Starting point is 00:00:00 Girl, winter is so last season. And now Springs got you looking at pictures of tank tops with hungry eyes. Your algorithm is feeding you cutoffs. You're thirsty for the sun on your shoulders. That perfect hang on the patio sundress. Those sandals you can wear all day and all night. And you've had enough of shopping from your couch. Done hoping it looks anything like the picture when you tear up on that envelope.
Starting point is 00:00:24 It's time for a little in-person spring treat. It's time for a trip to Ross. Work your magic. Betches Media presents Ha ha laugh funny Mention It All A Bravo by Betches podcast We don't say that but now we said it
Starting point is 00:00:39 With Dylan Hafer Who gonna check me boo? And Barry Rosenfeld I need to start drinking alcohol Now go to sleep week Hey everyone Welcome back to another episode of Dimension It All podcast
Starting point is 00:00:50 I'm Dylan Hafer And I'm Barry Rosenfeld And we are back This Friday We are at the very very end of this season of Real Houseways of New York. I thought you're going to be like we are at the very end of the week.
Starting point is 00:01:06 It's the end of the road. I can't believe this season already has come and gone so quickly. I think because it's quarantine times, it feels so wrong that shows that premiered when we were already, like, at home are now over. And we're still just living our best. lives at home. Yeah, but it's crazy how many more shows, like they're all being replaced already. You know what I mean? I know. It's like such a night, a whirlwind. Like we have below deck. We have, I know maybe not everyone's into it, but we have the don't be tardy, which I will be watching.
Starting point is 00:01:46 I don't know about you. And speaking of that, have you seen on the internet? Like, is Kim's Olsiak pregnant or not? Oh, I don't know. I love what I say the internet. Like I sound like an old woman. you seen the internet lately? I saw it on the internet. I saw it on the internet. I don't know. I make a point to not really pay that much attention to Kim Solciak, so I can't comment on whether or not she's pregnant.
Starting point is 00:02:11 But yeah, that's happening. And then also yesterday we got the announcement that Southern Charm season 7 is premiering on October 29. I'm very sad without Cam. This season is going to be interesting for sure. We've lost several people. obviously no Cam, no Chelsea, no Naomi, no Eliza, even though I don't really think anyone was checking for her.
Starting point is 00:02:35 Yeah, no. But we do see some new additions to the cast. There is another new white dude whose name I can't remember at the moment. We also have Lava joining the cast who we've seen a couple times before. She's friends with Danny. And it looks like it's going to be a little different season. Different. I was going to say different.
Starting point is 00:02:58 addressing some important things with racial tensions. Catherine, specifically having those issues that we've seen on social media. And, you know, they show like the statue of one of her ancestors getting taken down, which I'm sure is going to be an intense episode. And also it's COVID times. And when they show the scene in the trailer of Shep and Danny having this conversation through the doorway and they're talking on headphones, I'm like, oh, damn, they didn't, they were like shooting mid-pandemic, not even now where they're like, oh, everyone gets tested.
Starting point is 00:03:40 Like, they were like first back, I think. Yeah. I think it's so funny seeing all of these clips of people in the pandemic. Like, they're, it is very serious, but it's so funny. Like, I feel like they make it seem like it's only affecting them. Like, chef is like, what? do I do? I can't go out and party. And it's like, there are definitely more important things going on. And the same thing with like Kelly Dodd, which I think, I hope this is the last time I say her name.
Starting point is 00:04:08 But she's like, I can't get toilet paper anywhere. And like you can tell she's not doing it as a joke. Like she's actually being serious. Like she doesn't give a fuck about anyone. She's like, I can't find toilet paper. But she's problematic as it is. It's going to, I think those two shows are going to be the most kind of tough in terms of really reliving the pandemic. Because I think, I think, those were the two shows that were really filming like before and a little bit during and after. They were the guinea pigs for sure. Yeah, I mean, for shows like New Jersey and Atlanta where they started filming this summer, obviously it's going to be a factor, but it's not, you're not going to see them being like, everything is shutting down. Right. I don't know. We'll see. We'll see.
Starting point is 00:04:52 But there's lots on the horizon. Of course, we also have Salt Lake City premiering in November. So it's going to be a fun fall with some new things to talk about. And, you know, Bravo is keeping us fed, thankfully. Yes. Um, non-Bravo related television. Do you watch Love Island, any of the Love Islands? I don't. You know, I've watched bits and pieces of UK Love Island. Okay. On the whole, I find that it's like too much for me to keep up with because there are so many episodes. Yeah. But I do, I enjoy the idea of it. I'm watching. just for the first time this current season right now. And it's a very dramatic show, the music, the couples, the hanging out.
Starting point is 00:05:35 This is also during quarantine. So it's not in an island. It's actually on the roof of a Vegas hotel, which I think is the funniest thing ever. But anyway, yeah, it's just like a fun watch if you guys are interested. And also really quick, don't forget to check out shopbetches.com. We have merch, all things, Bravo. We come out with stuff all the time. It's really fun and soft and color.
Starting point is 00:05:58 cuddly and cute and photogenic and... I'm currently obsessed with my Bucca DeBetches mug that I got sent my way. It's, you know... It's really funny. It's just a must have for the home. It's a must have. Guys, let's get into the Real House of New York Reunion, part three. We are finally wrapping up this season.
Starting point is 00:06:22 I will say, I do think this definitely could have been a two-part reunion. I feel like we say that about most reunions, but this one especially, I mean, after Tinsley left, there's only five of them. I feel like everyone kind of has the same issue with Derinda. It's not like,
Starting point is 00:06:42 nothing really earth-shattering is happening. Yeah. You get some fun moments, but it's like, okay. Part three. Yeah, I felt the exact same way. Can I just start off by saying, I say this every year,
Starting point is 00:06:54 I just don't get it. what what is with sonya's actual loyalty to romona like she just can't let go yes okay so on this episode i feel like for like 20 minutes she and romano were kind of picking at each other talking about you know how sonia's not really friends with all of these women and sonia's like you know i've known these women for 20 years i just don't work at it as hard and like you know i see these people and i see these people but romana's like constantly blah blah blah blah blah blah and then at the end And Andy's like, so Sonia, like, how are things with Ramona? And she's like, well, I love Ramona.
Starting point is 00:07:30 She's family. And it's like, she treats you like garbage. Yeah, it's very, like, I don't think Ramona's taking advantage of Sonia, but I definitely think Sonia stood up for herself this season. But then she like kind of went right back to it, like in the reunion. She's like, no, I love her. They even showed a side by side of her, like, blowing her a kiss. I was like, that was weird.
Starting point is 00:07:50 Don't do that. I think, yeah, I feel like Sonia, I don't think Romona takes advantage of Sonia. on purpose. I just think Ramona is not a very considerate person and she's obviously a social climber. She's obviously somebody who kind of is very self-centered. And so I think she kind of does these things. And then in hindsight is like, but Sonia, I love you. You know, I love you. Like you're a sister. We're so, we've been together here so long. And it's like, okay, I don't, I think neither of them really has, it's not in either of their best interest to not. get along anymore so they always kind of just like you know bury the hatchet and are fine but you know who
Starting point is 00:08:33 was not in the mood to bury the hatchet derinda medley in her final episode ever so at least for now as a housewife we saw her getting into it with both romona and luanne and you know it's just so frustrating because none of this needs to be you know in the place that it is but derinda just can't she just can't you know, apologize and move on in the way that I think it's important to be able to to stay, you know, in the good graces of housewives. It's just, it's so frustrating. I did think it was very interesting that she said she, in reality, she should have taken off this season because she was explaining to everyone how she really wasn't in a good
Starting point is 00:09:20 place. And I feel like this was a really important conversation for Durinda to have. Like, did it seem like a little bit? bit of an excuse, yes. But I get it. Like she was going through a lot and she said she's on the verge of a mental breakdown. However, why did you never have any of those conversations during the show and why did you always just put it on to Ramona? She said Ramona never reached out to her, which I get it.
Starting point is 00:09:44 We all need a friend. But like, why did you say that to Ramona right now? Like, why during the season or during any time when you were with Ramona have a nice friendly conversation and tell her how you felt, whether it be on camera or off. Clearly, that didn't happen. And I just can't stand during the reunion when like those conversations happen. It's just like, why? So have you not spoken since that tonight? That was odd because I will, like, I don't remember every specific moment that we saw during the season, but it didn't feel like Dorindo. It never felt like Derrindo was really reaching out to Ramona.
Starting point is 00:10:24 or like, you know, kind of looking to her for help. So it's like, okay, you know Ramona is kind of a self-centered asshole a little bit. And it's like if you really feel like you need her to be there for you, you probably are going to have to say something. Ramona's not just going to stop what she's doing and be like, oh, Durinda looks upset. I should, you know, I should go talk to her. And I thought it was a little petty that Ramona had the texts printed out.
Starting point is 00:10:54 to basically be like, I did reach out to you. Well, that also proved nothing. Right. We didn't actually see any specific messages. She ended up just throwing the papers on the floor. And I absolutely died when Andy was like scurrying to pick up the pages. And then as Derinda was talking, he was just like fully reading the text. Reading them.
Starting point is 00:11:14 That would be me in that situation. Ramona is the last human being on earth that I would want to console me. But anyway. This episode is brought to. you by Prime. Obsession is in session. And this summer, Prime Originals have everything you want. Steamy romances, irresistible love stories, and the book to screen favorites you've already read twice. Off campus, L. Every year after, the love hypothesis, Sterling Point, and more. Slow burns, second chances, chemistry you can feel through the screen. Your next obsession is waiting.
Starting point is 00:11:51 Watch only on Prime. It was funny because Bethany, Frank, was Unwatched Happens Live last night. And because her and Durinda are so close right now, she even said, she was like, I'll be there for Durinda. I mean, I don't really have that much time, like, with all the my businesses and whatever. But if she wants to, like, you know, guide Durinda, but if she wants to talk, like, I'm there,
Starting point is 00:12:13 I was like, that was so nice. Like, it's like a side hustle. Everyone needs to coach Durinda. But speaking of calling Durinda an asshole, Ramona an asshole, Andy was reading a question, a listener question. and Durinda, my God, why can I get their names? Ramona was like, what they say?
Starting point is 00:12:31 And Durinda whispered, she goes, they called you an asshole. You know, sometimes it just has to be spelled out. We also see Durinda and Lou talking about their issues and specifically about how in Mexico Durinda brought up Lou's arrest and basically threw that in her face. And I feel like, so Durinda acknowledges that that was wrong, even though on Watch What Happens Live previously, she said she wasn't sorry.
Starting point is 00:13:01 So she acknowledges that it's wrong, but I don't feel like she really apologizes to Luann. Well, not that she said she wasn't sorry. She does not regret what she said. She's not regret it. Right. And so I feel like in the reunion, she finally is like, I said, I was wrong. But she's not like, Lou Ann, I'm so sorry that I hurt you. She's like, you're right.
Starting point is 00:13:21 I shouldn't have said that. Correct. She did that the whole time. So it's like she kind of wants to have it both ways where she can say that it was wrong and just move on with these people. But at the same time, she doesn't actually want to take any real accountability or, you know, work on herself or grow at all. And I think that's kind of why it makes so much sense that she is not coming back next season because it's like you can't just like do that with everyone in the cast and then not actually, you know, you have to at least pretend. that you're, you know, working on it. And so to kind of just be like, yeah, I was wrong.
Starting point is 00:13:59 Okay, let's be friends. It's like, you know, it's not that simple. And the fact that, you know, I love Leah, but the fact that Leah was like, I don't think Durinda went below the belt this season and I was like, Leah, she didn't go below the belt to you, but you have to admit what she said to other people was not right.
Starting point is 00:14:17 Like, come on. That was, obviously, like, I thought Leah honestly kind of did a good job of staying out of a lot of the like other women's drama at the reunion. But that was one moment where I'm like, why are you saying that? Like it's so obviously not true. And, you know, she said the thing to Tinsley about the turkey baster. That was like way below the bell.
Starting point is 00:14:38 It's, you know, just stuff like that. And it's like, don't. Luann nearly fell off her chair. Oh my God. Like, what? We also, I have to bring up at the beginning of the episode, when they put that clip package together that was just absolute perfection of each woman's, like, specific quirk that they do on camera.
Starting point is 00:14:58 For Ramona, it's saying sorry all the time. Sonia is just always talking about catching dick, which I didn't even realize she said that so much. And then Luanne is always, like, rounding everyone up, like, okay, ladies, it's time to go, you know, okay, ladies, does anyone want a shrimp? The saviche is going to get warm. And then the funniest one was Leah just sniffing every single thing
Starting point is 00:15:23 she comes into contact every candle, every piece of food, every lotion, every, it's like, oh my God. I thought it was funny that she didn't know she did that. But you know what? What is the craziest part? How production catches these things? Like how did production catch on to all of the times the women did the same thing over and over again? That's a talent. That shows you that, you know, obviously they're working, you know, the women are, you know, working hard during filming and the producers are, you know, getting them to do all of this stuff. But those editors spend so much time watching these women do everything. And, you know, they're sifting through all this footage.
Starting point is 00:16:02 And it's hilarious to think about those little things that you pick up on when you're just spending, you know, hundreds of hours picking apart all of this footage and just finding these little hidden gems. And I love that the reunions kind of give us, give them a chance to show that to us because it's just so funny. and the fact that Leah had no idea is. I know. So also in the beginning they brought up,
Starting point is 00:16:25 I know in the beginning of the season, Elise was just a strong character on the show. And then she, like, very much so disappeared and never was to be seen again. And then they brought up the fact that she, Andy asked if she's the Barbara Kaye of the season. And they were all like, yeah, basically. And then we found out Luann and Barbara are no longer friends
Starting point is 00:16:45 because she betrayed her. And then they say Elise betrayed, Ramona, but we didn't see that happening. And I feel like they did kind of say how Ramona did bring her on the show as like an ally almost. And she didn't do what she was supposed to do, like for Ramona. So was that the betrayal? Like, I think so. I think that's the issue is like, you can't, when you bring someone on to the show, you need to accept that they, that you're the connection that's already pre-existing, but that person is going to have their own kind of, you know, journey on the show. And it's, I think it's stupid to bring someone on the show and just assume
Starting point is 00:17:29 that they're going to be like, your ride or die 24-7. It's like, no, Elise is meeting these other women. She's making connections. And I don't really think she ever was like, I don't think she ever was doing anything wrong to Ramona. I think Ramona just didn't like that she kind of had her own identity within the group and she was like, no, you're supposed to be like my side, you know, you're supposed to be like my wing woman or like side piece or whatever and it's like, my side piece. Obviously, Elise wasn't really like, she wasn't really like staying in that role. I think the way Ramona wanted her to. Right, because she's a grown woman and was able to meet people and become friends with them. But anyway, plan B is a backup birth control option that's there for you
Starting point is 00:18:16 when things don't go according to plan. It specifically works after unprotected sex and before pregnancy occurs by temporarily delaying ovulation. Plan B is available nationwide at all major retailers and through delivery apps like DoorDash. No ID, prescription, or age requirement.
Starting point is 00:18:33 It's the number one OBGYN recommended brand of emergency contraception, and it won't impact your future fertility. That's Freedom to Be. Use as directed. Yeah, I mean, as we said earlier, there was kind of no reason for this to be a three-part reunion. And there wasn't that much going on.
Starting point is 00:18:54 I also truly feel that Tinsley should have kind of been there for more than what she was. Because, like, she was there for the whole season. She just essentially wasn't there for, like, how many episodes? Like, I don't know. I feel like she... No, she left, like, halfway through the season. I don't know. Maybe I just feel like it would have been better if she was there
Starting point is 00:19:15 because there would have been more drama. Yeah, I don't really think there's any conversation that she couldn't have participated in. I get why they were like, okay, like, you did your half, but like this wasn't a season where they were really, nothing like crazy happened on the trip or anything that Tinsley, you know, really needed to not be there for.
Starting point is 00:19:37 I don't know. I, you know, overall, it's like I enjoyed this season. I don't think it was one of their best seasons. I am hopeful that next season will feel a little bit fresher, maybe. I do think, yep, I still like Derinda in theory, but I think this season was tough. It was tough to watch her. Her energy was kind of toxic a lot of the time. And I'm hoping that whatever new cast member members they bring in will kind of, you know,
Starting point is 00:20:11 liven up the place, maybe light more of a fire under Ramona and Luann's ass to kind of like give us something new. I don't know. I'm hopeful, but I do think this season was a little bit lacking and I hope that they kind of get it together for next year. I agree. I feel like if they were as strong, if adding Leah was as strong as it was this season, imagine how good it's going to be next year when they, one next year, next season, when they bring in, like, maybe two or three new people, like, we don't know. But, speaking of lighting of fire and all these gender reveal issues that are going on, our sweet, lovely friend, Dorit just posted a video of a massive party, a backyard gender reveal of none other than a helicopter spraying smoke in the sky.
Starting point is 00:21:08 I am just literally, guys, I can't get over. She, like, just posted this? Just posted it. Literally a hell. It's that Justine Marhan. Oh, her hairstylist. Yeah. I hate that I know that.
Starting point is 00:21:22 I can't get over this. Guys, like, I can't, like, I love it, but it's just, like, take some time after what's been happening. Like, stop with the, I can't. Well, it wasn't Derreet's gender reveal. I thought at first, I was like, oh, my God, does she have something to say? Um, wait. Also, I feel like all these news stories are coming up. Do you follow that account, Dumois. I can't say it. Dumois. Du Mois. You know, you know how I am with my, my accent.
Starting point is 00:21:51 Your French pronunciation is lacking. Yes, they posted yesterday that a real housewife on the West Coast recently separated from their husband and it will be a shock to all of us. How can we dig at this more? It's the type of thing where we clearly know it's going to come out in the news, but I just want to know right now. I think it's someone in Orange County who is blonde and... Well, that narrows it down. Has a lot of kids. Really? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:32 That's what I... Really? I've seen whisperings. I don't want to super get into it, but I think maybe. Guys, stay tuned. But maybe it could be literally anyone, so. It could literally be anyone. So it could be anyone.
Starting point is 00:22:51 Dylan, who was your Bravo Lab in the group this week? You know, I'm just going to round it off. I don't think this is a controversial opinion. My number one Bravo Lab of the season for New York was definitely Leah. Wow. What a great newbie. What a great rookie season. I'm she confirmed on Instagram that she's coming back and you know her work is not done here and I'm excited to see what she does next.
Starting point is 00:23:21 Okay, I agree. I think it's weird because I gave it to Leah the other week as her first reunion ever. So as my runner up, I will also give it to Leah as her first seat. You know, she did everything you said. But my other, my Bravo Lab is. She is actually, honestly, Sonia, because I feel like she's in a good place after she went to the desert. She got, you know, everything done, her base, her composure. Sorry, I've had the hiccups the entire episode. I'm like going to throw up.
Starting point is 00:23:57 So, yeah, Sonia, I think she looks amazing, is feeling great. And we just hope she can get rid of this townhouse. Oh, God, somebody by the town. If you're listening to this, we have whatever it is, $9 million or something. He lowered it, yeah. Buy the townhouse, please let Sonia go. And all of the women are like, it's a great spot. It's a great location.
Starting point is 00:24:20 It says, so you fucking buy it then. Oh, my God. When Ramona's like, it's a great townhouse. It's like, okay. I love though what Durindo was like, a lot of Zimbravo rent it and we could film there. I was like, that's actually like not a bad idea. It's like the clubhouse. Okay, guys, thank you.
Starting point is 00:24:38 for listening. Don't forget to rate, review, subscribe, check out shopbetches.com with all our bravo by betches merchandise. And follow us on Instagram at bravo by betches.
