Just so happened, I took a guy's eyes out. Okay. We got him, and I was paid to do it. In the show, it says, I'm still crazy enough to take an eye out. It was like, everybody said, there you go. But my dad was always a legit.

gentleman guy, but he always knew a lot of gangsters and street guys. When you grow up in that neighborhood East New York, Brooklyn, you know them all. Yeah. And I was always fascinated by that life. I go to track with him a lot. And who's there? Jimmy Burke. Holy Rario. My father do them. I was on the park. Everybody knew. We sat on the steps, better horses. The old time is Jimmy Burke or give me 10 dollars to go better horse. Man, I said, this is the life I want to live. This is what I want to do. This is who I want to be. When I was on the show of a lad, he said, okay, so when you were 15 and 17, you got out of Jovee.

Then you got in trouble. I read at 17 and 10 months, I said, trouble, trouble. What did I do this time? He said, I read on your police report, you stabbed the kid in the chest. That's right. I forgot about that. He said, what do you mean you just forget about stabbing a guy in the chest? I says, a friend of mine's daughter was being harassed by this guy, and he said,

Jimmy, do me a favor. Go to this guy. You know him. Stay away from my daughter because if I come after him, let him know. And I told him, and he tells me, tell the guy, go, so do what he's got to do. So I plunged him in the chest. So he said, did you kill him? I said, no, I didn't kill him.

He said, what did you do? I said, I got out of there. I came down to Clearwater, Florida, until Rudy got a hold of the guy's family and give him money to drop charges. I was wanted for it. But they dropped everything on me. I came back. I stood in Clearwater, Florida, US 19. You know about that?

Oakwyn apartments? I don't know if there's lots of apartment. Right on the corner of the Philadelphia, Philly's practice right there. That was the apartment I lived in right there, I was there under different name and everything. Until they told me, the kid dropped, he ain't got a pressure all you're going to come on back. I'd go on the run. And then from there, I was working at the racetrack when I turned 18. Who are you doing this in high school?

or with other high schools? In other words, and when you're around the tiny house on Sundays, you see those football cards on the table. Even the women fell about, you know, 12 to 1, 18. So I used to make copies, and I go around school, all the other kids giving them out. I was making money with them. And then I had a guy named Fritzie Carball.

His own name was Fritzie Juvenelli. Come to the racetrack. I was a waiter there. And he's like, a kid, I see you do the cards and all. Why don't you do some bookmaking? you get the people to call this number, you'll get a percentage. So I learned a little more, a little more, a little more before you know it. I had a half sheet with him.

I had everybody in the racetrack betting on me. I had even tell his betting on me. So then I didn't want to, I won't be a waiter no more. Right. I'm making a good money. You know, a kid 18 years old, you make $2,000 a week. You're a big shot. Right.

So then I started doing my own bookmaking. Well, especially back then, this is, what, 30 years ago? 30 more. 40? You get in trouble for that now. Yeah, 40-something years ago. God, $2,000 a week.

Yeah. You could live in Florida for that. For that's $8,000 a month. You could live like a king in Florida for $8,000 for $8.000. I live in August, so I can't live for $8,000 with my daughters. The way they spend. So anyway, I started doing that and making good money. And I got to the point where, you know what, Matt lost $7,000.

Matt ain't got it. Okay, Matt, no problem. You got a house. I know, you know, I know you got something to lean back on where I could squeeze you. You owe 2% a week, 2% a week depends what kind of, I think you're a sucker or not. Like a 3% a week on 5,000, you pay me 150 a week. Still owe me that 5-grain until you bring me that chunk. I don't want to know anything.

And I started getting enough money out there, loan shocking. Then I hooked up with a captain in the Cavalcanti Crying family. Rudy. And that's when Rudy's a big type of load shark, him, Joe Smash. And he gave me, like, cobblanc, do whatever you want, bookmaking, loan shark, and joker, extortions, Kennedy Airport, I robbed everything out of there. I had captained me. You know, I had captains of behind me. Got to the point where I had hundreds of thousands of dollars in the street, loan shock money. And I was even running it for Rudy. You know, I shielded him from everybody. This makes you what, an associate?

Associated the time. And Rudy kept saying, you know, I'm going to do something for you. Because here it is, I've been pinched a bunch of times. A total I've been arrested 13 times. Never, 12 times, never said a word. Never once. Never thought about it. What are you being pinched for?

Is this all loan charking? Bookmaking, loan sharking, hijacking. I mean, are these like they build a case or is it just like, is there like wire somebody up get you to say something yeah okay one of the guys is the guy if you watch goodfell is sunny bamboo the guy to hit him in the head with the bottle oh yeah yeah yeah yeah his real name is santino visconti his brother was brutal the one they killed on the bell parkway left the canary in his mouth okay so he wore the wire on us lennie d maria um a captain in the gambino family under john goddy told me do one

all the business you want. He's good as goal. I don't for many years. I lent him a shout like money, 10 grand. We took a whole truck of Donna Karen dress. A million dollars worth a Donna Karen dress and I had to get to the airport. We took everything.

There wasn't hell down. And what do you sell those? You just put the word out? Or do you have like a, or is there like a retail store? We have a blacklist. You know what I mean? Like, oh, so-and-so computers, you call so-and-so. Like Whitey Bulger, I had a guy named Jack McAnady.

He used to bring everything up to him. Jewelry, because we didn't want it sold in the neighborhood. It was robbed. Like, we took a jeweler on the way home. We didn't want it because they'll put the word out. Hey, anybody see, like, you know, this, something, make a long. So we'd bring it up to Whitey Bulger. Old man, Jack, the Irishman, would bring it up there.

Whitey, buy everything off. Even when we robbed drug dealers, he would bring it up there and sell it. Nobody in the neighborhood, no. So at what point you were saying that you're working under which crew? The Cavalcanti, the real-life sopranos? Right. So you're working under them. A captain named Rudy Ferone.

And but Goddys is saying, why isn't he? Yeah, in other words, I was low in shock. For example, there was elegant limousine company. And the guy got jabbed out to most three on the ground with me. Finally, lived in a $2 million home. Got a home in Brigantine, I don't know, in Jersey. So far, I said, Bob, we want all the money in. You know, and he ran to John.

John ran to Bobby Borrello. He's a captain in that family. He got killed. And I got a long story short, Rudy came forward. It says, buy money. What's the problem? I'm a captain. See, a civilian, they could tell the way to go.

Right. Associate, you understand? but the captain says it's my money. It's it. You can't call another wise guy a liar. So Rudy collected the money. Okay. It was another incident in Howard Beach.

John got his neighborhood. Wait, I'm sorry. He collected the money. He gave you the money? No. He just said, I'm taking your money. Go fuck yourself. To the Gambinos?

No, I thought you said your guy. My guy went and sat down and said, it's my money. Oh, okay. But it was our money. Okay. But I'm not supposed to win an argument over a big guy. Okay.

So then you get the money. Yeah, behind closed doors. Right. Exactly. So Rudy played, you know, I'm a wise guy. You can't take my money. And that's how I, and they knew what they know it. They played the same game with their guys.

They're associates. So that another incident with Amago gas station, I'll crosspay a bullet rod. I owed me a couple hundred thousand. I leaned on and blah, blah. So make a long story. sure you ran to somebody again and and they came forward they paid for him but in the intro Jimmy Amicoe made a comment to one of the guys Joe Smash a wise guy he told him go fuck himself

and you can't talk the way to wise guys so John Gotti Jr. told Joe Smash listen I'm gonna pay it bill but whatever you do don't kill him but he deserves a good bean so I lord him downtown down Brooklyn, and we did. We split his head open. We busted him off bed. Put him in the hospital. And I took his motorcycle to Holly Davis. It was horrible.

But you want to live that life. Right. You know, you play with, you know, fire, you get burned. You said John Gotti Jr.? Senior. Senior. Okay. Then he went away.

And then it was always a problem, Junior, about this kid all me, money, me lean on him, or me hitting somebody. So then there was a problem. problem with the fireworks. I was pretty big with fireworks. I had a lot of fireworks on Trinio. And he calls me up and he says, can you do me a favor? Meet me around the corner by D. and Broseill's house. I said, yeah. So I already know the hostility from dead, you know,

so there's no love. So I go over. I got 38 my back. I got a hand my back, everything. And he's like, what are you doing? You're selling fireworks right in my neighborhood, your neighborhood? I thought it's called Howard Beach, you know. Right. He said, well, you're making money right under my nose. You did this with my father. He did this. I mean, I wanted to give him a tissue. He was crying so much.

But, Meg, I said to me. I said, John, tell me where we're going with this. I want you to buy up me. I'm not. I'm buying through Rudy. You got a problem to go see Rudy. And I smirk. He says, you want to go down that road?

Do what you got to do. As soon as I, two hours later, I get a phone call for Rudy. Come see me. at my house. What's wrong? I knew what was wrong. And he says, Junior's pretty best. That's a fucking surprise. I mean, he's like a spoiled brat, I said. He said, I know that, but he also wears the title. And you got to watch how you talk to certain people. You got to lay low. I ain't laying low. And I strapped up, looking for him. I run into him. He's dead. It's that simple. He's gone.

But there was no running into him. He laid low. Mary Longst, they caught up with me, though. They posed as police officers. Top car pulled me over. And they said, move over. When I see one of the other guys get out, I realize they're not cops. And I charged them, and they left me for dead. They left me for dead.

What they gave you a beating? Oh, guys, bats, pipes. I mean, I was in a coma. It holes all over me. I'm all, yeah. So then on a sit down Because again The cops came to me

And I don't know nothing I don't know nothing I don't know Did you sorry Did you know Sammy the bowl? I met Sammy Not many times

No No real business with them Okay So after the sit down They said I told Rudy He said What do you want out of this sit down

You know I want to kill junior, you know. So he comes back, he's listened to me. If it wasn't for Joe Messina, Wild Bill, any Palermo, which, look, he was the boss off him. They all went to back for you. He said, this kid took 13 pinches, 12 pitches, 13.45. Never opened up on Nova. He's done a lot of work. For what? Because he's trying to earn our money in the streets. So they told us, we got to shake hands. Shake hands. I want to kill his best. Take hands. So they said, I said, okay, let me at least kill the guys at the scene. It was like five of them.

At least give me, let me kill one or two at least, you know, even to school them. No, you can't. They went to do it like, you send somebody to a job. You're telling me, I can't whack them either. Well, fuck. He says, where's my restitution? Well, the kid that set you up, hey, me, brothers, you could kill them. It's okay.

So I put a hit team together and junior said, whatever you do, don't kill him in Howard Beach. He lives. He backs up to my father's house at Howard Beach. where am I going to get him? Canarsie market to buy vegetables. He supplies all the stores. So I'm sitting in his van, waiting for him to get in so I could pop them. One night, don't show. That's night, don't show. Third night, getting there an hour early. I got the chase car to radios,

scanners. Coming out of his house, just walking out. And give me time to get in the van. So I told Mikey Sapp. I said, okay, Itch up, bitch up. I'm going to whack him right there. And as soon as I went to pop him, it was an automatic.

It was jam. He got that car. It started to take a... Mikey Sapp got out, fired a couple shots. Missed him. Before we didn't get, not even a mile, came over to police scound. Shots fired on a corner of Colansey and 155. Man driving a red pickup truck.

It was even a... It was a corolla, whatever. It wasn't, it was nothing even, well, a kid got panic. He called up 911 right away. So I got a call the next day, come to the club. Rudy says, it's over it. Leave it alone. You had your attempt, you blew it.

He says, wait, five, six years. Right. Junior's walking, the duburu that he is. Nobody liked him. Right. He says, do what you got to do, leave there. And that was held that settlement. I wasn't happy with it.

Right. Wasn't that. That's what I'm saying. All the money. I made their family. And they were the first ones to flip by me, the bosses. There's no more loyalty. No.

After 91, then I caught up a body, a case. The guy, Vinny had, he was a bookmaker. He always laid off to me a lot of business. He was around Rudy, too. He come to me. He was jammed up big time with Rudy. You got mixed up with the Spanish girl, loved drugs. He loved drugs, I guess.

and he had a partner named Ivan Katz, insurance, a guy. They finagle their case. They backdated the policy. The brother had AIDS. Vinny's brother, the bookmaker, has AIDS. They backdate a policy. They get fake blood, you know.

They got everything to jive. And he comes to me, he said, I need a favor. He said, I know you'll do it for me. I said, what do you need? He said, I need you to kill Sally Bull. I'm jammed up. big time of Rudy. And before I get killed, he's got AIDS.

I'm going to tell you. And I got an insurance policy on him. And I want to give it to him. He's a minister to the neighborhood. You said it, Melody. Yeah, he did. He broke it to the old lady's home. He got in trouble.

We don't play that. I said, Vinny, I got to run this by Rudy. I can't. You got to put a murder on record. Right. I went to Rudy. He says, yeah, he owes me $2,000 and $2,000, almost straight on 1,000.

He's, yeah. If you think of that, is he real? And Rudy, if you don't pay me, he's going. Would you do that? Would you hire me and do that and pay me? I'd be too scared. But I understand that situation, yeah. So Rudy said, get it done.

So a couple days later, I got him in a car and dumped him on a bell parkway. What do you mean you got him in the car? Well, Sally Boy was a neighborhood kid. Okay. So how old is he? He was about 35. And we seen him. He was hanging outside of a bar on 7th.

They had to do him. And Pluto called him over and says, hey, Jim Ezy's in the car. We're going to do a score. We need one more guy. You want to come with us? Yeah. He gets in a car. So we're driving.

At a certain point, he got scared. And that's when just popped him there. Hit him about four or five times. Then we threw him out on the Bell Parkway. And I know the idea. There was a riding academy right there. We got out of that drive, not even a mile, get off the next exit, come back around, go back around. Police are there already.

So I go to the club the next day. I put on record with Rudy. That thing's taken care of. I get any news. It was sent care right away. His family got notified. I went to the funeral. kept asking me for my money, you know, and kept playing games with me.

Pluto, and Pluto was a type of guy, you don't want to play games with when I tell you, you know, he'll kill you just for the hell of it, okay? So I said, Rennie, let's not have a problem here. He's no, no, no, there's no problem, there's no problem, there's no problem. So I grab a hold of his upon Ivan, Ivan, because he was a Jewish guy that was sharp, shrewd, he knows that finagle paper, or I say, Ivan, I want my money. He says, I give you my word, because they're doing a thing called double indemnity. Double indemnity. They were fighting for a half million dollar policy.

They were fighting for double. Vinnie told me it was under investigation. Isaac, let me just tell you this. I'm going to give you a couple more weeks. But if it don't happen, I'm going to put you and Vinny in the same spot as sell because you're not going to make a lollipop out of me. It's a mega long story. All of a sudden, two weeks late, he calls me up.

Well, no. We're in my apartment, and a guy named Angel Panna pulls up to my building. He lived in my building. I had a six-family apartment, Brownstone and Brooklyn. He runs in. Pluto's on my couch. He's talking about Vinny.

What are we going to do? What I do? Angel runs in. He says, hurry up. I just see Vinny on 5th Avenue, 20th Street. Pluto dashes out the door with Viti. I can't have time. All of a sudden, they came back.

What happened? He said, I got him. What happened? I rolled open to the door. He had a van. His electrician event, electrician's a drain. Open the door, if he went to reach, it's too late. I hit him here and here with a 3-57.

He said, he's gone. So I get a hold of Ivan. Two out of three, what are we doing? He said, I'll see them all. I met him in Clearwater, Florida. I flew down here, bringing the money back was harder. Right. You know, it was about $4.50.

And then I did, you know, I had a couple of the bodies, you know. Why are they not? Why would you not pay? I think the drugs. He left his wife for the girl. He had a little. But you're probably just, even if he only got a million dollars, he's just got a million dollars from the fucking the insurance.

I understand he's trying for two million. He was so cloudy. I mean, you never see this guy. He's not in his right mind. It's the only thing I could think of. Plus, it's not like he's thinking, he won't do it. You just killed somebody.

Clearly, you'll do it. Days later was done. I mean, I mean, but he, you know, look what he did. He lost his life. He lost his brother. You know, a lot over a girl. I know it was over the disc. He was nuts over his girl.

So probably like in 93, 94, all man, Jack comes to me and he said, listen, McInady, the guy from the Westies. He said, I got a score for us. but I can't figure out how to rob this guy. He lives on Ocean Parkway on the 12th floor. He's built. He's about 6'2, 240 pounds, you know, but he's one of the biggest drug deals in St. John's.

He's selling the players, steroids. He's got guns jewelry in the house. Can't get in. He's got a steel door. So I said, Jack, all right. So Jack's got all the police outfits. He's got FTT florists. Jack's got a priest outfit.

He's good. He said, I got away. He says, come with me. He's dressing jeans like, we're going as cops. Okay. Gives me the vest. I got the chain hanging. Jack knocks on the door.

The guy looks at a peephole. What do you want? He says, police officer. What do you want? Do you have a search warrant? You can't come in here. Jack shows a picture of a girl. Dead.

Layed out dead? This girl was last seen coming out of your apartment. You either would open that fucking door or we're going to come with a search warrant and go through that house. So he figures, I didn't do nothing to this girl. I'm going to talk to these cops. Right.

He opened the door, let us in. Then we just robbed him. Right. Took everything. Listen, here's the funny part is Jack cuffed him. Got him sat down. Abgo, Cheros. She said, hey, what is that cop doing in my room?

And finally, I came outside. He said, you want to shut the fuck up? I'm not a cop. You're being robbed. Thank you. Thank you. You don't understand. I come from a Jewish family.

They'll kill me. I would go to jail. please take everything. I'll never do it again. He got up. He showed us where everything was, gun, jewelry. That was an easy score.

Jack's talking about, lowering me down from the roof, go to the window. Right. I ain't going 13 stores up enough. We got them. We got, there was about a key of Coke. It was about quarter key I wore

and half a geek I roll. But there was a lot of money and jewelry and we got out of him. He never called the cops or nothing. He was so happy. He wasn't going to jail. Then I had another one. He was like a godson to me, my best friend Pluto. Pluto dies natural causes, you know, dialysis. And he told me he'll take care of my son. So his son always want to be around me, drove me around. And Anthony gets pinched with me on a case in Jersey. So you jewel his house. Well, the guy brings home, at least the million dollars, $2 million diamonds. Okay. So we got there, we got the code. Somebody gives us the code to get in, get in the house, no long. All of a sudden, about 20 minutes later, I'm in there with the Irish guy Jack, back in Eddie. It was an old Westie.

Have you ever heard of them? Yeah. And Anthony Sonny is outside at Sputtle Son. And this kid, Billy, they were driving to chase the truck out there and watch out. A guy walks right in on me. And he looks at me, said, what are you doing? I said, I'm here to buy your house. For a salesman outside.

No, you're not. You got gloves on. You're here to rob my house. I just get down. Don't look at my face because I'll kill you right here. We got down. We don't get to the Garden State Parkway roadblock. So they pitch us all.

So Anthony, we go to court, go to court. Anthony can't get bail. So I go to his uncle, Pluto's brother. Gussie owns three or four major flowers by New York in New York City, Filty Rich. as you got to bail your brother out. Oh, your nephew out. He said, I'm not bailing him out.

He's a drug addict. He's this, he's that. I'm not bailing him out. I said, yes, you are. So he's around a guy named Frankie Giuliano. His brother is Sonny Giuliano, big captain in the Gambino family. I went to Frankie.

So Frankie, this guy's around you. I'm going to give you the respect first. I want him to bail this kid out. It's only $75,000. I can't put it up because if I do, you know what that does. Who brought it up? A ho-ho, how convenient, you know.

So, Gussie decides to put the money up, not put the money up. So Frankie said, I know what we do. We firebomb his florist tonight. That's okay. So we made a cocktail. We fired bomb this florist. The next day he calls me up. He said, Jimmy, I'm going to go bail Anthony out.

That's a good thing you're doing. He bailed him out. Come to find out the kid's bad. He's cooperating? Listen, you should know about this. So we go to court next time. Prosecutor Esposito and Mama County, they call the name Billy, Jack.

Jack was still there. He was on a violation for supervised release from murder, so he wasn't getting bail. And Anthony Sonny's name's not even called on a docket. A little weird, right? I go home that day. Anthony, why don't you show up the court? Leave me alone.

I'm not feeling good. I called the courts. They said it's okay. I took a pipe. I split his head wide open. Are you lying to me, and I will hit him again. He's so big. It was like hitting a stuffed animal.

And he's bleeding. Just look at me. I swear, I promise. I walk out. I go to Rudy. Rudy calls me. He says, listen. I just got a friend.

He's Jersey. That's us. We're jerseys. We're jerseys. sprattles. God word, this kid's bad. Get him at, give it to him. I mean, I raised him since he's this big.

You know, it was hard. It was hard. He wouldn't get in a call with me. He knew it was coming. So here's what happened. We go back to court again. He don't show up. Second time.

Esposito, the prosecutor, a piece of shit. He don't even say a word. Then the kid Billy stands up, says, Then he only say a word. So now at this point, I am sure he's bad. Why wouldn't they at least have him go into court? Well, they pulled a bail. So I knew he bad. So at that point, I put a team together, and they got him in a car.

They took him the owlhead park. You go to go to the show, Anthony saw him. And they killed him right there, left him there. We go back to court a few weeks later. Prosecutor says, Your Honor, Mr. Saarney's not here today because Mr. Seraco decided that he shouldn't be here today. Judge, I don't understand. And the kid Billy's lawyer stood up, said, Your Honor, I'm asking my client to be released off this case because he never entered the premises. And his only witness is Anthony Sardy, and he's not here today to prove himself.

Esposito stood up and says, if you're willing to testify, do you sign the car? while Jimmy and Jack went in the house, I'll be happy to give you immunity. But you know what will happen, Mr. Billy? You'll wind it with a bullet in the back of your head because Mr. Sirucco don't care. He'll put it in the back of your head like this. My father's there.

My father loved the kid there out there. He's nuts. This guy. I don't know what he's saying, Dad. You know, one thing I've been good at is putting off doctor's appointments. As soon as he come out, who comes running out, Sonny, Olm's Riviera door, grabs a baseball bat, goes right in toward my brother. I stop right there. I said, what a mistake you made. He's seen me. Boom, my son of him. He rolled. You ever see a race horse falls fall and roll? That's where he looked like. and then I shot at the other brothers they got in the house. So I take off all over the radio. It's coming over to scanner. They locked my brother up. He told them my brother shot them.

He didn't want to tell him it was me. He knows he would have a major problem. There's no gun with you, brother. They don't find a gun. The second appearance. He walked in court with his crutches. That's not the man that hit me. Prosecutor gave me a look like you wouldn't believe.

it's really, I hate him. So now you think the kid learns his lesson? Three months later, you know, he does? He runs away with her. And they got married and they're happily two kids.

And I said, Danny, I need to know where Sunny is immediately. Oh, I don't know. Danny, I'm going to tell you right now. I'm going to kill you right here.

I'm sure I kill you right now. How quick he got his sister on the phone. Another one on the phone, they gave me the address. It was on Fowler Capital Boulevard. It was a townhouse. It was all attached. The end one. Made it easier for me.

So we call it a boogie boy. As frankly, what's said for me? He says, I'll tell you what. it transports. There should be a couple keys of the truck. That would probably work. I'll take care of it. So it gives me the information.

We sat on a guy also. We pull him all over, poses, cops. He's in a van. We push him over. We take him. He was no big guy, nothing. And there was boxes inside the van. You know, I can buy a new suit that zip up bags.

They all four of them. There was no drugs in there. So I get his brief case. And inside I had an album, all little naked boys. When I seen that, I told Anthony Mussels, yes, he aside of this kid, take hold of him. He will not see again. He will not be able to see again if he lived.

Took both his eyes. We blind them. And then he got a beat and you wouldn't believe. One point, he just looked and I said, please just kill us. Let me out of my measure. Kill me. No, no, we're not done with you.

We did dump on my St. John's Cemetery. But like I told the FBI, when I profit, I said, I don't know. He's dead or alive. So they covered being in every way. They put that in there, you know. I made sure I was covered 100%. Ain't nobody sneaking up on me. And you never heard back whether he...

Nope. I gave his name. I gave everything. The address, because we took a bite outside his house. Right. What else? So then I went back, wait a minute, then I went back, I called for Boogie Boy. I said, Frankie, I need to see you at the club.

And I told Rudy, I said, do it. What was supposed to be there was not there. He said, well, we're going to tax him. So I'm going to tax him. He's right. So when he got there, I said, listen, I took care of that thing. But what you promised me, he wasn't there. So two keys, you look at maybe six.

60 grand, so I'll expect the money in the morning. I don't have that kind of money. I don't give it shit, but you got to put your daughter on the corner to get my money. Go get my fucking money. I was campaign anymore clear. The next morning, he was there. He did ask me to take 50, and I took 50, I think it was. So I gave Rudy 10, and I took 40, and I gave the guys for me a couple thousand each.

But he'll never do it again. That's the good thing. If he lived. I don't know. Yeah. I mean, the way Pluto, I don't know, Pluto, anti-mussels was in him. He went out. Antibus was like, he could hit.

He had a guy one time, he popped the side of his eye out. He caught him in Temple, his iPod. That's how baby, juiced up all the time. And then another time I shot a guy, a couple of people I shot, one was a fat-addled homes. We owned after I was together. He was a killer. I told him, you keep your junk money,

blow deal, whatever you want to call it. As you keep the blow money, and I'll keep the gamma machines in the back, you keep your liquor money and everything. Okay. So come the Super Bowl time, they have these square boxes on the wall. I don't know if you haven't played them.

A box. You pick a box. Okay. So he was short, some boxes to get it, you know, fill it up. He called me, I made all the guys for the grocery shop. All my house, had a big house, big party there to buy boxes, $100 each. So they want their numbers.

You know, you want to know your number to root it in. I call a lawyer. I'm busy. Where jam? Hanged up. No problem. I wait. About 20 minutes later, Christine Persico, I call, answers the phone.

Let's call my Persico, the Colombo boss's niece. That's Christine, and put Ronald on the phone. He said to hang up on you. So did he? Okay. So I got Batman sitting asses. Come on. drive me.

Walked in the after hours, pushed the door open. He's standing right there. This is about 70 people in the room. I let him up. He lived. But I didn't want to kill him. I didn't. I did like the guy a little bit.

You know, I was going out with his sister at the time. Okay. He didn't tell him. He knew better. He knew better. Well, why is he talking to you like that? to begin with. Thank you.

You know, about what you did was okay. No, but that you don't understand. What's wrong with these guys? He knows I'm capable of that. Right. You know, he knows I'm okay. He's seen me using it. Why would you talk to be like that?

I'm not going to just lay down and, you know, let you abuse me. Okay. So how much money are you making at this point? Because every time you turn around, you're like, ah, we owned a tow truck company. We owned this. Oh, no, I was well off. Right. I was well off.

So at this point, from your legitimate businesses, I mean, can't you just survive off the legitimate stuff? It's not fun. Matt, let me tell you, Matt, I watch your interviews. You know what it's like when you make the first million. Yeah. Then you want to go to $2 million. Then you want to buy another house. Then you just think, you know, I'm just so good at this.

Why would I stop? Same thing. I'm in the audible business. I could retire tomorrow. And I tell you, retire, I mean retire. For what? Right. You know, how do I give this up? This is something somebody's dying to have. Same thing then. My bookmaking, my average week, I made $5,000. Loan shark, an average week, 10 grand. Not counting all the extortion.

Not counting all the drug deals I'm shaking down that were robbing. I mean, I'll tell you, a score. we did. You'll like it because you look like a borer fraud guy. This was about this guy Sawy Rosenthal his name was, that's right. These names?

Nice Jewish boy. So he was a degenerate gambler. He worked for electronic company that would like he was a salesman pretty much. You know, like he had

Harriers, he supplied theirs. So, he was so jammed up on me. I said, I want my money. I had a house at Long Beach. Cheapest house is $2 million, so I knew I had a safety that. So I need my money. I want my money. So he works for a company in Jersey that supplies

Okay. He's not a guy you want to. be around you'll make a three dollars he wants two dollars and eighty cents we will not get along right you know i know no someone else will go i know it so i get a hold of this mark anton his name was he had a boulevard medical center on Howard beach ohzum park and he used to i know they played games with the fake insurance claims and this and that so i go see him and he said listen all the people, you know, all the tow truck drivers, all the collision shops, everybody you bring me, I'll give you $2,000 each. Now I'm thinking, okay, I'm going to feel them out, hear the whole

conversation and see what I'm going to benefit. I ain't be nobody's errand boy to go get you a customer. I said, Mark, look at me, downtown Brooklyn on 6th Avenue. We got a 7th Avenue, we got a hospital called Methodist. We own the security. They do all the bookmaking. for me, loan shark. X-ray technicians all borrow money off me. I could get everybody out of the hospital. But they're not going to drive all the way to Queens. So I talked him and P.S. Newman into a sit-down,

and we opened one right down the block in the hospital. I was taking them out of the visitor room. There's an emergency room. We were walking them right out of the entire place. Why you got away in line? We could do the same thing there. I had a lawyer there ready to sign them up. He gave me $2,000.

my first quarter earning just for Bullerard Medical on 6th Avenue 9th Street was straight of 50,000. I end. I said, I don't want the Bob no more. Benny's reached out to be, you got a report to this is where you belong. Then I got the Gambino, not the Gambino's. The Columbo's want me, Wild Bill. You know, no, Billy Jr. You don't know.

They wanted me, and then Louis Ha'all for the Bonano family. They wanted me. I was like, if Vinny, Vinny goes away, I'll stay right here, his medical center for, and all of a sudden, in no time, they just picked me up on a charge. I didn't even do. What was the charge? Extortion.

What, for, they had some kind of proof. When I got locked up for the, um, went away, wait, when I went to Fort Dix for the hijacking case with Dickie and Lenny, there was a guy working for me named Jimmy Masciato. And he did, okay, go over there. He's got a whole load of dresses or radios. Go pick him up, sell them, or sweat it. Did all the work.

The whole warehouse is bogged down. Why ain't he getting arrested? He'd get arrested. So when I came home, I pulled up his block to try to talk to him. See, you know, did they bother you, what's going on? As soon as I see him, he ran in a house, locked the door. The next morning they came to my house and arrested me. Okay. Still, how's that extortion?

He said, I threatened him. Never said a word to him. So, all my good daughters, never said a word to the guy. That's what I'm saying. They do what they want. That was their way to get me in and say, okay, we got all the Decavercanty's cooperating. You got the boss all the way down to nobody's all cooperate against you. Here's your chance.

And I told them where to go. Nine months later, I was in there with a guy named Joey Flower. is Lucchese boss. Comes over, draws the newspaper, over. Vinnie Palermo, singing to the feds, my boss,

and been wearing a wire for... For years, a year, 18 months, whatever, it doesn't matter, you're on it. Anthony Capel, singing the feds, we went and did work together.

It's like me and you went and robbed that bank. Right. Anthony's singing. It's not good for you. Ralphie Garino robbed the World Trade Center. Me and him did a many things together.

He flipped. All of them did. Now I'm bad on, I'm still staying strong. That's a mistake. It was because I had, there was nobody else really. They wanted junior. They wanted Joey Messina, bosses. Right.

And then finally I made a deal. I made, I made a deal. I went in and in the middle of the profit, they said, stop right there. We're going to have you moved out right away. They will get you with sex. I was secure, Jimmy. You'll be relaxed. Suddenly, they're showing up with McDonald's for you.

McDonald's, chicken parmesan. I know you like Starbucks. Oh, they were, you know, they were at jail at least. They come spend a week out in Jersey and just have me out and I visit them all week. You know, they. Can you dive into a little bit more like the deal? Like, what is your thought process? Like, what are you facing?

Like, what does this kind of? Yeah, what is your lawyer, does you, I'm assuming your lawyer negotiate something with them. Well, yeah, I know what he wants to do. Okay, okay. So at that point, when I agree to meet with them, we sit down, we do all queen for a day, proff, it's all the same thing. Don't let nobody sugarcoat it. You're a rat once you sit with them. Yeah.

Anyone tells you diff it, like John Gotti Jr. He's not a rat. He sat with the feds at 99 and 2001. Ted Otto, who's who he sat with, that old. Get me no squat. So when they sat with you, they don't profit, they don't guarantee you nothing.

Right. They knew about the murders already. You know, it was like, I was just filling in me piece of puzzles. They knew about everything already. They had everybody else to tell them. So they said,

you're going to plead guilty to zero to life. And depending on your cooperation, you get a weapon zero to life, plus super rise release. And I gave them everything. and my lawyer said, you're going to probably do about five, six years. And I says, that's no big deal on me.

I got 15, 20, Enzo. And that was it. You're going to come out with a clean slate. And that's what I wanted. My mom and dad were killing an automobile wreck. So at that point, Matt, who am I coming home to? Now, imagine if I want to do keep it real, because to me it was the worst thing in the world to ever become.

to me. And I'll say it. For me to keep it real, I would have got 30 years, maybe. I was 40 years old. If I come out alive. These are murders, too. You may have done life.

You may have gotten life. Yeah. They threatened my sister. They went to our house and said they're going to seek the death penalty. You know, but they ain't getting it on mob, the guys. I know that.

That's what I'm saying. For me to stay in and say, I'm going to save my name and be a stand-up guy. Here's the problem. When I got in there, nine months after all the decaver canty guys flipped, nobody even wanted to look at me. You know, why? They all flipped.

Yeah. So they said, oh, he's a jersey guy? He's bad. He's bad. Nobody will even look at me. Nine months I did, I was by myself. I didn't care. I wasn't afraid of nobody was going to be bothered, bothered.

But I felt it. I was an outcast. Like, yeah, they treat the eggs and they treat the, you know, the rats. I would be treated like an outcast and I'm saying, here it is, I'm not doing nothing wrong. Right. I did it. Joey Messina, they all went to bat for me.

At that point, I told, I called up Stuart Grossman, my lawyer. As you know what, Stewie, I'm done. And when I went in, right away, they took, they boomed me out of it right away. Put a done lot bag. I'm on the middle population. Lockdown, lockdown. All inmates, then they come in a unit. Everybody on the floor was an open part.

MDC, MCC, it was, I've been in both of them. Lockedown, and they grabbed me, put a dumblocked bag over my head, and that's called me out. Everybody's scream and curse. Now, they could have called me

to a lieutenant's office. Medical. Yeah. That was embarrassing. You know, then you're in an elevator, the dumb lock bag stole over your head. Then they stop at the floor, and two, they must have been,

again, short time is, you know, they allowed to walk around. went to get on the other. They shoved them back. And they brought me to the hole. I laid a whole couple of months. So how often, how long does the debriefing take? Or do they do it?

Sorry, do they do, you said they did it there for a little bit. Then they moved you and then they did it. Did you get released or were you in a separate prison? No, they weren't released from me. No, no. Were you in a separate prison? I never got bailed my whole life. I have a question too.

And when you're kind of, I think it's proffering, you're telling them everything. Like, do they have like, hey, we want to know about this? Or do they say, okay, go ahead. Just start talking. Just start telling me everything. They have certain things they want to know. Are there specific people that they want to know about? They already, or they feel like they knew about a lot.

A lot of stuff they already know. They had it all lined out. The whole family went down. I was the last. And if I don't have junior and them, probably I have nothing. Right. I'll die in there. So that was the only chance I had was whatever I had.

There were no more decavalcate. There was nothing left. Is this the one that Seamus worked? Seamus came on in 98. He helped Ralph Hugo Arino, the guy to rob the World Trade Center. And then he flipped Anthony Capel. Anthony Capo is what did the most damage, because when we killed Fred Weiss for John Gotti,

Anthony Capel gave them that. And that Fred Weiss murder probably brought down at least 20 guys. Okay. All right. So what, you know, Gene, Beorello. Yeah, I know, Gene. He just text me. Am I saying that wrong?

Okay, that's what I'm saying. That's what he said. You're in, he's in a special Wittsack unit as me. Okay. Yeah, Jane was in the same unit. Then Sammy came in when I was ready to leave, and that's how to have the argument with Sammy. No, well, I didn't know there was an argument with Sallie. Yeah, Because what happens they do is when they come in, you come in, say, for example, they won't use your name it.

You'll be MC. So, show your pictures around. Are you okay with this guy? Yeah, you can look at myself. I know it was. But Sammy's completely bald. He has no hair. I think he's a lupus, he was telling him.

And he came in myself, and he was in there for a week. And he's over there babbling about John's big mouth, John Diss, John that. I said, can I ask you something? He says, yeah. John had a big mouth. You knew he was going to get you in trouble. He's like a rat, you call him, right? Why didn't you kill him?

Right? He's not afraid to kill people. Yeah. He's a boss. You can't kill a boss. I said, what the hell is Paul Castellano? You need to talk to me the rest of this day. Really?

Plus, you're also not supposed to rat. You're doing that. So, I mean, there's all kinds of things you're willing to do. He's trying to justify what he's doing. There is no justify. And me, I had all the bosses flip on me. Last guy standing. Like Johnny Airline got on there and said, you can't call Jimmy a riot.

They all flipped on him. He was the last, but still, I still sat with the feds. That's enough to me. Oh, yeah. And Ford Dicks, we were checking guys in, checking their paperwork. And I was watching one of your podcasts. They make them fake PSIs. Yeah.

You got to walk them with the cop out right to the counselor's office. Had them hand in and wait to come out with the new cop, PSI. Yeah, I've made, yeah, I've changed people's paperwork in prison. So what I was going to say was, like, guys will be like, oh, you're a rat. Does it bother you? I had somebody with them. Doesn't bother you to be called a rat? And I'm like, no.

I mean, you can't cooperate and then to get upset when someone. someone calls you a rat or a snitcher. Like, it is what it is. I had to, I had to weigh the respect of my fellow inmates, you know, their respect against 20 years of freedom. Like, there wasn't, to me, that wasn't a problem at all. I'll take the freedom. I don't fucking, you can call me.

Well, I'm going to call you a rat the rest of your fucking life. I'm good with it. I'll wear a shirt. I'll wear a shirt that says rat. Did you see, did Wade show you the shirt he had made? Don't ride on me or something? No, no. Yeah, he had a shirt that said,

He mentors the kids. He spends time with them. I really, as I spoke to him, the day before they arrested him, we talked about doing a show. And I see, I loved it because he was John Gotti's right here. Man, and I was John Gotti's enemy. So could you think of him?

a better combination. All right. So we talked about and I said, I really believe he changed his whole life. He had me to fooled. He had me, I hope it's all wrong and he gets out. But it's like Sammy the Bull.

Let my son go, my daughter go, this or that. And then if he calls FBI friends, no. They don't want to egg on their face. They got what they want out of him. They got the Teflon Don. have to do is talk to people or make or comment on things that are going on, you know, relevant things that are going on with a murder investigation or the mob or anything. It doesn't matter. He doesn't want to work and wait for those things. He wants immediate gratification. No patience. No. It's horrible because he's so overwhelmingly entertaining. He really is. And he's got a huge couple of people that like him. Yeah. And he's sharp.

He's not stupid. He's sharp. He can really... And he knows how to paroch Joey Will you know all. He knows that. And that's really supposed to do. Start the flame. You know, more views, more.

Tommy used to work for Joey. It's funny, too, because Tommy's probably. a buck 45 but he was basically and he said i bring somebody with me and he helped me run numbers and collected for him and he's like i mean i'm not going to hurt anybody you know he's like but i got a guy's that with me i'm just doing the number collecting the numbers passing out tickets whatever and uh so when merlino shows up at coleman at the low uh Tommy's there and he hasn't seen him in a long time right he's like hey what's up they're like hey Tommy's already got shoes for him no he didn't have shoes for him merlino was upset about that

by the way. Because he expect, yeah, exactly. So he, but he's already got all this shower slides. He's got his lock. He's got a whole food, everything. And, and the, there's a bunch of, there was a bunch of former mobster guys that are there. And I don't know if they all put in or whatever, but I think Tommy bought everything. Gives it to Merlino, talks to him, hey, where you been?

Whatever. And, uh, so they're hanging out. And so. Tommy knows I cooperated. Like he, and I'm leaving in a few months. And so I'm at a table. I'm sitting,

Tommy and I are sitting down eating. And Merlino looks or is coming. And he looks at, he's like, he's like, hey, Tommy, what's up? And he's coming. And I said,

I said, I'm going to get going. And he goes, no, no, no, you're okay. You're okay. You're with me. It's fine. He's all, he's just don't say anything. He's don't joke around. Because, you know, I'll joke around.

I'll say some shit. You can break up in half. No, I understand. But I'm not, you know, I'm also leaving to a halfway house. I want to go home. Yeah, you're on. So, but he comes and he sits down and, and we all eat. He's like, oh, hey, this is my friend, you know, Cox and, hey, what's up?

And we talk. And we eat, and I don't really say, I don't say anything. He complains the entire fucking time about every, this mobster. He's talking about this guy. He's just a miserable person. He's like an old lady. He is. And so, and so we eat.

and everything, they're all talking. I don't really say anything. I eat. I leave. Probably maybe a week later, I'm walking with Tommy. And Merlino is just now sitting down. He's like, hey, Tommy, sit down. And I'm like, eh, I'm going to go sit over here.

He's like, no, motherfucker. You got to come. Like, you have to come super. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You can't walk away now. You sat with you. You know, and I'm like, fuck. So I sit down.

Hey, it was okay. And so anyway, that whole thing happens. I want to say there was another time that I think we sat down for five minutes and he got up or something like that. But later, I tell that story. And then Merlino, he hears the story. And then he does a whole podcast on, I never fucking sat with that rat motherfucker. I never fucking, he does a whole thing. And I'm thinking, he did sit with me. So, so anyway, so it's been like a, he's mentioned it a couple times. Well, then another thing that happens is that this was literally, I'd say, two, three weeks ago. I have a buddy named Greg.

And Greg is at the, the breakers. You know, the breakers? It's a really nice, expensive hotel in, where is it? Somewhere, somewhere, somewhere, yeah, in Boca or Palm Beach, somewhere down there. So he's down there and he knows me and he saw Marlino.

And he goes up to him and he said, hey, he said, hey, you're Joey Merlino. He said, yeah, what's up? He said, yeah, he said, I know a, a, He goes, I know a famous YouTuber. He goes, oh, yeah. And he goes, yeah, Matt Cox. And he goes, and you're bragging about that?

And he goes, what? Yeah, he's got a bunch of sobri. Yeah, he does try me. He's like, he's like, that motherfucker, he's, when he said, he said, he goes, he's a fucking rat and he's fucking gay. And he goes, he goes, well, now he's, he's not gay. He's, I've had dinner with he and his wife several times. I know he's not gay.

I said, of course I know he hates him. I'm dying laughing. I'm like, this is fucking hilarious. I said, he must have been so pissed. He was, oh, he was fucking furious, bro. So. He didn't he can do shit, though. No, I don't.

He ran into Chris Pachial by Abby Dico kid. And Chris will crush him. Chris is strong as an ox. He was a fair to Whitsack, would be too. And Chris, Joey Molina was sitting in front of him. and he said, oh, I got this rat shit behind me. Chris says, go ahead, say it again. I'll stomp you into the ground.

He didn't even answer, Chris. Yeah. I'm easy. No, he won't. No, I don't expect him. And then he runs about, you know, oh, well, Sonny Francis. Sunny Francis, my father used to brag about him. A man, man, they're talking.

He's a real hardcore gangster. And then he calls that old man a rat. He come out at 99. probably half senile. If his son did cooperate, you know, they'll call that guy a rat. You know, and then he said, well, if you sit with him, you're right. Well, you sat with Philly Faye, Philly Casal.

You sat with him. You shook him down for money, and he was a 14 girl he was charged with. It's public news. You're shaking him down, though. Yeah, he's not a happy person. And he and Gene, fuck, boy, they go out. He would rob his own mother's pocketbook and help her look for it. They used to call him the lizard in jail.

Watch his eyes. They blink every second and his tongue comes out. They used to call him the lizard, the Geico Man. That's what they called him. Can you tell me about the Witsack where they're held you and when you were sent it? They only have five units for us. Manhattan, they got one on the third floor as a hellhole. And then they got one of Ferretin.

It's really nice. I mean, you got your own room. Get your own toilet bowl seat. Not just cast iron. You got a medicine chest. You got your own real bed. You know, you got color TV, cable, remote control. We got pool tables.

We fed ourselves pretty much. I was the head cook. There's like 40 guys. 30 in our tan on there. And we ate like kings in there. We really did. And the cop that was in there, and they was molder. He used to be a head cook at Tosso.

Mahal for Trump, that guy could cook. We make cakes. We make cheesecake. We made everything. Pizas. We ate like cakes. We had movies coming in Friday night for Blockbuster back then. Like four or five new releases coming in.

And then from there, I went back to MCC because I had to go back for a grand jury that I was supposed to be on. But the guy pled guilty. So they brought me back then, Ferreton. Then they got one in Minnesota. It's an old, old jail. But they all love it. Like guys doing life in there. Yeah.

They love it. They said, they feed you there. Because nobody wants to be that so old and dirty. Yeah. Then you got one in Florida, Tallahassee. Yeah. Tallahasse. And then you got one in Minnesota, Minnesota.

Odersville. Odysville is pretty good. That's where they got, that's where they had. to the Capitol at. They wouldn't put being him together. No. There'll be no love there. So what happened when you eventually,

but you were basically held there for five years? Yeah. And so what happened at some point? At some point, they said to me, they said, Jimmy, we're going to want you on a couple cases. There's some case that a guy that came from Italy did a piece of work, and we sent him back to Italy, you know,

that's the best way to take a zip. Give him a hundred thousand, clip somebody, put him back on a plane, he's gone. Nobody will know them or is. So they said that they might need me on that one. They kept me out on bail for nine years. When I got out of jail, I got out on bail.

Where do you go? Into the program, into the phase two. New name. I went to San Antonio. I was there three days. I got arrested. For what? I hit him two Spanish guys.

I was coming out of Hooters. On a river walk, I don't know if you know where it is. No, but I'm not. And I had a couple of drinks, and the girl was pretty, and she asked me to walk into a car. You know, I was being a good guy, walking her to a car. So I understand Spanish a little bit because I speak Italian. So when they said something in Spanish,

and then I turned around, I told them where to go, and we just started going. And the next thing I know, I got a nightstick caught behind me, and then I hit him, and I turned out he taser being the side. And they bought me, you know, they locked all three of us up. But the girl did come to the police station. We were just walking. They started up with us.

Right. So one of the Mexican guys had a warrant, and the other one was an illegal immigrant. So, but when Diego come in to Marshal, he says, that's it, Jimmy, you blew your security. So when they fingerprint me, it says, contact U.S. Marshals or United States Attorney General's office. Yeah, so once they fingerprint, it'll be like,

who the hell are you? I said, I don't even know. I don't know yet. Right. It's Nicholas Savino, my name there. I said, I don't even know why I am, to be honest, so they have to pick you up and move you somewhere else. So Diego comes walking in and he said, let him out.

So they let me out of itself. The two Hispanic guys, like, why is he getting out? He drew the first punch. And I'm giving him a finger, you know. And Diego said, come on, you're going. They bought me to Arkansas. So they brought you to Arkansas. Did they change your name or no?

Yeah. And my name again. I was James Capetto. And then I'm in Arkansas. I got Italian restaurants. I opened all the wing shack at grills. I got seven of them. I'm doing great.

And then I decide to import Italian ice. It's so hot out there. Downtown Little Rock, I said, I put a girl on every three corners. Nice bikini, pretty girl, $5 in ice. That cost me 30, 40 cents. Right.

I had lines, lines, lines. So all of a sudden, the news comes, Channel 7, films. James Scopetto, He's Italian ice to Arkansas. James, what do you got to say? We're not supposed to be no cameras. Yeah.

So I got to answer. It's all over the Internet. They found me. So they sent a crew down to kill me. Oh, are you... Oh, I'll tell you the story. Who? It was the Gambitos crew.

Okay. So what happened was I went for a stress test that day. So my wife's in there. I had Scarpettos Italian restaurant inside the river market. They got like in a more, like in a more Italian, Chinese, I had Scarpettles. She's in there. These three guys kept coming in.

She could tell. She's an Arkansas girl. She sees my friends come down and see me. She knows what they look like. She got spooked right away. Then the boy's head guy comes in. He's putting a meet in the cabinet because she's, and she's being on the county.

He says, hey, those guys outside are asking a lot of questions about your husband. Is his real name Jimmy instead of James from Brooklyn? Boy, they're really incognito, huh? They're really being. They asked the boss that guy. He's going out. I figured he wouldn't tell my ex. So he tells her, and she's watching them, and they're sitting in the middle of it,

but just keep watching. I'll stay in looking at all the doors. She goes across the street, you know, those police huts. She, instead of calling me, I'll catch him. Right. She calls the police huts. She goes over there and tells them, comes in the she's, because she comes in that river market. It's called the river market in Little Rock.

Their whole big party's constant. When they're seen them come in, I'll come in with the cop and her pointing to them, they got out, book to the back door. He calls the backup. He goes to the back door. They're pulling away in a yellow station wagon with brown panels like National Land Poolway, Gage, old.

He's in hotwire. Old time isn't that a hot wire, you know. And the plate on it was stolen and the car was stolen. They got away. So that right away, the next day I was out of there. They had me back in Washington. This is with Burra. Gene was telling you, there's a place called the Safe House.

They bring this stuff in Washington. It's really under the White House. It's like a block away but it's underneath, underground. And they change your name, your identities, they wash your prints. They wash everything. Okay. What happens to the chicken huts and all your restaurants? I sold them all.

Okay. Sold them all. And let me tell you, the bar, then I said, listen, I have a mortgage on my home and all. Right. They said, don't worry about it. We'll file bankruptcy for it. So the restaurant's my friend, Pauli, not my friend, my niece is future husband.

I say, I'm going to give them to you. He's going to pay, you know, me, pay me. And I'm going to give you the owner to run him, but he ran them down to the ground. But the house, they just filed bankruptcy on it. The marshals do all that for you. They have lawyers for that. They file back of see, would they move you?

Now, if you got a lot of equity, they will give it to a real estate agent, sell it, and give you the rest. Right. You're never going to get all of you there. Then I went into the program, and then when I did get sentenced, nine years late, nine years. I flipped it all one. I got sentenced at Ted.

And Judge Leo Glasser, who are on the sentence, John, Sammy. Right. He sentenced me. I says, Your Honor, if you do me a favor, I've been out nine years on the hands of the U.S. Marshals, never got no trouble. I am successful. I have multiple businesses. I own multiple homes. I'm asking for one favor.

I know it's probably added in the realm. I said, I'm the president of an optimist club for children. A benefit to help children, families and needs and this and that. And I show them one of the certificates, do you say, but clippings, I became president.

I said, if you put me on probation, one of the guys that belongs as a probation officer. So I'm not going to be able to be present, I don't have the Miss Club for them more. But I understand if you got to give me probation, Your Honor, I was working them. You know, but I was being sincere, though. I said, I'm saying.

It's all true. It's just miscellaneous. No, the truth was, I still did it. I still did a lot of help. I took a lot of kids. I put them in the military. Kids are troubled youth. The judge would give them to me.

And I would, in the work at the car dealerships, I'd put a couple of one kid at him. I put him in the military. Another kid, Benny, I put him in a military. Another kid, he went bad on drugs again. But I did a lot for children. And you know what he did? Leo Glass, so he's seen all the article, do newspaper articles.

And how much I donated and you turned around. He says, I'm not giving you no supervised release. You just continue what you're doing. I got a great report. You as Marshals, you got no trouble. You got a clean, squeaky, clean driver's license. You never got no trouble. I got a great report from PSI report.

You've pre-sentence interview. Great report. You're married. You have three beautiful girls. I'm just going to tell you, he got a ton of served. Good luck, you have no probation. He gave me a big fine. And then I had my probation violation judge,

Judge Fred Block. Gene talks about him. He was a fair man. Even when I got pitched on a Fort Dick's case, I was first one to plead guilty. After we got arrested, I was the only one didn't get bail. I had a 47, Nikki Carrazo, Letty De Maria.

They get bail. I get no bail. At that point, I know I'm dead at the right on tape. I took the first place. They come out of me with 41 to 48 months. I just take it. I gave me 47. Okay.

Well, so you get out. Halfway house in 2009 around June. No, no, but in 2010, you were out all the way until 2010. You get your five-year. I was in the program in the Witsack under my new name. Right. So that's 2010. you're you got a fine you're like oh no probation what have you since then what did what did you do

then since then even before i went and got sentenced i was in the automobile business i own restaurants i sold them all and then i went into the automobile business and i never changed first i went to work for dsson up in gainville georgia and uh this is great and i was able to sell Right. You never sold the call in my life. I walk in a dealership, a Jewish guy, Stephen. I walk in, he said, where are you from with that accident? They said, Brooklyn.

So am I. You should look at them to sell cars? I'll make you a car, something. Sit down. Here's your desk. I hide the same day. The following month, leading salesman, Zach Caruso, 35 cars.

Then I said, you know what? I'm not doing it. I stood with them about five years. Learned every avenue, ins and, out, financing, banks, what they like, the good spots, what they, they'll take a guy with a repo, who would take, I got it all written down. I open my own lot. 16 years later, still there, I'm on my third one, going on my fourth one, and then I'm retiring.

I'm going to have everybody run them. I'll go on my disability. Your disability? Oh, yeah. Why are you disabled? Do I look normal to you? No. No.

No, listen, when they tried to kill me, I got a plate in my head. Yeah, I got some medical issues. At night, they tried to kill me. They left me for dead to get me. And I was... Oh, okay. I didn't know. Yeah, yeah.

I got to prove right away. Okay. I was in a coma nine days. I came out of my old boy, so I was paralyzed. I have a question, which is you... You... Listen. I don't want to upset you or insult you or anything.

You can't. Okay. That's why they call me easy. Okay. You know, you have a certain mobster vibe to you. Do people ever come in and like you're like, hey, how are you doing? Dude, they ever say, this guy. He says it's like a mobster. Like, does that ever happen? You know, I'm glad you said that because we're going to have some laughs. Listen to me. In the town, Arkansas, right?

I mean, you've got to stick out like a sort of thumb. Yes. So I meet my ex-wife's father. he lives in the country. He's a farmer. Right. I get out to over rolls and his dad. And I couldn't understand a word he was saying. I couldn't understand the word he was saying.

So I see in his yard he's got a bunch of cones. You know, raccoons, he skins them and makes money. I get $2 a one. I trap them. I get $2 in them. I'm saying, where the hell am I? I got to get out of you. So I moved to a town called Joe.

Jonesboro, it's busy. It's, it's busy. My town, you got everything. You know, I said, I couldn't get along. Everybody's like, where are you from? One old old age? Where are you from Mars? So, but now, everybody, my town loves me.

I mean, literally. I mean, I do a lot for the town. I love Jonesboro. I will stay there. There's a little. Now, when I leave here, I'll put my overalls on, my straw hammer, between my cheek and gum.

No. I go back there just like this, and they treat me great. But, dude, nobody ever comes in and says, well, you sound like a mobster. All the time. All the time.

How funny is that to you? And I got one of the biggest houses in that. Right. In where I live. So they called the Godfather House. My daughter's friends on their Light Tree 60, they put Zach's graveyard. But these people know,

but these people at this point, over the years, They always suspected it. Right. And I denied it for 20 years until my wife, Dorn and Doris blew it up to my girls. Right.

At that point, then it came out. Everybody says, I knew it, I knew it, I knew it. You know. He's all like, I'm so... Now, like, people coming out on my book. My book, The Hit Man O'T Tell All book, to sign copies, taking pictures with people. Isn't it, isn't it,

listen, jump back to the 90s. Like, you and I, I mean, not that I'm saying I'm in the same category, but in the 90s, you hid that shit permanently because people walk away from you. I fast forward to 2020, me getting out of prison, I had no idea. People now, they want selfies. They want pictures. They want you to sign. They want your book. And I'm thinking in the 90s, that would have never happened.

Like that's not, it just things change so much over the course of 20 some odd years. It just, it's back. It's amazing. Yeah. People stop me. I get 20 friend requests a day at least. That's nuts. Yeah.

I don't know who's who. I don't know. I just approve all. I don't care. What are they going to do to be? Ain't nobody coming after. Like, people ask, they all actually, like they all actually once I came out and did this, everybody else, aren't you scared?

Ain't you look over your show? No, I still go to New York. Like Joey Williams says, oh, we can go anywhere. I got news for you, kid. I go everywhere and then some. Okay? You know, he goes, Oka, I go on cruises.

I go to New York three times a year. I go everywhere. Atlantic City. Vegas. I have never. Here's the thing. I had a guy the other day that it had come out, that he had cooperated.

and he's like, bro, and he was upset. And he was like, he's like, man. A mom guy? No, no, it's just a street guy. But somebody was making videos and giving him a hard time. And he sat there and he's like, he's like, bro, dude, I just, boy, he's like, anybody fucking ever says anything to me, bro, I'll fucking, I'll crack him. Has anybody ever say anything to you?

And I went, no. He's like, what do you mean? I said, no. I said, think about it. I brag about it. You don't hide it. I don't sugarcoat it. I said, I've never.

I don't even give an excuse. I don't do anything. This is why? Because I didn't want to go to fucking prison. Simple as that. And I said, nobody. And I mean, every time I go out, if I go out to dinner right now, somebody will recognize me. If I spend three or four hours, if I walk through the airport, five or six people will fucking shake my hand and want to take pictures.

Nobody has ever come up to me and said, well, you know, you're a fucking rat. Not one fucking person. And nobody said it to me, maybe because they were scared like, but nobody's scared of me. I'm as soft as cotton. But they still see you're in prison, you know, you know. But they just, I mean, nobody ever, like, I always thought that might happen. It is fighting words. It's a say to a guy.

To me, it's fighting words. Yeah. I just laugh. If somebody said it to me, I'd be like, I know, right? I'd just laugh it off. Nobody's ever going to do anything. Nobody says, I mean, don't want. Now, I got people on the podcast, say things.

Oh, everybody's brave. I came out with Zach Caruso. I was just trying to shield myself. You know, I didn't need to make the money. need to have my name out there. But at that point, a lot of people said, that should be easy. That should be easy.

Then finally, Johnny A-Ly did a segment with my publisher and said, yes, I know him. He was an adversary to us, especially the Gambinos. He was always a problem to us. But, I mean, let's face it. Like, all the people, anybody would ever have been upset with you, they're gone. They're either in prison or they're just gone. Half of them can't afford the toll to get out of the Staten Island to get up to pay the bridge. They were all broke.

They were all bookmakers, loan sharkers. Settling street beefs. Stupid. How do you trust anybody? Because when I flipped and I've noticed how many guys were out there, just as sea ice, they're not violent guys. So those are the ones they pick.

Tell us what's going on. Stay out there so you, whatever they're selling, blow, smoke. You know what the same? Do what you got to do, but just tell us what's going on. They were all over the street.
