Welcome to Meditation Mountain and this simple healing meditation session.
Becoming relaxed is easier than you may think.
All it takes is a few minutes of your undivided attention.
And this is the first step in the healing process.
So, make sure you will not be disturbed by any.
anyone or anything, finding a comfortable position somewhere you can easily relax.
You want to have all of your body supported and loose clothing around the waist to allow
for easy breathing.
Once you're settled, you may gently close your eyes.
by taking a nice big breath in, expanding your lungs as much as you can.
And as you let the breath out, pay attention to the sound that the air makes as you exhale.
When you breathe in, hear the sound of the air coming into your lungs, placing all of your attention.
placing all of your attention on the breath as much as you can.
Be rise.
The air go.
Fill yourself relaxing.
Breathe in again.
Fully focused on the air coming in.
Breathe out.
Focusing on the feeling of the out breath.
Breathe in.
Noticing your body filling.
with air. Breathe out, feeling your body contract, your breath to return to a natural, automatic flow,
and notice how you feel are experiencing the benefits of mindfulness, a training exercise for the mind.
It is not about perfection, but more about improving your willpower to
to get better, allowing for improvement to happen slowly in its own time.
Just like how going to the gym grows muscles and improves strength,
this too is a slow process, happening little by little with your dedication.
Whatever wounds inside of you that need attention, need healing,
We must first acknowledge them, notice them.
Can we begin the process of healing?
Try not to focus on rushing this process or moving quickly.
Healing takes time.
Take these few moments to be kind to yourself,
to give yourself credit for the fact you are trying your best.
This simple act of generosity towards your intentions and actions, you're a step closer to healing
because it is only with love and careful attention that we can begin to heal from the inside out.
So, take five deep and slow breaths, each breath slower and deeper than the inside.
last. Let your breath return to an automatic rhythm. Notice how you feel after taking these five
conscious breaths and with passion is a wonderful way to ease pain and become one with the time
it takes to heal and mend. Return your awareness to the present moment proving with each breath
you take and remember that healing comes by showing kindness and compassion towards yourself over time.
So whenever you're ready, gently and slowly open your eyes today.
