Ha ha, laugh, funny.
Mention It All.
A Bravo by Betcha's podcast.
We don't say that, but now we said it.
With Dylan Hafer.
Oh, go on track, me, though.
And Barry Rosenfeld.
I need to start drinking alcohol.
Now go to sleep week.
Hey, everyone.
Welcome back to the Mention at All podcast.
I'm Dylan Hafer.
And I'm Barry Rosenfeld.
It's Monday.
It's Monday.
We are feeling nice and refreshed.
Ready to start a new week.
That's the attitude, Dylan.
Yes.
You were watching the Grammys last night, correct?
Of course.
That went to like 1140 because...
Are you okay?
Is everything okay?
Yeah, I just dropped my phone.
Get so excited thinking of the Grammys, the music, the talent, the fashion,
Taylor Swiftam album of the year.
Yes, a big victory for you, I know.
And Beyonce.
and Beyonce.
Megan Estalian, Billy Eilish,
lots of favorites in that group.
I mean, wait, listen,
I can talk about the Grammys all day long,
but I do have one question.
Do you not feel like when these types of shows happen
that there's,
and I know this is the case,
but that there's just like a select amount of people there.
Like it was just Taylor, Billy, Meg,
Beyonce, duly, but that's it.
I feel like when I was little,
there was like 100 people there,
but maybe there wasn't.
Well, I feel like it's a little different this year because I think they probably didn't really have other than kind of like the core like nominees and presenters.
Yeah.
They weren't kind of like those random extra invites.
Like normally, you know, there could be.
I would be there.
Yeah.
A million.
Yeah.
Like.
But yeah, it was a fun night.
I thought they did a good job.
I thought it was amazing.
It was, you know, really nice to have everyone there in person.
and from what they showed us,
they seemed like they did a good job making it safe.
So I have no complaints.
And it felt very intimate.
Like I loved one.
Each person performed.
They were there.
Like Billy I wish was like rocking out to hyme the band,
you know?
And they were all like supporting each other.
And it was like really nice.
I loved it.
And compared to the other unfortunate Zoom award shows we had this year,
the Grammys nailed it.
Yes, I agree.
So our one little piece of,
of news before we talk about Real Housewives of Atlanta. It looks like Lala Kent is in labor.
Randall posted yesterday on Instagram a picture of her in a hospital bed and said,
and so it begins. And then more recently, just 13 hours ago posted a picture of her
hospital bracelet and said still going strong. So that was 13 hours ago. Perhaps she's had the
baby by now, but it's definitely coming. I definitely, yes. I think if she didn't already, it's any
minute, but at the same time, like, if that were my husband, I'd be like, it, can you not?
No. Oh, my God. Yeah. Like, if you want to, if you want to post a teaser, post like a pretty
picture of her and be like, it's coming. Don't, you don't have to post the picture of her, like,
turning her face away in the hospital bed. But, you know, I feel like Randall is kind of cringe in
that way. It's not new. But I'm excited for them. Brittany posted that her countdown has begun.
So I think she is due any day now.
I love what people say the countdown has begun. It began when the day you found out you were pregnant because you're...
Yeah. But she's super pregnant. I think, I think Minnie Sheena is going to be here any day now.
Oh my Lord. It is funny. Obviously, Stasi had her baby in January, I guess, but...
Two months ago, yeah. But Lala, Brittany, and Sheena really are right about on the same timeline. It's funny how that works.
We are going to be talking about babies for a long time.
which I love. I'm happy with that. But we probably will talk about them too much.
Yeah, no. But right now, let's talk about Atlanta, okay? Because there's no baby. Somebody in this
cast, I would say, is kind of being a baby. And I think that would be Kenya Moore because
she just, for the life of her, cannot stop talking about what happened in South Carolina. And
the episode starts at Cynthia's rehearsal dinner, which is at her home. If that's what you want to call it.
Well, that's what they called it.
So I will call it by its name.
But it is at Lake Bailey.
It was supposed to be outdoors.
But then, of course, we know that there's a hurricane coming through Atlanta.
So it's inside.
There were a lot of people there.
And Barry, who catered the event?
Pizza.
Papa Johns.
It was Papa Johns.
Oh, that's where I knew.
I didn't see that.
I still was pizza.
But oh, my God.
I recognize those boxes from every middle school pizza party.
I have never had Popa Jans.
Papa John's, I obviously know what it is, but it's not, like, it's not, I didn't grow up with it around me. So I never like had it. But I have heard great things. But also I just have to say, I was being that. I was being. It's kind of like a, it's kind of like a, of like less. It's like a more vanilla version of dominoes. Like to me, it's not that it's bad. It's just like plain. Here's the thing. As much as we can talk about Grammys, I can talk about pizza for this long.
too. And my
question is, aren't
regular, like, actual pizza joints
like better than
these delivery places or no? Is that
an unpopular opinion? Or are
the dominoes, the Papa John's better than
pizza places? No,
that's definitely not the case. Like... Okay, good.
I was like, I'm from New York, so I know
the pizza here is good. I don't know about elsewhere.
Okay, so there's like, there's, in
where I live, there's a, like,
a real pizza spot
like a block away. And then there's
the dominoes that's like a block away. And I will, I will get the dominoes occasionally,
but only when I'm in the mood for like fast food, like greasy. Or when you're drunk or
hung over. Right. It's a specific, it's a specific like slot in my pizza consumption, but it's not
if I want like, if I'm, if like, if I'm having friends over and we want pizza for dinner,
I'm not getting dominoes. Correct. Okay. Great. As long as we're on the same page of that. But
okay. For rehearsal dinner, I'm getting, I'm getting the pizzeria. Like, right. So here's a
thing, though, about Cynthia, she really has been in this episode or two so aware of the fact
that everything's been going wrong that she is so calm. And I love that about her because she's
not being a bridezilla. Like she had way too many people in her house, but not even with COVID,
it doesn't exist. There's too many people in the rain. You're freaking out. You're going to marry the
next day. Like, you don't want to be hosting. You need cater. Is that, you know, like, so she was like,
you know what? It is what it is. And I was like, I love that attitude about that because in the
there's nothing she could do. That's it. It's funny. It's funny because she was like so adamant about
the fact that she was going to have her big ass wedding on 10, 10, 10, 20 and that was going to happen.
But then when it comes down to it on the day, she's like, I think she knows that she kind of
got what she got like something that she probably shouldn't have been able to to begin with.
So she's like, I can't expect any of the details to go right.
but I'm having my big wedding on 10, 10, 20, and it is what it is.
Yeah, she said something where, oh, when she was like, we did everything we could,
we have temperature checkers, which are also called thermometers, we have, like, masks being provided.
We have this.
We encourage people to get tested.
But like that, and she was like just, again, adamant about having the wedding.
And I can't not remember for life.
I don't know why I didn't write this down what she said one line about it.
But there are other people who canceled their wedding in the world.
So you are entitled to have it.
You are.
We've said this before.
Of course you are.
But it's not going to be the full effect that it would have if COVID wasn't here.
And she has this attitude because I guess, I mean, certainly people I know were talking shit about her having this wedding during COVID.
But I guess like blogs or tabloids were kind of giving her shit for it.
And she's like, I just wish they would also mention.
all the precautions. And it's like, I'm sorry, but like, if you're looking at like the shade room or
all about the tea, like, it's not their job to look up your list of precautions. Like,
yeah, it's kind of like she gave the, she gave like the interview to people where they wrote about
all her safety precautions. And like, that's all you can really expect. Like, you can't have a massive
event in the middle of a pandemic and just assume that nobody's going to have questions.
That was totally it when she said that she wished people talking.
about the good, but like, there is it because of how many people had to cancel theirs, like,
whatever. But also, um, the plate, well, let's go back to Kenya. The thing, when they were on the
porch while talking, Evo is there, which was good to see her. Eva, the Diva. Great. Oh, my God.
That was not the time or place. How quickly she's been relegated to Cynthia's friend.
I know. That was not the timer place, though, for Kenya to like bring up what she brought up.
It's again, how many times have we made this analogy?
Like, Teresa and Jeff, stop bringing it up.
It's over.
Like, and also those people, Mallory wasn't there.
So, like, yeah, she was asking.
But like, as a joke, you know, she's like, what went on down there?
She wasn't, like, literally asking for details.
That was all kind of.
This episode is brought to you by Prime.
Obsession is in session.
And this summer, Prime originals have everything you want.
Steamy romances, irresistible love stories,
and the book to screen favorites you've already read
twice. Off campus, L, every year after, the love hypothesis, Sterling Point, and more.
Slow burns, second chances, chemistry you can feel through the screen. Your next obsession is waiting.
Watch only on Prime. So Kenya, she kind of brings up, they ask her in her confessional, you know,
why do you feel like it's your duty to like put this out there? Because she is acting like it's,
you know, her, you know, God-given duty that's so important that the truth gets out there about what happened with Bolo.
And she basically says, well, if it was me, these other women, there's no way they would be keeping my stuff private.
They would be telling everyone, anyone who would listen.
And she also says that even in this specific situation, she needs to get the truth out there so people don't lie on her.
And it's like, I understand, I understand where she's coming from.
Like, I get, I get the idea that these women probably wouldn't have Kenya's back in, in a similar situation.
I think there's a good possibility that she's correct about that.
But that doesn't mean that it's right for her to then throw Portia and Tanya under the bus.
Because it's like, okay, so why aren't we doing unto others as you would have them do unto you?
Like you slinging Porsche's shit into the street is only going to make it worse the next time you do something and Porsche is trying to come after you.
Right. It's like her plan actually backfired. She did it like she was very on the defense. Like in case if this were to me, they didn't. But now if something does, you're toast.
Right. It could have been such a fun, silly night that happened in South Carolina. And you maybe talk around it on the show. It's good fun. Like everybody knows that you had.
a wild night and then you just kind of move on, but instead it's creating this big divide in the
group. But the divide is really just Kenya and sort of Latoya versus everyone else. Because
even, you know, Portia and Drew are obviously really close right now, but Candy and Cynthia don't
actually want all of this out there either. Like, they're not enjoying Kenya's messiness. Right. So,
okay, so then let's talk about niece's night. Shemia hosts Nisa's Night, which I thought was so cute.
it was for the nieces and they were pretending to be in Nice France, but they spelled it Nice.
I was like, that's very cute.
I didn't realize at the beginning.
I thought they just misspelled niece and it was like a French theme.
And then I was like, oh, that's pretty clever.
Yeah, it was cute.
But she had shirts made for them.
It was, it was very sweet.
But it was, it turned when Latoya like got there because she really was like starting with Porsche, but in a really like not a good way.
and she got shut down pretty quickly.
But then they all made her, everyone think, like, is she one of Kenya soldiers?
Like, is she just doing her dirty work and not doing a good job at it, by the way?
And Portia very quickly was like, don't come, like, don't even start with me.
It's not going to happen.
It's interesting.
Latoya was the last one to show up.
And I was actually surprised that she even was invited.
Like, I just assumed that it was Drew Porsche and Shamiya.
And then Latoya walked in and I'm like, oh, I guess.
Oh, and Marlowe. Yeah. So. And the hashtag gate and hashtag gate. Like she think there's people like involved in the hashtag. And by the way, I just have to call out Marlowe because I love this. When she said pound, it wasn't me. Because I was like, I love that. She just called it a pound sign because that's what it was. That's what it is before hashtag. Yeah. It is interesting though. So there's this whole hashtag thing that Kenya and Latoya have both posted like hashtag it wasn't me. And the whole vibe is that.
that like if there's a rumor going around that two of them slept with the stripper and they're
putting out there it wasn't me it's like this suggestion that it's like oh well like process of
elimination it has to be two of the other ladies and i get why you know drew and porcia and shimea and
marlowe are kind of like why are you like feeding into kenya's thing of like putting stuff out
so everybody's going to try to figure it out it's like if you just stop talking about it it'll go
away, but by posting these like, you know, kind of sly hashtags and stuff, it's just going to
keep the chatter about it going on.
Which is exactly their plan because it had nothing to do with them. So like it, it's weird.
But also they did. Did you catch on to this that they kept going back when Kenya said,
if it was, if it was TMZ, like that would be different. But then they went back to that and kept
and replayed it over again. So I was like, well,
And also Porsche called out Latoya.
She was like, it was you that leaked the article.
I was like, oh.
Well, but then the thing is Kenya had specifically said, if it was a B. Scott, then maybe that would be me.
And the specific article that named Portia and Tanya was from B. Scott.
So it's like, okay, either that's-
You and I when we were like, just don't say any.
We were like, why did you say anything?
It's like, okay, Miss Kenya, either that's a big coincidence or you just kind of told on
yourself because either way it doesn't look great. Exactly. But I don't know. I feel like
Latoya just needs to like relax and like have fun with the ladies and stop. Like it's very
obvious that it's like she's in the middle of trying to choose what side she wants to be on. But it's
like just chill. Yeah. I think it's tough because obviously Kenya was her first sort of
close friend in the group and the first person who kind of like took her in within the group.
And so she feels this kind of like pull from Kenya and probably a sense of, you know,
that she owes something to Kenya because she kind of showed her the ropes.
But then I have a, I feel like she actually would rather be friends with Porsche and Marlo and the fun group.
But, but because of this kind of weird thing that Kenya sort of has over her, she feels like,
oh, like, I should still like, I should still like play along with Kenya.
I can't like. And yeah, I like it's weird at this basement. It should be in his basement. A switch
kind of flips and all of a sudden, Portia and Drew are like, fuck this. Like we don't want to be like hanging out with you and like playing like we're cool with you if you're going to, you know, go behind our backs and still kind of be spreading this. And I love Drew's like Latoya forever. No bitch. You're Latoya. Never, never, never.
Yeah. I mean, they got into it. But.
I feel like, I don't know now.
They're cool.
I don't know.
I would be on my tippy toes around her too.
But it's always annoying when you're at a really fun, like, low-key night, like,
nieces night.
And like there's someone there that you're not really getting along with and you don't trust.
You feel like you can't totally be yourself.
And that's, I feel like what's happening.
They just want to hang out in their little matching shirts with their ho nicknames on them and play their dirty jenga.
Like, just let them be.
The shirts looked so, like, uncomfortable.
Like, I would have rather it a big loose t-shirt.
That's all I can think about.
I was like, I don't like tight, like, long-lo-leaf shirts.
The tightest little cutoff t-shirt I've ever seen.
And, like, she didn't look bad in it, but it did not look comfortable.
No, but she took it off.
So it all is good.
Any time that we get a mention of Shamiya being Fagina drip just makes me lose it.
I love Shamiya.
I really do.
I had no idea going into this season that Shamiya was really going to be a full friend of.
And it's been a fun surprise because I actually feel like this is kind of the most she's ever contributed to a season.
And I'm enjoying it for sure.
Because I also love Shemia and Portia's friendship.
Yes.

As the Krispy Chicken sandwich from 7-Eleven, people always call me loud.
And I'm like, yeah, I know.
I'm crispy.
Did you expect me to whisper?
If you want quiet, go eat some soup and reflect.
Like I know I'm a handful.
I'm bold, I'm juicy.
Throw some pickles and barbecue sauce on me and baby I'm a whole meal.
And with seven rewards, I'm just $4.
Quiet.
No.
Krisby, saucy and $4?
Very.
Only at 711.
Valley 36-2326, participating stores only while supplies lastly out for full terms.
All right.
So the day is here.
The day is here.
Tantan 20.
Tantan 20 has arrived.
And there's...
And Drew doesn't have a voice.
Drew doesn't have a voice.
So added to the laundry list of things gone wrong.
But the thing is, so because of the protocol, the crew wasn't allowed to film at the wedding,
but it looked like they were able that was their filming of the getting ready and stuff.
I was like, wait, this is not cell phone footage.
This is like really high end.
I mean, high quality.
Yeah.
Clearly there was some kind of videographer there, whether it was Bravo cameras or not.
There was a good amount of footage backstage.
I don't know if that's the word use at wedding.
But,
backstage.
Cynthia looked gorgeous.
That moment of her walking down,
but slowly and taking in everything and like shaking hands with people walking down.
I was like, this is a queen.
Those photos of Cynthia and Noel are just like stunning.
They look so beautiful together.
Yes.
And Cynthia's second dress of her and Mike sitting in those Matt Hallwhite.
Like that was vanity fair.
Like, oh my God.
Those wedding photos really are gorgeous.
I remember that night being on Instagram.
I'm like watching everybody post their pictures and stuff.
And at first I was kind of like, I don't know about this dress.
But in the photos, it looks really great.
Yeah, but the fit.
And then they were showing all the different housewives and other famous people that were there.
I'm really sad.
I'm really sad because they had masks on.
If they didn't, if they had been able to film it for real, like for the show,
we probably would have gotten like fun little scenes with Jaze and Choray and Karen.
Yeah.
And it was too bad that we couldn't have sort of those.
moments because the film crew wasn't there, but it was still fun to see. The wedding looked
beautiful. You know, it was, it just seemed like a nice event. There's not honestly a ton to say
because there wasn't any like drama at the wedding, but. Well, you're right, but there was one
little ounce that we got. They gave us something where Eva was like, you look, it was beautiful.
Oh my God. And then it showed like guest Mike and it was someone, a random stranger she was talking to
and they were talking about what happened at South Carolina. And I was like,
that is the only mic like voice whatever you got from the wedding was a random person gossiping
about what they heard at the bachelorette party like it's it is what it is i feel like for this
like oh jesus fix it yeah like it's you know okay there was some munching going on whatever
i feel like after this after this episode maybe one more i feel like we need to move on from the
Bolo stuff.
Like it is what it is.
Whatever happened happened.
I don't think.
That's tripper out of a huge dick.
That's the thing.
I don't think anyone in this group is ever going to own up to leaking a story.
And so it's kind of like, okay, like let Kenya just like wear herself out talking about it and then move on.
Right.
And sorry, one major thing at Nisa's night because of this, Latoya was like, he said in a video like you were the one that had sex with
and Porsche goes, white, you're lying.
And, like, she did that to try to get Porsche to confess to it.
And I was like, come on.
You think Porsche would be like, you're he did.
I'm pretty sure Bolo has stuck to his story that nothing sexual happened,
probably because that's his job.
So then our final scene of the episode, Portia and Dennis, meet up for some drinks.
And so Dennis was at the wedding.
And Portia had been kind of, like, a little bit uneasy about.
seeing him and then things were made worse when he posted something on Instagram saying that he
was single as fuck and she was kind of upset about that because their relationship status wasn't
super out there in the public she hadn't really said anything about it and obviously they weren't
going to the wedding together but I think they weren't going to bring dates it was you know it was
just kind of like it was what it was and then he sort of blew up the spot and so they're having this
conversation and it's just so clear and Porsche finally kind of says it that it's like there is no
reason for these two to be going back and forth like this like they don't they shouldn't be together
they're not good for each other they're not even really that into each other like just end it
we literally saw a breakup like on television but to be honest i really it was a very mature adult
conversation. She was like, if we didn't have a baby together, we wouldn't probably, we wouldn't
be talking. I would be over you. You would be over me. So they were kind of just, you can tell,
holding on to something in hopes that they could work it out because of, um, their daughter, but it,
that was the realist thing. And it was so accurate and the perfect read on the situation.
I think, I don't know. I, I think it's a pretty common thing. I can think of one or two people
that I know who have been in a relationship where they have a kid with someone and it's obvious
that the relationship, you know, isn't working. They're on and off. They're clearly not like,
you know, a great couple that's just like meant to be together. And having a baby with someone like
really makes that a lot more complicated. And, you know, I think, I hope that they actually can
really move on from this because, you know, their baby is like,
two years old. She is going to be just fine. And, you know, they'll both be happier if they're not
kind of in this vicious cycle of, are we together? Are we not? Like, do you want to make this work?
Like, just, just cut it off. Right. And he was like, we're too old for this. You're 40.
And she was, I am not 40. I'm not 40. Like that, do not bring up age with any of these women
in the entire Bravo world. Just don't do it. Stay away from the age. The one thing that he said
that I kind of side-eyed was when he's like, I don't even remember why we broke up.
And like, Dennis, like, maybe you don't remember why you broke up like this last time,
but don't act like you don't know any of the issues. Come on.
Yeah. But all in all, I thought this is a good episode. I feel like it, again, we don't,
we didn't see half of the cast or anything that's going on with their lives, but that's okay.
I feel like this was an important. We sort of moved the story along.
Cynthia's wedding is done. We got some closure with Portia and Dennis.
I feel like we're moving toward moving on from Bolo.
Like we didn't have to watch 30 minutes of Kenya.
You know, be sad this episode, which was nice, a little break.
I don't dislike those scenes, but we don't need them every week.
Yes, but this was fun.
It was fun.
