I think we absolutely need to hack the summit and I think we're gonna get the protisions on with us. I think that's I think that should be a down time of it that we should do. Oh yeah oh yeah and we're gonna cut the yo-yo that they put Godzilla on and if he's up or down either way Roosevelt will drive it. That was a hard line, the yo-yo line, that was good. Thank you, thank you. It's on one of the displays, it's written. Okay, it's quickly erased, yeah, thank you. Looks like somebody could schmooze with the prostations,

somebody could try to... Okay, I have a flashback brewing. Okay. So here's my convoluted flashback brewing. Okay. So here's my convoluted flashback and ultimately it's meant to be an assist for probably Ty or someone who can talk better than Carol. But I was thinking like she brought out this photo of her family and I thought maybe she kind of looks a little bit closer at it and she was so young at the time that they passed. She didn't really know too much about her family. It's all kind of mushy in the memory.

But she notices like some of the symbols from the Prostation gear or ship or something on like her dad's jacket or something and realizes that maybe her dad had ties to what was then that the countries that became the Pr Station Force, just to kind of give some leverage in talking to them on a personal level for the team. We'll say that you spend a personnel in your squad playbook, and the next person that attempts to schmooze with the prostations will have plus one die, and I will count that as a downtime activity, I think. And I will schmooze.

Okay. You definitely had to sit through Carol talking to you, Ty, about like all the sudden memories she had about her childhood. She's never talked about it before, and it's very uninteresting. It's a sway and you have a plus one die, yeah. In a very Thai way, he presents as extremely interested because he's actually, he's actually taking in the information, no matter how boring it is, he's actually listening and he could probably recite to you the same stuff, but it just seems like just a blank stare.

This would definitely be what Sabi's helped, considering all the hacking that was happening during the attack. I'm sure that there is an open channel that Sabi may have been able to breach at the time. I think we use the same channel that we used when we talked to the people stuck in Lake Mead.

Okay. I just use that and focus it for this. Attention, attention, prostatians, this is Officer Ty Walton, also known as the Judge, I believe we just had the, uh, exquisite tet-a-tet on the battlefield, whereupon I tried to resolve things with words, in which I told you that I believed that you were doing the right thing, but going about it in the wrong way. I still hold that close to my heart, but now things are desperate. that close to my heart, but now things are desperate. Not for me, not for you, for the people down on that planet, because there are people down on that planet and I for one feel that you chose your actions because you felt that things were a mess. And now the summit wishes to use Godzilla to

do exactly what he was doing to us, on any living creature, on any planet that they seemed fit for a comrade. Now we've been told for many years that you are very different from us. They don't got a NASCAR. That? Okay, we can talk about that another time. NASCAR is on the list for why your different from us. The crew of...

Last Flag... Planted... Would very much enjoy another Tet-I-Tet. But this one more, us joining your side. Or perhaps you assisting us. And one, getting Godzilla back in a more... Domesticated position. And two, making sure these scrunkin'---s can't f--- with nobody else.

Now, if you're amenable to that, you may respond to this message. Carol tugs on his sleeve and says, Oh, tell him we have good snacks, too. And apparently we have good snacks. What? And we didn't do it because we're technically unhoused or est and very inebriated. Because of your successful role, you receive in response. This is Prostation Command.

If you believe you have a way to stop the annihilation of this species, we are willing to help you. Tell us how we can support most of most of our Mecha Squad were destroyed by you. Good job by the way. And then I go huddle up so what so how do we think they where should we put them? Want to open this up? I'm not gonna be a dictator like the seven. Mechanically just so you all understand the Prostations are offering their support. It would probably be a limited or standard effect, but it could certainly sway the tide of battle. Maybe we can put them on the people on the ground. I mean, if Godzilla is causing havoc, we're not exactly going to be in the mood to be saving civilians. We're going to on Lizard Summit duty.

Maybe the Ruskies are in charge of saving the boots on the ground. If they don't have mechs, yeah. They have a limited number of supply. Yeah, they probably have maybe one squadron's worth of mech. Do we have any leftover on our ship that are used? No, you are the only squadron currently aboard the Stratos. The rest are in orbit with the beam array. Oh, the mind I suggest we have their squadron of mechs come over here

and then we hold everyone hostage. That works for me. Yeah. Bring them. If you'd like to do this, you could use your remaining downtime activities to try to coordinate this and probably more importantly mask their arrival because they're going to be detected unless you try to find a way to keep them from being detected by the Stratos. Oh no, I was going to say, I want to use the back door I put on the zero beam to get into the summit system. I don't know, I think that could be a

choir asset. I think it can be an acquire asset. I envision it more like you're actually hacking the Stratos, not so much the zero beam. Yes, yeah, the hacking Stratos, but obviously if I need something familiar to go through, I'll go through what I took from the zero beam. But yes. Give me that roll, you'll have one D to roll for that aquire asset. Can I, can I push myself? You could, it would increase your stress. Okay. They're, they're both ones.

Oh man. My gosh. I mean, I don't mind doing it again, but I mean, I have. Short of an assist from somebody in which they will have to spend stress. I don't think I can allow it. I'll assist because this was part of, this was the thing we put together. So I will spend two stress. Do you have, what is your connection clock with Sabi?

You know that the summit's operation has redundancies upon redundancies, but you are a master hacker. You are a hacker of the people, and you are able to get through their defenses. With a six, I'll say that you have control of most things. Some of the more guarded things like life support and the anti-gravity or the gravity aboard the ship are probably harder to get access to

and would require another role. But if you need a door open, if you need the lights turned off, if you need anything that is reasonable to be able to hack, I'll say that you should be able to do it. Okay, I think that's all my downtime. And the summit is on board the Stratos? As far as you understand the summit is still aboard the Stratos. Yeah, if they weren't I feel like Peach, because Peach's came right from them

like after the fact. Cool. So I know part of our plan is to wrangle Godzilla and make sure that Godzilla doesn't take it out on the people down there. What happens when we succeed that? Like what's the plan then? Are we destroying the summit without Godzilla? Are we using Godzilla to destroy the summit? Are we hitting Godzilla with a beam again to at least incapacitate? What's the plan?

I thought we were using Godzilla to destroy the summit because then you could like, you know, pilot him through the summit back into the Stratos. Yeah. And if we get the civilians on the on the planet already in one spot, we can also can we zero beam them up? I think it kills them from what? Cool. Good. Thank you.

Thank you. I think the big laser kills people. And there are other people on the stratoes too. Like they're just straight up random batches of billions. You mean space fascists who will die for my new world order. Goodbye to the old boss. Hello to the new boss. I feel like if they had the technology

to seek out other worlds that are livable, we could probably seek out a world that is good for Godzilla and just shunt him there and put him out of our misery. Maybe there's a world where Godzilla lives with us. What if we just go back to Earth? Well, that place kind of sucks. Oh, it sucks a lot. We had the technology. It only took us a few months.

Savi, I will remind you of what you found last session. The green. Did you tell us about that? Ahhhh. You guys, I was going to say you guys were there when I got in trouble for it. I think you know, but at least that I saw a green patch. I think Earth might be worth it. I don't think it sucks as much as we think.

It sucks except for that one small patch of grass. Yes, but we've been gone for months, so maybe it's a bigger patch of grass. If it's grown back, maybe we'll just take Godzilla back there. We'll start our own sort of click there. Stop trying to, the whole thing, the whole problem is that we keep taking them with us. earlier all right also judge I just want to point this out if we go back to earth with Godzilla that's like your planet I'm not gonna lead that thing it's only one judge that's the whole legal system you'd be the judge of earth don't you try to sweet talk me with as great as a power big judge God that actual Daryl Daryl's brain was just like I could rule yeah King judge judge I knew it Daryl I knew I could get you judge the only people between judge and ruling the entire human civilization are 10 little summit members and we don't like them. Yeah. Just like we said on the tape. Oh, God, I love. Love Dr. Doom so much. It has made so much sense.

Before we get to the end of our downtime activities, there are two opportunities left. You have material and personnel. Anything else anyone want to do? You could always leave it for the upcoming mission. I would love to do another attempt at Shmoos to try to get as many folks who just remained on board to be on our side. Why don't you, I mean, if you want,

why don't you also burn a personnel to give you an extra dye in this shmooze? Okay, I never would have school with that. I love that. Yeah, we need as much as we can get. So I don't have to give that long ass speech again in case we get no need for speech. Yeah, can we just say that saving recorded that and dubbed over dubbed it over? It's like one of those things where somebody over like, hello, my name is Sergio. He's completely changed. It's just a bunch of ADR. I'm wearing the Guy Fox mask because this is different than that. So you should have at least two die for that, if not more. This is Sway. Sway. The highest one was a four.

Can I assist with my... it's like looking in a mirror so I can tell if people are lying or into it or not. You can tell if people are lying. I don't think if you can tell if people are vibing with the idea. Okay. But you can assist by spending the stress and giving another die.

Yeah, I think I'm on whatever the display is while you're talking. Sabie is just... Okay. Honed it. I'll take it. It's a... Yeah, the highest was a four. Copy that, just roll the one. Four is not bad. Here's what happens.

Sabie, you now have access to the Stratos' software, and you can finally break through the firewalls and actually send the footage of Earth that you want. You send those photos out, and you send out Ty's message to the population aboard the Stratos, explaining to them the dire situation that we're about to annihilate another species just to find a new home. And with a 4, I will say that it feels like there is a little bit of rabble

rousing going on amongst the populace. I think it might require one more roll to kind of push him over the edge, but you feel like under the right circumstances you probably have the population on your side when it comes to deciding what we need to do. You can feel that feeling of revolution bubbling under the surface. We have one more downtime activity left. If the crew is okay with it, I kind of want to do a Godzilla vibe session. Um, given all of our talk about Godzilla, what he wants,

you know, where he's gonna go next. I think she's really fixated on the fact she's never seen him eat. Like she thought she knew him pretty well and in all those dreams and visions, like just like where would this creature survive without killing everyone? Like she's just trying to see if it has wants or needs as it's in this new space. Does it feel at home? Does it feel like this is right? So she'll sit in her bunk,

holding the picture of her family with her newly uncovered backstory in one hand and then her scrapbook of Godzilla in the other hand. It just closed her eyes and and just make those noises very loudly. The most unpeaceful form of meditation I can imagine. It's not allowing you to completely understand what you experience But you you the player can maybe interpret a lot of what happens. You reach out. And now this is the third, fourth time that you've done this. And it's starting to feel like a muscle, like you are becoming familiar with the feeling of your consciousness expanding and specifically connecting with Godzilla. The emotions you are immediately hit with are confusion, anger, frustration, hit with our confusion, anger, frustration, and the strong desire to find out who did this to you. You have moments, flashes of seeing Godzilla beginning to rise up out of the rubble of this massive crater created by him in the middle of this alien city. This does not feel like home to Godzilla, and you can feel that Earth once felt like

home for Godzilla, but hasn't for a very long time. He is enraged, and you understand that he is either on or off, and when he is on, his only intention is to destroy anything that he can get his hands on, this burning anger and hatred that he has. In this moment there's something more, again, it's this feeling of Godzilla once wasn't angry and now he is and he has been for so long, he's forgotten what it even feels like to not be angry. In a way, he feels out of place, not because he's on another planet, but because there's something different about this planet.

Through his eyes, it feels different. Like, there's already something here, and Godzilla is taking up space where he shouldn't. Yeah, Carol will finish her meditation session and I think she opens her eyes and it's just that like the small like trickle of tears kind of slowly down her face. And I think some of that anger is residual and she just like punches the wall And then immediately goes out and then runs to find the rest of the crew And do you tell them what you saw? Oh, yeah She'll she'll share

Her Interpretation of all of it and mostly just the feelings and she'll like look at at ruse It's like it's like when I fail the ruse test and I'm just so mad I want to destroy the whole thing and and then and then you say yeah that's the right way but we are so mad because we can't do it or Roosevelt when when someone told you that you know right track NASCAR could be a thing and you can't turn right what are you talking about we turn left I know I know or the tie like when someone said that you were going soft just because you really liked that movie that we took you to Marley and me I like dog exactly it's that anger it's that anger.

It's that anger and he can't even remember not feeling like that. Ty's turned into the Arthur meme like his fist is just shaking right now as he brought it up again. With our downtime activities spent, the only thing left is to execute this plan, this mission to try and stop the summit. You take the time always to keep checking the Cognist Ring to see what's happening. And you're struck by an image, you see the smoke of the mushroom cloud clearing. And there in the center of this massive crater, as the sun sets on this side of the planet is Godzilla standing, roaring into

fire in his massive frame, silhouetted by the sun, somehow still alive. You see on the Cogniz stream, on the video stream, ordnance, explosions on Godzilla's back. It seems like this civilization has some form of firepower and they're doing what they can But you know that all it's doing is enraging the lizard and he turns He begins unleashing his atomic breath on the city. You know that there are maybe hours Before it's decimated by them You are able to tell that the rest of GeForce

is still orbiting the planet. They have not been given the signal to dive down after Godzilla, as if they are waiting for Godzilla to do the brunt of a work. Let's discuss now the final method of what the mission hopes to be, and then we will roll an engagement roll. Sounds like it's attempt to take control of the Stratos from the summit

You're going to ask for help from the prostatians. They're going to come and assist you in this. Yes Let's say that you have control of the Stratos. What is the next move? I think then it's going planet side, right? Yeah, we don't have to go down to the planet. Okay. Yeah, and I can, once this, if the summits all in one place, I can literally just lock the doors and keep them there and then whatever happens, and there happens. Recall that, Zilla. We need to make our way to the summit.

I'm gonna say for the purposes of narrative interest, it's going to take a couple of ticks of a clock to turn the array on, get it in position and to fire it on Godzilla at the same time as also trying to get control of the Stratos. We also, because we also, oh, I'm assuming it would be a different clock for the post-Asians to come into place because we were trying to hide there. No, I think that you could organize with them to get them aboard when you want. Again, Sabie has control of pretty much everything aboard the ship, so the sensors can be turned off or falsified. There may be a situation, though, where the other G4 squads are turned on us the second they know the array is turned on Godzilla again. That's what I was going to suggest, is what do we do with the rest of the mechs?

So we have like a defensive measure. Are we okay taking out G-Force? I mean if we have full control of Submit, how are they going to get in? They also, you know, you were able to get into the array using your mecha. It's a pretty good guess that they'd be able to pry their way into. Yeah, like the Ruskies tried to do it the first time. With all of that said, you understand your place in G Squad. You have earned G Squad's trust.

Your reputation has gone up since last session. I would argue that there is room in G Squad's heart to at least listen to your argument. Ooh. Thought for Sabi, because it's not just the mech pilots, right? It's kind of all of humanity. Yes. So where are those civilians currently? We'll say that there's a section of the ship that they're mostly housed in. It's like a kind of living quarters.

I feel like maybe Sabi's social media prowess could come in handy here. So it's like the will of the people, even if the jockeys aren't hearing reason. That works for me. I think if I know I'm going to do a move to like open and lock doors that need to be open and locked and then do one more broadcast. Serge you mentioned that we were like one roll away from revolution. Would this be that one roll or was that more towards the the protesions? No, if you want to use it here, you can.

I'm going to argue that let's actually get past the engagement roll before you use it. Because I was expecting you to use it during the mission and we're not quite there yet. Is there any last bits about the mission we want to talk about before we make our engagement roll? I just want to say one roll away from revolution is a really cool slogan. Yeah, very good. So let's make our engagement role. We are going to discuss what are the reasons why you're going to have more than one die, which is just pure luck.

One, I also have weaving the web. So I get one D to the engagement role for this particular operation. We were gathering information for it in particular. 100% you now have 2D to this role. Is the mission bold? Yeah. Does the mission exploit the target's vulnerabilities? I will say yes. You have hacked their systems during downtime. You've got the Prostations coming. Is there external support? Yes, I'll give you another die for that.

I think those are enough died. Somebody, please make this engagement roll. You're going to roll them all and let me know what the highest result is. Would it kind of split it? I'd roll two. Everyone else rolls one. Yes, I'll allow it. Make it a group effort. Too excited. Too hard.

You didn't, because if you won, we all won. That's amazing. All those dice and you just rolled one six. So, once again, you begin in a controlled position. I wish I could have gotten begin in a controlled position. I wish I could have gotten me in a different one, but to be fair, it makes sense. Nobody is expecting this as nobody does from Wild Cards.

So you are going to begin the mission in a controlled position. Can you guys talk to me? I'm going to say the controlled position includes getting rid of the soldiers who are currently aboard the botango. So can you paint the picture about how you begin the mission getting past these guys? Uh, Peach has very much asked what he could do to help us out and I would very much love if he could use some of his suede to make sure that if he could get them gone, basically get tell them, hey, they're not going to do anything, they live here. You don't actually need to guard them, this is coming from me.

I'm the representative of the summit. They just wanted you to get them here, your post is ended now, you can go on about your business. Peaches is your connection. If you want to make a sway roll for peaches, we can see if he can succeed. Does he just use what my stats?, yeah, just use whatever your, your score is.

Okay. Uh, six out of three. Awesome. I like to picture peaches has not taken them very far away from the Gotango, like still in the Hanger Bay. And he's like blasting some like very loud music, and they are too distracted to see behind them four giant mechs quietly stealth their way out of the Gotango and make their way out because I think this will work. You're able to sneak past the initial guard, maybe Sabi throws up, you know, some kind of hacking field.

Maybe like the two of you stand in front of us and we just kind of really straight down our mix as we walk, but as you both side by side, and we're just kind of like in a line between you two. I can't like change the size of things, but I think I do make us look like guards, but we're just 80 foot tall. I'll use the tentacles like you know in those Really quick old picture reels they go really fast in a little circle. I'll do that with the tentacles really fast So it just looks like one solid wall of not us So I think that that role got you out of the space. Nobody knows where you are. Nobody knows what you're up to.

Are you inside the Stratos or do you attempt to take an outwardly approach where maybe you start walking on the on the hull of the ship? That second one sounds pretty baller, guys. I think it makes sense for you, though. Like if you're going to be piloting, yeah. I would very much like to do that. So Savy is able to turn off any sensors, open the doors, and you open one of the Hangar Bay doors and the four of you slip out in your mechs, climb aboard, let the magnetic

locks engage with the hull of the ship, and you are now making your way. I assume to where you know the summit's kind of central command center it is. Yes. What are the Prostations where they... And you begin to hear over the comms the other G Squad members and say, Hey, do you listen to that? Can you hear what the drones are hearing? And they, you know, kind of, there's a little bit of an audio squelching as they turn up their sensors so that everyone can hear. Your ears adjust and you can finally hear it. It sounds... Well, it sounds like singing. It sounds as if every soul on that planet is singing.

In unison. This kind of sad longing melody. The language is alien, but when you hear it, it strikes you. To judge, it sounds like the song of justice. To Roosevelt, it's a song of forgiveness. To Sabie, it's a song about the people rising. And to Carol, it feels like a song that your family taught you a long, long time ago.

Maybe so long ago, it was before you were even born. And it pangs you with nostalgia to hear this song. My players, so you understand the context, it sounds exactly like Mothra's theme song. Oh, oh, oh, yeah! Is that what's actually happening? Are there fairies down there singing this, or are we just hearing a song with the people singing?

We're hearing M for a better video. It sounds like you hear every citizen on that planet singing this song. And even Godzilla stops in his tracks listening, snarling at the sound. And there's this beat of silence where a moment later the comms pick up the sound of wind, a massive displacement of air, as if gigantic beating wings were approaching. The other G Squad members begin coughing into the comms, there's something flying in, something big! And then you see it.

In your ARs, a gigantic moth creature, equal to Godzilla in size but airy. It layers the most glorious pattern of swirling yellows and oranges and whites and blacks on its fur. Its compound eyes burn a shimmering blue, and its presence demands a kind of reverence. This moth guardian is like Godzilla, but also completely different. Where Godzilla is all jagged lines and sharp edges, this creature is soft and gracious. Even its roar is melodic in comparison to Godzilla's bellowing scrum. No, I always knew there was probably something else out there.

We can only hear this, correct? You can hear and see it. You can see it through your AR. These kinds of drones are orbiting in different positions and you can see this giant creature. Carol would react to it by looking at Sabi. And it just looks at Sabi with the same energy of, like, you know, someone trying to, like, understand something new.

Sabi! Ah! This one doesn't skronk. And she just looks, like, a little out of her element, and you can see her kind of shifting her weight. No, but I think we're going to learn a lot about this thing today. It'll be all right. It's beautiful.

Yeah, I will say I don't think when you describe that this is a first draft feral thought, do with it what you will. But I don't think Savy has ever been more turned on in their life. Oh. And I think that the idea, yeah. Savy's a monster skrunker? Yes, but I was going to say the shock,

the scientific discovery of this new creature is like, oh I don't know, blushing is different but they're blushing. But they are with Carol in this moment. You also hear another voice over all of your comms, that soft, genderless voice of Dr. Sarazawa who says, Well, I think that this actually proves my theory even more. Correct. Another Kaiju.
