Hi. Hello, friends. Another day of a day of a day of a one shot. I don't know where I was going with that. I've we've been doing these intros for a while. Yeah, so this is going to be just a quick one shot tonight. It's as usual when I run games, low rules, high chaos. Nothing really matters. It's going to be fun. And if that's not your vibe, that's chill. Some people don't play D&D like that. That's how I play D&D. And it might not be the stream for you if that's not your vibe, but it's a lot of friendship. And you should that should be your vibe. So you should stick around is what I'm saying. But but if it's if it's much I'm just I'm just setting expectations where they should be, which is stupid and chaos and love. Lots of love. That's right. This one shot kind of came out of our friend Lex aka Tantamaki on Twitter. They make some incredible homebrew subclasses, monster, all kinds of really cool shit. And they they had a subclass up that my brain said, Oh, we have to do something with this and then now here we are. I'm not going to give it away until the end because I think it's going to be really fun, stupid reveal.

Yeah, that's a great job. And, oh, we aren't having Kale today. He has been drafted to expand the minds of the youths. Unfortunately, he's here in spirit with his arch nemesis, I don't know. And I will say I I set this I set this six, six. Okay. Okay. Thanks, Aaron. I did set this for like six level 13 characters and now we're at five. So if you guys all die, blame Caleb. Okay, ready?

Great. All right. If anyone else, does anyone else have anything to say before I throw us into this? Did we already cover we're looking at our sheets for the first time? Yes. Yes. The whole thing is I like the monster and then I was like, hmm, how's this going to be fun? And then I said, okay, everyone makes someone else, but no one gets to look at them until literally two seconds ago. That's right.

Before we went live, I was like, okay, look at your sheets. So they're just now figuring out what they are intentional. I swear. And partially to fuck with my friends. Yes. No, you're playing as yourselves, babies. Oh, no, but Wait, what? Why did you do this to me? We're good now.

We are who we are. Okay. All right. All right. Okay. So. It is a Sunday evening. The five of you now have just finished recording another incredibly stressful session of doom to repeat arc two. Um, Caleb unfortunately had to jump off early because he is as he is today teaching young minds and he had to go do work things. Um, but the five of you asshole.

I know. I don't be serious. Yeah, you don't you didn't get to build theory like you usually do, but it is a lot of fun. There's laughter. There's a nice chance to decompress after the stress of finding more imaginary monsters. Sergio is cackling about all the shit he's put us through. It's a good, it's a good Sunday night. Um, and then you hear something outside all of your windows. There is a sharp pop and were of what sounds like a transformer exploding. And if you were looking outside, you would see all of the lights in Los Angeles. Blink out just from one side of the city to the other.

It sweeps into darkness. And then I finally have black. Wifi. I don't get nothing more. Uh, the only lights that exist are five little pinpoints. Each of your computer screens are still up. No matter if they were connected to a wall or a battery, they're still on. You can still see each other. And as this strangeness happens, the light grows brighter and brighter until it's painfully bright and you're shielding your eyes. And in a flash, it kind of reaches its peak. What's the, Sergio, what's the, what's the equivalent of decibels, but for light?

It gets more bright and then flashes out to darkness. Many bright points, many bright points, like 67 bright points. Yes, I believe the term is lumens. Lumens, yes. Max lumens. And as you're squinting your eyes and raising your hands to deflect the light, it flashes once and all is darkness. Everyone roll me d20s. Oh, yeah. Thank you, Reggie.

You know how if it's dark, but you know someone else is in your house and you come near them and you can kind of just feel human in that direction. You can feel that. You were alone for a second and now there's something there. And knowing what you know about dungeons and dragons, describe your character, what you look like and how your appearance has changed. Okay. I want to go first, Amanda, because I'm so gathering. Okay. So in the black void that I think I'm in my apartment, I am getting tense because I am thinking I'm alone with my two cats and all of a sudden there's a presence here.

So I, I would say in going off of what I just see, I am still my five two self, but it looks like I am getting more rugged and primal, but definitely getting a little bit more bold year. Probably some of the biceps of like a little mini Thor hammers are coming out. Captain Marvel back crit America ass and thighs. Go on. Yeah. Basically, like that's, and it looks like I am, but it, I also have a loot in the old attached to me. So I am a barbarian barred class. I just have to say, I'd like to thank the individual who gave me a negative one on intelligence.

She's she's like this like speckled white dragon with like gold eyes with like the eyeliner. Okay. Yeah. That's pretty much it. All right. Sergio, let's see. Let's test. Let's test if we can hear you by having you describe your character.

I'm so perceptive. I have a, a crossbow and a halberd just really, I don't know how that works, but I've got it. Um, I think I'm like, I think the body snatched given my high deck score really up there.

And I don't know other than, yeah, I'm an elf. And I think the color, like the, the wild colors, it's, it's giving me Joseph. It's giving me, um, be who you are. It's giving me just you are like fantasy. There she is. Amazing. Yeah. Amazing.

So you've all appeared in this void of darkness. Um, it's not entirely dark and you can see that like you're all admitting kind of like a, like a white, white light glow under and under your feet. There's just nothing this again. Um, but around you there are little like bubbles that you can look into. And there's a bubble that looks like it's like Twitter and all of the nonsense that's going through. And it's just like a speed scroll of like, Oh my God, Los Angeles is dark.

What's going on? Like anytime anything weird happens in LA, everyone loses their shit. Uh, there's one for Facebook that has like a bunch of arguments. Oh, I'm going to. Um, I would say it is the following gift set of these things ranging from Roswell to Glee. Damn it. Uh, orphan black.

The first couple of seasons of the 100. I'm missing something. I'm missing. Uh, what was another show? What was another show? I'll put some wine on it in there yet. Like imagine a bunch of gifts around that. Yeah.

just speeding towards you. And as it overtakes you, you come out in this blocky, sunny world. There's a blue sky behind you, brown little blocks under, under your feet. And a little way in the distance, you can see four little blocks floating in the air. And one of them has like a, like a, some kind of punctuation mark on it. You're not really sure what it is. Mario. Is this Mario?

Are we doing Mario? Uh, and as, as you, as you walk forward in the distance, just under those four blocks, you can see these little scrunchy things. They look like portobello mushrooms with legs kind of scooting in your direction. What the hell? Holy shit. And I feel, am I by myself? No, you're all in there together.

You all get sucked. You all get like overtaken by this void of, of light and, and green. And you are in a very familiar looking video game. Ah, that I'm assuming for copyright reasons can't look too familiar. No, that's, it's, uh, it's called Marlowe. It's a video game called Marlowe. Incredible Marlowe. Incredible Marlowe cousins.

So it speeds forward and you kind of swing your sword down and block it. It's your turn. What do you want to do? Um, I'm going to stare at it and be like, you should die. I was like, you join us, but now I'll just kill you. That's much easier weapon, this shadow blade, and it deals a certain amount of, it's a finesse weapon. So I think I can use my dex, which is better.

There we go. Not very good. 12 total. Shooting back at you and kind of hits you in the chest and knocks you back against the pipe behind you. And you take Six points of damage as it kind of rockets into your chest. I haven't heard my lesson.
