Locked On Titans - Daily Podcast On The Tennessee Titans - Tennessee Titans Keldric Faulk FUTURE SUPERSTAR & Anthony Hill ALL PRO LINEBACKER Under Robert Saleh
Episode Date: April 28, 2026The Tennessee Titans brought in Keldric Faulk after a trade up back into the first round and you can clearly see why. Faulk has elite potential due to his size, length and movement skills. Faulk will ...be a part of a rotation early on, but Faulk may very well be the most dominate defensive lineman on the team in a few short years and potentially one of the best in the entire NFL. Anthony Hill also has elite potential with his speed, build and violence level. Pair that with Robert Saleh as a linebacker guru and you might have a first team all-pro at the position. Carnell Tate's role long-term is basically the same as the short-term, be the Titans #1 wide receiver, but there is a chance Tate can settle in as a #2. Nick Singleton could turn out to be a lead back and future superstar based on his skillset. If Brian Daboll and Luke Stocker can get his reads to match his explosiveness, Singleton could be the biggest steal of the class. Fernando Carmona and Pat Coogan's long-term role can be as simple as average starter on the offensive line. Jackie Marshall and Jared Kanak are locked into backup roles going forward, no matter the outcomes. Of the entire Tennessee Titans draft class, I think it's Keldrick Folk who has the most superstar potential.
And I'll explain why on today's edition of Locked on Titans.
You are Locked on Titans, your daily Tennessee Titans podcast, part of the Locked On Podcast network, your team every day.
Welcome to the Locked on Titans podcast.
I am your host, Tyler Rowland Titans fans on today's show.
We are going to rank the Tennessee Titans rookie class by Superstar Potential.
Which of these players has the chance to become an elite player in the NFL?
As I said, I have Caldric Falk at number one,
but I think my top three might be a little bit controversial.
I'm also very high on running back Nick Singleton,
and I'll tell you why I have Pat Coogan ahead of Fernando Carmona on the offensive line.
Before we get into all of it, though,
I do want to thank you for making Locked on Titans,
your first listen each and every day.
Monday through Friday, Tennessee Titans content all year round, always for free.
Make sure that you get subscribed, stay subscribed.
It's your team every day.
Speaking of every day, shout out to my everydayers out there, tuning in Monday through Friday.
Couldn't do it without you guys.
If you aren't an everydayer, you need to be what I have a ton of draft content still planned for this week.
We're going to go over the undrafted free agent crop for the Titans, which I'm very, very excited about.
We're going to look at the biggest remaining questions for the Titans now that we're through free agency and the draft.
and I saw some power rankings recently
to have the Titans ranked dead last in the NFL,
which I think is absurd.
We'll get to that as well.
Again, make sure that you stay locked in
to the number one Tennessee Titans podcast in the world,
locked on Titans.
With that being said, though, again,
when we're looking at the Tennessee Titans draft class,
I think there is a ton of long-term potential.
I think the Tennessee Titans have the ability
to have a bunch of these guys
turn into some of the best players at their position
in the entire NFL.
Now, is it likely,
that all of them are going to hit their max potential.
No, if they do, it'll be one of the best draft classes of all time.
But the odds of that happening aren't low.
But nonetheless, the opportunities that the Tennessee Titans gave themselves
to get a superstar level player at certain positions is very high
and no one higher than Keldrick Falk.
That's the reason that Keldrick Fulk was taken.
That's the reason that the Tennessee Titans traded up for Keldrick Fulk
is because his potential is absolutely low.
limitless. If you told me three years from now that
Keldrick Falk is the best defensive lineman in the entire NFL, I would not be shot.
Again, is it likely? No, it's not likely that Keldrick Falk will blossom
into the best defensive lineman in the NFL. I'm not saying that's going to happen.
But the potential for that to happen is highest with Keldrick Fulk among this draft class.
Like if you look at draft class up in there and say, which one of these guys
is really going to turn into a top five player at their position?
It's Keldrick Falk, the size, the length, the violent hands, the ability to move at that size, to play inside, to play outside.
I did a tape study on Keldrick Falk and the video is going to drop on Wednesday morning.
I thought I might get it out on Tuesday, run a little bit behind, but it'll be out on Wednesday morning.
But going through Keldrick Falk's tape, I was absolutely shocked by how quick he is.
especially at edge rusher.
We talk about the edge, the edge, the edge.
Sounds like the Titans want to play him more on the interior
defensive line on passing downs.
Let him stop the run on the edge,
which he absolutely can do, be a firm edge setter on early downs
and then kick inside on pass rush downs to play against guards.
Absolutely.
But even with that,
seeing Keldrick Falk get around the edge
on his college tape
for a guy who's 6 foot 6 with 34
inch arms, 275 pounds, for a guy that big to move that way and be able to bend around the edge.
Now is he, you know, Cassius Howl bending around the edge? No, he's 6'6-275. But at those measurements, at that size,
the way that he moves, I have a couple of reps that I wrote in all caps around the edge.
Like it's just crazy.
And if you take Keldrick Falk
with the length, the size,
the athleticism,
and you add in improved hand technique,
and you add in the ability to combo pass rush moves together
and have an appropriate pass rush plan,
if you add in the high level floor of a run defender,
He can be an absolute mauler in the run game.
Just by himself shut down a run game
because he's unstoppable with the length and the size and the power.
If you add in pass rush technique and pass rush plan
to those elements that are already there,
you're going to have a dominant force.
A literal dominant force that 100%
could be a top five player at his position,
one of the best defensive linemen in the entire NFL
his position. You have that. It reminds me of,
I would compare him to an old school
player, a Deacon Jones.
That's what I see
when I see a guy like Keldrick Fult.
Consistency,
obviously is key, but
there is no doubt
in my mind that looking at this draft class,
Kaldrick Falk is the one with the highest
potential. Now, let me know whether
you agree with me down below. Do you think I'm
wrong? Would you go with Carnell Tate? Would you go
with Anthony Hill potentially?
Let me know. Hit me up in the comments.
Hit me up on social media, locked on Titans every day or group chat,
curious for your thoughts on your rankings of these guys.
But number two for me is Anthony Hill,
and I know that's maybe a bit controversial.
Wait, you don't have Carnell Tate,
the Titans' top five pick in the draft as top two in terms of potential.
But I got to tell you, when I think about who could be top five
at their position in the NFL, an elite level player,
I think that there is a better chance
that Anthony Hill
becomes a top five player at his position in the NFL
than Cardinal Tate
and that has a lot more to do with
the status of the NFL
when it comes to linebacker
and the status of the NFL when it comes to wide receiver.
You see what I'm saying there?
But Anthony Hill
and the thing about all of these guys
that stands out to me is high level recruits
out of high school.
Five star high level.
recruits. Anthony Hill was the best linebacker in his entire class.
Goes to Texas, plays as a true freshman, plays as a true sophomore,
drafted after three years.
This is literally an elite talent his entire life.
Anthony Hill, at his size, 6-3, 240, 32-inch arms,
with the athletic ability, the thirst for violence,
out on the football field.
The petch,
uh,
purchase to make big time plays,
the ability to shoot gaps,
to get downhill again,
to be aggressive.
His ability in coverage,
which is not awful.
He needs to improve his zone awareness.
He needs to improve his feel and zone on underneath routes.
But he can carry a tight end up a seam.
He can play man coverage on a tight end.
He's not a disaster in coverage.
So if you,
You take Anthony Hill and you use him as a blitzer.
You mug him on the line of scrimmage.
You let him shoot gaps in the run game and not worry too much.
You let him improve in coverage, get better there,
have better awareness and understanding,
let the game slow down a little bit for a guy who just turned 21 years old.
You do that in an NFL landscape where there are not a lot of good linebackers.
think everybody knows Fred Warner
but outside
Roquan Smith
very good player
Carson Swessinger
the rookie had a good year
for the Browns
I know that there are more
good linebackers out there
I mean Aziz O'Shaire
is an okay linebacker
Devin Lloyd is another okay linebacker
those are good linebackers
in the NFL
good
but are they great
are there a lot of great lineback
Zach Bonnbacker
just came on the scene.
You know what I mean?
Are there a lot of great linebackers?
Not really.
No, there aren't.
So it would not take as much
for Anthony Hill to jump up there
into the top five.
So I have Keldrick Falk
and Anthony Hill as the top
two Tennessee Titans rookies
in terms of their superstar
potential.
But third, of course,
and I know again,
controversy.
But third, I have Cornell Tate
and I think I've already started to explain why that is,
even though I think Carnell Tate could be the best version of himself
with the Tennessee Titans.
Do want to let you know that today's episode is brought to you by Ruggiat.
The NFL draft was here, and again,
it's a great example of where preparation meets opportunity
and every decision matters.
It's all about being ready when your moment comes.
And that same mindset applies off the field too.
That's where Ruggiat comes in.

Fans, let's continue today's edition of the Locked on Titans podcast.
Again, we're looking at the long-term superstar potential of all the Tennessee Titans rookies.
I have Keldrick Falk as number one far and away.
then I went with Anthony Hill in a close second to Carnell Tate at number three.
And that brings me to Cornell Tate.
And again, I know that a lot of people are going to take that as a slight against
Cornell Tate.
He has to be in the top two.
I can already see the comments.
I get Caldric Falk, but Cornell Tate is higher than Anthony Hill.
And I got to tell you, again, to be an elite superstar in the NFL,
top five at your position, top 10 at minimum,
especially in a place like wide receiver,
where multiple people are out on the field at that position,
say top 10.
Do you know how hard it would be
for Cornell Tate to break into the top 10 wide receivers
and you think,
Jamar Chase, Justin Jefferson,
C.D. Lamb,
Amon Ross St. Brown.
Maybe you would want to put in
George Pickens,
J.SN, Puka, Nucco,
AJ Brown, like,
that's a lot of good wide receivers.
That's a lot of good wide receivers.
Now, I think that Cornell Tate could be in the 10 to 20 range.
That's where I think Cornell Tate's maximum potential.
The best version of Cornell Tate,
Carnal Tate, absolute Starfire version of Cornell Tate,
10 to 20.
I'm thinking Drake London,
Nico Collins.
Maybe you've wanted to put George Pickens in that group,
say, oh, George Pickens, there you go.
Cortland Sutton, D.K. Metcalf.
I think that Cardinal T. Higgins.
I think that Cardinal T.K. could get into that group of players.
10 to 20 range.
Now, T. Higgins, George Pickens.
high-level number wide receiver 2 is on their team.
So maybe when people are saying,
oh, I think that Cardinal T. Cate is a number 2 wide receiver.
I don't know if he's an alpha.
Well, if T. Higgins and George Pickens aren't that,
then why would we be worried?
Devonte Smith is another guy who I think would be in that general range.
So that's where I see Carnell Tate, even at his best,
is wide receiver 10 to 20 in the NFL.
And again, it's not a slight on him.
It's more about how good the wide receiver.
Do I think that Cardinal Tate could ever be as good as C.D. Lamb or
Justin Jefferson or Jamar Chase or A.J. Brown or, no.
I'll be honest.
I don't.
And that's probably where a lot of you guys will disagree with me.
And that's perfectly fine.
But I don't think that Cardinal Tate has the yards after catch ability to be.
as good as those guys were knock on that door.
I think, honestly,
Carnell Tate is best as probably 15 to 20.
Again, Cortland Sutton would be an area
that I would say he's around.
Nico Collins would be like getting up there.
If he's as good as Nico Collins,
that's a stud.
And the Titans dominated that draft pick.
Like, that's a great player right there.
But will he be more Nico Collins?
will he be more Alec Pierce?
Probably somewhere in between.
But again, we're talking about, you know, 15 to 25
somewhere in there.
And I think that Anthony Hill
and Keldrick Falk,
because linebacker is easier to break through,
Keldrick Falk just, I think, is higher physical tools.
I just think those two guys have a better shot
to be a top five player at their position
and then Cardinal Tate to get into the Jamar Chase,
AJ Brown, Justin Jefferson, Pooka, Kua conversation.
I just, I don't see that.
But again, I know that that's a bit controversial,
but that's where I'm at with the rankings.
Now, after that, I go Nick Singleton, though.
Nick Singleton is number four for me.
I think Nick Singleton,
he's not going to be a top five player at his position,
but his size, six foot, 220,
his home run speed, his dual threat ability out of the backfield.
Again, I've talked about it. Outside of Jeremiah Love,
Nick Singleton has the most potential of any running back in this draft class.
So if you told me that the Titans offensive line took big steps forward,
Cam Ward and the passing name took big step forward, steps forward.
Tony Pollard and Nick Singleton shared the lead back duties in year one
and Singleton went for 600 yards on the ground and caught 150 yards
and had five touchdowns, I would be like, all right.
And then if you told me that Nick Singleton by year two was a thousand-yard rush
or a 500-yard receiver and one of the more explosive running backs in the entire NFL,
I would not be shot.
He has the potential to do that.
Now, will that happen?
Again, not likely.
We're talking about the highest level outcome of these players.
But when you look at the rest of the draft class,
offensive linemen and, you know, KANick and Marshall,
like, I'm sorry, it's clear.
It's clear that Nick Singleton is the guy who could be most likely to turn into a superstar.
Now, outside of Nick Singleton, though,
because the two offensive weapons there are Tate and Singleton,
Pat Coogan,
I have faith in Pat Coogan.
I really do.
I think that Pat Coogan is going to be able to start at center
for this team this year.
Cougan is going to find a way
to be the starter this year.
Whether he beats out Shlopman in training camp,
whether he takes the spot away from him
during the season,
they were high on Coogan.
and we saw Dave Ziegler, Titans' assistant general manager,
talked to the media on Tuesday.
Just a quick little media sesh.
And he said that they liked a couple of different centers,
but they had Pat Coogan targeted on their board like,
Pat Coogan at the right value is the best center pick that we can make in the draft.
like we would, if we could get Pat Coogan at this particular pick,
it's a better value than taking any other center in the draft
higher than that.
And they got Pat Coogan at the pick that they wanted.
Talked about a guy who fits perfectly.
Tough, gritty is what they keep talking about.
So they already had Coogan in their mind as, hey, this guy could be our starting center
ASAP.
that was already something that they were thinking about.
So to get Pat Coogan where they got him,
to know the way that they think about him,
to know what he's capable of,
and I'm in the lab right now working on some Pat Coogan tape,
I think out of all the players left,
which are all very unlikely,
to ever be top five at their position,
Pat Coogan turning into a top five center
after being the best center in college football,
I think is more likely than any of the other remaining options.
So, Keldrick Falk, number one,
Anthony Hill, number two,
Cornell Tate number three,
Nick Singleton number four, Pat Coogan, number five.
After that, my next best one
is actually the Titans' last pick
in Jaron Kenick.
Fans, let's cap off today's edition
of the Locked on Titans podcast.
Again, we are ranking the Tennessee Titans rookie class by Superstar Potential.
Who could be a top five player at their position?
We talked about the ranking so far with Falk Hill, Tate, Singleton, Coogan.
But now I want to talk about Jaron Kanick.
Because I think that he is a guy that actually does have some superstar potential.
Unlikely is the Titan 7th round pick.
But I can see it.
I'll explain why, but I first want to thank you for making the lock.

But I had Pat Coogan.
But after Pat Coogan, again, Jared Kanick,
tight end, 6'2,
230 pounds,
freak athlete.
Really good athlete,
track star,
played Wildcat quarterback in high school,
went to linebacker in college,
went back to tight end
his last year, Oklahoma,
and went for 500 receiving yards.
Like, what can this dude not do?
You want him to play QB, he'll do it
You want him to win the sprint race
He'll do it
You want him to be physical, make tackles and play linebacker
He'll do it
You want him to play on special teams
and play coverage units and do all that
He'll do it
You want him to change the tight end
Where he can get the ball in his hands
Make plays
Comes in right away
500 receiving yards
Like, what an athlete
So as the seventh round pick
At 225
is it likely that the Titans are going to find a seventh round gem
that turns into a superstar at tight end?
No, it's not.
But the ability with the ball in his hands, the speed.
He essentially, in my world,
becomes a replacement for Chigacanquo.
Jaron Kenick can be the new Chigacanquo.
That move tight end, hit him on screens,
let him get the ball in his hands, runs around.
Does he have the pedigree of Chigaconquo?
Is he going to be as good as Chigna Conquo?
Probably not.
But he can play that role
and he has the athleticism to do it.
So if you're going to ask me whether it's Fernando Carmona,
Jackie Marshall, or Jaron Kenick,
who has the highest superstar potential,
to me, it's far and away, Jaron Kenick.
You can at least see it because of the elite speed
and the matchups that he can create
as essentially a wide receiver
that is physical
because of his time as a linebacker,
that's why he's playing tied-end.
And also,
you could look at it from this direction as well.
It is more likely to me
that Jaron Kenick
becomes one of the top five special teams players
in the entire NFL
than it is that Fernando Carmona
or Jackie Marshall will turn in the top five players in their position.
That's simply what it comes down to.
So I have Tiden as an avenue,
I have special teams as an avenue.
So that's why Jaron Kenneck out of the final three here,
that's why he gets the win.
Now, Fernando Carmona,
I just am, Fernando Carmona has a chance to be the Chim D.K.
Of this year, where last year we were excited about Gunner Helm,
we were excited about Elycao Manor.
Nobody was really hype for Chim D.K.
It was like, oh, Chim DK, why'd they take that guy
at the beginning of the fourth round?
You know what I mean?
like, that was the least exciting of the three picks right there of the past catchers.
I feel like Fernando Carmona is getting that treatment this year.
It's partly my fault.
I'm included in the blame, you know what I mean?
But that, you know, people love Pat Coogan.
Nick Singleton is a running back with home run highlights, which makes him fun.
Anthony Hill has a lot of pop as an athlete.
Cornell Tate and Keldrick Falk were first-round picks.
You know, so everybody's hype on those.
But Fernando Carmona is the one where everybody's like, oh, yeah, they drafted him too.
I guess he'll compete with Jackson Slater.
And people like Jackson Slater more because Jackson Slater is a likable guy who's been on the team for a year,
who people hope would develop.
He already has a little bit of a head start on people's minds and hearts than Fernando Carmona.
And a lot of people wanted other options. Sam Hect was on the board.
I would have liked that. Keith Abney was on the board.
If you told me the Titans didn't get a guard, brought back Kevin Zitler,
got Keith Abney instead of Fernando Carmona.
I would have been happy.
I would prefer that.
You know what I mean?
So Fernando Carmona also represents the Titans not going offensive line sooner.
So people will kind of take it out on him as well.
But, you know, I just don't see it.
I don't see top five ability.
so he's under can it.
For me, and last is Jackie Marshall,
and I feel bad.
Poor Jackie Marshall, if he's watching.
I feel bad.
I don't want to hate,
but my least favorite pick
of the draft, Jackie Marshall.
The Titans have so much interior
defensive line depth.
He's more of a athletic run-stopper
than anything else.
They didn't get a defensive back.
They waited a long time for offensive line.
They didn't get a development,
offensive tackle, although they did bring in a meal
Wagner as an undrafted free agent. Again, we're going to talk undrafted free agency as we get
more of an official list later in the week. But yeah, Jackie Marshall last on my list.
The opportunity to play, the ability to grow into a superstar level talent, limited as a
pass rusher, limited upside to grow into his body more, limited opportunities with the
Titans talent and money spent at Interior, defensive line. Jackie Marshall has to be last on the
list.
potential superstars, quite frankly,
I think that Jackie Marshall is the most likely Titan
to not make the roster at all in his rookie year.
So, obviously, he's going to be last on this list.
But curious what your guys' list is going to be,
let me know again down below in the comments.
