Carter
would make a lot of sense.
Maybe Calell Mullins
with his special team's ability
finds a way to make it.
But I can just see Mullings being
he's been banged up a ton,
he's banged up during camp,
he can't get the reps,
he falls behind.
Carter is a veteran,
he's good on pass protection,
he can do multiple things,
he knows the offense,
is, you know, all that different stuff.
Having a veteran in there, like Michael Carter,
I can see that happening.
So that leaves Tide end.
Tide ends interesting.
Outside of the top two of Gunner Helm and Daniel Bellinger,
who in my opinion are locks to make the roster,
who the heck do you even want?
You know, Jaron Kanek,
who the Titans drafted in round seven,
obviously going to be an option.
should help on special teams, potential, you know, fullback option for the Titans to diversify
the offense can be a move tight end. But Joel Wilson,
Kylin Granson would probably be the favorite.
I mean, I'm looking at David Martin Robinson and Jaron Kanek and saying, why not go with
those guys? David Martin Robinson's a little bit bigger. 6-3-250.
can play on special teams.
Jaron Kanick is your project, rookie.
That's what I'm going with.
I would rather keep developing David Martin Robinson
than go with Kylin Granson.
Personally.
And Granson is an athletic move tight end
like Jaron Kanik,
but Kanek is six years younger
and has more fullback versatility.
And it's probably going to be better on special teams
because he used to be a linebacker.
So that's what I'm doing.
I'm going with
Tate Ridley, Robinson,
D.K., Iomanor, and Oliver,
and let's leave Osborne off.
So six wide receivers.
Cam, Trubiske, Levis,
at quarterback, because the Titans hold on
and try to get something. That's three there.
So six wide receivers, three quarterbacks.
Pollard, Spears, Singleton, and Carter,
four running backs, and then Helm Bellinger,
Kannick, and David Martin Robinson,
four tight ends.
That's what I'm doing there,
and I'm headed to the office.
offensive line and headed to the trenches.
Try to make sure that I'm full with the,
at the most important positions
in all of football.

Let's continue today's edition of the Locked on Titans podcast again, doing my 53 man roster predictions.
This is just my initial prediction as we go through the summer, obviously.
Things are going to change.
people are going to perform, stocks are going to go up and down.
We'll do updated ones throughout the process
until we get to my final 53-man roster prediction,
which will happen right before roster cut down day,
right before the season.
But again, want to know your guys' predictions.
What do you guys think?
Who do you think is going to make the roster play along?
Down below in the comments,
hit me up on social media,
hit me up in the Locked on Titans every day or group chat.
Speaking of that, thank you for making Locked on Titans

Tune in Monday through Friday.
Couldn't do it without you guys.
If you aren't an everydayer, you need to be one.
But again, we go to the trenches.
After having a lot of skill position talent,
three quarterbacks, four running backs,
six wide receivers, four tight ends.
That's 17 players.
Right there.
So, really, we have about eight or nine spots on offense.
And I'm going to go with eight.
The Titans are certainly going to have their starting five offensive linemen.
We know that's going to be Dan Moore and J.C. Latham attack.
We know that that is going to be Peter Skoransky at guard.
That's three.
Now, some combination of other guys is going to be two starter spots.
and then in my opinion,
you want to have a backup for each of those spots at minimum.
So how do we do this?
Well, let's do offensive tackle first
because we need one backup offensive tackle.
Is it going to be Austin Declis?
Is it going to be Brendan Crenshaw-Dixon in year two?
Is it going to be
Emil Wagner or Isaiah Miller
as an undrafted free agent this year?
In my opinion,
and I know that it's not fun
and it's not enjoyable to hear
but I think it's going to be Austin Declis.
I know that he was terrible
last year for the Chargers.
He is one of the worst
offensive linemen in recent memory.
There was a list that came out
that ranked the worst offensive tackle seasons
in the past, I don't know, 10 years
or something like that
and like Dennis Daley,
Andre Diller, Nicholas Petit for
all on the list in the top 10 for Titans.
Austin Declis last year for the Chargers was high up on the list as well.
So I'm not going to sit here and tell you that I think Austin Declis is good.
And I certainly hope that Brendan Crenshaw-Dixon are one of the undrafted free agent guys.
I certainly hope one of them can beat him out.
But here's the truth.
Offensive line coaches do not like to play around
with offensive tackle.
You don't want a rookie out there
You don't want an undrafted free agent out there
Declis may not be a good player
But he's a veteran
Who knows the cause
Has seen the fronts
Has started games in the NFL
And I think if one of your offensive tackles go down
You don't want Cam Ward
behind an undrafted free agent
rookie offensive tackle
Like that is
A true recipe for disaster
Now I wish
They would have gotten a
veteran offensive tackle.
I certainly do because Declos is terrible.
But I just think that the Titans
with their one backup offensive tackle spot,
and maybe this is where
maybe the Titans don't keep Michael Carter,
they only keep Pollard Spears, Singleton,
three running backs,
and then they keep a second offensive tackle
so they can keep one of those young guys
and keep developing them.
I think that is how the roster map could break out.
You know what I mean?
we take Pollard Spears, Singleton,
cut Michael Carter, Julius Chestnut,
any of those guys,
Kellell Mullings,
and we keep nine offensive linemen
so we can have two offensive tackles
and two interior backups.
That makes a lot of sense to me as well.
I can see that happening.
But I'm going to go with Declos right now.
Say the Titans keep eight offensive linemen,
more Latham Declis are your offensive tackles
and then you get to the interior.
And Slater,
Carmona
Volson.
It's going to be two of those three in my opinion.
Because you know you have Pete at guard.
So who's the other starting guard
and then who's the backup guard?
That's the question. That's the roster.
Question right there.
So,
in my opinion,
I'm going to go against
what I just said.
And I think that the Titans
drafting
to interior offensive
lineman is proof that they have more of an appetite for a young interior
offensive lineman than they would a young tackle.
I think that's why they waited to get undrafted free agent tackles
because they don't want to go with a rookie tackle as their backup
as their swing tackle, their backup offensive tackle.
They want to go with a veteran.
So we're not going to use draft capital on tackle
when we don't really think we're going to keep that guy around anyways
on the real roster.
but interior, I think, is different.
So I am going to go with
Slater as the starting right guard
and Fernando Carmona as the backup.
Now, maybe that's flipped.
Maybe Fernando Carmona is the starter,
and Slater is the backup.
But I'm going to say that the Titans keep
because I just do not think Cordell Vosson
is a good player.
Now, I think the purpose of Cordell Voson
is so that the young guys can beat him out
and see what a veteran
who's made starts and played in playoff games
and see what a guy like that is about
and beat him out.
That's why he's there.
But I think they do it.
I think Slater and Cormona
beat out Volson
and they take the roster spots.
Which brings us to center
and to me center is cut and dry.
It's Slotman and Coogan.
So you have more,
Latham and Deccles, Slater, Carmona, and Skoronsky, and then Shlopman and Coogan.
Eight offensive linemen to go with the 17 skill position players.
That's 25 on offense.
And then we move to defense.
And again, I think the Tennessee Titans want to be stacked out in the trenches.
I think they want real depth in the trenches.
That's why they paid so much attention to it.
The interior defensive line is simple to me.
There's a top four and then maybes.
Jeff, John Franklin Myers,
Jordan Elliott, Solomon Thomas.
Lock, lock, lock, lock.
But I think the Titans for certain
are going to want five or six at this spot.
So I think Jackie Marshall,
who I'm not certainly makes it.
There's Timmy Horn, C.J. Ravenow,
um, another option.
Cam Horsley
who Jackie Marshall are going to have to beat out.
But why wouldn't the Titans
drafted rookie
be able to beat out those guys?
He should.
He should be able to.
So I'll give Jackie Marshall that fifth spot
on the interior defensive line.
And then at the edge,
I think this is another spot where the Titans
might decide to go six deep.
but I'm going to have them with five.
Folk obviously going to make it if you want to...
He's kind of just D-line, but I'll put him in Edge.
Caldric Folk, Femi,
Germain,
and Jacob Martin, I think are locks to make it.
That's your four-man rotation
at edge for passing that.
But I've got to tell you,
you. I know that he may not be a perfect scheme fit,
and he was drafted by the previous regime,
and that is usually not a great sign.
But I think Jalen Harrell,
I think Jalen Harrell showed well last year,
he can play on special teams.
He was a really good special teams player.
Jalen Harrell is going to make this roster.
So five interior defensive linemen,
five Edge, with the 25 we had on offense.
Now we're up to 35.
As we go to the defensive back 7 and special teams, spots are dwindling.
Do you want to let you know that today's episode is brought to you by game time.

Again, doing my 53-man roster prediction,
my initial predictions here as we begin full team
off-season activities.
next week.
Cannot wait.
But again, we're up to 35 players.
We've done the offense, the defensive line.
Now we move to the defensive back seven and special teams.

But,
we go to linebacker.
Linebacker's interesting.
I have Cedric Gray
and Anthony Hill
as my only locks.
Period.
Nobody else is a lock to me.
Cody Barton,
I think he could be a surprise cut.
Muhammad Diabadi,
maybe.
James Williams, not from this regime.
A former seventh round pick,
there's no guarantee that he's going to stay around for multiple years.
It would not be a shock at all for them to prefer other linebackers
who they brought in here.
Like Manny Powell or Shad Banks or something.
One of those guys could absolutely beat out James Williams for a roster spot.
So, linebacker's tough.
but I'm going to go with
Cedric Gray, Anthony Hill
they keep Cody Barton
around for veteran leadership
Muhammad Diabati
who I think is their Sam linebacker
and then I think James Williams
does stay around.
He started making a name for himself
on special teams last year.
He was doing a good job.
He's got a great athletic skill set
that I think makes a ton of sense
for Robert Solid to want to develop.
No reason to get rid of James Williams
just yet.
So I think he takes the best.
fifth final spot.
But he is certainly going to be in a roster battle, in my opinion.
At cornerback, this is a spot where I'm concerned.
Again, bring in Kenny Moore, man.
You got Alate Taylor, Cordell Flot, Marcus Harris, Joshua Williams.
Joshua Williams, remember, 6 foot 3, 190-some pound, long cornerback that mostly
played special teams for Kansas City over the last few years.
probably a Mike Borgonzi.
Hey, I really like this guy
when I scouted him and got him in Kansas City.
Can you guys bring them on and make him into something?
I still believe.
But I think those four are the only ones.
This is where an undrafted free agent has a real chance.
Whether it's, you know, Lance McCutcheon, for example,
could find a way to make the roster here.
I think that would be an option.
I think this is a real area where the Titans could look to get somebody
off another team's cut.
I don't see five
keepable cornerbacks right now
and they need five or six.
So either one of these
undrafted free agent steps up
or the Titans are going to be looking to turn the roster
there at cornerback in my opinion.
At safety,
after the top three,
who knows?
Winston, Hooker, Tony Adams,
and then who?
Kendall Brooks,
Jerich Reed,
Sanussi Kane
like
Eric Hallett
Again, Jerich Reed
it's not a good group
and that's why
Bishop Fitzgerald
I think Bishop Fitzgerald makes the roster
undrafted free agent out of USC
I'm a big fan
so give me Winston Hooker Adams
and Fitzgerald
and then the Titans did decide to bring back
Jerich Reed after claiming him off waivers
I think he's a guy who can help on
special teams.
Jerich Reed.
I think there will be five safeties
when it's all said and done.
So that's five players
on the interior defensive line
at edge, at lineback,
at cornerback, at safety.
That's 25.
To go with the 25 that we
had on offense, we have our special
teamers as well, Morgan Cox,
Joey Slide, Tommy Townsend.
That's my 53-man roster prediction.
So again,
I'll have Levis
making it right now.
Bryce Oliver is a sixth wide receiver
Michael Carter is a fourth running back
Jared Kanick and D.M.R. as the two backup tight ends
outside of Helman Bellinger.
Eight offensive linemen with Austin Declis is the swing tackle.
Slater, Carmona, Slotman, and Coogan to go along with Skoronsky.
No Cordell Vosson.
Jeff, JFM, Elliott, Solomon Thomas,
and I'll have Jackie Marshall making it.
That'll be close though. He's a roster battle guy.
Femmy, Jermaine, Jacob Barton,
Jalen Harrell, who I think should make it, but he'll be battling.
Cedric Gray, Anthony Hill, Cody Barton, Muhammad Diabody,
James will be battling, but I think he makes it.
Taylor, Flaught, Harris Williams at cornerback,
give me Lance McCutcheon, the undrafted free agent,
but I don't think he ultimately wins that spot at the end of the day.
It'll be another veteran they pick up in sub-capacity.
Winston Hooker, Adams, Bishop Fitzgerald, the undrafted free agent,
Jerich Reed to play special teams,
slide towns and cocks on special teams.
That's my 53-man roster prediction.
You guys let me know your predictions,
what you think I got right,
what you think I got wrong down below.
It's scheduled time, folks.
