Starting point is 00:00:00 You know, thanks for what you do with your podcasts and all the rest. You're doing a great job. I hope everybody keeps tuning in. You get a lot of good info, a lot of insights, understandings of how to get strong, how to stay strong, how to use your strength. You do a great job, dude. You make things better than they are in real life, I think.
Starting point is 00:00:15 If you don't follow Massanomics, you all do it. Social media, website, everything. Massonomics. What's up, everyone? We're back. Season 2, Episode 5, Massanomics podcast, aka episode 505. We're back in the saddle.
Starting point is 00:00:48 I'm here with Tommy. My name's Tanner. We've got a big special call-in episode this week. That's going to be an all-time banger of an episode. We've got more calls than we're ever possibly going to get to. So it's going to be a fun one. Before we jump into that, I want to mention this week's episode is brought to you by our newest sponsor of the podcast, Elite FTS. Check them out over at EliteFTS.com.
Starting point is 00:01:12 They've got sales going on regularly. They have some December sales hitting right now where you can save 10% on their equipment. You can buy two bands, get two free. Save 15% on the SS Yoke bar, our favorite specialty bar that we've ever used, whether it's Massanomics Jim, Tommy's home gym. It's our favorite specialty bar. Best part, you can use discount code mass 10. It saves you of 10% on most things that you purchase at EliteFTS.com.
Starting point is 00:01:42 And this episode is also brought to you by Juggernaut AI. Juggernaut AI is the best place for your... Sorry, I'm a little scrambled over here. I got a lot of stuff going on with everything going on. Juggernaut AI is the smartest program for you. They deliver principal-based coaching through cutting-edge technology to help get you the best results of your life. Here's how it works.
Starting point is 00:02:10 You tell the system about yourself and your goals. And from there, their proprietary algorithm, will work towards building the smartest program for you. Juggernaut AI. It is the smartest program for you. And it's actually the training that I have also been using. I use it just today. As a matter of fact,
Starting point is 00:02:31 I'm in the midst of, I think it's my third strength block in a row. And I've got peeking come up here. I haven't done peeking for a while, but I'm excited to hit that again with Juggernaut. See where, I think Tommy's just at the start of a strength. block too. But that's kind of the cool thing about Juggernaut is the phasic structure of it.
Starting point is 00:02:51 We could talk about Juggernaut. Sometimes we do. We've had full episodes on it. But make sure to use our discount code when you're over at Juggernaut. The discount there is Masonomics. You have to use it when you sign up in the app, not on the website. And when you do that, you'll save 10% for the lifetime of your membership. It makes about 30 bucks a month. Can't afford not to. Tommy, I finished that one. Oh, thank you. Just like riding a bicycle. It was like, I was throwing up an Ollie Oop for you and you just slam it down. Kobe to Shaq, am I right?
Starting point is 00:03:21 Exactly. Okay. Call out episode. Call in episode. We call it a call out episode. Wait, wait. We got two really quick follow-up items here. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:32 Yeah. Two very quick ones. First one, let me pull up my notes here. Very first one. Last week's episode was a top creators, small creators, gift ideas,
Starting point is 00:03:45 people you should be supporting. we left the one and only big Bremy off the list who. Actually, that's my fault, to be fair. That is my 100%. That was on me, and I don't know how I missed him. I've been talking about his stuff in all the home gym tours lately. Oh, major oversight. Yeah, he has multiple callouts coming up in future gym tours here.
Starting point is 00:04:06 So he's got that to look forward to. But yes, we missed it. If you want an amazing product for your home gym, get Bremy's new Roller J cups. They are the real deal. that is obviously the product of his to shout out because those things are freaking sick they're the best i'm a believer in his roller jacobs after seeing him brandon's uh on ons yep the onondonda pit has he rolled with he hasn't signed up for
Starting point is 00:04:31 a certified training facility yet he we got him in name so we'll be watching you courtesy of big curd um yeah So that was the first item. Yeah. The second item, Tanner. How did you, how are you doing from the Black Friday? Are you recovered? Black Friday, let's just say we made our nut.
Starting point is 00:04:58 It was a crazy one. It was the biggest Black Friday we've ever had. Thanks in large part to all of you listening. Our supporting members came out in droves. You know, the early supporting member drop day was, I think, the biggest day of massonomics that we have ever had. It was wild. I worked a lot to pack orders, which is I, you know, it's the best problem in the world to have.
Starting point is 00:05:29 The only thing that limited us on Black Friday, it's our own fault. We didn't have enough inventory. We sold almost everything that we own. You know, the shelves behind me are basically empty now, you know, compared to the sides and stuff. There's nothing left. that, you know, historically, hats can be a little challenging to sell. Did the hat sell out in like nine minutes? It was like just stupid.
Starting point is 00:05:51 The hats sold out in 19 minutes. 19 minutes. Okay. Yeah, 19 minutes. We, I think, are going to do a rerun of that. We have a bunch of stuff ordered as far as, like, uh, resocks and stuff coming in inventory. Like right now, if we want to buy something from us, you, you basically can't buy
Starting point is 00:06:08 something from us right now. We sold out a horse stall mat coasters. We've sold out a horse stall mat grippers. We still have some drink. spotters. Our shirt selection is very low right now. Check it out. There might be something in your size. If there is, get it, because there's not much.
Starting point is 00:06:23 The hats are all gone. We do have magnet packs left available. I do love these magnets. I send out a shitload of these magnets over the last few days. The one day, the final day when I was like, I am getting caught up come hell or high water. I came into here
Starting point is 00:06:41 at like 4 or 5 p.m. This would have been on a Sunday or Monday night. I can't remember. Sunday night. Sunday night. And I did not finish until like 1.30 a.m. And I have never been so in the zone on packing orders. I swear it was like 9.30 and I looked down and it was midnight.
Starting point is 00:07:04 Yeah. So you told me you're like, I just like hours just disappeared. I didn't even realize it. They did. I was, but I couldn't stop because I was so, I had optimized everything. I felt like it was just all so. Is he man or machine? If you would have been watching, you'd be like, what is, what's, what's wrong with that guy? You know, like, what level of, what kind of autism is this?
Starting point is 00:07:27 You know. And I'm not lying, though. And I was listening to sports and books quick segment. I was listening to audiobook, third book of Red Rising series. Oh, wow. I listened to a lot of hours of that book. Oh, you were really locked in if you're doing all that stuff. And, yeah, on my mind, like, I just felt, I was, you know, when you get in the zone on something,
Starting point is 00:07:50 like you do, you probably have it happen when you're working on projects. Oh, all the time. And then you're like, oh, I'm in the freaking zone. Yeah, that's the good part of the world. I was locked in the zone for like eight hours straight that day. That's pretty crazy. That's, yeah. But I mean, there was a lot of hours besides that, but this is awesome.
Starting point is 00:08:04 I'm not complaining. I'm saying it to say that it was a great, freaking, very well supported. It would not be possible without the people listening and the people that support here. and I feel like we, I don't know, we're somewhat on the pulse of what people want to buy from us, you know, what our customers like to buy from us. So very appreciative of everyone that came out and supported because we wouldn't be doing half this stuff that we are if it wasn't for all of you guys. Like we wouldn't be doing most of it, you know. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:32 I mean, that's the truth. Like if you guys weren't supporting us, this wouldn't be going on still. Yeah, I felt very, you know, proud of that or just like, really, really. really, I felt proud and just really happy from everyone supporting. It was a good feeling. Yep, absolutely. Yeah. All right.
Starting point is 00:08:53 Enough lovey-dovey shit. Let's call some people. So for everyone that doesn't remember, calling people is a checkmark on our Hall of Fame checkmark list. So we got so many entries in this. I don't know. We do know historically half the people don't answer. So probably if you don't answer,
Starting point is 00:09:15 We're just moving on. You know, that's just the way that the cookie crumbles in this particular scenario, I suppose. Yeah, let's do it. See if I remember how to do this. We only probably do a couple call outs like this a year at this point. I think I got volume here. This is, first one's going to be a test run. What do you think we should ask everyone this time?
Starting point is 00:09:44 How do you, and how should we, should we, should we, uh, tell everyone, uh, the classic stay safe down there. Stay safe in your direction. And how about, uh, can we get your location and, uh, uh, name location? Where are you calling from? Well, that's what we could ask him. Where are you calling from? Okay. While you didn't, I'm not, I'm going to crack into a cold one here.
Starting point is 00:10:07 I'm just so thirsty. Oh, yeah. What are you drinking? A little water little. I'm just figuring refining my process on this. I think I can copy and paste here. Let's see. Who we call him first?
Starting point is 00:10:30 All right. Yep. This is going to be smoother for the following ones. I can tell already. Hopefully. Okay. Here we go. Let's do a call.
Starting point is 00:10:39 See if we get any action. Start racking up that long distance bill. Oh, it's going to be a big one this one. Hello. Oh, could we get your name and location? Where are you calling from today? Hi. This is Big Jess, says.
Starting point is 00:11:00 Neen calling from near Buffalo, New York. Ah, Big Jess. Have you ever had your voice on the Masonomics podcast before? I have not. I'm a first timer. First timer. Got to say great audio quality. You're setting the standard.
Starting point is 00:11:12 I was going to say, I mean, hearing a woman's voice right off the bat, really threw me for a loop here. I was not anticipating that at all. Take notes, everyone. I am just talking into the phone, holding it to my ear, old school. That's how easy it is. I think Scott's listening along live. Scott, are you taking notes?
Starting point is 00:11:28 Scott Dunds. Big Jess, I don't know if you have a question or not. I just wanted to call you, which has been a while since we've chatted since Tommy and I were at your house. That's so kind of you do. I definitely do have a very big question for you guys. I'm a big reader. You also got to just mention what you started this week.
Starting point is 00:11:49 Oh, well, after a lot of back and forth, I was thinking about it. And I did start a Goodreads crew group. So anyone who's a supporter of Nasanomics, this is a public group. Anyone can get into it. Anyone who's a Goodreads user? Listen, I sometimes have a hard time keeping up with the Discord. But I am up on Goodread. So if you are on Goodreads, you're a fan of Masonomics.
Starting point is 00:12:10 I want to know what you're reading. I want you to see what I'm reading. Let's all get together on that. There's a link somewhere. It's definitely in the Discord. You can find me and I will get you into the group if you're interested. Wow. I was trying to stay off of Goodreads, but this just might be.
Starting point is 00:12:27 the thing to bring me in now. It might be. So my question for you guys is I am all caught up on my library loans. I have nothing really pressing on my TBR. So what book should I be reading next? Oh. Tommy's been on the book kick. Wow.
Starting point is 00:12:45 I love to see it. The book cook, as in I've read like three books in the last little bit here. Have you read the Throne of Glass series? Oh, big fan. Okay. Big fan. My wife would be mad if I didn't recommend that. Okay, my wife would be very mad if I didn't recommend that to you.
Starting point is 00:13:03 That's her all-time favorite by far. It's so good. So good. I know there's a lot of talk about Project Hill Mary. It's also on my list. I'm kind of waiting for someone to convince me that I need to move it to the top. I mean, if you're into sci-fi, like a sci-fi adventure, I think it's a really good. I think it's not really sci-fi.
Starting point is 00:13:21 I mean, it's not sci-fi in like the Star Wars way of sci-fi, but right right i mean if you're into it it's a good fun read i don't know like i could see moving that up there i'm at the point where like i'm not a big sci-fi girl but so many of the crew are raving about it that like i feel like i need to do it or i'm going to miss out on this moment in history i would say this too if you're going to do it do it before the movie comes out and like it oh for sure absolutely that way we can all talk about how we liked it before it was a movie and we're going to just share that moment together well consider me convinced all right uh excellent question, Big Jess.
Starting point is 00:13:58 Thanks for the call, and we'll see you in July, right? Oh, absolutely. You know I wouldn't miss it for the world. And everyone else will see you when your home gym tour comes out. I'm not sure when that is on the schedule. I'm guessing it's within the next month or so. Yeah, probably within the next. Well, everyone else, I'll see you when I see you.
Starting point is 00:14:15 Yeah. Awesome. Stay safe over there. Tell Matt to stay safe to you. I will. Have a good night, guys. Thanks, Jess. I mean, I think that started off with just an access.
Starting point is 00:14:26 I was just going to say great start, great start. That's, you know, a tough act to follow, I think, right? Okay, let's try another one though. Tough as it may be, we got to keep the ball rolling. Hello? Oh, that didn't sound like the right. That was a woman's voice, wasn't it? I'm not sure who you were calling, but.
Starting point is 00:14:57 That was supposed to be Big Andy from Minnesota. That did not sound like Big Andy from Minnesota. Well, I don't know. I just heard a very quick hello. Maybe it was him. Oh, I might have just been, I just panicked, I think. I think you did. I could see how maybe that was him.
Starting point is 00:15:13 Okay, we think it maybe was him. But now do I call him back? And then it's not him. Full time. It's like, stop calling me. Do it, call it, call it. Let's fight out. We got to get to the bottom of this.
Starting point is 00:15:26 I'm dying to know. I got to know who's on the other side of this line. Well, yeah. And Big Alex says it was, yeah, it was him. Oh, okay. I panicked. Hello. A little lower this time.
Starting point is 00:15:46 Big Andy, is that you? Big Tanner. Oh, there he is. Big Andy, where are you calling from today? And what's your best deadlift ever? I'm calling from downtown Rochester, Minnesota, right next to the Mayo Clinic, famous Med City. My best deadlift ever is 5707.
Starting point is 00:16:07 pounds at this year's lift hard lift lift easy classic heck yeah we love to hear that did you have a question for us today i sure do so you you guys you guys have had supporting members for so long and so i wondered have you ever considered having brand ambassadors or brand athletes as massanomics you know like jim shark and roggear and young la all these big all these big athletic brands have their their athletes and their sponsors, would you guys ever do the same thing? Tommy, what's the story? The fun story is, Ben there done that. To actually go back far enough, we actually had the whole thing.
Starting point is 00:16:45 We even had an affiliate program, which is crazy to think about. And the takeaway doesn't do much. I mean, there was some people that were, I mean, promoting our stuff pretty hard and had large audiences. And at the end of the year, we owed them like $40. So it was just like, yep, this isn't worth just this whole marketing channel for it to be as unsuccessful as it is. And granted, I mean, I know companies like Jim Shark and stuff, the people they're getting are huge. So those people have a whole different level of pull. But yeah, we did it.
Starting point is 00:17:21 And it just was not worth the hassle and the return that it gave. Yeah, for us, what we really learned at a certain point is like, you know what we need to put more of our efforts into is this group of people that really like mass. And thenomics, you guys. And when we started to lean into that, we're like, ah, yes, this is where we need to focus our time and energy. And that's kind of why things are like the way they are today. So it's a really good question. And that's kind of why we're here.
Starting point is 00:17:47 Also, Big Andy visited Massonomics gym just a few weeks ago. We got to do some horse stall mat gripping together and stuff. We sure did. We did. We had a great time. So really, really you guys are the brand ambassadors for Massonomics. And I got to spend a day with you, which is very special for me. Really, you guys are the brand.
Starting point is 00:18:03 ambassadors for Macedomics, I would say. Now we're talking. Every crew member, right? Yes, every crew member is an ambassador. Great call. Great question. Andy, we'll see you in two days. Can't wait. Who falls? Hell yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:18 Yes, sir. All right. Stay safe over there. Thanks, guys. See ya. Okay. Stay safe. Just never gets sold out. Certainly not going to for me. Okay. Should we call another one?
Starting point is 00:18:35 I mean, I think we're just going to just keep banging the out, right? Keep firing away. We're going to hit them with our best shot at Benatar. That's right. All right. It gets to be like a surprise for you every time then too, huh? Hello?
Starting point is 00:19:01 Is this big waffle iron? It is. Ah, right. It's a voice I haven't got to hear for a few months. Yeah, where are you calling from? Yeah, too. Where are you calling from today, Waffleiron? And what's your best setting on the Kaiser?
Starting point is 00:19:22 What's the most reps you've done in the homemade cath-raise machine? All of them, number one, until the rope breaks. And we are calling from, what do we say? It was the northwest corner of northeast central. Connecticut. Excellent. You know, I've been there. That's very accurate.
Starting point is 00:19:44 And I've got a special guest with me. Who is it? Do they let anyone into Connecticut these days? Wait, did Scants drive down just for this phone call? He almost did. But I got a real quick question before we get to Steve's. I want to know who the hell. It's Eddie.
Starting point is 00:20:00 And what can do the right? Eddie, you try to hit us with that every time you old son of a gun. Try. It's amazing. Every time we talk, there's another Wolfpack that's right here with me. Yeah. What are you? You just like have an open Airbnb there all the time or what?
Starting point is 00:20:21 It's just a bed and breakfast, actually. So for anyone that doesn't know, we just talked to Big Jess Sesney, her gym tour's coming up. We also hit up big Waffle Iron Gym when we're there. And his is coming up soon on the schedule as well. So we get to see his gym here soon too, which will be a lot of fun, I think. Really good intro. Maybe the best intro we've ever done. I'm so excited for that.
Starting point is 00:20:45 Yeah, that was a lot of fun. So my question, my first question was, did Big Eddie hit a four board PR tonight for bench? Oh, I can only assume yes. Tommy, do you have an answer? Oh, absolutely. I would guess yes. And the answer to that is we don't remember his original record.
Starting point is 00:21:15 I can only imagine you still wrote it on your wall somewhere. So we actually erased an old name from forever ago. So Eddie, but the rules with the record board, if we erase a name for a new name, all of the old records have to stay there until they break it. Of course. And so Eddie Bench is 135 right now. Okay. So what you've never had your voice on the podcast before.
Starting point is 00:21:44 What number checkmark is this for you? 14. So are you one away from the jacket? Is that what we think? Yeah. So I either have to go to Crew Falls, which I'm not going to be able to make this year. Yep. Or the Arnold.
Starting point is 00:22:01 Okay. And so my plan was to go to the Arnold this year. Well, you better keep us posted because we're going to need a jacket ready for you if you're coming. Yeah, so hopefully with everything going on, I'll be able to make it to the Arnold. Did you have one other question for us? I thought you did, too. I did. So the other question was, what was the single coolest thing that you saw at Gunner Peterson's gym?
Starting point is 00:22:26 Tommy, what do you think? That's a impossible question. That actually is a really good question. You would love it there. You'd be in heaven. Yes. Oh, I know. That's why when you guys said that like the Kaiser equipment is just,
Starting point is 00:22:38 chunk change there and I knew that they had like the uh the power netics like uh I forget what it was called but like the grappling machine thing and he's got he's got everything imaginable so I was just like all right here's my coolest thing this is a very odd choice because I'm just picking something because it's insane you can't actually choose coolest thing uh uh Fingles finger used in the late 2000s like 2009 2010 2011 world strongest man competition I thought that that was a fun piece of history when we went out of that actually. That didn't even make the video, I don't think. No, it's like a very odd, odd choice given everything this there, but I thought that that was cool.
Starting point is 00:23:19 For me, God. I mean, the one thing, like crazy to see was that treadmill that would go in like every plane. Like when you were on that thing, Tanner, it was just crazy. I've never seen anything like that. So that was crazy to watch. And then, God, what else? It's so hard to narrow it down because there's just so much crazy stuff in there. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:23:42 That cage, he has this giant cage where you like hit the lights and test reflexes. I mean, he has a Voltra just attached to something. It's like we didn't even discuss it. We didn't even talk about it. It's not even noteworthy at all. Right.
Starting point is 00:23:54 Yeah, it's, the place is just nuts. We'll see that on a gym tour coming soon also. So, uh, yeah, after you watch it, makes sure waffle iron,
Starting point is 00:24:03 uh, you comment with what your favorite was there. Okay. Awesome. Uh, yeah, you and Eddie, make sure Eddie knows too. Both you guys stay safe over there, okay?
Starting point is 00:24:13 Oh, we always do. You know, drink safety is first and foremost in this gym. I don't know what to believe with you two when you two guys get together. All right. See you guys. All right. Take care. Stay safe. Tanner. We also have another guest here. My wife has appeared on screen here, but she's trying to stay anonymous by wearing a hoodie. She's the new Bernie. She is the new Bernie. Okay, great call with Waffle Iron.
Starting point is 00:24:46 First time voice on the podcast. It's a milestone. Yeah. Everyone remembers their first time. Is that right? I think so. That's what they say. Okay.
Starting point is 00:24:59 Next one on tap. I wish I could go get them faster. It's just a little bit of a process, though. Oh, I guess they let anyone on here, huh? That is correct. Could we get your name? where you're calling from and best finish ever at the Lift Hard Live Easy Classic Strongman competition.
Starting point is 00:25:29 Well, this is Ron Nicholas, and I guess it would be a central point of southern northwest corner of Oregon, and best finish is number one on the Lift Hard Live Easy first timers. Brager. Big Ron, first time on the podcast? Yes, sir. Excellent. We're glad to have you. We had a lot of fun with you at the Lift Hard Live Easy.
Starting point is 00:26:02 Can we expect you back in 2026? I know it's a big trip from the West Coast out there, but... Unfortunately not. Got some family stuff going on. That's understandable. Well, I guess we got to do it again in 2027 to get you back. Oh, I'll try my damnedest. Okay.
Starting point is 00:26:17 Did you have a question for us tonight? Yeah, what was the number one... most excitable equipment that you guys tried out that you guys were severely disappointed in. Oh, like the biggest letdown. So something we thought was going to be good and then we tried it and we're like, oh, that stinks.
Starting point is 00:26:36 Yeah. Not as expected. Yeah, exactly. So it's a little trickier for me because I don't try out as many of the things as Tanner does a lot of times. Right. I'm just trying to think of what's been a letdown. um because i've tried because i think you got a great out of curve because it can't be something
Starting point is 00:27:07 loaded i understand yeah yeah hey Tommy will you just do me a favor yeah will you tell burning he's a good boy for me yeah oh i don't know where he's at yeah he's normally right here i don't know where he's at can you let him know later yeah i will i will pass that message at any point that's fine Yeah, I will pass that message. Yeah. I appreciate you. I would really like to come up with an answer.
Starting point is 00:27:34 I'm still just struggling. Anything that I, it's maybe kind of like Gunner told us, though, like nothing's really bad. It's all just different. And I do, you know, that's a great way to look at it. And I do kind of, that resonates with me a little bit because I kind of can see, like, Jugi has ridiculous stuff that I would never want in a million years. But I get why he has it, you know, like.
Starting point is 00:27:57 Yeah. It's a little like riding two horses and ass. You know, I get it. I am doing that. I could kind of still at the end of the day, say that to a certain extent about some of the prime stuff is just, it's so expensive. There you go.
Starting point is 00:28:10 To where, like, I do think it's really good equipment. It's just, it is to me past the point of diminishing returns in that. I agree. That's a really good example. Like, yeah,
Starting point is 00:28:18 if you got the money to spend, like, I don't think you'll be disappointed. But, like, you got to be ready to, like, spend some money because it's just,
Starting point is 00:28:27 really, really expensive stuff. Yep. That's a good call out. I guess I'd ride with that exact same answer. Ditto. Pretty much just what the last guy said. Nothing much else to add for the group. You know, it's too expensive.
Starting point is 00:28:44 I don't know. Thanks, everyone. Big Ron, thanks for the call. Hey, good meeting. Good meeting, everyone. Stay safe out there. Stay safe. All right.
Starting point is 00:28:54 You guys stay safe over there, okay? All right. See, Ron. Thanks, Ron. All right. See you. Tough question. That was a tough one.
Starting point is 00:29:02 That is a good question, though. It really is. Yeah, that is. Because you can't, yeah, it's just the whole thing of I do grade on a curve where cheap stuff gets a bit of a pass because it's cheap stuff, you know. It gets held to a different standard than stuff that you're dropping a lot of money on. Yep. Next caller, please.
Starting point is 00:29:20 You're up. Nobody has. Nobody is not answered. Yeah. People are hyped on the call-in show this this week. Hello. Hello. Could we get your name location and,
Starting point is 00:29:34 are yeah, name and where you're calling from? How about those two things? This is Big Nate's buddy, Tom, and I'm calling from Southwestern, Northeast, Ohio. Excellent. You know, though, he's Tom's buddy, Nate, and you're just Tom now. I've been trying to tell him that,
Starting point is 00:29:53 but he's not accepting it. He's just not ready to let that happen. The script has been flipped. Big Tom. So, Tommy, last time we saw Big Tom, would it have been at Ohio Pico? That is where it would have been. Yeah. And Tom, you were looking jacked at Ohio Pico. Are you still getting big and strong over there or what?
Starting point is 00:30:11 I'll tell you, I started my morning off by somebody calling me Quadzilla. So I'm still riding that high. You could say things are going pretty well. I don't really think it's true, but like I'm going to take it. You've also been making waves at the horse stall, Matt Gripper. You've been getting, keep moving your name up the board, huh? well I work from home so I've left a lot of opportunities to grab it out. Excellent.
Starting point is 00:30:35 Did you have a question for us tonight? Yeah. So I had like a wholesome question and a spicy question. Which did you want? Oh. The one was very greasy related to current events. Oh, we talked. Let's do this wholesome one.
Starting point is 00:30:53 That's the one I wrote down, I think, a note on. And I kind of like that one, actually. is probably good. It's a good thought experiment for us. So if someone had a big but new reason to make a family trip to South Dakota, what would be your Mount Rushmore of things to do while you're there? And is it for a family or for the individual? So this would be, I mean, the individual would be doing the big but new thing,
Starting point is 00:31:18 but the whole family would be coming. Yeah. A couple of toddlers. And are we thinking for the entire state or mostly specifically to Western Northeast, South Dakota? I think most of the state because I think Mount Rushmore is on the opportunity for Mount Rushmore. Like it's open for that. Okay. So for doing four things, Mount Rushmore is absolutely on the Mount Rushmore.
Starting point is 00:31:41 It's crazy. I hear they do podcasts there. You might catch a live one. Only one ever actually hilarious thing. Just to comment this evening before we started, we had a comment on that YouTube video. And it was, oh, I didn't realize you guys were a lifting podcast. Yeah, so cool, glad this worked out. I looked at the name Eric with a K.
Starting point is 00:32:01 Like the last time I came across to Eric with a K, it was the park ranger for at Mount Rushmore. And he watched the episode. Oh, he did. That's cool. Yeah, so that was kind of a fun, full circle moment that he found it on YouTube. And he's like, oh, cool. Nice.
Starting point is 00:32:17 Yeah, that is. So, yes, Mount Rushmore, that's one of our four. You're coming to Western, Northeast, South Dakota. You're bringing kids absolutely storebook land. Storybookland is awesome. Okay. It is awesome. Your toddlers will love storybook land.
Starting point is 00:32:29 We joke a lot about Aberdeen and western northeast South Dakota. Storybook land is legit. Yeah. Okay. The wife's got that on the list. You can kill a lot of time at Storybookland. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:41 Kids like that a lot. Otherwise, other things, yeah, I mean, Big Monty, native of West River over there. I mean, that's where the scenic stuff is, is out West River. He's saying the badlands. Badlands are super cool. Let's put that on there. The badlands are awesome. I can see how kids might not like that as much because it's just like,
Starting point is 00:32:59 I mean, it's different. It's not like a single thing of just wow. But let's do the bad ones. I think number four, we got to go to Crew Falls. And it would be, I think the Sioux Falls are actually really cool.
Starting point is 00:33:11 I mean, yeah, but that's, yeah, depending on how you're doing it though. Like if you're already in Aberdeen, it might be like, but it depends on if you're going back,
Starting point is 00:33:18 then yeah, I mean, there's definitely like go to Sioux Falls, go see the falls and I don't know, walk around downtown or do something like that. I think my wife has a friend or like a co-worker near, as Brookings make any sense to you? Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:32 So I think it's splitting the difference maybe. And so I think like we might be headed that way anyway. Oh, well, yeah. And at Brookings, you got the Brookings Children's Museum. Which is really good too. Yeah. All types of good kids stuff. Real wholesome.
Starting point is 00:33:46 I feel good about that Mount Rushmore, right, Tommy? Yeah. Big Tom, excellent call. So are you planning on signing up then? Is that the game plan? Yeah, I think so. Otherwise, the log I purchased and the mammoth for extensions that I bought are going to go unnecessary. Excellent.
Starting point is 00:34:08 So I guess we'll get to see you here in July. We'll see you in my backyard. Yeah, sounds great. You guys stay safe up there. Yep, you stay safe. Stay safe over there. Thanks, Tom. All right.
Starting point is 00:34:20 He's big Tom's keeping our eastern. of the Midwest safe over there, isn't he? Okay. Another call? We'll do one more call here before we maybe shake it up a little bit. Oh, could we get your name and where you're calling from tonight? This is Kurt, and I am calling from the northern end of southeastern Pennsylvania. Big Kurt, you old son of a gun.
Starting point is 00:34:59 You got to get your buns on a plane soon and get to South Dakota. I can't wait I'm not sure we're going to let him in after what he pulled the last time Yeah you you caused a ruckus last time Kurt, so I don't know you got to We'll see if they'll let you back in It's going to be pretty wild walking into a room and actually knowing people And not being a completely stranger
Starting point is 00:35:19 I don't know if I'm going to know how to handle that I still laugh thinking about it like Tanner and I'm like Do you know who that is? Tanner's like I don't know who that is And now I'm like oh I've known Kurt forever like Yeah same with Gary. It was crew falls was the first time I had met Gary. That's right.
Starting point is 00:35:34 God. We were out eating on the first night. I'm like, who is that, Tommy? And at first I just thought it was a guy in the bar at the tape, like just chatting. And then they're like, no, this is Gary. And I'm like, oh, awesome. And I feel like it's been a year. I feel like I've known you guys forever now.
Starting point is 00:35:50 Yeah. Tommy, on Saturday night, you said one thing that cracked me up. You were like, we were 95% sure that you weren't a serial killer. but we were willing to roll with it and just no story. Everything turns out, okay. Pretty open door policy here at Massonomics. And at my house apparently, too. I'm looking forward to Friday.
Starting point is 00:36:12 Yes. So did you have a question for us tonight? So I submitted my question before I figured out everything that we were talking about on the pre-show tonight. So I feel kind of weird asking this. But my question is, if you guys were able to invite anyone, you know, be it a crew member, non-crew member, famous person, non-famous person.
Starting point is 00:36:34 If you were able to invite anyone to the Lift Hard Live Easy 4, who would it be? Ooh. I've got an answer in my mind. Okay. Let's hear what you got, Tanner. This is a cop-out answer,
Starting point is 00:36:46 but it's honest to God how I feel about it is I don't really care about anyone famous coming to the Lift Hard Leave Easy Classic. What I want is more crew members to come as many as possible to show up. and that is what makes it fun. Like, I know that that's kind of a boring, boring answer,
Starting point is 00:37:06 and it's like, but that, that's my honest to take on that is I would just want the next crew member that hasn't been, you know, the next Massonomic supporting member that hasn't got to be here before to come and be able to get on it for the first time, or the fourth time, for that matter. That next man up mentality.
Starting point is 00:37:23 That and like Brian Shaw or something. Ronnie Coleman, you know, Armist. I mean, yeah, like, yeah, you can say, yeah, Brian Shaw, Ronnie Coleman, Arnold, like, yeah. Like, and those would be really cool, but I do agree with Tanner where we've even talked about how we've had the opportunity for some bigger names to come. And we're like, yeah, actually, no that. Ray Mitchell's been here for it, which is cool. Huck Finn was here last year. It's cool.
Starting point is 00:37:47 It's just, it's, yeah. But we've even said some other people like, yeah, you could potentially come. We're like, ah, you just get kind of lost in the chaos of the weekend because there's. Right. Like we, and then we don't, we're not going to give you any special treatment. Like it's like, nope, you're just here hanging out with one of the guys. And it's like, no, we'd rather just have more people. Which is actually cool for those people.
Starting point is 00:38:04 Oh, it is. Yes. They're just hanging out with everyone else. It was funny. Just in the gym the other day, Big Tom from the gym, he had mentioned, he's like, yeah, you know, the other year when Trey Mitchell was here in your backyard, I didn't realize who that is, but I kind of fall along now and he's a really, really good. Yes, he is.
Starting point is 00:38:24 He's like, I didn't realize that when I was just standing next to him in your yard. Yeah. So, yeah, that's what I think. I agree. So Rodic Bowman was going to be my pick, too. And I've been wearing the Yeah, Buddy T-shirt around as frequently as I can. And it gets so much admiration and attention from people. And they always ask me where I got it.
Starting point is 00:38:48 But I've still yet to be able to bring somebody into the crew. That's my number one goal right now, is being able to bring in. my first crew member. Yep. I like Jake's answer in the Discord. He said Dan Bell or Jess Bittner, because they both are crew also. Love that idea for that reason. You know, anything like that, that's a great answer too.
Starting point is 00:39:08 All right. Kurt, can you do us one other favor? Absolutely. Can you just stay safe over there until we see you later this week? Absolutely. As long as you guys promise to take care. We'll do. Hey, buddy.
Starting point is 00:39:22 See ya. Take care. I promise I will take care. This week's episode, we do have some supporting our supporting members. I want to shout a few of those out. Supporting our supporting our supporting members, it's a relatively new segment to Season 2 of the podcast. It's only our fifth time doing it on season 2.
Starting point is 00:39:45 So it's relatively new. It's where we shout out our supporting members, people that choose to support us. We'd love to have you support us if you can. We've talked about it a number of ways, a number of times here. the number one way that you can help us out, help this show is by becoming a supporting member
Starting point is 00:39:59 at massanomics.com slash join. It is what keeps that light in the corner of Tommy's office on. All of these lights. You wouldn't be able to see the computer if it wasn't for, the backlight of that computer monitor. We would be screwed without it. So thank you for supporting.
Starting point is 00:40:19 Please consider if you'd like the podcast or if you just even purely tolerate it, giving us your support. Big Wes and Big Hunter competed together in a powerlifting meet this last weekend. It looks like they both got first place. Big Keith
Starting point is 00:40:36 hosted a big lift party in the no wine cellar. YouTube gym tour, no wine cellar dropping tomorrow. As we're recording, it drops tomorrow. So by the time this comes out, it's there. And I've only seen like the first little bit of a time. Okay.
Starting point is 00:40:52 I wasn't sure if you got very far into it. It's a good tour. I've watched like the first three minutes and then you know a thousand other things came up of course but it the beginning of it looks awesome I don't know my goal is to watch I might even watch it tonight yet I'm excited to check it out because it's been long enough now that it's I know that's that's the beauty of doing these things is it does it just feels like I'm watching them for the first time when I go back and edit them it's been a while correct I just want a little marinerickle ladies to spice it up Okay. Big Keith, no wine seller, YouTube.
Starting point is 00:41:29 Make sure you're checking it out. Jim tour's coming like every single week. Keith's lift party. There was Keith, Stephanie, Chris, Lisa, Dan, Matt, Derek, and Brandon. Big Jordan competed in the Stronglight Caveman Open. He got first place, including a log press of 330 solid-ass pounds for a PR. Big Garrett passed his NPL state powerlifting judge exam. And Abby and Jake were this week's guest.
Starting point is 00:41:55 on unpaid and underrated, talking preview for the 2026, Lift Hard, Live Easy, Classic Strongman event where they talk new weight classes, five brand new events, Strong Man on its completely own day this year on Friday. Go check it out to get the rundown. If you're any at all interested
Starting point is 00:42:12 in being one of the 50 people that's going to get to sign up for this, go give that a listen. Should we do a certified trade facility of the week? Yeah, we should. I'm trying to decide where we should go. Have we been down south lately? I feel like we haven't.
Starting point is 00:42:32 I was kind of having that same feeling. So if you're thinking that and I'm thinking that. It can't be a coinkie-dink. No. God, a lot of them on here. Not a lot with photos, though. This is probably the most that Leah's had to listen to the podcast in a long time, and it's just half a bit.
Starting point is 00:42:54 It's just a very one-sided conversation. It's just like, so this is what you guys do every week? With no context, that doesn't make any sense. Yeah. What about, I just clicked on something that has at least a couple pictures. I got something very interesting here, though. Let's do it then. Okay.
Starting point is 00:43:12 You got it. So we're in a little place called Florida. And if you go, it'd be south and west of Gainesville. There's a little place called Usher Strength and Strength. Oh, my God, my map got it just all. screwed up. I'm like in the ocean and can't get out of it. Do you not know where Florida is?
Starting point is 00:43:31 Is that the problem? Googling where's Florida? I'm going there in a couple weeks actually. Say again last. Or southwest of Gainesville. Gainesville. You're saying that like I would know where Gainesville is. Where is it compared to Fort Myers or Tampa?
Starting point is 00:43:47 North of that. Just go up the coast. Okay. Go up the coast as north as you can. Are we under? Oh, this one is good. Yeah, I remember putting this one in. This one's very interesting.
Starting point is 00:44:00 You're saying usher strength and strength. Yeah, usher strength and strength. I've never seen these pictures. Yeah, okay, great choice. I wasn't sure at first I was looking at it because it's so unique here. Yeah, great. Good one. That's great.
Starting point is 00:44:14 All right. So diving right into this thing. My first question is, is this a commercial gym or a home gym? And I'm fairly certain it's a home gym. I think it's a home gym. We've got five pictures to look at here. And is it a garage gym? It's kind of just like an open air gym that happened.
Starting point is 00:44:30 It's like someone built a shop but didn't put walls up because it has a roof. Yeah. But there's no walls. It's like a pole barn with no walls. Yeah. Yeah. Yep, exactly.
Starting point is 00:44:38 And so we got a cement floor. And right away, there's some really interesting stuff in here. You got the, what do we call those, Tanner? The toaster, the toaster.
Starting point is 00:44:48 Well, I usually call them the wrong thing. That's why you have me second guessing. Uh, the to say there's a lot of bumper plates. A lot of bumper plates on the floor. Is that an M.B. Power Center deadlift platform? I think that's the M.B. Power Center PR deadlift platform. Don't see a lot of those. Looks like a red Syracote, maybe Texas deadlift bar in there, too.
Starting point is 00:45:07 Yep. But what's really interesting, though, is you can just see this wide open just land. You got to look at the pictures. You got to go to our certified training facility map. Like, we're not going to talk this into justice of what this training facility looks like here. And then you also have, I think there's like it looks like a, a rogue maybe is it the z hyper there it looks like a pretty beefy reverse hyper yeah and then there's a lot of equipment there is there's a trap bar there's weight trees there's a rack yeah a lap pulled-down machine if we go to picture two though you can get a more close-up photo of this rack situation and it's a really cool rack they've built so it's a four post yeah no it's a six post
Starting point is 00:45:50 but i think it's a six post but then they built this whole system off to the side yeah Actually, no. Because if you look at the next photo, it's like two racks combined with like a six foot pulse between. It's got like a rack off the side then, a half rack on the side. Yeah. And like in the middle there's maybe like rings or something in that,
Starting point is 00:46:11 you know, and various things hanging from there. It's a very unique setup. You don't see that very often at all. It's got the Titan SSB bar in there, you know, a rep pad. There might be some weird camber bar there hanging from above.
Starting point is 00:46:24 Yeah, No, it's just a camber bar, I think, is what I'm seeing. Yeah, some kettlebells. Oh, there is the drop in Rhino. Okay, he has the drop in rhino in the back of the rack. I didn't notice that at first. Yeah, so the rhinos there. Yeah, and then you can see he's got the GHD.
Starting point is 00:46:39 He has two. I think there's, in picture four, you can see he has two GHD GHR machines as well as the reverse hyper. Yeah, okay, yeah, the Titan reverse hyper. Yeah, then two. Or, oh, that's the Titan. Yeah, I wonder why there's two of them, though. It's a good question. Because the one is like the one you have with the Abrams.
Starting point is 00:46:58 Is that what it is? Yeah. Yep. And there's another one there too. And then the last picture. Strongman equipment. Yeah. He's got a hoose.
Starting point is 00:47:06 The hoose. The hoose is loose. The hoos is right there. There's a log. There's a yoke. Farmers carry handle. Yeah. Farmer's hairy.
Starting point is 00:47:14 A bunch of sandbags. A keg. Yeah. All the essentials. Airhole's real. But you got, what really makes you got to see this place, though, is Yeah.
Starting point is 00:47:24 This just looks like it's built out in like the Florida. I don't know. There's trees, like the woods kind of. Like there's trees in the background, but it's just an enormous open area. This has Massonomics full home gym tour video all over it. If we could ever get there, honestly. Like this is,
Starting point is 00:47:40 this needs a massanomics gym tour in person. Yes, it does. It's an impressive place. Yeah. Okay. This week's, oh wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Hold the phone. What are you trying to end this already, Tommy?
Starting point is 00:47:52 I just forgot. is one last most important thing. Do you think you could get strong there? Oh, hell yeah. Yeah, we're getting strong as shit in usher, strength, and strength. I don't think that's a typo. No, because Instagram handle also,
Starting point is 00:48:08 usher strength and strength. Intentional redundancies, so nobody forgets that strength is involved. This week's episode, speaking of strength. I'm going to start giving people the boot here while you're going to rub this tone. I'm sick of those losers.
Starting point is 00:48:23 Texas power bars. sponsor of Massonomics podcast for years. They've had a lot of exciting changes going on on Texas power bars. A lot of new products coming out like the rotating sleeve, you know, thick diameter, two inch fat axle power bar, which is really more than just an axle. It really is a power bar that's the diameter of an axle is what I would call that. Excited to really get my hands on one of those at some point.
Starting point is 00:48:48 I know, I know. It's that fat bar we've all been looking for. Yeah, and then they've got black, Black Friday's over, but they still have December deals going on where you can get up to $50 off on a lot of their bars off their normal price. So still a great time to buy if you want to get something prior to Christmas. And when you're over there, let them know your good buddies at Massonomics sent you their way. And be on the lookout for what they got coming else news soon.
Starting point is 00:49:13 I think there's more on tap from Texas Power bars. And this episode is also brought to you by Build Fast Formula. Let me pull my notes here. Build Fast Formula. Thank you, BuildfastFarmulat. Tommy, your thoughts on another call? Do it? Let's do it. This is Brandon. We got your name. Could we also get your location and your best ever horse stall, Matt gripper lift?
Starting point is 00:50:44 Oh, okay. My location is going to be like central, northern central Kentucky, the bluegrass state on the Ohio River. And my best stalemate lift, it's got to be number two in the world behind Ryan Shaw. I mean, uh, sounds like a joke, but that's a real thing. It's a real thing. So I can say that. Yes. Yeah, that is a real thing that you have actually done. So, uh, congrats. When are you going to beat him? Uh, I'm hoping in Tommy's garage here in like two days. Yeah. Hell yeah. Yeah. I mean, he, he hit that, he hit that PR just cold in his basement. Imagine what just a crowd of people firing him up can do. Oh, you'll do 300 pounds. Yeah, with the chalk bucocchi all over.
Starting point is 00:51:35 Yeah. Yeah, we get to hang out in Crew Falls really soon. Is this your first time voice on the podcast? First time voice on the podcast. First time won't be the last. Did you have a question for us? And is it wool related? It's not wool related.
Starting point is 00:51:51 And I'm sorry, I missed the mark on this one. Guys, listen, though, how crazy? How crazy would it be is if we were out downtown and someone asked if I had wool in my hair in Sioux Falls? Oh, man. We'll see. I paid a lot of homeless guys down. Well, there's a few of them down there, so that could happen. All right.
Starting point is 00:52:13 So my question is, so having the best and most home gym tours videos on YouTube now, what is the timeline before Masonomics is the premier home gym equipment review channel? First things first, I would say we are the premier home gym tour channel. I just, I think that that's kind of a fact. I think people are starting to recognize that, even if they're not tight in the Masonomics community, that's becoming apparent. Tommy, agree? Oh, 100%.
Starting point is 00:52:40 Yeah, that's, that's a fact. Real, really, though, a truthful answer is I don't think the, the gym review, we're not going to be the premier gym review channel. Probably, right? Because we've, I mean, we've had opportunities. Like now we are at a point where there's a lot of vendors, our manufacturers, that we can reach out to and ask for stuff. they will send product, but, um, like companies like macolo and GMWD and a lot of these, like,
Starting point is 00:53:08 have offered anything we want from them. They would send it for us if we do a review. But it's just not our exact goal at this point. You know, it's not, it's going to be a piece of the puzzle. Yeah. I think we'll be a gym equipment review. You know, we'll be in the conversation of people that do that. I don't think it's our primary focus.
Starting point is 00:53:30 No. And I think. there's nothing, like we're not saying this to knock that. There's nothing wrong with those. And there's a lot of guys that do an amazing job at that. And I think if we put it in the effort, we could do a, I mean, I think we do pretty good for the little bit that we do of that. But I think really what people love about Massonomics and what I love about
Starting point is 00:53:48 massonomics is getting to know and hang out and see all of these people all over. And it's that community aspect. And I think we're the best at it. Like I don't know who does the community aspect better than us. And to me, if we can just keep. shining the spotlight on people and showing all these cool things people are doing all over the country, I'd take that any day. Absolutely.
Starting point is 00:54:10 I like it. Brandon, also one of the owners of the MSS and MX license plates with that widow Watter. With a little ladder. That's right. I'm the only one in Kentucky with that. So that's pretty cool. That's true. Hey, I preach into the choir, man.
Starting point is 00:54:30 preaching to the choir. All right. We'll see in a couple days. All right. Sounds good. Y'all be careful. Yep. Stay safe in the meantime.
Starting point is 00:54:39 See, Bradded. All right, we'll do. Very good. Oh, that took us to Kentucky. I've got to go somewhere different. Let's go somewhere different now. He's been there yet tonight. Hey, is this the old sons of guns?
Starting point is 00:55:01 The old sons of guns in the flesh. Can we get your name, location, and favorite ever, feet of grip strength. Oh my. Well, this is Big Kurt calling from southwest northeastern Colorado. Second Kurt of the night. It's called different. Yeah, second Kurt. The first one with a
Starting point is 00:55:19 C. Favorite feet of grip strength would probably be a world record on the horse stall Matt Gripper. Haven't gotten there yet, but that's got to be the best. Fair enough. We like that. Big Kurt, we're also going to see you in a couple days, am I right?
Starting point is 00:55:36 You are, yeah. Fly out. in the morning. We'll see you. Oh, you fly out tomorrow morning. Yeah, it was originally Thursday night, but Frontier moved the flight to the morning. So I'm going to be, uh, exploring the city. This guy's got to get, this guy's got places to go. We better move this flight up. Too important. Oh, this crew falls weekend. We got to get them there sooner. Big Kurt was at the lift hard of easy this, this summer as well. Kurt, did you? He also competed in the cottage cheese eating contest. Yes. I did, yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:08 Yeah. Did you have a question for us tonight, Kurt? I do. So I think we can all agree that we used to be a proper country. We used to be a proper country. Exactly. We've been saying it for years. But what I'm dying to know is if anything has popped up in the last year or two,
Starting point is 00:56:25 whether it's the home gym equipment space or just like online fitness type space that's popped up that you actually do like. that we actually do like yeah um are you so like are you saying like a piece of equipment or like just a trend in general like is that what you're getting at you have your druthers on this one okay druthers something that's popped up in the last year i'm just trying to think of something and it could be the last two or three years if you want yeah i'm trying to think it's something that's been more new and novel lately well i think the Voltra's something that's been more new and novel lately
Starting point is 00:57:07 Well, I think the vulture is interesting. We talk about the vulture a lot. It's interesting. I mean, it is. I don't have a use for it. It does really make me say we used to be a proper country, though, and I see one of those around, though. Very does.
Starting point is 00:57:16 Yeah, so it's kind of the opposite of answering the question, actually. Recent trend. I just, okay, here's in the home gym sphere, something I like or more recent trend is just more companies getting involved in marketing, catering directly to home gym consumers. and really elevating the level of equipment, even the more companies that we consider to be more budget, just like stepping up their game a lot,
Starting point is 00:57:46 in some circumstances at least. So I think just like, I don't like the Rising Tides raises all ships, but I guess that's what's happening. Wait, wait. No, that's a fair one. I mean, even Titan puts out some good stuff. Right.
Starting point is 00:57:59 Yeah, okay, remind me, this question, though, is this what we, did you say what we like? Is that what this question is? Yeah, one thing, recent trend that we kind of more are on board with. I would say kind of on those, crap that, oh, yes,
Starting point is 00:58:12 yeah, okay. I would say kind of along those same lines of what Tanner was saying, though. There has been a much more noticeable trend in the last few years of company. Yep. My partner. My co-host has gone back here. I would say there has been this trend of companies realizing that they can partner with
Starting point is 00:58:30 smaller creators to bring their product to the masses or to maybe improve on it, add in some mass production. And you know, you've seen that with everything from like the repins to, even now with this like dialed motion thing coming out. So like there has been some really cool partnerships that I feel like are happening way more, which is a cool thing to see. Yeah, great answers. You passed.
Starting point is 00:58:52 Excellent. We passed. It was a past failed course and we passed. Kurt, we'll see you very soon. And just stay in the meantime, they'll stay safe just for tonight at least. Yeah, I'll do my best. and you as well. All right.
Starting point is 00:59:06 Thanks, Kurt. Next on the list. And just so everyone knows, I'm just kind of going down the list. Unfortunately, I briefed everyone before. We're not going to get to Mallville.
Starting point is 00:59:19 We're going to, we're banging them out, aren't we? We are banging. Oh. Going through. Your call has been forward. Oh, is that the first one we've missed? Yeah, that one didn't.
Starting point is 00:59:37 That one didn't go through. So we're going to go on to the next one. You're shooting 100% up until there. We're going so good there for a lot. while I, you know, almost didn't know what to do. Let's move down. I don't think we've got time this episode to do recallbacks either, do we? I don't know. You got the call list. I don't know how many are on there.
Starting point is 01:00:03 Oh, we just got to keep going. We haven't even scratched the surface. Oh, it's been forwarded to an autumn. Another one. Two in a row. That is sometimes the way it goes, though. It's after 10 o'clock. Everyone's going to bed. Yep. Big Katie, you missed it. First one, I'm not sure I didn't have an actual name on who that won that missed that.
Starting point is 01:00:22 We'll just go next on the list, especially these East Coast people. It's probably getting late for them too, you know. Hello. Hello, could we get your name and location? Where are you calling from? This is one of the big mats, also Big J.B. From Endwell, New York. All right, East Coast guy, up late, up after that.
Starting point is 01:00:54 Yes. Good. We've never met in person, have we? No, we have not. We haven't crossed paths yet. You might be the first person we've called the night that we haven't crossed paths with you. We were just in New York like a month ago. We must have just missed you. I know, a few hours away from Keith. Okay, it's a big state, so I wondered how close you were to Keith.
Starting point is 01:01:19 The biggest of all states, but yeah, just a few hours away. So have you ever been to the no wine cellar? I haven't. He came down. I had his Mars bar. He came down to my gym. I haven't, I've not yet ventured to his.
Starting point is 01:01:32 Wasn't that like the day before we were at Keith's house? It was shortly before, yes. Yeah. Okay. So Big J.B. In the Discord and stuff then, right? Yes.
Starting point is 01:01:43 Big J.B. All right. Big J. Good. Glad obviously your first time with voice on the podcast. So there's a checkmark for you. Yeah, absolutely.
Starting point is 01:01:51 Did you have a question for us? My question was, was if you could eliminate one headache, have it for free, like no, no worries for you, one headache from any of the business taken away from you. What would it be? That's a great question. That is a good question, man. I'd love to have that. I would love this to be a real scenario. I would really sit down and pencil out what the best choice here is. I could think really hard on this. See, it's tricky because, Some of it, it is like, yes, every month coming up with what are the drops.
Starting point is 01:02:29 If someone was just like, nope, every January, here's your 12-month list of what you need to be successful. Right. That would be amazing. But that's also kind of the fun of all of it too, you know, is like figuring out like, what would be good. Could we do this? Is this possible? So that's why I get torn saying that as an answer. I guess, okay, I'd say this.
Starting point is 01:02:49 Maybe on a more tedious one because it's not as like creative. if someone was just like, hey Tommy, just magically the podcast is edited for you every week and maybe even the videos. I'd be like, hey, you know what? I could live with that. Like if that was just magically done, like that, that'd be cool. Like I can go do more creative stuff than that. That's maybe where I'd go with right away. Yeah, that's good.
Starting point is 01:03:14 I would agree that it's got to be something less creative. I'm not going to say packing orders. That's one of my tasks that I do obviously. but I don't mind that a lot of times, you know, like sometimes I might come off as complaining and stuff, but I like to, I love to write the cards to everyone. It's kind of how you keep tabs on who's coming to the shop too, though. Right, right. So I wouldn't give that away.
Starting point is 01:03:37 I don't know. Like probably it's just stupid, boring things like paying the sales tax to the remitting the sales tax to the state and stuff. You know, doing in, you know, filing income taxes at the end of the year and like that stuff. Like, oh, is our LLC? Do we have to renew something this year? Is the annual report need to be renewed with the state? Yeah, that. I get annoyed with that stuff.
Starting point is 01:04:03 It wouldn't be the daily budget stuff because I also, that's kind of my daily task that I do too, where I'm, you know, recording, uh, receivables and payables and all that. And I somewhat enjoy that also. It's kind of my nature that I enjoy that. It would be that, that weird, boring, uh, bookwork stuff. that I don't like. That's what my answer is going to be. Great question, though. Yeah, absolutely. That makes sense. The back end of the creative stuff. Like, I sold my business forever ago because I'm like, I would rather just contract with somebody else and let them handle
Starting point is 01:04:33 the insurance and all that stuff. So that totally makes sense. Do the cool stuff. Yeah, absolutely. Yeah. All right. Great question. Big J.B. Hopefully we get to cross paths at some point. Yeah. Hopefully soon. Thank you so much. All right. Stay safe. Stay safe. Stay safe over there. It's a big state. Yeah, we'll do. Thanks. My dad got masses.
Starting point is 01:04:57 You say it 10 times. You think you'd be great the 11th, but it just gets trickier. It doesn't get harder. Or it doesn't get easier. It gets harder. That's what she said. Next call. Next man up. East Coast guy right here. Be kicking himself in the morning. Giving up on that one. moving to the next oh could we get your name and where you're calling from please
Starting point is 01:05:54 this is big Patrick calling from from Wadena Minnesota Tommy where's that out is that kind of by the cities we're about 45 minutes from Alexandria otherwise we're about two and a half hours from the cities I have a bit of an Alexandria guy I went to Alec Tech lived in the area for a while
Starting point is 01:06:16 No kidding, small world. Big Patrick, Minnesota guy. Big Patrick Minnesota guy. Have we ever crossed paths anywhere before? We have not yet. I was planning on hopefully attending the lift, hard, live easy here this next year. Now that life will settle down finally. So that's the goal anyways, hopefully at least attend it, maybe compete.
Starting point is 01:06:40 I don't know yet. Were you just unpaid and underrated a few weeks ago? Yeah, yep. Yeah, two weeks ago, I think. Good episode, Big Patrick. I listened to it. Great episode. Yeah, you got to freaking get over here.
Starting point is 01:06:52 You're too close. No excuses for you. I know. That's what they were telling me. You got to get over here. You'll never not come again for as close as you are. You'll be here. We won't be able to kick you out once you come once.
Starting point is 01:07:07 Yeah. Love to make it for Crew Falls, but we're still finishing up some house stuff. We just built the house this summer, so we're still fighting out stuff yet, but I was going to try to make it out for that, but that's out the window now, so. All right, that's it. We'll see you in July then. Did you have a question for us?
Starting point is 01:07:26 I did. I had a silly goose and a serious goose one, so silly goose was, which do you prefer, or which is better, I guess, which is subjective, but Pizza Ranch Pizza or Casey's Pizza? Casey's Pizza. I love me Pizza Ranch, but the pizza is not their prime menu. item in my opinion. I think I'd probably agree. For me, especially, be the novelty
Starting point is 01:07:51 of Casey's pizza. It feels like lately my kids love going to Pizza Ranch, so I just eat way more of it than I used to it. I'm like, ah, the pizzas, whatever. And Casey's has a really good breakfast pizza, too. I will, you know, they got that. So I probably what we say. It is top tier. Yep, top tier for sure.
Starting point is 01:08:07 Pizza Ranch has the cactus bread, of course. Oh, and they got that cottage cheese buffet, you know. Well, right. That's true. Yes. Okay. And then you had one other question for us then, it sounds like. Yes. Serious goose question was if you guys had to choose, basically you'd have to kill off one of them
Starting point is 01:08:25 or if one of them was to fail and one was to say succeeded, the podcast or the apparel company, which one would it be and why. Oh, man. Tommy, what do you think? Wow. Well, I'd kill off the apparel. See, that's what I would say. But also it's like the apparel is where the majority of the.
Starting point is 01:08:45 revenue comes from. And so it's like, well, you cut off the revenue stream. It makes it tougher to be a thing. Would it be like cutting off your nose to spite your face? Exactly. I mean, yes, it would be just like that. But if you ask me like really at the end of the day, what do I enjoy doing more? Yes, it is this whole podcasting thing rather than like sitting alone at the computer taking care of apparel stuff and fulfilling order, you know, that all the stuff that goes with that. Like the podcasting part is way more rewarding for sure. Yeah. Did we pass? Yes, you pass.
Starting point is 01:09:21 We can air this episode, I hope. Yes, we can air this episode. Big Patrick gets up. One more pro tip on pizza, Pizza Ranch specifically. The guy's looking for a good protein bulk meal, Buffalo chicken pizza, top it with cottage cheese. They'll never look back.
Starting point is 01:09:37 I could jive with that. Actually, that sounds good to me. I could be all of, I will actually try that. Give it a whirl. Great pro tip. We call that a fat hack. Awesome. All right, Big Patrick.
Starting point is 01:09:53 Thanks for the call. And hopefully we'll see you soon. Stay safe over there. It's not that far away, but stay safe nonetheless. You guys stay safe and stay warm. Excellent. Thanks, Patrick. That was good.
Starting point is 01:10:10 I like catching these people we've never heard from before. That's what some of these I just, I literally never even met. That's, you know. that used to be more what the call, you know, over the years, we've met so many people. We just know, like, well, these are just like old friends. And it's kind of fun to get a combination here, actually.
Starting point is 01:10:49 Your call has been forwarded to voicemail. The person. Oh, should we leave my voicemail? Call back. Let's leave a voicemail. Like, hey, Jagass. No one's tried to call me back yet. You know, that's what starts happening eventually as people start trying to call back after a while, too.
Starting point is 01:11:06 You know. Yeah. Kind of gets to the start. certain witching hour, doesn't it? It just gets to be too late for everyone. 50%. Yeah. This next one's going to be a good,
Starting point is 01:11:39 we're going to get this next guy. Okay. Real good, real good vibes on it. Is he in Hawaii? Is that why he's like six hours behind us? West Coast, yeah. Hello? Could we get your name and where you're calling from this evening?
Starting point is 01:11:56 It's Matt Sanchez and Spokane, Washington, Idaho adjacent. Yeah, Spokane, Washington. I kind of was remembering from your episode. on unpaid and underrated that you're a bit of a West Coast guy, so I thought we might catch you here. Awesome. Big Matt, did you have a question for us tonight? Yeah, I did, but I think I need a set of scene a little bit for you guys. Please do.
Starting point is 01:12:19 Let's say you get into the Ford Freestyle, and it's got a flux capacitor going now, and you look down in the date says November 9th, 1975, when you get in, do you go and find Captain McSorily and try to stop him from sailing that night? Yeah, the captain of the next night. The Fitzgerald, the day before, yeah, the day before they left from Superior, Superior, Wisconsin out on their final fateful voyage into Lake Superior.
Starting point is 01:12:51 The Big Lake swallowed them whole, as we know. Yeah, the big lake they call it Gichigoomi. Gitchiegumee, that's right. Or do you tell them to take a different route? You know. Right. Right. Or just,
Starting point is 01:13:03 yeah. It's the butterfly effect, though, right? I know. That's the problem with all. Yeah, because if you don't, if you don't, then Gordon Lightfoot doesn't have that hit song. And why would you take that away from him?
Starting point is 01:13:16 Also this. Okay. How about this? We know the statistics on the number of crashes and fatalities. I mean, I can't recite the big numbers on shipwrecks and fatalities. fatalities in the Great Lakes prior to that date, prior to November 10th, 1970.
Starting point is 01:13:37 It's like one a week for like 50 years. Since then, virtually none whatsoever. Basically. Just, yeah. So does that, did that particular wreck play a role in reducing those for whatever reason? You know, and like if you stop them, is it more of a problem still today? Is it, is that the trolley problem in a way then? Like, is that kind of the trolley problem?
Starting point is 01:14:02 It kind of sort of issues. Sacrifice. Yeah, yeah. You sacrifice these 20. Yeah. Yeah. I think it's the trolley problem. You know, you could speak that way.
Starting point is 01:14:13 I, it's an ethics question. Yeah, I, um, I would not change anything. I would not save them. I would go, uh, salute them as a, that's what I think I would do. I don't think. Also, could you stop them? It's just a random Joe running up.
Starting point is 01:14:29 I mean, this is a movie plot at a, certain point, what would you have to do to actually stop as just a random person that's wearing funny clothes, future clothes? Could you stop McSorley? I'd probably just go invest a bunch. Apple wasn't around yet, right? So I'd go invest in my family. I'd find something in my family's name and go invest, bringing as much money as I could from the future and spend my day doing that. Tommy, what do you think? I think you're right. I think you got a historical event like this.
Starting point is 01:15:03 You got to let it play out and let it be. And who knows. For the greater good. Who knows what crazy historical timeline would have happened if maybe those guys got off the ship. And who knows? What would a stoicists do? A stoic.
Starting point is 01:15:22 I think you got to let it ride. It's outside of your look as a control. Yeah. Yeah, we're talking. Okay. All right. I think that's great. Great.
Starting point is 01:15:34 That's a really good question. It's actually, you could think of it realistic. You know, you can think of real scenarios there. Very, very interesting thought experiment. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:15:43 Matt, when are we going to see you? When are we going to get across your path? I'm going to register for the strong man lift our live easy. I'm going to make my way there. Heck yeah. And then if work allow me, I'm going to try to get to next December to remember.
Starting point is 01:16:00 So we, December to remember. All right. All right. Stay safe over there in the lavender fields. I will. All right. See you guys.
Starting point is 01:16:11 Would you stop it? You know, that's the whole plot of the 112263 TV show. Did you watch that one or not? I did watch that quite a while ago. Because that has to do with World War II with Hitler or something. No, it was James Franco. He goes back in time.
Starting point is 01:16:27 And his whole thing is he's trying to stop the JFK assassination. Oh, the JFK assassination. No, I actually have seen a. I know I sound like I'm dumb like I'm not, but I have. Well, it was a while ago when it came out. It's been, yeah, we talked about it on the podcast probably at some point. It was because, yeah, we both watched it. And yeah, he just has to keep going back over and over and over again because he can never quite stop it from happening.
Starting point is 01:16:47 And it's like every time he thinks he solved it, a new thing happens. And yeah, it was a good show. It was. It was, yes. All right. Next man up. Hello. Howdy, could we get your name and where you're calling from this evening?
Starting point is 01:17:16 sure this is big brian no relation calling from south central north texas i love it no relation thank you big brian and i'm like ah this could be a lot of guys and you say no relation i'm like oh i know who we're talking about now so you're your handle for for those of us in the supporting members in the discord are you big brion big brian no relation that's your handle yes yes that's me uh important clarification whenever for anyone that's brian right you're like yeah i'm not that, Brian. Right, one of the good ones. Okay, excellent.
Starting point is 01:17:50 You said Texas? Yes, Texas. Excellent. Did you have a question for us? Yes, I did. So I think we all know by this point that Coke Zero is a fridge cigarette. But what would be the most extreme end of that scale? What is fridge crack?
Starting point is 01:18:09 Fridge crack. I like fridge cigarette is a Coke Zero. We know that. I can't get them out of my hands. I'm always guzzling Coke zero's over here. I think a lot of guys would say like white monster. It would say white monster is fridge crack for it. Yeah, is it the white monster?
Starting point is 01:18:24 Like, that's the first thing that comes in my mind. I mean, You know what? It's got to be. It hits you with that energy. Yeah. And it's got that kind of, it's got that status to it, you know.
Starting point is 01:18:35 I think white monster would be the most popular answer for that, right? It's got to be. That makes sense. I'm going to say four loco. just to be a contrarian. I don't know if an alcoholic beverage isn't loud in the scenario. Original formula.
Starting point is 01:18:52 Yeah, four local original formula. All right, I like that question, Brian. Knocked it out of the park. That's good. Appreciate your answering it, guys. First time voice on the podcast, I assume, right? Absolutely, first time. All right, mark that check mark.
Starting point is 01:19:10 We'll do, fellas. Thanks. Stay safe down there. you as well thanks right that's good what is fridge crack here we go
Starting point is 01:19:23 queue it up hello howdy could we get your name and where you're calling from this evening well my name is good Kyle calling from southwest
Starting point is 01:19:49 Indiana southwest Indiana are you coming you're coming to crew falls this weekend? Yes, I will be here. I'll be there. I thought so. We love to see that. Where did we see you last at? Home JimCon? Home JimCon. Home JimCon, 2025. Tommy didn't get to see it, I guess. I wasn't there. I got to see Tommy at 2024. That's right. I was going to say you were there at 2024. Also, I remember we were talking to you
Starting point is 01:20:20 back by the Strongman area in 2024. Am I right? That is correct. And we went out at, Where did we eat at this year in 2025? Where did we all go eat at that night? Oh, man. What was that place called? We basically shut them down because they couldn't make milkshakes anymore. Yeah, they were making us, we were sitting on the printer. Big Joey was sitting on the printer paper and stuff.
Starting point is 01:20:42 I think we had to get, yeah. Yeah. Okay. So first time on the podcast, check it off the list. You're coming to crew falls. You get to check that off the list. You're slaying things. Off the west.
Starting point is 01:20:56 That's the point. Yeah. Knocking them out. Yeah. What, uh, did you have a question for us here tonight? I did. Yes. Yes.
Starting point is 01:21:04 So given that you guys are the number one home gym tour podcast. Just a fact. Um, right. I, you've, you've encountered quite a few meals along the way, um, and food. And I was wondering what might be the best food. that you've had on these home gym tours because you've been out west,
Starting point is 01:21:29 you've been east, you've been towards the south and in the Midwest, what was like the best thing you've had to eat? Okay, well, there's two possible ways you can split this question. You could say it the best,
Starting point is 01:21:45 because people have been really giving us home cooked meals a lot lately. Yep. And then we also go, you know, we're on the road a lot, so we're eating out a lot too. but home-cooked meals.
Starting point is 01:21:57 I mean, who could forget Carp's famous homemade chili? Not me. That's on the list. Put it on the list. Who could forget that? Big Emily, which made us maybe the best breakfast burrito I've ever had in my life. Put it on the list.
Starting point is 01:22:12 Not even lying. The thing was freaking amazing. I was in a restaurant. I'd be buying 10 of those a day. That was incredible. Andrew Garrison's wife, world famous meatloaf. lives in infamy.
Starting point is 01:22:25 I mean, the home-cooked meals, it's really tough to pass those up. They're just so good every time we get them. But then other things, restaurants,
Starting point is 01:22:37 I don't, the tricky thing about restaurants, Tanner, and you know this is the restaurants we're going to are typically like a fast food type place because we're always in such a hurry. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:22:47 But we ate at a, I don't remember the name of it. We ate at a really good Mexican place with Chad. That was very, Very good one. Grant had us go to, was it El Pollo Loco? Yep, I liked that one. That was some good ass chicken there.
Starting point is 01:23:00 That was really good. And, oh, Donnie got us some pretty good barbecue sandwiches before we left his place. Remember those? That was good. Yeah, I forgot about those. Some real Carolina, South Carolina barbecue sandwiches with the mustard barbecue sauce. What about also Brian Coppulman got us those? Oh, he got us the New York egg sandwich.
Starting point is 01:23:23 Yeah. Yeah. That was really good, too. Man, I'm just reminiscing about, I'm forgetting about all these actually pretty good food we had along the way. Pepperoni rolls at the no wine cellar. Yes, yes. I was very hungry when we got those.
Starting point is 01:23:36 So those were clutch. I ate a lot of those while we were there. Oh, boy. Man, we're kind of just running through the greatest hits. I don't know if I could pick one of those. They were all just, like in the moment, they're all the best thing ever. Yep. I think we named it some pretty good ones there, though, didn't we?
Starting point is 01:23:54 Yeah, I think so. Oh, yeah. Okay. Passed? We passed, I hope. Oh, you passed by far. Passed, excellent. Well, we'll see you in two days.
Starting point is 01:24:05 That sounds right. We'll see you in a fortnight. Stay safe over down there in the meantime. Sounds good. Thanks. All right, see you. Bye. Another call, Tommy?
Starting point is 01:24:21 Yeah, might as well. What's another one at this point? It's calling. Oh. Get the dust. There we go. Could we get your name and where you're calling from and where you think the Lift Hard Live Easy Classic occurs at each year?
Starting point is 01:24:55 This is Hunter Holbrook calling in from the Berger, Blitzburg, Kentucky. My understanding, it is in the dean. You're correct. Could you explain why we might ask you where that's located to that. I'm sorry, you cut out there for a second.
Starting point is 01:25:22 Oh, actually, well, let me, hit me with your question. I think your question leads into this. Did you have a question for us tonight? Yeah, where is the Ram Coda? Yeah, so it's a question everyone's dying to know. Where the hell is this thing? There's been a bit of confusion over the last several months of is the Ram Cota and the Lift Harder of the V's
Starting point is 01:25:45 Classic. Is it in Bismarck, North Dakota, or is it in Aberdeen, South Dakota? And it is, in fact, in Aberdeen. There is a Ram Cota in Bismarck, as Hunter knows. I learned that in the hard way. Yeah. And there is, it's this confusing because as unique as the Ram Coda name might sound, yeah, the Ram Coda is like an, it's like an ownership group for some Best Westerns. So yeah, if you just type in Ram Coda, it could pop up any number of cities in the Dakota area that all have hotels under the RAMCoda name. Yeah, we don't have those over here.
Starting point is 01:26:24 Yeah, that's that's all right. We'll show you about it this summer. Heck yeah, I'm going to try my best to make it up there. All right, awesome. Great question. In the meantime, do us a favor, stay safe down there. Sounds great. Yeah, I'll try my best. All right, see you later. Thanks.
Starting point is 01:26:44 Thanks for the call, guys. That's good. Yep. Let's spool another one up there. Hello, hello. Oh, howdy? Could we get your name and where you're calling from this evening? Yeah, this is a big narrow Pablo from
Starting point is 01:27:10 southeastern Washington and the Pacific Northwest. Oh, I've got a lot of North West. Yeah, a lot of PNW people tonight. Nothing wrong with that, is there, Pablo? Absolutely not. Can't get enough of them if you ask me. Well, let's not go that far. All right.
Starting point is 01:27:31 Did you have a question for us tonight? I did. I'm going to solve the heavy thought real quick before I get into question. The heavy thought used to be we don't own anything. It's just our turn with it. So with Masonomics, if you guys ever decide to end your turn of Massanomics, are you going to get rid of it or maybe pass it on to the next generation? Oh, yeah. Would we terminate it or just have a turn? Oh, wow. Believe it or not, I haven't given that much thought, actually. It's just, there's probably not much massonomics without us, if, to be fair. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, for the right number, anything's possible, right? But, yeah, I just have such a hard time believing that it ever just really, really ever completely goes away.
Starting point is 01:28:26 yeah I agree with that so I mean I can't imagine even ending ever I can't imagine a world that mass nomadic but you know I that makes sense we made it to episode 500 I mean we're on season two I don't see the stopping anytime soon Pablo there's like five seasons right in the contract yeah that was the yeah that was our we're still on our first contract yeah we signed on for an initial five seasons to see how those go before we decide to do more or not Yes.
Starting point is 01:28:56 All right, good question. I think we answered it, right? You can check this off on the Hall of Fame checklist, right? Definitely. Awesome. Thanks for the call. Stay safe over there in the PNW. We'll do.
Starting point is 01:29:08 Take care. Got time for another call? Yeah. I wasn't planning on going anywhere. Oh, me? Go to bed. You reached out of there. Oh, I get out of their voicemails.
Starting point is 01:29:23 I don't like those to play on the podcast. Okay. but the person you Yep Getting late Yeah how long we got Let's try another one I think we got time to try another one
Starting point is 01:30:10 Don't we still? Yeah Nobody's going to kick us off We know You always end on a make anyways Too That's preferred Never end on a miss
Starting point is 01:30:22 That's what I've always said Unless you have to end on a miss Then you can end Yeah Don't these people know It's a podcast night You stay up late I got one in the bank that I know that's going to answer.
Starting point is 01:30:52 So we'll do, we will save that one. Before we get to there, I want to mention barefoot shoes. You check them out at barefoot. Store. It has gotten seasonably cold, blustery here, at least in western, northeast, south Dakota. What's it like down there in Crewe Falls?
Starting point is 01:31:07 I think with wind chills, like negative two today. Yeah, it's cold. So I have been wearing my Bruin boots. I switched to Bruin boots season. It's my barefoot shoe of choice at this time. I wear it to work every day now. It's snowy, icy, slushy, cold, you name it, and the Bruin Boot. It's built for that sort of thing.
Starting point is 01:31:28 You can check them out. Their product line just keeps growing all the time. If I look more closely, there's probably things on the site that weren't there when I looked a week ago. That's how fast their product line is growing, whether it's styles, colors, et cetera, barefoot. Dot store, anything you purchase, whether it's a boot, one of their shoes that we use to train in, one of the shoes are more like an everyday use sort of thing. Any of them, you can save 10% with discount code, Massonomics.
Starting point is 01:31:54 Thank you, barefoot. This episode is also brought to you by the Strength Co. The Strength Co. Proudly manufactures Olympic-made, or American-made Olympic iron plates. The plates are designed to look good in your gym and last a lifetime. They are smooth yet easy to grip. And damn, do they?
Starting point is 01:32:17 look good. They're the go-to plates of Massonomics Gym. They're the go-to plates of my home gym. And they could be the go-to plates of your home gym if you head on over to the strength.co and pick yourself up a set today. Plates ship pretty damn cheap and maybe even the cheapest shipping of any plates on the market today. I can't say that for a fact, but I'm telling you that's some of the cheapest shipping on any plates out there. And while you're there, they also got barbells. They got equipment for your gym. They got a whole lot of stuff. But start at the plates, make your way through the rest of the catalog, hit by, and have yourself a good time.
Starting point is 01:32:55 Thank you. Stranko. Want to see something pretty cool, Tommy? Oh, hell yeah. You know, we had our crew mailer for everyone that's a supporting mailer a little bit ago. It was our trading card pack or trading for a series. I don't know, I know. Well, and you know that crew falls is this weekend, right?
Starting point is 01:33:11 I'm coming down there. coming. I'm coming and hell's coming with me. Not only that, but the Crew Falls. The inaugural. The Crew Falls 2025 limited edition trading cards coming with me too. We got one for everyone that's going to be in attendance.
Starting point is 01:33:29 Of a blistery Sioux Falls winter scene, which actually is pretty much how it looks right now. Yeah. Yeah. Downtown Sioux Falls in the wintertime. So just another one to add to the collection and everyone that shows up gets one. I actually think also I might bring a couple spares of some other cool cards
Starting point is 01:33:46 and maybe there'll be additional awards for the weekend, you know. Yeah, good call. Or maybe just like we see someone doing something cool and they get a card for it. That could happen. Everyone's going to get one of these, though. Like how you're thinking there. Yeah. So be on the lookout.
Starting point is 01:34:04 I mean, actually, most people don't get to be on the lookout for this one. But you never know when we're going to be there. Right. You never know when we're going to have another card. in the collection for any particular special occasion, just like this one. Okay, I got one. He told me he's going to answer even if it's late.
Starting point is 01:34:21 He actually briefed me. Do we do this one and, and is that it? Do you want to wrap up on this one? I think that's fair. Yeah. I mean, there's like, there's literally 40 other ones we could do, but I think it's getting, it gets late enough and people just don't, can't answer.
Starting point is 01:34:34 You just hear the phone ring all night. Yeah, I think we got to cut it. Let's do this one. He assured me. Your call has been forwarded to voice. now. The person you're trying to reach is not available. Right. Makes me wonder, like, if you're getting blocked, maybe. Right. Try to get it one more time to see what happens.
Starting point is 01:34:50 Try it one more time. You're right. Hello there. Well, howdy, could we get your name, location where you're calling us from, and the softness of your water? Well, this is Big Kevin, and I'm actually calling you guys now from the hospital. Oh. Well, is everything going okay? I'm okay.
Starting point is 01:35:30 My boy just had a little, he's got the flu right now, so we're just kind of taking it easy with him. All right. Well, I hope that everything's all right. Yeah. Yep, he's doing better. He's just taking a nap right now. Could you tell him to stay safe from us?
Starting point is 01:35:45 Yeah, we'll stay safe down here for this. All right, good. Good, we hope you are, of course. Big Kevin, obviously, Hall of Fame member. Kevin's claim to fame, one of its claims of fame, in addition to the gym tour, we've done with them and other things,
Starting point is 01:36:01 but you came up with one of the most popular fan submitted, you know, crew submitted questions ever in the Massonomics universe, probably the most impactful, right? Yeah, I've seen quite a few, more, much more content created from that than almost anything else.
Starting point is 01:36:20 Yeah. So, tough act to follow yourself on, but what's your question for us tonight? So it goes right along with that. If you had to gauge the silliness of one crew member from their favorite Masonomics shirt, what would it be? What shirt would it be to be the ultimate silliest move? Like if they pick this shirt. If you said pick any one shirt to wear and wow us from the collection, what shirt is it?
Starting point is 01:36:50 I have a front runner in my mind. If I'm meeting you for the first time as a mass notics crew member and the shirt you show up in is the daddy's home t-shirt. Okay. That's a statement. Not only is it a deep cut, it's a pretty silly shirt. That's true. Yeah, that's a good answer.
Starting point is 01:37:12 I think I've got my answer too. I'm going to go a different route. I'm going to say if I show up and meet you and you're wearing this shirt, it tells me something. And I'm going to say the how to get strong, how to stay strong, how to use your strings. I figured you'd be saying that, yeah.
Starting point is 01:37:27 That's got to be. I think it's a good one too. I mean, all go no show is the second coming of that shirt, but I got to go with their, you know, all go no show is a similar answer to that, but I have to go the original.
Starting point is 01:37:38 They're, you know, I'll tell you what, what's crazy. We've mentioned this before, but, you know, we never really print a shirt in anything less than a hundred of them.
Starting point is 01:37:46 So like that, how to get strong shirt, there's a hundred. of them out there somewhere. When do you see someone wear that shirt? That is the funniest part is there is a hundred of them out in the wild. Here's one for you.
Starting point is 01:37:59 The Power Hungry shirt. Do you even remember hardly what that? Yeah. Yeah. The Power Hungry with the guy with the spiky shoulders. Yes, the spiky shoulder has got like a steak and all this food from them. A hundred of those exist somewhere. Maybe 90 if there've been a little bit of... Along those same lines, the Pinup Girl one,
Starting point is 01:38:15 I've like never seen that. I still think that's a really good shirt, but it's gone. That is a good one too. It's weird those ones that I almost forget to exist and I cannot picture someone wearing it. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:38:31 Well, they're probably filling the racks at Goodwill, I suppose. Always keeping that on Goodwill. Yeah. Are you up to date on the t-shirt data? No, the shirt chart, I kind of
Starting point is 01:38:47 fell behind on, but I am keeping up with the with the shorts vent diagram. It's a very important one. That's probably a complex one anyways. Yeah, okay. Well, that's good at least. Did you have a differing answer from ours at all on that? I maybe thought you had something in mind.
Starting point is 01:39:03 Nope, I was going with what you said with the all go, no show. And then I thought the strong and silly also because it says silly right on it. True. Maybe that's too bad. I think it's too obvious. And that one was just kind of a cool design.
Starting point is 01:39:16 So it's not even that silly. Right, right. I do like that is a good design. Yeah, it's almost... The silly hawk design. Some of the thought is maybe like, what are the biggest busts of all time? If you wear the shirt around,
Starting point is 01:39:27 that's the biggest bust of all time, that's a pretty silly move. Didn't you guys just touch on that? In an episode or two ago, where you said, like, maybe you should do a re-release of your... Our worst hit. Of your biggest, yeah.
Starting point is 01:39:40 Our worst hits tour. Here we go. Yeah. Yeah. That's a good idea. Okay. All right. Great question, Big Kevin.
Starting point is 01:39:48 will we see you in the bus this year? Yes, I'll be in the bus, and I will be in the dean this summer. Okay, awesome. Two for two in 2026. It's going to be a big year for us. Yep, it's going to be a big one. It should be getting closer to the next level of the Hall of Fame. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:40:10 You've obviously been on this multiple times, but what are you at? Are you at like 14 or where are you? I forget which number I'm at exactly, but I know that, I'm working my way through the back catalog right now. And I'll hit my four years in a couple months. Oh. And I think that might be it to get to 15. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:40:32 Oh, yeah. I just placed my 10th order. Okay. Yeah. Which because you always purchase in person when we see it normally. Yeah. Yeah, I'm a big in-person guy. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:40:43 Yeah, you've got to be a back catalog finisher. Like it's like because you started early enough that like there shouldn't be that much of a back catalog of battle. Yeah, I started I started in the 200s and yeah, I kept up to present and then just the last couple months I started on the journey. And so what's your approach? I only got like 50 more. Are you starting at one and working up or you go backwards? Yeah. I started at one and worked my way forward.
Starting point is 01:41:07 I don't know how anybody it goes any other way. Yeah. Yeah. I feel the same way. Like that's how you'd have to do it. Yeah. All right. Great.
Starting point is 01:41:15 Big Kevin, thanks for the call. Get everyone healthy. Yep, we're working on it. All right. You guys stay safe up there too. You do. All right. See you.
Starting point is 01:41:26 That concludes our call-in portion of this call-in episode. We apologize if you were on the list and did not make it, but it just we got in somewhere, right? Only so many hours in a day. There's always the next one. I think we knocked off a lot of people that got that checkmark of having their voice on the podcast that have never had it before. We're really going to have to think what is the end of. be the title topic of this episode.
Starting point is 01:41:49 Somebody's question is probably going to be the title topic of this episode. There was at least one good one in there, I think. Yeah, I think title topic, which state is the Ramcota in? People will love that. Perfect for SEO YouTube. Got a lot of broad appeal to that. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:42:12 Where the hell is the Ramcota? Title topic. Would we go back in time to stop the sinking of? Actually, yeah, that. The SS Edmund Fitzgerald. Title topic. No one in South Dakota can find this hidden hotel. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:42:31 Would you go back in time to stop the record? The record of the Edmund Fitzgerald. Yeah. Okay. This week's episode, very busy week for Massanomics. We have tons of stuff going on. the crew falls has happened in this weekend massonomics youtube is popping off quite honestly like massonomics youtube we're it's striking hot right by 10% in the last month yeah yeah it has

Yeah, AI probably has us pretty well pegged outside of like, oh, they need like a whole data center for these guys. Are
Starting point is 01:43:29 just keep, just hosting to keep all our videos alone is like ruining a not insignificant portion of the environment. Yes. It's massonomics effect. Merchandise wise will still
