Hey folks, Aaron here.
For those that don't know, Deeper lore is a bonus episode designed to be a topical guide.
If you enjoyed the most recent episode of the main lore show, episode 245 Evasive, then
this bonus is all about what other episodes have covered similar topics.
Now, this week's new lore episode is all about a particular branch of Seamonster folklore,
but it's not the first time we've gotten our feet wet, so to speak, in this family of stories.
So here are three older episodes from deeper in the lore catalog that might be fun to
revisit.
First up, go download episode 59, a deep fear.
From the Kraken to Mermaid's and everything in between this classic episode is sort of
a best of for lovers of ocean-based
cryptids.
You'll love it.
Next, download episode 108, debris.
The ocean is very deep, and so is the folklore about the monsters that call it home.
In this particular episode, we feature a bunch of them, and then finish with a big story
about a sailor named Arthur Rossstrin, and the sea monster he was able to study and sketch
a little over a century ago. Really good stuff. And lastly, in Episode 90, mind the gap, we go inland to explore
the creatures that are rumored to lurk in our freshwater lakes. I won't spoil all of it,
but this is where you should go if you want to hear more about water horses, as well as everyone's
favorite Scottish cryptid. So, there you go. Follow up on this week's episode about sea monsters
with a trip into the past.
Episodes 59, 108, and 90 are waiting for you
in this podcast feed,
nor you can find their direct links
in the description for this episode.
And until next time, stay spooky.
time. Stay spooky.
