Locked On Titans - Daily Podcast On The Tennessee Titans - TENNESSEE TITANS FREE AGENCY PREDICTIONS & LATEST NEW, RUMORS AND INTEL ON TITANS BIGGEST TARTGETS
Episode Date: March 8, 2026FREE AGENCY HAS ARRIVED!!!! The Tennessee Titans step into Monday with nearly $100 million in cap space and should be looking to make a BIG SPLASH. Help is needed at wide receiver and names like Wan'D...ale Robinson, Alec Pierce and Romeo Doubs are all viable options. Outside of receiver, expect the Titans to make a big move at linebacker with Devi Lloyd potentially making sense, but Tremaine Edmunds also fits the bill. Defensive line needs some help as well and John Franklin-Myers continues to make the most sense, but the Titans need help at edge too and will likely go value shipping there. Offensive line is still a massive concern though as center and right guard remain open, but with center options dwindling, Tyler Linderbaum is the only top option remaining on the board. The Titans need depth across the board and it may not happen fast, but expect the Titans to look for nearly 10 players to add. There is talk the Titans are still connected to Kenneth Walker and Trey Hendrickson as well, but there is a leverage aspect involved that must be recognized. Locked on Titans but with that being said again I think the Tennessee Titans go out and make three
big time splashes in free agency
I have said throughout the season into the all season I think the Titans use their cap space to go with two or three
big time deals and then some depth behind it. And my number one big time splash sonny
is Wondale Robinson at wide receiver. Look, this is the worst kept secret in the NFL right now
basically everybody in the NFL since the combine had been talking about Wondell
Robinson to the Tennessee Titans. The 5 foot 8 slot wide receiver coming over from the New York
Giants again I think it's an absolutely fantastic fit. Not only has he been incredibly
productive 90 plus catches and back-to-back seasons.
went for 1,000 yards last year, but the fit is perfect.
And it's not the same type of player as the Titans have on the roster.
Chimdeka, more of a vertical guy.
We know Elyke Iommanner, a big physical, taller wide receiver.
Calvin Ridley is more of that Z outside wide receiver with speed that can play in the slot.
But that pure slot receiver that can win with leverage, quick against man coverage,
find the hole in the zone, keep the chains moving.
The Titans simply don't have that on the roster right now.
and Wondell Robinson fits that role perfectly.
I'm going to have them at three years, $65 million with $45 million guaranteed.
Look, some people may say that is an overpay for a smaller slot-wide receiver,
but here's the reality.
We're rich.
If you have $10 billion and you overpay by a million on a car that you like,
is that an overpay?
Things are only an overpay if it prevents you or hurt you in some other way from
spending your money. And at the end of the day, I do not believe that the Tennessee Titans are going
to overpay for Wondell Robinson. Let me say this. There are some out there saying that, you know,
the Titans don't have a wide receiver one. Wondell Robinson, he's their wide receiver one. How can
you have it? He's not a wide receiver one. There aren't 32 wide receiver ones in the NFL. And here's
the reality. Just because the Titans don't have a wide receiver one doesn't mean that they shouldn't
keep adding good players to the roster. So yes, they need a true number one wide receiver.
Wondell Robinson isn't that, but he is a good player and the Titans need more good players
at wide receiver and on this roster in general. So I'm tired of seeing people say he's a wide receiver
one because he's about to get paid good money. No, Alec Pierce isn't a number one wide
receiver either and he's going to get paid more. But just because the Titans aren't getting
a number one wide receiver doesn't mean that they shouldn't add good players.
So Wondale Robinson.
And look, there are reports out there that the Titans are interested in Wondale Robinson,
Alec Pierce, Romeo Doves.
There's even one that was for Mike Evans.
Guys, one thing that we all need to realize is
the Titans have the most cap space,
the second most, the third most cap space in the NFL
heading into free agency depending on where you look.
The Titans are going to be used as leverage
because they have the money to pay these guys.
So if, you know, Mike Evans wants to go to the Buffalo bills
or go back to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers
and he isn't getting the offers that he wants.
His agent just has a league,
well, the Tennessee Titans are interested
and they will pay him
what you're not willing to pay him
and that might give them some leverage
to get more money.
Now, some people will be like,
oh, I'm tired of being used as leverage.
Quite honestly, if I was Mike Borganzi,
I would say, yeah, use me as leverage.
And when I do want to do a deal
with one of your clients down the road,
remember that I did you a favor
and let you use me as leverage.
So every opportunity in life,
you can gain something from.
So I'm not even mad if the Titans are used as leverage.
And if I'm Mike Borganzi and I don't want Mike Evans,
I would tell Mike Evans agent, yeah, use us as leverage.
We're going after Wondell Robinson anyway.
It's not going to hurt us any.
Go ahead.
Like, that's just a good way to play the relationship game.
Now, outside of Wondell Robinson, John Franklin Myers.
Now, I got to tell you,
I'm less confident in JFM joining the Titans today
than I was a week ago at this time
when Jermaine Johnson and Tanzel Smart and Sebastian Joseph Day are all interacting with John Franklin Myers on the internet and stuff like that.
Like he's going to get a big time back and there are reports out there.
He'll get 20 million per year.
But honestly, I'm willing to pay it.
I'm going to give John Franklin Myers three years, $60 million with $40 million guaranteed.
And you know what?
If the Titans don't go after Wondale Robinson, I think they're going to get Romeo Dobbs.
If they don't get John Franklin Myers, I think they're going to go.
way further down the board value-wise and get a Ytergros Matos or a Logan Hall.
But for my money, the fit is there, the need is there.
It's a perfect, perfect chance for the Titans to make an elite defensive line for Robert
Sala.
I do believe that they come away with Wondale Robinson and John Franklin Myers.
And honestly, you know, I'm not taking big risk with those.
We have heard connections between those two players and the Titans
throughout the last couple of weeks of the rumor mill of free agency.
but here's the big swing.
The third big-time splash contract
that I have the Titan signing
is Devin Lloyd,
linebacker from the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Devin Lloyd fits perfect
in the middle of the Tennessee Titans defense.
He is a freak athlete.
He is tall.
He has long 33-inch arms.
He can man the zone defense over the middle,
close the holes in the zone.
I think the Titans go big here
and get a linebacker
who they can put in.
in the middle of the defense for years to come.
He's 26 years old, perfectly fits the timeline.
And you have a guy like Devin Lloyd, who is long and athletic and is great in coverage.
And you pair him with Cedric Gray, who is young and is cheap
and is a physical specimen coming downhill to take away holes in the run game,
to get ball carriers on the ground.
Both of them are good blitzers.
I think Cedric Gray and Devin Lloyd together can make one of the best linebacker pairings
in the entire NFL, and we know that Robert Sala truly values Sala.
Sala?
Sound like my TikTok captioned translations there,
but we know that Robert Sala, Bobby Salsa,
values the linebacker position immensely.
So if you have John Franklin Myers, Jeffrey Simmons,
Jermaine Johnson, Femiola Daseo,
a guy that you get in the draft,
add another cheap veteran who we're going to talk about
as depth at the edge as well.
You have Jalen Herald still in there
who had a breakout year for being a depth guy last year.
You have Cedric Gray.
You have Devin Lloyd at linebacker.
Your front seven is absolutely phenomenal.
So, whereas Wondale Robinson and John Franklin Myers aren't really controversial or hot takes or nobody's saying this.
Devin Lloyd is a guy that I have by eye on and I think the Titans go out and get him.
Now, if they don't go get Devin Lloyd, I think Tremaine Edmonds or Bobby O'Caric.
are the immediate answers for the Titans with Edmonds being significantly higher.
I think Edmonds makes a ton of sense.
But I'm going to go with Devin Lloyd as one of the Titans splash signings.
And I think the Titans give Devin Lloyd about $18 million per year.
And again, about $35 to $40 million guaranteed.
So Wondale Robinson, John Franklin Myers,
Devin Lloyd, those are my big splash signing predictions.
Let me know your free agency predictions.

or all my folks in the Locked on Titans
Every Day or Club, which you should be in,

But the Titans are going to need more than three free agent signings.
They need to add some value veteran depth.
And I have them doing that at some key positions like Edge
and like cornerback where the Titans desperately need more help.
Do want to let you know that today's episode is brought to you by indeed.

Fans, let's continue today's edition of the Locked on Titans podcast doing my official free agency predictions.
We did Wondale Robinson at wide receiver, John Franklin Myers, on the defensive line, and Devin Lloyd at linebacker.
But now we go to more value depth at positions of need.
And we start with edge rusher.
And this is a name that I've been talking about for, you know, the past couple of weeks or the last 10 days or so, you could say.
but Kingsley and Igbore is going to be my choice at edge rusher.
Now, is he an elite level edge like Adafay O.A.
Or like, you know, Jalen Phillips or Trey Hendrickson?
No, he is not that.
But I think the Titans, again, are going to go with their big-time signings
at wide receiver defensive line with John Franklin Myers.
And then also Devin Lloyd.
So that means that the other signings have to be more about quality veteran depth.
And that's what the Titans are going to get with Enigbore.
Again, I remind you, San Francisco almost traded for Enigbore
last year at the trade deadline,
which means that Robert Salah had his eye on Enigbore as an option.
He's 6 foot 4, 260 pounds.
So the size, the strength that the Titans are looking for
out of their big edge rushers, he fits that bill.
Still only 26 years old.
So a guy that fits the timeline for the Titans,
I think he's going to get three years,
$20 million is what I would say for a guy like Kingsley and Iqvare.
Again, the Titans aren't going to break the bank there
because they already have their three big splash signings
that we talked about in the first segment.
So I think that is a route that the Titans will go.
They're going to look for some veteran options in free agency
that don't break the bank that do fill positions of need.
And I think Kingsley and Igbore does that.
If the Titans don't get Anigboreh, my number two choice would be quitty pay.
But do want to mention here that we're hearing now,
according to a report from Paul Kaharski,
that the Titans may be interested in Trey Hendrickson.
And I got to tell you, I go back to the point I made in the first segment about leverage.
I think that a lot of these teams are going to be saying,
oh, the Titans are interested all of a sudden here at the end as a way to boost up the price.
I do not believe, again, I've told you from what I've heard, from the reports I've seen.
I do not believe that the Titans are seriously courting Trey Hendrickson.
I don't think it's going to happen.
I think more of a value ad like QuitiPay or, again, my prediction, Kingsley and Iqvare makes more sense there.
Now we move to cornerback where the Titans certainly need a ton of help.
And this was tougher for me.
I want a guy like Alante Taylor.
I want a guy like Tarek Woolen.
I really do.
A Jalen Watson as well makes a ton of sense.
But I'm just not going to be foolish enough to think that the Titans can go out there
and give a contract to all of these different people.
It's just simply not going to happen.
So I think like with Edge, the Titans go with more value veteran depth at the cornerback position.
And I think they're going to go with two different people.
the number one guy that I want to see them go get
if they don't get the top guys on the market
like Taylor, Wollin, and Watson.
I want to see him go get Buster Brown,
Monteric Brown from the Jacksonville Jaguars.
I just think he's such a great fit for what they need.
6 foot 190, 31 and a quarter inch arms.
Maybe not the longest guy of all time,
but he's 27 and he is great in zone coverage.
He is an excellent zone corner with great ball skills.
He's a very physical player as well.
for his size. So I think Monterec Brown, Buster Brown, as a guy who makes a ton of sense for the Tennessee.
Titans, they're going to need more help at cornerback. They're probably going to have to draft a couple of guys there.
But bring back Daryl Baker. Get yourself a Buster Brown. And then I also think that the Titans go out and get a guy like an Akello Witherspoon, a really cheap veteran.
So if you give Buster Brown, you know, $8 to $10 million per year on a one to two year, three year deal,
and then you give Akelo Witherspoon a one-year deal where five or six,
million dollars. You bring back Daryl Baker, you draft somebody in the second or third round of the draft at cornerback.
It's not a full fix for that position, but if you went into this off season thinking the Titans were going to fix every single position, you were wrong already.
And cornerback is one of those that's in such a tough spot. I just don't think the Titans are going to be able to fix it all the way.
And they know that. So rather than going out and spending even more, I think the Titans try to patch it up with some value veterans.
Now, another big time spot where the Titans need help is at center.
Okay?
And I see a lot of people, why did they cut Cushingberry if they didn't have a good plan at center?
And we saw over the weekend, Tyler B. Otis goes to the Los Angeles Chargers.
Connor McGovern, who was my number one choice in veteran free agency at center,
goes back to the Buffalo Bills.
Tough out there.
There was a trade as well.
I can't think off the top of my head
who the trade was
but there was another trade for a center
I think the Bears traded for Garrett Bradbury
so there's another spot
where a center is off the board but at least
that didn't come out of free agency
so that leaves Tyler Linderbaum
at the top of the market and again we've heard
according to reports that the Titans
are interested in Tyler Linderbom
I could see it I could see Tyler Linderbom
but again I think the Titans are only given out
three big time contracts so if the Titans go get
Tyler Linderbaum, I think that would mean that they either missed out on John Franklin Myers
or they're not signing Devin Lloyd. Now, if you want to say the Titans can sign Tyler Linderbaum
and then sign Tremaine Edmonds instead of Devin Lloyd and use a big time contract on Linderbom
and then go for a value veteran with Tremaine Edmins, I would be perfectly fine with that.
Like, you're not going to make me mad. If you're in my comments right now saying do
Robinson, JFM, and Linderbom, and then Tremaine Edmins at linebacker, I'm cool.
with that. I really am. But I don't think
that the Titans are going to want, I think Linderbom
is going to cost more than Devin Lloyd. I don't think the Titans are going to
want to go out and pay the price that Linderbom is about to get from the
commanders or the Raiders. Like I just don't want to do that. So, me personally,
I have a little bit of an off-the-beaten path answer here.
All right? I'm going to get a little creative at center. And we talked about
this guy when we talked about guards. And I have been talking about the
potential for this guy to have some positional versatility.
I'm going to sign Dylan Parham.
That's what I'm going to do.
I'm going to sign Parham at center, not guard.
Yes, I know.
I'm getting crazy.
But listen, Dylan Parham,
6 foot 2, 330 pounds.
He's 27 years old.
He's probably only going to be $7 to $8 million.
$1. Brian Dable, historically, wants an athletic center in the middle of his offensive line because of the run game adjustments that he makes and all that.
Parham also worked under Carmen Bracillo, who is the new offensive line coach for the Tennessee Titans when they were together with the Raiders.
So there's connective tissue. There's a player who's still young, who fits the system, and has a
a ton of versatility. So let's say
the Titans do this.
Signed Dylan Parham.
Play him at center.
Bring back Kevin Zeitler
to play right guard.
In the draft, this year,
draft a center.
A Jake Slaughter,
a Connor Lou.
You know, there's other
options. It's not a bad draft
class for centers, in my opinion, in the mid-browns.
Draft a center.
As I've said throughout the entire
process, you cannot count on
a rookie center
to start in front of
Cam Ward. You cannot do that.
That is too risky. But if you draft
one and they can compete with
Dylan Parham and prove that
they're ready to be a starter, maybe
that could be the case. And in my
opinion, when they are not ready,
then Parham
can flash out to
guard for Kevin Zitler next year.
And then the center that you drafted
in year two is now ready
to be the center.
And now you have Jackson Slater in year three and Dylan Parham competing for the right guard spot.
You have the center that you drafted in the mid-rounds.
Maybe they compete with Jackson Slater as well.
Now you're creating competition and creating long-term solutions on the offensive line while still having answers right now.
So Dylan Parham is going to be my answer for who the Titans signed to play center,
even though he's been a guard primarily, but he's still played about 200 snaps.
at center in his career. So it's not totally foreign to him.
And I think that he's going to be able to do it.
So Dylan Parham is going to be my next choice.
Now, at right guard, which is obviously a position that we need to fill here,
I think the Titans are just going to bring back Kevin Zeitler.
That's my opinion.
I don't think that we need to stress about it.
I don't think that it needs to be some sort of controversial conversation.
Zitler wants to be in Nashville.
The Titans want to keep as much continuity as they possibly can.
Zytler did have the lowest pressure rate,
allowed at right guard in the entire NFL last year
despite some struggles in a late season injury.
So I think the two interior offensive line spots that are open
go with Dylan Parham, go with Kevin Zitler.
Now, if the Titans don't sign Dylan Parham,
I think it's because they signed Tyler Linderbaum
and I was just wrong about one of my splash signings
and it wasn't Devin Lloyd, it was Tyler Linderbom.
So to me it's either Parham, Linderbom
and I'll throw in a little extra Cade Maze
is still available for the time.
Titans, but my thing is, if they don't sign Mays, Parham, or Linderbaum at center,
why did you cut Lloyd Cushenberry in the first place?
I know that he failed the physical.
It was injury related, but Ligeria Sneed is coming back from an injury
and probably wouldn't pass a physical.
And Calvin Ridley's coming back from an injury and maybe he wouldn't pass a physical.
So why did that stop them from cutting them?
But it didn't stop them from cutting Lloyd Cushenberry.
You know what I mean?
So you better get one of these guys if you honestly want to be,
better than Lloyd Cushenberry at center this season.
But with that being said,
a lot more depth is needed on this team.
I got more signings for you,
including backup quarterback, tight end, safety,
another interior defensive lineman
to replace Tavondre Sweat as a nose tackle,
a swing offensive tackle.
We got special teams, a lot more predictions.
Again, let me know yours down below.
Do want to let you guys know that today's episode

But with that being said,
we got Wondale Robinson,
John Franklin Myers,
Devin Lloyd, Kingsley and Iqbore,
Buster Brown and Akello Witherspoon,
Dylan Parham,
and we brought back Kevin Zitler
and Daryl Baker, Jr.
Now we move to the other depth positions.
And at tight end,
I am just going to make an easy connection
and go with Daniel Bellinger.
Bellinger was the tight end,
for Brian Daibble in New York for the last couple of years.
Still only 25 years old.
So him and Gunner Helm together compare together to be the Tennessee Titans
tight end duo for years to come.
Again, Brian Daibble's system needs two
traditional type tight ends.
And Bellinger is a do-it-all tight-in.
Gunner Helm is a do-it-all tight-end.
They give you versatility in what you do on offense.
They give you positional versatility as well as both can split out a little bit if they need to.
Gunner Helm could be a big time slot while Daniel Bellinger plays the wide tight end position.
It just gives the Titans more flexibility than they had with Chigaconkwa.
I'm going to go with Daniel Bellinger in a reunion with Brian Dable on offense.
If they don't go with Daniel Bellinger, I'm going to go with Adam Troutman.
I think he makes a ton of sense for the Titans in the same reasons why Daniel Bellinger does.
He is truly one of the best blocking tight ends.
in the NFL.
At backup quarterback,
I'm going to go with Mitch Trubisky.
It was my number two option.
Snoop Huntley comes off the market,
goes back to Baltimore.
So it's Tyrod Taylor or it's Mitch Trubisky.
I really like Tyrod Taylor.
That would be my number one choice,
but we're hearing reports that the Titans are eyeing Mitch Trubisky.
Let me just say this.
If the Titans sign a real backup quarterback
like Mitch Trubisky or Tyrod Taylor,
Will Levis is traded for sure.
I already feel convinced that Will Levis is going to be traded.
I have said that since the moment that Cam Ward was drafted.
Now, we avoided the scenario last year because Levis decided, elected to have surgery.
He would not have had that surgery if he was still slated to be the starter.
Let me just tell you that, folks, if you didn't know.
But regardless, I think Will Levis is going to be traded.
But if they go out and sign one of those backup quarterbacks, it is absolutely can.
confirmed that he is going to be traded.
You do not go out and sign, you know,
Mitch Trubisky or Tyrod Taylor
if you're going to keep Will Levis around.
It just doesn't make any sense.
Now, let me say this for the last depth position on offense.
I don't think the Titans sign a running back.
I don't think they do.
I think that they're going to keep Tony Pollard
unless they get Jeremiah Love.
And if they get Jeremiah Love in the draft,
They're going to cut or trade Tony Pollard, and then they're going to sign another veteran free agent for much cheaper.
I do not think that the Titans go out and sign a running back here in the next three or four weeks.
I like Tyler Algier, Rashad White, Brian Robinson.
There are some other options out there.
Kenneth Walker is a guy who now is associated with the Titans, but again, I think that's more of a leverage play.
According to what I've heard, the Titans are not going to sign Kenneth Walker.
If they sign Kenneth Walker, they're not drafting Jeremiah Love.
We can throw that out of the window.
There's no way you're paying $13, $14 million a year for a running back
and taking a running back at number four to pay him $6, $7 million a year.
You're not spending $20 million a year at running back.
But I don't think that the Titans actually go out and sign a running back.
I don't think they're going to do it.
I think they're going to be more patient at that position.
And they can afford to be because running backs are dime a dozen for the most part.
Now, moving to defense.
Jason Pinock at safety.
I don't think the Titans make a big splash at safety.
I like Nick Cross.
I'd love a reunion with Kevin Byer,
but I think they just go with a depth guy.
They have a lot of resources in Kevin Winston and Amani Hooker.
It's a good safety draft class where they can get a third safety as well.
I think they just bring in a depth guy
who's played in Robert Salas defense multiple times
to be that third safety early on
and develop a rookie safety behind him.
I'm going with Jason Pinoc as a depth signing for the Tennessee Titans.
Interior defensive line.
I talked about John Franklin Myers.
I think they bring back Sebastian Joseph Day,
and I think they bring in Kalaya Davis,
who is more of a run-stuffing early-down, nose tackle type
for Robert Sala in San Francisco last year.
Davis is only 27 years old.
Makes a ton of sense.
It's going to be incredibly cheap.
So if you bring in John Franklin-Meyer, Sebastian Joseph Day, and Kalaya Davis,
and you combine him with Jeffrey Simmons,
you know, maybe Blake Lynch.
whatever, James Lynch, and then one of those young guys you had last year,
Cam Horsley, Timmy Horn, something like that.
I think that's a pretty good interior defensive line group to go into the draft with
at swing tackle.
James Hudson was just released by the New York Giants.
I think he makes a ton of sense.
Him or Ali Udo bring one of those guys back in.
But again, Hudson was with Bracillo last year, with Dable last year.
He's a swing offensive tackle.
I think he makes a ton of sense.
And kicker and punner,
I think they bring back Joey Sly
and I think they bring in Tommy Townsend.
I think they go do it.
I think that's a great move.
They have the money to do it.
So go make that happen.
So my final official,
free agency predictions,
big splashes.
Wondale Robinson at wide receiver,
John Franklin Myers on the D-Line,
Devin Lloyd at linebacker.
Then some depth veterans.
Kingsley and Igbore at Edge,
Buster Brown and Akello Witherspoon at cornerback.
Dylan Parham, the offensive lineman to play center.
Kevin Zitler comes back to play guard.
Daniel Bellinger at tight-in.
Mitch Trubisky at quarterback.
Jason Pinoc at safety.
Kalaya Davis and Sebastian Joseph Day
on the interior defensive line as well.
James Hudson at offensive tackle.
Tommy Townsend and Joey Sly on special teams
with Morgan Cox coming back as the long snapper as well.
Those are my official predictions.
Let me know yours.
The madness kicks off tomorrow.
And I'll be here going live with you guys.
every time there's big news to break down.
But that's going to do it for me today, folks.
As always, I am your host, Tyler Rowan,
and this was Locked on Titans.
