In this classic episode, we explored the secrets that lurk beneath the streets of Edinburgh
and Scotland.
It's full of so many shadows.
It's hard to pick a favorite,
really. Just go listen for yourself and enjoy the cool, damp air.
Next, download episode 120, Whistle While You Work. This one takes us below the surface to
learn about the twisted folklore of miners. No, not kids, the miners who dug deep into the earth,
looking for coal and precious metals. In all my years of making this show, I don't think I've encountered a more superstitious
occupation than mining, and it makes for some great stories.
And finally, you can't go wrong with Episode 2, The Bloody Pit.
This classic has it all.
Dark tunnels carved out of a mountain at great cost, tragic accidents deep within, and the
ghosts that keep drifting out to the surface.
It's so dang spooky, and if you haven't heard it in a while, it's worth a revisit.
