The Tennessee Titans were going to upset the fraudulent Houston Texans, and that's exactly what they did on the road. But my God, what a roller coaster of a game it was for the Tennessee Titans. Brian Callahan proves that he knows what he's doing. Will Levis, despite adversity, leads this team to a massive victory, and the defense comes up clutch once again,

despite the despicable special teams play that continues to haunt this football team. But we will talk about that much later. What an insane game. What an insane victory for the Tennessee Titans,

overcoming all of the adversity in this game. It was unbelievable. And you know what? You didn't think they were going to do it, and neither did I for a little while during that game. After the Titans throw the pick six, the fumble by Jaquan Jackson, I was convinced, okay, bad football team doing bad football team stuff. No way that they can overcome this, but that is exactly what they did, and once again, you have a ton of football teams with records like the Tennessee Titans, quitting on their coaches, laying down on

the job, but not the Tennessee Titans. Why? Because Brian Callahan. Brian Callahan in this game showed that what he is doing is working. There are plenty of things that need to be cleaned up. We will talk about the special teams, absolutely. But at the end of the day, this football team is on the right direction. A couple of crazy things happened at the beginning of the season.

Obviously, they have their flaws as a roster, and we've talked about those ad nauseum. But this football team is on its way, and they said it on the halftime show. Matt Ryan said the Tennessee Titans are a team that nobody wants to see in the second half of the season, and they are starting to turn the corner. We saw it with a good performance against the Los Angeles Chargers, against a great defense. We saw it with a really solid performance against the

Minnesota Vikings, where they got absolutely cheated by the referees, or they would have won that football game. And now everything pays off. The Tennessee Titans score over 30 points. The defense comes up clutch. The offense bounces back from adversity. I'm so proud of this football team and their ability to bounce back from the nonsense that happened in this game. What a roller coaster it was.

And, of course, we have to talk about the performance of William Donovan Levis. Look, the Titans gave up eight sacks in this game, but seven of those sacks came in the first half. Only one sack in the second half. And, look, there was conservative play calling, absolutely. Will Levis was trying not to make big mistakes and all that, but that just led him to making the big mistake. He throws the pick six when the Titans are up by six.

And I'm like, here we go. Will Levis meltdown. Brian Callahan scared to call regular plays. Will Levis thinking too much and making mistakes. But then they bounce back. The 70-yard touchdown on the first play of the drive to Chigaconkwo was a massive moment in the Tennessee Titans season. A massive, massive moment.

Do you know the last time that the Titans had a one-play touchdown drive where they scored on their very first play of the drive? The last one that I can remember personally is in Baltimore to Kalief Raymond. That was the last one that comes to mind. There may be one in between that, but that is the last one that I can even think of. What a massive bounce back for not only the Tennessee Titans, but for Will Levis.

And again, to me, this is a proof of concept win for Brian Callahan. This is exactly what the Titans needed. And for those of you who are going to be in the comments, for those of you that are going to be online saying, the Tennessee Titans shouldn't have won this game. The Tennessee Titans should have lost this game. Shut up. Shut up.

Just shut up. Nobody wants to hear that right now. This is what the Tennessee Titans needed. The Tennessee Titans needed a win that mattered against a good football team on the road to battle back from adversity when things aren't going your way in the second half to turn it back around and still get a victory. This is what the Tennessee Titans needed to turn things around. If you're worried about winning games next season,

then today was a massive, massive day for the Titans. And I got to tell you, it's not like the Titans are going to get a terrible draft pick now. They've already lost eight games. They only have three wins. It's not like they're going from a top five pick to in the 20s. That's not the situation here. So shut up. Enjoy this victory.

This is a massive, massive win for the Tennessee Titans because it proves to the players in the locker room that they have what it takes. It proves to the players in the locker room that Brian Callahan can lead them to monster victories. It proves that the path that they are on is the right path. And this is exactly what they needed to show it. A proof of concept win for the Tennessee Titans. This is massive. This is a massive, massive victory.

And for Will Levis to bounce back from the pick six, for Tony Pollard to bounce back from the fumble, for the Titans defense to bounce back from all of the terrible, terrible situations that they were put in in this game, this is exactly the kind of win that the locker room needed, that the organization needed. This isn't Madden, folks. This isn't my computer players out there with no emotions

who are going to play next year and who are going to buy into the culture of the whole entire organization. This is not Madden. Stop saying that they should have lost the game. This is massive for the culture of the football team moving forward. And for every single player that stepped up and all of the injuries that they have in the secondary and the flaws that this roster have to go into Houston who were over a touchdown favorites

and to pull off this upset and score over 30 points in the bounce I mean this is exactly what the Tennessee Titans hope that they could be and we have seen it start to build and start to build and start to build and start to build, and this is the cherry on top of, oh, this is what this football team can be. And imagine if they didn't make all the stupid mistakes. They would have smoked the Texans. The Texans are frauds, baby.

They are all those moves, all those big names. You are frauds, Houston Texans. And the Titans knew it all along. But with that being said, we got to do Titan Up, Titan Down. What a game from Will Levis. Now, he started off hot as possible. I mean, he was like 11 for 11 for his first 160 yards, a touchdown.

I mean, a massive, massive start to this game for Will Levis. And then things started to tail off. Things got wonky. In the end of the first half, the sacks started to roll in. Seven sacks in the first half. That was the third most in NFL history for a first half. But Will Levis continued to battle. And look, he makes the pick six,

which totally swings the game. The Titans are up by six. He throws the pick six. Now the Texans are up by one. And you know that we're all thinking, oh my God, here we go again. Here we go again. But no, Will Levis straps it back on

and goes out there and delivers a strike to Chikaconkwo over the middle of the field, 70 yards for a touchdown, but to put the Tennessee Titans back up and to put them up for good. Was Will Levis perfect in this game? No, he was far from perfect. Far, far, far from perfect. He caused a lot of those eight sacks. I would say at least half of those sacks were Will Levis' fault.

He threw the terrible pick six. All right? That was a terrible decision. He had his bad moments, but he bounced back so strongly to win this game. Incredible bounce back. Look, things aren't always going to go right. Things aren't always going to go right. Things aren't always going to go right.

Patrick Mahomes is at the top of the NFL this year. One of the highest in the NFL in interceptions thrown this year. Bad things happen in the NFL. Bad things happen during games. It's how you bounce back that matters most. It's the classic saying. It's not how many times you get knocked down. It's how many times you get back up.

And Will Levis got back up today and delivered a massive win to the Tennessee Titans. Everything that worries you about Will Levis and everything that makes you excited about Will Levis was on display in this game. But he got his first win of the season and they needed it so, so desperately. So tighten up to Will Levis for bouncing back from adversity.

Also, Tony Pollard, same thing. Tony Pollard had the fumble. Was it on Will Levis on the handoff? Was it on Tony Pollard? Was it on the offensive line getting smashed into the backfield? Who knows? But 24 carries, 119 yards, and a touchdown in this game. Ran for five yards a carry.

Who was the best running back in this game? Well, the other guy who gets all the praise, Joe Mixon, had 14 carries for 22 yards. He was a non-factor in this game. A non-factor. Joe Mixon did nothing in this game. He had one good catch on the sideline and broke a tackle from Roger McCree. That's it.

Tony Pollard was excellent and continues to be excellent all year long for the Titans. And then we go to the wide receivers. Calvin Ridley once again was a difference maker. Five catches, 93 yards, had the 63-yard bomb to flip the field in the first half. I have had people complain about Calvin Ridley to me. How in the world could you complain about Calvin Ridley?

He has been everything, everything the Tennessee Titans paid for. He has been worth his contract all year long. The first month of the season, everything was a ride. But even then, I mean, Calvin Ridley scored both touchdowns in the Jets game. Calvin Ridley made big plays in the Bears game. Like, Calvin Ridley has been absolutely fantastic all year long. All year long. All year long.

Gotta give credit to Calvin Ridley. Massive. I also gotta say this. We gotta give a tighten up to Chica Conquo. Has been quiet this year. Absolutely. But to make that play and the way he raced past the entire Houston secondary, I told you guys that the Houston secondary was vulnerable.

The Titans could make big plays on this secondary. Texans are great in the pass rush. Texans are good at linebacker. But their secondary outside of Derrick Stingley Jr. is not that good. And the Titans exposed them on deep passes all day long. Nick Westbrook-Akene with a huge touchdown catch on a slot where he makes a little double move and then gets past the safety. Big time play. Tyler Boyd was exactly what we hoped for when the Titans signed Tyler Boyd. Six catches, 55 yards, moving the chains consistently, caught every single target that was thrown his way. Massive day for the Titans pass catchers there in big spots.

And then you go to the defense. Clutch, clutch defensive performance. Jarvis Brownlee Jr. is a dog. He's a dog. He got beat down the sideline by Nico Collins, but Nico Collins is a top 10 wide receiver in the NFL. Maybe better. Jarvis Brownlee Jr. is a fifth round rookie, but JBJ made plays all day long. He gets the interception.

And what about, what about that pass breakup? That pass breakup on Tank Dell over the middle on 3rd and 19. Tank Dell gets the ball in his hands. He's open. And Jarvis Brownlee Jr., boom, punches the ball out of his hands. What a massive, massive, massive play from the rookie cornerback. The Titans have a stud in Jarvis Brownlee Jr. Tighten up Jarvis Brownlee Jr.

And not only that, the D-line, the defensive line. The Titans have a stud in Jarvis Brownlee Jr. Tighten up Jarvis Brownlee Jr. And not only that, the D-line, the defensive line. Jeffrey Simmons and Devondre Sweat were animals in this game. They both had a sack. They were amazing. Again, Joe Mixon had 14 carries for 22 yards. He's been carving the NFL up all season long. You do not run on the Tennessee Titans. And that is because of Jeffrey Simmons and Tavondre Sweat.

Tavondre Sweat gets his first NFL career sack in Houston, where he's from, went to Texas. What a homecoming for Tavondre Sweat. T-Pain, Meatloaf, Big Sweat. I don't care what you call him, call him a winner. That's what matters. What a massive game for the Titans defensive line. In the run game,

Arden Key, Harold Landry, Allie Gay. Allie Gay gets a huge sack in the red zone. What a performance from the Titans defensive line. Incredible. And then the linebackers. And again, no Imani Hooker in this game.

He was sick. No Imani Hooker in this game. Didn't matter. Didn't matter. Kenneth Murray Jr. I have dulled Kenneth Murray Jr. all year. And look, I'm not going to change my opinion that I don't think Kenneth Murray Jr. is a starting level player.

He's definitely not as good as a lot of people think. But in this game, two tackles for loss, had the interception, a quarterback hit, they blitzed him quite a bit. Kenneth Murray had a fantastic game. Kenneth Murray was the better linebacker on the field between him and Aziz Alshire, who got multiple penalties Aziz Alshire got in this game. Tighten up to the entire defense, man. They deserve a massive, massive, massive tighten up for the way the defense continued to rebound. The tighten down in this game is the special teams.

What a disaster the special teams were in this game. Once again, Brian Callahan can wait until the end of the season. That's fine with me, sure. But Cole Anderson has to be fired. Cole Anderson has to be fired. Period. The tighten down that I'm giving is the special teams. What a disaster, once again.

And Jaquan Jackson, who I have defended for most of the season, the last month, he has been a disgrace. Like, it's just unacceptable. What Jaquan Jackson has done the last month of the season. So, but we know that. That's what makes this win so much more special. The turnovers, the special teams, and the Titans still found a way against the fraudulent Houston Texans, who are complete frauds, who I said had an overrated offseason. The Texans are worse this year than they were last year.

They are frauds, period. Went to your trap, took over your trap. The Tennessee Titans pull up a Texas-sized upset. What an incredible win. Again, a proof of concept win for Brian Callahan and the Tennessee Titans organization, proving that they are moving in the right direction. Same thing for Will Levis, proving that he is improving. Also, making his case to be the quarterback for next season, which of course at this time, I would rather have Levis in 2025 than any of the other options at quarterback, whether it be free agency or the draft. The Titans defense comes up in clutch moments once again. We did tighten up, tighten down for the good individual performances.

The bad special teams, once again, they continue to kill the Titans. This wouldn't even have been close if not for the special teams. Think, the very first kickoff of the game, Texans go down one play touchdown because they're on the 18-yard line. The bad punt. Jaquan Jackson fumbling. Like, they're... I got a couple more tighten-ups that I gotta get to

what a great performance by Nick Folk. Incredible. Take your three and a half million, bro. Take it. You deserve it. Incredible. Incredible. Incredible. Incredible. Also, I think they give a tight nut to me. All right?

I called this. I told you that the Texans were primed for an upset. Their offensive line is trash. Their secondary is vulnerable. C.J. Stroud has not been playing good football, and the Texans' down-to-down efficiency has been awful all year. They are big play merchants. They live off explosive plays.

If you stop the run and then you get pressure, you're going to be able to take down this team. And I didn't even expect that the Titans would make as many mistakes as they really did. Incredible. Incredible. Incredible. Incredible win for the Titans. Cannot stress it enough.

But here's one thing that I want to talk about. Obviously, the special team's terrible. The offense battled through adversity against a really, really good defensive front all day and massive mistakes. The defense was clutch. And think, no Imani Hooker. No LeJarius Sneed. No Chido Owusie.

No Quandre Diggs. Jamal Adams, whatever, but no Jamal Adams. The Titans were on their fifth and sixth safeties. They're on a practice squad pickup cornerback and then a fifth round rookie. Jack Gibbons out for the year. Ernest Jones traded. The back seven of the Titans defense

has like six or seven backups to backups. And they still got it done. They still got it done. So overcoming adversity on offense, clutch defense, great job by Nick Folk. This is exactly, exactly what the Titans are about right here. But, I know that there are a lot of people out there who are, who are upset that the Titans won. It hurt the draft pick.

Bubble, bubble, this and that. Again, as I said at the beginning of the show, shut up. Shut up. It's that simple. Look, I am somebody who understands when the Titans need to lose. I wanted the Titans to lose in week 18 of the last two seasons. Why? Because the concept was over.

You had Mike Vrabel, so it's not like he needs to prove anything to the players in the locker room at that point. And then last year, I wanted them to fire Mike Vrabel, so why do I care about the culture of the locker room if I think they should fire the head coach? But right now, there's a long season ahead, folks. We don't know what record it would be to be a top five pick or a top ten pick. We don't know any of that.

It's not like if the Titans would have lost this game, it would have secured their draft position. There's a long season to go still. Six more weeks. And we have to remember the human element here. The human element. Do we want Brian Callahan to completely lose the locker room when they go 2-15?

No, that is not good for next year. All of the people who are worried about the Titans draft pick are thinking about winning next year. If you want to win next year, the Titans need some proof of concept wins down the back half of the season to prove to the players in the locker room, our coach can lead us.

Our coach can make it happen. Will Levis can lead us. Will Levis can help us win games. If you care about 2025, then this win is exactly what you needed. This is exactly what the Titans needed to do. Because this is bigger. This is bigger than just a regular win.

This is bigger than if the Titans were to beat the Chargers or the Vikings. This is the division game. This is on the road. This is adversity with if the Titans were to beat the Chargers or the Vikings. This is the division game. This is on the road. This is adversity with multiple turnovers, multiple sacks, a historically bad sack performance for the Titans in the first half. And yet they overcome. This is the type of thing that makes every player in that locker room

believe in the coaching staff. This is the type of win that makes every player in that locker room believe in the coaching staff. This is the type of win that makes every player in the locker room believe in themselves. Also, let me point out, the Colts lost today. The Texans are now seven and five. The Titans play the Jaguars two more times. The Titans play the Texans again in week 18. The Titans play the Colts once again. The Titans play the Texans again in week 18 the Titans play the Colts once again the Titans play the Washington Commanders who are falling apart at the seams with second half of the year Cliff Kingsbury the Titans play the Cincinnati Bengals and I have been saying that the Titans

were going to win that game all year and I will never waver that will be an emotional game in Tennessee and the Titans will beat the Cincinnati Bengals I'm not going to say it, but I'm just saying we've seen things like this happen. We've seen things like this happen.

The Tennessee Titans need to feel the joy in the locker room for the rest of the season, this was so, so critical. So if you're somebody who is mad that the Titans won, shut up. Shut up.

That's all I have to say about that. This was a needed win. A needed win for the Titans. You want to talk about winning games or losing games for draft pick, blah, blah, blah, this and that? Talk about that at the end of the season. This win was massive. And now the Titans play, I believe, the Jaguars next week.

And I sure as the world don't want to lose to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Not this year. So, anyways, I told y'all. I told y'all the Texans are frauds and the Titans are winning this year. So, anyways.
