Hey everyone, Sergio here. Happy New Year! I figured instead of a plain old post I thought
it'd be more fun to make a video breaking down May Day's plans for 2025 and giving
you a sneak peek at what's in store for us this year.
First off, a huge thank you to all of our patrons who supported us through our break.
Your continued support means the world to us, and we're thrilled
to welcome a lot of new supporters who joined us over the holiday break. That's Zamandius,
Matthew G, Rohan D, Christopher D, Samy with an exclamation mark, Zoll, Grimba, James S,
Brianna N, Andrew S, Joey M, Christopher E and Lena P. Welcome aboard.
We're so glad to have you with us.
Let's talk first about the shows you can expect right away.
First, there's God's Teeth, Black Project Gaming's campaign,
which is absolutely killing it.
Episode eight dropped a few weeks ago, and you can expect a new episode
every month with the next one, episode episode 9 coming out February 3rd.
So right around the corner.
Then there's our Vampire the Masquerade Chronicle Vegas by Night.
Our big casino heist kicks off on February 8th live on YouTube.
Join us bi-weekly on Saturdays at 11am pacific time to see where the chips fall.
This chronicle will run until about May or June of this year,
so mark your calendars you won't want to miss this bloody good time.
Doomed to repeat, the fourth and final arc is in the works. I'm editing it now and Eli will be
mastering it over the next few months. We're aiming for a bi-weekly release starting no later than the end of April.
So expect it then.
So that's one Patreon exclusive show and two flagship productions
to kick off the year.
Pretty nice, right?
But let's talk about what's coming next more towards the end of the year.
There's going to be a bit of a sea change here at Mayday in a couple of ways.
Starting after Vegas by night, we're launching a new game called Inevitable. It'll be our new live show taking over the bi-weekly Saturday slot.
Inevitable is an Arthurian western RPG from Soul Muppet Publishing, the creators of Orbital
Blues.
Eli will be jamming this one.
Think chivalry and honor with sad cowboys, wizards and knights, and the songs will remember
them by as they face the doom.
After Doom to Repeat concludes, we're going to be diving into a fully produced The Wild
Sea campaign.
This Forged in the Dark system features chainsaw ships carving through treetop canopies in
a wildly imaginative setting.
All be running the game this summer offline for May Day, with episodes releasing around
December of 2025.
But that's not all, we've got a number of shorter campaigns planned including a Cyberpunk
2077 game ran by Darryl Dorsey of the Fangang Podcast.
Really looking forward to that one.
We're also upping our Patreon exclusive content.
God's Teeth will continue, but I'm experimenting with something new.
A Patreon exclusive Wild Sea campaign that you can join.
Here's the pitch.
I'll run a weekly live game and a play-by-post that any patron can join in.
Your decisions will directly impact this original reach
that I'm designing for the game,
influencing the setting that Mayday will explore later.
It's like you're shaping the story alongside me.
For context, the average game on StartPlaying.Games
costs between 10 to 20 bucks a session.
I'm offering a weekly game to play, collaborate, and be part
of something bigger for a fraction of that. So if you've been looking for a friendly game table,
or you joined our Patreon for free, consider joining only for 2 bucks. The table will open
February 1st, so check the Wild Sea channel in our Discord for more information about how to play.
Sea channel in our Discord for more information about how to play. Both Inevitable and The Wild Sea will also come with bonus content like videos on character creation, session zeros,
interviews with the creators, and a lot more. Think of it like a deeper dive into these games,
similar to what we did with The Dead Rock, which by the way we hope to start up again
once Vince has completed God's Teeth.
We're also exploring ads moving forward
for our public releases of shows,
starting with Inevitable and The Wild Sea.
Patreon content, however, including shows
will always remain ad free.
So there will be a public version with ads
and a Patreon version with no ads.
The goal is to hopefully attract new patrons while giving current patrons an incentive
to stick around.
