Welcome to Meditation Mountain and this meditation for creativity,
where we will be exploring your inner creative energy to help you find and focus your creativity.
Place yourself in a comfortable position, ensuring your spine is straight,
and close your eyes.
Simply breathe for now as you let yourself relax.
fully and comfortably.
Breathe at your normal pace.
As you let your mind clear of all thoughts and allow your muscles to relax.
Now, begin to breathe deeper.
Making your inhales and exhales longer and slower.
Ensure that you're completely filling your life.
and expanding your chest with each breath you take in and fully exhaling and collapsing your chest
and stomach continue to breathe deeply as you relax even more let each breath bring you further
and further into relaxation and into a meditative state feel
your body relaxing and notice all tension and discomfort leaving your body find yourself deep within your
own mind full of peace and comfort now bring your attention to your navel here is where your energy
center for creativity lies commonly called your sacral chakra imagine this
chakra like a river. A never-ending, flowing river of creativity. It flows through you and holds all of your
creativity, flowing downstream, effortlessly, with ideas and passions and goals and needs.
Like all rivers, this one can
become blocked by rocks or trees or dirt if you are feeling less creative than usual or you feel
creatively blocked your inner creativity may be struggling to flow and you feel it you feel out of ideas
or exhausted when you try to work or overwhelmed or that all of your ideas are
aren't good enough, take a deep breath in and out and know that just as a river can be unblocked,
so can your creativity. Many times, creativity is blocked by fear. Fear of rejection.
Fear of not being good enough, you may have taken on too many responsibilities,
having too much to do and focus on leaving you spread thin with no motivation you may be worried about
perfection or how others will react you may be trying to force ideas to come blocking them
because you're too focused walk down this river in your mind and see all the rocks and trees blocking it
Each one represents a blockage in your own creativity.
Notice a large rock blocking some of the water.
This is your fear of not being good enough.
Take a deep breath in and grab the rock.
Breathe out as you begin to lift it out of the river.
You must let go of perfection.
There is no such thing as true perfection.
Whatever you create will be perfect because you created it. Accepting this, you easily lift a rock and cast it to decide.
Notice a river running more smoothly and feel creativity, moving through you easier.
Next, you come across a log blocking the water.
This is all of the commitments you have made that are overwhelming you from,
doing anything with another deep breath in and out grab this log take a step back to focus on one
thing at a time focus on what excites you the most and let the others just come after easily lift
this log and toss it to decide unblocking more of the river notice the creative energy flowing
through your sacral chakra.
Even more.
There is one last blockage.
A large rock in the river.
Stopping the water.
This is your overthinking mind.
Trying to force ideas that should organically come to you.
Breathe in and out deeply again.
As you use your strength to grab this rock,
let go of the thought that you have,
have to force ideas to come. Let go of comparing yourself to others. Let go of trying to make
something so perfect. Ideas come to you easily when your mind is clear and you are happy.
Find your inner peace from this deep meditation and know that ideas will stem from the simplicity
of quiet.
With another deep breath in and out.
Lift this rock and pull it out of the water.
Watch as the water flows freely.
And with great power downstream.
Inside, you feel this power as well.
Your creativity flows easily and strongly.
Ideas come to you.
Without effort, you are not overwhelmed by work because you know what to focus on,
and you know that whatever you create will be perfect as it is with this creativity flowing.
It is time to wake up and start using it.
Bring your focus back to your breathing and allow yourself to be.
begin to wake up. Start breathing normally as you feel your body move and your mind awaken.
Still at peace. With one last breath, open your eyes and start creating with your river,
running freely. Thank you for sitting with me through this guided meditation.
