Mayim Bialik's Breakdown - 95% of Your Life Runs on a Program You Never Chose. Dr. Bruce Lipton on Rewiring Belief in Minutes, Why Quantum Physics Says You’re a Creator, and Why Science Now Calls Spirituality Real

Episode Date: August 18, 2026

Bruce H. Lipton, Ph.D. (former medical school professor, epigenetics pioneer, and bestselling author of The Biology of Belief and Beyond Darwin) returns to explain why he believes humanity is... living through an unprecedented evolutionary crisis, why today's global chaos may actually be the necessary breakdown before an extraordinary breakthrough—and asks the unsettling question: How far can humanity be pushed before it changes? In this episode of Mayim Bialik's Breakdown, we explore the revolutionary science of epigenetics, why your genes account for less than 1% of disease, how environmental signals control your biology, and why Dr. Lipton argues that you are far more powerful than your DNA. He explains how consciousness shapes epigenetics, why our subconscious programming determines so much of our lives, and reveals practical ways to rewrite that programming through self-hypnosis and other powerful techniques.Bruce also dives into the fascinating intersection of Quantum Physics and spirituality, discussing whether everything is truly energy, whether physical reality is ultimately an illusion, whether spirit can be understood through quantum science, why he believes we cannot truly die, why karma is a biological reality, how many souls exist in the universe, whether souls choose to come to Earth to learn, and even whether a soul can switch bodies during a lifetime. He shares his own recent health challenges and how he applied The Biology of Belief to his recovery, explains why ignoring your life's purpose can manifest as emotional and physical struggles, recounts his personal experience with psilocybin, and reveals what it feels like to meet your energetic match.Bruce also discusses why love is the highest creative force, how it allows us to create "Heaven on Earth," why we need physical bodies to fully experience love, why cooperation (not competition) is humanity's greatest evolutionary advantage, and why the belief that life is meant to be a struggle is one of our biggest collective illusions. We also explore why alternative healing methods remain largely absent from mainstream education, the urgent new professions Dr. Lipton believes society must create to help humanity sustain Earth's ecosystem, how we unconsciously download limiting beliefs from those around us, four practical ways to reprogram the subconscious and create coherence between mind and reality, and why a lack of knowledge ultimately becomes a lack of power. If you've ever wondered whether science and spirituality can finally meet, this conversation may completely change the way you see yourself, and reality itself! If you're struggling with OCD or unrelenting intrusive thoughts, NOCD can help. Starting point is 00:00:00 We are facing irreversible collapse. There's a point where people cannot be sustained. What kind of wake up do people need? To recognize the science of spirituality. To create coherence between your belief and your reality. Energy psychology is offering an ability to change the belief in menace. If I don't have to go backwards, I have to go forward. I joined myself of cancer by changing the belief.
Starting point is 00:00:30 Dr. Bruce Lipton, known for his pioneering work in epigenetics, is here to explain how quantum science and cooperation will shape the future of humanity. If you ask 100 people, tell me what your vision of heaven is, you can get 100 definitions. Here, you can manifest that definitions. Harmony is health and happiness. This harmony is acquired through our experiences. Those are the programs that control your life. More than half are disempowering, self-sabotaging.
Starting point is 00:00:59 The greatest fear humans have is death. How much money would you spend to not die? Mind Bialx's breakdown is supported by Helix Sleep. We can't tell you how excited we were to hear that Helix wanted to partner with us. I've had my helix for over five years now, and it helps me sleep great. Jonathan loves his helix. Our kids love their helix mattresses. All of those issues, like night sweats and back pain and motion transfer.
Starting point is 00:01:28 issues, all of that is significantly better. Helix sleep makes premium mattresses and bedding that are customized to fit your personal needs and they're conveniently shipped to your door. I was so happy with their shipping process. I even ordered my son a new mattress to his college that saved us all of the frustration of finding a new mattress. Helix combines innovative tech with high quality materials to deliver comfort and support. They offer soft, medium and firm mattresses and there are literally different options for side, stomach, or back sleepers. Helix sleep mattresses have a a supportive hybrid design, and you can choose to elevate your mattress
Starting point is 00:02:01 with premium cooling options. The Helix lineup offers 20 plus unique mattresses to choose from and a variety of mattress topers. Starting point is 00:02:25 Hi, I'm I'm Bialik. And I'm Jonathan Cohen. And welcome to our breakdown. What if everything you've been taught about life, death, disease, and even reality is actually not the whole story. Today we're speaking with Dr. Bruce Lipton, and we're going to be discussing his new book, Beyond Darwin. The book focuses on how epigenetics and understanding of quantum science and cooperation and kindness are actually, which shapes humanity's future, not simply our genetics. Dr. Lipton's going to take us through the current chaotic situation we find ourselves in, how environmental signals are actually
Starting point is 00:03:10 controlling our biology, which makes us the creator and not the victim of our personal destiny and our global destiny as well. We cover how our unconscious beliefs are influencing our lives and four amazing ways to change them. We even talk about the names. We even talk about the nature of the soul and how each of us has a unique genetic imprint that connects to our life's purpose. We talk about harmonic resonance and what does it mean to actually find and be in alignment with what you're meant to do in this world. We spoke to Dr. Lipton about a year and a half ago, but we are so excited to have him here in person to discuss beyond Darwin and so much more. Dr. Bruce Lipton, welcome to the breakdown. Break it down. I am so happy because
Starting point is 00:03:57 It's part of the real breakdown, and there is a breakdown. I don't have to explain that. People who are watching the news or surfing the web, they don't have to be told there's a breakdown. Your message is one of incredible optimism, not just from an energetic perspective or from a biological one. But I wonder if we can, before we get to the hope that in particular, beyond Darwin, I think, conveys, Can you talk to us about the place that we find ourselves in 2026 from an evolutionary biology perspective? What is going on? Well, let me give you a scientific piece of that.
Starting point is 00:04:41 It is established by science, NASA scientists, that we are facing, and I want to emphasize the word, irreversible collapse of civilization within 10 to 20 years. it'll be gone. It's already in process. And I said, why? Well, there's a simple mathematics, and that is this. How much resources does it take to support today's civilization? The answer is the resources from 1.6 planet Earth. I said, well, there's a problem. We have one planet Earth. Where's the extra point six coming from? And the answer is, we're underwent. mining the ecosystem. We're destroying the garden. The web of life is collapsing. First, you have to know, we are a web of life. We came from a web of life. If the web of life doesn't exist, we don't exist. So the wake-up call is how long can you keep doing this answer is putting in science 10, 20 years maximum, 10 years more likely.
Starting point is 00:05:55 What does that mean when you say that we kind of only have 10 or 20 years? What would we imagine could collapse? It's collapsing right now. I'll give you one of them right now. If people are trying to go buy food and they're finding the cost of food getting higher and higher, that's the beginning. And there's a simple fact that people are not paying attention to because we've been misdirected as usual. Oh, yes, climate change. The ice is melting.
Starting point is 00:06:24 and the cities by the edge are going to get flooding. I go, yeah, that's cool. I said, what you're not telling people is you have to know climate if you're going to do agriculture. If you can't predict the weather, you can't grow food. As a matter of fact, right now, Kansas, for example, the heart was the heart of the wheat belt. And wheat foundational,
Starting point is 00:06:53 No harvest this year of wheat because the climate didn't grow. And people are saying, well, you guess what? Well, you bought bread. It's made out of wheat. Can you even afford bread as the prices go up on everything? There's a point where people cannot be sustained. And there's a point where a rebellion will be natural. You can't starve people and have some people living up on the hill with a million
Starting point is 00:07:23 trillion dollars and you can't afford a loaf of bread, there's going to be a problem and the mass of the problem. A simple picture, if you could, a piece of pie representing all of the resources of this planet, you know, the money. Less than 1% has taken more than half of that pie. Ninety-nine percent of the people are now in competition survival mode. to get a piece of that leftover pie, and there's not enough. You can't push people in a corner too far, and then there's rebellion, because there's survival. And all organisms are driven by survival. Even it's called the biology, the biological imperative.
Starting point is 00:08:18 I go, what was that? The drive to survive. I go, from every organism, from bacteria. If you try and kill a bacterium, it's not going to go, oh, okay, kill me. It's going to do everything in its power to stay alive. Okay, and that's a bacterium. When you're getting to humans, and you're starting to see people who can't get health care, can't buy food, are struggling week to week
Starting point is 00:08:51 and not making it, how far can you push them? I mean, it's a very logical thing. He says, not very far. Something's happened. You've been alive in extraordinary times. Oh, yeah. You know, you've witnessed, you know...
Starting point is 00:09:06 Television. Well, but I think you've witnessed, you know, a certain kind of turmoil in the 1960s and the 1970s. Oh, my God, yeah. How do you compare, you know, that kind of, kind of instability and what's the difference between the instability and chaos that we're seeing now? The drive to survive is, again, very important. I go, why is that important? If you were back in the 60s, a male, your life was under threat. Why? You're going to go to Vietnam. And I remember in
Starting point is 00:09:38 the very beginning being detached. Vietnam, if you were back there, in the very beginning, was a game in a sense like, tonight's news. Okay. 500 Vietnamese warriors were killed. Only 100 Americans were killed. We win! It was like, it was a ball game. And I personally didn't see it. And then, you know, I woke up,
Starting point is 00:10:05 I woke up and somebody snapped a finger and got me out of a trance. And it was a song by Buffalo Springfield called, For What is the Word? Yeah, something happening here. Something's happening here. And the universe, I was driving north in a snowstorm. And I had miles and miles to go, and I'm going like 20 miles an hour.
Starting point is 00:10:29 You're just trying to look out. And the guy on the radio said, oh, you got to hear this. And he played it. And I said, look, you got to hear it. Let me play it again. And then he said, you understand? Let me play it again. And I'm driving 20 miles an hour.
Starting point is 00:10:46 repeating, repeating. And by the time he finished playing about four times, I was like, I was evolved. Yep. I woke up and said, damn, right. Who's that guy over there with a gun? Yep. What kind of wake-up do people need in 2026?
Starting point is 00:11:04 There was a threat. And at colleges, because there was a draft, and you couldn't get out. And we were against the wall. It's being against the wall that pushed. We are being pushed against that wall right now. And when the population decides enough is enough, it'll switch like your litter match, boom, it'll start to fire.
Starting point is 00:11:33 And the idea is, can we get by without the violence? And the answer is, yeah. As a matter of fact, my nephew Alex and I on the way over here, I said, Alex, there's a song from way back. It was called The Low Spark of High Hill Boys. It was from a group called Traffic. Steve Winwood, yeah. High Hill boys were like the dropout.
Starting point is 00:12:00 And I was talking about the man making all the money and buying a new car selling you a dream. And he's the one that bought the car. And you have nothing. And basically says, the man was killed. Not by a bullet, but by the low spark of high hill boys, meaning they pulled out. I'm not playing this game anymore. And I was really thinking that is somewhat of an anthem for right now.
Starting point is 00:12:32 It's supported by money. If you don't have money, then what? And when they stop getting money, that changes them. Mine B. Alex's breakdown is supported by no CD. Have you ever replayed a conversation over and over, trying to be sure that a friend doesn't secretly hate you? Maybe you've spent hours researching a minor ache even after a doctor told you were fine. Well, you might be surprised to learn that these kinds of distressing, unwanted thoughts can actually be signs of OCD, obsessive-compulsive disorder. OCD is a serious condition and it can focus on anything, your identity, your morals, your relationships, your sense of reality.
Starting point is 00:13:12 but what makes it so debilitating is that it often fixates on exactly the things that you care about the most. I've struggled with OCD myself. I know how misunderstood it is and how hard it can be to even figure out what is going on, let alone get the right kind of help, and that's why we're here to tell you about NoCD. NoCD is the world's leading provider of specialized OCD treatment and all of their licensed therapists go through extensive specialty training to identify and effectively treat OCD. NoCD is covered by insurance for over 138 million of. Americans and include support between sessions so you never have to face OCD alone. Starting point is 00:14:00 My and B. Alex breakdown is supported by OneSkin. One Skin is not your typical skincare brand. That's why I keep coming back to them. Most anti-aging skin care is honestly built to react. just smoothing over lines and wrinkles after they show up. But one skin works to address how skin ages in the first place. Founded by four PhD longevity scientists, they studied skin at the cellular level,
Starting point is 00:14:23 and they found that visible skin aging actually starts when certain cells stop working the way that they should and affect the healthy cells around them. So they engineered OS1, their proprietary peptide to work with skins biology and target those dysfunctional cells. It's the foundation of every one-skin product. You'll see over time, firmer, smoother skin, and visibly fewer fine lines.
Starting point is 00:14:44 What we love about One Skin is that it's literally backed by science. You can tell the difference in your skin, the more you use One Skin. I actually shared their sunscreen with our podcast producers, and we're all hooked. And it's not just us. One Skin's results are backed by four peer-reviewed clinical studies, over 10,000 five-star reviews. And they've been recognized by Bloomberg and Fast Company as a leader in skin longevity. Born from over 10 years of longevity research, One Skin is helping you unlock your healthiest skin now. and as you age.

There's a divide between people who believe that the next wave of technology will bring prosperity
Starting point is 00:16:52 breakthroughs. There are a lot of people who claim there'll be no job loss at all because now everyone is able to create so much more than they've ever created. And in fact, right now people are hiring in engineering because the engineers can create so much more. And then on the other side, there are people who believe there's going to be a massive wave of displacement. The only possible way for the AI companies to achieve the revenue that their valuations have stated is to wipe out most of middle tier labor. And there's going to be a force, a reckoning in society, because that will increase this displacement and people will get more and
Starting point is 00:17:33 more angry and there'll be conflict in the streets. Where do you sit in that divide? I say that is an interesting outcome if you don't see the positive side. I go, what is it? We are facing an evolutionary crisis on the planet because of the way we're destroying nature. The Native Americans, they saw nature as a garden, and we were gardeners, okay? We're pillages, not guardians anymore. We're destroying all this. The only way we can survive is to rebuild the garden. I say, what does that mean?
Starting point is 00:18:16 I say, jobs you haven't even imagined yet. People working at every level of improving, increasing, valuating, the ecosystem and simultaneously valuating us as an ecosystem. And so the job loss at one end, which
Starting point is 00:18:37 are jobs that are destroying the planet, can be turned into new jobs that enhance the environment, enhance the garden, and living in that garden. And people they're not living in the gardens. I always
Starting point is 00:18:53 ask you an audience, they say, well, raise your hands if you've seen the sunset lately no hands go up why I'm in commute I'm traveling here I'm working my job I'm doing this I say you're not here I learned myself because I was one of those guys okay
Starting point is 00:19:13 I had a job as a professor in a medical school University of Wisconsin for that job I had tenure what's that job for life I could have stayed at my whole life, even if I'm dueling and not doing anything. I walked out because I realized what I was teaching was incorrect, and the curriculum wouldn't allow me to teach a new science.
Starting point is 00:19:44 And people don't know this. As a medical school professor, the curriculum is controlled by the pharmaceutical industry. Why is that important? If you go to school and a medical school, you're not going to find any other form of healing other than drugs in pharmacy. Yeah, but there are all different forms of healing,
Starting point is 00:20:06 energy healing, consciousness healing, spiritual healing, nutritional healing, all these things. If you can't do it with a drug, it's not being taught. So we're programming a population of victims. I can't control my health. That person can. When a person is a victim, they will look for a rescuer and pay wherever that rescuer demands
Starting point is 00:20:37 because you feel like if I don't pay it, where am I? And then you look at the high cost of health care. And the health crisis is interesting. The cost of health care goes up, the health crisis is going up simultaneously. And the reason is, and people need to know this, is this. People think that disease is gene-related, heredity. That's 100% false.
Starting point is 00:21:05 I'm citing this from two major scientific journals, the Journal of the American Medical Association and the British Journal of Medicine. This is a fact research, first thing in cause of death. At that time, health, heart disease. Second, cancer, okay? What we were just getting into is cancer is now becoming number one. Cancer, young people are getting cancer, okay?
Starting point is 00:21:36 It's changing the dynamic, okay? So let's say cancer number one, heart disease, number two. Number three, iatrogenic illness. What the hell is iatrogenic? And then I like to amuse myself by saying, science is like religion. We put it in Latin. You have no idea what the hell we're talking about.
Starting point is 00:22:02 And iatrogenic is a word that means illness as a result of medical treatment. Medicine is the third leading cause of death. That's the fact from them. I'm not making it up. I go, why is it relevant? I said, you never realize how dangerous it might be to follow the medical path. The surgery and cause of death. Why?
Starting point is 00:22:27 The vision is wrong. It's a corporation. Medical schools are front for pharmaceutical industry, where the money comes from. Okay? And the pharmaceutical, second corporation under industrial military. So the point is this. a corporation is manipulating belief. And it is programmed people to believe that genes control your life.
Starting point is 00:22:57 You didn't pick them as far as you know. You can't change them. Right. And then add the last whopper, jeans turn on and off by themselves. Who does that mean? My life is controlled by my genes. I'm a victim. It's running in my family.
Starting point is 00:23:15 And I got it. What can I do? Well, every 15 minutes on TV, you'll get an ad for what you can do. Every 15 minutes is buy a drug, buy a drug, buy a drug, buy a drug. Drugs, people don't know this. Fact, over 300,000 businesses in the U.S. Die every year from prescription drugs. Less than 100,000 die.
Starting point is 00:23:45 from illegal drugs, three times more. But the fact is the whole belief system is wrong. Genes don't control anything. The mind controls the genes. And not just controls them, the mind can change the re-out of the genes. A fact. There's no gene that causes cancer.
Starting point is 00:24:08 Lifestyle is 90% cancer, right there. Why? Epigenetics in a bad, lifestyle rewrite a healthy cell into a cancer cell. And all of a sudden, I say, well, why is that important? I said, well, you can buy these drugs. You can do chemotherapy. You can do all that stuff.
Starting point is 00:24:29 But you haven't solved cancer. Cancer, you're killing the cells that have the cancer. You never said, how did I get the cancer? Because if you did, 90% cancer would disappear on the planet. because it's just by how you're living. Nobody ever mentions that, that my life is making a cancer. And heart disease, same thing.
Starting point is 00:24:55 90% is all lifestyle. Where do you hear this? Where is it written? The answer is leading edge of science. I grew up as a scientist. My career is a scientist. And say people are blaming science for the fault that we have.
Starting point is 00:25:16 I want to please, people understand this. Science doesn't make anything. Science doesn't sell anything. Science is philosophy and wisdom. Technology uses that science to create. It's the technology creations that's a problem. Science is wonderful. But the technology is deadly.
Starting point is 00:25:44 And then you take your blame and you don't say, it's not us, the science people did this. Oh, man. That's an issue, yeah. We speak to a lot of people who have had changes in their consciousness, right? Yes. And on our last conversation, we talked a lot about the programs running beneath our conscious awareness that influence how we perceive the world. And we could go back there for a second.
Starting point is 00:26:09 We could do a bit of a recap. But before we do that for people who may not have either heard that episode or don't really understand how that works. Let's go into consciousness for a minute. Yes. And we speak to a lot of people, and we hear from our audience, a lot of people who have either had near-death experiences that has changed their perception of reality, or they've had mystical experiences, often through meditation or a spiritual awakening.
Starting point is 00:26:36 And then all of a sudden, that filter through which they viewed their entire life has drastically changed. Can you talk a little bit about that and what that does to our physical bodies and how our genes are expressing themselves? Okay, well, you mentioned it, and we won't go into it right now, but very simply, genes are blueprints to make body part, coaching. They're blueprint. I said, so what? Blueprints don't control themselves. Otherwise, you throw the blueprints into a yard and walk away and the house would show up. No, there's an architect that reads the blueprints. That is the mind.
Starting point is 00:27:25 And as an architect, not only does it read the blueprints, but it can change the plan. That's epigenetics. I have genes, and I can change how they work, but I have to change consciousness. that's the architect. If I have a negative architect, my building, I don't want to be in that building, okay?
Starting point is 00:27:50 And then you say positive, negative, and then that whole thing of positive belief. And then people, oh, that doesn't work. I tried to think positive and it didn't even work. And I go, first of all, more than 50% of all medical healings are placebo. more than 50%. What does that mean?
Starting point is 00:28:14 I go, it's positive thinking. I go, well, yeah, well, oh, the doctor gave me this brand new pill that was made just for my, it's the newest technology for my problem. And I took these pills and I got better. And then we find out the pill was the sugar pill. It was the belief in the sugar pill, a positive belief. a positive belief, and it changed the entire biology. I cured myself by changing the belief.
Starting point is 00:28:47 The thinking we're doing, how's it creating? We are creators. This is a given fact. This is quantum physics, as I always like to get into, it changed my life just as much, Jonathan, as you were mentioning. It's like, boom, changed my life. I grew up in Newtonian physics. We all grew up.
Starting point is 00:29:09 I said, what the hell is that mean? Newtonian physics subsides the universe into two realms, matter and energy, and says that they don't interact. Matter affects matter, energy affects energy, but they don't interact. This is why science, medicine, never included consciousness or spirit. in a healing process. They don't even talk about it. Why?
Starting point is 00:29:42 That's an energy. That's metaphysics. Science were physics. Metaphysics is phony. And so we've been led to believe that our consciousness and our spirit plays no role in this game. You're a physical body and we have physical chemicals. That's the nature of healing. Okay.
Starting point is 00:30:03 Well, that game is changing. And when you wake up to it like I do, and they said, wait a minute, everything is energy. That was what quantum physics found out. An atom, when you take it all the way apart, below protons, neutrons, electrons, below quarks. You get to the bottom, it's an energy vortex. It's nothing solid.
Starting point is 00:30:31 So everything made out of atoms is made out of energy. And all of a sudden, the whole realm is everything, is energy. And this energy is what shapes what we perceive as matter. Albert Einstein,
Starting point is 00:30:47 quote, very important quote, and that is the field, which is the energy. The field is the sole governing agency of matter. The energy changes matter.
Starting point is 00:31:00 And what's the energy we're talking about? Well, Jonathan, the thought, the consciousness. And that led me into oh my God, we've been focusing on the genes. That led me into focusing on consciousness. And all of a sudden, the game changes.
Starting point is 00:31:18 Why? Because I'm powerful. I didn't know that. I thought I was a victim. But as long as I let you think you're a victim and enhance your victimization, and I can do it every 15 minutes on TV. You got this problem?
Starting point is 00:31:34 We have a drug. You have a problem? We have a drug. I want to bring along and sort of vocalize for an audience, a type of audience that I know is listening. Yes. Maybe they have cancer. They have cancer in the family. Yes.
Starting point is 00:31:48 And sometimes they hear, I'm not a victim as they've played some role in this disease. And they shouldn't trust the medical system because of these incentives, because of the profit center. And yet they're very confused. And I don't think we would ever say, do not go through a traditional. medical process. Let me just say, I have right now, and I'm struggling with my speech a bit, a couple years ago, I went to doctors that was having problems, swallowing. He says, oh, you have a tumor, a tumor in your tongue and your throat. And it was fun because doctors always when I say that and the patients go, you know, I grab the heart, and I go, oh,
Starting point is 00:32:36 okay. He looked at me like waiting for me to have some emotional hit. And I go, oh, okay. Why? Because I know it's based on my belief. Why did I get the tumor in my tongue? Because my speaking was interfered with. And my job was lecturing. And if you can't lecture, then you have a job problem, right? but it wasn't that. My book, Biology of Belief, says there was some belief behind here. And the answer to that, which I recognized and now resolved, is for 20 years, I've had an understanding of evolution that transcends Darwinian theory. In matter of fact, I call it the antidote to Darwin.
Starting point is 00:33:31 and I didn't publish it. And I kept thinking, well, who am I? You know, Bruce published the theory. James was a great darling, you know? So I held on, I held on, I held on. And at some point, my biology and my spirit said, shut up, stop talking, write this book. I had to get into, like, I'm going to write the book.
Starting point is 00:33:58 I don't care what other people say. That was one thing that was holding me back. You're going to challenge, darling. So at some point, it's like, so I wrote the book you have it in your hand right now. And the relevance, I say, why was that important? My growth was malignant when I started. My growth is benign now.
Starting point is 00:34:20 And actually tomorrow, I think, I get another scan to see it's going away, but I still have some, affecting the nerve, so I'm working on my voice. But the fact was this. I'm one of those people. Isn't my fault? Now, Jonathan, that's where the bad word comes in.
Starting point is 00:34:41 You got cancer because it was your fault. I say, if you have no knowledge of something, how can you be blamed? If I say, listen, take my cars to town and standard shift. And you say, I don't know how to drive it. I said, take it. And you get in town and you say, it's broken. The clutch isn't working. And so I said, you idiot, you drove my car, ruined the clutch.
Starting point is 00:35:09 I can't say that. Why? You didn't know. And I'm trying to say this issue, Jonathan. I don't blame them. I'm not saying it's your fault. I say you have no knowledge of your participation. I think someone else might also hear,
Starting point is 00:35:28 description and say, did you get cancer to write this book? If you did not have that belief about being limited in writing this book, would you not have gotten cancer? Would you have gotten cancer somewhere else? Because it's just age and the natural environment and at some point we all break down to some degree and father or mother time is undefeated. Cancer is very interesting related to people's culture and lifestyle. There's different cancer in China than there is in the U.S. But when Chinese people come to the U.S. Or when we export our food, yes. Yeah. Then they ends up with the same cancer as we have. So is it lifestyle? Is it
Starting point is 00:36:12 environmental? There's something generally in North America. Lifestyle includes environmental. Lifestyle says, am I eating your right food? Am I eating toxic? Am I putting stuff in that is actually taking away from my health. One of the big things is sugar. Now, sugar's not that good, but you know what? High food toast corn syrup is toxic. Why? Research has revealed it impairs memory and learning.
Starting point is 00:36:45 I go, huh, interesting. In the U.S., it's all of the drinks. Instead of sugar, no sugar, okay? Even health food has high food. just going to share a minute. And it's like, no, it's been demonstrated. It's an interference. I go, it's down-dumbing us. And we drink it because it was sweet. And they knew, if I satisfy your sweet, you'll buy the price. And it's cheaper than sugar. So all of a sudden, it's like, oh, they win twice. It's addicting and it's cheap. Again, not to put, not to put it,
Starting point is 00:37:26 you on the spot, but I just want to sort of finish this. Put me on the spot. I love that. What do you think about the book as it relates to your cancer? Do you think that if you had written the book, you wouldn't have gotten cancer in that way because you could have gone on lecturing? I think there was an involvement with my consciousness because consciousness is what shapes epigenetics. My mind, the tongue didn't decide, today I'm going to give you some cancer.
Starting point is 00:37:53 That was no decision of the tongue. of the tongue. It came from consciousness. I was not in harmony with my life or my mission as I perceived it. So this is really interesting because it goes, and it speaks to actually something Rizwan Verk said when he came here. It's a simulation expert. And what he's told us is he had a life plan and he knew what his life plan was. And every time he fell off of his life plan by not following the guidance that he had been given, he ended up in the hospital. Yeah. Do we think that each one of us has a unique life plan that we, and it's our job to figure out what that path is to be in harmony with something greater than ourselves? Yes. I'm going to say this and now a lot of people go right guy. He's crazy,
Starting point is 00:38:45 but no, I'm not. It's this. First of all, one of the big important things that this evolution we're facing is requiring of us is to recognize the science of spirituality, that quantum physics actually uses the word spiritual in science. And quantum physics is the most valid of all the sciences. Because why is this important? Because the greatest fear humans have is death. And you will, that's where the money comes back here. How much money would you spend to not die? Over 60% of bankruptcies in the U.S. medical bills, the price is adjobs. I forgot what the number is very high. How many U.S. citizens cannot afford a visit to an emergency room? $500. You got to have to walk in that door. How many people have that? We're having a problem with this whole thing. And I go,
Starting point is 00:39:56 spirituality reveals in a quantum physics world, and my connection is the biology of that, is that we are an energy field, a field, like a broadcast right now. And that broadcast get picked up by antennas. On your cells, the ones with nuclei, not ready, blood cells. And it's very important. Red blood cells, we can transfer from one person to another. No problem. But transferring an organ from one person, you can't do that. I go, why? Because here's the connection. If I put my liver or lung or kidney into your body, your immune system is going to say not self and destroy it. If you put your organ into a anybody else's body, their immune system will say not self. Well, now we've got an issue.
Starting point is 00:40:55 What makes me difference than you? Why is my biology different than your biology? The immune system sees physical things, viruses, bacteria, parasites. If it's looking at yourselves and it says not self, well, there must be something that recognizes self from not self. It's the whole purpose of understanding autoimmune disorder, right? Why would the body all of a sudden, not recognize itself. Consciousness got in the way. It's self-alimmune defines self-destruction. It's like civilization. It's in self-destruction. Okay. So the point about it is what led me then say, well, wait, where is the difference? And here it is. On the surface of your cells with the exclusion of red blood cells, there are protein receptors on the
Starting point is 00:41:50 surface, outer surface, okay? I say, well, your biology is a reflection of that. You have eyes, ears, nose, taste, touch, pain. These are receptors, where are they in the skin? To do what? Read the environment. These receptors are given the name, and it was inappropriate, but now appropriate, called self-receptors.
Starting point is 00:42:16 Okay? What they didn't recognize is the quantum. some physics of it. The protein is an antenna. It downloads a vibration frequency, meaning no two people are downloading the same broadcast. All the broadcasts is like a radio, like FM bands. And then you turn the knob and here's the station,
Starting point is 00:42:43 here's the station, here's the station, here's the station, where there's a human band. And each of us has their own stations. What was the point? Our identity is the field. I say, it's the broadcast. I guess so why is that important? Analogy.
Starting point is 00:43:01 The body is like a television set. The self-receptors are an antenna. Bruce is a broadcast playing through the antenna, and now you're watching the Bruce show on this TV. Okay? But that comes to the beautiful part of the analogy. I say, what? You're watching TV.
Starting point is 00:43:25 It breaks. I say, TV's dead. No longer, it's not working. It's dead. Did the broadcast die when the body died? Our near-death experiencers would say absolutely not. No, absolutely not. Why?
Starting point is 00:43:41 It was never part of the body. It was downloaded into the body. Spirit is a field, an energy field. That's what quantum field. physics is dollars. But now the mechanism is, why are we different? Each of us has a different set of antennas downloading our own station. Now there's two parts. I'm downloading a program, but my life experiences are sent back to source. And so, and it's very important because when you put wires on a person's head to re-brain, we call it EEG electroencephalographic,
Starting point is 00:44:17 brain function inside my head. There's another newer device called magneto encephal graph, M-E-G. I said, it reached brain activity. Go, yeah. What's unique? The probe is outside. Doesn't touch you at all.
Starting point is 00:44:35 Your thoughts are not contained in your head. Your brain is like a tuning force, vibrating, a field. Okay? And that field of your life experience also goes back to the field of source. So as we come in, our life experiences also are original source. Karma is a scientific, then reality.
Starting point is 00:45:02 Then it says if I'm coming back, I can adjust my karma. I say, what do you mean coming back? I say, my television's dead. I go, yeah, but here's a very important part. an embryo in the future shows up with the same set of antennas you have right now. Now you're downloaded into a new TV. So can we die? Your identity doesn't die.
Starting point is 00:45:28 Your TV dies, okay? But the core part is this. My field is out there. Nobody's downloading it. Why? TV's broken. No, nobody. But an embryo shows up with the same antennas.
Starting point is 00:45:40 Now I'm being downloaded into a new TV. That's reincarnation. 100%. And then, get ready. Does it make a difference if that TV is male or female? I don't know. You're not the TV. You play through the TV.
Starting point is 00:45:59 Bigger one. Does it make a difference if your TV is white, brown, black, red, or yellow? No, you are not the TV. There's a really interesting point that's probably missing from most reincarnation conversations or the continuation of the soul through many lifetimes. The notion that the broad or the receptor would be the same in the next
Starting point is 00:46:28 version of us. How many people are on the earth now? I don't know. Yeah, I was instantly thinking like how many frequencies are there. Right? There's an answer. We all have different receptors which is allowing us to get these different frequencies. We have a unique set of receptors. So I'm imagining just like a car key or the thing that opens your car. It's just slightly different enough to open only that car. Yep. Now I, my TV, my body dies. Yep. My receptor goes with it. Yeah. But then a similar enough receptor to the one that I had. Yep. Has to be recreated somewhere. Yep. And then and that body will then take that essence and, you know, and I want to, I want to, I want to, I want to, to hear what you have to say, and then I want to frame it with some of the near-death experiences as they've described it, because they've talked about what they saw on the
Starting point is 00:47:21 other side and, like, the back office of life as souls go through the process to re-engage with that receptor. So tell us about that uniqueness of the receptor. Okay. Now, as I said, these are proteins. Poachines. Potions come from genes, okay? There are three genes that come from your mother and three from your father. They're called H-L-A genes, okay? And they make the receptors, okay? But, and very unique, all six genes in your body, three from your mother, three from your father, are simultaneously expressed.
Starting point is 00:48:03 So you have six separate proteins. from these genes. I goes, yes, so what? I go, well, the alterations of a gene are called alleles. Same gene, but slightly altered. Well, in HLAA, there's like 590 alleles. HLAB, another like 150-something. And in HLAC, you got another 100, let's say, okay?
Starting point is 00:48:34 So I say, well, my HLA, I got, well, one out of 309 for the A and one out of 150 for the B. And it's called a permutation. That's a lot of combinations. So you multiply all those numbers together. What are the possible combinations? Yeah. And it's about $65 trillion. Hold on.
Starting point is 00:48:58 There are $65 trillion possible combinations to make this gene that's the receptor. Yeah. That's a lot of combinations. Yeah. Because when you multiply each one times each one twice, and you multiply, the number jumps each time. So is that how many souls there are in the universe? That's how many potential souls there are in the universe.
Starting point is 00:49:21 And we have $8 billion, which is nothing. And no two people share the same set. So that's where the numbers come in that you were asking about, my name, okay? because no two people are the same. I said, with that many possible combinations, it's unlikely that two people will be the same. So that hardware component is in some sort of matching rhythm
Starting point is 00:49:49 to whatever spiritual quality is on the other side. It's called resonance, vibrational resonance. Proteins vibrate. The fields has vibration. quantum physics, harmonic resonance. If two things have the same vibration, you activate one, the other one gets activated. Okay?
Starting point is 00:50:12 And so basically it says, I have receptors, I have this vibration code. I give it a number and say, my frequency is X, wah-wop-bop-pap, whatever. And I say, and the energy in the field, there's that frequency. And there's many, many more frequencies. and I'm downloading my own. So when I got this, there was a moment of the biggest aha I could have.
Starting point is 00:50:41 What was the point? I cannot die. I'm not even in here. And then the reality of it was, oh, my God, I can come back. Why? The next TV that shares my same alleles of the HLA genes, I'm back. That said, wow, wait a minute.
Starting point is 00:51:05 We have separated people based on sex. We have separated people based on race. I'm saying, you're focusing on the wrong thing. It's not the TV. It's the broadcast of playing through the TV. Over time, on a mass scale with artificial intelligence, if we could map that receptor, we could determine if someone has come back with
Starting point is 00:51:31 the same receptor combination. Yeah, it's a potential. If you don't know about it, you can't do it. But now if you know about it, it opens up the door for so many different things. And at some point in the back of my mind, I said, if you have one set of frequencies, I bet you can find a complement to that set of frequencies.
Starting point is 00:51:53 What does that mean? My spiritual partner. I found my mate. How do you know your mate? our energies overlap and we share frequencies. But it can't be the same because then if both people have the same frequencies, they also have both have the same problem. So it wouldn't help.
Starting point is 00:52:21 We're going to hit pause here, but there is so much more in part two of our conversation with Dr. Bruce Lipton. We're going to talk about how we can achieve, heaven on earth. And why is it that we need our bodies at all? What is it about being incarnated in physical form that is crucial to our experience here on earth? Dr. Lipton is also going to talk about the role of psilocybin and transcendental experiences in understanding the nature of our own reality. As well, the myth that life needs to be a struggle. Why was that programmed into us and how do we overcome it? All of that. And,
