Locked On Titans - Daily Podcast On The Tennessee Titans - TENNESSEE TITANS DRAFT GRADES: Massive Future Potential, Cam Ward is an A & Day 3 Mixed Bag
Episode Date: April 27, 2025The Tennessee Titans drafted 9 players this weekend in what is meant to be a culture setter for the new era of Titans football, but with that comes a level of patience and fans need to see that these ...moves were with the future in mind, not 2025. Because of that, this draft gets a lower grade for right now, but a higher grader for 2026. Cam Ward is the belle of the ball in this class obviously, but for good reason and that's why the pick gets an A. However, the end of Day 3 was certainly a mixed bag even if the start was incredible. The Tennessee Titans 2025 NFL Draft is complete and I'm giving out a grade for the whole class
and each individual pick on today's edition of Locked on Titans.
You are Locked on Titans, your daily Tennessee Titans podcast, part of the Locked on Podcast
Network, your team every day.
Welcome to the Locked On Titans podcast.
I am your host, Tyler Roland, Titans fans.
Today's edition of the Locked On Titans podcast is brought to you by the all
new 2025 Nissan Armada.
Stay tuned for the Armada draft pick of the week later in the show.
On today's show, we are going to be giving out some draft grades.
I'm going to grade the Tennessee Titans draft as a whole.
And I'm going to explain why I'm giving the Titans two different
grades for this draft class.
We're also going to look at each trade the Titans made, then go
through every single pick and I'll give my each individual grade for
all of those picks as well.
Like to hear from you guys, let me know down below in the comments what grades you would give to each
of these picks. Hit me up on Twitter at Tic Tac Titans and let me know as well. Do want to thank
you guys for making Locked on Titans your first listen each and every day. Remember Monday through
Friday, Tennessee Titans content all year round, always for free. Make sure that you get subscribed,
stay subscribed.
It's your team every day here on the Locked on Titans podcast. We're going to be talking about
how these draft players fit within the Tennessee Titans system right now, how they can fit long
term later in the week. We're going to look at some winners and losers from the Titans draft
within the Titans ecosystem. So a ton of content still playing for you guys coming later this week.
And of course I got a ton of film content coming for all of these draft
picks over at the Tic Tac Titans film channel on YouTube.
But with that being said, we have to give a grade to the Titans draft as a whole,
the entire body of work so far.
Now, of course, one disclaimer, we're giving grades to a draft without these
guys ever playing football.
It is somewhat of an exercise in futility, if you're honest, because're giving grades to a draft without these guys ever playing football. It is somewhat
of an exercise in futility, if you're honest, because it's hard to know, but based on the value
of the player, based on how they fit with the Tennessee Titans, based on how the Titans utilized
the draft capital that they had, based on the needs that they filled, there are still grades to be
given based on what kind of performance we have seen from the Titans. And overall for me,
to be given based on what kind of performance we have seen from the Titans. And overall for me,
this draft has to have two separate grades.
It has to have a grade of what it will be right now and a grade of what I think it
will be in right now for 2025.
My grade for the Tennessee Titans is a B plus.
This draft for 2025 purposes is a B plus.
You get a guy like Cam Ward that buoys that grade by a B plus.
You get a guy like Cam Ward that buoys that grade
by a tremendous amount.
Cam Ward is gonna be able to come in day one
and elevate this franchise and elevate his teammates.
And the Titans quarterback play was so awful last year.
Again, 22 touchdowns, 21 interceptions
from the quarterback position.
The Titans quarterback play was so awful last year that just the improvement of
Cam Ward in 2025 from him being your quarterback, that's going to help you out
quite a bit. Okay? But there are realities to accept that Femi Oladejo is a
developmental player. He's probably not going to be the best version of himself
right away. He's a former off-ball linebacker. We'll talk more about Femi here in just a moment.
And then Kevin Winston, he should be ready to go for camp, but we've heard
all along and you see it play out all along guys are always significantly better.
Two years removed from an ACL tear as opposed to one.
So Kevin Winston, is it going to be at his absolute best right away this season?
Even if he's healthy and plays the whole year.
That's just not how these ACL recoveries tend to work. Okay. And then after that you look
DK can help you right away in the special teams area. Gunnar Helm, I think might be
other than Cam Ward, the most effective rookie this season, because I think Gunnar Helm is
going to come in right away and honestly be the Tennessee Titans number one most used tight end.
I think Josh Wiley's time is going to be significantly reduced and Chigga Conquo is a different type of player than what Gunnar Helm is.
Gunnar Helm is a guy who I think fits what the Tennessee Titans offense wants to be a little bit more because the Titans want to play in three wide receiver.
So Helm is a guy who I think is going to help you right away, which helps this grade as well, Jackson Slater, Marcus Harris, you know, uh,
Superman Mullings, like, I don't know if those guys are going to have a
major impact right away.
I think Mullings has the best chance to have a major impact right away on
special teams, whether it be as a potential returner, which he's done or in coverage units, which I think is much more likely.
And I think that Mullings might lead this list in touchdowns other than Cam Ward.
Of course, like I could see Mullings scoring four or five touchdowns this
year on short yardage goal line situations, and then Gunnar Helm having,
you know, two, three, four or something like that as a rotational tight end.
So when you look at what DK can do on special teams, what helm can do for
the offense, what Mullings can do on special teams and then Cam Ward
B plus for 2025, but then you look at the future and that's really
where I think this draft class is going to make its bones and that
that may not be satisfactory to some
Tennessee Titans fans like wait a minute.
You're telling me that you know, this draft is not going to help them max
ability in 2025 and I've continued to say the month leading up to the draft
during draft weekend after the draft.
I'll continue say it.
This draft was about setting the culture.
This is about getting high character players.
Who have high floors because of that character.
Like Femi Oladejo is going to be at minimum a top three edge rusher on the team.
At minimum for the next four years is going to be a top three edge rusher on the team.
So it's a it's a high floor, high character draft that is meant to set the culture
for the Tennessee Titans going forward into the new cam cam ward era of Tennessee Titans football.
They're totally remaking the locker room here with a young group of guys that
love football.
So when you look at the future and what I think Femiola DeGio is going to be,
I believe, I believe in Femiola Deagio. That has been one of my guys
throughout the process all along. I know a lot of people don't like the pick. They don't like the
value, but I do. I believe in Femiola Adagio, even while acknowledging that the development
required will probably not have him be his best version of himself right away. It may take a year
and a half for him to really
take off. I'm going to have patience. You guys won't, but I will. I'm not letting go of the rope
on Femi. Full believe. Okay. So with the high upside of Femi Oladejo, I think Kevin Winston
could be one of the top 10 safeties in the entire NFL in his second year.
in his second year. The chemistry that Helm and Cam are going to have together,
like Jackson Slater I think may be a long-term starter for this team on the interior offensive line. Again, two grades are required in my opinion. The grade for what this draft class is in 2025,
which to me is a B plus, and then when we get to what this draft class will be in my opinion, and that's
an A, I think this is going to be an A draft class for the Titans because I
believe in the development of Femi Oladejo.
I believe in Kevin Winston coming back healthy in the player that he is on tape.
And I believe in some of these day three picks and what they can be as role
players for the Titans as they set their culture.
Now with that in mind, we do got to talk about these two trades that the Tennessee Titans made
during the draft. The first trade they trade back from 35, 52 and 82. I'm giving that an A minus.
The fact that they didn't have to give up a day three pick to make this deal when precedent in
previous draft classes and previous drafts that I've gone over with you, teams have had to pay a day three sweetener.
Now, I give it an A minus, not an A plus, because they did drop all the way back to 52 and there were about, I would say, two to three players that I was like, dang, they missed out on them.
Trevion Henderson, Luther Burden.
So with that in mind, I give it an A-.
Now the second trade the Titans made, 141 and 178,
for 136 and 183 to come up and get Elec, Io Minor,
Io Manor, who will ever know that's an a plus again.
I don't know why the Ravens did that trade.
They just gave the Titans free value, but we'll take it and the fact
that they made the trade to come up and get I am manner.
Knock it out of the park.
That's an a plus for the Tennessee Titans, but now let's talk about
each individual pick.
Do want to let you guys know that today's episode is brought to you by Game Time.

Let's continue today's draft grade edition of the locked on Titans fans. Let's continue today's draft grade edition of the Locked on Titans podcast.
I looked at the Tennessee Titans draft as a whole, what it means for 2025 and then what
it means for the future and the different grades that I would give. Looked at the trades
and I want to look at each individual pick. Again, I encourage you guys to play along
with me down below in the comments or hit me up on Twitter at tic tac Titans
Let me know your grades for the draft and for each individual player
But we got to start of course with kill a cam cam ward
I give this an a this is obviously an a grade for me
The Tennessee Titans did what they needed to do here the best quarterback the clear best quarterback in the class
What I think is a top 10 player in this class.
Cam Ward checks all the box for the Tennessee Titans.
And again, I remind you, this is the Joe Burrow path.
This is exactly the path.
Zach Taylor gets hired.
They're absolutely terrible.
They get the number one pick.
They set their culture.
They get their franchise quarterback.
And then the run begins.
And I believe that with Brian Callahan, we're going to see something very similar.
Here, we're going to see the Titans first year, new head coach, terrible, went awful.
Tried to thread the needle of the past and the future didn't work.
Came crumbling down.
Then you accept your fate.
You get your franchise quarterback, you set your culture and you start your build.
That's what I think is happening right now.
And cam ward being at the center of that to me, this is an absolute A.
And here's what I would say.
Also,
I have been asked
early in the draft process, January, early February, you didn't like
Cam Ward very much or you didn't want quarterback.
You one of the titans. How can you now say that this is an ad? Well, can I explain for a quick moment how this
process works? So I am breaking down Tennessee Titans film throughout the entire season. I can't
break down the film of every college player in the draft during the NFL season. I have a job to do,
and that's to cover the Tennessee Titans. But I watch college football and I see some things,
a little film breakdown here from quarterback guru, former NFL quarterback here.
But okay.
All right.
I see what they're saying.
All right.
Great.
Hey, that's how I feel about Ken Ward right now.
And then we get in the lab from February to April.
We get in the lab.
We watch every game.
I watch every game of Ken Ward season at Miami and seeing him execute concepts
that the Tennessee Titans run consistently and seeing him hit the backside dig and seeing him operate
the two man front side concepts and read the zone defense and find the holes and
do all the things that Brian Callahan wants to do on offense to see that.
That's what changes your mind on something like that.
That's where you go from, Hey, here was my initial thought.
And then after my full amount of research is concluded, now I see the vision and I understand.
So that's why early in the process, I'm saying, hey, I don't think Kim Ward is as good of a fit.
Hey, I don't. Well, now that I've watched every single game of Kim Ward's three times on tape with the all 22,
I feel, of course, this is an absolute A for the Tennessee Titans, whether it be now or in the future.
Now we move to Femi Oladeja.
Alright, controversial pick. I think this is the pick that most Tennessee Titans fans are the most unsure of.
I think if you look at the Titans draft class and you say, which pick do Titans fans not like? It's Femi.
And listen, last year in the second round, there was a pick that I didn't like.
I'm sure all of you guys remember.
And I've taken my deserved heat for being wrong about that,
or at least being wrong right now.
I better get the opposite when Femi goes crazy.
When the Titans develop Femi Oladejo into the player that I know that he can be,
I better get just as much credit as the hate that I got for being wrong about Sweat because I'm
seeing a lot of, not just the fans, other people who cover the team, this and that saying
this was a bad pick.
It's bad value.
It's this and that.
I'm on Femi Island.
Remember I was the guy that's on Femi Island.
It was on, I believe in Femi Oladejo.
And that is why I'm giving the pick a B plus.
All right.
Listen, I think again, long-term Femi Oladejo is going to be the,
I think he's a number two rusher for the Tennessee Titans.
He is a very good number two power rusher.
I still think they need, I don't think that Femi Oladejo is going to be
their elite number one pass rusher.
He's got that potential.
Don't get me wrong.
But I think he settles in as a very solid number two edge rusher
for the Tennessee Titans.
That's where I think he goes.
But the reality is you're going to have to wait a year on that.
In my opinion, Femi is going to be needing severe development. It's not going to be a red shirt year because he's going to be able to come in, in my opinion. Femi is gonna be needing severe development.
It's not gonna be a red shirt year
because he's gonna be able to come in,
set the edge with power.
He's got violent hands popping his hands.
He's gonna be able to play on early downs.
And I think he's gonna be a rotational guy
on pass rushing downs
because he has such great motor and effort.
And I think the first thing the Titans are gonna do
is work on that speed to power.
He's got such power and such strength in his hands and his lower body.
And then the explosiveness where he jumps off the line of scrimmage, man,
it's like a track star bursting out on the blocks.
It's incredible that explosiveness, that length, that raw power.
If the Titans get a good speed to power
move where he bursts off the line of scrimmage, hands in your chest, drive you
back, not necessarily a bull rush, but you got to get that speed up
and then power them backwards.
I think he can be an effort cleanup guy in the pass rush as a rotational guy early.
And then down the road, he can be a solid starting level player who I think is
capable of everything that Harold Landry was capable at his best 10 sacks a year.
Great against the run,
versatility to drop back in the coverage.
To me, this is a more powerful Harold Landry.
And I love the pick at 21 years old with the development and the character
that he brings to the table. So that's a B plus for me, because I'm acknowledging that the 20, 25 returns
may not be what folks hope from a second round pick.
And then when he does get to what his peak is, I think that it's still not the
elite number one rusher the Titans need.
Hopefully they're able to get that at some point in the draft in the next few
years, as we build to a deep run in the playoffs in 2027, but Kevin Winston.
Next guy I want to talk about here.
The Kevin Winston pick for me
is an A minus.
I think Kevin Winston could become a number one safety top of the market, top tier, top
five, top 10 safety in the NFL.
He's got all the characteristics to do it.
6'1", 215, so you have great size from the safety position.
21.4 years old, so he's still young
enough to develop. That's what I love about Winston and Oladejo, but those guys are only 21
years old. Like they haven't grown into their full man bodies that when they're 23, 24, they haven't
developed entirely with their mental abilities and their information and their technique.
These guys are such good players right now, but also have so much ability to grow and the
ceiling is so high here. I
Can't wait to put out my Kevin Winston video on Monday
He is just a menace and run defense comes downhill smacks you great tackler his length his speed
He is agility so great at getting guys on the ground. He does not miss tackles
He has agility so great at getting guys on the ground. He does not miss tackles
He's got great speed to play in coverage. I really like the way that he's able to sink down into zones I don't think that Kevin Winston should be a guy you want playing back free safety a ton
Even though he did at Penn State
I think Kevin Winston is a guy that you want playing forward in zone
You want him to you like if he's a safety as a deep half you want him to roll
down into a buzz or roll into a curl flat you want him to drive forward on plays you want him to be a
a linebacker in passing situations where he can drop into a hook or a hook zone like that's what
you want i think you want him playing in the intermediate range and coming forward where he
can use his length and his instincts uh and his and his, and his strength and his hip power, all of that.
But the reality with Kevin Winston is he's another guy who's going to need some development.
I think he has terrible awareness and coverage. He just does not understand route concepts.
He's got spatial awareness issues where when he's in zone coverage, he's too close to his teammates
or he's not properly spaced out.
And I think that's something that has to be coached up. And there's going to be a ton of
film study to be like, Hey, this is the point that you get to, Hey, look, these are the route
concepts. When you see this, there are some plays where he's playing free safety in the back end at
Penn State. And again, I wouldn't use him in this way consistently at the NFL level, but there's
vertical routes, whether it be a deep crossing route or a post or something like that or a deep in route.
And he just doesn't, when he realizes that's what it is, he's kind of clunky with his feet
to transition from backpedaling to going forward.
It makes him a beat slow.
And then he can also just kind of take a bad angle to it because of his spatial awareness And then he's another beat slow and it could just you know get him out of position
So there are some mental things to clean up obviously coming back from the ACL
But I think Kevin Winston with his size his length his speed his tenacity and what he can do with the catch point
I think he has a chance to be a top safety in the NFL and a real playmaker
And that's why it's an A-grade for me
But we got six guys to talk about and I'm gonna throw in a seventh guy an undrafted free agent
I'm gonna give a grade to as well
Do you want to let you guys know that today's episode is brought to you by the
2025
Nissan Armada and the Armada pick of the week.
This week we're highlighting the top pick from the Titans draft,
the one selection that truly stood out, the guy who showcased the strength and power
to push the Titans forward as we look ahead to next season.
And of course, this week's Armada clear-cut top pick of the draft is Cam Ward.
Who else could it be? Look, Cam Ward is rugged.
Cam Ward is heavy duty. He's a playmaker. He's clutch. Okay. And it's clear that the Titan's
top pick of the draft is out here ready to conquer the road ahead with confidence, just like you can
in the all new Nissan Armada or any of their outstanding vehicles. Take the Nissan Armada, the Rogue or the Pathfinder and go find your next big adventure. Make sure that you shop NissanUSA.com
Titans fans. Let's cap off today's draft grade edition of the locked on Titans podcast.
We've looked at the draft as a whole, the trades.
We've looked at the first three picks of the draft.
Now I got to get into the last six picks and I'm going to throw in a bonus undrafted free
agent grade as well.
Before we get into it, do want to thank you for making the locked on Titans podcast.
Your name is the lock on titans.
I'm going to be giving away a free agent grade.
I'm going to be giving away a free agent grade. I'm going to be giving the last six picks and I'm going to throw in a bonus undrafted free agent grade as well.
Before we get into it, do want to thank you for making the locked on Titans
podcast, your first listen each and every day, again, Monday through Friday,
Tennessee Titans content all year round, always for free.
Make sure that you get subscribed, stay subscribed.
It's your team every day, but we start.
With Chim DK, The wide receiver out of Florida.
And I'm giving this one a C plus.
Okay.
I like Chim D.K.
And I think the reaction to the pick was overdone.
Great size at six foot, 206 pounds, 22 years old.
And this guy has incredible speed.
Like, um, D.K.
is just a speed demon, a pure freak in that sense
of four, three 40 great speed on the film too.
It really matches up.
Like you can tell this guy is a speedster and that's why he's so good on vertical
routes, especially deep crossing routes and a post corner routes where he fakes
the corner route and breaks back into the post, uh, crossing routes as well.
Like I just said, he's going to do so well with cam war because what he does
well as a wide receiver is what fits cam war is a vertical passer.
So I think that's great.
The reason I'm giving DK a C plus, despite the speed, the vertical fit,
the ability that he could be a returner for the Titans as well,
which I think is underrated.
The reason I'm giving it a C plus is because who else was on the board?
Jalen Royals was still on the board.
Well, I think would be a better player and a more immediate impact on the
Tennessee Titans offense at a position that they really need help at.
Cam Scataboo was still on the board.
And look, I know the Titans ended up with Superman Mullings and I'm excited
about that, but talking about Cam Scataboo here, like that would have been exciting. That would have been helpful. That would have been
awesome
Braden Swenson who look Braden Swenson is one of my guys
I was hyping him up as a top six edge rusher and he didn't go until like
140 130 to the Patriots or something like that, which you know, like the Patriots draft other than Will Campbell, but
Braden Swenson was still on the board. He could have doubled down with six foot three power edges
Jack Sawyer would have been a high character locker room guy with power
Quincy Riley at cornerback
You know, there were other guys there
So I like the dk pick and I think that titans fans overreacted
guys there. So I like the DK pick and I think that Titans fans overreacted to it and the speed and the versatility and the fit with Cam Ward that he brings along with the character.
I think that's great. But to me, it's not about DK. It's about Royal's, Scataboo, Swinson.
You know what I mean? That's really where it's at. And it ends up, in my opinion, the Titans ended
up getting a better wide receiver who can help the Titans more immediately two picks later
So it's like
I guess they could have afforded to go a different direction
But if you're the Titans, you don't know how things are going to break out. So maybe you're like hey
We're getting our wide receiver now. We're getting a high character guy with speed. We need speed on this team
I get it the next pick the next pick
Absolutely love B plus for me, Gunnar Helm at pick number one 20 love this
pick six foot five, 245 pounds, 22 years old. He is going to be cam words.
Best friend, his ability to sit in a zone and feel where to be his ability to win
at the catch point, jump over somebody, adjust his body to sit in a zone and feel where to be, his ability to win at the catch point,
jump over somebody, adjust his body to the ball. I have compared Gunnar Helm to a prime Austin Hooper.
Austin Hooper when he was with the Falcons, not the Titans, Austin Hooper, although Austin Hooper
was okay as a role playing Titan for the Titans. It wasn't a disaster or anything like that. But Austin Hooper is a player for the Falcons.
Is he an elite athlete?
No, he's not.
Is he an elite blocker blowing people off the ball?
No, not necessarily, but he's a guy with good size,
really good understanding of where to be,
really help a quarterback by sitting in the right spots and reading things.
And then when the ball was away from his body,
he was able to adjust to the ball, have good body control, good hands and make a play.
And that's what you're going to get from Gunnar Helm who has great hands. And look, he's not the best blocker in the world.
I had somebody say like, he's not a traditional tight end. I go back, I said this yesterday, but I go back to Dave Ziegler, Titans Assistant General Manager, who spoke on Saturday after the first
two picks. And he said, there aren't tight ends in the NFL that are great blockers anymore.
There's like a handful, like two or three, four guys who are truly balanced tight ends
who aren't just like your tight end three who comes in the block, like Jeff Swain type of guys, Nick Van Et type of guys, not you, you know,
like George Kittle, Mark Andrews, you know, there aren't, there's only like three guys,
even Travis Kelsey ain't that Travis Kelsey isn't an incredible blocker. He's just a willing blocker
who's smart and good with his technique. And that's what Gunnar Helm can be. Yes. He's 245 pounds.
He's got to add weight. The Titans said that at the draft press conference,
they said he's got to add weight. And, but Dave Ziegler said like,
tight end is the one position on the football field that you are always going
to be overmatched. There's three or four guys in the NFL who want a tight end
going against a defensive end is going to be overmatched.
So you're not going to be physically great.
It's not like they're looking for a left tackle.
They need a guy who's willing, who's willing to be physical and block,
which not all tight ends are.
And also who is big enough and can add weight as a 22 year old that they can
be strong enough to hold their own.
That's what they're looking for.
And especially in the Brian Callahan spread West coast with three
wide receiver looks nonstop. You just need a tight end that can hold their own. That's what they're looking for. And especially in the Brian Callahan spread west coast with three
wide receiver looks nonstop.
You just need a tight end that can hold their own.
So concerns about Gunnar Helm not being a good enough blocker to me is nonsense.
I would say that he's the Titans tight end one immediately.
Immediately.
He is the number one tight end on the team.
Chicka Conkla is more explosive and more valuable, but as for a.
Three down tight end.
I think my hot take here is that Gunnar Helm plays the most snaps of any
tight end on the Titans this year.
That's how immediate I think his impact can be even if it's hot.
He's not going to be George Kittle.
He's not going to be Travis Kelsey.
He's not.
So the high end upside maybe isn isn't there but the immediate impact is
Absolutely great gunner helm B plus for me and I'm trying it
Alec
Io manner Alec Io manner the wide receiver out of Stanford is an a
The value the Titans got here. I got if you told me that the Titans got Io manner
and Titans got here? I got if you told me that the Titans got IO manner and Femiola Dezio as their two day two picks. I would have been cool. If you
said the Titans traded back to 52 and they picked up 82 and they took IO
manner at 52 and they took Femiola Dezio at 82. I would be like, all
right, cool, cool, good draft, good start. Them with Cam, I like that.
I like that a lot.
I don't manner is not even 22 years old yet.
He's 6'1".
He's 207 pounds.
He has great size, great length.
He runs smooth routes for a guy his size.
Great feeling zone.
Again, great feeling zone.
Another thing that he hasn't common with Gunnar Helm. length. He runs smooth routes for a guy his size. Great feeling zone. Again, great feeling zone.
Another thing that he has in common with Gunnar Helm. He is a devastating blocker on the perimeter
and he shows incredible flashes to win in contested catch situations in Malshu.
Look, there's a little bit of a drops issue. No doubt. He's not an explosive athlete. His
body adjustments to balls away from his frame,
his tracking of deep balls, him at the catch point, he needs to be stronger to take advantage
of his gifts. There are reasons he dropped where he did, but to get gunner, but to get
I-O manner at one 36 when I would have been cool with taking him in day two, that is an
A grade all day. No doubt. No question about it. Now
I'm going to fly through some of these late round picks. Jackson Slater is a B to me.
Usually with day three, like late day three picks, sixth and seventh rounders, I just go C plus,
C plus, C plus, C plus, because you don't know it's a dark throw expecting any of these guys
to be anything like six and seven rounders barely even make rosters
But Jackson Slater, I believe it I give Jackson Slater a B
I think he really can be a starter for the Titans down the road or at least their primary
interior offensive line backup
So I think he has a role with this franchise going forward
So I think he has a role with this franchise going forward. The pick that I really didn't like was Marcus Harris.
At a cow. It's a D minus for me. This is a terrible pick.
I hate the Marcus Harris pick.
5'10", 189 pounds. He's 24 years old.
What are we doing?
You know? He has great speed.
He can recover.
He's a willing tackler.
He's played a ton of special teams coverage units.
So that's why they did it.
They're like, Hey, we want a guy who has a ton of experience covering, you know, covering
on kicks.
We're trying to make the special teams unit better.
I get it.
But he's tiny has terrible.
He's a 24 year old guy who has terrible awareness the mental aspect of playing cornerback. He has no clue and he's 24 years old.
He's incredibly over aggressive. It's so easy to bait him and to trick him and to fool him. He's all over the place over aggressive doesn't know what he's doing.
All that stuff if he's 21
Sure, but 24 years old and the biggest problem with your game is your mental
Because you don't know what you're doing. You have no instincts. You can't read in your 24
Marcus Harris ain't making this roster. That's a waste of a pick
And then finally Superman Mullins, that's the last draft pick here I give this one a B
again, I like, typically I give a C plus to these late of picks, but
Mullings fit with the Titans because of what Tajay Spears and Tony
Pollard are, and then the big powerful 6'1", 226 pound guy that Mullings is
with his ability in special teams as a returner, which he's done a ton of
throughout his life, but also in coverage units. We're talking about a 6'1", 226 pound, yoked up freak, who's a former linebacker.
He is going to be awesome on special teams.
He's going to give you return ability if you want to take advantage of that.
So typically I would give a late pick like this a C-plus because shoot, it's a dark throw.
If he even makes the team, it'll be great.
But I'm convinced that Mullings, Superman will make this team
and he will make an impact year one for the Titans.
Even if it's small as a role player, I truly believe that
that Kellele Mullings is going to make this team and make an impact.
And the last guy that I want to talk about is Xavier Restrepo.
The Tennessee Titans did it.
They brought home Xavier Restrepo as an undrafted free agent
to pair him with Cam Ward.
I guarantee you that he makes this roster.
I cannot wait to see Restrepo and Cam Ward get it back together.
There's just something about their connection that's special.
I know that he doesn't have great athleticism.
I know the 4'8", 40", that he was super banged up.
He was saying that he runs like a 4'5", 4'6".
Is that a lie to try to help him get drafted?
I don't know.
But watching him on tape, he's way, way too good of a player to not have been
drafted at all. But Hey, it's a blessing for the Tennessee Titans to pair those two guys together.
And that is why I give the undrafted free agent signing of Xavier Restrepo and a plus, no question about it. So B plus, immediate grade for the Titans overall class,
A minus grade for 2026 and beyond.
I gave Cam Ward an A, Femiola Dejo a B plus,
Kevin Winston an A minus, Chim Dike a C plus,
Gunner Helm a B plus, Elec Io Manor and a Jackson Slater, a B Marcus Harris, a D minus
Superman, Mullings, a B and Xavier Restrepo as a UDFA and a plus. Again, can't wait to hear what you
guys got to say, but that's going to do it for me today. Folks, as always, I am your host Tyler Tyler Rowan, and this was Locked on Titans.
