Meditation Mountain - Affirmations for Anxiety ~ 10 Minute Positive Meditation
Episode Date: March 30, 2021During this 10 minute guided meditation we explore affirmations for anxiety in a positive and healthy, healing way. Morning affirmations for anxiety and positivity help reduce your anxiety throughout ...the day and over time help gently heal your soul. Positive affirmations are an easy and simple method to help you powerfully and sometimes permanently keep a lid on your anxiety. Coping with anxiety can sometimes feel impossible. With all the stresses of daily life, not to mention known and unknown dangers, it's easy for us to become overwhelmed by worry and panic. However regularly using meditations such as this one to take a small break from your busy day and focus on healing your mind can have instant as well as long term physical and mental benefits. Meditation for stress and anxiety through the use of anxiety affirmations means that we are spending the 10 minutes or however long we're meditating for talking to ourselves and convincing ourselves that we hold the power to help ourselves rather than having to give in to whatever the world throws at us that day. Knowing, believing and convincing yourself that you have the power is an absolute game changer. Affirmations for positive thinking doesn't just include motivational quotes. It's about resetting your brain to a state of mind where you know within yourself that you can overcome anxiety and deal with your problems. We have many meditations here that will help walk you through learning how to use affirmations correctly and even more focusing on stress and anxiety meditations and affirmations. Let me remind you that following guided affirmations doesn't always have to be with the view to remove or solve all your problems or even to make the anxiety disappear and never reappear. Our focus should be on learning how to deal with the anxiety when it arises and remembering these powerful affirmations at the times we really need them. Learn more about your ad choices. Welcome to Meditation Mountain and this guided meditation for reducing anxiety.
Using affirmations, I invite you to get into a comfortable position and close your eyes.
Let your mind and body relax as you focus on your breathing.
Take a deep breath in through your nose and now out through your mouth.
Each breath you take will relax you more and more until you are in a meditative state, deep within your subconscious mind, where you will repeat affirmations for anxiety relief.
Inhale again and feel your body relax. Your muscles are resting and comfortable.
Breathe out and let your mind settle and clear. No thoughts are coming in.
other than deep breathing and relaxation.
Any tension or discomfort in your body is released as you keep breathing deeply.
Let your breath guide you into relaxation, focusing your mind on your body and nothing else.
Feel your lungs expand and collapse with each breath you take.
Your stomach and chest rising and falling with every inhale and exhale.
Nothing else matters at this moment other than breathing deeply and relaxing.
Inhale again and exhale.
Notice your mind clearing.
All thoughts are pushed away and your mind settles and relaxes.
Slowly you delve deeper into your mind.
From your conscious brain to your subconscious brain.
Here you see the world from a different perspective.
Here you see the bigger picture and aren't bothered by things like anxiety or stress or worry.
Here is where you can make changes and heal yourself.
Continue to breathe deeply as you sit in this state of mind.
Know that anxiety is the worry for the future.
and the future is uncertain.
Unreal.
Anxiety makes you worry about things that haven't and probably won't happen.
Focusing on the present is how you combat anxiety and release its hold on you.
Take a few more deep breaths in and out.
In and out.
Now that you were in a calm, meditative state,
Let us repeat some affirmations to help relieve your mind of anxiety.
And retrain your thinking so that you live in the present moment,
instead of worrying about the future.
Repeat these affirmations verbally or internally.
I am present.
I am grounded.
I am in control.
I observe and acknowledge what I'm feeling.
I live in the same.
the present moment. I do not dwell on the past. I do not worry about the future. My mind is calm.
I am confident in my abilities. I can handle anything that has thrown at me. I accept change
and challenges. All of my experiences are opportunities to learn and grow. I learn from my mistakes.
Do not dwell on my mistakes.
I am okay with making mistakes.
I am not my mistakes.
I am more.
I am worthy.
I can do everything I put my mind to.
Others do not judge me.
I am seen as a confident and happy person.
I am grateful for the experiences I have.
I look forward to the future and the good things.
that are coming to me. I look on the bright side. I make the most out of every situation.
I do not let other things bother me. I do not let others bother me. I have the ability to do
anything. I am motivated and encouraged to do the things I love. I do not dwell on things that are not
important to me. I am present. After affirming all of these,
and believing they are true.
Bring your attention back to your breathing
as you let each affirmation sink in.
Inhale deeply and exhale deeply.
When you are ready,
let your body begin to move and awaken.
Allow thoughts back into your mind.
Slowly let your mind come back into your conscious state
with a few more deep breaths.
Slowly open your eyes and go on with your day.
Feeling relieved of your anxiety.
Knowing you can always come back to this meditation
and repeat these affirmations when you need to.
Thank you for joining me for these affirmations today.
