We are going to do a seven-round mock draft where the Tennessee Titans trade down with the Dallas Cowboys
and get two first-round picks in this year's draft before I get to my picks, the trade,
and everything it entails.

The draft is just a couple of weeks away.
We're in the middle of the Locked on Titans NFL draft preview series.
Going position by position.
We're going to hit the interior offensive line on tomorrow.
Marrows episodes.
Then we're going to get into the defense.
We already did wide receiver, tight-end.
Offensive tack was running back.
Make sure that you go back and check that out if you missed it.
Nobody's getting you more ready to go for the NFL draft than me here.
So make sure that you stay locked in with the number one Tennessee Titans podcast in the world.
Locked on Titans.
But with that being said, again, I'm going to make a trade with the Dallas Cowboys
who over the weekend were reported to be a team that is interested in moving up.
Now, we heard that the Cowboys might have had.
conversations with the Arizona Cardinals. I am hoping that instead of trading up to three,
that the Dallas Cowboys would instead move up to number four, which would help the Titans,
because I think if Dallas moved up to number three, it hurts the Tennessee Titans in multiple
ways. Number one, Dallas would be moving up to number three to get David Bailey the edge rusher.
I think David Bailey would be the number one player on the Tennessee Titans board. Not only that,
but if a team jumped up and made a trade up to number three, it is much less likely that a
would trade up to number four as well. It's very unlikely you'd see two trades back to back there.
So I'm hoping that the Tennessee Titans, number one, don't get a player that they like stolen from them at number three,
but also number two, they're the team that gets the trade down in the top five.
And Dallas has a lot to offer. And I think you go back to the Arizona Houston trade from a couple of years ago,
where Arizona got two first round picks, a second and a third rounder for a first rounder,
fourth rounder. I think the Titans would get a little bit less than what Arizona got in that deal
because they're trading back to number four, or trading up to number four, not number three.
The draft class isn't as good. Will Anderson isn't as, or Will Anderson is a better prospect
than David Bailey, but I think the Titans would be close. Here's what I got from the Dallas Cowboys,
and I think it's a fair trade. I got picked 12 and picked 20, and then a third rounder next year in
2027 increasing the 2027 draft capital. So I get an additional top 100 pick that happens to be a first rounder in this year's class.
And I get an extra pick next year and what I give up is the number four overall pick and then a fifth rounder number 144.
And the Titans have two fifth rounders. So they're giving up the lesser of the two they had.
I know that may not be the three first rounds haul, blah blah blah this and that.
But the reality is the Cowboys don't have another pick after 12 and 20 until 92.
So it's not like they have a lot of draft capital give up
and I think this deal is similar enough, although a little cheaper
than what Arizona got for moving off of Will Anderson.
But again, I think the Titans would do this in a heartbeat
because they have talked about their goal of increasing top 100 picks
and now you've done that in back-to-back seasons.
So now we go to number 12.
What pick did I take at number 12 to start off these back-to-back first-round picks?
Well, I had a bunch of different options, wide receivers
that were on the board.
Jordan Tyson,
Omar Cooper,
KC. Concepcion,
edge rushers,
Keldrick Falk,
Akeem Messador,
T.J. Parker,
not too high on that group right there.
Vega Ione,
the interior offensive lineman
from Penn State still on the board.
Kenyon Sadiq,
the tight end from Oregon,
still on the board.
Monroe Freeling,
Spencer Fano,
still on the board.
But for me,
at pick number 12,
I could not pass on
an elite talent.
guy who might have gone top five in this draft, if not for an injury,
a guy who just ran at his pro day and ran a 4.3 40-yard dash.
He's back.
He's ready to go.
And he's the best cornerback in the entire draft class.
I am taking Jermad McCoy out of Tennessee.
He is an elite level prospect, if not for the ACL tear.
This is a guy who is an absolute monster on the outside.
6 foot, 188 pounds.
Again, ran the 4-440 yard dash, 4-3, 4-40.
I saw 4-3-8 some places, 4-4, some other places.
77-inch wingspan.
So his arms at 31.25 don't seem that long,
but the wingspan is very solid.
He is a size speed athlete.
He's able to carry guys down the sideline vertically.
Very good at driving on routes when it's time to close.
great instincts and coverage as a boundary cornerback.
In Robert Salas' defense, this guy could be absolutely elite.
Elite.
Now, needs to be a little more physical.
Get better with this technique and press coverage,
which a lot of college guys do.
His ability to mirror routes as they break inside isn't as good as maybe you would like.
But in Robert Salas defense,
playing that outside cornerback position
where you've got to carry routes vertically,
win on the boundary and on the sideline,
win in contested catch situations with jump balls,
press guys to the sideline,
press bail coverage where you're at the line of scrimmage
and you bail off and stay with them vertically.
He can do that so, so well again.
I think this is the best cornerback in the NFL draft,
if healthy, and he sure looked healthy in that recent workout.
So at number 12, I am going to take Jermad McCoy,
and because of the ACL injury,
we get an absolute value
on what could be a superstar level cornerback.
And not only that,
but then you have Cordell Flot as your outside field corner.
You have Alante Taylor who's better in the slot, in my opinion.
Jermad McCoy playing on the outside.
We are absolutely cooking with gasset cornerback.
And now we have turned what was the biggest hole on the roster
when the all season started
because you knew that Sneed was gone.
You had nothing else there after trading McCreary, trading Jarvis Brownley.
Now we have taken the cornerback position that was the biggest weakness on the roster
and turning it into maybe the biggest strength on the roster with three incredible cornerbacks.
Jermad McCoy would be an excellent solution for the Titans if they traded back into that early team past 10 type range.
11, 12, I told you all bets are off.
If the Titans trade back to 11 or lower, I would take a lot of different options.
Jamad McCoy, we can't skip on a trade back and an elite talent.
And that's what we get here.
And speaking of an elite talent, we get to pick number 20.
And I got to tell you, there's a guy who I have fallen in love with.
I'm not going to be able to come off of him.
I think he's going to be an elite superstar in the NFL
and immediately give Cam Ward a number one option.
I had options out there on the O line.
The O line had a lot of options.
Vagaiione, Caden Proctor, Caleb Loomu, Omar Cooper, Denzel Boston.
I wouldn't take wide receiver there that early, maybe Woodeye, T.J. Parker, Blake Miller still on the board.
But again, I'm going with a guy that I'm infatuated with.
And it's KC. Concepcion, the speed, folks.
And Malik Neighbors.
Was Malik Neighbors considered an X wide receiver coming out of college?
No. But they used him as an isolation receiver in Brian Dable's offense, and he was incredible.
And I think Casey Concepcion can do some similar things. He's not as good yards after catch as a guy like Malik neighbors,
but I would wager that he's faster. His speed, his explosion, the way he slides and glides all over the field,
he is an awesome route runner. Literally an awesome route runner. He makes, listen, he's got some drops,
all right, but he also makes some clutch catches
where he jumps over people and makes these highlight catches.
It's just unbelievable.
The speed and the explosion that he plays with
just because he's not the most physical guy.
He has some concentration drops that I don't care about that.
Explosive talent.
To get Jermad McCoy, who might be a superstar cornerback
and then get Casey Concepcion at pick number 20
and go from one Jeremiah Love, one David Bailey, one Rubin Bain, one Sunny Stiles,
one Carnell Tate to Jamad McCoy, Casey Concepcion, and a third round pick next year.
Absolutely cooking with gas to massive elite playmakers with speed and explosion.
This is, I could not, I mean, I couldn't wager a better pairing at the start.
Now, maybe you could say Jordan Tyson and Vega Ione.
Maybe you would argue that pairing because I looked at it and I'm like, huh?
If the Titans were okay with the Tyson injuries,
I'd have to consider that.
But with the Tyson injuries, I don't see it as realistic.
Again, Drummond McCoy looked good coming off just the ACL,
not as big of an injury concern as Tyson with multiple injuries.
And then to get Casey Concepcion, my heart would be full.
What a nasty first round and a nasty tradeback.
That would be going from pick four to Dramad McCoy, Casey Conception in a third round next year.
I'm sorry, you just can't beat that.
And we're not done yet.
It's time to hit the offensive line and hit the trenches, folks.
Seven round mock draft continues.

And let's continue today's edition of the Locked-on Titans podcast.
Again, another seven-round mock draft.
We look at a bigger tradeback yesterday or last week's mock draft.
We looked at a small tradeback with the commanders to number seven.
Now we're doing a little medium tradeback.
With the Dallas Cowboys, we got picked 12, we got pick 20,
we got a third rounder next year for pick number four and pick number 144.
We took Jermad McCoy, the cornerback out of Tennessee,
KC Concepcion, the wide receiver out of Texas.
A&M and now we move to pick
number 35. We still have
number 35 in our
back pocket and again it's time
to hit the trenches folks
and for me personally
I looked at offensive
linemen at number 20
Ioni, Proctor
Lumu, Miller
I thought about it I really did but when I get
the 35 to me
it's all about the trenches it's offensive line
pregoam
Rutledge
Loo Hects
Lodder, Jones, on the interior.
Maybe we go the trenches the other direction.
Cassius Howe.
Zion Young, R. Mason Thomas,
Gabe Joccus, Derek Moore,
Joshua Josephs.
A ton of different options there.
In the trenches, though, it's time.
We got our perimeter weapons,
which is funny because Robert Sala
had Sauce Gardner and Garrett Wilson
in the same draft class.
Now he gets Jermad McCoy,
K.C. Concepcion in the same draft class.
There's some synergy there,
but I couldn't turn down the offensive
line anymore, especially with the options
are available. And I went with
Emmanuel Preggone,
the interior offensive lineman
out of Oregon, fringe
first round pick, 6 foot 4,
314 pounds,
33 inch arms, which is
very good for the interior,
82 inch wingspan.
So the wingspan is even longer
than the arms would suggest. That's a big
chest, a barrel chest on a guy.
11 inch hands.
11 inch hands, and boy does he
use him 7.73 cone, which is kind of a cutoff for me. The frame.
He's big, he's thick built, hard to get through the length,
good arm length for a guard. Strong hands, he's a striker. He's like a boxer. When he punches you,
you feel it. Striking power. Which is important in this offense where you've got to
displace people on the offensive line. Important in past protection to slow down momentum.
He's a good mover too.
He's not just a power guy with good strikes and good anchor and a thick build.
He can move.
He can get to the second level and cut people off.
Great IQ as well.
A guy who can pick up twists and stunts and he finishes.
He's nasty.
He'll play through the echo of the whistle.
He's literally everything that you could want.
And if you go throughout history,
good interior offensive linemen
are often found at the beginning of the second round.
This is a very good place to strike for an interior offensive linemen,
especially a guard more than a center.
This is historically a good place where you get good players.
I think Pregnon could come in right away
and start it right guard for the Titans immediately.
And then you can worry about Jackson Slater versus Austin Schloteman at center
or worry about getting your center a little later on,
which is something that we might do here.
But again, a lot of options on the board,
Could have went edge. I thought about edge. Grabbing Cache's Howl, the speed rusher.
Grabbing Zion Young, the power rusher, R. Mason Thomas, the speed guy.
Gabe Joccas, the power guy.
I thought about going with Edge, but I could not turn down one of the top two,
probably the second best, if not, at least, the third best guard in this class.
To get Dramad McCoy, maybe the best cornerback,
KC. Concepcion, my number three wide receipts.
And Emmanuel Pregron, my number two interior offensive lineman.
I mean, that's elite. That's elite.
Top three players at their positions at the three biggest positions of need for the Titans right now.
Could not think of anything better.
Now, I will say this for Pregnone.
He needs to get better technically with his hands.
His timing, his placement, all of that stuff.
But, I mean, that's like the only knock that he has on.
his game. He's just a guard. And guards don't go high in the draft, so he'll fall to pick
number 35. Absolutely love what we're doing here with our first three picks. And then we
wait 30 picks to 66. And now it's time, now it's time to go to the edge. I had options at
center. Every good center was still on the board. Connor Lou, uh, hecked, Jake Slaughter, Logan Jones.
And then some other miscellaneous options. Trading Stukes, a defensive
that we know the Titans are interested in.
But with taking Germad McCoy,
I was like,
I don't need to go defensive back,
especially a cornerback for a little bit.
I know Stoops can do a lot of different things
in the secondary, but nonetheless.
Maybe we go linebacker here.
I think I might be underselling the Titans need for linebacker.
They may go linebacker earlier than I think,
Kyle Lewis,
Deontay Lawson.
I thought maybe running back.
Only Jeremiah Love and Judarian Price
had been selected up to this point at 6th.
Go Mike Washington, Jonah Coleman, Emmett Johnson.
Nah, running back ain't that big of a need in my opinion.
I could not pass on edge rusher anymore.
The Titans need a speed rusher desperately.
And the options were growing thin.
Danny Dennis Sutton, I always want to say Danny Denny,
like the guy, the director of Dune,
Denis, Villanuevo, whatever.
Obviously not a sinfile.
But
Danny Dennis Sutton
Ramello Hype
Jay Sean Barham
from Michigan
who's rising up boards
because people are seeing the versatility
he's a linebacker
he's kind of like a poor man's Rvel Reese
at this point
but I keep going back to this guy
and I really like this option
is Joshua Joseph's
out of Tennessee
6 3, 240
34 and a quarter inch arms
he has the length
this dude is explosive
off the line
a scrimmage explosive off the
and the Titans need a speed rusher
that can line up at the wide
nine and just explode off the
ball and run past offensive tackles.
That's what the Titans need. He's got length
for six force fumbles
in 2024, six
because he could just get his long
arms in there and disrupt the quarterback.
That is turnover potential.
That matters. That factors.
He's got good bend to run the arc.
He's got potential to beat
elite with his move set.
Right now he's more of just like a speed to power bull rush.
He's got a hook move that he uses,
but he's starting to use a little bit of an inside spin counter.
He's used some other cross chop type stuff.
He just needs a better rush plan.
He needs to have a more coordinated plan,
but he's flashed all the moves
and with the speed, the length, the bend,
the potential to use all these different moves.
And someone could just teach him a better plan,
we have an elite pass rusher here.
Now, he's not good against the run.
Not good against the run.
Not going to be able to set the edge.
He's going to be a designated pass rusher early on
unless you can put more mass on his body.
But he spent a lot of time at Tennessee
and didn't put more mass on his body,
so I don't know that it can happen.
But in the third round,
at pick number 66,
as our designated pass rusher,
when you have Femio
and you have Jermaine Johnson
as your early down edge setters,
John Franklin Myers,
who can play on the edge on early down,
We're bringing in Josh Joseph's on pass rushing downs and letting him do what he does best.
Fire off the ball.
Stay wide, bend, get to the quarterback,
use the long arms to create force fumbles and turnovers.
I don't care that he can't set the edge against the run.
I don't care that we need to teach him a more coordinated rush plan.
That's a guy who's got game-changing potential.
And for me to come out here, I'm going to praise myself for a minute here.
To get Dramad McCoy, potentially an elite boundary cornerback.
for the Titans.
To get Casey Concepcion,
a potential game-breaking,
explosive wide receiver who can play the Malik neighbor's
isolation role in Brian Dable's offense
and win against matchups vertically down the field.
To add Emmanuel Preggone to start day one.
Day one, at guard.
Incredible.
And then Joshua Joseph's, the speed rusher
with elite potential
to fill that specific need
that we need on the defensive line rotation
I mean, how could you find four better picks than that?
And then we're going to go to day three,
pick number 101,
and we're going to get our starting center folks.
Strap in, the mock draft continues.
Do want to let you know that today's episode

Fans, let's cap off today's edition of the Locked-on Titans podcast doing a seven-round mock draft.
Looking at a trade-down scenario where we get two first-round picks from the Dallas Cowboys
about to head into day three picks right now.
We still got some starters to get on the board, whether they start right away or could be potential starters down the line.
Before we dive in, do want to thank you for making Locked-on Titans your first list.

It's a small way to help support me, support the show,
join the Locked on Titans every day or club.
Now, but at Pick 101,
We're taking our starting center of the future.
Logan Jones out of Iowa, 6 foot 2, 300 pounds.
He ran a 7.46 3 cone.
A 7.7 in the 3 cone, if you're lower than a 7.7,
you got a great chance to be a really good offensive lineman.
That's a big predictor.
And not only was he below a 7.7, he ran a 7.46.
This guy has really, really great lateral quickness.
lateral agility. I could have went with Jake Slaughter,
but honestly I just wanted to take someone
different because I've taken Slaughter quite a bit.
Could have went with L.T. Overton is kind of that
inside, outside, defensive lineman.
Sam Rouched, the tight end and a Stanford real versatile.
Maybe Harold Perkins at linebacker, but I couldn't pass on
Logan Jones. Jones is ready to come in right away and start at center.
He has a ton of experience
on the best offensive line in college football,
constantly putting out professional offensive linemen
out of Iowa. He has elite icons.
to pick up twists and stunts, understand his assignment,
know where to go, pick up guys moving at the second level.
His technique with his hands, look, he's not the biggest guy.
He's not the strongest guy.
His anchor and pass protection, his power, his ability to drive guys,
his overall size.
He is not a big guy.
6-2-300.
But man, he, again, he's so smart, really good athlete.
Great technique, great range.
full understanding of his job.
He's an older guy too.
I mean, he's 24 and a half years old.
But that's part of the allure of Logan Jones, in my opinion.
I want Logan Jones to come in as an old man ready to play right away.
The Titans need a starting center to be ready to play right away.
Not a young pup who they got to develop and work to.
I want Logan Jones to start now.
And at Pick 101, the first pick of day three to get a guy who's going to be expected to be the starter from day one.
and let me remind you of this.
In Brian Dable's scheme,
he wants an athletic center
who's able to move the way that they do
certain things on the offensive line,
the way they change responsibilities
based on the front that they've seen,
using your center to get out.
So they do this thing called a cage tag
and it's something that I learned about this all season
where if you have a block
where a guy basically has to cross the face
of the defensive linemen
and it's going to be difficult for him.
All right, so say you have a guy in between the left guard and the center,
nose tackle in between.
And it's the center's job to cross his face, get in front of him,
and prevent him from getting to the play,
and then the guard is supposed to pull to the outside.
Well, you could call cage, cage, cage,
and the guard who has a leverage advantage on that nose tackle
was on his inside shoulder,
he can now just take the nose tackle
and the center will get out and pull.
So basically the guard in the center
switch responsibilities
based on how the defensive linemen line up
so that they have the best advantage
that they can take of the offensive linemen.
They're in the best position.
Well, you need an athletic center
who is able to execute that type of stuff
in Brian Davel's offense.
Usually he wants a big physical guards
and an athletic smaller center.
That's what he's looking for.
and Logan Jones fills that perfectly.
So we got a manual pregnone.
We got Logan Jones to start at right guard and center.
We got Joshua Joseph's to be our starting speed edge rusher.
We got Casey Concepcion and Jermod McCoy
to be potentially elite level talents.
I have dominated this draft class
and I've done it all while getting an extra third round pick
in the top 100 next year
that we could potentially move,
use to move up and get Jeremiah Smith or Cam Coleman.
or something like that. Tell me I ain't cooking right now.
Tell me this wouldn't be elite for the Tennessee Titans.
But now we drop back 40 picks and now we're taking dart throws.
At 142, I'm taking Ephesians Prysock, the cornerback out of Washington, length and speed.
6 foot 3, 196, 33 inch arms, we're in a 4-4-5-40.
He's long, he's fast, he's got good recovery ability down the sideline.
really good at playing in traffic and using his length to get on guys,
knock the ball away.
He's not an elite tackler.
He's a finesse guy.
He's not great at mirroring inside routes because he's tall and he's got high hips.
The ball production you would want to see from a guy with his long arms and his speed isn't quite there,
but he's going to be able to play special teams.
Him and Josh Williams are going to compete for that boundary corner backup spot,
and we're going to develop him as a long, tall corner that can help shut down zone windows
forward. A Fessian's Price Sock out of Washington, my pick in the fifth round at number 142.
Remember, we traded 144 to the Cowboys to facilitate the trade down.
So we go to 184 in the sixth round. I took Cole Wisniewski.
The big physical safety out of Texas Tech.
And he may be a safety, but I think he's really a nickel cornerback.
He's 6.3, 2, 14, 31-inch arms.
really smart player really understands route concepts, big, massive frame, really strong tackler.
He's a former linebacker who converted backwards to safety.
So I think he can play that nickel spot as a backup nickel, play some safety if needed,
mostly play on special teams.
He is going to cut his teeth on special teams as a former linebacker.
Great IQ.
He always knows where the ball is at.
His IQ says linebacker.
He's not the fastest guy.
Doesn't have deep speed.
Hasn't created a bunch of turnovers or anything like that.
Probably not going to be good in man coverage
and he's had some injuries.
But I'm telling you,
I think Cole West Nuski could be a great nickel early down,
big nickel option
and could develop into a good split safety,
two sides of the field playing cover.
cover 2, stuff like that.
Then we move to 194,
the last 6th round pick.
I'm taking Matthew Hibner,
the tight end out of SMU.
I think this guy has the chance to be a starting level player.
He's not Gronkowski,
but he reminds me of Gronk.
He's 6.4, 250,
rent a 475, 32.3-inch arms.
The way he has speed, it's unbelievable.
He's so fast for a tight end in a straight line.
That's what reminds me of Grunk is when he's running in a straight line,
he's got so much speed and so much momentum.
Down the seam, he's good with the ball on his hands because of the speed.
He's a good blocker who's good physical and nasty blocker,
good and contested catch situations, which is critical for Cam Ward.
And again, he's a good vertical tight end.
Doesn't have a lot of wiggle.
He's not going to juke you out or anything.
He's a straight line runner.
Doesn't have great route quickness ends and outs.
Again, he's a seam stretching type guy.
And he's got to get better with his hands in blocking,
more technical in blocking,
which a lot of these college players do.
But in the sixth round that late,
a guy that size with that straight line speed,
that yards after catchability,
who's also a good blocker.
Give me Matthew Hebner,
one of my favorite tight ends in the entire draft class.
And then finally, we're taking a high-up side pick at 225.
In the seventh round, our last pick.
Out of Louisiana Monroe, we're taking Jaden Dugger, the linebacker.
Former safety, 6'4, 240 pounds, 34.8 inch arms, almost 35 inch arms,
84 inch wingspan, incredible length.
He's a very good athlete as a former safety, good feel and coverage
because of that former experience at safety.
He's just lean right now and needs about 10 to 15 more pounds of mass to put on him.
He's got a, you know, he's not great IQ at linebacker because he hasn't been playing it for a long time.
Not good at IDN in the run game.
Again, that'll come with experience.
Doesn't have good experience shedding blockers, but he's got such great length that he just needs.
And again, Robert Sala takes late round linebackers and turns them into stars.
I think Jaden Dugger would be an incredible dart throw on day three
as somebody who can develop under Robert Sala and turn into an absolute freak.
With that length, that athleticism, that upside, Jaden Dugger.
Great pick.
So, I dominated this draft class.
Absolutely dominated.
We traded back with the Dallas Cowboys.
Pick 4, pick 12, or pick 12, pick 20 for pick number 4.
I gave them 144 and got back a third round pick next year.
We took Jermad McCoy, the cornerback out of Tennessee at 12.
We took Casey Concepcion, the wide receiver out of Texas.
A&M at number 20.
We followed that up with Emmanuel Pregnone at number 35 to be our starting right guard.
We got Joshua Joseph's at number 66, the edge rusher out of Tennessee to be our speed
rusher off the edge.
We got Logan Jones at center, the smart sound, good athlete with IQ, is ready to start right away.
After that, we threw some darts on date three with the big, tall, long, fast corner of Phasean
price socks.
We got Kool-West Nuski as a nickel safety dime linebacker,
versatile piece in our defense.
Matthew Hibner is a high-upside tight end
with good straight-line speed and blocking ability,
and Jaden Dugger, the high-upside linebacker,
who I think Robert Sala could turn into an absolute freak.
Again, I think I dominated this draft class,
and it shows you just how great a tradeback
like the one that we made with the Dallas Cowboys
could be for the Tennessee Titans.
But any further than that, and I think you get a little bit risky.
But with that being said, that is going to do it for me today, folks.
Grade this mock draft down below.
As always, I am your host, Tyler Rowland.
And this was Locked on Titans.
