Locked On Titans - Daily Podcast On The Tennessee Titans - Tennessee Titans TROUBLING Coaching News: Mike McCarthy Not Interested & Jason Garrett Embarrassment
Episode Date: January 7, 2026The Tennessee Titans coaching search is off to a ROUGH start. The candidate list so far is completely uninspiring or downright embarrassing. Mike McCarthy reportedly isn't interested in the job and ha...s yet to be requested while the Titans look like fools for interviewing Jason Garrett on Friday. The Titans have still not requested Anthony Weaver or Klint Kubiak either and it is expected they are not a serious contender for John Harbaugh. All of this is not going in the right direction. The hope Titans fans should hold on to though is that a lot of the best young candidates are currently in the playoffs and the Titans, hopefully, are just waiting to speak with guys like Robert Saleh, Chris Shula and Jesse Minter. Finally, Amy Adams Strunk is far from the best owner in the NFL, but is far from the worst also. The Titans are in a down phase, but we all must remember she was also the one who pulled the franchise out of the rut they were in 12 years ago. She is responsible for the second-best Titans team in history, so pretending she is terrible at the job and can't get this back on track is absurd. It has been an embarrassing 24 hours for the Tennessee Titans head coaching search,
and I've got to be honest, I'm starting to get a little bit worried,
and I'll tell you why on today's edition of Locked on Titans.

I'm going to go over the last 24 hours of Tennessee Titans Head coaching news that has me very, very worried.
Jason Garrett, what are we doing?
I'll go over all of that plus a bad report.
I don't know what to call it about Mike McCarthy not being interested in the Tennessee Titans.
Now, after we talk about my concerns, we'll talk about why I'm holding out hope
that the Titans aren't going to do what we think they're going to do.
And I got a Rollins rant for you guys on why we need to back off Amy Adams Strunk.
And some of the comments about her are just completely off base.
Now, before we get into all of that, I do want to thank you for making Locked on Titans,
your first listen each and every day.
Remember, Monday through Friday, Tennessee Titans content all year round,
always for free make sure that you get subscribed stay subscribed it's your team every day

tuning in monday through friday couldn't do it without you guys again if you want to be as up
the date as informed as entertained as you possibly could be make sure that you stay locked in here
with the locked on titans podcast but with that being said right after i got done with the pod
yesterday and during the pod we got the john harbour news but right after we got the news
that the tennessee titans are officially requesting
a head coaching interview with Jason Garrett.
Yes, that Jason Garrett, NBC, Sunday night football, that Jason Garrett, yes, that guy.
One of the most disrespected, one of the most criticized, I mean, he's just literally a laughing stock
for a lot of the time during his time in Dallas.
Now, he had some good times in Dallas.
He's got a winning record as a coach overall.
This guy hasn't been a coach in the NFL since 2019.
2019.
Like, we are talking about seven years.
Why would this guy get a head coaching interview for the Tennessee Titans?
It is preposterous.
It is absurd.
And now we're hearing that Mike Borgonzi's brother was a coach
who worked under Jason Garrett.
And it's like, okay, so the only reason,
that this guy is getting a head coaching interview after being out of the NFL for seven years
is because your brother is friends with him.
So we're doing more buddy stuff.
Well, oh, you know, this guy's not qualified.
He hasn't been an NFL coach in forever.
Since before I was doing the podcast.
Actually, his last year was the first year I started doing the pod.
But the reason that this guy who is completely unqualified gets an interview
is because your brother worked with him.
That makes me worried.
Like, that with the Matt Maggie news and the relationship serving there, like, you know,
Mike Borgonzi can be at the press conference and say, hey, we're vetting everybody.
We're not just going to lean on personal relationships, blah, blah, blah.
But when you do something like this, like, that's embarrassing.
It's a laughing stock to interview Jason Garrett.
What are we doing?
Okay?
Embarrassing, absolutely.
And then you look at the Mike McCarthy situation.
Now, apparently there's a lot of ups.
people about the words and using the proper words. So let me pull the exact quote for you.
Paul Koharski, who covers the Titans, said this on a Nashville radio show on Wednesday morning.
I have heard talking about Mike McCarthy. I have heard he is not interested.
And I have some reason to believe that the Brinker McCarthy relationship is not one that would lead the Titans to hire him.
But I don't have that as firmly as I'd like.
So, this little half-step report, I think this is irresponsible journalism, in my opinion,
to say, I have heard that he's not interested,
and I have reason to believe that Brinker and McCarthy's relationship
is not one that would lead the Titans to hire him.
So you're saying, I've heard, as a reporter, as a journalist,
that Mike McCarthy isn't interested in the Titans,
and that the reason that he isn't interested in the Titans
is because he has a bad relationship with Chad Brinker.
Now, whether that's Brinker who doesn't like McCarthy or McCarthy,
or McCarthy who doesn't like Brinker.
Doesn't really matter.
The point is, their relationship
might be a reason why the Titans don't hire him
or why he isn't interested in the Tennessee Titans.
And then to say at the very end of that,
but I don't have that as firmly as I'd like.
Derek Henry's coming back to the Tennessee Titans, guys,
but I don't have that as firmly as I'd like.
That is such irresponsible journalism
to say something like that
and then try to back off of it.
You know what I mean?
Like, that's insane.
Either you have heard that, you do know that,
or you don't, if you don't have it as firmly as you'd like,
then you don't say it publicly.
That's irresponsible journalism.
But here's the reality.
I believe it.
I believe it.
I do believe that Paul Garski has heard
that Mike McCarthy is not interested.
I do believe that he has heard
that the relationship between him and Chad Brinker
is the reason why.
And not only that, but let's connect the dots, everybody.
So based on that report right there,
Mike McCarthy has not been requested.
for an interview yet by the Tennessee Titans
for no reason at all,
which is part of my concern.
So if we take McCarthy not being requested by the Titans yet
and then this piece of information that we got right there
and we put two and two together,
it is easy to infer that,
oh, this is why the Tennessee Titans put out that statement last week.
It wasn't just to clear the air, blah, blah, blah.
They are being told behind the scenes,
I don't want to work with Brinker.
At least by Mike McCarthy.
least by Mike McCarthy's agent.
So the Titans are like, hey, you're not working with Brinker.
You're working with Mike Borganzi.
And if anybody out there is worried about Brinker, don't.
You're working with Mike Borganzi.
So let's put two and two together and make four here.
Mike McCarthy doesn't want to come to the Titans
because he doesn't want to work with Chad Brinker again.
And the Titans are hoping to not have that be a factor
by publicly stating, hey, Mike Borganzies in charge.
Don't worry about the guy behind the curtain over there, Chad Brinker.
Please, Mike McCarthy, don't worry about that.
Now, here's the other thing.
Outside of those two embarrassing situations for the Titans,
Steve Spadanolla, Matt and Aggie, two Kansas City guys,
Mike Borganzi, relationship,
Rahim Morris, Mike McCoy, and Vance Joseph.
Like, again, I'm worried. I'm worried by this.
If those are the candidates,
that have been requested so far, what are we doing?
And not requested so far in Mike McCarthy's case.
Kevin Stefansky has been requested for an interview with the Titans.
He will meet with the Titans on Saturday.
But he just had dinner with the New York Giants on Tuesday night
and then had his interview with the Giants on Wednesday.
And now Baltimore is open.
Kevin Stefansky is going to get one of the best jobs on the market.
I know you Kevin Stefansky haters out there can't wrap your head around it,
but that's a you problem.
If you can't understand why Kevin Stefansky going to the playoffs twice in six years
taking the Browns to their first playoff win in 18 years
and having the worst quarterback trade in the history of the NFL thrust upon him
along with Dylan Gabriel and Shador Sanders
and you can't understand why teams are interested in that guy
that's a huge problem.
But again, out of these, you know, eight names,
the only two good head coaching candidates there are Kevin Stafansky
and Mike McCarthy.
McCarthy doesn't want the Titans
and Kevin Stefansky is probably going to get a job with a better team.
Like, it's concerning.
It's embarrassing.
Like, I'm frustrated by this.
And yes, I can already see the comments.
And I'm not saying that you're wrong.
But, oh, you know, it's just the first week.
Like, you're overreacting.
You're getting too harsh, too quick.
I want to believe that.
I want to believe that you're right.
I want to believe that I'm overreacting and I'm too concerned
and it'll all work out.
And, you know, but John Harbault,
ain't coming to the Titans and Kevin
Stefansky is going to get stolen away
by a better opening and
Mike McCarthy isn't
interested. Those are my three top
candidates so what comes next
what's after that? Now
the final thing I want to say about
these candidates before we move on to
what gives me hope I'm going to hold
out hope still
a little bit but what
what I think could give us hope
the first step of this is that some of
these guys as I've talked about throughout the
week, and we'll continue to mention, some of these guys could be coordinator interviews disguised
as head coaching interviews. I think that there's a high likelihood that Matt and Aggie is actually
the offensive coordinator for the Titans when they hire a different person. We'll talk about who
that could be. I think that Rahim Morris could be a defensive coordinator option for the
Titans under a different head coach. I think that, you know, Jason Garrett, I know it sounds
crazy and it is crazy. It's stupid.
And if Jason Garrett is hired in any
capacity on this coaching staff, I'm
not going to be happy and I'm going to call that out
as a terrible move. But Jason Garrett is
an offensive coach. He's considered
an offensive guru, a
quarterback guy, like that is what Jason
Garrett was known as. So
maybe
Jason Garrett's interview is
simply for a potential coordinator position
doesn't make me feel much
better, but
you know, it doesn't make me feel worse either.
Either way, you know, everything that has happened and everything that's been confirmed
and reported so far with the Tennessee Titans coaching search,
I'm very, very concerned.
And not only that, but there are other guys that the Titans haven't requested interviews with
and it's like, oh my God, what are they doing?
Let's talk about why I have some hope and talk about some different potential head coaching candidates
and why the Titans haven't reached out to them yet.

Titans fans. Let's continue today's edition of the Locked On Titans podcast.
We talked about why I'm concerned about the Tennessee Titans head coaching search
and everything that is going on right now.
But I'm also going to tell you why I do have some hope.
There is a chance that we could hold out hope here.
Now before we get into it, thanks again for making Locked on Titans your first listen each and every day.
Thank you for making the Lockdown Podcast Network,
the number one sports podcast network.
But again, there are some names here who the Tennessee Titans have not requested so far
and it has me a bit worried, but there might be a good reason for that.
Now, think about some of the names here. Clint Kubiak, Anthony Weaver.
These are guys who I think are great people to bring in, even if you're not going to hire them.
They're great people to bring in to pick their brains a little bit on how they see the team, how they see the roster.
Kubiak, one of the smartest offensive minds in the NFL from Seattle.
He just got a request from the Baltimore Ravens.
Like I said, Anthony Weaver just got a request from the Baltimore Ravens.
And the Titans haven't requested those guys.
Clint Kubiak is only going to be available for a virtual interview so far
this week because the Seahawks have a buy.
So if the Tennessee Titans wanted to interview Clint Kubiak,
they would have put it in a request already.
And the instant pushback, and I saw this online,
and it does make sense
but there was an article that came out in ESPN
where it basically said like
some of these teams, potentially the Titans
because Mike Borganzi was in Kansas City
for so long when they made deep playoff runs
they want to respect the process of the playoffs
and not even bother these coaches
with virtual interviews during their bi-week.
They're in the playoffs, let them go.
But the problem with that theory is
the Titans requested
Vance Joseph
who's the defensive coordinator of the Denver Broncos
who have to buy this week.
So it's not like the Titans didn't want to request Vance Joseph
because he was still in the playoffs.
So that excuse for not getting an interview with Clint Kubiak
doesn't make any sense.
And here's the hope part of it though.
Now, all the other interesting candidates
that I would like more than most of the guys in the first segment
that we talked about
are actually on playoff games this week
and cannot be requested.
Robert Sala,
Chris Shula,
Jesse Mentor,
Jeff Halfley, Anthony Campanelli, Matt Burke from Houston.
Like all of these good, young defensive minds.
Now, Sala is obviously an experienced head coach who doesn't fall on that.
But Shula, Mentor, Halfley, Campanelli, Burke,
those are all young defensive coordinators, hot-shot defensive coordinators
that the Titans should be very, very interested in.
Okay?
But they haven't put out requests for those guys
because they are actively in the playoffs this week.
And again, that report from ESPN saying, hey, a lot of teams
because the NFL doesn't want, the NFL doesn't want
these coaches and coordinators to be doing interviews
during the week where they have playoff games.
That's just not good for the product.
It's not good for the integrity of the game.
It's not good for the NFL.
They don't want that.
So the NFL wants NFL teams to wait to interview these guys
until they're not in the playoffs anymore.
Now, that may mean that the Tennessee Titans
head coaching search takes a little bit longer than what I think it should take.
I said on yesterday's episode, I thought the Titans would have a head coach
by January the 24th.
But if one of the guys that they truly want to hire and truly want to interview
ends up going to the Super Bowl or whatever, they're going to have to wait.
Now the problem with that is jobs get filled.
Candidates come off the market because they don't want to wait for you
to get done with your process.
You think if Mike McCarthy gets hired or offer the job for the New York Giants,
he's going to wait a month for the Tennessee Titans
so that they can talk to somebody else who they might hire and see.
instead of him? No, that's not going to happen. So, it still makes me concerned that, you know,
the best candidates that the Titans could get, Stefansky probably going elsewhere, John Harbaal
probably going elsewhere, Mike McCarthy not interested, and all the rest of them are currently
in the playoffs, I mean then the Titans have to wait. And I think another name that concerns me that
hasn't been requested is Cliff Kingsbury. Why have the Titans not requested
Cliff Kingsbury at minimum, at minimum to bring him in and ask what he would do with
Cam Ward? Like, I've mentioned it all week that these interviews are
sometimes actually coordinator interviews and also sometimes just a fact-finding
mission. They just want to get answers from a smart person inside the NFL about what
they would do. So, I'm holding out hope.
And we should all hold out hope that the Tennessee Titans aren't going to hire from this terrible list
that we talked to, the Jason Garrett, Mike, well, McCarthy doesn't, McCarthy and Stefansky, I love.
But Garrett, Spagnola, Nagy, Morris, McCoy, Joseph.
Like, the only thing I can do is hope that this is just the Tennessee Titans getting the worst candidates out of the way first.
Let's get the people who are least interested in out of the way first.
Let's get the guys who we actually want as coordinators out of the way first.
Now, with that in mind,
I think that it's very likely that the Tennessee Titans
actually do want one of these young defensive coordinators.
And I think Mike Borgonzi and his press conference saying,
hey, we're not really worried about offense or defense.
We need a leader.
We need someone who's going to set the culture here and hold people accountable.
You know what I mean?
I think Mike Borgonzi was clear that they aren't too overly focused.
on a scheme guru, that they want to, you know, a force of personality, you could say.
Now, in my opinion, you can't go all the way that way either.
You've got to find a balance.
There has to be some scheme intelligence here.
I mean, look at John Harbaugh.
They should have kept Mike McDonald, who's a scheme guru on defense,
who's also a leader, whereas Harbaal is just a leader.
You know, like Mike Tomlin and Pittsburgh can't get the offense right
because he's not a scheme guy, even though he's a man.
max leader. Like, I think in today's NFL, you have to have some sort of scheme speciality
to be a good head coach. You have to. It's necessary. You know what I mean? But
with that in mind, I could see, and I think right now, right now, if I had to give you my
prediction, and I'm going to sit on it over the weekend, come out next week, I think,
with my full predictions and rankings and all that stuff. I think right now, just throwing this
against the wall, that Chris Shula, the Los Angeles Rams defensive coordinator,
I think Chris Shula is going to get hired.
I think that's who the Titans want.
I think they want Chris Shula.
And because of that, I think that Rahim Morris, who is good friends with Chris Shula
and worked with him in Los Angeles, I think he would make sense as a defensive coordinator
candidate.
And that's why they interviewed Rahim Morris.
We talked about that yesterday.
I also think that a guy like Aubrey Pleasant, who is on the Los Angeles Rams defensive
staff who's been, you know,
talked about a defensive coordinator option
could make sense. Because Chris Shula
could come over. He's going to need a defensive
coordinator whether he calls plays on defense or
not. I want him to call plays
on defense. But no matter what,
you still need a defensive coordinator to help you teach
the defense. Because you're the head coach.
You can't be the defensive coordinator and the head coach. You can call
plays, but you can't do both
duties at the same time. It's not
possible. And it wouldn't be smart
for the team anyway. Now,
With that idea of Morris or Pleasant, on the offensive side,
I think there is a high likelihood, Matt Nagy will be the offensive coordinator for this football team.
I think the Nagy interest and the Nagy relationship will get him a job here.
But it's maybe not the head coaching job like people are talking about.
Now, I've had people say, well, Matt Nagy said he doesn't want to call plays.
Why would it be an offensive coordinator?
Well, he doesn't want to call plays as a head coach.
coach. If he doesn't get a head coaching job, then he wants to call plays as an offensive
coordinator because he hasn't got the call plays with the Kansas City Chiefs because of
Andy Reed. And if he doesn't get the call plays, he's never going to get a second
opportunity to be a head coach, which he desperately wants. Matt Nagy desperately wants a second
opportunity to be the head coach. Okay? But you're not going to get that if you don't call
plays. Most teams aren't going to be as stupid as the Titans when they hired Brian Callahan to
hire a guy who's never called plays and never been
a head coach. That was done
in hindsight. We know now. That was pretty
stupid. But, Rancore Thon,
not a very smart general manager.
You know, call it what
it is. We have the information. Yes,
it's hindsight, but that's what
happened. So
Matt Nagy
would 100% take an offensive
coordinator position so that he
would get the opportunity to call plays
and then be able to prove that he is worth
a head coaching position in the NFL.
So, Chris Shula, with one of his co-workers or former co-workers in Los Angeles
is the defensive coordinator, and then Matt Nagy is an offensive coordinator.
And then what you have, if you have Rahim, Morris, and Matt Nagy,
you have two experienced head coaches in the NFL, Morris two times, Nagy once,
with a first-time head coach.
So he could, DeNard Wilson wasn't a previous head coach.
Nick Holes wasn't a previous head coach.
Only his dad, Bill Callahan, was a former head coach in the NFL on Brian Callahan staff.
And that might be part of the issue.
So if you're going to, if the Titans are going to hire a first-time head coach again,
I don't think they make the mistake of not surrounding him with more former head coaches.
So I think a first-time head coach in Chris Shula,
surrounded by Rahim Morris and Matt Nagy, two former head coaches in the NFL,
would be a good group.
I would be more understanding of Matt Nagy being on the squad
if he was the O.C. instead of the head coach.
Now, I'll tell you this,
I would still prefer to get somebody from the Rams system.
Get Nate Shelhoss, their passing game coordinator.
Get Mike LaFleur, their offensive coordinator.
I think those taken from the Sean McVeigh tree
would be better offensive coordinator hires than Matt Nagy,
even though Matt Nagy has the head coaching experience.
I just think those guys are better than Matt Nagy.
I just don't think Matt Nagy's very good.
You know, at offense, a head coach,
at whatever you want.
I just don't think he's a good coach.
So that's where I'm at with that.
That is right now, that's what I think is going to happen,
but it remains to be seen as the interviews go.
Again, I hope that the Titans find a way to hire Kevin Stefansky at this point, you know.
But I'm skeptical.
And if they don't, then Shula is definitely the young defensive
the coordinator I would want, it would be between him and Robert Sala.
And either way, I think, you know, all the coordinator options that we just talked about
would still be on the table, except Rahim Morris with Sala.
I don't think that would work out.
But either way, that's why I'm holding out hope.
I'm worried, I'm concerned, but we'll see what next week brings us.
Now, I got a Rollins rant for you guys on Amy Adams Strunk, and I already know
a lot of you don't want to hear it.
And I don't really care.

the Locked-on Titans podcast.
We talked about the things that have me concerned
about the Tennessee Titans head coaching search.
We talked about the things that have me hopeful
for the Tennessee Titans head coaching search.
But now I want to totally pivot away
to something that's just been on my mind.
It's just been burning in my mind
and I've got to get it off my chest.
Amy Adam Strunk is not a terrible owner
and the criticism of her in the fan base
is completely unwarranted and unjust.
And let me explain why.
Before I do, thanks again,
for making Lockdown Titans your first listen each and every day.
Thank you for making the Lockdown Podcast Network,
the number one sports podcast network.
But again, back off Amy Adam Strump, period.
Period, point blank, period.
Look, is Amy Adams Strunk one of the best owners in the NFL?
Absolutely not.
Absolutely not.
That's not the argument that I'm making.
I'd say she's probably bottom 12 if we're going to really make a list and be honest.
She is not at the top of the NFL
However, on the other side of that coin
Pretending like Amy Adam Strunk
as bad of an owner as Woody Johnson from the Jets
or Jim Haslam from the Browns
or David Tepper from the Panthers
or you know
Daniel Snyder when he was with the Washington team
or like Mark Davis
from the Raiders
like she's nowhere near
as bad as those Jerry Jones
right now for the Cowboys.
You know, like, she is nowhere near
as bad of an owner
as some of the other obviously awful owners
in the NFL.
Like, she's not on that level.
It's absurd.
Do I need to remind you?
Let's go back in the Wayback Machine.
Okay?
I think a lot of people who are in my comment saying,
sell the team, this team will,
I have people saying,
this team will never be good with Amy Adams Strunk.
This team could never be good
with that bad of an owner.
They already were!
They already were!
Like, does nobody remember where this team was at 12 years ago?
They were in a similar position to where they're at right now.
Everything was terrible.
Ken Wisenhunt.
And who saved us?
Who saved the Tennessee Titans?
Amy Adams strunk.
Who hired John Robinson?
Who had the Cajonis to fire Mike,
Malarkey and hire Mike Frable. Who made those moves?
Amy Adams-Trunk made those moves.
She was the one who produced the second best run in Tennessee Titans history.
The second best team, and I would argue that that 2019 Titans team
might be the most talented Tennessee Titans team in franchise history.
Well, at least since they moved to Tennessee.
I'm not going to act like I have all the rosters memorized of the Houston Texans
back into when I wasn't even born.
But the 2019 team was the most talented roster
this football team has ever had.
And who hired the guy that made it happen?
Amy Adam Strump.
So acting like, because she made a mistake,
she made an obvious mistake hiring Rancarthon.
That was a massive blunder on her part.
That is the one mistake that she actually did make.
That's the one true mistake is she hired Rancarthon.
And then he hired Brian Callahan, you know?
Like, so it all starts with that.
She shouldn't have fired Vrabel and she shouldn't have hired Rand.
That is the mistake.
But to act like Amy Adams-strunk is totally incapable of building a winning team
or hiring the right people is absurd.
She already has showed us that she has the ability to do that.
She kept Mike Malarkey as a full-time coach after his interim status
and got the Tennessee Titans,
their first playoff win in a decade.
Amy Adams Strunk delivered the first playoff win in a decade.
Amy Adams Strunk, again, had the gumption
to move away from that.
Do you know what kind of Cajunas and onions
that you got to have to fire the head coach
who just won your franchise, their first playoff game in a decade?
Do you know how much conviction and gumption
you got to have to do that?
And she did it anyway because she knew it was right.
So, we could talk about firing John Robinson was the right move.
We all know that. We all know that.
Firing John Robinson was the right move.
He had fallen off a cliff.
Hiring Rancart Thon was the problem.
Because you hired Rancart Thon.
It pissed off Mike Vrabel and he forced his way out
because he didn't want to work with Rancart Thon.
And Mike Vrabel was right.
Rancart Thon was not worthy of the general manager job.
And Mike Vrable tried to tell her that.
And she didn't like it.
And that's why they parted ways.
So you can criticize Amy Adam Strunk all you want
for the Rancarthon Mike Vrable situation
and she deserves criticism for that.
But to act like Amy Adam Strunk is one of the worst owners in the NFL
and she can't build a winning team
and there's no way this team will ever win games.
They were in the AFC championship game
directly because of the moves that she made.
And the hires that she made.
And then you add on, she changed the jerseys.
Back to change them again for us.
Got a new stadium coming up.
She revamped the facilities.
The Titans have improved their facilities.
The Titans have built out their scouting departments
and their medical departments.
The Titans have improved tenfold
as a franchise behind the scenes.
So yes, they've gone three and 14
in back-to-back years
because she messed up royally
with the Mike Vrable, Rancart Thon situation.
I'm not trying to defend her for that.
But to act like she is totally incapable.
Like, I'm sorry.
To me, it's childish.
It's doomsday, nihilistic, unnecessary, immature behavior.
To say that, Amy O's drunk, sell the team.
She can never build a winner here.
This lady can't win.
She can't blah, blah, blah.
She already has showed you that she can.
And she has improved this franchise from where her father had it in so many ways.
behind the scenes. So like, again, I'm not going to sit here and tell you she's one of the best owners.
I'm not going to sit here and tell you that she is above criticism.
But as not a surprise, the internet goes way too far.
She is not one of the worst owners in the NFL that is incapable of fixing this thing.
It's just not real. It's just not true.
But anyways, outside of that, I do want to say this.
If you're listening this late into the show, it's because you're a
die hard, you're an everydayer, and I
appreciate you. Thank you. But I'm not
going to have a show out tomorrow. You guys
know, I don't miss days.
I don't take holidays. I put
out shows on Christmas, New Year, Thanksgiving,
none of that, but I'm going to
have an honest moment with you. I have
to put my dog down on Thursday.
And you got, if you're listening
right now, you've probably been listening
for a long time and I'm going to try to not get
too choked up. But
you know, I've had my dog for 13 years.
I don't have children
So as a man in his mid-30s without children
Whether it's right or not
My dog feels like my son
And I went through a lot of bad times
During my 20s
And the only person who was there for me
Was the dog
So needless to say
I'm an emotional wreck
I'm not going to be able to do a show tomorrow
When I have to put my dog down
So
Anyway
I don't try to
to get too personal on here because you guys
most of you guys probably just don't give a damn
and I don't blame me for that. That's fine. You want Titans talk
not about my dog in my life but
I feel a strong obligation
to provide you guys content
and to be consistent and have a show out
five days a week all year round
no matter what but I'm just
I'm not going to be able to do it tomorrow
so I hope you guys understand and if anything
truly important happens over the weekend
I'll make sure to make some content to keep you guys up to date
but with that being said that's going to do it
for today's edition
I am your host, Tyler Rowland, and this was Locked on Titans.
