So what is up, everybody? In this episode, we are going to get into a lawsuit involving Mr. Beast and Mayan pyramids.
We're going to talk about a new discovery in Egypt.
Then I'm going to give a quick update on the whole Kauffrey Pyramid SARS-Scan discovery from a month or so ago.
And then I'm going to break down the Joe Rogan interview of infamous archaeologist Zahi Hawass that was released
oh a few days ago. I only watched the first 30 minutes. That's about all I could take,
but I'm going to give you my take on it. And then if I still have some extra time, I might talk to you
about Egypt's mysterious giant mummified finger that was discovered like back in the 80s. So this is
going to be an action-packed episode. But before we dive into these incredible topics, just a
Quick reminder if you haven't heard this November 5th through the 11th.
We have our secrets of Cambodia tour.
This is going to be incredible.
We are going to be looking for all the lost ancient technology of Anchor Wat
and the surrounding temples in Cambodia.
Right now you can lock in the price of only $1,39 for this complete tour.
And this deal ends the end of this month in May.
And also coming in March of 2006, we have our Israel and Petra tour.
This is going to be a Holy Land tour like none other.
And right now you can lock in the early bird price of 2,950 through the end of this month as well.
So again, go to Stargatevoyager.com slash tours or click the link in the show notes below of this episode to learn more.
And at the end of this episode, I'll come back and tell you a little bit more about these tours.
So I literally just got back from our Peru and Easter Island tour just a few days ago.
It was an incredible tour with incredible people.
I could literally spend the next hour talking about each of the individuals who came on our tour.
And it was really one of the greatest groups of people I've ever been with.
They just brought so much energy to the tour and so much humor.
I don't know if I've laughed that hard in a long time hanging out with people.
And that's what I love about my tours is we're strangers that come from all over different parts of the planet.
But what unites us is our love for exploration and ancient history.
And we have so much fun together that by the end of a week or two, it's like we've been at a kid's summer camp.
And we're like a family.
And so it was so fun hanging out with these people.
I had kind of told myself for some reason on this tour that I wasn't going to be buying any souvenirs,
but like once I buy one, then I can't stop.
And so I kind of went buck wild buying souvenirs for all my friends and family,
especially stuff from Easter Island.
But then I couldn't help but buy some incredible things for myself.
And the souvenir that I'm most excited about that I bought for myself,
I bought it in Peru at a site called Oiante Tombo,
right outside this ancient archaeological site.
which is one of Peru's largest is this village.
And my friend and tour guide Rumi said,
hey, my buddy who's one of the best stone artisans
actually has a booth over here.
Let's go check it out.
And so we go to this guy's booth,
and he's got all kinds of incredible carvings
of everything you can think of.
And there's all this stuff,
and we only have a few minutes,
but then I see them.
These elongated skulls,
carved out of stone. And to me, this is the next best thing I could have other than an actual
elongated skull, which is illegal to possess, basically. And so I tell the guy, hey, tell me about these
elongated skulls. And he says, here, hold it. And I pick up this elongated stone skull about this big.
And my hands almost drop to the ground. This thing is so heavy. This is not just an elongated
skull carved out of a stone. And no, this was carved out.
of a piece of asteroid or meteor.
And the guy even got a magnet to kind of test it,
the special magnet which stuck to it,
proving this was not just a rock,
this was a literal piece of meteor
that he actually paid good money for.
So I really wanted this souvenir,
but I'm thinking selfishly,
how am I gonna get this home?
Like this thing is so massively heavy.
Again, it's only about this big.
But I did it, I made the plunge.
I'm so excited.
excited that I got this and if you're watching by way of YouTube or Spotify you're going to see a
photo or video of this incredible artifact so awesome but this was an incredible trip I saw some new
sites in Peru that I'd never seen went to a museum I'd never been to of course went to
Easter Island for the first time and later this week I'm going to do an interview with a
friend who came on the tour with us a fellow researcher and explorer
And we're going to break down this tour, especially Easter Island.
So we'll be looking forward to that.
But it was an incredible tour.
All I can say is if you've never been to South America or to Peru or to one of my tours,
please consider joining us next year.
We're going to have another Peru tour.
That might be another combo Easter Island tour.
But again, I'm always learning and there's always so much new information to process.
One site that really jumped out at me unexpectedly, we went and saw the NASCAR Lions, which was mind-blowing to see that again.
But literally not far from the NASCA Lions is a little-known site called the Chaochila Cemetery.
Literally you're taking a bus like 40 minutes out into the middle of nowhere, the NASCA Desert.
Looks like an alien landscape.
But out here in the middle of nowhere is this ancient cemetery about,
2,000 years old. Archaeologists have excavated about 20 of these different cemeteries,
and there's probably hundreds of more that are still covered up. But they've uncovered about 20 of these
tombs or these cemeteries where you can go under this cover they've made and look down
and literally see mummified shamans 2,000 years old in their literal tombs.
And everything you are seeing is how they were buried, except for that the archaeologists have skillfully, you know, removed the debris so that you can see the floor of the cemetery and literally see the wrapped mummies in these tombs.
And these shamans, they all died, I found out, around the age of like 40 years old max.
So these people did not have a long life expectancy, which is pretty sad.
but they had incredibly long red hair, incredibly long dreadlocks.
So honestly, it was pretty creepy to see this incredibly long hair on these skulls.
And again, they were mummies that had been wrapped in these womb-like tapestries.
But because of the weather there, the faces, you know, that were exposed had just become skeletons.
But it was just mind bending to consider and realize that out here in the middle of nowhere,
where all you think is a Nazca Lines is this huge cemetery with hundreds, if not thousands,
of these ancient beings that were buried right there, and you can still see them today.
So this was one of the many highlights.
And again, be looking for the next episode with my friend Simon,
where we're going to break down the whole tour, especially the forbidden history of Easter Island or Rappanui.
So the world's most infamous YouTuber known as Mr. Beast is at the center of a lawsuit.
So what's happening is the Mexican government is suing the media house that produced Mr. Beast's latest video,
claiming that they violated the terms of an archaeological permit for the Mayan pyramids
by pushing the influencers' own snack brand and profiting from the heritage that belongs to all Mexicans.
So at the end of his video titled, quote,
I explored 2,000-year-old ancient temples, which has been viewed almost 65 million times in literally less than a week.
Mr. Beast, aka Jimmy Donaldson, he promotes his feastables chocolate peanut buttercup snack,
jokingly calling the product, quote, a special Mayan dessert and quote, the only Mayan
approved snack on the planet, end quote.
Obviously, that's some tongue-in-cheek humor that he's known for that people love.
He's probably just flown with it as the camera records.
So again, therefore, Mexican authorities are saying that the production company, known as Full Circle Media, was given a permit to film at the sites, but it didn't include commercial use.
Now, this contentious feastables scene where he talks about the snack appears to actually be filmed at his campsite, although the video doesn't state where exactly this part of the film was located.
A spokesperson for Mr. Beast told the New York Post, quote,
this video was meant to highlight these treasured Mayan sites in Mexico.
No advertisement material was shot on any archaeological sites overseen by the Mexican National Institute of Anthropology and History.
So it's unfortunate that this has turned into a political issue, end quote.
Mexico's National Institute of Anthropology and history posted a threat of,
about this on their ex account that was announcing the legal action, again, where they were kind of
saying that the 27-year-old YouTuber was spreading disinformation about the mind culture, and they said
this, quote, the nation's heritage, which is public by nature, cannot be exploited by commercial
enterprises. For this reason, the INAH has filed lawsuit against the production company
demanding compensation for damages and a public retraction, end quote.
An official from Mexico's Secretary of Culture posted this on X, quote,
we disagree with those who take advantage of the willingness of institutions to violate the terms of the authorizations granted, end quote.
However, the Mexican government's position on all this with a lawsuit against Mr. Beast is also coming under a lot of criticism by a lot of voices.
For example, many people are asking, why would the Mexican government give Mr. Beast a permission to go into the pyramids and capture all this content without knowing and watching his YouTube videos and knowing what he's all about?
Because he always promotes his snack brands.
Someone named Playa Del Carmen posted this on X, quote,
The mistake is not Mr. Beasts.
It is the one who gave them permission from the beginning without investigating.
getting the type of content he produces, end quote. In fact, at one point in Mr. Beast's video,
he's caught on the mic saying, quote, I can't believe the government's letting us do this, end quote.
And so again, he basically got access to areas that are restricted to any other tourists, including,
you know, Mexican residents. But I guess this is the access that money can buy when your net worth is like a
550 million. And again, I believe Mr. Beast is YouTube's most popular guy on the platform with a 395 million
subscribers. Crazy. All righty. And next on our list of incredible topics, we have a new discovery
in Egypt, folks. And I'm taking this from a Fox News article titled, Archaeologists Discovered Tomb of Egyptian
royalty behind false door, quote, unveils new secrets. And then the subtitle says,
Massive False Door made of pink granite dates back to about 2,400 BC. But I'll skim through this
article real quick, and it basically talks about how archaeologists were excavating, and they
see this granite false door, and they were stunned to find that it actually led to the tomb of
Egyptian royalty. The Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities announced the discovery in a recent
Facebook post last month in April, stating that the tomb was found at the Sakara archaeological site,
and that the tomb belonged to a prince named Usa Refri, or Awasir-Fra, the son of King Usurkov.
Usurkov was the founder of the 5th dynasty, which lasted from the early 25th century BC,
up until the mid-24th century BC.
And again, this tomb was concealed by this massive false door, as they call it,
according to the Egyptian officials, and it was made of pink granite.
And the door measures roughly 14 feet high by 3.5 feet wide.
If you're seeing this photo of the false door,
you can see how the pink granite stands out in stark contrast to what looks like a limestone
bedrock that surrounds it that the rest of the tomb was made out of. And this false door looks
superior to the rest of the tomb. The discovery marks the first time a door of this type was found
officials said. Although it's interesting to note that being in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo
multiple times now, I've seen almost identical false doors that look just like,
like this that line the museum in one section. All kinds of false doors. So that's kind of
really surprising actually to read that they're saying this discovery marks the first time a door
of this type was found. Again, because I've seen what if my memory serves me right, almost identical
doors in the Egyptian museum. The door was adorned with hieroglyphic inscriptions detailing the
prince's name and titles. It describes him as a hereditary prince,
regional governor of Bhutto and Nakhab, royal scribe, minister, judge, and chanting priest, end quote.
Archaeologists also found statues of King Josir, his wife, and his 10 daughters in the tomb,
plus a red granite table with a list of funerary offerings.
A large black granite statue was also found along with another tomb entrance,
which was also made of pink granite.
So this is a very interesting discovery, to say the least.
As I look at these photos in this Fox News article,
and I combine that with the knowledge I've gathered the last decade or so studying ancient Egypt,
I can't help wonder if there is multiple things going on with this tomb here.
Namely, the pink granite false door and this black large granite sand.
statue that was discovered in the tomb, they appear to me to be superior to the other artifacts and the
rest of the tomb itself. Leading me to believe that the black granite statue and this pink granite
stargate portal looking false door, I believe that these were likely made far before this
Egyptian official who died, but they were repurposed and reburied.
with him. I think this black granite statue and the pink false door likely predate the dynastic
Egyptians and were made by a prediluvian or antediluvian ancient Egyptians. I'm not trying to rock the boat
here. This is just my humble opinion based on what I'm seeing in these photos. All right, so a super
quick update on the Kauffrey pyramid SARS scan discovery that
happened a couple months ago and I'm going to be totally transparent up front. I really don't have
anything earth-shattering. Honestly, I haven't really seen any new earth-shattering information since
the original images were posted a couple months ago and the original discovery was announced.
If you missed all that news from a couple months ago, just a quick recap back in March,
I think it was March 16th at a small conference in Italy, this team known as the Coffrey research
team led by this scientist named Felipe Bionde. They basically released research findings
stating that they had uncovered superstructures under the Coffre pyramid, which is the middle
great pyramid. And this team shared how they had obtained this data by using an entirely
new non-invasive technique basically via satellite technology that they called SARS. So it was basically
a satellite or radar technology where a radar signal was sent and received that looks at multiple
angles to get a 3D image of structures. So they were using sound waves and they scanned deep inside
and under the pyramid. And then they created these 3D models or renderings of what they said
their data showed. So long story short, not only did they say that they found the presence of five
unknown structures inside the Coffre Pyramid, the middle pyramid.
But what's more is they said that underneath the pyramid were like eight massive cylindrical
structures that ran in pairs and descend way down to a depth of like 2,000 feet below the pyramid
and then connect into two colossal squared chambers.
And that these vertical shafts keep descending down,
thousands of more feet to where it looks like there's almost a buried city way, way, way under
this Coffray pyramid. So that was the news that shocked the world in March. And you've had all kinds
of people celebrating this news. You've had all kinds of skeptics and debunkers slamming this news.
So I've kind of just been waiting to find any more new information. I've been following the
Facebook page of this Coffrey Pyramid Research Project team. I've been watching some of their
interviews, and honestly, there just hasn't been a lot of new information. The last video I watched
on this was one just put out a few days ago by Gaia, in partnership with Megalithomania, I believe,
with Hugh Newman and Andrew Collins, two researchers I greatly respect. And they sat down with
the two main guys from the Kauffrey research pyramid project led by Felipe
Biandi.
And so I watched the entirety of that interview.
It was a guy from guy that was interviewing the four of them.
And Hugh and Andrew always have great information they're sharing, but it was more about
how what the SARS scans have allegedly discovered could impact Turkey and
Gaubeckli Tepe and Karahan Tepe and what might be under
the ground there. But there really wasn't new, any new news about the alleged discoveries of
Filippo Biondi regarding the Coffre pyramid. And so I was really paying attention to what
Filippo was saying. The one thing he said that I took note of and wrote down, the interviewer
asked him, so why the Coffre pyramid? Why not the Great Pyramid? Why did you scan that one? Why the
Kaffrey middle pyramid. And Bionde said, because it is the center of the Giza Plateau,
it's like he was hinting that if you know what I know, this is at the dead center of the Giza
plateau. And this is why we chose that pyramid. It's almost like he's going to release more
information about how it's the center of the center. But then he went on to say, when you look at the
scans they produced and how it's colorful, you know, the orange and the yellow and the green.
He says the color you see in these images is not noise. These are actual targets of real structures
located inside and under the Coffrey pyramid. Again, you have a lot of skeptics out there.
We're probably saying, well, what you see in these images is just, you know, sound waves and that's the
result of noise, but Biondi doubled down and said no. These are actual targets of real structures
located inside and under the Coffray Pyramid. I thought it was interesting that he said that.
But that's all I got for you. That is your update. Sorry, there's not a lot more news when there is.
I will try to be one of the first to post it here. Okay, let's talk about Joe Roe.
Rogan and Zahi Hawass.
This was a real popular episode for everybody in the history world, history community.
We all know Joe Rogan has had all these great interviews with Graham Hancock the last couple years
and the debate between Graham Hancock and Flint Dibble.
And so now Joe is, you know, smoking a piece pipe and he's bringing on the complete other side,
Zahi Hawas, which represents.
the mainstream
Egyptological community.
Zahi Hawas is one of the most famous
Egyptologists in the world
who once led the Ministry of Antiquity in Egypt.
So you got Zahi Hawas, total mainstream,
and then you've got guys like Graham Hancock,
Jimmy Corsetti,
which would be in more of the alternative history camp.
So as you probably know,
Joe Rogan is famous for these super long episodes,
sometimes three hours,
I was actually surprised to see that this interview with Zahi Hawass was only an hour and a half.
But to be honest, I could only take the first 30 minutes.
I meant to listen to the whole episode, but I just couldn't.
I just can't.
I could not listen to Zahi for more than 30 minutes.
30 minutes alone was tough enough to do.
But a lot of people are out there posting their thoughts on this interview.
check out Jimmy Cressetti on Twitter.
He had some great points.
Andrew Collins had a great post on Facebook, sharing some of his thoughts.
And so I'm going to give some of my thoughts here.
But I was kind of surprised by a couple things.
One, I was surprised to learn that Joe Rogan has never been to Egypt to this day.
You know, all the episodes he's done, especially with Graham Hancock,
talking about lost technology, ancient civilization.
the impossible technology in Egypt.
I guess I just assumed that a guy like Joe Rogan had been to Egypt,
but he never has.
He's never seen the Great Pyramids.
So that was interesting.
I also took note of how gracious of a host I felt like Joe Rogan was with Zahi,
at least for the first 30 minutes.
Maybe after that he started to lose it and lost the grace.
But from what I was hearing,
He was more than gracious with Zahi, who to me came off pretty arrogant.
For example, he stated right at the beginning that, you know, he gives three to four lectures per week to American groups about ancient Egypt.
And how he gets endless emails and how he's made all these discoveries.
And it just sounded like a lot of me, me, I, I.
And so right out of the gate, to me, Zahi just kind of starts to make some bizarre, strange comments.
And here was the first big one.
And I'm paraphrasing pretty close to what he said here, but he tells Americans that if you stood in front of the Great Pyramid and you look at it,
you'll never believe that this pyramid was built by human beings.
Why?
Because you do not know.
And if you try today to do it, you'll never be able to do it.
But if you did try it today, you would have to hire 10,000 workmen to work 10 to 28 years for nothing.
And then after this comment, he stated that the pyramid was the national project for the whole nation.
So there's so much to unpack in this first kind of big statement he makes with Joe Rogan.
again, he's saying that if you stand in front of the Great Pyramid, you could never believe that it was built by human beings.
Why?
Well, because you do not know.
But if you try to do it today to build the Great Pyramid, you'll never be able to do it.
Because you'd have to hire 10,000 workers who would have to work for 28 years for nothing.
I think he means no wages.
So very strange.
The next big statement he made that I took.
Nota was that he receives about 50 fan emails a week and that he got an email from a reporter from
California who told him that he believes a conspiracy theory that Zahi goes to his bathroom
in his office every day about noon and that inside the bathroom is a secret tunnel that connects to
the great pyramid and that he goes inside the tunnel to visit the great pyramid where he hides
things and then he comes back to his office through this tunnel that goes to his toilet.
And so Zahi goes on to say, you know, how he invited this reporter to come and check out his
office in his bathroom.
And so the reporter came out from California, investigated his office, looked in the toilet,
couldn't find a tunnel, and published the photos of his bathroom on.
And then he proceeds to tell Joe Rogan that people attack me badly.
And so this was a constant theme in the first 30 minutes is that people attack him badly.
But he would go to these extreme conspiracy theories like the tunnel in his office through the toilet, right?
It was like a distraction almost.
It's kind of like he's chalking all of this up to this is what the crazies believe.
and I'm not crazy.
And here's how the pyramids really were built, if that makes sense.
So all of this was like in the first five or ten minutes.
And Joe is trying to kind of just bring the conversation back to like, okay, tell me how the
Egyptians built the pyramids.
And Joe makes the point that, well, the reason there's so many crazy theories Zahi is that
the great pyramids are unlike anything else on earth.
They are colossal. They're incredible. They're monumental. They're above and beyond anything that has ever else ever been built or achieved. And how what they did thousands of years ago still puzzles us today. And then Zahi responds in this real confident manner in states, I will tell you how it was built. And so Zahi then says, we published a book. It's thousands of pages. He's talking about his own book. I can't remember the title of it.
And he goes, we have all the evidence.
And it's like a Bible for the pyramids of the Giza Plateau.
And then he stated that, quote,
most of the archaeological books on the pyramids are wrong
except for my work and Mark Liener.
And so Joe kind of chuckles at this and says,
wow, really, you're saying that all of the other archaeologists are wrong.
And you and this Mark Liener guy are kind of,
the only ones that have it right?
And Zahi's like, yeah.
And so that was kind of a shocking thing to hear.
It's not like Zahi's saying,
Graham Hancock and all the alternative history guys are crazy and wrong.
He was basically saying most of the archaeological books on the pyramids are also wrong.
And that only I'm right, only my book is right.
I have all the evidence and I have thousands of pages.
And so Joe pushes back a little bit more on this and says, again, how are you two the only guys that have this right?
And Zahi basically answers and says, because I've been studying this for 57 years and I've excavated every piece of sand.
Wow.
I mean, obviously that's a figure of speech.
But he says, I've been studying this for 57 years.
And I've excavated every piece of sand.
Wow, that is some confidence right there.
The episode continues about the 20-minute mark Zahi talks about how he found the tombs of the pyramid builders only one mile south of the great pyramids.
And that this was a major discovery and it proves the pyramids were built by Egyptians because of the names that they found inside the seminians.
And while he's explaining this part, his phone starts to buzz or ring.
And Joe is like, is that your phone?
And Zahi's like, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's my phone.
And he kind of mumbles and says, I do so many interviews, I forget to silence my phone.
And so again, it was kind of this funny interaction.
But again, it just kind of goes back to the big head of Zahi that,
How do you go on Joe Rogan and not forget to silence your phone?
So after this whole phone interruption piece, Zahi continues talking about these tombs, he discovered of the workers of the pyramids.
And he talks about how these were very primitive tombs made of mud bricks.
But he states that the titles in one of the tombs was basically called the overseer of the west side of the pyramid.
So in Zahi's mind and in the Egyptological mind, this is total proof that these primitive guys, I guess, built the great pyramids.
He then stated that inside these tombs, they found tools that the workers used to cut the stones.
And he said they were diorite and flint tools.
And then he mentioned that they discovered the ruins of an old bakery and barracks in a place where they salted fish.
and they found thousands of animal bones which the pyramid builders ate,
which proves that they slaughtered 11 cows and 33 goats every day
while building the Great Pyramids.
Therefore, he says they were feeding 10,000 of these workers a day.
And then he stated again that the Great Pyramid Building Project was a national project.
He kept saying that multiple times in the first 30 minutes,
that the pyramids were a national project.
And he went on to say something about, you know,
the 30 million people that were living there
all around the Great Pyramids were all sending workers every day.
And so I think what he was trying to say was that's how they did it.
They were so unified.
They so wanted to build these superstructures
that they were sending laborers.
They were sending food.
That is what he said.
and it just all came together.
Now, in Zahi's defense, I know English is not his first language.
So he speaks in broken English.
And so I know he needs to have grace with that.
Yet the whole conversation just felt so elementary.
So this conversation is going on.
And then Zahi makes another really strange comment.
And I've got the literal quote here.
He said, quote,
we discovered that all the stones from the three pyramids came from quarries in the site itself, end quote.
That's a direct quote.
Okay, and that's a major quote.
And Joe interrupts him quickly and says, wait, but what about the granite inside the great pyramid in the king's chamber?
And then Zahi nods and says, okay, yes, well, except for that, that did come from as one.
And Joe pushes back with, but that's like 500 miles away, right?
And Zahi's like, yeah.
And then Joe pushes back again and says, but don't those stones way between 50 and 80 tons each?
And Zahi replies, it doesn't matter.
And Joe replies back with some classic humor.
It'd matter if I was working on the Great Pyramid.
And so to me, this was a fascinating interaction because it's like Zahi doesn't
know what Joe knows and he was going to try to get away with saying all the stone and all three of the pyramids comes right there from Giza on site like there's no mystery to it.
But Joe got him with, yeah, but the biggest 80 ton stones inside the great pyramid came from Aswan 500 miles away.
and his only response was,
it doesn't matter.
So to me, he was clearly triggered on that,
which is kind of a giveaway that Joe was over the target on that piece.
And so the conversation is moving on,
and then Zahi kind of out of the blue looks at Joe and says,
you know what, I'm going to tell you one thing,
that if you tell me that the pyramids were built by giants,
I will say, okay, come to the excavation,
and you'll see that the skeletons were only five and six feet tall.
And then Joe responds with, well, who's saying the pyramids were built by giants?
So if you've followed me for any decent period of time,
you know one thing I'm big on is looking into the ancient law regarding giants
and the legends of ancient giants and Genesis 6 and the Nephilim and the book of Enoch
and the large skeletons that have been discovered in all 50 states in North America.
So yes, I believe that a race of ancient giants once existed,
but that doesn't necessarily mean that I believe that it was only ancient giants
that built the great pyramids of Giza.
Could there have been ancient giants in Egypt?
Yes, I think so.
And in fact, I'm going to show you a photo and give you some news about a crazy and mummified
finger was discovered in Egypt in the 70s or 80s.
But that doesn't mean that I believe these Herculane giants were stacking big blocks and
building the pyramids.
I believe it was high technology.
Resonance could have been involved.
Levitation could have been involved, as we might get into.
But again, it's like Zahi goes after the biggest fringe topics regarding the pyramids
as a distraction to make him look like he's the serious one.
So again, right about the 30-minute mark,
this is the last interaction that I heard Zahi and Joe are talking.
And again, Zahi kind of looks at Joe out of the blue and says,
let me tell you how they made the pyramid.
Number one, they make on the ground a square base.
And after that, they cut into the size.
solid rock on the four sides.
And Joe is kind of just going like, oh, wow, okay.
So in the middle of giving us these important key steps on how they built the pyramid,
Zahi goes on a rabbit trail on how he discovered, he alone found pieces or ruins of the
ramps that they used to lift the blocks while building the pyramids.
And so Joe's going, oh, wow, can we find pictures of this?
and he's telling his producer, find the photos of the tools that Zahi has discovered from the
pyramid builders who built the pyramids and find a picture of this ramp.
And his producer is like, I can't find any photos.
And so Joe's like, Zahi, where's the pictures?
And he keeps saying, well, they're in my book.
And Joe's like, well, these are some of the greatest discoveries on earth you're talking about.
How is there no picture of these online?
And Zahi just keeps saying, look in my book.
So there you have it.
There's kind of my recap of the first 30 minutes of this Joe Rogan Zahi Hawass episode.
Maybe it got a lot better after 30 minutes, maybe into an hour, hour and a half.
Again, 30 minutes is all I could take.
And it was entertaining nonetheless just watching Zahi sing Joe interact.
At least it was entertaining.
And I'll try to link the full episode.
in the show notes below if you want to wash it in its entirety.
So speaking of the pyramids and giants,
we got to talk about this infamous giant mummified finger.
So according to a German newspaper called Build, B-I-L-D,
there was a Swiss guy named Gregor Spori
who took a number of photos of a mummified giant finger
in 1988.
So this guy, Spori was visiting Egypt, and he finds the owner of this finger who lived north
of Cairo somewhere.
And this guy was telling him about the finger.
And so Gregor paid this guy, apparently $300 to see the finger and take pictures of it.
And so these photos that you are going to see are apparently from 1988.
but they're great because it shows this mummified finger,
which looks 100% legit and real to me.
It shows the scale of it next to the Egyptian money that you see in the photos.
So according to what Spori told this German newspaper build
when the original article was written years ago,
the finger was nearly 14 inches long,
so it would have belonged to someone between,
15 and 16 feet tall.
And this discovery was only revealed in 2012.
The owner of the mummified finger told Gregor
that it was actually found 150 years ago
and had been kept in his family and passed down.
And the family had even gone through the trouble
of getting the finger x-rayed
to confirm its authenticity in the 19-7.
60s. Again, Spori got to observe it, photograph it, and according to what he said, he got to actually
hold the finger, and he said that it was very old, it was organic and, quote, humanoid. He said the
finger looked like it had been cut off with anatomical precision, and in some places the finger
was crumbling. It had leathery skin. It was ripped in places. And he said, the
skin was a few millimeters thick. He said between the dried skin folds he could see the
remains of fungus and that the nail on the finger was even loose. So that's very
descriptive. Again to me the photos appear authentic but this is crazy to consider if this
thing is real we're looking at a mummified finger that would have belonged to a 15 or
or 16 foot tall entity. I'd love to know what you think is this finger real. Did it belong to a giant
ancient Egyptian mummy? If you're able to leave me a comment in this episode and let me know if you
think it's real or fake. And if you believe ancient giants of Egypt were a fan. Well, I hope you
enjoyed this episode. Don't forget to subscribe to this podcast from wherever you watch or
