Starting point is 00:00:00 Master of Memory 340 Welcome to Master of Memory. I'm Timothy and I'm here to answer your accelerated learning questions every day and to inspire and empower you to learn anything you want to learn faster than ever. Sadat sent me a question in an email. Sadat says, I recently subscribed to your site and I'm so glad that I did. My query is regarding using the memory palace technique to master the topics of various technical certifications. I'm talking about
Starting point is 00:00:31 certifications like Comsha Network+, A+, Cloud+, and so on. I'm also interested in getting other more difficult technical certifications like CCNA, CCNP, and so on. Typically these courses have well-defined topics as part of the certification syllabus, so I think I can use the memory palace technique easily to memorize the topics. There are guidebooks available for these certifications, and they typically follow the exam topics religiously. I feel that I can use one of the guidebooks and then use the memory palace technique to memorize all the topics and subtopics given in the book. Please let me know how I can use the memory palace technique for certification exams. So, Sadat, the first thing that I would say to do is just pick one and focus on that first.
Starting point is 00:01:18 Pick a certification exam that you'd like to learn first and focus on that. It's best to focus on things one at a time. So just pick one and apply the rest and focus on that. It's best to focus on things one at a time. So just pick one and apply the rest of this to that. The best thing that you can do second is to take that exam and email me an outline of all the topics in the exam. So email that to me so I can give you really specific advice for that specific exam that you're working on. Third, together, you and I are going to plan an outline for a memory palace that you can use to organize and store all of the information.
Starting point is 00:01:51 So we'll take those topics, we'll see how big each one is and how much room we need for each one in your memory palace, and then we'll plan the outline based on that. Fourth, we'll start encoding the information so that you can memorize it quickly. We'll turn numbers into memorable images. We'll turn topics into funny stories and so on so that all the information just falls into place.
Starting point is 00:02:13 In the end, you'll essentially have the guidebook in your head and it'll be very vivid. You can find anything that you want. You'll know not just all the general topics very well, but all the important information within each topic. But the thing is, you just have to reach out to me and make it happen, and we'll collaborate on that. So those are the steps that I would follow. Just, you know, pick an exam, sort the things out like a memory palace, and then encode the information in those palaces. Anybody can follow that. But if you want to have some guidance from me, just go ahead and send me an email, timothyatmasterofmemory.com, or you can just go to masterofmemory.com and the sign-up is right there.
Starting point is 00:02:50 You'll get access to me, and we'll collaborate on it. For anyone who's listening, what do you want to learn? The world's knowledge can be yours. Email me or send me your learning request at masterofmemory.com slash question, and I'll talk to you all again soon.
