Hey, what's up guys? So in this video, we're going to cover a couple of very interesting topics.
We're going to start in England and go to the ancient Stanton Drew stone circles
where I'm going to share with you a very mysterious legend concerning these 6,000-plus-year-old megaliths.
Then we'll go to the Middle East to a site known as Nimrod's Fortress.
And I'm wondering, might this fortress have been built by the Nephilim?
And then we'll end up on my favorite place in the planet, Peru, where I'm going to tell you about a new exciting discovery of a 4,000-year-old mural that was recently unearthed.
And then I'll end sharing about an amazing Incan legend known as the legend of Amaru Muru, which relates to Stargates.
You're not going to want to miss this.
But first, let me remind you to subscribe to this channel from wherever you are watching.

If you're watching this on Spotify, hit subscribe.
And also give me a five-star rating if you can on Spotify.
That really helps me to climb the charts.
And something else to let you know about is that I was a recent guest on the Matt Bell
Limitless podcast.
A couple weeks ago, it was an incredible opportunity to meet Matt.
I've been a fan of his podcast for a while now.
I got to travel down to Florida, meet him, see his studio.
and this guy has an incredible collection of ancient megalithic granite vases or vessels.
I believe most of these are prehistoric from a lost civilization that made them with lost technology.
And this was a huge collection.
I believe he had upwards of 100 there on the desk.
If you're watching this by way of video, you'll see some photos.
But it was a great experience to meet Matt and his team, his producer Ryan, see these vases.
and talk about ancient history and talk about lost civilizations and technology.
And I think we talked for over three hours.
It was an incredible conversation.
And that episode just went live on the Matt Bell Limitless podcast.
So you can find it on Spotify and YouTube.
And so I'll link that in the show notes.
Make sure to check that out.
It's over three hours long.
So my wife, Julie and I just got back from an incredible
trip to Virginia. It was our first time there, which seems crazy because years ago we actually
lived in Tennessee in the Franklin area. That was around 2008 for a few years. So we actually lived
in Middle Tennessee before it was like the cool thing to do, like everybody moving there now.
So I'm surprised I never made it a little further east to Virginia, but we had an incredible
time. And so something you'll learn about me is I'm not just into ancient.
ancient megalithic history, but I also love American history and the Revolutionary War
and Civil War history.
But real quick, before we dive into these other amazing topics, you know, on this trip to Virginia,
I was just overwhelmed by the history that's still there, because I'm a, at the end of the day,
I'm a history geek.
I'm a history buff, a total history nerd.
And so I was geeking out being all over this land where there was some of some.
much history. I mean, almost everywhere you look, there's these old plaques that talk about there was a Civil War battle there or a Civil War general stayed here. We actually stayed at a bed and breakfast in Orange, Virginia, called the Mayhurst Inn or a state. This thing was built in 1859, but in this various state that we stayed in were some very notable guests, such as General Stonewall Jackson of the Confederate side.
General Robert E. Lee, AP Hill. So the history was overwhelming, but we also took the time to visit a couple homes of famous presidents.
We went to James Monroe's house. We went to George Washington's house. That was about an hour and a half drive to Mount Vernon to see his incredible estate.
And I'll probably do a separate video just on that visit. It was so incredible.
I mean, the fact that you can still see the original house that George Washington's father began to build,
I think it was in the 1730s or 40s, and then George Washington inherits it and continues building it and designing it in the late 1700s into the early 1800s.
Just mind-blowing to still see this history and see real artifacts that George Washington owned in the house.
It was an incredible experience.
But I wanted to take a few minutes and tell you about another home we visited, and that was the home of Thomas Jefferson, right outside Charlottesville, Virginia, and it's known as the Monticello, which is a French word, which means Little Mountain, I believe.
Now, I knew Thomas Jefferson was an incredible historical figure in American history, but until you go and really see what he did and designed and learn the deep history,
You don't really appreciate who he was.
Again, it was such an experience to go up to the outskirts above Charlottesville in the hills,
to the Thomas Jefferson estate, and go in this incredible home he designed.
On the walls were literally the horns that Lewis and Clark brought him back from their Wild West expeditions.
And you see this elk horns, these elk horns that say 1803 from the Lewis and Clark expedition.
He also had, it was a replica, but he had a model of the Great Pyramid that historical documents say sat on his fireplace mantle.
Unfortunately, the original has been lost, but they have a replica that's been made that was given to him by another historical, I believe, ambassador to Egypt.
And so it was just incredible to see that he had this interest in ancient history as well in Egypt.
And something else that was crazy to see is there are woolly mammoth bones,
mastodon bones in Thomas Jefferson's house that were brought to him by some other explorers.
And again, I didn't realize the true genius of Jefferson until you really get there.
Just a couple things to point out.
Thomas Jefferson, starting, I believe, 1775, he was a member of the Second Continental Congress.
and then he became a U.S. ambassador to France.
He replaced Benjamin Franklin as a U.S. ambassador to France.
Then he was the governor of Virginia in 1779.
Then he was the Secretary of State in 1790 for a couple of years, serving under George Washington as a nation's first Secretary of State.
then he was the vice president under John Adams in 1797, and then he became the third president of the United States in 1801 to 1809, I believe, served two terms and oversaw major territorial and economic expansion.
He was also the primary author of the Declaration of Independence.
He oversaw his biggest presidential achievements.
He really oversaw the Louisiana purchase in 1803,
which really expanded the map and more than doubled the size of the U.S.
by acquiring some 828,000 square miles from France.
He's the one who commissioned the Lewis and Clark Expeditions,
1804 through 1806, I believe.
he established the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.
He founded the University of Virginia in 1819.
He actually designed the campus himself and the curriculum,
and this was really his proudest achievement.
So very interesting.
He was more proud of that than being the president.
He was an incredible designer, having been the ambassador to France,
he got a love for French architecture.
And so he designed his home Monticello to kind of be this French style.
Jefferson was an innovator and an inventor, really.
He created things such as the swivel chair, the polygraph, which was like a copying machine back then,
and all these various farming tools.
And obviously he was a philosopher.
He advocated for enlightened principles.
He promoted liberty, democracy, education, individual.
rights and he really opposed hereditary privilege and monarchy. And it's really interesting. When you go
to his tombstone there and read his epitaph, he only wanted three accomplishments to appear on
his tombstone. And here's what his tombstone reads, quote, author of the Declaration of Independence
of the Statute of Virginia for Religious Freedom and Father of the University of Virginia, end quote.
so he doesn't mention his accomplishment of being a two-term president.
And one other remarkable thing to point out,
both John Adams and Thomas Jefferson died on the same day,
July 4, 1826, which was exactly 50 years after the signing of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776.
What are the odds? Pretty crazy, right?
Okay, so let's talk about the legend of the mysterious Stanton Drew Stone Circles in England.
I got to visit this site, not this last summer, but the summer before on tour with Hugh Newman.
It was an incredible experience, and the Stanton Drew Stone Circle is approximately, get this, 6,500-plus years old.
This site is near Somerset, and it is a site to be.
behold. And although this is the third largest complex of prehistoric standing stones in England,
it's surprisingly unknown. It's not talked about a whole lot. You know, most people focus on
Stonehenge and other sites. And this site of Stanton Drew consists of these three Neolithic
stone circles, two avenues, an associated group of stones referred to as the cove. So it's this massive
site, not just one stone circle, but there's ruins of three giant stone circles and these two
avenues and this other part. Now Stanton Drew's biggest stone circle is known as the Great Circle,
and it measures 371 feet in diameter, making it the second largest stone circle in Britain.
and it's one of the largest Neolithic monuments to have ever been engineered.
And it features 26 surviving, massive, upright stones made of either sandstone or limestone, I believe.
And you're probably going to see some photos of me or video walking around these stones.
These things look so old.
When you get up close to these stones, to me, the weathering on them shows me these are so old.
they're likely older, much older than 6,500 years, the way they're eroded and degraded.
Now, while I was at this side, I began to learn about some of the legends concerning Stanton
Drew, and one really jumped out at me that I thought I'd share here.
And the legend whispers about how in ages past, there was a wedding celebration going on,
which was to be held through Saturday evening.
However, during the wedding festivities, a strange man, clothed in black, appears and starts to play his violin for the merrymakers and for the wedding party.
And so he begins to play his almost intoxicating music hour after hour for the wedding party who was thoroughly enjoying this music.
so much so that the wedding party as they drink their wine continues to party and lose track of time.
They continue to dance hour after hour past midnight and continuing into Holy Sunday morning.
And that's when suddenly dawn breaks and everyone in the wedding party was suddenly turned to stone.
and they are still awaiting for the devil who promised to come back someday and play again for them.
So an interesting legend.
So according to the legend, the wedding party becomes the stones in the stone circle.
And the black clothed violin player was like a devil Satan figure,
who I guess was trying to tempt them to stay up past Saturday and break
the Sabbath or stay awake and drink and party into Holy Sunday,
which I guess their punishment was to be turned to stone.
But an interesting legend, nonetheless, I love ancient legends,
and there's just a little bit of history about the incredible Stanton Drew stone circles.
Okay, let's go to the Middle East to present-day Israel to Mount Hermon,
the slopes of Mount Hermon, and talk about this ancient site
which is known as Nimrod's fortress.
And if you know anything about the Bible scripture and this Nimrod character,
Nimrod is a very interesting name to be given to this site combined with its location on Mount Hermon.
And so my big question out of the gate is, might this have been,
or might the ruins of this site have been Nephilim architecture?
So again, this site, Nimrod's fortress located on the slopes of Mount Hermon and northern Israel,
and was it associated with the ancient Nephilim.
Now, according to the book of Enoch, Mount Hermon is where the legendary watchers are said to have descended to earth
before taking wives who then birthed giants of old.
Enoch chapter 6 verse 6 says this, quote,
And they were all in 200 who descended in the days of Jared on the summit of Mount Hermon.
End quote.
And then Enoch chapter 6 verses 1 through 3 says this.
And it came to pass when the children of men had multiplied that in those days were born
unto them beautiful and comely daughters and the angels, the children of the heavens,
saw and lusted after them.
And said to one another, come, let us choose wives from among the children of men and beget
us children, end quote. And then Enoch chapter 7, verses 1 through 3 says this, quote,
and all the others together with them took unto themselves wives, and they became pregnant,
and they bear great giants. And then when we add the Genesis 6-4 scripture to this,
which states this, quote, there were giants in the earth in those days, and also after that,
when the sons of God came into the daughters of men, and they bear children to them,
The same became mighty men who are of old men of renown.
And that word giants is also translated Nephilim.
Okay, so we've talked about the watchers descending to earth,
breeding with earth women, and having these giant progeny known as the Nephilim.
And then when we look at Genesis 10, verse 8, it says this about mysterious Nimrod.
Quote, and Kush beget Nimrod,
he began to be a mighty one in the earth, end quote.
Now, when we look at the Hebrew text of this passage, we learn the following.
The word Nimrod in Hebrew means rebellion.
And he was known as being a great city builder and likely the founder of the kingdom of Babylon.
Okay, so we're establishing that Nimrod is mighty.
He's a great hunter.
He's a great city builder.
And it says he began to be a mighty one.
Now this phrase, quote,
He began in Hebrew,
means this,
to profane, defile,
pollute, desecrate.
Interesting.
And then when we take the phrase,
a mighty one,
remember,
he began to be a mighty one.
Again,
began means to profane,
defile,
desecrate the phrase a mighty one in Hebrew means strong champion tyrant giant yes giant in fact it's the same
word which is Hebrew gibor which Genesis 6 4 uses to describe the mighty men of old or the nephalim
Okay, so we have all of these parallels with Nimrod being a mighty hunter, a mighty city builder, and a giant, a tyrant, a champion, one who profane, defiled, polluted, desecrated, and both these scriptures in Genesis that refer to Nimrod and the Nephleum both use the same word, which talks about the
Nephilim. So this has led some to wonder if Nimrod was a Nephilim or somehow genetically transformed
himself into a Nephilim hybrid. So while the mainstream history narrative will tell us that this site
known as Nimrod's fortress is simply just a medieval fortress that was built during the medieval
Crusades, are its largest foundations actually much older than what was built on top of it?
To my eye, I believe so.
Was the medieval construction built on top of much older ruins?
Was this site one of Nimrods, the great city builders, first building projects in prehistory?
Was this site visited by the legendary watchers or their nefarious Nephilim offspring?
I can't help but wonder so, especially when you see some of the images of the base in the ruins of this site.
It looks similar to what we see in Peru.
It looks similar to what we see in other areas around the world where it looks like megalithic mortarless foundations
with smaller construction and stones stacked on top from a much later era.
Now, before I move on to our next topic,
let me just say really quick that you can join me to see this site,
this march on our ancient Israel and Petra tour.
We're going to go way off the beaten path.
We're going to see the most important ancient biblical sites on this tour,
but we're also going to go off-grid and try to find sites like,
this associated with the watchers in the Nephilim. So we're actually going to go to Mount Hermon
and try to find Nimrod's fortress and inspect these foundations ourselves. I hope you'll join me.
You can click the link in the show notes below or go to megalithic marvels.com slash tours to learn
about our Israel and Petra Tour. And you can still lock in our early bird price through the end
of October. All right, let's go to my favorite place on the planet. And that would be
Peru where archaeologists just several weeks ago uncovered a fascinating unique polychrome mural at a site
known as Waka Yolanda. And they estimate that this thing could be as old as 4,000 years old.
This mural measures approximately 20 feet long and it was found within a U-shaped temple, an area
possibly dedicated to water and fertility rituals. And what makes this discovery extraordinary,
is its three-dimensional design, a 3D looking.
The really features of fish-like figures,
one with a body resembling a woven fishing net,
alongside imagery of plants and stars.
And the mural was built from a clay mixed with organic material
and then painted in vivid colors,
showing the complexity of this pre-Inca ceremony.
art. And this discovery is really the first of its kind in this region, both for its sculptural depth
and its symbolic imagery. And the researchers on the ground there believe it represents sacred
connections to the sea, the stars, and agricultural fertility. So discoveries like this remind us
that Peru's ancient cultures were creating monumental art centuries before the rise of the Inca
empire simply incredible all right let's stay in peru and now we'll go to one of my favorite places in the
kusko region and that is known as the kori kansha and this was known as the temple of the sun the kori kansha was
the crown jewel of the inca empire and kori kansha basically means golden courtyard in ketchuan
because the temple of the sun was literally lined with gold and the korekansha basically means the golden courtyard in ketchuan because the temple of the sun was
literally lined with gold and the temple of the moon there was lined with silver.
There was a garden outside full of life-sized figurines of animals, people,
literally cast from pure gold and silver.
Imagine what that must have looked like, even during the time of the Inca.
Now there is a legendary tunnel that runs from beneath the Corricansha for at least a mile in a straight line
all the way to Soxie Waman, the greatest megalithic site in all of the Kusco area.
And the Incan priests are rumored to have taken all of their most valuable possessions
down into this tunnel to hide them, their gold, their silver, and most importantly,
their malchies or their elongated skull mummies.
Now, in the 1530s, Spanish conquistador Francisco Pissaro arrives with his
army in Kusko and they take control of the Inca capital and they capture Inca Emperor Atowalpa
and Pizarro has Atalpa send messages throughout the empire saying we will release your emperor
basically if you send us back all your gold and silver and so this is when the Spanish
begin to learn about all the treasure underneath the Cori Concha and they begin to sadly tear it
to its foundations and they later built on top of the Cori Concha Megalithic structure
with their Catholic Church and other colonial buildings.
And that's why when you go there today, it's almost confusing because when you're approaching
the Cori Concha, really what you see first and foremost looks like a, you know, Spanish-era
Catholic Church. It's not until you go inside that you realize they built over what the Inca had
found there. And the Inca, I don't believe, even built the Cori Concha. They might have
overlaid it with gold, but the Inca found a much older, megalithic style structure. And so that's what you
see when you go to the Cori Concha today and what you're seeing on video. You are seeing
a megalithic mortarless architecture. Okay, so back to the Spanish. They end up getting loads of golden
silver from the Inca and from Atalpa, but sadly they kill him anyway. So I say all that to set up
this legend, this incredible Incan legend, which describes the story of a Marumuru, who was basically
an Incan priest. And the legend goes that in order to escape the Spanish, he leaves the Cori
Concha Temple in Kusco with a golden disc. And this was of all the Inca's sacred artifacts,
This golden disc was the most revered.
It was, again, a sun disk made of pure gold,
located deep under the Coriq Consia.
And it wasn't just ornamental.
It wasn't just a ritualistic object.
It was said to be the key to a sacred doorway known as the gate of the gods.
And so according to the oral traditions, the Spanish arrive,
and Marumuru takes the golden disc.
from Kusko and the Kori Kancho Temple, and he travels far out into the distance, into a remote
land where there was a giant portal cut into an artificially flattened mountainside.
And in the center of this stone cutout was said to be a hollow into which he placed the sun disk.
And when he did so, the stone door shimmered and became bright.
And Amaru stepped through the portal and thereafter it returned to stone.
He was never seen again and the door never changed again.
And the solar disk was allegedly returned to the Cori Conch in Kusco,
where the Spaniards likely looted it along with the temple's other golden objects.
Now this legend would have likely been just dismissed as an outright fairy tale
if it were not for kind of two things.
One, the native populations continue to pass along this story as a historical occurrence.
And two, the doorway described in the legend seems to have been discovered in the 90s near Lake Titicaca.
And it is known as the Gate of the Gods or Amaru Muru.
And I got to visit this incredible site last year on our Peru tour.
It's near Lake Titicaca out in this remote area where you begin to see these really beautiful red sandstone hills.
And sure enough, cut into one of the sides is what the legend seems to describe this huge artificial cutout of this one outcropping.
And then in the center of that is another cutout, which, again, according to their own legends, the ancients call it a portal.
They call it a Stargate.
They call it the gate of the gods.
And let me give a shameless plug for our 2006 Peru and Easter Island tour.
This is going to be incredible.
I'm biased, but I think we have one of the best setups for Peru and Easter Island tours.
We have some of the best prices.
I believe we see all the best sites.
We don't just take you to the big famous sites.
We go off the beaten path, and we look for stuff that we believe.
was made by lost ancient civilizations with lost ancient technology and we make a point to see a lot of
elongated skulls and what I believe are humanoid hybrids on all our tours and so through
December you can still lock in our early bird price and get hundreds off either tour so I hope
you will consider joining us click the link in the show notes below or go to megalithicmarvels.com
