Fan Duel is giving you a way to turn that energy into even bigger potential wins with a college
basketball parlay profit boost at the Fanduil.com to get started.
started. I wanted to waste no time with you guys because Bhop, you were there. You were at the
pinnacle in Nashville last night. You got to rein in the new era of Titans football with the
new uniforms. I'm going to give it to you because you sent Kayla and I a text with a video of the
festivities. How was that? Because that looked electric. I didn't go. Well, first off, I have never
been to the pinnacle, which is where the Titans had the reveal. What an unbelievable venue, right?
They had laser show.
They had a 50-piece orchestra.
They had a DJ.
I mean, they had, they didn't have pyrocliffeics,
but they had some stuff shooting off in the back.
I mean, they pulled out all the stops, you know, to reveal.
So it was a great presentation.
There were standing room at the lower level.
So there was like hundreds, maybe a thousand people standing downstairs,
just kind of waiting.
And they were exciting.
Kyle Brand, remember Kyle from the NFL network?
Yep, yep.
He was the MC, came in, Kayla, he came in like on fire, like, wha-screaming everything, got everybody jacked up, you know, and telling a lot of energy.
He did. He had a lot of energy. And basically he was telling everybody how much of a Titans fan he actually was and called us to get to the playoffs this year.
So it was a great moment there for, I think, Tennessee, to kind of reveal what the future could possibly look like.
Amy sat right in front of me, got a chance to see her rubbing elbows with everybody, and she's always so engaging.
I mean, and it was one of the players, I think it was Wesley Woodyard.
They were throwing footballs from the stage, right?
He threw one up and Amy caught it.
No way.
Way.
And she was in the balcony.
He made it.
The thing is, though, Kaila, he wasn't trying to throw it to her.
It just happened to go to her.
She caught it and handed it to some young lady that was behind it.
I thought that was amazing.
That was crazy.
So my thoughts real quick about the Unis and we'll get you guys his thoughts.
I like the love your blue representation.
It seemed very familiar to me when I watched Jeffrey Simmons come out in his blue top,
obviously with the white pants because that's what we wore my rookie year.
I miss a little of the red in the logo, though.
You know, I'm just nitpicking a little bit, but it does seem a little bland,
just a little bland.
And I thought that maybe the red could accent the circle or some maybe the red accents the tea inside of the, you know,
that symbolizes the state of Tennessee.
Just something to break up
to just the blue and the white.
Yeah.
That's it. That's all I was thinking.
What about this, you guys?
What if they had added the blue face
or the red face mask?
That was the thing I said I was missing.
Yep.
Here. Look right here, guys.
There it is.
Yes. Yes.
That's the red face mask that we had.
But see, even when I was talking about,
even in the Oilers logo, it still is trimmed in red.
You see what I'm saying?
So in the logo itself, there is red in the uni, you know, because surrounding the numbers and whatnot.
But when you just looked at the logo, like when you go to the Tennessee Titans page, it's just two colors, blue and white.
I'm like, come on, man.
Put a little accent in there.
That's all.
That's a good point, though, Brad.
And that's why I had, I guess for me, I had looked at the top too.
And I was like, there is something missing that's kind of popping.
And that's why I realized, like, if they had done the face mask red,
I was like, oh, that actually would look really cool.
But honestly, altogether, guys, and Brad, I'm curious really quick to, after I give my thoughts,
your thoughts on this part, too, I just think it looks clean.
I think it looks modern.
I think, you know, no offense, but getting rid of the flame on the tea is so much more professional looking.
Very AFL.
Yeah, exactly.
I just feel like it looks like a modern uni.
and I'm all about clean and like sharp,
and I just feel like that's what it looks like.
I do like the new tea with the star.
I think it looks really, really good.
I just, I, and I've talked to people over here in California that have asked me,
how do you feel like, how do you like the unies?
And I tell them, I said, I really love them.
They're like, yeah, we do too.
We do too.
But I've seen people online, you know, there's always going to be criticism.
Like, Brad, do we really care that it's kind of a page from,
the Houston Oilers history?
I'm glad it is.
Yeah.
I guess one of the things that was mentioned
was the history that goes back
60 years.
This isn't a franchise that was started in 2000.
This franchise started in 1967.
We just moved up here to Nashville in 1997
and then opened the stadium in 99
and the rest is history.
But there's still a lineage.
In other words, you're looking at the last Houston
oiler. Steve McNair and I were obviously Houston Oilers moved to Nashville. We're both on the
roster in 2005. Steve was traded to Baltimore. I retired. We were both the last Houston Oilers.
We were the last Oilers because after we moved up here, they're not considered Houston Oilers.
Whoever came onto the team after that is a Tennessee oiler or a Tennessee Titan. You see what I'm
saying? But a Houston oiler, you know, that left the ship when Steve and I.
basically retired.
And you would know.
I mean, like, look, I wasn't the biggest fan of the flames when I first came in here
to cover this team.
It was one of those things.
Like, when you see flames on a car these days, what do you think?
Oh, that guy's lame.
You know?
Like, oh, overcompensating for something.
You know what I mean?
My gosh, lame.
Look at him.
I got to admit, though.
I'll let you finish, Julie.
No, I was just going to say.
When the flame me flumptech came out, I thought,
the hell is this?
You know, like you said,
NFL type stuff,
what is this like in real league or something?
No,
exactly.
But I do like the fact that it still got the retro look
and pays homage to history with still a futuristic feel,
which is exactly what Warren Moon teased when he talked about the future jerseys.
And so I thought it was all well done from the past to the present players that were in attendance,
ownership,
the fans seemed high.
It, Bhop, real quick,
before we go to break, it just feels,
something feels different about this next era, right?
Like there's a,
there's a sense of,
I don't know,
it just feels like they're,
they're doing it the right way.
And you know what?
The fans feel the same thing.
If you watched it,
if you were able to,
even if you were there,
you felt the energy.
They pointed out Robert Sala in the balcony
and people went nuts.
They went nuts.
And rightfully so.
I mean, he fits the bill.
Brian DeBall fits the bill.
There's so much newness and so much ushering in of a different identity.
You know, there's a reason to be excited.
Yeah, certainly indeed.
I'm sure we're going to talk about the jerseys, especially how they look,
because I think those colors are going to pop on a broadcast.
That's for sure.
On the other side of the break, we're going to talk about the stuff happening on the field.
Titans obviously made some big-time moves, not adding a player, but subtracting one.
That's next on the Titans Squat Show.
All right, workplace chaos, deadline stacking up, in blocks overflowing,

All right, guys, Titans Cut Legerious Sneed finally happened. We were wondering when that
news was going to drop. It played in 12 games over two years in Tennessee. Obviously,
probably one of the most disappointing acquisitions in the franchise's history, given that he
was a top 10 corner with Kansas City. But the cut does save the Titans nearly a
11 million bucks in the cap.
So your thoughts, was it just kind of a matter of time at this point?
Kayla?
Absolutely, guys.
And no judgment on legurious need, the person, because I really didn't get to ever know him.
And I would say my eight years covering the Tennessee Titans, the one thing I took pride in was getting to know these players.
And sometimes it was difficult getting to break down a wall with some of these guys.
but I felt like I did that with most players.
I can't tell you I ever even spoke maybe three words to Ligeria Sneep.
He was never in the locker room.
He was obviously never healthy.
I don't think anybody really got to know who he was or what was really going on
because of the injuries that occurred.
And then kind of all the drama that ensued coming into last season.
So, yeah, I look at it as like you don't win all of them.
And sometimes some of them are going to be complete busts.
I think there was a risk factor bringing him in when Ray and Carthon did because there were some questions on why Casey was just willing to kind of part ways with him.
And there had been some questions about how he didn't practice a lot.
But you know what?
You live and learn.
And I think the Titans, what's so refreshing and Brad mentioned it, is they're going in a different direction.
They're moving towards a newness.
And this is part of having to get rid of some of the old and some of that tarnish part.
I think that they did that.
Certainly a dopamine hit for Titans fans with the new uniforms
and then cutting Legerius Sneed the next day.
Bhop, go ahead.
Yeah, and you know the thing is,
Ligerius Sneed made plays when he was wearing a Chiefs uniform.
We've seen a guy, a dude, right?
And that's what we expected.
We didn't get it.
And that's the unfortunate part.
We've seen better days for Lerius Sneed.
And who's to say that there's not a future, you know,
somewhere else?
But we didn't get that Tennessee,
the Tennessee Titans, Legerius Knee that the Chiefs got, you know, just not that few seasons
ago.
So disappointing.
And a lot of it was injuries and whatnot, and you can't control that.
It's just part of the game.
But for a player that we brought in to be so impactful and to not get the minutes and not
get the kind of productivity that we would have wanted from a veteran, a proven guy like
that, it was just time to cut bait.
Kayla, you said you never got to get to know Legerius Sneed and never said maybe three
words to the guy. He said three words to me. Who, who and who? Because that was, I was the one who asked
about Nico Collins. And I said, and he was the one who said, who? You asked him that, Julie?
Yeah, that was me in the locker room there. And I, and I said, well, this is going to go poorly that
week. And sure enough, Nico Collins torched them. You like, you could see it coming a mile away.
And I think the thing with Sneed is that, you know, injuries obviously played a part. He had some off
the field stuff, but he never convinced us to trust him week to week. You know, I mean,
there were times where he would say, I'm closer than close. I remember Kayla in the locker
who we talked to him. He said, hey, I'm closer than close. Or when he was doing his camp in the
offseason out of town saying, hey, I'm, I'm, you know, I'm as healthy as I've been.
And then it didn't prove itself out on the field. So, you know, I think it was, it just came to
ahead and finally took its course. And I think the idea of starting the new era with the new uniforms
and a new head coach and coaching staff around him, a quarterback, draft pick again in the top five.
This is one of those things that kind of out with the old and with the new and you want to bring
the right players in here are going to be here for the right reasons. Not saying Sneed wasn't,
but he didn't give us any reason to say that he was. And so, yeah, it was kind of time with that thing.
on the wall when they signed Delante and Cordale.
You know, you knew they.
They weren't going to bring it back.
Yeah, indeed.
And speaking of those two guys real quickly,
I know we're going to talk about free agency grades here soon.
As far as when it comes to addressing those needs and what the other signings that the Titans had,
how would you, if you were to be a teacher and put that cap on and give it to Mike Borgonzi so far,
without the draft, obviously, and knowing what they've done there, what grade would you give the Titans this offseason?
when it comes to free agency.
Kayla?
Yeah, I grade a little bit tougher.
I mean, that's how my teachers, my teachers, I graded pretty tough.
No curve.
No curve for Kayla.
Kayla's kind of a stickler when it comes to that stuff,
because I had to earn my grades in high school and college.
So I would probably, though, overall,
I would probably be in that B plus range is where I would give.
I think the, you know, the A's you can, you can give out and you can fall in love with
certain names,
but if you look at the at the class,
free age class as a whole,
there's definitely moves that I really,
really liked.
Surprisingly,
I find the A grades going to some kind of more stranger ads like Mitch
Trevisky,
which I know that seems weird,
but I look at him as a mentor for Cam Ward.
I look at him as a guy that has been through ups and downs in this league
and kind of knows how to guide and help things out.
And if for some reason Cam Ward to go down,
I think he's had enough experience in the league to step up for at least what you hope is a short time.
And then I loved the punter move and Tommy Townsend.
Like who doesn't give that a grade A?
And I know for Bones Fossil, like that has got to be something that he's so excited about.
We were so impressed by what Bones did last year with special teams.
It's been a weakness of this Titans team for so long.
So to have special teams back and exciting and then to add a guy,
like this who can flip the field, I was really excited about him as well. And then obviously,
you get into all the, you know, the cornerbacks. I think out of the cornerbacks I was most excited
about, because I think there's a lot of potential there is Cordale Flot. Like, I really do think
that there is a potential that he hasn't even reached yet and a little bit of an underrated
corner, which clearly, you know, being with the Giants is something that somebody by the name of
Dayball probably was familiar with as well.
Yeah. Wondale Robinson, familiar with Brian Dayball's system, the way he does things.
That to me resonated. He's going to be a playmaker for us. He's going to be a weapon for Cam Ward.
John Franklin Myers doubled with Jeffrey Simmons. You stop it already.
Yeah. And throw Solomon Thomas in there, too. He's going to get some reps.
These boys are going to be coming on that side of the football. So if spending money, guys,
and free agency is any indicator.
The Titans have gained national attention for sure.
I mean, they brought in players that can make an immediate impact,
like the ones I just mentioned.
You know, players signed for more than just one year.
That could be, you know, they're going to be here for a minute.
It shows you the confidence that they have these guys.
Now, some concerns maybe they didn't address running back.
Maybe they shouldn't know.
Linebacker either, but pretty much everything else, they pretty much addressed.
Austin Slotman, he knows Brian Dayball as well.
Yeah.
They're with them as a center.
So he might not be like the baddest free agent at center,
but he definitely knows what we're going to be running, right?
So I think that pretty most,
I'd probably give them,
I'm not going to be as tough as Kayla.
I'm going to give them the name minus.
Because I do love some of the guys that they brought in.
The one question I have for you guys is,
I don't really know if I was really understanding the tight end signing of Daniel Bellinger.
I'm not quite sure he's a great blocking titan.
either. So I'm just like what exactly were they looking for out of this signing? Yeah,
8 million AAV for a backup tight end is certainly a little bit questionable. I'm sure he's a
better blocking tight end than Chig of Conquo. Because I mean, you know, he was, that wasn't his thing.
Chig was a receiver tight end. But there is the familiarity piece there too. And that would seem to be
the big theme in this free agency period, right? Is like like get the guys who we know can run the system and have
the cheat sheet to the test.
Yeah. What grade you give them, Julian?
I'm going to go B on this one.
I'm going to...
Worse than Kayla.
Whoa. I thought I was going to be the difficult grader.
And it's not for anything other.
Like, look, the move I love outside of the ones you guys mentioned,
the John Franklin Myers, Alante Taylor, I've said it on the show that I really like.
Juan Dale.
I actually like the Jermaine Johnson trade because you address the edge.
Maybe you still get one, whether it be at four or 35.
But a lot of times when you think of trading a second round pick of Tavondre sweat that you don't want anymore,
you're not going to get a value for value.
Jermaine Johnson was a first round pick and familiarity with Sala and was a pro bowler before getting hurt.
And now you're getting him the year after the year of the injury.
And so he could only be better.
So I like that move a lot.
Again, the Daniel Bellinger signing, I still think they need some help Bhop on the O line.
And maybe they're really high on Jackson Slater.
but I look at Cordell and Austin,
Cordell Volson and Austin Schlotman more as depth pieces.
Me too.
Then I do as like,
hey,
let's,
these are the guys for the future.
And so you need to get the offensive line right,
because as Bhop said many times in the show,
Cam can't be running for his life out there.
You can't put him in harm's way.
And the hope is that,
though Kayla loved Mitch Trubisky,
the hope is that we never see Mitch Trubisky in again.
Exactly.
So,
you know,
funny thing is Chicka Conquo got that three year $30 million deal.
So maybe it shows you what the commander's thought about him,
versus what we thought about Daniel Beliger.
Did you see what he said today?
What do he say?
He said that he's excited for the opportunity to run real routes.
Yep.
It was a blow at Brian Callahan for sure.
Well, I mean, where's the lie?
I mean, where's the lie?
Oh, man.
Yeah.
So hopefully that means it ushering in of a new era of that.
So no players could talk about the current Titans that way.
Hopefully it's a more stable ship.
You can Brian.
Brian ain't going to take that.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I want to see the Giants obviously will play the commanders twice this year.
So we'll see if there's any words exchange on that front.
On the other side of the break, I wanted to try something new.
If you see on the squad show rundown list today, we have B.Hop's hop take, whether it's
about free agency, whether it's about the uniforms.
I'm going to give the floor to B.
on the other side of the break.
And we're going to try a little bit something different here on the Titan Squad Show.
Keep it locked here.
All right, college basketball is nonstop.
Big games, tight spreads, momentum swings every single night from early tip-offs to late-night
West Coast shootouts.
There's always action on the board.
And now Fanduil is giving you a way to turn that energy into even bigger potential wins
with a college basketball parlay profit boost.
You can build any college whose parley you want, rivalry games, rank matchups, whatever you
like to do.
Hey, if you're here in Nashville, the SEC tournament's going to.
on a Bridgestone Arena. Vandy just beat Tennessee. You got Vandy in Florida. That's going to be a big
game for a chance at the SEC title game spot on the line. Go safe, go bold, ride with the team
you've been following all season. It's your parlay, your style, now with more upside behind it.
Head to fandul.com to get started. That's fandul. Play your game. All right. Now it's time
for a new segment we're going to try called BHops Hop Take. BeHop, I'm going to give you the floor.
anything Tennessee Titans related, it's all you.
100%.
Last night, I had the pleasure of introducing myself to Robert Sala.
Great guy.
Man, that guy is good looking, Caleb.
But he's fine.
Oh, you, God.
My man's cut up.
He looks good.
You know, that's why you got eight kids.
I also went down and introduced myself to Brian Daibald.
And I don't know why, guys, I told them what I was thinking.
I told him my hot tail.
I said, well, we better enjoy you while we got you because you're out of here in two years.
He's like, what?
First off, he asked me where I lived, told him where I lived.
I said, where you live?
He told me where he lived.
I'm not going to tell you guys.
I don't know what you're robbing the guy's one of the guys' neighborhood.
But when he said where he was living, he said, we're staying.
Like, we're going to be here.
I was like, I hear you.
I hear you talking.
But in essence, I give two years we have Brian Dayball.
There's two scenarios are going to happen.
One, he either does tremendous in developing Cam Ward
and is the obvious catalyst for that change.
You know, a struggling team, they're going to see that what he's done with Cam Ward.
And they're like, you know what?
Hey, we're picking second in the draft.
This sucks.
And they fired their head coach.
Guess what they're going to be looking at?
They're going to look at the guy that turned,
around the Tennessee Titans program and made Cam Ward relevant. That's what they do. That's what
happened with Clint Kubiak. That's what happened with Kellan Moore. That's what happened. All the
great offensive coordinators that are ultimately up for head coaching jobs. They did a great job
being coordinators. Or it could go the opposite direction. He doesn't help Cam at all. You know what
team is still struggling offensively. He's out. He's going to get fired. And he might even end up
taking Robert with him. Now, I don't expect the latter to happen because Brian Daveoff is too good
coach and I think Cam Ward has too much talent for those two to not connect and make something
special here. But I do think that we only got Brian Daeball for a couple of years, either way.
All right, Kayla. You heard B-Hops hop take. Yep. Brian Davel for maybe longer than we're thinking,
but hopefully Titans fans, that's true because that means, seems some fireworks offensively,
Kayla. Yeah, look, it's not, it wouldn't be surprising, Brad. And, and, and,
what I'll say about that is for the first part in terms of if he is able to turn this
offense around in that short amount of time, you better bet your britches that he is going to
have the eyes of NFL teams around the league that are going to send or say, hey, we're going
to give you a second chance of being a head coach.
That's absolutely not going to be something that would blow my mind.
What I ask about it, Brad, is if he does.
does do that and he does find success. Is there a world? Because we're, we're so used to this world of
every head coach, they've had maybe a chance to do something as a head coach. They failed to do it.
Then they find themselves back as a coordinator where then they find success again. Is there a world
where maybe Dayball finds happiness in what he's doing here and they maybe don't reach the Super Bowl
in two years, but they see the track of like it is in the future.
And you know what?
I'm going to stay here.
I know money always is the big part of it.
I know that that is part of it.
But sometimes I feel like coordinators, really good coordinators are meant to be good
coordinators.
And they're not always meant to be head coaches.
I'm not saying that about dayball.
I'm just saying like, is there a world where he could possibly stay here longer
to reach the ultimate goal.
Do you know that if Brian Daibol was successful with Cam Ward
and making this a relevant team and he turned down a job to be a head coach,
that will be news in itself.
Yeah.
Because any team that's desperate like that,
they're going to throw the kitchen sink at this dude.
I know.
So almost like you can be looking at that, man, you know, turn on all this.
It would have had to have been an unbelievable connection here.
They would have to have Brian Daibald Steakhouse downtown or something.
to want to stick around
because it's got to be some incentive.
Now, he doesn't have kids
that are as young as Robert Salas kids.
Robert might be like, hey, look,
my kids are starting school.
I've already pulled my older ones out of school
two or three times.
We're in New York and we're in San Fran
and now we're in Nashville.
I'm not going to do that to them anymore.
But then again, I guess that's the life of a coach, right?
That's why I didn't get any coach.
Because I didn't want to be running around
all over the continental.
So I think it would be a unique situation
for him to turn it down.
National's easy to fall in love with.
I remember when we moved up here in 97 and one of our guys told us, hey, you go what?
You guys are going to start looking for houses up here.
You're going to love it so much.
We're like, get out of here.
It's Nashville.
We're from Houston, bro.
Houston, you know?
And guess what?
Two years later, I sold my house.
I just built in Houston and moved up here.
So it just shows you how infectious Nashville can be.
I just think that's going to be a crazy situation if he were to find some sort of resolve and say,
I'm not going to chase the dollar.
I've been doing great here.
I've been developing this roster.
You know, these people here love me.
and I'm here to stay.
I just don't see that happen.
And another thing, I mean,
Brian Davel was a coveted,
coveted offensive coordinator this offseason.
Turning down teams better than the Titans
to come here because he believes in what they're doing.
So if they were able to get him anything past one year,
I think is you're playing with house money at that point,
if you're the Titans.
Real quick, B-Hop.
if Brian Dable, you know, because part of the, part of the Robert Solit reason why he was hired is he had a backup plan, right?
He had a backup plan, contingency plan for Brian Dable leaving potentially after the year.
What do you think was said in that backup plan?
What would your backup plan be?
That's a great question.
Usually when, you know, a guy proves his work because he has just an immediate effect, he's got great communication skills, people love him.
They try harder.
You know what I mean?
It's like you're willing to go the extra mile for someone that you have a connection with.
You know what I mean?
And how easy is that connection made in the national football league?
I think one, it takes time.
And unfortunately, we don't have time because results are what we're looking for.
No one's going to keep spending their hard-earned dollars to watch his team that struggling.
They'll watch that on TV.
You know what I mean?
You're not going to suffer through parking in concessions that cost $500 and all this craziness.
when they can just say, hey, look, I can be frustrated on my own couch.
Give them something to be excited about.
So find the right staff, finding the right people that motivate your roster,
the people that you're picking.
You know what I mean?
That's the tail of it right there.
And I don't know what the backup plan would have been.
You know what I mean?
It's just a good thing that we are in a situation now where we have respected coaches
that have names to them.
Because not only do the fans recognize who we're talking about,
the players do too.
You see what I'm saying?
So when Brian Dayball steps into the office coordinator
to the room as an office coordinator.
They're not looking at somebody that never heard of
or somebody that was a quarterback coach last year for somebody else.
They're looking at a dude that was a head coach at one point
that has actually done some really good things offensively.
I think he was helping out Jackson Dart.
You know, a little bit, a little bit.
He's getting better.
Obviously, it wasn't enough.
So we'll just see how this thing works out.
I think they're in a good position right now.
One more thing to add to this.
I really truly feel like that this,
timing wise is there's no better terms in terms of timing because I don't know a few years ago
this would all work out where Dave all comes over and Solow, you know, comes.
It's just like Nashville's growing so much and it's starting to actually build a name for
itself. And not only do players want to go to Nashville, like Tennessee, no state income
tax, like there's a lot that's working for Nashville right now to become like a sexy
destination for not only coaches but for players as well.
Good point. That's true. My sports director, Corey Curtis, has been here for like 20 years
and he said it's Nashville five years ago is different than 10 years ago. So certainly becoming
a destination city. You guys would know that all too well. All right. On the other side of the
break, there is a couple questions I wanted to get to before we say goodbye for the day. We'll do that
next on the Titan Squad show. Keep it locked. All right. Real quickly, guys, Mac Jesus, he is a regular
of the show. He has who is the number one draft pick for us? Number four overall. I would
implore you, Mac, to go watch some of the previous episodes that we've done, but I'll leave
the floor to you guys. Who do you guys like at number four overall
right now? There are going to be so many songs with the word love.
Love, exciting and new. Come aboard.
We're expecting you.
Jeremiah Lobo.
If they don't, they stuck.
You know what I'm saying?
What did I say was one of the positions that they have not addressed yet?
Running back.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So what are they looking at in the draft?
Yeah.
And with Arizona bringing back Connors and Alger, getting Alger,
Saints getting ETN and the chief's getting Kenneth Walker.
It's not ETN anymore.
HN.
Sorry about that.
Yes.
Good point, Kayla.
Travis H.
H.N.
and the chief's getting Kenneth Walker,
that's a signal that maybe Jeremiah Love's not going to be available for any of those teams.
Or maybe,
or Arizona wasn't interested in they're going in a different direction,
which I don't see Jeremiah Love going out of the top five.
And I think somebody put an AI picture of like love in the Titans,
the New Jersey's,
and I said, man, looks good.
Yeah.
Think about that, man.
No, you'll be surprised to hear.
I mean, after, look, I still think finding a,
young pass rusher that you can have for a long term here that can be a difference maker is
definitely still like there for me.
But I will say that I've probably shifted a little bit more after free agency, a little bit
more towards the Jeremiah Love, you know, at number four pick.
Because I do think we are considering him possibly one of those guys that can change
and offense. And anytime you can help out a young quarterback as well and have them kind of grow
together in this offense, it would be pretty special and it would be very fun to watch as well.
I'm laughing at something. He said, Mike Bell said, the love boat soon will we drafting another
stud. The love boat. That's pretty clever. You cut it down. You got it down.
That's funny.
That is hilarious.
My last question also before I just wanted to shout out the chat.
There's some Titans fans that are listening to us all the way from Washington State.
Kayla, hails from Spokane area.
There you go.
So welcome.
We love listening.
We love you guys listening to us here on the Titan Squad Show.
Last thing for you, how does the coach retain their staff for years?
Because B-Hop, part of your hop take is you think it could happen here in Tennessee.
Success.
Success.
Let's just say you're a winner, perennially, right?
You're running the risk of leaving and going someplace that ain't as comfortable as what you just left.
And that's what you have to consider.
You have to consider the environment.
You have to consider the job you're doing and where you are.
If you're a contender, do you really want to go to a team that's struggling to start all over again?
If they're paying you good money, the way that you can stick around or at least have your staff retained is the exact same thing that might end up taking them away is success.
because everybody loves coming to the building when you win it.
You can't keep people out of the building when you win it.
You know what I mean?
So at the end of the day, the winning is what makes people want to stick around.
My answer is a little different to this one.
Being here in Niners Territory, I live in Northern California, if you guys don't know this,
I will say this.
It's hard to keep a staff around when you are a good organization, when you're a good team,
when you're a good coach.
So I would say the tip for me is like Kyle Shanahan here in 14th,
Ninersland where they lose coaches every single year, i.e. Robert Sala. The biggest thing is know your
identity as a head coach. Know what you're going to have to fill when that coach leaves and who you're
have your list long. Have your relationships tight because you are probably going to lose those
coaches if you're a good coach and a good team. But you've got to be prepared as a head coach and
have your identity stacked to what you want in terms of filling those roles.
Well said. I think it's a good place.
Yeah, good place to end there right there for the weekend.
