I go down in the basement, you already drew like a big pentagram.
He's like, get in your boxers.
Because he had to like rub my like body down with this chicken.
So now you're standing in the middle of a pentagram.
In my box.
Yeah.
Been rubbed down by chicken.
I mean this in the most respectful way.
Yeah.
You believe this.
When my son was really little, he had an umbilical hernia.
So I put my hand over his stomach and I was praying for it to go away.
And I was like, I take it.
this away from you, you know, like just praying and concentrating. And then within two weeks,
his hernia thing, his umbilical hernia went away and I got one. So I was telling my masseuse this.
And she goes, oh, you did Reiki. And I'm like, I've never heard the term before. So,
Reiki, what is that? I don't get it. You know, what is that? She's energy healing. She goes,
my stepfather does it. And he's like a master. He's like a Reiki master. So I'm like,
Oh, I'd like to, you know, talk with him and everything.
So I go meet him.
His name's John.
Lives about an hour away.
The guy was just very psychic.
Like, very, like, worked not only for the U.S. government doing remote viewing when they can't find their agents and stuff like that,
but also would be employed by the Vatican to do exorcisms when their priest would fail.
When I went to his house, he had had one of the crystal skulls there.
And, you know, so I put my hand over where it was and you could feel it vibrate, you know, there and stuff.
And then he would be telling me like certain things like about the government, like that I'm like, John, like, I don't want to go missing, man.
I know you'll find me later with your remote viewing, but I don't know that you should tell me like these certain things, you know, and stuff like just like really wild stuff.
and which I know you're going to ask me if I can
I was going to tell.
I was thinking,
do you want to tell us one of those things?
I mean,
there was like a story about like the,
the spear of destiny,
how Hitler had it.
And then,
but then it was stolen from.
I said,
yeah,
but Hitler lost.
And he goes,
yeah,
because it was stolen.
And,
and,
I said,
well,
who has it now?
And he goes,
the Britain.
He goes,
Britain has it.
The British government has it.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Do what the spear of destiny is?
So Jesus didn't die on the cross,
right from being crucified.
He was stabbed by a Roman soldier and the spear supposedly any army or anybody that has it or whatever.
Very impressive.
I didn't know you would know that.
There was a time I went there and I had my contact lenses in.
And he's showing me some stuff on the computer.
And I'm standing there and I would see this.
It looked like a cloud like hovering in his living room.
And I thought there was like something on my contact lenses, you know, and I would look, and I didn't say nothing to him.
And then I just started focusing on what he was showing me again.
And then I would look and the cloud would be gone from the living room and it would be over by the front door.
And it would just be like, kind of like doing this, like hovering like that.
And then it would be near the stairs and stuff.
So it kept moving around.
And I said, John, you know, and at this.
point I had already like moved my contact like out of my eye to see if it was something on
the contact lens and it just kept moving around and I said John what is like I'm seeing this
cloud like this staticy white cloud going from room to room in your house and he goes yeah I have
this place pretty blessed up he's like no negative energy can can get in here so I'm like
okay so I'm not seeing things okay you know and um doesn't sound crazy at all it you'd have to see
like I don't know if everybody could see it or if like I was just able to I don't know but then
he had told me like when I did the healing thing you know with my son he's like oh you can you know
heal like with your your hands too like and he goes can you do with your left or you're right I'm
like I don't know and then he did something and he's like oh you could actually use both
both hands. Like I'm ambidextrous that way. And I did actually for a little while go and help like some friends that were like in the
hospital and stuff. My one best one of my best friends, Mel, who has since, you know, passed away. His,
his girlfriend was in the hospital and she had something like internal bleeding or something going on down near her,
her woman parts. Right. Okay. And he's like, let Rick come in, you know, let him come. Let him come
in and help you out. And she's like, didn't believe it. Right. And at this point, it was,
it was hard for me to even still hold on to the belief of it because it was just so, like you said,
that you know, it's like unbelievable. You know, like how do you, you know, and, you know, so I
would teeter back and forth with like, this is even real? Like, what the hell is going on, you know?
And so I went in there and I just put my hand over her stomach. It wasn't touching it.
And she goes, are you touching, touching me? And she looked down and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and,
And she saw that I wasn't and she goes, it feels like a bowling ball is sitting on my stomach right now and tingling.
You know, and then she, like the next day, she left the hospital, you know, but I never went like advertising it or doing anything because it is like a weird thing.
Right.
You know what I mean?
And people are like, oh, this guy used to beat people up.
Right.
You know what I mean?
Now he's out healing people.
You know, I'm like, I don't know.
Like, I didn't expect that.
You know, I was only bringing up the story of like, you know, you know, I was only bringing up the story of like, you know,
you know, healing my son and then, you know, come to find out.
And then there was a time my stepdad on Thanksgiving fell.
And he couldn't, like, my mom was trying to tell him.
He's like, I think I got to go to the hospital.
It was right before we were supposed to go for Thanksgiving dinner at my aunt's house.
And he had, he couldn't even breathe.
So my mom's like, well, well, let, you know, calls me Ricky.
Like I'm still 10 years old.
Why don't you let Ricky, you know, do that thing?
Because I did it on her hands for her arthritis,
and she could move her hands better for, like, months.
And she goes, let him do it.
Yeah, all right.
Like, yeah, I don't think he believed it either, you know.
And he laid down, I put my hands over it,
and he's like, oh, I definitely feel something, you know,
feel something going on, you know?
So I'm like, I don't know how long to do it.
Like, I don't know how long I got to stay here or whatever.
And about 15 minutes later, like, we were at the dinner,
and he's like, I don't know what you did.
And he was like, I don't, like, it doesn't hurt anymore.
you know and when I went and saw John John's like oh he had cracked ribs you sealed on
okay so like all right you know so so then he would tell me stories and one of the stories
he had was the government got at him they came across this big seat like a big I don't know
if it was like concrete or something like a big chair okay like made obviously for some entity or
something that was like 15 20 feet tall I don't I don't know he just said it was huge okay
and they knew the government knew
that it had something to do
with time travel
but they didn't know how to
effectively like
operate it because
people that they were sitting in this thing
were like
it was it was fucking them up
it was fucking them up like they were
nose bleed
you know you know the the hemorrhage
and you know making them
demented or something like it was it was like
frying their brain pretty much
and he I guess
being
like this psychic dude knew that he would be able to handle it, the energy of it, like the radiation from it or something.
And he told me, he goes, yeah, there's only two ways to, like, it requires an enormous amount of power to make it work.
And I go, like, how much?
And he goes, like, think of a football stadium filled with car batteries.
He goes, or there's one other way.
And I go, what's the other way?
And he goes, human sacrifice.
And I'm like, okay, so I'm assuming you guys did the car battery thing.
You know, and so he said when he was a kid, there was something, he already knew what he, he was going to go in the chair in what period of time he was going to go back to check on.
So he said when he was a kid like 10 years old, he went to the bank.
His parents opened him, opened a bank account.
And some old man at the bank was like, oh, this is your first account.
here's a dollar piece
you know put that in your account
so when he went up
he put the dollar piece
on the counter
and when he went to give it to the lady
it was gone
and he goes I never knew
who took it
you know it just disappeared
and I've always wanted it to know why
but he goes I could never figure out
who like who took it
you know
even though he's like psychic he just
didn't know like that.
And he, so he goes in the chair and it put him there.
Like, you know, so he sits in this chair and it, you know, puts him there.
And then he's like in that room, in the bank, in a chair in like an overtone or like an astral
form or something.
Right.
And he gets, he gets out and he's watching himself.
He sees himself dialogue with the old man.
and everything and he gets the coin and he follows near himself and he said he was very very
nervous to be right beside himself because he didn't know if like they were just going to
merge into one or blow up the universe or you know what I mean right you know like two things
of the same touching he said he was very nervous because he didn't want to bump into himself
you didn't know what it would it could what it could yield um so he went
And when he put the coin on, he put his astral hand, like the one of him that went back in time, put his hand over it so nothing could grab it.
And then he had to somehow go back to the chair.
Like, I don't know if it like sucked them back or whatever.
And when he came back through, he had the damn coin in his hand.
So he essentially stole the freaking coin from himself.
Right.
At 10 years old.
And the coin being metal and everything, to this day, like, you know, I mean, I haven't.
seen him in like a few years, but he went and got it and this thing vibrates.
You know, like, he's like, do you want to see the coin?
It still vibrates.
And I'm like, yeah, you know, so he's done some weird.
He just keeps it somewhere.
He just keeps it somewhere.
He even found like some weird, um, uh, he was out visiting friends somewhere.
And he, uh, encountered a bad, he felt a real bad energy, like a real something, something's up
this neighborhood. And he went out for a walk to kind of see, you know, what it was. And when he was
out walking, he encountered like, this is what he said. And I'm like, geez, your stories are nuts.
So like a real vampire, you know, they also picked up on the bad energy. And what it was was,
it was an abandoned church that people were doing like black masses out of and like some evil shit.
So he went, he went in and broke into it. And he found like some really old.
book in there with like spells and everything and stuff like that so we took that and he has that
it's like so bad he said it's it's in his house but he almost had to like do a certain
protective blessing thing over the book but he read some of it to learn more things not like bad
but learn how to you know study the enemy or whatever and you know that's like blessed up to a degree
so that like the bad energy doesn't radiate from there.
And around that time,
yeah, he's just got wild stuff, you know.
So soon after him, like I had bad energy coming at me.
And like I said, I was seeing these shadow things and stuff like that.
And there was an issue with the girl that I was dating in her father,
her father, Latin.
Okay, so her father was into like some dark stuff.
And he's like, you need to just Santa Rio.
Yeah, yeah.
Actually, I guess, guessed it.
So he, he was like, you need to just kind of like not deal with him and stuff.
And I'm like, I'm with his daughter.
But he was like creating issues with her and I.
And we were starting, like, breaking up.
And she was getting ready to move.
And I somehow, she had some medical issue.
And I said, well, why don't you get?
have John fix this.
Okay, like fix like something.
I think her rib or something was
messed up and I was like, just
come to John because I wanted John to like
get rid of whatever negativity.
She like her dad was putting on her as well.
Okay.
And when we went to her house, like she was very
standoffish with me because we were like
broken up. It was basically like my last plea like just come up
for this and then you go on your way.
You know, do this for me.
You know, he'll fix your.
your issue. And, um, like, I don't know why I didn't, I didn't do it. Maybe I tried and I couldn't. Um,
so we go up there and the moment we're in his house because like he has like that misty Hayes,
good positive energy thing circling around and whatever. Um, she was like very, very loving towards me.
You know, so like she was like holding my hand on the couch and, you know, like, oh. So then she had to
use the bathroom. I go, John, why? She's not, she wasn't like this before we came here.
And he goes, yeah, because the bad things that her dad sent, like, that watch her and stuff can't get in here.
So they're not.
I'm like, oh, so they're out in my car in the back seat waiting for us to leave.
I'm like, that's great.
But he didn't, John didn't want to like help me with that.
So I kind of felt like I got to seek outside help, you know.
So that's when I came in contact with a voodoo priestess, a female mombo down in the city.
and she did this thing to get rid of like the bad energy.
Okay.
And when I was there, I met my buddy, Kevin DeMarcus, right?
He goes by DeMarcus.
So I might say DeMarcus on accident, but he's kind of going by Kevin now.
And he was there sitting in the waiting room.

And I'm like, you know, like, and I'm like, okay, this guy's here to see her,
but he was actually learning, like, the Haitian voodoo and stuff.
He was already, like, trained in Palo Mayambay, which was like the Cuban voodoo and stuff.
And he's just had an interest.
I think he was even, like, ordained minister before and stuff.
He just so knowledgeable, you know, about stuff.
So he's the one that the producers that did my first movie were actually trying to do, like, a voodoo, I don't know, like a documentary or something like that.
So they knew I was going through these things with this,
this Haitian mombo down in New York City.
And so they wanted to film it and see if they could pitch it as a reality show.
And when we went down there, Kevin was there.
So he was like helping her.
Right.
So I would, because prior to that, he was living in Memphis, Tennessee, but he was going through a divorce.
And so now he was actually living in the city.
So we reconnected.
And it started kind of growing as friends and everything.
and he was getting I was already observing that he was getting like more information and there's
like a lot of jealousy in that work in that you know like the voodoo thing thing um very competitive
you know with other voodoo priests and stuff like that but he was getting like information
from the spirits that his godmother didn't think like he deserved or should get like they
were telling him she's like oh you're not supposed to know that you're not supposed to to know that
And, you know, so we ended up when I got access to, or an opportunity, I should say, to open a restaurant.
I knew his background was French cuisine.
That's when he came up, you know, to the hotel.
Right.
And then kind of, I'm sure he influenced me writing a horror movie, you know, being a voodoo priest that's a chef in this restaurant.
And it was funny because we would go, I think a rumor even went around that we were like sacrificing chickens and then cooking them.
we never did that um you know so i mean there's nothing wrong with it if you cook up you got to die
anyway right you know um so uh you know like after and then after that we we got the the barbucky
restaurant and uh that was doing good until covid hit and he actually uh called that COVID was
coming like wait like before like months i want to say like half a year or more he goes there's
something in the air i'm telling you there's something in the air you know you could just feel
it like he like you know and this is before anything
even came out like COVID right
and then sure enough once
you know that was like starting to be
he had just left he just like
I'm gonna go to Africa you know
and so like the the barbecue place
closed he's in Africa
he leveled up extremely
like way more so spiritually
whereas you know I think like the voodoo thing kind of gets
a negative thing
because of the movies you know
it's like oh it's all skulls
and you know black
candles and this and that and whatever.
And I've seen them help a lot of people.
Like, you know, straightened their life out.
You know, like they were about to get evicted and he'd fix that or court case.
One woman, I remember we had to run to the graveyard, you know, on a Sunday night, you know,
he comes to me and he goes, we got to go to the graveyard.
I'm like, it's getting dark.
Like, you know, and it's raining.
Right.
And he goes, this woman has court case on Monday.
Like, we got to go.
So I'm sitting in the car.
I'm like looking at the gate.
like, okay, I hope we don't get locked in here.
You know, there's no way out.
And he went back into the cemetery.
He comes back.
He's all dripping, you know, water, you know, from the rain and everything.
And I think it was maybe later that Monday or Tuesday, the woman calls and said, yeah, yeah, I won.
What did he get in the court case?
Thighbone or something?
I don't know what he took back there.
Like sometimes I would see him, see him work on stuff, you know, and sometimes he'd just
be doing it. I'd be doing something else.
Did he leave with a shovel?
I mean,
like sometimes he'd take like a hammer in there.
But um.
I had to go,
I was to go break apart a tomb stone or something.
I didn't break.
You didn't break any of any of them.
But um,
you know,
he,
she said that like this was a woman who's husband was abusive to her or
boyfriend,
whatever.
They had a couple kids.
Um,
the welfare checks or something like that was in his name.
And,
uh,
he wasn't giving her any money.
So she's like in a shelter with these kids and she's like,
I don't have any money.
This guy's taking all the money.
He doesn't even have the kids.
He doesn't even have the kids. It's not taking care of the kids.
So then he went and did something even to the point where the judge said to the guy,
like he must have had like a spirit speak or make him speak.
And the guy went in and he was just incriminating himself, like left and right.
Like everything out of his mouth was like incriminating to his whole case.
To the point where the judge says, sir, do you realize where you are today?
do you realize you're in court?
And he's like, yeah, I hit her.
Yeah, I didn't give her no money.
Yeah, I did this.
Yeah, just like, you know, like ridiculous.
So she won that.
And, you know, I've seen him, you know, help a lot of people.
And usually the people, you know, that he really kind of would go a little bit vigilante with would be like,
there'd be like some or something in the paper.
And he would like, I know a couple times he would cut the article out and be like,
I'm going to take care of this son of a bitch.
You know, so he doesn't play that like, you know, like messing with kids stuff.
So like he, he, he screwed a few of those guys up.
I know, I know that.
But, but, but they just go ahead.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So what is.
What, so what are you?
So how did this come about?
Like, are you doing a movie with them or something?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So, like, what happened was, um, about like with Kevin.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Um, so, you know, he's over there.
And when, like I said, he leveled up to the point where.
You know, like in voodoo, it's like you're dealing with incarnate spirits and stuff like that.
And now he's actually like, because he's in Africa, like the motherland where the magic is just way better and stuff.
He's like in conversation with like a goddess.
Okay.
Like that's like, you know, in his wife.
He's taking a wife.
I'm actually going to see him in December for his official wedding there.
and she's getting dreams and they're coming to her and she's waking up with nosebleeds because like the radiation from them is like way more than you know like our soul or asparagus or whatever and he was getting you know headaches and nosebleeds now but they've kind of acclimated to the point and so they're getting like a lot of knowledge and stuff on how to do things how to how to treat things cure things you know ailments and everything like that so like there's a lot of people that he's helping he's more.
so on the helping people, you know, treating their physical ailments and stuff like that than anything else now.
And last October, he sends me a message, you know, on a, you know, like on a text.
And it's just like, oh, you were mentioned by like Hecate.
Like you, like call me ASAP.
Like I missed a call.
Like I think I was sleeping.
There's like four hour difference there.
And I'm like, oh, shit, what is this shit?
You know, like, I just like automatically, like, you couldn't say it in the text.
It must be bad.
Right.
You know what I mean?
So then he goes, yeah, they have something for you.
So I said, what, what's that?
So his wife was given a movie.
Okay.
Now, when I say a movie, I mean a real story.
Right.
Okay.
By Hekate, which is the goddess.
And, uh, she saw the whole thing, like in her dream, like a, like a two-hour movie.
And they said, give this to Richard and have him write it.
And then so she goes, well, how am I going to remember this?
This is two hours of a movie.
Like, and they said, we will not let it leave your head until you give it to them.
And sure enough, I get 30 WhatsApp messages of like this whole story.
And I had to cut, paste, email to myself, put them in a thing, and then write it.
And as I was writing it, I call Kevin and I said, you've heard this story, right?
And she goes, yeah.
And he goes, it's like almost like movie night, you know, like.
Like, you know, she gave me the story.
And I was like, I think this really happened.
And this movie particularly has to do with, um, for organs.
And I said there's certain things in here just being like writing and stuff that doesn't
necessarily even need to be in here because it doesn't really pertain to the story or anything.
It's like a backstory, but it doesn't have any relevance.
I think this is real.
He goes, I think so too.
He goes, I think this is like they want this to be known.
So I said, all right, you know, so I finished writing it.
And then he was like, oh, they have another one for you, you know, month later or something.
So they gave a couple stories.
And then they put him in touch with the world's greatest storyteller in their realm, okay, named Brenna.
This is, these are like spirits.
Yeah, like, but Brenna's like up there.
She's like almost like a lesser god.
Okay.
Not like an incarnate, like that was a guy that used to live 20 years ago and now he's walking around the earth, right?
Type of thing.
Of course.
So what they did was they, well, Hiccate introduced them personally to two spirits that passed away that wanted their story told.
And one was a woman during Germany, Nazi Germany, and she became a sniper for the British and goes on to like avenge, you know, that someone close to her.
You know, which is an amazing story.
I think that was maybe the second or third one I wrote.
And I got to tell you, like, I cried five times writing it.
And I would just get to the point where I'd be done writing for the day and go sit in my recliner and just like tear be coming.
I'm like, I can't believe this woman like really went through this.
Right.
Shit.
Like, this is crazy.
It was almost like no beautiful story, very like poetic, kind definitely altered my perception to a degree on, you know, like, life.
of people, you know, and thought that that was just a brilliant, brilliant story, which that one
in the next one, which is called Levi, or for the love of Levi, which the ending of that one

I'd start thinking about the ending of that one.
And it was just like lunacy.
I'm like, this is the craziest fucking ending that I've ever heard of.
I don't even think I could have ever thought of anything like this.
And then I was talking to Kevin on the phone.
And he goes, I never told him that it fucked me up.
Like, I couldn't sleep like for two weeks.
and he goes, yeah, that movie fucked me and Ebby up, his wife.
He goes for two weeks.
So he said like the same thing, you know.
And that one's amazing, you know.
So now they're in contact every week they get a new story.
So he's up to like 40 stories.
I've written into script format, seven of them thus far.
And they're just very, very amazing.
And they're all real.
This is all stuff literally that has happened.
Right.
You know, in various years, too.
There's the one, like I said, it was Nazi Germany.
So it was like in the 30s, into the like the early 40s.
I finished one called The Offering, which took place in the 1970s in Mexico.
He's got one that's in Mongolia, Thailand on some small island in Greece.
And all these stories are real.
This is like literally like the book of deeds of men.
These stories are getting pulled out.
These are like the highlight stories, you know, the greatest of the great that this spirit, Brenna, is giving him.
And you looked up, didn't you say you looked up like the sniper and it turned out to be like a real person?
That one, I think that there's, see, that's the thing is there's names in them.
Like, like for the sake of the story, okay, like the one woman's name is Amelia.
I don't believe it ever gives her last name.
But she had a sister and it gave her sister's first name.
I think it gave her parents first names in it.
And the thing is, if it's, you know, they keep good archives, you know, the British military.
Right.
So I think if, if anyone went to look this up, they would be able to find it.
Also, the, you know, you're limited in Google.
Google's not like what it used to be.
Now it's like firewalls or something, you know, you can't really find what you wanted.
Like 15 years ago, you'd Google something.
You'd get the results you wanted.
Now it's like, oh, whoever paid for that advertising, I, I,
got to witness their crappy webpage or whatever.
But like the one invested in Mexico, that one was in the 70s, so some of them should still be
alive.
And also it was the mayor of a small town called Espita.
Trying to think what his name was in that.
But it should be easily, you know, there should be record of it.
So some of the more modern stuff there should be records of.
And I also think there's there's one story called Diamond and that is more modern.
And also the one faces of betrayal, which is the one that seems to be more modern because they're talking about phones and almost sounds like cell phones when people are calling sometimes in it.
So there might be at some point when these get made the actual person watching their own movie going, how the fuck did they know that shit?
You know, like, and just blow, you know, and then at that point, I'm sure it'll be, you know, some interesting interviews and everything going on.
So he's getting a new story every week.
So what are you, I mean, you're, and you're writing the stories.
Yes.
In the script format, he's also starting to turn them into novels.
A dean, the World War II one there is called a dean.
The other one is Levi, which took place during the Middle-A-L-A.
in England and those are actually getting turned into novels as we speak so he's going to
start start releasing them as novels I'm putting them into script format we've already
talked with our production company that is taking on a Dean and Levi but there's
there's so much that other production companies could definitely you know come in and
partake of this right you know thing there's just so many I mean are you so
you're working with a production company that's going to turn them or
attempt to turn them into films?
Yeah, yeah, two of them.
Two of them. Yeah, yeah, they've slated two of them.
Right now they're dealing with the Toronto Film Festival right now,
which I think just ended yesterday or Sunday, just a couple days ago.
Okay.
So I'll be talking with them again and getting the update as to where we are on that.
But it's amazing to see, you know, these stories.
And they actually is a gift.
Brenna is kind of like a sign to him, is a, is a,
spirit now. So she's in his house, resides in his house. You know, here's everything. And he heard,
she heard, uh, she heard, uh, his wife and him mentioned my name and she, she said to them, like,
they can hear her and stuff. And I'm curious to see what I'm going to see or hear when I go
there in December and stay there for two weeks because I'll be sleeping in his house. And, um,
she said, who's Richard? And, and the thing is, is like, I think people have like a misconception
where they think like all spirits know everything. And, and it's like,
that doesn't even make any damn sense.
Because if a spirit knew everything,
they wouldn't even need to engage in any dialogue with anybody
because they know what you're going to say,
know what they're going to say back to it,
and then what you're going to say again,
so they wouldn't even engage in anything.
So I think they kind of narrow their scope
and their perspective to what is relevant, you know, at the time.
So she heard my name, and I'm all the way over here, you know,
and she's a sign there.
So I'm going to, like, fly across the ocean and check on me.
But so she actually,
was told by his Kevin's wife,
that's,
that,
that,
uh,
that,
uh,
Kevin's best friend in,
in the United States.
And she goes,
well,
I'm his best friend too.
Like,
you know,
a little,
not like,
jealous,
but,
um,
and so she went and he told me,
she looked in like the book of my deeds.
Mm-hmm.
But not just for this life,
for like all my past lives.
Like,
what kind of rap sheet is that?
Like,
you're looking,
like,
how deep you got to search,
search me out where you're looking at my past lives to,
you know,
see if I was a good man.
She's doing that to Google.
Oh, that's, yeah, that's very extensive.
Yeah.
So, so then is a gift.
She gave me one of my stories from a past life.
And she said, this is the one where you did like a very heroic act and stuff like that.
So I was in the Persian Empire, you know, and stuff in, was it 10, 92 or 1192, something like that.
So I actually read that when I was like, wow, that's crazy.
To die in a battle or what did you?
I do.
I do die in a battle.
Yeah. But the weird thing is, is like, I actually, in that, it's a crazy story, but like, it even starts tragic for me, you know. And I'm like, damn, son of a bitch. Like, so I don't, I don't want to ruin it, but I, I, uh, yeah, I die in battle, but I'm sufficient in battle, but knowing what, um, handicap I had, you wouldn't think I'd be able to fight at all. You know, so it was like, kind of weird.
One of the things that I witnessed is when we had the French cuisine restaurant, it was in a historic building, a historic hotel.
It used to be the old courthouse.
And business was slow because the main entrance was on a back street, although we were right downtown.
There wasn't really a sign saying, hey, we're right here.
You know, come in and, you know, get a...
marketing. French, I mean, we didn't really have like a budget for marketing.
You know, we went in there. We thought the hotel was going to have a certain amount of
people staying there and whatnot. And it was just ran really crappily, you know, by these guys.
And it even got so bad to the point where it was almost an extended stay type of place.
And then a few times when we filmed my movie there, there was one time I took the elevator and I'm
standing right next to this girl that was either a call.
girl or they were making a porno like one floor above like a porno I I believe a
porno was being made while we were filming our movie okay in the same in the same uh the hotel um
and business was slow and he says to me Kevin yeah uh I'm gonna feed the doors
and I go feed feed the doors and he goes yeah I'm gonna I'm gonna feed the doors like
business he goes I did it at my last restaurant and it it got crazy so I'm expecting them yeah
feed the damn doors so that we can make some money you know we would get customers and we
get some regulars but we weren't killing it there we weren't making what we wanted what we
expected and one day it's it's slow it's the start of the day and I'm you know dressed in my
you know white shirt and tie and stuff is the mater d or whatever the hell they call it there and the
There was these two big oak doors with big glass windows that there were the entrance to the restaurant.
And we were in a beautiful room with marble floor and everything.
It was like the main lobby converted into a restaurant.
And I go up to the door and I just rest my hand up on the door frame and it's in something sticky.
You know, so I'm like, what the fuck is on this?
So I take my hand away and I could see that it was dry.
So he fed the doors that night or something because he was staying in the hotel as the residential chef as well.
Okay.
So I'm like, okay, he fed the doors.
Man, that day was bat shit crazy.
Like, it got to the point where we had to lock customers out from trying to get in.
It's like, and then lock, which meant the ones that were already eating.
Right.
We're still, we're locked in.
Okay.
And I had to go unlock the door when people were ready to leave because people were coming up,
just yanking on the door trying to get in.
You know, and it was at that point, we weren't, we didn't have like a big staff
because we weren't doing that well there.
Right.
You know?
And I was like, dude, like, but I went and called them out on the feeding of the doors
after I saw it was on my hand.
I said, did you feed the doors?
Yeah.
And then it just, it read around lunchtime, man.
It was an influx of people.
Like we, and we couldn't keep up.
We couldn't keep up.
He goes, go lock the doors.
Go lock them out.
Okay.
Am I the only one?
This whole thing kind of seems this crazy.
What did he put on the thing?
It was birds.
It was like, it was like baby chickens or something or something.
Yeah, it was wild.
It worked.
Okay.
It worked.
For how long?
Because didn't you eventually close?
Yeah.
Like it worked like crazy that day.
and I think it had some residual for a little bit
and it died down but nothing was like that day
like that day was just like shot out of a cannon
yeah there's so many people and it was oh my god
it was like one of the worst days
like just because we weren't I think it was just him and I
I'm trying to think if we even had like a waitress on that day
and then he got mad at me one time
you know he would teach me things here and there
he would be like okay you do this
or you could bury this here
or you, you know, he would tell me stuff.
And one time he told me, um, with an egg, you know, how to kind of make, um, a girl argue with
her man and then want you.
Okay.
So, I'm not going to tell you what it is later.
Okay.
But, um, uh, so, you know, I don't know who he anticipated, you know, I was, I was going to use
it on.
but there was this one very cute waitress that I hired.
Obviously, if you hired her, it's not because of the skill set.
You know, I mean, she had some waitressing experience, but she was a very beautiful girl.
And I did the egg thing on her.
And I didn't even know she had a boyfriend, you know.
I thought I was like, okay, I'm just going to kind of get her to, like, pay some attention to me.
And, like, that day, she would, the, the, the, the,
It was her and another waitress on.
And then he came down.
It was right before lunch.
And I said when I said, yeah, I did the, the egg thing on, you know, you know who.
And he's like, you know, like, man.
You know, like, why the fucking, yeah.
Like, he's like, why the fuck you wasted on him, right?
You know, like on that chick, you know.
And I'm like, I don't know, like I'm single and like whatever.
You know, like, uh, so then.
The girl was like just bitching about her boyfriend, like, like texting him and like, oh, this fucking guy.
I'm fucking done with him.
Like, you know, I'm ready to, you know, this guy.
Like, so you could see that it was like annoying.
So, so, so Kevin's like watching this.
And just like every time like I'm witnessing it, I would look over at him and he would just give like give me this like shitty look like.
Why the fuck did you do it?
Look.
You know what I mean?
Like.
And then, uh, the girl was.
know, like, let's, you know, let's take a picture.
Let's take a selfie together and shit.
And he gave me, like, the weirdest stink eye look, man, like, just like, why, you know?
And then, yeah, and then I ended up, like, actually the girl and I ended up, like,
hooking up, and we dated for, for a few months.
And then she just kind of was, like, too, too jealous.
I think that fucking egg worked too good.
Right.
Because she was, like, showing up.
She was showing up, like, when it wasn't even her scheduled work day.
You know what I mean?
To, like, see what the fuck.
I'm doing, you know?
And she would, there was a window to the kitchen.
And you just see her head looking as I'm out into the seating area, just looking through
the thing, just spying like crazy, you know?
And then there was one girl that didn't, a woman came in to patronize the business.
And she was waiting on her one day.
And the girl said, she goes, oh, he's kind of cute.
And she goes, I know.
Like, she was ready to, like, fight the customer.
So like eventually, you know, I was like, dude, I got to get rid of this chick.
Like, what do I got to make an omelet now with an egg or what?
Yeah, like, I get, what do you do now?
And I can't remember if he did anything to kind of alleviate that.
But that was, that was a rough, you know, a rough getaway, you know, to get out from under, like, her clutches.
The old egg trick.
The old egg trick, man.
Yeah.
And then I went like bat shit with him.
He goes, you go fucking wear that out.
You can wear, you know, wear it out.
That's funny.
So what's what's going on now?
So what's going on now?
He's just, you know, he's over in Africa, just doing a lot of spiritual work for people.
But he anticipates within, you know, the next year or two to not be doing as much.
I think he's going to retire from the spiritual stuff in about two, three years.
he just doesn't he won't he won't he won't need to do it anymore for people okay well what
like what do you what does he do for like for for for money that that's what he does like he's very
good he gets very good results he's good results like people pay him to oh yeah yeah well like
also like for certain yeah for like you know most of it is not so much yeah like you know like
I said. It's the movies that's kind of like
oh it's non-s, like Voodoo's old like
negative one way, you know,
like fucking people up killing them, you know,
and doing shit like that.
And he's scams. I think of, oh,
you have bad money.
You have bad money.
You need to bring.
You had you came into money somehow.
That's bad.
Well, I have a job.
I did get paid.
Yes.
And this money is how much did you got.
$1,500.
You need to bring that money to me.
We need to.
wrap it in to get rid of its bad money, you know, and then, oh, yeah, and they've given
yeah, but I think, I think there's like negative.
You leave it here for a week and then it will be cleansed.
And then when they come back, the envelope is empty and they go, it was cleansed.
Yeah.
No, I think there's bad no matter what.
Like, I think, you know, there's a lot of, you know, like, priests that take your money.
You know what I mean?
Or televangelists or whatever.
Right.
You know, they're millionaires and billionaires from.
And they don't even have any results.
Like there's people, you know, it's kind of like counseling or anything.
I'm not saying he's wrong.
No, no.
I hear it.
I respect his hustle.
I mean, you know.
Yeah.
No, but he's, you know, he doesn't have like a call this number and get your, you know,
you don't think.
It's pretty much word of mouth.
And, you know, people are getting results.
So a lot of it is repeat business from people like, wow, you like, you help me with this.
You help me with that.
Like, I'm going to come to you for this.
Or now I have a cousin that needs.
this done. Like, you know, so, so it's very tangible results, uh, that he's doing. And people,
people, he, he keeps it kind of on the down low. It's not like he's got some weird YouTube
channel like, I am the Mamba of the, there, not Mamba, but like a Wungan of this, you know,
like it's, it's not that. Like he keeps it, keeps it small. And he's, he's got the, you know,
it's coming in, you know, he's doing, he's doing very well with it. Okay. And you can just move to
Africa, like you don't need a permit or something. No, he got, he got, he's, he's doing, you know,
He ended up getting a visa.
A visa?
Like when he went.
And then he had a contact there that helped him, you know, kind of get like the dual citizenship.
Right.
You know, because I guess you can't ever relinquish the USA.
They don't want to let go.
Okay.
And so he has dual citizenship.
Now, yeah, they helped him with that.
Yeah.
And the funny thing is, is like sometimes he had like a not like a really good bed to sleep in.
So sometimes I would just sleep on the couch.
and he would sleep in my bed.
And then when he started dating somebody, he would stay at their house a lot.
And I would go sleep in my own bed.
And I would have like really weird dreams of spirits like, hey, where's Kevin?
But like they expected to encounter him or something like that.
You know, where is he?
Tell him this.
So I go, oh, well, Legba said this.
Or, you know, like this spirit said that.
They said they wanted this.
You know, I was like his secretary a little bit.
it too. It was interesting.
And you, you like, I mean this in the most respectful way.
Yeah.
You believe this.
Like, you've seen you.
Like, um, there was, there was just too much I've seen that, that you can't go.
Oh, that's coincidence.
Like, get out of here.
You know what I mean?
Like, you know?
And, uh, there was a, when I had him like, work, you know, I told him, like, work, you know,
I told him, I said, man, like, something's, like, messing me up.
You know, somebody's, like, doing.
something to me or whatever like magically or something.
I just didn't feel right.
And he goes, I'm going to do, I'm going to do a cleansing for you, you know.
So I was like, all right, you know.
So, um, we're in the basement, uh, this one time.
And I go down in the basement.
You already drew like a big pentagram on, on the ground.
But obviously I'm stepping in it like right side up, you know, not like it was, you know,
some basfamette upside down satanic shit.
So it was more like a like a, like a, not, I don't want to.
I say Wicking, because it's not Wiccan.
It was Voodoo.
So he had candles going around it, white candles.
And he goes, you got to stand in the middle of this.
So I'm like, he's like, get in your boxers.
So I'm like, all right.
So it's like, getting weird.
Yeah.
So he had, you know, a black trash bag behind us.
And then I had my Nike, can I say Nike?
Yeah.
Too late.
Right.
Yes.
I had like this very nice
big black Nike duffel bag.
Okay.
Like outside of the circle.
So,
you know,
he has a thing's saying some prayer and everything.
And then he had a big calabash with herbs and stuff in it.
And he,
uh,
had a,
had a chicken down there,
I think.
Trying to think.
This is going to incriminate the shit out of me,
but you don't care because it's all about the views.
I mean.
We're a horse reviews.
What is that?
Peta, pita.
Like, they're going to get out of my ass.
Well, there's a chicken down there, all right?
So, like, what he had to do is he had to, like, rub my, like, body down with this chicken, okay, to get my scent on this chicken.
This is what I'm assuming.
I never, like, went to him and said, this is, like, process of deduction, like, deductive reasoning and stuff like else.
So, so he rubbed his chicken down, and then the, the chicken gets unalived.
At some point.
Okay.
All right.
And then he washes me with these herbs in the scallabash, like to like kind of give me a different scent or something.
And all this started because you made the comment.
Yeah, but I was, I felt off for like a like a while.
Like a like a month or something.
I'm like, dude.
Like it was almost like depression, but like usually like if you're depressed, you have like a fucking reason to be.
You know what I mean?
You're like, oh man, my dog died or this or that.
And I was just like fucked up for no real.
I was like, dude, where's this coming from?
What am I fucking fucked about?
Like, I couldn't figure it out.
So now you're standing in the middle of a pentagram.
In my boxers.
In your boxers, you've been rubbed down by chicken.
Yeah.
Like, if you didn't feel weird before.
No, no, the chicken was alive when I got rubbed with it.
Yeah.
Don't make me, yeah, I don't want to be a necrophiliac chicken guy.
That, you're right.
That would have been crazy.
Yeah, yeah.
It's a little less when it's alive.
Yeah.
So, yeah, after that.
You know, there was, you know, he's doing a prayer and everything like that.
And then he goes and he puts the chicken in the black trash bag.
Okay.
But he was still tending to me.
So this thing's there.
It's obviously deceased.
And we're going on and you just hear extreme rummaging through this bag.
Like to the point.
And it's like not the like I'm like there's no way that's the chicken.
I know sometimes it jerks around and like whatever because like I've been there with him when he's sacrificed them before.
And I know when they stop moving or doing something.
So there was something went into that bag to devour the chicken.
I think he took something off of me that went to that chicken because he rubbed it all up on my scent.
And it was trying to eat and feed off the energy of the chicken like it was feeding off of me.
and he's like, do you hear that?
And I'm like, yeah.
And I'm looking at, you know, I can't like leave the circle.
But I'm like just like turn around.
And I'm like, yeah, I think like that thing.
He goes, yeah, I think that thing's in there.
Like, you know, eating the, you know, what it thinks is you.
So I'm like, yeah.
So, you know, we get done and stuff.
You know, I dry off and, you know, candles go out, come out of the circle.
He takes the bag, ties it up.
The black trash bag throws it in my duffel bag.
And I thought he was just using my duffel bag to transport it out, like take it somewhere.
Not sure where he went with that.
I think he went by himself to get rid of it.
And when he came back, I think like a day later, I'm like, where's my Nike bag?
You know, like, you know?
And he goes, well, what the hell do you think?
Like I got rid of the, you know, the chicken in it.
I'm like, I'm like, it was already in a bag.
Like when he goes, you want me to go bring it back?
And I'm like, no, no, fuck it.
leave it. I don't need a Nike bag that bad, you know? But yeah, that that was weird because, like, I,
I literally seen it. And then, uh, another thing happened was, uh, we went to, we, we would get our
chickens from like, like, you're like, amazed. Look at his eyes. Just like, holy shit. Keep going.
Keep going with this.
It's a part series. So, um, we got our chickens from like, uh, like an, you know, one of those
auctions, like the, uh, the hell. Like, like,
farm, farm auction thing, you know, where they're, they're selling goats.
We never did a goat.
Right.
You know, it was always like chickens, roosters.
That would have been over the line.
I don't even know.
Yeah, yeah, that's cross-knit.
But, um, so, yeah, you don't want them pulling up a goat trying to rub me down with that thing.
But, um, we had three chickens in the backyard.
And we put them, they were in a cage.
It was summer.
You know, they had water and food.
and they're really respected for what they do.
Like, it's not like you're just using them like your,
your man wipes you got in the bathroom there.
Right.
But like, you know, you're really respecting the animals.
Are my wife, by the way.
Oh, they are?
Yeah.
So, so, um, geez.
So, you know, you really have a respect for the animal.
You know, like some people like, you know, they eat a chicken sandwich.
They're not praying over it saying, oh, thank you for your, for your,
Your offering of life.
Your sacrifice.
Yeah, your sacrifice so that I could eat and shit you out later, you know?
But, you know, like with him, you know, there's definitely a respect for what, you know,
instead of the chicken being food, you know, for him, for energy and whatnot, instead,
it kind of exists as still providing something for the individual, whether it's doing something
magically removing a curse, doing whatever, okay?
So we had three chickens out on this wooden stump in the backyard
And because we we weren't going to, you know, use them until the next morning
And the neighbor came over ringing the doorbell early in the in the morning and mind you, they're in a fenced-in yard
The chickens are all the way in the back this neighbor doesn't even go in her backyard and just being a Karen basically
And she she's
like, you guys got chickens in the backyard and this and that.
And like, first off, like, we're legally allowed to have chickens.
Like, in, like, I don't think you can have roosters, but you can have, like, hens.
And, um, she, uh, you know, was like, they, you need to do something.
What if a fox gets them?
I'm like, through the fucking cage.
Like, it's a problem.
Not, no.
Like, I've never seen a fox in my neighborhood.
But, like, so she's just being a Karen, basically.
And, uh, we're like.
look, you know, we'll take them out of you.
You need to get rid of them now.
It's like nine in the morning.
We've slept in a little bit, you know?
And she's like, you got to do something.
Or I'm calling, I don't know, she threatened the police or animal control or both or some shit, right?
So I'm like, all right, all right.
Deal with it.
Like, fuck out of here.
So then she goes and I go up to him and he's like, what the fuck was that about?
Because he was like just waking up.
And I go, yeah.
a fucking bitch next door like, you know,
complaining about the, it's like what?
He goes, he goes, I'm going to fucking make her move.
I'm going to make her move out of her house.
And no shit, that woman was gone in like six months.
Put her house up for sale and like left.
You know, so I think he like sent something tormenting her.
Yeah, like she had no, she lived there for 40, 35 years or something.
You know, there was no reason for her to just get up and leave.
And he said it.
He's like, I'm going to make her move.
I'm going to make her move.
I don't think it had anything to do with the fact that two guys,
one of them being a voodoo priest,
moved in next door to them.
And they've got chickens, you know.
No, all my long.
I mean, is that at all?
That was the only time.
No, that was the only time we left them outside.
Like most of the time when we got them back,
they went right into the garage.
But I think that time they were like too loud or something.
So like I was like,
let's put their ass on.
What noise they made?
What is it?
What do you call it?
Gobbling?
That's a turkey.
Turkey.
What do chickens do?
What do they call that?
Clock.
Clock.
Clocking and then backyard.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So they were just,
I didn't want him in the garage that day.
And so she didn't know what he was into.
She didn't know he did.
Did that stuff.
Your brother's name is Kevin?
Yes.
Kevin,
how do you feel about all this?
He's met.
He's met the other Kevin.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It's interesting.
Okay.
There you go.
It's interesting.
He's a polite.
He doesn't know what to make of it.
But there was the time, remember when we went to go eat and my phones were blown up?
And I told you the spirit, like, showed me something.
Yeah.
You told me a lot of stories that I don't have time for her.
Yeah.
Yeah.
This has been interesting.
Yes.
Anything else?
I was a co-owner of.
a French cuisine restaurant with my friend, Kevin, Kevin DeMarcus, the voodoo priest.
Okay.
So this is going to segue into that.
And we were running it out of a very historic hotel that used to be a courthouse.
And just there was some weird stuff that would happen in the hotel.
He was actually staying there because he moved up from the city when I brought the opportunity to him.
like, hey, there's an opening here.
You know, if you, I know you're a chef.
He had four French cuisine restaurants in Memphis, Tennessee.
After he went through a divorce, he just, I'm going to go up to the city, just vacate him.
And I said, there's an opportunity up here.
Why don't you come up?
So he came up and we ran the French cuisine restaurant and I got an idea for...
Out of the old courthouse.
Yeah, well, it was converted into a hotel.
Right, that weird things happen.
Right, right.
Like what?
Like room 13.
of course room 13 yeah right and people would report the toilet would flush on its own
and people would reportedly reportedly get their feet massage by something that wasn't there
so this is a weird room yeah we're a good one yeah depending on if you need your feet rubbed weird
kinky and we actually yeah we actually filmed in that room in in the movie uh the overnight which is
the first movie that that i did okay which we
was the horror movie. Although I had wrote it, I had no need to direct. You know, I didn't,
I didn't really care to. It wasn't my forte. Didn't have the experience to. And so I went and I
got these two producers. They got the ball rolling and then screwed me. So what they did? How?
The wife kind of wears the pants in the family. And she convinced her husband like,
you know, we got to take control of this. Like Richard doesn't know what he's doing.
And I wasn't trying to pretend I knew what I was doing.
I just wanted what I was due.
Right.
You know?
And they ended up saying, hey, sign in under our legal umbrella.
Come in under our LLC.
Right.
Relinquished all my rights.
Right.
You know.
So then I was treated.
Now you're an employee.
Yeah.
Like I'm like, oh, he's one of the writers.
And she wanted to write it.
But in the initial contract, it was like, I'm the only writer.
Mm-hmm.
So then what this.
idiot did and um she goes and spends two weeks watching other movies other horror movies to see what
they had in common like trying to find the algorithm right you know of what is scary yeah so then
she went and since i signed off on it she was able to come in and right right which is what
she wanted the whole time yeah and uh when she did that um she put in a lot of cliche yeah things that were
in horror movies, which I thought is like kind of plagiaristic.
Right.
You know, in nature.
And, you know, the movie came out and they just assassinated themselves by saying,
because it was done in the hotel.
We filmed it in the hotel, the haunted hotel.
And, oh, this is the shining.
This is like the second shining.
And it's like way to compare yourself to like one of the top three horror movies.
Stanley Kubrick like you're out of your mind.
You might want to lower the bar a little.
Yeah.
A little bit.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So when she, when I gave her the initial script, she goes, we can't do this.
This is too scary.
This is too.
Like, that's the purpose of a freaking scary movie.
Yeah.
You know, it's supposed to be scary.
You know, that's what we want, right?
Like, that's what we're making.
So she made it more, I called it Hannah Montana.
Like, I called it like more poppy, like, fun and stuff and put in some things that I just
believed were really hokey.
So there was a lot of.
complaints about that woman on the set.
There was actually a meeting and her husband deflected and tried to like put
blame on me.
I'm like, I'm just sitting here.
I'm just on set, you know?
And the one of the producers ended up having a stroke in the middle of shooting.
So it was a two week shoe.
One week in, this guy's getting flown in a helicopter two hours away.
Right.
And then his wife.
was, I think, suspected that my friend, the voodoo priest, did it, you know, and I don't know if he did or didn't.
He never told me, oh, yeah, I put the kibosh on, you know, the one producer.
He never told me.
But the guy was already, he had a history of strokes and everything.
You know, I think it was the stress, you know, probably his wife killed him.
So she didn't really know what was going on after he left.
It was, you know, chicken with the head cut off, you know, running around.
She couldn't really pull anything together good.
When the one producer ended up having his stroke and he was gone,
his wife relied upon the crew member that was maybe the most junkie addicts guy.
Right.
You know, on the set to go dump the footage.
And when he went to dump the footage, he erased a third of the movie.
So they had to go reshoot that, which then they had to line up everybody's schedules all over.
again and stuff.
And, you know, it was just a mess.
It inflated the budget to the point where it didn't equal what it would make back.
There wasn't big stars in it.
And then when they went out and said, this is like the shining, we got her asses kicked,
like in the media.
Like any review was like, yeah, right.
Like this is like, and had we just said and made it a bee.
movie on purpose, there's a market for that.
People love watching crappy horror movies and good horror movies.
You know, they pick on the bad ones.
Oh, look how bad that effect is.
Look how stupid, you know, this guy is.
Right.
And we didn't do that.
We were like, we're up here.
This is, you know, this is a classic.
Yeah.
You know, this is, you know, and I'm just sitting there like,
my name is attached to this.
Yeah.
That's not the case, though.
No, no, it was not the case.
All right.
Yeah, but every once in a while you end up with one of these films like,
Colby won't remember this.
I don't even think these happen anymore
because now this is a standard.
But when Blair Witch Project came out,
like the phone footage stuff.
Yeah, yeah.
Like Blair Witch Project came out,
which was three kids.
I'd say three,
were there four?
I think there was four.
Okay, so the four kids end up shooting,
they end up deciding
they're going to go deep into the woods in,
I don't know where, Oklahoma, whatever.
PA, I think.
Was it?
I think so.
Cool.
They drive out, so they're film students, and they're going to drive out to where to interview people about the Blair Witch, because there's this kind of war about this witch that would kidnap local kids and they would disappear and she lived in the woods.
And so they're going to interview some people.
And they even believe that there's a house somewhere in the woods, right?
So they interview a few people at the beginning of the film.
And they're all fucked up.
It was all like eight millimeter or right.
It's bad fucking
They're not on the old camera
On there using the new camera
And the old one
And so they watch the whole
They go out in the woods
To find this fucking house
And they get lost
Like they get lost in the woods
Like
Like that's a serious fucking thing
Like you get lost in the woods
You could just die
You know
And so nobody knows where they're going
Nobody knows anything
They're lost
They're freaking out
They're turning on each other
And every night when they go to bed
They go to bed
In their little camps
And everything
And something's out
there moving around like they're freaking out you're freaking out watching it because the whole movie
so in the end they find this house and they get somebody gets kidnapped and they go in to try
and find them and i mean just thinking about it like the hair on my arms are standing up it's so
overwhelmingly freaky and the whole movie is pitched as that after this whole thing happened
the footage was found by some hikers they found the footage and they put this movie together
with this footage that those kids were never found again, never seen again.
They just found the raw footage.
And some producer put it all together.
And that is how all the advertisement was done.
This was found footage by some film documentary film students who were putting together a story about the Blair Witch.
They disappeared.
And to this day, nobody's seen them.
This is the footage that we put together based on what happened.
So it's a documentary.
And I mean, you're reading articles about it.
You're like, holy shit, this is amazing.
They did a good job.
It's all masking it.
Yeah.
It's true.
Like, this is all bullshit.
Like, they would know.
It's all that's part of the marketing.
I think they did it for like.
And I remember Googling it like back when it happened.
Right.
Is this real?
There's articles about when it first.
When it first, yeah.
When it first came out, if you Googled it, you were led to believe that this was real original, real stuff.
They didn't leak it out.
It was fucking.
amazing. It was amazing. Like
when we went to see it,
I happened to be that one of my
brokers at the time had
seen it was like, bro, you got to see this movie.
I was like, what? He said, yeah. He said, you got to take your
wife to go see the movie. I was like, okay.
Why? And he was like, he told me all about it. He was like,
I was like, holy shit. He was like, bro, it's freaky
as fuck. And then he said, I'm going to tell you
something. No, he said, it's all fake.
So he tells me it's all bullshit. The marketing
is all set up because he'd been out for like a week.
Yeah. By that time, it was
coming out. So I take my wife and I don't tell her or my girlfriend. I don't know if I was married. Whoever I took,
I took some chick there and she saw, she was freaking. I'm like, you know, people in the line or
are like, can you be like, no, they just found the footage. Like, they still don't know. Right. Right.
And I'm knowing the, but I mean, for a while. It was amazing. And then you saw in,
and then the, but the biggest thing to me, scratch all that is the whole film was made for like
80 grand, 60 grand. It was made for almost nothing. It was less. Or was that paranormal activity? One of
one was like 35,000 or something like yeah so somebody said it was made for the price of a compact
car now that's what i had always heard so i assumed it was 35 000 but later i looked i looked it up and
somebody it was like for 60 or 80 grand and i was a hell of a car i was back then that was more like a
fucking nice horse car yeah um but so yeah it was made for and it and it it it made like you know
eight million dollars or something or 20 or 30 or 40 million whatever it was an outrageous amount of
it made and it blew the doors off of that kind of film right because everybody else kind of
started coming out with that kind of stuff and then it just died off like you could only do that
once but but to me that's it's that hook that nobody has and yeah that was great fucking what did it make
what did the bluer witch project make see i'm i don't have jill rogan has the highest
percentage it grossing jo rogan has like jamie this is the same guy this guy do you order
50 million.
What did I just say?
10 million, 6 million?
It didn't see Narumai.
How much was it made for?
What's the budget?
Oh, let's see.
Because I remember the budget was way higher than I thought,
because I always heard about the price of a compact car.
35,000.
That was right.
You were right, 35,000.
Where did I see it?
1,000 or 60 or 80 the other day.
Fact checking.
Oh, my God.
Can you imagine that investor?
I'm going to give you the 35 grand to do it, but that investor's coming back all day.
Yeah, yeah.
Can you fucking imagine that guy?
That's some guys,
some guy's dad stuck it on his,
stuck the budget on his credit card.
Like Billy's dad's gonna put it on his credit card.
Yeah, buddy's gotta get 50% of the return.
You know, well,
Billy's never gonna see that money,
I'll tell you that.
And that was a gold mind right there.
Fuck.
Wow.
Still, I mean, like, you know, you end up,
that to me, that's the kind of thing,
like you stumble on to some little niche
that nobody quite has yet.
And then paranormal activity,
duplicated it to a degree.
You know another one?
You want to run the paranormal activity numbers?
I was probably locked up by then.
Well, yeah, well, the Blair Witch was the first
original found footage where everyone was believing it.
And then paranormal activity, I think, people...
They kind of felt like that.
You know, because the truth kind of came out after the,
the Blair Witch that it was...
Yeah. Okay, yeah.
Uh, yeah.
The production is anywhere from 15,000 to 200,000, but it made 200 million.
Again.
Worth it, yeah.
Good.
That's a good investment.
It is.
That's an investor that comes back.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It was shot for 15,000.
And then additional post processing and stuff, I think was the extra 200,000.
So.
Good for them.
Wow.
Bastards.
What's that thing around your neck?
Is it?
Oh, you noticed.
Yeah.
Okay.
Well, I don't know what it is.
Yeah, I can't go into too much of the explanation,
but, you know, these were told,
I was told to get these through Kevin's spirits, you know?
So they both have meaning.
This thing, we'll just say it helps business-wise.
I can't go into specifics,
but I get a lot of people asking about it
because it's just not like a typical charm.
Listen, yeah.
