Starting point is 00:00:01 Hey folks, Aaron here. Welcome back to another edition of Deeper Lour, a bonus episode that's designed to serve as a topical guide to the most recent episode of lore. In this short bonus episode, I will dig into our vast archive of 10 years of episodes and point out some old ones that fit well with this week's newest. The hope is that you can keep this spooky feeling going well into the weekend and put a handful of old episodes into a new, more powerful context. So let's get started, shall we? This week for Episode 299, Un sinkable, we head to sea aboard the most famous ocean liner of all time, the Titanic. But it's not the first time that we've discussed legends and folklore on ships, so here are three older episodes that should pair up nicely
Starting point is 00:00:44 with this week's new one. First up, episode 21 Adrift. This is just pure classic ghost ship folklore. Wrecked or not, these ships have managed to stick around and haunt the seas, giving us amazing stories to enjoy. Give this one a listen. Next, download episode 104, Anchored. The ocean is a very deep place, so naturally there are a lot more ghost ship stories than one episode could ever hold.
Starting point is 00:01:08 So here's another, filled with amazing tales of ships that came back from the dead. Enjoy. And finally, there's episode 122, The Shortest Straw. Now, I'm cheating here a bit because this one isn't about ghost ships,
Starting point is 00:01:21 but it is about creepy ocean-borne tragedies. Just be sure to save this one for a time when you are not eating. Trust me on that. And there you go. Follow up this week's brand new episode with a trip into the past. Episodes 21, 104, and 122 are waiting for you in this podcast feed. You can just scroll through your app to find them, or you can tap on their direct links in the description for this episode.
Starting point is 00:01:46 And until next time, stay spooky.
