Locked On Titans - Daily Podcast On The Tennessee Titans - Tennessee Titans NEED OFFENSIVE DEPTH at Running Back, Tight End & Backup Quarterback in Free Agency
Episode Date: March 6, 2026The Tennessee Titans have big holes at primary needs like wide receiver, edge and cornerback, but they also need to add depth at key spots like running back, tight end and quarterback. For running bac...k, depth names like Tyler Allgeier, Raachad White and Brian Robinson make a lot of sense whether they hope to draft Jeremiyah Love or not. Tight end is a spot where the Titans need a versatile player like Daniel Bellinger or Cade Otton to pair nicely with Gunnar Helm. Also, Will Levis could be a trade option so bringing in a veteran backup who can support Cam Ward is the perfect move and Tyrod Taylor has experience in Brian Daboll's offense, making him an excellent fit. We're all worried about the biggest positions of need that Titans need to fill in free agency,
but they need to make sure they get some offensive depth as well.
And I'll tell you who they should sign on today's edition of Locked on Titans.
You are Locked on Titans, your daily Tennessee Titans podcast, part of the Locked on Podcast network,
your team every day.
Welcome to the Locked on Titans podcast.
I am your host, Tyler Rowland Titans fans.
edition of the Locked on Titans podcast is brought to you by Game Time.

I am going to go over the depth positions on offense that the Tennessee Titans must address in free agency.
We'll look at the best running back options for the Titans.
We'll talk about tight ends who would fit perfectly with Gunner Helm and Brian Daibold's system.
And I'll tell you who should be the real backup quarterback to Cam Ward because it's not going to be well-level.
Before we get into it, do want to thank you for making Locked on Titans.
Your first listen each and every day.
Remember Monday through Friday, Tennessee Titans content all year round, always for free.
Make sure that you get subscribed, stay subscribed.
It's your team every day.
Speaking of every day, shout out to my everydayers out there.
Tune in Monday through Friday.
Couldn't do it without you guys.
If you aren't an everydayer, you need to be one.
Again, free agency kicks off on Monday.
There's going to be so much news, so many rumors, so many reports,
and I'm going to have it all here for you on the show.
Again, we're going over depth options on today's show on offense,
but I've already done edge, wide receiver, cornerback.
We've done safety, linebacker, interior defensive line options.
I even hit punters and kickers for you guys.
So make sure that you go check out those episodes
to get you ready for free agency next week and Sunday.
I'll be back with my full free agency preview
and who I think the Tennessee Titans actually signed.
But with that being said, again,
the Tennessee Titans need to add depth on the offensive side of the ball.
And I think running back is a position where they absolutely could add someone.
And this is whether Tony Pollard is cut, whether Tony Pollard isn't cut,
whether the Titans get Jeremiah Love in the draft and cut Tony Pollard then,
whether the Titans don't get Jeremiah Love and just want to have three better running backs.
Number one, Tony Pollard is not a power running back.
He's terrible in goal line situations, he's terrible in short-yardage situations.
and he's somebody who you cannot trust in those spots.
So the Titans need to make sure they get a north and south runner
that is able to hit those holes, get those short yardage conversions,
and in Brian Dable's offensive system,
it has been obvious throughout every stop
that he has had a downhill runner, a guy who gets north and south.
So I think whether the Titans cut pollard,
whether they don't cut poll or whatever they do,
I think that they do need to make an addition at running back
and the price of that running back
will depend on what they do with Tony Pollard.
But nonetheless, getting into the options,
the number one running back on the board is Kenneth Walker.
And if you watched my bonus episode on Friday afternoon,
I am hearing that the Titans are not in on Kenneth Walker.
So, yes, he's got great balance, great patience as a runner, breaks tackles.
Sometimes he can be a little too patient and not hit the hole hard enough.
He's got some injury issues.
He's also never been a full-time feature of running back.
so is he worth $13, $15 million per year?
I think that's why the Tennessee Titans are out on Walker.
Another guy who I think the Titans are not going to be in on Travis E.TN.
I think E.N. ends up with the Kansas City Chiefs.
I think Kenneth Walker ends up with the New York Giants or the Minnesota Vikings.
But nonetheless, I think E.T.N. is a great speed back.
He's very explosive. Can catch the ball out of the backfield.
But he's not the physical power runner that the Titans are looking for anyway.
So Walker and E.T.N. are the best on the market, but they don't really fit.
A guy who I do think does fit, but I think will be a little bit too pricey for what the Titans are wanting, considering the skill set is Rico Dowdell.
Rico Dowdell is 6 foot, 200 pounds, he's strong, he's explosive, he's a bigger back than what he looks like.
He doesn't necessarily have the speed, the long distance speed to be a home run hitter or anything like that.
But Dowdell was a good player.
I just don't think that the perfect combination of skill set and price is going to
leading the Titans to a guy like Rico Dattle.
I think he'll get a better opportunity and a better price tag
than the Titans are willing to pay for his level of talent.
Now a guy who I think might be squarely in the area for the Tennessee Titans
and I'll be honest,
if the Titans don't cut Tony Pollard,
I don't think this guy is going to work
because he's going to get more money than the Titans are going to want to pay.
But if they do cut Tony Pollard,
I think this would be a perfect fit.
whether the Titans draft Jeremiah Love,
whether the Titans just go with him and Taji Spears
and draft a guy later in the draft.
Whatever the Titans do at running back,
this guy fits great.
And it's Tyler Algier.
I've been talking about Tyler Algier for months at this point.
He is an underrated player.
You may remember him as,
oh, that's the guy who's stealing carries from Bijan Robinson
with Arthur Smith when he was the coach of the Atlanta Falcons.
Oh, that's the guy who gets too many opportunities in Atlanta
when they should all go to Bijan.
Well, you know why?
Because he is a hammer.
All right, reminds me of the hammer of Baravia
from the Superman movie.
That's my comp for Tyler Algier.
Power, leg drive,
the ability to win and goal line
in short-yarded situations.
He is a north and south runner
who would fit perfectly
in the multiple scheme run system
that Brian Daible has.
Daible has always had a downhill runner.
Think about him as the Cam Scataboo,
And if you had Tyler Algier and you had Tajay Spears,
you would be good to go in every element that you need
moving forward into the draft.
And if you get Jeremiah Love, then great.
If you don't get Jeremiah Love, then great.
Algier is one of the most underrated running backs in the NFL.
He would be perfect.
Now, he doesn't have great speed.
He doesn't have great wiggle.
But you know who does have speed and great wiggle?
Tadier Spears.
So it would be a perfect combination.
Tyler Algier may not be a better, quote-unquote, running back than Tony Pollard,
but he fits so much better with the offense and with what Spears brings to the table.
The Titans sucked, quite frankly,
in short-yardage and goal-line situations last year
because they didn't have a running back that can do it.
And honestly, Cam Ward did not look too comfortable doing the tush push
or quarterback sneaking.
Like, he stayed too high, he took too many false steps, he was not very good at it.
So they need a running back that they can count on to bludgeon through the hole and pick up those short yardage situations and Algier is one who can do it now a guy who I really like who I think the scheme fit may not be as there but I like him for a cheaper price because I think Al Jira is gonna get six, seven, maybe eight million dollars at max.
Another guy in that range is Rashad White, who was the backup to Bucky Irving in Tampa Bay.
I think White has more talent than what he's shown based on the production that he's put out there.
But I'll be honest, Rashad White isn't that power downhill back.
He's a smooth, quick, patient runner.
He's kind of like a poor man's labion bell type guy.
He can be a little too patient.
Like with Kenneth Walker, like sometimes he just needs to hit the freaking hole and go.
you're dancing, you're waiting, and then you take a loss.
He isn't a power back either.
So I like Rashad White.
I really do as a player.
But is he a fit for what I think the Titans are looking for?
Not really.
Now, a guy who is and is going to be even cheaper,
we're looking at $3 to $5 million per year,
is Brian Robinson.
And Brian Robinson played with, well, not played with,
but was with Robert Sala in San Francisco.
Last year, Brian Robinson is a downhill power runner
that breaks tackles.
He doesn't have great wiggle.
He doesn't have great versatility either.
He's not going to be a guy who's catching the ball a ton out of the backfield.
He doesn't have great speed and all of that.
But nonetheless, I think that Brian Robinson as a fit with Tage Spears
and then maybe Jeremiah...
If you have Jeremiah Love, Brian Robinson, and Tage Spears,
that is one of the best backfields in the entire NFL.
And I think it makes a ton of sense.
And he's the cheapest guy that we've talked about so far.
So I think that would be
where the Titans would want to come in.
Now, there are some other guys on the market
who maybe the Titans look at.
I mean, I can't sit here with certainty
and rule them out, but I just don't think they make sense.
Naji Harris, Harris is a power runner,
but coming off an Achilles injury at running back,
I don't know how I feel about that.
J.K. Dobbins, again, another guy, good runner,
but always hurting, is he that power back?
No, not really.
Kenny Gainwell is absolutely not a power back.
and Titans have Taji Spears skill set,
which is what Kenny Gainwell does well.
Aaron Jones, again, released by the Vikings.
Aaron Jones has been a good player for most of his career,
but at this stage, the injuries, the age, the wear and tear.
He's not the power runner the Titans need.
I don't really see that as a fit.
Isaiah Pacheco, he runs hard for sure,
but even the Chiefs would take him out in short-yarded situations
to go with Kareem Hunt.
So I just don't
I don't see any of those guys
as a fit for what I think
the Tennessee Titan should be looking for to pair with Tage Spears
again, if they move on from Tony Pollard.
Like I mentioned earlier this week, there is a world where
they keep Tony Pollard until the draft
and if they get Jeremiah Love,
they trade Pollard, they cut Pollard
or if they don't, they keep Pollard.
But if they keep Pollard and they keep Tajier spears,
I think they still need one of these guys
to fill that powerback role
because it certainly isn't Tony Pollard.
With that being said, Tide End is a position that the Titans absolutely must go get some depth that.
I don't buy the Chica Conquo stuff.
I think he's going to be way too expensive and the Titans should not re-sign him.
So I'll tell you some players who I think do make sense for the Tennessee Titans at Tide End in Brian Dable's system.

Let's continue today's edition of the Locked-on Titans podcast.
It is our last free agency preview episode before things start to get crazy on Monday.
I've done edge, wide receiver, cornerback.
I did interior D-line, linebacker, safety, punter, tag, or guard, center.
I didn't do offensive tackle because bring back Aaliyudo.
The Titans don't need to go out and sign an offensive tackle anyway.
So now we're doing running back, tight end, back up, quarterback.
quarterback as well and again my free agency predictions my full free agency predictions on what I think the Titans actually do is going to be coming out on Sunday night but with that being said at Tide End I think Dallas Goddard is the number one tight end on the market
6 foot 5 255 pounds he's 31 years old though I think he's gonna get 10 to 12 million dollars probably on a two year deal like two years 25 two years 24 and quite honestly I think that's out of the Titans price
range for a depth tight end. Gunner Helm is tight end one. But here's the thing, Brian
Dable's offense, go look at Buffalo, go look at his time in New York. Brian Dable's offense
always has two traditional tight ends. He runs the Earhart Perkins system, which think about
the Patriots, think about the Colts. They've always had traditional tight ends. Not the Chicka
Conquo, Isaiah likely, Kyle Pitts types. That's not
what Brian Daibble has gravitated towards.
Now there's one player that I do recall
that had that kind of skill set that he had
during his time with the Giants and we'll talk about him
in a second. But again, Dallas Goddard does
fit that mold. He's a good receiver.
He's a physical player. He's an okay
blocker. He's getting older.
He doesn't have speed but he's a smart guy,
good hands, savvy route
runner, reliable. That could
be at the top
of the list. But I just don't think that's where
the Titans are going to go. Now, getting into
more realistic options, I think David
Ninjoku could make some sense. Again, big body tight end, 6-4-246. He's 30 years old though. About
$8 to $10 million. I expect him to go back to the Atlanta Falcons and go back to Kevin
Stefansky. So I like David Ninjoku. He's athletic, good size, great at contested catches,
runs good routes with good hip-sink, but he's been injured. He's maybe not as good of a blocker
as what I'm looking for. He is a top option on the market, but I just think that Goddard and
and Joku are a little bit too expensive
for where the Titans are going to be looking to go.
Now, my number one option,
like my number one real option
for the Titans is Cade Otten.
Okay?
From the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 6'5, 250,
he's 27 years old.
So he's right in the age
where he can stay with the Titans for a couple of years.
I think he's going to be anywhere from
$6 to $8 million per season,
which is right in the range
where I think the Titans need to be here.
great size. He is a really good blocker, a really good blocker.
Runs good routes as well, solid hands.
He is one of the best past blocking tight ends in the entire NFL.
Like, he may be the best pass blocking tight end in the entire NFL.
Now here's the thing with K. Dodd.
He doesn't bring anything special.
It's funny, his name is C, Otten, Cotton.
He's, you know, he's just typical.
right. Not an elite athlete. Not in a vertical threat. Not great at contested catch situations.
You know, he's just not special in anything except pass protection. You know, he's a good blocker.
Is he George Kittle, elite moving bodies everywhere? No. But he can get up to the second level and move some people around.
He'll be good on the in line. He can put his hand in the dirt. Him and Gunner Helm together would be a tremendous duo.
That's exactly the kind of tight end that I'm looking for for the Titans to bring.
Now, if you want to go with somebody who I think makes even more sense for the Titans in the same vein as Kate Otton,
Daniel Bellinger. Now, I think Kate Otten is a better player than Daniel Bellinger.
But Bellinger, 6'5, 250 pounds, 25 years old, so a very young player,
and he just played in Brian Dable's offense for multiple years with the New York Giants.
I'm thinking he's going to get $5 to $6 million a year.
The Titans should give him a two-year, $12 million dollar deal.
and bring him in.
He is just an all-around tight-in.
Similar to K-Dot.
He's a good blocker.
He's a reliable catcher.
He can be versatile with where he lines up.
But does he do anything special?
Is he a match-up nightmare?
Does he have the yards after catchability of Chick-a-Conquo?
Is he a vertical threat down the field?
Like Isaiah likely, is he a blocker like George Kittle?
No.
He's just a solid B all the way around.
just everything that you ask a tight end to do,
he's solid at it.
But that's exactly what the Titans need.
Gunner Helm is elite in contested catch situations.
Gunner Helm is an excellent route runner.
Gunner Helm can get down the seam.
Gunner Helm has great hands.
Gunner Helm became a much better blocker later in the year.
Gunner Helm is the Titan star tight end of the future.
So you get a guy like Daniel Bellinger
who knows Brian Dable's offense,
who is solid across the board and reliable.
Cade Otton and Daniel Bellinger are far in a way.
My favorite tight-end options for the Tennessee Titans.
Now, if they want to go even further down the room,
I got to go with my former Dayton Flyer, baby, Adam Troutman.
Troutman, 6'5, 250 pounds, 29 years old.
He is an elite blocker at the tight-end position.
I think he's looking at, you know, $3 to $5 million per season once he gets a contract.
29 years old, so he's a little bit older than Belling or Otten,
but if they just want to go get a big physical blocking tight end
who could still give you a little bit in the passing game,
that's Adam Troutman.
Again, great size, phenomenal blocker.
Very smart player.
He's just not an insane athlete at this age,
not really going to be a vertical threat down the field, down the scene.
He's not a number one tied end,
but he doesn't have to be.
He is a depth tight end.
So if the Titans can't get Otten, can't get Daniel Bellinger,
Adam Troutman is the guy that I think makes a ton of sense.
Now, another guy who I think makes a ton of sense,
but might get more money than people expect.
He was tight end three for the Baltimore Ravens for the last few years,
but Charlie Kohler, 6-6-265.
So the biggest guy that we've talked about so far,
he's only 27 years old.
Estimations for him are like $5 to $8 million.
I think somebody might give Charlie Kohler a chance to be their number one tight end
and they might give him $9 to $12 million per season.
He is an elite blocker anywhere in the formation.
Doesn't matter.
He is an excellent blocker.
He's an okay receiver, okay receiver,
but he's had limited opportunities in Baltimore.
So maybe with more opportunities in an improved role,
Kohler could really pop.
There's a lot of people in the league who are high on him
and think that, you know, the Ravens had likely.
They had Mark Andrews.
Kohler didn't get the opportunities that he deserved.
So if the Titans took a chance on him,
I would be hype about it.
I just think it's less likely
because I think he's going to get more money
than maybe what some are thinking.
Now, if the Titans go a different direction,
if they look for something else,
the options that could make sense
as more receiving tight ends,
if you want a big slot wide receiver
at tight end,
Darren Waller,
he's the one guy
who didn't fit the mold that I've explained,
in Brian Dable's offense.
They had Darren Waller for a cup of coffee in New York, I think it was.
Greg Dolcich is another guy who's basically a big slot receiver that plays tight end.
Tyler Conklin isn't as much of a big slot,
but he's much more of a receiving tight end than he is, you know, a blocking tight end.
He doesn't really feel the blocking need and he's older.
If they want Chick-a-Conquo back, then maybe they do go after an Isaiah likely,
as Zach Ertz who are pure receiving tight ends at this point.
Maybe they go the total opposite way
and they go for a guy who can't catch the ball at all
but is purely a big offensive tackle at tight end.
Chris Manhurtz.
Manhurtz was just tight end three in New York.
Think about the tight ends for Brian Daibel last year.
Daniel Bellinger, Theo Johnson, Chris Manherts.
Like, I'm sorry, I just don't buy that the Titan
maybe the Titans go bring Chig back
but also bring in Chris Manhurtz.
hurts. So they have a pure blocking
tight end, they have the in-between and
Gunner Helm, and then they have the pure receiving tight-end
and Chick-a-Conquil. Maybe that's the move.
Maybe. But
either way, Kate Aughton,
Daniel Bellinger, Charlie Kohler, Adam Troutman,
those are the guys that I would be most interested
in at tight-end. And when I do
my predictions on Sunday night, I am
going to have one of those guys as a Tennessee
Titan. But with that in mind, time to talk about backup
quarterback. And again, I don't believe that when
get to the season, it's going to be Willevis.

Titans fans, let's cap off today's edition of the Locked on Titans podcast.
Again, looking at depth positions, the Titans need to hit in free agency.
We talked about running back, we talked about tight end.
Now I want to talk about backup quarterback because again,
I believe that Will Levis will be traded before the NFL season.
And I would bet that if we see a backup quarterback,
signed in free agency to the Tennessee Titans,
that only further confirms to me
that they do not plan on having Will Levis around.
Now, who could be that backup quarterback veteran in free agency?
I got some good names for you,
and there are some names that I'm very, very high on
that make a ton of sense.
Before we get into it, though,

But with that being said, again,
I don't think that Will Levis is going to be on this team
by the time the season starts.
I think that he will be traded.
I hope that he's traded before the drafts
so the Titans can get a late round draft pick out of him
like a fifth or a six.
I think a conditional sixth round pick
where it's a sixth round pick
but if Will Levis plays a certain amount of games
that turns into a fifth round pick
maybe because it's a next year pick
that you'd have to do that with.
Maybe they do a conditional
fifth that becomes a fourth. Either way,
get Willis out of the locker room.
And the reason that I feel like that is,
there is no way
that Will Levis
is what's best for Cam Ward.
And Cam Ward is the Tennessee
Titans future. People say,
oh, let them compete. Maybe the...
No. Cam Ward is the quarterback
of the future for the Tennessee Titans
no matter what is happening.
And would you rather have a veteran
quarterback who knows that they're a backup
and is focused on
making Cam Ward the best that they could possibly be,
or would you want somebody who's mad at Cam Ward
and who, oh, that should be my spot
and is bitter and jealous and angry
about the way things played out?
Who is actually the best for Cam Ward?
The competition with Will Levis
or a veteran who's going to teach him how to prepare,
teach him how to get ready,
go through film with him, make him better,
give him advice.
What's actually better?
A mentor or a competitor?
To me, it's clearly a mentor.
a mentor. Football is competitive enough. Okay?
So, who could be that mentor to Cam Ward? The number one guy on my list is Tyrod Taylor.
And not only is Tyrod Taylor an experienced veteran who can help Cam Ward, but he's a guy that if the Titans needed to win a couple of games,
he'd be able to go out there and maybe get that done. Also, Tyrod Taylor played in Brian Dable's offense for multiple years with the New York Giants.
So he knows the system. He can teach it to Cam Ward. And like with Brandon Allen,
last year, having a coach in the quarterback room with Cam Ward to translate the terminology
and translate the system, but also having a guy who's good enough to maybe win you a couple
of games if Cam Ward gets a hamstring pull and he's out for two to three weeks.
You need somebody to steal the ship until the captain is back.
Tyrod Taylor could get you a win or two in that scenario.
So Tyrod Taylor, by far my favorite option, whether it be the connections, whether it be the level of
player that he is, all of that makes all the sense in the world. Tyrod Taylor, my number
one backup quarterback option, and I would take him over Will Levis anyway. Mitch Trubisky,
another guy who makes sense. He knows he's a backup. No, he didn't play with Brian Dable
in Buffalo, but the system in Buffalo is pretty similar to what Brian Dable was doing,
so it's not like it's going to be completely foreign to him. And again, Mitch Trubisky is a guy
that if Cam Ward were to go down for, look, if Cam Ward goes out for a long period of time,
the Titans are screwed anyways.
It doesn't matter who the backup is.
There's no backup out there, in my opinion, that's available
that's good enough for them to hold down the fort
if Cam Ward's out for a long period of time.
At that point, if Cam Ward is like out for the season
in the middle of November or something,
let's just lose and get a better draft pick, you know?
But if Cam Ward's out for two to three weeks
and you need somebody to hold it down, Mitch Trubisky can absolutely do that.
So I like Trubisky as an option as well.
Snoop Huntley
makes a ton of sense.
Former Pro Bowl quarterback, right?
I say that tongue in cheek, of course.
The Pro Bowl is a joke at this point.
But nonetheless,
Snoop Huntley's a pretty solid backup.
One of the better backups in the NFL.
He's won games.
He's had success.
And what I like about Snoop Huntley is
Brian Daibble has had a lot of success in the past
with quarterback run game.
Think Josh Allen.
Think Daniel Jones.
Think Jackson Dark.
Think Jalen Hertz at Alabama.
Snoop Huntley could give the Titans an advantage if he had to play
because the Titans could change their offense to include a lot more QB run elements.
And Snoop Huntley could execute those.
And then, yeah, the Titans have a backup quarterback out there,
but the team that they're playing isn't going to be able to scout properly
because Cam Ward and Snoop Huntley are going to play different ways.
Now, some people are going to say their skill sets are so different.
I don't think that makes sense.
But to me, that almost gives you an advantage because it's like, yeah,
the quarterback that we, it's like Jordan Love and Malik Willis in Green Bay.
Yeah, they're close enough to where they can run the same offense.
But if you've got to prepare for Malik Willis compared to Jordan Love,
that's a totally different scenario.
Same thing, Cam Ward to Snoop Huntley, that would be different.
So I personally really like Snoop Huntley as an option as well.
Now, I don't think that he's going to be looking for this kind of opportunity,
but Gino Smith was just released by the Raiders.
He's probably going to go to like Minnesota, Arizona, Pittsburgh, Miami,
The Jets, actually get the Jets, Gino Smith reunion, hilarious,
but he's going to want an opportunity where he could at least believe
that he could be the starter.
You know what I mean?
And that's not going to be in Tennessee.
Cam Ward is the bona fide starter period.
But if Gino was accepting of a backup role,
I would love Gino Smith behind Cam Ward.
Now that's a real high-level backup right there.
Now, some other options that are out there
that I don't think make as much sense.
Jimmy G. I've heard that he,
He's going to Arizona with Mike Lafleur.
If not, yeah, Jimmy G's a good backup quarterback.
Jimmy Garoppel.
A lot of people like get Garner Minchew.
He tore his ACL against the Titans.
Like, Garner Minchus probably not going to be ready to be involved
until the season already began.
And I mean, maybe the Titans signed Garner Minchew
and are like, okay, we're going to keep Will Levis into preseason.
And then when we trade Will Levis before the season,
then Minchu will be ready.
And now we have two backups and we're good to go.
But I just don't see that.
Now, if Minchu was perfectly healthy, then cool.
I'd be fine with Gardner Minchew.
He's a solid backup.
I see some people say Sam Howe.
I think Howe is a guy who still wants for an opportunity to prove that he could be a starter in the NFL.
I don't know if he checks that veteran mentor box that I really want to check.
Now, some other guys who would check that box, but I just don't think make a lot of sense.
Russell Wilson.
I know Russell Wilson was in New York last year, so maybe that makes sense.
But Russ is kind of a jerk.
and not like he's a-hole all the time,
but he thinks he's better than everybody.
He had his own office in Denver and wouldn't let other players come in.
He views himself as, you know, almighty above his teammates.
He's not one of the guys.
So is he really going to be somebody to mentor Cam Ward?
I don't really think I want him to be a guy to mentor Cam Ward.
But just on football talent alone,
Russell Wilson would be a good backup.
But I just don't know if he's the right guy you want in the locker room
when he pretends like he's in the penthouse and everyone else is in the garage.
He's a, you know, I'm better than you type guy.
And I don't know if that's what the Titans want.
Kirk Cousins, he still wants to start.
And if he's going to take a backup role,
I don't think it's going to be in Tennessee.
Joe Flacco's same thing.
He might be able to get a starting opportunity with the Arizona Cardinals.
I don't think he's going to be the guy to come in and back up Cam Ward.
So I just don't see Russ or Cousins or Flacco as legitimate options.
But with that being said, let me know what your depth favorites are at these three positions.
