Marketing Secrets with Russell Brunson - The Future of the E-commerce Revolution Inside ClickFunnels

Episode Date: July 24, 2024

Almost half the speakers at this year’s Funnel Hacking LIVE are talking about e-commerce, and there’s a reason why! First, we’ve made some incredible advancements in ClickFunnels' e-commerce eng...ine with the groundbreaking partnership with Zendrop. This partnership allows ClickFunnels users to seamlessly add over a million products to their stores or funnels, revolutionizing the way we approach ecommerce and dropshipping. To highlight the focus on e-commerce at this year’s Funnel Hacking LIVE, I inquired from two remarkable speakers for this year’s first-time virtual event, Trey Lewellen and Alison Prince. Trey Lewellen, one of the top e-commerce sellers on the ClickFunnels platform and a co-trainer in the One Funnel Away Challenge, joins me to share his journey and strategies. Trey, who has been with ClickFunnels since the beginning, recounts how he went from struggling to sell a hundred flashlights to generating (truly) unbelievable sales in just a few months (you have to hear the number to believe it - trust me). His story is proof to the power of the spirit of being a #funnelhacker and the power of using ClickFunnels. Trey also gives a sneak peek into his FHL presentation, where he will delve deeper into the tactics and secrets behind his e-commerce success. Then I’ll bring on Alison Prince to share her phenomenal repeatable successes in the world of physical products. Having generated over eight figures in sales on repeat, Alison's expertise in creating and selling simple, yet highly profitable products is unparalleled. She provides a glimpse into her methods and the unique challenges she has developed to help others succeed in e-commerce. Both Trey and Alison will be delivering powerful sessions at Funnel Hacking LIVE, offering invaluable knowledge for anyone looking to scale their e-commerce business. Key Highlights: ClickFunnels Integration with ZenDrop: Discover the latest updates and how to leverage almost unlimited ecommerce products with this dropshipping partnership. Trey Lewellen’s Success Story: Hear how Trey went from zero to $30 million in sales with a single product and more lessons from each launch thereafter. Welcome back to the Marketing Secrets Podcast. I have another FHL preview show for you guys today.
Starting point is 00:00:35 I hope you enjoyed the last one, the last episode that we did the preview show. You had a chance to hear from Richmond Din on tiny challenges as well as pay some more with that building community. I got some other exciting things for you guys as well. As you guys know, one of the big updates in the brand new ClickFunnels is we've been working on our e-commerce engine and it is insane. We can do stores now.
Starting point is 00:00:51 You can do e-commerce stuff. You can do, you know, sizes and like all the shipping and all the cool stuff you want in e-commerce store. And it's powerful. In fact, we're launching a new t-shirt company. We're launching a whole bunch of other e-commerce products. And so, in fact, we just announced a brand new partnership we are doing with a company called Zendrop. We're literally logging your ClickFunnels account, add Zendrop, and you have access to like over a million
Starting point is 00:01:12 products. You click a couple of buttons, they add it to your ClickFunnels store or your funnel, and you start dropshipping in real time. It is insane. I'm going to be doing a whole webinar and a challenge and a whole bunch of stuff around this because it's literally going to change the entire industry for me and for you and for everybody. But for right now, this episode, I just wanted to go deep and share some information from people who are this year's Fun Locking Live are going to be talking about e-commerce. You'll notice this year's FHL is kind of interesting. Half the speakers are e-commerce, half are info product and expert, kind of going back and forth at each side for both business models.
Starting point is 00:01:40 So if you've been to Fun Locking Live in the past, you're like, I want to learn more about e-commerce, how to grow and scale an e-commerce business. This year, you're in luck because half the speakers are literally talking about that. And so during this podcast interview, you're going to hear two preview shows. One is with Trey Llewellyn. Trey is the number one e-commerce seller on the ClickFunnels platform. He is one of the co-trainers in One Funnel Away Challenge. It's me and him.
Starting point is 00:02:00 I'm teaching the expert path. He teaches the e-com path. And Trey is brilliant, one of my favorite marketing minds of all time. He was like ClickFunnels account number like three or five or something crazy like that. And he's been doing this for a long time. So he's going to be showing you guys during this preview how he is building e-commerce funnels. And then at Funnel Hacking Live, he's going to go really deep and show you guys behind
Starting point is 00:02:15 the scenes of everything he's doing. And it's going to blow your mind. So that's number one. And number two, Allison Prince is going to come speak. A lot of you guys don't know. A lot of you guys see Allison. She's got some really cool challenges, teaching people e-commerce. But what most people know is she has literally made,
Starting point is 00:02:28 what, 79, over nine figures selling physical products on the internet. There are very few human beings who have ever done that. She's done that. She's like nonchalantly just like drops it in casual conversation, doesn't brag about it. But she is one of the most talented people
Starting point is 00:02:39 I've ever met in my entire life. And so she's speaking for like live this year, teaching us how she creates products, physical products to sell. And they're simple things like a block of wood or a French fry holder. And that's like, it doesn't make any sense. But during the preview show,
Starting point is 00:02:52 she actually talks about that. So you guys will get a glimpse of what that actually looks like. And then in Funnel Hacking Live this year, she's gonna go deep on it. It's gonna be a lot of fun. So that's the game plan. If you don't have your tickets yet to Funnel Hacking Live,
Starting point is 00:03:00 I hope you heard the announcement in the news is that we are doing a really special offer pricing right now for you guys on the podcast, where basically you can go to funnelhackinglive.com, put your credit card in and we won't bill you anything. And then you can have a chance to go through the entire Funnel Hacking Live, the three and a half days of the event. And then when it's over, you decide if it's worth it or not. If it's worth it for you, we'll bill your credit card for under 200 bucks, right? And if you're like, ah, that wasn't worth it for me, you let me know and we will not bill your credit card. So you have a chance to literally sample Funnel Hacking Live and then
Starting point is 00:03:27 pay for it afterwards if you love it. Like how crazy is that? Nobody's ever done that before. Most people can't do that because most of their stuff's not that good. But I know that Funnel Hacking Live will blow your mind. And so again, you go to funnelhackinglive.com right now. You can go put a credit card in, you don't pay anything, and then the event's over. Then you let us know if it's worth it. It's kind of like going to a movie and like, I'm going to watch the movie first. And then if it's worth it, I'll buy a ticket, right? Or going to a restaurant, eating the entire dinner. Then afterwards, you're like, that food is pretty good.
Starting point is 00:03:48 I'm going to pay for that. Or if like that, that was not that good. You don't have to pay for it, right? Same thing's happening now. Let us serve you first. Prove this stuff is work. And so if you want to get your tickets, this is just Funnel Hacking Live. If you don't have them yet, go to funnelhackinglive.com and go get your tickets.
Starting point is 00:03:59 All right. With that said, this is our next preview episode. You're going to have a chance right now to hear from Trey Llewellyn and then Allison Prince, both talking from their different perspectives on how to use e-commerce to grow a business using ClickFunnels. I hope you guys enjoy this episode. It's a lot of fun. With that said, I'm going to pass it over to Trey and Allison to teach you guys some really cool stuff about e-commerce. In the last decade, I went from being a startup entrepreneur to selling over a billion dollars in my own products and services online.
Starting point is 00:04:23 This show is going to show you how to start, grow, and scale a business online. My name is Russell Brunson, and welcome to the Marketing Secrets Podcast. Hello. I'm so glad to have you speaking this year, Spot IQ. I think this is your third time, fourth time speaking? You spoke the very first one in Vegas, and then it was like, I think number three. I think it's my second. I think it's really my second.
Starting point is 00:04:43 Possibly. I know two for sure. You know two for sure? Okay, then it's my second. I think it's really my second. Possibly. I know two for sure. You know two for sure? Okay, then it's my third. Okay. The first was great. The second was obviously so good. Obviously memorable.
Starting point is 00:04:53 Yeah. And now we're back. So I'm excited. So cool. Well, I'm excited because me and you were talking six, seven months ago, and I was showing you guys, just showing you kind of like what we're doing in clickfunnels e-commerce and stuff like that and uh and you kind of proposed the idea of like what if we like what if you came back start training all the clickfunnels people on e-commerce funnels and it's been cool as hopefully everyone in the community knows like we launched
Starting point is 00:05:15 the new one funnel way challenge inside there's two tracks there's me teaching the expert business and you're teaching the e-commerce business and it's been fun because i like the feedback has been insane because you there's a whole a 10-day challenge everyone can go through and then after that like you've been going like me and you both been going live every single you're going live every single week answering questions and um the feedback people have been going crazy like our community's in love with you like that i trade the best so of course you have to speak for like you live like you're the you're the face of e-commerce now which is which is exciting let's go we'll take it so we tell us
Starting point is 00:05:45 the story the shorter version this there's a long version but um when you got started in click funnels you were trying to do a bunch of stuff and then after a bunch of funnels one blew up you tell kind of story because i think you know i tell people this concept like you're one funnel away all the time but like you literally weren't you tried a bunch of them one just exploded i want people to hear that story because it's so powerful yep um so that funnel uh we can go directly into it so basically that was a flashlight funnel and a little show and tell for you right there basically yeah this is the this is the flashlight so we had 100 of them in my closet and we were working from home and i tripped over it one day because i wanted
Starting point is 00:06:19 to go fly remote control airplanes and i was like ah we need to sell these stupid things and so i just have initially you're trying to sell them prior or you like, ah, we need to sell these stupid things. And so, I just have an issue. You try something prior or you just had something prior through, uh, this guy was going to build us a website and he charges 10 grand back then that was 10 years ago. And still, we went to run it and it didn't work. And it was like, wow. And then, uh, Kim Doyle was actually the one who referred me to ClickFunnels. She's like, Hey, Russell Brunson. I was like, who's that? She's like, he's a great guy. He's building this software. You need to check it out. And so I went to ClickFunnels.com, beautiful website, signed up. Who knew? I was like the third guy. You know what I'm saying? Me, Kim, you.
Starting point is 00:06:54 So freaking hilarious. And so, but I didn't know. I'm just sitting back there hoping to make money, right? And so anyways, yeah, I built a ugly, ugly, ugly, if we're talking ugly, this is like ugly funnel. It was a one pager and it was to sell this flashlight for $12 and 95 cents because we bought them for like five bucks, I think. And I don't know if we sent an email or if we run into Facebook, I don't know what we did, but we sold a hundred within like three days, three or four days. And so we got rid of the box and I was like, and that box had been there for two years. And I've never been like,
Starting point is 00:07:30 I think we should buy some more flashlights. And, and we're like, ah, I mean, we're kind of selling them. So let's try it. Well, the question is, is, well, how much is it on Amazon? Amazon sells these for $5. Right. And we were selling for $12.95. So we're already like twice as much as Amazon. And I remember talking to ClickBank at the time because they wanted to take our ClickFunnels account and put it on ClickBank. And I remember talking to Nick Coates, who was kind of like the guy there at the time. And he's like, dude, you should try selling it for like $26. I was like, man, going from $12 to $26, are you sure? He's like, dude, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:08:03 For whatever reason, it goes to $26. Sometimes some things work. I was like, all right going from 12 to 26, are you sure? He's like, dude, I don't know what, for whatever reason, it goes to 26. Sometimes some things work. I was like, all right, let's try it. So 26, people bought it just as much as they bought it when it was $12. I was like, holy cow. And I'm like, well, I wonder if that'll work again. So we started raising 36, 46, 56. We got that bad boy up to $56 for this flashlight that we're buying them from you know
Starting point is 00:08:26 chichi for like three dollars and they're listed on amazon for five but people are buying them from us at 56 and um yeah we did like uh 30 million dollars selling that flashlight just just one product right of just getting getting at it i mean what time dude it was a very short period of time that's what's so crazy about it. Oh, yeah, like two and a half months. Two and a half months. How many flashlights was that you sold? Do you remember the volume, how many flashlights you sold?
Starting point is 00:08:53 I mean, I would just take 30 million divided by 56. What's that? 30 million. How many zeros? That's a lot of zeros. 56. That was a little over 500,000 units. That is insane.
Starting point is 00:09:04 You probably had a whole production in China, just people cranking out flashlights for you. Anyway. Yeah, we had two factories just zinging, zinging. And they put them in these big boxes and they wrapped them with like this net, this green net. And so it was just, it was a mess. It was a mess getting them in and figuring out all the logistics. And you just don't know when something like that's going to take. And you realize that systems are really important to have. And, um, actually, I actually went to,
Starting point is 00:09:31 uh, what's that place in Las Vegas that we go to the, um, the Pirate's Cove. We went to Pirate's Cove. And I remember Alex being like, uh, dude, you're a $30 million racehorse. And I was like, whoa, that was a really cool mind shift for me. Because instead of looking at, you know, all the things we went through and the victories and the non victories and the pain, when he said that, I was like, that's really, really great. And it landed really well because I received a $30 million education, how to go build a hundred million dollar company. Right. And that was, that was powerful. And I wouldn't have been able to do it without ClickFunnels. That made it happen.
Starting point is 00:10:08 Someone's asking like, why did you stop at 30 million? The answer, you should actually go listen to my podcast. Cause I interviewed Trey on this, like the ups and downs, imagine going from zero to $30 million in sales in two and a half months. Like imagine the hiring and the firing and the chaos and the shipments and the logistics, like it burned to the ground a little bit from too much success. And so we're listening listening to the interview we won't talk about it right now because it's crazy but the coolest thing is that you got 30 million dollar education and since then now he does funnel after funnel after funnel and um and and what's cool is like trace got such a cool way in fact those guys who are in the one funnel way challenge e-com addition you've seen like the process how he
Starting point is 00:10:41 does things um but it's cool because you've done so many times and i don't want to share all your your funnels and stuff but we tell the story about the the butter the butter knife i can't remember the name of it this one yeah you've got all the products right there i like this idea where'd you come up with the butter better what's it called better butter this is the better butter spreader This is the better butter spreader. This is the better butter spreader. And so, um, this one, this one, this is a sweet, sweet little gig right here. Uh, but I had that one kind of, I think, I think I saw it on Facebook. I saw, saw somebody, you know, advertising on Facebook and I was like, oh, that's a really, but they weren't doing it right. You know, it's like someone has a good
Starting point is 00:11:22 idea, but they don't know how to market it. And I was like, man, that's a really cool product. So I went and grabbed a few, tested them out and came up with a clever name, a marketing way, and just, you know, build a nice sales page around it. And really the image, there's one image that makes that thing sell. And it's like this image with like a bread and butter. And then this, this like string cheese coming out of the, out of the, out of the knife coming across the butter stick. And that's the image that sells the, the product. And that comes, that comes from my uncle where he gave me this really good thing to know. And he goes, presentation, presentation without demonstration is just conversation. So without presenting or
Starting point is 00:12:07 demonstrate, sorry, without, without demonstrating your product, you're just having a conversation. We're just talking right now, you know, like we can talk about better butter sprayers all day long, but until I demonstrate it for you, that's when the real sale happens. And that's with our, in our sales phone, in the OFA training, we talk about demonstrating your product and making sure that the user on the other side sees how they can use it themselves and how it can better their life. So cool. What other e-commerce products do you have on your desk right in front of you? I got this one. Oh, I got that one too.
Starting point is 00:12:40 I bought that from you. This was a cool one. So this – we did like I think around three, a little under 3 million on this. So this is a beautiful Christmas ornament. This worked really well because it was a mockery of COVID. 2020. Yeah, 2020. So basically it's a little Santa hat and then people will write their names on the hat,
Starting point is 00:13:03 like Julie, Steven, you know whatever mask and then because we all had to wear masks who forgot that and then you got 2020 with the toilet paper because obviously you know people run out of toilet paper and then hand sanitizer because i was out of stock and then we had like the little the little covid see the little covid ring right here see that did you have it there's the virus right there so so we sold we sold uh you know one head two head three head four head five six and like that was going really great that went really really well we buy these i think we bought these for like 60 cents 40 cents maybe landed they're they're like a like they're bendable so they're plastic but so they don't break. Uh, and we sold them for 1295, 1295. Then, uh, Ty Lopez calls us
Starting point is 00:13:49 and he's like, I want to sell those on, uh, linen things. And so then we start selling to him. They're selling them for 1695. They sold just as many units as we sold with all of our traffic. So they double, they literally doubled our sales by just connecting ourselves with them. I mean, it's absolutely incredible of what we were able to do. So then, anyways. What's up, everybody?
Starting point is 00:14:14 This is Russell Brunson. I've got something really cool for you today from my friend Taylor Wells. And Taylor spoke at our last Funnel Hacking Live because I wanted him to share a really cool concept about what he calls the revolving pricing method. And today he decided to sponsor the podcast to give you guys more access to this super cool strategy that you are going to love. It's something we've been implementing into our high-end coaching program as well, and it is amazing.
Starting point is 00:14:33 But to kind of give you some context about this offer he's making for you guys, as you may or may not know, a few years ago, JPMorgan Chase did a study. And guess what they found? They found that the average small business only has about 28 days of operating expenses in reserve. That's right, less than a month of cash on hands. Now, if you're like me, the idea of your business being one bad month away from disaster is enough to make your stomach drop. Am I right? Especially with how the economy's been lately. It's not the time to be gambling with your finances.
Starting point is 00:14:57 So, Taylor put together this book called The Revolving Pricing Method, and it's awesome. It helps you turn every client you close into a long-term profit machine. We're not talking about one-time paydays. We're talking about creating sustainable and real predictable income for the long haul. Now here's where it gets even better. Taylor put together an awesome exclusive deal just for you guys, my marketing secrets listeners. And if you go over to wealthyconsultants.com slash secrets, you can grab the revolving price method book and over $150 worth of bonuses and get this all. It's at 70% off. And I promise you guys, as a customer of this, you are going to love it.
Starting point is 00:15:27 So if you're serious about growing your business with real stability, this is the model you need to add into your funnels. So go over to wealthyconsultant.com slash secrets, grab your 70% off deal, and let's start turning your clients into long-term revenue. Again, that's wealthyconsultant.com slash secrets. Do not miss out.
Starting point is 00:15:42 Hey, this is Russell Brunson, and I want to jump in really quick to share with you a new assessment I found out that is insanely cool. You guys know I'm obsessed with personality profiles and assessments, but this one is different because not only does it help you understand yourself, but more importantly, especially for us who are entrepreneurs, it helps us understand our employees, our teams, and get people sitting on the right seats in the bus so they can get more stuff done. I just had a chance to interview Patrick Lanchoni talking specifically about this new assessment they created called Working Genius.
Starting point is 00:16:08 And the Working Genius is awesome. Like this test, I had actually blocked out an hour to take it because I was so excited for the new assessment. And it only took me like 10 minutes or less to get it done. Yet, even though it takes only 10 minutes, you can actually apply this immediately. I took it for myself. I had my team take it.
Starting point is 00:16:22 And what's cool about it is from there, we figured out exactly what people's working geniuses are. And that's important because if you're building a team or a company, you got to figure out, make sure that you have first off the right people, but make sure the right people are sitting in the right seats on the bus. And this is what this assessment will teach you how to do. Now, normally this assessment, you can go to workinggenius.com and there's two G's in the middle, workinggenius.com, but I got you a 20% discount on the assessment, which is only $25. So don't stress, it's not an expensive test at all.
Starting point is 00:16:48 But you get a 20% discount off when you put in the keyword secrets at checkout. So go to workinggenius.com. Again, two G's, workinggenius, two G's in the middle, workinggenius.com. And then use promo code secrets, S-E-C-R-E-T-S at checkout, get 25% off. But then we'll take the test.
Starting point is 00:17:04 Again, it takes you 10 minutes, but even in a 10 minute session, you will get something that is so insanely valuable to help you understand yourself, to make sure you're working in a spot that's gonna give you the most joy, number one. But then number two, it's gonna make sure that you are with your teams,
Starting point is 00:17:18 getting them in the right seats as well. So anyway, I love this assessment. Go check it out at workinggenius.com and enter the promo code secrets for 20% discount. Take this test for yourself and for your team. And I promise you, it'll change the working dynamics amongst everybody and help your company to grow.
Starting point is 00:17:31 This is how you win with product sales is you listen to your customer. How crazy is that? So in the comments, kind of like what you guys are doing right now, you know, like we're watching the feed. I'd watch the comments and look at what people are asking for. And so someone was like, oh, I love it,
Starting point is 00:17:47 but it doesn't have a dog because like a dog, that's my child. Right. Or it doesn't have a kitty cat. Like that's my kid. And so I was like, oh, I guess we got to get dogs and cats. And so what we did was I want to call it like an invisible order bump because we made it a selection when choosing how many of these they wanted. And this is crazy. I don't even know if you know this stat, but it was 102% take rate per order. So basically I've never seen that. And it wasn't auto-checked. It wasn't like, you know, already in their car, like they were selecting this. So they might buy like, you know, three ornaments but
Starting point is 00:18:25 then they'd add one dog so every order a dog and a cat or or one of the other was going out and that added we sold those for uh i think 395 or 495 but it cost us like 10 cents they're like this little pin so so the pin goes through it back pops it in and attaches itself so they could have like 12 dogs on here if they wanted to right so they have a llama could you get a llama on there too that's what happened that's what happened is people are like do you guys got chickens do you have llamas and i'm like okay we're getting like really extreme like really niched out like i thought dogs and cats was good enough but now we're in the chicken we're in the farm farm niche
Starting point is 00:19:01 you know and then and then it was like there was all kinds of different things that people wanted. That was just like, that's a little far. But we did 3 mil with it, and it was a great product that worked out really well for us. It worked for a season, and then it was gone. It's cynical, right, sometimes? That was a flash in the pan. You only know that's going to last until the end of December and then pretty much you're out, you know, but, um,
Starting point is 00:19:28 it's a good Christmas present for you and your family. So, but that's, that's, what's crazy though, is to think like, okay, this, this flashlight, which is a $5 flashlight is a $30 million flashlight, right? This ornament, which is a, I don't know, 40 cent, $40 cents item. It's a $3 million Christmas ornament, you know? So like when we're walking around and looking at products, um, it's kind of somewhat surreal to think like, Oh man, that, that product right there, that can make me 3 million bucks. So that product right there can make me $6 million just by selling a lot,
Starting point is 00:20:00 a lot of those to a lot of people and, you know, making the best of it. Or the better brush sprayer. I don't know what the numbers on this one is, but that one's done really well too. So cool. So it's cool. You want to talk about this one? Yeah, let's go. I always take more time than I'm allotted and I love it.
Starting point is 00:20:16 We got eight minutes, so we got to be off. I was going to say. So this one. And we're done. All right. We'll talk about that one on the next one. Dude, I think it's awesome. So, um, so this year's fun.
Starting point is 00:20:28 I can live. Obviously you're gonna come because there's a lot of people talk about e-commerce, but I think you got the most fascinating business model because you're finding those little things. You create the funnels. You have a very specific way. You create the funnels, design them for maximum like cart value, uh, order value, every single one.
Starting point is 00:20:42 And it's just like, I love watching what you do all the time. It's been fun watching, uh, just the one fun way challenge and watch you're doing it. I'm pumped to have you come to funnel hacking live to kind of show people how to do this, how to find the products, how to create them. Like, so I guess my question for you is like, what are you gonna be talking about funnel hacking live this year? Do you know for sure you still kind of put it all together? Dude, I'm, I'm man, I'm, I'm putting it together right now. Like I got, I, one thing that I was going to think about doing was how we find winning products. Yeah. I think that would be a pretty stellar –
Starting point is 00:21:09 I always question a lot of people. Like how do you find these products? Where do you buy them from? Like how do you – like, you know, the Christmas award. How would you have known that? How would you find it? I think that would be good. I think another thing though, dude, I told this to – I was talking to a couple of other people.
Starting point is 00:21:20 It's like Russell is such a great interviewer. I would almost be up to having you and me just there. And like, it's not Trey's speech. It's whatever Russell pulls out of me. And, and that's the speech. Cause like every time we do a call or a podcast and, you know, like I, I go into it like, Oh, I hope this goes well. And then I leave, I'm like, damn, that was like really good. You know, it's just, you're a great interviewer. Like you're just so good at asking really great questions and you pull the things out of me that I'm like, Oh yeah, if I should tell them that, you know, I don't know, maybe we should take a vote. Yeah. Who's the vote? Who
Starting point is 00:21:51 wants to try to prepare something? Who wants me to work hard and prepare something on my side? Yeah. I'll put more on your plate. That's, that's what we should do here, right? It's going to be awesome. Okay. Well, as you know, um, all of our speakers who are speaking this year are throwing in some kind of speaker bonus for those who have tickets. So I know we talked before we jumped on a couple of cool things. Do you know what you want to give people for a bonus for those who get their tickets today at FunnelHackingLive.com? Well, I think a really cool name would be like a tray bundle. Ooh.
Starting point is 00:22:18 A tray bundle. We have some cool tray stuff we could bundle up and put together. We could bundle up because I know we got a couple of things that we've done together in the past that i don't even know if they're even i don't even know if they made it to market honestly they might just like be in the archive still that's like oh this is their major production so we could even pull that stuff out but um um what do you think like the four the four advanced trainings yeah cool when trey filmed the ofa stuff afterwards he's like i want to build film some advanced stuff for those who are like more advanced e-commerce and those turned out to be
Starting point is 00:22:49 insanely good like yeah so do i talk about what those are because i think there's something unique if someone has an e-commerce business they want one like how to grow and scale it right yep yep um yeah let me get my you catch me off guard i love it let me grab let me get my, you catch me off guard. I love it. Let me grab, let me grab my notes. Make sure I don't tell you the wrong thing here. Uh, advanced trainings. Good thing I have this stuff'm like, you know, a source of information. So what do we talk about? So we talked about, oh, that was our that was our accelerator stuff. So basically, you know, we talked about one big thing. One big thing is, you know, one product, one offer, one traffic source, right? How to find how to find winning products, which is obviously a big piece of it. But then we went into e-commerce expert accelerator advanced. That's right. Oh yes. This was, this was good stuff. So, uh, I talk about the difference between a profit center and a debt center. And dude, I have shared this with, I don't know, maybe a handful of people from when I learned it. And I remember this, this couple that came to me and they were like, you know, doing the same thing or whatever. And they had their own fulfillment in their, in their, uh, facility. Okay. Back home, they both came to me and I was like, so what, so who's,
Starting point is 00:24:15 who's watching over the fulfillment right now? They're like, Oh, we got this really great manager. She's awesome. I was like, okay, so like you got cameras or anything that we could like, you know, check in on them. Like, Oh yeah. So he pulls up his phone and we look at it and they're all on their phones. They're all like one lady. One lady was eating lunch. This lady's like kicked back watching TikTok. And I and I looked at him. I was like, so how's that going?
Starting point is 00:24:33 And they're like, we thought this was we obviously naive. Right. And so they went back and they fired everybody. And they had a construction crew come in and, and destroy the whole fulfillment center and they turned into office space. And so they took what we realized with some quick math was obviously that was a, that was a debt center in their facility and how to take that and become a profit center. So I go over that. Uh, that's one thing I go over in the advanced training. And then I go over doubling your productivity, which is really cool. Like, how do I get someone,
Starting point is 00:25:07 I think someone asked you that one time, like Russell, how do you get so much stuff done in such little time? I kind of illustrated that of how I kind of do it. And then, Ooh, this one's a really powerful one is our quarterly meetings. So how we structure quarterly meetings and make sure everybody's on the same track and listening to the same drumbeat. Because you and I, like, you know, we're fast-paced runners. And I don't know about you, but I know everything that's going on in my business up here. But it's really hard for me to know if everybody knows what I'm talking about, including my wife. You assume that your team knows everything you're thinking.
Starting point is 00:25:43 They're like, what are you thinking? Yeah, that's a bad assumption and so these quarterly meetings the way they're structured we do it the same every single time and dude our business like it's hard to describe it's like it's kind of like uh maybe like marriage counseling so like you know your relationship you think your relationship's going great and then you're like go to marriage counselor like oh my gosh like we were missing so many things but we're so well more bonded and connected now. Like this is how we do it. So that's what we do every quarter is we make sure like everybody's synced up. Everybody's bonded the right way.
Starting point is 00:26:14 And that's what I go over in that advanced training. And then that's cool. The other one was the flow charts building out. Oh, yeah. Flow charts. So basically when we built a funnel, when we build a funnel, I always thought that every funnel was different, which it is with the product. But I felt like the way we build it is just completely different and whatever. So I learned this from Ryan dice from one of his masterminds and you,
Starting point is 00:26:43 how he uses sticky notes to like build this flow chart and then how he puts that flow chart into like a Trello board or a ClickUp or a Monday.com and follow that flow chart. And then you can hand that flow chart off to somebody else and they know exactly what to do. And so I go over that of how to create that system inside your business. So that way you can just hand tasks off and then go do like what you're really good at and let someone else do that work which is delegation right there so i don't know if you wanted me to go through all those but i just said i think it's cool can i throw one other bonus too from you that you that i have on my side i think would be really cool if that was enough sure i think that's amazing i think for those who like want to like understand ecom fast when we launched click phones 2.0 you flew to boys and you did a training that was like uh you went through the structure like here's the e-commerce funnel here's what launched ClickFunnels 2.0, you flew to Boyce and you did a training.
Starting point is 00:27:26 You went through the structure. Here's the e-commerce funnel. Here's what this, this, this, this. You gave the perfect blueprint that was insane. Then we built an entire funnel in 2.0 based on your framework and your template. Oh, wow. Anyone who wants to do e-commerce, I would love to also put that in there. You watch this video, you'll see exactly how to do it.
Starting point is 00:27:45 You get a template and then you just plug in your e-commerce product and they can like hit the ground running. So you cool if I throw that in too? That'd be awesome. Yes. All right. Yeah. Okay. So the beginners,
Starting point is 00:27:51 you get that funnel install and the template and then the advanced, you get all the other stuff to help like grow and scale your businesses and that's Trey's gift. So you guys cool? That's a good offer.
Starting point is 00:27:59 That's a great offer. If you don't have your tickets yet, now is the time you guys and if you want to get Trey's bonus, the only way to get it is by going to funnelhackinglive.com and getting it right now. So anyway, thanks, Trey.
Starting point is 00:28:09 I'm pumped. First of all, I'd be grateful for all you're doing inside the ClickFunnels community with One Funnel Way with literally every ClickFunnels member every single week can jump on and ask you questions, which is insane. So if you're an active ClickFunnels member, log in, click on the live training schedule with Trey, and you go live – well, you're Tuesdays, right? Yeah, I'm Tuesdays. Tuesday, Trey goes live. Every Friday, I go live. You can go ask me and him any questions you want every single week. Just jump in there.
Starting point is 00:28:30 So log into ClickFunnels and just click on the thing, and you'll see the schedule when we're going live. And then come hang out with us and get your questions answered. But I'm pumped that you're going to be coming at FunLocking Live and really serving our audience to that level and helping people launch their e-comm funnel. So it's going to be awesome. So let's haul them out. I'm excited, too. I'm excited, too. I'm excited too. Thanks for having me.
Starting point is 00:28:49 The next speaker I'm going to announce, someone who I have had a chance to know over the last five or six years. I have so much love and respect for this person as an entrepreneur, but also just a great person, a great human being who I've learned so much from and just excited to have them here.
Starting point is 00:29:03 She's built multiple eight-figure brands selling e-commerce stuff uh doing funnels doing stores doing all like she's spoken about like live in the past sometimes on like how to get traffic from not facebook uh sometimes on physical products and this time we're gonna have you're talking about some other really cool things so with that said let's put our hands together for allison prince clap track so everyone can like clap with me as I'm doing it. What's up, Allison? How are you doing? I'm just imagining the steam from the stage going off right now. Walking through the smoke, trying not to pass out.
Starting point is 00:29:32 That's right. That's right. Can I just ask a question real quick to the audience listening right now? Yeah. For those of you that are not coming, why not? Why not? Let's knock that out of the park. This is a life-changing event I remember sitting in the
Starting point is 00:29:46 stage or in the audience that very first time and I watched Kaylin Pullen stand on stage and I looked at her and I was like huh she can do it I can do it and then the next thought I had was oh my gosh Russell's gonna ask me to speak on stage oh no I was so scared so scared. But it's so interesting how that one event changed everything for me. It gave me the belief that I had to be surrounded with people who were doing it and on that same journey. And so if you're not going to funnel hacking live, I'm like scratching my head. Why not? Like, let's get you there. You don't have to fly anywhere. You can just listen to it on your phone while you're walking, getting your steps in, in your neighborhood. Like Russell has made it so easy to come to this year. You just got to come. You just got to come. That's so cool can
Starting point is 00:30:45 i tell people can i brag about you for a few seconds maybe i might go red i know who you are you're like i hate this for everyone alice and i have the same personality profile so we're basically like the same person so i understand exactly how she feels right now i'm gonna do this make her feel uncomfortable but um so she came into our world and then they talked about like the goal is you know one comic club whatever so we have the one comic or that you know one comic club the two comic club award and then uh two comic club x two comic club c but then one of the awards we announced a few years back and uh was the too hard award it was the very first time we created this award it was for someone anybody who donated over a million dollars to charity and i was like i don't this is
Starting point is 00:31:23 ever gonna happen if anyone's going to ever win this. And I think the things I was most proud of, like after watching you and your journey, everything was like, the thing I was most proud of was when you and your entire family came on stage and you guys got the Too Hard Award, which is like the coolest thing.
Starting point is 00:31:36 Like winning, making a million dollars seems really, really cool. Giving a million dollars to charity is so much cooler. And like the goal with that whole award is to make this aspirational for other people. Like, man, that's the goal. That's what I i want to do and the fact that you did it is like anyway just one of the coolest things ever so there's i know you gotta talk me into it i was like no that feels like bragging i like to give and not like post it all over the place and he's
Starting point is 00:31:58 like no you're gonna who did you learn how to do this from i'm like oh i watched the hermoses do it and he's like did that inspire you and i was I was like, yeah. And then you said, well, don't you think you would inspire other people? I'm like, gosh, darn it, Russell. Final come on stage. Um, the picture of like, I'm like laying out your whole family's holding me while you have the award on stage. It was amazing. So yeah, that was so fun. And I actually donated it in my family's name instead of the business's name because my whole family, like they have been there for me. The other day I was doing a live and I didn't have any water and I was starting to get the
Starting point is 00:32:35 scratchy throat. So I text my son and he comes bounding in. He's like, mom, I got your drink. I got your water. What else do you need? And I was like, oh, that's so cool. Because getting these awards on stage really takes a community, whether it's your own family, maybe it's your parents, maybe it's a significant other, maybe it's your dog, right?
Starting point is 00:32:52 You need a support system. Um, and my family was it. So I put the Prince family on the award. They're so cool. Oh, it's amazing. All right. Let's talk about e-commerce for a little bit. Do you want to tell people, um, cause people, because obviously you've coached people in training and info products, but like
Starting point is 00:33:07 your background is selling physical, like actual products, simple products. Do you talk about kind of your background and what you do and how it all works? Yeah. So I was a junior high school teacher, math and science. Woo-hoo. All the shout out for all the teachers out there. I worked for an entire month. They handed me my paycheck and I looked at it and I said, that's for a week, right? And they said, oh no, that's for the month. And it was right then and there I knew that I qualified for government assistance. And I was like, I did not go to school for four years to get government assistance. And so I had to figure out what I needed to do. And everything I read out there said you had to have big bucks, big inventory, all the things, right? And I didn't have it. And so I just looked around. I'm like, what can I do now? And so I took
Starting point is 00:33:50 some leftover crafting supplies, put it out online, made my first two to $300. And I literally felt like I had won the lottery, even though I've never have. But if I could imagine that's what it felt like, because it was an idea that turned into actual cash. And I was like, oh, this is so great. You got into it. I did. I did. It was like the biggest high ever. But guess what, Russell?
Starting point is 00:34:16 Day two and day three, I sold nothing. And I almost quit. I almost walked away. And then I believe in God. If you don't believe in God, that's fine. Universe, whatever it is. Like, I think it's kind of cool how we can all believe in something else. Right. But yet still have same goals. I believe God was like, Allison, I just showed you that it worked. How dare you quit? And I was like, okay. So I got back up day four and then I sold again. And it was
Starting point is 00:34:41 in that moment I had to decide whether I was going to be in the front of the roller coaster ride of entrepreneurship or I wasn't even going to get in. And so I got in. And then we ended up growing that business to almost $50 million in sales. And I can't even say that without laughing because I was a school teacher. I was a school teacher on government assistance before I started this. And it was just such this big, crazy aha moment. And then I'm like, oh, it worked for me. I wonder if it can work for my daughters. And they made six figures before they stepped foot into junior high and high school. And I showed my sister and then I showed my friends. And then God comes back and is like, you need
Starting point is 00:35:20 to teach other people. I'm like, uh-uh. I'm just going to keep selling my stuff, selling my stuff. And then that's when God put Russell in my life. And I'm like, gosh, darn it. Now I know the direction. Now I know what I need to do. And then you gave me a community, which is so key to running an online business. And then it's just gone up from there. So it's been a wild, crazy ride.
Starting point is 00:35:44 It's so cool. I think when someone hears that sometimes like from startups, like 50 million, it's like overwhelming. So we talk about like with, with tons of clients, people you help with right now, like what are the types of products that you're creating with them? Cause it's not like they're going to China and they're sourcing you. Like, it's not like this insane thing, right? It's pretty simple. I love you can explain that part of the process. So people understand like, Oh, I can, anybody could actually do this. Yeah. And that's, I think that's the number one question that people ask me. And then they talk themselves out of it really quick. They're like, Oh my gosh, I need to come up with a brilliant shark tank idea. And then they start
Starting point is 00:36:18 going down this rabbit hole of, wait, I need to get a patent. I need to get a trademark. I need to get copyrights. And then they talk themselves out of it before they even get started. Some of my first products are laughable, like Mr. Wonderful on Shark Tank. He would give me two thumbs down, Russell. Like it would be embarrassing. Like one of the things that I did, I actually pulled it up on Google because Google never forgets anything, right? I went to a wholesale restaurant company and I bought French fry boxes. My husband comes walking down the stairs and he's like, you're going to sell French fry boxes without the French fries? And I said, uh-huh.
Starting point is 00:37:00 It's going to be huge, I promise. He said, aren't they crumpled up in the back of every single minivan across America? And I was like, oh, yeah, I didn't think about that. Like sometimes we overthink things, right? And I just knew that like containers that moms were putting snacks in were trending. People were buying those because I don't know if you've ever been in the baking world, I think baking was made to make me feel like a failure. And so when I would go to bake sales, I was like, I can't do this. And so I saw other people get those mother's cookies with frosting sprinkles on it, right?
Starting point is 00:37:39 And then put them in cute containers. I'm like, oh my gosh, these would go so cute in french fry boxes. Then I could walk in and feel like queen of the bake sale when all those sold. So I knew the vision of it. I knew how to solve people's problems with just simple, stupid stuff like a French fry box. It ended up becoming one of our biggest hitters where we ordered containers full, but it didn't start like that. I just went to a wholesale company, got white French fry boxes, took a picture of it and then sold it. And then I've done that with cupcake liners that you can get locally within, like, I don't know, three hours now, right, with Amazon.
Starting point is 00:38:13 And then I sold blocks of wood, like stupid blocks of wood. They were naked blocks of wood, which I hope I didn't say that. It doesn't get us taken down on YouTube. I don't believe that word. But it was taken down on YouTube. We bleed that word, but it was just like a little one and a half by one and a half inch block of wood. And I showed what you could do with a block of wood. And so when I show people the simplicity of what they can sell, it's a game changer. It's a game changer. Like you can sell anything.
Starting point is 00:38:39 I learned this from Steven Larson, as long as you don't go to hell and you don't go to jail, you can sell anything you want to, right? You just have to learn how to solve people's problems with it. And so what I love having people do is just like, look around your house. What stuff do you have at your house to help you to get that first sell, get the belief that you can create money online. And then that next step is easier. And then the next one, and then that's how you grow a ginormous business. It's just little tiny things every single day.
Starting point is 00:39:16 With Smartwater's pure crisp taste, there's nothing to overthink. So while you may be spiraling over double texting your crush, whether your skincare routine is working because you look the same or is doing nothing because you look the same and whatever the heck red light therapy is. It's definitely not that. Don't overthink how you hydrate. Life's full of choices. Smart water is a simple one. So money is a thing, but it's not everything. I think you really look at the importance of what are you doing with your time? The conversations that we've had with our financial advisor is very much building what that framework looks like that helps support those important things.
Starting point is 00:39:58 The places where you're investing your time and your resources, your family clearly, and those closest to you. Edward Jones. We do money differently. Visit edwardjones.ca slash different. How many of you guys have blocks of wood at home or have french fry container in the back of your minivan? If so, you got everything you need. And for your daughter, when she was in middle school and she made six figures, wasn't it pillowcases? Am I remembering the story right? It's scarves. Scarves, okay scarves so something very simple yeah so simple why because scarves sell every fall right and so they're like what can we sell i'm like we'll just sell what people are buying and they were buying scarves it's just when people get so complex with it russell you do that too i do that too when things get complex i know When things get complex, I know I just
Starting point is 00:40:45 go watch Netflix and eat chocolate, right? I need just rocking. I just need a simple fitting and you can make e-commerce so incredibly simple. Our brain just goes to, it's, it's gotta be harder than this. And you just have to say, no, just put those thoughts in timeout. It can be simple and you just solve people's problems. That's it. That's it. I mean, that's what you do. One of the most simple things you said that I hope everyone got this. Cause it's like, is it like the most simple statement, but like the most powerful statement in business, like you just got to sell what people are buying. That's what people miss. It's like, try and be creative. I got to figure out this new thing. No one's ever thought of before. It's like,
Starting point is 00:41:25 or you could just sell what people are buying. That seems what people miss. It's like trying to be creative. I got to figure out this new thing no one's ever thought of before. It's like, or you could just sell what people are buying. That seems a lot easier. So what if we just did that instead, right? Totally. Like go watch Shark Tank. You watch Shark Tank lately? I have not watched Shark Tank in a couple of years, actually. No. So many people are going with new ideas, new inventions. They're spending hundreds of thousands of dollars i mean some people are like tens of thousands right but they're getting denied and all that work and effort and money up front like sorry yeah or you can sell scarves or we did a business on pillowcases we we did that one as a case study because people were like well it's because you're alice in prance you can do this and i'm like all right watch me and so we go pillowcases without my name, without my social, without any Facebook ads,
Starting point is 00:42:09 and we grew it to a million dollar business. And then we use that as a case study. So that's, that's where you're bringing in the pillowcase. I remember, I remember pillowcases somewhere. So that's amazing. So cool. All right. So for everyone at home listening right now, what is your plan of fun hike? Like what are you gonna be sharing with everybody so that it makes them make like so they're or make sure that everybody gets their ticket like what's the thing that they're gonna learn from you specifically so they make sure they get their ticket right now i want them to leave knowing that they can pay off their ticket within a couple days i think what you're like the other speakers what i've got to offer let's get you cash fast where you're not
Starting point is 00:42:46 waiting months for a product to come in. We don't need to do that anymore. But the technology that we have today, ClickFunnels, hello, like we can go so much faster than we could when I, when I even started, um, we can just go so much faster. So I want to show you tactical things on what you can do to get going with everyday stuff to help you to sell even faster. So I've got some secret formulas that I'm going to spill the beans and share on stage. But you got to be there or you won't know it. And if you do it wrong, it's going to get all like I'm literally giving you a copy and paste on stage so that you can make this happen.
Starting point is 00:43:26 No more excuses. We're just going to do it. We'll do it together. So cool. I know, uh, uh, was it two years, three years ago, we did a coaching program together and we used to try to race the, who can make, you can get our person to make the money the fastest. And like your goal, I think it was in the first seven days to get people to like make their money. And it was so crazy how fast people implement what you said. It went from like having nothing to like making the first sale, second sale. And like, I could never beat it with what I was doing, which is like still frustrating to me. Someday I'm going to catch up to you, but like, it's crazy with e-commerce to do the correct way. Like you said, like within a couple of days afterwards, you could at least pay for your
Starting point is 00:43:57 front-looking live ticket. And then now you have the skillset to do it over and over and over again and keep them forward with it, which is really exciting. So I love, I love e-commerce. I know we, we did a little bit of debate on stage where I think I took you down, but whatever, we won't bring that up. But, um, love language, one of the five love languages is gifting and it's not gifting a digital product. It's gifting a physical product and people love to buy their shopping therapy, right? There's, uh, people have good feelings like Russell. Think about, um, your daughter just had a birthday, right? If you sent her a digital file of something and said, happy birthday, what would her reaction be? She'd go, bruh, what's this? I don't know. Okay. Now if you sent her a gift, she got to open up the box, look at it, touch it, feel it, smell it. I don't know, whatever you're
Starting point is 00:44:53 giving her, what would her reaction be? Oh, a hundred percent different. It'd be meaningful. Yeah. And so that's why getting into this physical space, this online world, selling physical products, I think is so incredibly fast. And that's why when I talk, when I teach, especially like funnel hacking live, I'm so excited to share with you just some little tiny things you can do to start getting that money to build your confidence, to know that you're going in the right direction. Just little tiny things. People, I think of it like, I heard this story from my good friend, Anna McFarland. She's over at Anna is the worst. And she said, when people are building businesses, they get in there and it's like the radio is, remember radios in a car? Okay. Some people are going to go way back and it's staticky. And you're
Starting point is 00:45:43 like, oh, the radio doesn't work. You don't throw the car away. You just go in and you just turn the dial a little bit. And a lot of times that's what you have to do in a business. You don't throw the whole business away. It's just these little tiny dial turns that make it so much more clear. And then that's where success happens. And so I just want to show you those dial turns to help you to be successful, gain that confidence to help you to keep moving forward. Does that sound good? I love it. I love it. Okay, Allison, I'm pumped for you to be following. We're like two months away, which is crazy to me. It's gonna be so much fun to hang out with you again and to share this stuff and to give all
Starting point is 00:46:17 the whole ClickFunnels community, like just more stuff, e-commerce. Again, we have some really cool things on the platform coming out in the next like week or so around e-commerce i think it's like such a great opportunity for most people that most people are missing so i'm excited for this thank you so much for putting it all together um okay do you i heard rumors you may have a speaker bonus like is this true if so what is the what is the bonus to get people off the fence and into the game okay so if you're on the fence let us know in the comments. All says it's all about timing. Um, Gabriel wants your background, Russell, by the way. Um, Holly says gifting a physical product is one of the love languages. Yes. And then people are saying bro in the
Starting point is 00:46:55 comments. So if you're on the fence, um, uh, all right, we got people coming in. I'm in, I'm in. So what I wanted to do was put together, you know, how Russell's big on swipe files. Have you guys seen his Russell? Maybe do you have it? Do you have the cookbook? Like all the swipe files around? Like, look at all of his books. You think he can find it right off the top? Probably not. This swipe file is right here. What? Yes. So I thought, I was like, how cool would it be to bring together a swipe files of stupid products that are making huge amounts of money and show you really what can happen? Like, Russell, do you know what a Stanley mug is? Yes, I happen to know. My daughter and my wife and everyone in my family has tons of them. Do you have one?
Starting point is 00:47:45 No. I'm just wondering. Okay, so Stanley Mug, it's a mug with a straw and a handle. They went from $70 million business all the way up to, what, $740 million with this mug as their main sell. It's a stupid mug. I went to a jazz game. They were charging $150 for this mug. And part of me was cheering. And the other part was like, seriously, people pay $150 for a mug. And I love those examples because it shows us it's possible. Okay.
Starting point is 00:48:18 And then here's another one. And I know you know this one because I actually, I'm 99.9% sure I saw it in your fridge when i was there a couple weeks ago um in your office uh liquid death do you know what liquid death is yes it's water it's the most like it's like duh right just duh product and they're about to hit a billion dollar business and it's water and it can so again when people are like i gotta think of something new and creative and um trademark worthy i'm like why do you have to do that mugs sell water sells and then i was writing like stance socks like Like Russell, do you have any socks? Yes. And actually stance are awesome. I do have some stance socks.
Starting point is 00:49:06 Right? They're socks. And so really it's just about what can we do to help sell products that people are already buying? It's so much easier, so much quicker and faster when people already want the product versus trying to convince them of something new. So I'm putting together, well, it's, I just text my team right before I'm like, is it ready?
Starting point is 00:49:28 Is it ready? I will send it over to your team. I think we just have to add a title to it because I haven't added a title to it, but it has got so many dumb ideas of businesses that have grown ginormous. All physical products. You good with that? The ideas, the wheels spinning in your head. That's so cool.
Starting point is 00:49:45 Okay. So if you already have a Funnel Hacking spinning in your head. That's so cool. Okay. So if you already have a Funnel Hacking Live ticket, when you go to funnelhackinglive.com, click on the members login and we'll throw Allison's bonus in there as soon as we get back from her. Starting point is 00:49:55 like, hey, where do I get tickets for Funnel Hacking Live? And I was like, funnelhackinglive.com. So that's the site in case you're not familiar with it. And you go there, get your tickets. And like I said, for Funnel Hacking Live International, it's the lowest we've ever had to add tickets. I want everybody to be able to come to this one. We've never done that before, but. Oh, my goodness gracious.
Starting point is 00:50:15 You guys, if I was there, I'd be pushing you off the fence. Go sell stuff on, I don't know, Facebook marketplace to get the money to join this. These are life-changing events, life-changing events. I thought your chief was like, I don't know, 797, but 297. That's amazing. That's amazing. Good job, Russell and team. Well, thank you.
