Locked On Titans - Daily Podcast On The Tennessee Titans - Tennessee Titans OPTIONS GET SLIM in Free Agency at KEY SPOTS & Major Details on NEW UNIFORM REVEAL
Episode Date: March 11, 2026The Tennessee Titans have made it through three days of free agency and while they did a lot on Day 1 and added depth on Day 2, some key positions are getting slim like edge rusher and center as targe...ts fly off the board. The Titans will need to move quickly if they hope to add anyone of real value before the logical options are all gone. Thursday is a big day for Titans fans as the new logo and uniforms are set to be revealed. This makes it the perfect time to confirm certain details we know are true and discuss the Titans making a big mistake by not live-streaming the event to their worldwide fanbase. Either way, it is an exciting time and what we DO KNOW about the new brand is very encouraging. Finally, Cam Ward is back throwing the football as revealed by "Select QB Athletics" on Instagram and that should be music to Titans fans ears as the good news keeps coming in. It's officially panic time for the Tennessee Titans at their two biggest needs as the pickings get very slim on day three of free agency.
I'll explain on today's edition of Locked on Titans.

as the options get very slim after three days of free agency.
Also, we're gonna go over all of the recent details on the Tennessee Titans' new
logo, new uniform, and I do have some good news for you.
Cam Ward is throwing a football once again and we have proof.

Tune in Monday through Friday.
Couldn't do it without you guys.
If you aren't in every day or well, what are you doing?
The Titans have plenty of needs that they still need to address,
even though they aren't and I'm going to be here to break that down.
The new uniforms, the new logo, come out on Thursday night.
I'm going to be live to break down that with you as well.
And the draft is right around the corner.
So make sure that you stay locked in
with the number one Tennessee Titans podcast in the world.
Locked on Titans.
But with that being said, again,
it is time to press the panic button at edge
and at center and we start at edge rusher
where the Titans simply let everybody
go off the market on day three
and they made an edge signing
but honestly it's kind of a slap in the face
when you look at what's going on at the position
now number one I know that there are going to be some people who say
well Tyler they traded for Jermaine Johnson
they have Femiola Dejo I'm sorry
you cannot go into the NFL draft
with a massive hole at starting edge
and I like Femi
have been a Femi defender throughout the process.
But he played half the season last year.
He broke his leg.
He looked incredibly raw during that.
And Femi can start on early downs.
All right, he can be an early down edge setter.
Okay, sure.
All right.
But who's going to be the starting edge rusher
when the Titans go to rush the passer?
It can't be Femiola Dajio.
You can't have Jermaine Johnson, Jeffrey Simmons,
John Franklin Myers,
and Femi, as you're starting pass rushers,
like that can't be the case.
and we'll talk about it on Sunday night show when I do a seven round mock draft after the first week of free agency
But all you people who wanted Jeremiah Love well
If you're gonna tell me it needs to be Rubin Vain or David Bailey or R. R. Val Rees
Well you can't get both so you can't be somebody who wants Jeremiah love and then also be okay with what the Titans have done at edge
And the big problem is all the different people that came off the board at edge
Trey Hendrickson comes off the board early and
the day, okay, the Titans were probably never in on that.
They were never reported to be in on that
other than a terrible report that came from a local reporter
that made no sense at all that said they were in on Hendrickson and Walker.
Sometimes I think people just want to try to make me look bad
so they'll report stuff that isn't even true
just because it goes against what I am telling you.
The Titans were never in on Kenneth Walker.
They were never in on Trey Hendrickson.
But Hendrickson comes off the board and then the Domino's start to go.
Nick Chubb off the board.
K. Levan Chase on, off the board.
Josh Uche, off the board.
All gone.
Now, what are the Titans left with?
Maybe they go out and they, and here's the thing.
When you have Germain Johnson and you have Femiola Dejo
who are both power rushers.
Think about it in Madden terms.
You know, they have archetypes for players.
That is a simple way for people to understand.
Germain Johnson and Femme are both power rushers.
They're not speed rushers.
And Gus Bradley told us at his,
opening press conference that they want to power rusher on one side and they want a speed
rusher on the other side and throughout Robert Salah's career he has typically had that he had a
Will McDonald then he had a Bryce Huff you know what I mean so who is the speed rusher they don't
have one and who's left I guess you could go with Joey Bosa is he gonna want to come to
Tennessee Hassan Reddick do you remember when Hassan Reddick sat out like a whole year with the
New York Jets when Robert Sala was there
to sign Hassan Reddick.
Maybe they go after Azizu Jol.
Nope, Azizzo Jolori goes
to Atlanta, so that's not an option
either. Cleveland Farrell?
You know, like, he's not a speed rusher.
Y. J. Eponessa,
they aren't speed rushers.
So who would it be?
Arnold Epiquete
is the only one
that is really left. And then the Titans
go out and
they sign an edge rusher, and I'm going to be
honest. It literally just happened.
as I came on to record here.
And when I tell you this, you don't need to know this person's name.
You literally don't need to know their name.
They played six snaps for the Kansas City Chiefs.
They have six and a half snaps in four years with Kansas City.
I mean, we're talking about a complete non-factor, a camp body,
somebody who really isn't even that much to know.
Malik Herring, who is with the Kansas City Chiefs,
who Mike Borganzi got as an undrafted free agent.
four years ago. Like, that is a one-year,
non-guaranteed training camp body guy who probably doesn't even make the roster.
Like, what are they going to do with Edge?
I mean, at this point, if they don't take an edge at number four,
who's going to be the starting pass rusher on passing downs?
We have to start at this point thinking about
like DPRs, which is designated pass rusher,
like an R Mason Thomas or a cash,
Cassius Howl or Romello height, like the options for the Titans at Edge are totally different at this point
because they have multiple power edge rushers. They don't have any speed rushers at all.
And all the guys who made sense, again, Chayson, Yuchay, Chubb, Ujali, off the board.
And then the Titans' response to that is, we're going to sign Malik Herring.
Like, what in the world, man? What in the world?
I just don't understand.
Maybe they go out and they swing another trade.
Maybe they trade draft picks for a speed rusher.
Sure, I guess that could be a possibility.
But if they were looking to do something at edge in free agency,
you know, other than Arnold Epiquete,
I don't see anybody.
I don't see anybody who makes sense.
And then you look at Center and Dylan Porum,
who I've been talking about for,
week now. Goes to the New York Jets. Elton Jenkins goes to the Browns. Luke Fortner
goes to the Panthers. They can't even get Cory Levin back. Corey Levin just went to Atlanta
to be with Bill Callahan again. So who are your options now? Ethan Posich, 30 year old from
the Browns who I like but does he fit? Graham Glasgow who's 34 years old. You want to get
Andre James who's been injured for years? You want to bring back Lloyd Cushingberry?
You're gonna go with Jackson Slater and give him a shot.
You're actually going to start with Schlotman?
Like, what are we doing?
The Titans are literally doing nothing at some of their biggest positions of need
where they don't just need depth.
They need starters.
And there are no options left that are good enough in free agency.
They better get Kevin Zitler back.
Because, like, what are you going to do?
You're going to start Austin Slotman
and Jackson Slater at Center and Guard
in front of Cam Warden a critical year two?
Cordell Volson?
You know, like, they just, they sat back
and they did everything on day one
and then they essentially did nothing of value
on day two or day three.
When they still have starting spots remaining
that should not be filled with rookies.
Maybe pick number four,
your first round pick
should come in and start right away.
But like, you can't count on day two, day three
rookies to come in and be starters.
And then what are they going to do at depth at safety?
Kevin Byrd went to the Patriots.
Gross.
Throw up in my mouth.
Nick Cross went to the commanders.
So, Jason Penock, Gino Stone,
Andre Sisko, maybe Jaquan Brisker,
at linebacker.
Everybody's tagging me in some app called the real app
I don't even know what that is, honestly.
But they had the Titans getting Bobby O'Caricay at linebacker.
That would be cool.
But there's nothing confirming that right now.
And there was a fake report from a fake Twitter account that everybody got got by
that said the Titans were signing him.
The real app, whatever the heck that is,
probably got got by the same fake Twitter account too.
Now, if that happens, then obviously great.
Bobby O'Karek is the best linebacker left.
Willie Gathe.
Leo Chenal went off the board. Titans miss out on those guys as well.
Are they going to do anything at running back?
I liked Chris Rodriguez.
He got let go by the commanders and then immediately signed with the Jacksonville Jaguar.
It's like literally banged before I could even snap a finger.
So it's like all of these spots still remain that they need depth at.
They need starters at.
And they just haven't done anything as all these options go off the board.
So again, I'm not worried about safety, linebacker,
running back, like, yeah, the Titans have depth issues there, sure.
But they need real starters at edge, at center, at right guard,
and they have done nothing about it.
And again, I think it's fair to press the panic button on edge and on center for certain.
Because I'm going to assume for my own sanity that Kevin Zitler is back.
But with that being said, let's move past the free agency
because the Tennessee Titans are revealing new uniforms and a new logo.
on Thursday night.
Do want to let you know that today's episode is brought to you by Fan Dual Sportsbook.
Look, college basketball is nonstop.
You got big games, tight spreads, momentum swings every single night from early tip balls
to late night West Coast shootouts.
There's always action on the board.
And now FanDuel is giving you a way to turn that college basketball energy
into even bigger potential wins with a college basketball parlay process.
You can build any college hoops parlay that you want. Rivalry games, ranked matchups, whatever fits your read, you can mix spreads, totals, player props to match how you see the slate playing out. Then you can apply the profit boost and instantly bump up your potential payout. Go safe, go bold, ride with the team that you've been following all season. It's your parlay, your style, and now with more upside behind it.
Head to fandle.com to get started.
That's fandle.com, fandle.
Play your game.
Fans, let's continue today's edition of the Locked-on Titans podcast.
Again, we talked about how pickings are getting slim
at the positions the Tennessee Titans still need to address,
and I'm worried about it.
I think it's fair to be worried about it.
They're going to put a bomb in front of Cam Ward on the offensive line,
maybe at two different spots.
Like, that is just unacceptable with the money
that they had. You go out and you sign three cornerbacks.
You can't get one starting interior offensive linemen.
It just is preposterous to me.
They better have a good plan to fix that problem.
But regardless, let's move away from free agency
because this is a big week for the Tennessee Titans
not only because of free agency,
but because of the new uniforms,
the new logo, the new brand for the Tennessee Titans.
All right.
and we have some details
that I wanted to come back before
things happen at 8.45 Eastern, 7.45 Central
and tell you what to expect.
So there are certain things that have been confirmed
by various different reports.
Zach Cohen on Twitter, A to Z Sports,
some other outlets and things
have confirmed some things.
So all of this is confirmed.
The circle logo
with the T in the middle, the three stars around it,
and then the white and red circle around it,
that everyone's seen circling online,
that's real.
That is the logo.
Okay?
That has been confirmed.
That is the Tennessee Titans new primary logo.
It's a fact.
Whether you like it, whether you don't like it,
that's up for you to decide.
That's not up for me to decide.
at the end of the day, but here, it looks just like this.
Red circle around the outside.
Okay?
It's got the white circle inside the red,
the light tightens blue around the T
inside the two circles with the three stars around it.
That is the primary logo and what it's going to look like.
Now, the T, the points on the T are nubbed off.
are not pointy and that that is unfortunate in my opinion that is the one thing about the logo
that I do not like I don't like that the T isn't pointy I wanted the pointy T I like points okay
I always like vampires and things like that with the pointing the sharp points I don't know it looks good to me
I don't like the the sawed off nubs all right but that is what it's going to look like it's the
red and white circle around the three stars and the nubbed off T that is the new primary logo that is
confirmed. We know that for a fact.
What else is confirmed?
Is they're going to have a white helmet, which I am hype about.
I have been saying all along, the Tennessee Titans need to have a white helmet.
Like, it looks so much better when I play with the Titans on Madden.
I'll use their current uniforms and I'll switch it to the old 2015 white helmets.
Because the white helmets look so much better than the Navy helmet.
or then red helmets or, you know, light blue helmets.
Like, white is the best shell possible for the Titans situation.
But white face masks were confirmed as well.
And I gotta be honest, I don't like that.
I wanted red.
I wanted red face masks.
Now, there's the argument that that's too much like the oilers.
Well, you're already doing red and light blue as the colors.
You're already too much like the oilers.
So I think that red face masks were the way to go.
They just pop so much more.
I just hate when the face mask is the same color as the helmet.
It just blurs together and it doesn't pop at all.
But that's what they're going with.
White helmet, white face mask.
That is confirmed.
Okay?
Now, the last detail here, or two more details that we will confirm here is
Instead of saying Titans on the chest above the numbers,
like on the front of the Jersey where it said Titans,
right below the V of the neckline.
It's going to say Tennessee now.
And there's a ton of people out there talking about how the Titans want to lean into
it being more state-based than Nashville based.
So by putting Tennessee on there,
they're trying to represent the entire,
state, not just the city of Nashville.
And quite frankly, I think that is a good idea.
That doesn't bother me at all.
I'm not like Tennessee or Titans.
Like, they're the Tennessee Titans.
So why do I care which name that you put right there on your jersey?
So I actually like that as an idea because I don't hate it.
You know, like I don't hate the change.
So if I don't hate it, then I don't mind it.
And if I don't mind it, then I like it.
You know?
And I do understand the Titans,
trying to get the whole state on board.
You know, like the Titans are trying to get more loyalty
from the entire state of Tennessee
because if you're not from Tennessee, which I'm not,
but I'm just, you know, that's why you guys come to me.
I'm locked into these sort of things.
And I've been to Tennessee more than any other state
that I've traveled to in my entire life.
It feels like I'm always in Tennessee.
That's where my family always went on vacation.
I've been down there myself or business.
for Titans games. I'm always in Tennessee somehow.
Which I guess it's divine intervention
that I ended up as a Tennessee Titans fan
all those years ago.
But there is somewhat of a
natural rivalry
between Tennessee Volves fans
and Titans fans.
Like Tennessee Volv...
Like, not every...
Most Titans fans
are Volves fans, but not all Volves fans
are Titans fans.
Like a lot of Tennessee fans,
volunteers liked Indianapolis or liked Atlanta or, you know, different things.
Before the Titans came to Tennessee and Peyton Manning went to the Colts and obviously
he is the most famous Tennessee volunteer of all time and you know all that different stuff.
So the Titans don't have their teeth into the entire state of Tennessee like you would think
that they would. So they're trying to galvanize the entire state into caring about
the Titans. And I can't blame them for that. That would be big for them from a business
standpoint, from a fan-based standpoint. Things feel a little divided right now. They always have
and I think trying to bridge that gap is a smart move for the Titans from a business standpoint.
So whether it's that point or just I don't really care about it saying Titans or Tennessee,
I think that's smart and I like that idea. Now with that in mind, what we do know is that
the three Navy stars will be somewhere on this uniform.
Whether it's on the hip, on the pants,
which I think is where it is based on the,
based on the billboard that popped up in Tennessee,
whether it's on the hip of the pants,
which is where I think it is,
whether it's on the collarbone of the front of the jersey,
which I think would be terrible.
Whether it's on the shoulder,
which I think would be better but still not ideal.
the three Navy stars will be on the uniform somewhere.
I personally think it is the hip of the pants.
But the three stars, and I keep seeing people say,
oh, the stars remind me a cheerleaders.
Do you not understand that that is the state logo of Tennessee,
the TriStar thing?
Like, how do people not know that?
I'm not even from Tennessee, and I know that, you know?
Like, how would you not know that already from the Titans current logo?
You know what I mean?
And like all of the iconography that the Titans,
use. So that is what we know about the uniforms right now.
The Circle T is the primary logo.
The helmets will be white and have a white face mask.
It will be Tennessee on the chest, not Titans,
and the three Navy Blue Stars will be somewhere on the logo.
Now let me say this because there was, it's not the person's fault that this happened,
but somebody posted a picture of,
the flyer, the digital flyer,
that the Titan sent out for the uniform reveal party.
It had like, you know, what to wear,
where it's happening, what to expect,
the time, when to show up, all that different stuff.
And in the email,
the person who posted it said,
notice that there's no red on the flyer.
And a lot of people read that and said,
oh, he means that there's no red on the jersey,
but I even confirmed with the person who replied to me
that they just meant that there's no red on the flyer,
not that there's no red in the uniform.
And the reality is we already know what the primary logo
is going to look like with the red circle,
so we know that they're leaning into more of the red color scheme.
So just if you saw that and you're wondering,
hey, I saw somebody on Twitter say that there will be no red
and that's a misunderstanding.
And it's not the poster's fault.
It's just the wording of the tweet was weird
So there will be red on the uniform
There better be
You know what I mean?
Like with the light blue and the red
That is the color scheme they need to lean into
And I'll be salty
If that's not the case
But that is the case
So I'm not worried
Now the last thing that I want to say here
About the uniforms
I'm gonna be here to break it all down
After that I mean
They're doing it so late
745 Central
It's 845 my time
I'm gonna be up late tomorrow
breaking that down
but I'll be here. Don't worry. It's not that late.
But regardless,
I think it's really dumb that the Titans aren't doing a live stream.
I get that they're trying to create an exclusive event
for their season ticket holders,
but I think that that is not seeing the forest through the trees
or whatever that phrase is.
I get that phrase wrong more than any other phrase in the English language.
Yeah, you're creating an exclusive event for your season ticket holders,
but this is such a massive thing for the franchise,
a rebrand, New Jersey's, a new logo.
The fact that you're not live streaming that to your worldwide audience,
I think it really is a misunderstanding
of how many Tennessee Titans fans are not in Tennessee
because I'm not.
I know a lot of you guys who watch my show are not based in Tennessee.
You're in Columbia.
You're in Ireland.
You're in England.
You're in California.
You're in Texas.
You're in Kentucky.
You're in Ohio.
Like, I come from an age group.
There are like 10 to 12 Tennessee Titans fans around my age
from where I'm from in middle Ohio.
Eddie George, the new uniforms, it being a new team.
It captivated people and the Bengals and the Browns were a disgrace.
So I'm not going to like them.
So I think that in an effort to cater to the season ticket holders,
they have abandoned the fans who are not able to go to stuff like that
and do stuff like that.
And quite frankly, I think that's really stupid.
That's really putting the cart in front of the horse, in my opinion.
Like, there are way more Titans fans who will not be at that event
than there are fans who will be at that event.
And to debut something so significant to only that small of a group
and then let other people send out the message,
media is going to be there.
Fans are going to be there.
They are going to take pictures themselves.
They are going to send out stuff.
The media is going to take pictures and send it out.
To allow other people to control your narrative,
I don't know who will prove that,
but I think that was a really stupid business decision.
But nonetheless, after all that stuff goes live out to the public,
I'll be here to break it all down with you.
But I want to end this episode on a good note.
Cam Ward is backthrow in the football.
Do want to let you know that today's episode is brought to you by TurboTax.

Fans, let's cap off today's edition of the Locked-on Titans podcast.
We talked about the options getting slim and free agency.
We talked about what we know about the Tennessee Titans' new logo and New Jersey's.
Now we've got to talk about Cam Ward because Cam Ward is back to throwing the football.
We heard two or three weeks ago from Cam Wolf of the NFL network that in two to three weeks,
Cam Ward would be back throwing
and that's absolutely fantastic news
and if you don't believe me, I do have proof
from Select QB Athletics
on Instagram.
You can go check it out
and again if you're listening on the audio version
my apologies go to Instagram
Select QB Athletics.
I'm going to try to repost that
or add it to my story or whatever they call it on Instagram
I don't really know social media as well
as maybe you guys think I do if I'm honest with you
but either way
there was a video of Cam Ward throwing the full
football and I want to point out something that's not just about Cam Ward throwing.
Cam Ward throwing the football, dropping back, throwing it, another throw right here, gets it out.
So again, that's select QB athletics on Instagram, but one other thing I noticed outside of
just Cam Ward throwing the football and that being good because he's back healthy, throwing the ball.
he can be ready to go for the off-season program
that starts in the beginning of April,
middle of April, all that.
Other than that.
And shout out to my guy Walkdown.
I think it's Titans by 20 on Twitter.
They pointed out, Cam looks slimmer.
Cam looks slimmer in the video.
You can tell in his build that he's slimmer.
And quite honestly,
I know that, you know,
some of the haters hate it.
I don't really care.
But I told you that during the season,
I thought Cam Ward could be better about his fitness,
better about his conditioning,
better about his, what's the word I'm looking for?
Better about his shape.
You can tell in the face.
You can always tell him the face.
And the reality is,
I don't think that I'm being overly critical of Cam Ward
when I say that a rookie in the NFL,
his figure is the word that I was thinking of.
His figure, not his shape, his figure.
but a rookie in the NFL
can take his fitness to the next level.
All of them.
Every rookie in the NFL.
Are you eating as good as you should?
Are you taking care of your body as well as you should?
Are you on the right diet?
Are you training in the most efficient way possible?
There's just no way that a rookie is checking all those boxes.
Those are things that you can only learn and only improve that
as you become a professional.
Now some people, you know,
Anytime you say, you know, cam ward this, cam ward that,
if it's anywhere near critical, they cry and throw a fit.
And you don't know, you can't, blah, blah, blah.
But, I mean, I'm not breaking news here when I say that, yeah,
players get smarter about how to take care of their bodies
and how to be in peak physical shape as they age.
Imagine if three years ago I would have said,
Jeffrey Simmons needs to get in better shape,
needs to take care of his body better,
needs to be more in touch with his fitness.
and people, oh, Jeffrey Simmons,
he had back-to-back all pros.
You don't know what did Jeffrey Simmons do?
He lost 20 pounds this all season
and now he truly is the best version of himself.
So, Cam needs to do the same thing.
And if you don't believe me,
as I've pointed out on the show before,
Robert Sala in his introductory press conference
in an interview with the Combine
also mentioned Cam Ward's fitness
twice.
So Robert Sala
is
tiptoeing around
hey he needs to be in better shape
and as someone
with a very chubby face
I mean I'm in great shape right now
like I'm in as good as shape
as I have been
in nearly 10 years
and I still get called fat
every single day.
You know why?
Because I have a chubby face
all right
so that's just the reality here.
Cam
was a little chub, watch his basketball highlights in high school.
He had a little baby fat on him.
All right?
He's not naturally a skinny guy.
He's got a little, you know, little thickness to him.
And you can see it in his face, his cheeks.
He's got a little, you know, little chubbiness to him.
But in that video, he looks slimmer.
His face looks slimmer.
And again, it's only natural that a rookie in the NFL
