Mention It All.
A Bravo by Betches podcast.
We don't say that, but now we said it.
With me, Dylan Hafer.
Who don't check me, boo?
Hey, everyone.
Welcome back to the Mention at All podcast.
I'm Dylan Hafer.
Happy Monday.
It's a brand new week.
And let me tell you, over the weekend, I'm thinking, okay, we've got this episode coming
up on Monday.
It's going to be a little bit of a solo touch.
base, if you will. That word feels very corporate, but I feel like we're always touching base.
You know, we're keeping in close contact. We're circling back and closing the loop on all things
Bravo here. And I'm thinking, okay, so we've got a part three of a Potomac reunion that we can
touch on, sure. But, you know, I was hoping that something else would come along that would be
a little bit of a, you know, a side dish, an appetizer, an extra bit of seasoning on the plate,
because let's be honest, this season of Potomac has not been, not been the entree that maybe we're
accustomed to when we go out to eat. It hasn't been a heaping plate of delicious pasta.
It's been something less satisfying than that. So over the weekend, I'm, you know, I'm perusing,
I'm keeping an eye out. I'm, you know, I'm doom scrolling sometimes.
And the first thing that pops up, and I'm like, oh, this could be something.
It's this video that Zach from the Valley, the one with the hair, if you know, you know,
he posted this video from Cruz Couchy, that's Jackson, Brittany's son.
Couchy is always, just never rolls off the tongue.
But it was Cruz's, I think, third birthday.
and he had a dinosaur-themed birthday party,
and as Brittany and Jax are holding crews up
to blow out the candles on his cake,
Jacks is putting the full weight of his arms
on this, like, shitty folding table
with a blue plastic tablecloth over it,
and the table gives way.
One of the legs just gives out,
so the table goes down at a 45 to,
angle and this adorable little tiered birthday cake first slides and then bounces as the table gives
way underneath it and the tears land upside down it's a full fucking mess.
Brittany putting on her best.
Oh my gosh, y'all!
You know that she is white-knuckling it trying not to scream at Jacks, trying
not to cry. Baby Cruz, unfortunately, is crying. Baby Cruz, do we call three-year-olds babies?
Little Cruz, young Cruz, young Cruz couchy. And Jacks is just standing there looking at this
staff member of whatever this birthday venue is, kind of being like, what? Was it me? I don't know.
What happened? And I just know that after this happened, I know that Jacks found someone to blame.
you know that he asked to speak to the manager at this kid birthday party establishment and was like
the table fucking broke maybe you should buy better table was the table vaccinated i can't get
into that i'm sorry if you jacks has been asking questions online and i don't feel great about it
but we don't have to get more into it because you know i was looking out you know i was like okay is
the thing that we're going to talk about on Monday. And obviously, I just did. But, you know, it was
a mediocre topic at best. It's like, okay, something better could come along. And lo and behold,
we get this photo of Taylor Swift and Teresa Judice together at Coachella. When I tell you,
the first time I saw this photo, I think somebody had posted it on Twitter or X,
And I was like, I don't, I don't know if I should believe my eyes.
Like, we're living in a world of deep fakes and AI creations,
FaceTune and FaceTune Plus and everything else that comes with it.
And when I see a photo of Teresa with Taylor Swift, I'm like,
I guess, but also really?
I did know that she was there.
I knew that Taylor was there with Travis.
I had not yet seen Teresa's cowgirl get up from Coachella Day 2.
But lo and behold, I go to Instagram and Louis Ruelas has posted this photo of his wife, Teresa, with Taylor Swift.
And it just is, it's a work of art.
it's a work of art. There's nothing else you can say. It is, I like actually that it's not a
great photo, if that makes sense. Like, I appreciate that it is a photo that someone took on a phone
camera at, like, let's say, 9 p.m., in the middle of a festival crowd, Taylor is wearing the backwards
baseball cap of Travis's podcast, The New Heights.
Teresa is wearing this just ridiculous crochet, like a crochet shrug with a pink
cowboy hat with glitter stars on it.
It just could not be more correct.
I want to know.
I cannot decide in my heart of hearts whether Taylor Swift knows who Teresa Judice is.
It's just like she should.
I mean, everybody should. Please, this is history. But like, I believe that Taylor Swift knows
enough people who know about housewives that Teresa should have come across her desk at some point
in the last decade plus. But at the same time, I still feel like maybe she had no idea who she was.
you know, if you had only seen, let's say, a clip of the table flip and maybe one or two other
housewives gifts, you're not necessarily going to be out in the wild, you know, a couple drinks deep,
if she was, I don't know, at Coachella and be like, oh, my God, that's Teresa Judice from the
Real Housewives of New Jersey. She's the one whose husband went to prison and then she also went to
prison and she flipped a table and then, you know, it's really hard for me to get out of my
housewives bubble and actually assess whether or not the hardworking people of America
know who the housewives are. And I know that Taylor Swift is not one of the hardworking
people of America. Like, well, she is, but she's not, it's not like blue collar vibes. You know,
she's a billionaire. She, I'm sure, flew there on a private jet as you do.
What's funny about Coachella to me, though, is that Teresa and Louis and Taylor and Travis were in the same VIP.
Like when you're at Coachella, obviously if you're rich and famous or even if you're just rich, you're going to have, you're going to buy VIP.
You're not just going to buy like a GA pass.
Please.
But if you want to go to Coachella and go watch the sets and not just like not be in some like influencer cabana or whatever, not be at some brand party that's not actually the festival, which I see lots of people doing, there's like no actual way to be separated from the general populace.
And I think that's kind of beautiful.
I think that it is, it almost feels like socialist in nature that when Taylor Swift wants to go to Coachella and watch her friend Ice Spice perform, the only way that she can do so is to be in the same VIP that Teresa can afford and that your friend whose rich parents fund their lifestyle can afford.
And she's like out there taking photos with fans.
And Teresa in that moment was a fan.
Just like maybe Jackie was a fan at that book signing all those years ago.
Now Teresa knows how it feels.
But that was crazy.
I mean, objectively, crazy.
Also, the idea of Teresa and Louis watching an Ice Spice set at Coachella, do they know what's going on?
Did Teresa know who Ice Spice was before Saturday?
To be honest, does Teresa know who Ice Spice is now, even though she was there?
I was thinking how funny it would be if Teresa, you know,
listens to Ice Spice music and then comes at Margaret next season,
which is like, bitch, you think you're the shit?
You're not even to fart.
My Teresa voice is really bad.
I just can't quite find it.
And you know that I love a little impression moment,
but Teresa's just not quite there.
I think that was a little too like Mickey Mouse.
So good, so good, so good.

It's time for a little in-person spring treat.
It's time for a trip to Ross.
Work your magic.
So, okay.
So I'm seeing the video of,
you know, Jackson, Brittany with the cake.
And then I'm seeing Teresa and Taylor at Coachella.
And I'm like, okay, we've got some, we've got some things going on.
We've got some things, you know, to touch upon.
We've got a good 10 minutes out of that.
And we got the Potomac Reunion.
The Potomac Reunion is fine.
We'll get to it.
Monday morning, this morning, as I sit here, it's almost noon.
First thing I see, right when I wake up, I think.
Robin Dixon announces that she is not going to be on next season of the Real House of Potomac.
Now, is this a shocker? No, it was rumored and reported a few weeks ago when Candice announced her departure,
but not confirmed. And now it has been confirmed by Robin herself on her podcast with Giselle.
She says, point blank, I was fired. I'm not going to sugarcoat it. She's very grateful.
for having this long run on the show, eight years.
She's going to miss being with Giselle all the time
and having that part of their relationship.
She decided to wait until the season
and the reunion had finished airing.
She thought that was the kind of respectful thing to do
to let it all play out and then to speak her peace.
But yeah, so again, we'll talk about Potomac a little more.
So I'm thinking, okay, okay, here we go, that's the topic.
But then, just mere minute.
ago and I'm so glad that this happened when it did because otherwise I would have recorded this
episode and then I'm kicking myself for the rest of the day. I get sent to me a little article
on distractify and here's what it says. R-H-O-M-Star Alexia Nopola's husband Todd files for divorce.
can you fucking believe it?
I mean, oh my God.
Before you, before you come for me, of course you can believe it.
We can all believe it.
I believed that it might happen someday.
I believed that, you know, I'd questions.
Adriana made some points, you know.
Things seemed a little bit, you know,
A little bit off here and there last season.
But on this Monday morning, when I was already processing the news of Robin announcing her departure from Real Housewives of Potomac,
was I expecting to see this two hours later?
No.
This is the exact type of news where it's like it's shocking, but it's not surprising.
It's shocking because it hit me like a ton of bricks and here we are.
but am I surprised? Listener, no, I am not.
Now, the distractify report so far, it's an exclusive. It's light on details, but it says that Todd filed in Miami-Dade County Thursday of last week.
His attorney, Michael Allman, is listed in the filing, and that Alexia is listed as the respondent on the case.
That seems to be kind of it so far. I imagine that we have.
will be getting more information even by the time you're listening to this. Maybe we will know more.
But this is really just an off-the-cuff first reaction. And I, we've, so we've heard some,
some rumblings that Miami may be taking a little bit of a pause before they go into filming
season seven. I mean, really, they already have. Their season ended, I think, in February. And
maybe in March, I don't know, time is weird. It's already like the middle of April.
You know, this was Marcus and Larsa. I just had that weird thing where it's, I wanted to say Marcia and Larkas.
Do you ever do that where you're like swapping out syllables of a name? Marcus and Larsa have broken up.
They seem to be staying broken up this second time around. The Super Bowl break up.
was a little bit of a lull, but now they seem to be done for good, or at least like, you know,
as for good as we can say for now. No cameras. We need Andy in a camera, as always. Nicole had her baby,
a little bit premature but healthy out of the hospital now. No cameras. And now, in our greatest
time of need. Todd and Alexia, the Cuban Barbie, and her dream man who supposedly was very rich,
and who gave her everything she wanted, a divorce filing. Now this isn't, oh, we're going through
a rough patch. Oh, it's a tough time in our marriage, you know, marriage is work. A lot of the time
that can feel like a storyline. This is the exact opposite. It's a divorce filing with no additional
details and there's no cameras. It aim for the show. Now, I don't know if this will stick. I don't know
if it'll be final. I don't know, you know, how Alexia will respond to it. But all I know is that
the fact that they are not filming right now is such a huge mistake. Like, truly, what are we doing?
And it's not because there's so much else going on that they have to space it.
out. The schedule is damn near blank. We just got the Real Housewives of Dubai season two trailer
last week, and it barely registered. On the Richter scale, it would have been like a 1.3.
You wouldn't even feel it. You'd be like, oh, there must be a truck going past.
New Jersey, I'm very excited for it. It comes back in just a few weeks.
But that's it. Roney, thankfully, filming, we've seen them spotted. Salt Lake, they're probably, you know,
wrapping up soon. They get it and get out. They do it dirty. Why aren't we filming in Miami?
Seems like nobody wants to work these days. Get your ass up and work. You have storylines on storylines.
Why don't we have a camera at Adriana's house right now so we can see her getting a TMZ alert and licking her
fucking lips over the fact that she was right. Why? There's just, there's, unless there's, I'm like,
unless there's a reason I don't know about, there's no reason. And it's kind of, it's frustrating as
somebody who, of course I need, you know, I need stuff to talk about. I need like topics. But I also
am a fan of these shows and I, I want them to be as good as they can be. And I just don't see how this
type of extended delay in a show that objectively has a lot to follow with its cast is going to give us
the best show that we can get. It feels like there's things being left on the table. And I don't,
I don't understand. And I would love to understand. But at the same time, I'm like, I don't know. I don't
No. That's the thing. It's like we're already forgetting about Marcus and Larsa, and now we've got this. And it's just, it's, I don't know. I mean, I really hope that Alexia is fine. I think because we have so few details about this yet, I'm seeing right now, as I'm recording, that it's on page six. And it says that in the filing, he claims that the marriage is irretrievably broken. I think that's just like legal, you know, like every state has like different.
wording. Like, I used to think it sounded so dramatic when you said irreconcilable differences,
and it's like, no, that's literally just like the box that you have to check to get a divorce.
Low key, like, we don't know whether or not Alexia and Todd have been, you know, screaming at
each other for the last month and he raced out to file before she could, or whether she was completely
blindsided and, you know, he pulled the rug out from under her, or whether they've just been
talking about this and decided that it was the right time and they're parting on relatively good terms.
Like, we don't have that kind of background. And that, I think, is part of the reason why it's so
frustrating that they're not filming because if they don't pick up cameras for another three, four,
five, six months in Miami, we're not going to get all of that detail. We're not going to get,
we're going to get Alexia sitting down in front of the camera and her being like, yeah, me and Todd
went through a rough few months and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Thinking back to
the season
five when Lenny
walked out on Lisa
the reason that hit so hard
was because they were filming the whole time
we were seeing it all unfold
and
you know I mean
it's like what we were talking about
with Robin last season
when she was like well we dealt with that before
filming started so I wasn't going to bring it up again
while we were filming and it's like I mean I guess
but I would have liked to know
I don't know. It's tough. I want to know
what's going on in Miami.
But it's going to be a minute before we do.

I suppose we should talk about Pacham.
Obviously, you know, the big headline of the day is that Robin is leaving.
But part three, actually, I didn't talk about part two either.
So, you know, these last couple parts of the reunion, I didn't think they were bad.
I thought they had a good amount of stuff to talk about.
I thought that certain parts of it were sort of more productive than others.
I mean, to be honest, I'm not even sure why they bother.
trotting out all the husbands when they really could have just had Gordon do a little segment.
Like I always have mixed feelings about the number of people who get invited to a reunion.
I feel like it's really, it can be really hard to get right where it's like, okay, do we invite
all the husbands or just the ones that were kind of central to the storyline?
Do we invite every friend of or just the ones that are going to have something to contribute?
like Kiyana was on part two, part three.
I don't know.
They all run together.
Kiarna was on part three.
I just watched it.
Kiarna was on part three.
I thought she was fun.
Like I don't have an issue with Kiarna.
I think that this season had bigger challenges that kind of took up a lot of the space in the
conversation.
So I think for somebody like Kiarna, if she was a promising friend of this season,
it wasn't really the ideal time for somebody in that role to sort of break out.
And I think, you know, I don't think she had like the world's best friend of season we've ever seen.
I think she was like a solid addition.
I think that her fate and, you know, the fate of a few of the other women is just really going to depend on sort of what they decide to do with this franchise.
Obviously, having Candice and Robin already announced their departures, it feels like we have really, you know, gotten the ball rolling in terms of what they're going to do with Potomac.
But that doesn't necessarily mean that they're going to start filming and make all their casting decisions by the end of the month.
Like, this could still be a process that takes a while.
I mean, we've seen with Atlanta, Portia announced her rejoining the franchise a while.
while ago now, and I'm still not sure they've filmed anything. Kenya just shared the other day that
she is staying. She made a very cute video taking a bite out of a peach. It's like,
own it, girl, claim that spot. So just because Robin was told that she was not getting asked back,
that doesn't mean that everybody has gotten their contracts for next season and we're like off to
the races. And I have a feeling that
there will be more departures.
Whether or not they are
sort of newsworthy,
I think depends kind of how things develop.
Like, if Nekka announces that she is not coming back,
it's going to kind of be like,
okay, yeah, that makes sense.
Similar to Anna Marie and Beverly Hills.
It was like, she posted this whole big thing,
but it's like, at the end of the day, it's like, okay,
correct.
So, yeah, at this point,
having two departures already announced that is by itself a minor shakeup.
I mean, Potomac famously is the longest franchise that's ever held on to this amount of O'Gs.
I mean, that foursome of Ashley and Giselle and Robin and Karen for eight seasons has never been done before.
And I mean, probably never will be done again.
And so it's bittersweet.
I mean, I think that for Robin to leave now, it feels like the right time.
I think both in terms of her personal storyline and her personal sort of relationship with the show,
it feels like it has run its course.
And it feels like even more than that, because I do like Robin.
I don't think that Robin is a bad housewife.
I don't think that she's boring as much as some of it.
people say she is. I think there are things about her that trend in that direction, but whatever.
I think that honestly, the biggest hurdle is just that her husband doesn't want to do this shit
anymore. And the fact that he didn't come to the reunion, even when Robin had to have known that
she was in a vulnerable position casting-wise, that says a lot to me.
that Juan, not only was he not a super, like, happy participant?
Because, I mean, Chris Bassett was at the reunion,
and Andy asked him about him being on the show left less this season.
And he was like, yeah, that was a deliberate choice.
I didn't really want to be around this group of women who were whatever.
But he was still there.
Whereas the fact that Juan Dixon,
fully just kind of retreated from the show when his marriage and his family was still
an active storyline.
There's just no real way to, there's no real way to come back from that.
And I don't think that there was any indication that that was going to change.
And so I think for that reason, it makes sense for Robin to be kind of out of the picture for a minute.
I would, honestly, I would love for their, if Giselle and Karen and, you,
you know, some of the rest of them are going to stay.
I would love for there to be some kind of, like, you know, guest appearance, friend appearance, whatever.
But I, thinking about it now, it's interesting because I think a lot of people feel like Wendy's time has come.
And I sort of agree.
So then if you get rid of Wendy and if, I mean, NECA, I just don't know, then you have Ashley, Giselle, Karen,
and Mia, I don't know. I mean, it's a starting point. It really, I mean, the casting is going to be so
crucial because they're going to need to find some new people and those new people are,
there's going to be a lot of pressure on them. Mia really is the only one who I think
came out of this season kind of net positive. I mean, I think everybody else, it was a little
rough for everyone else. Maybe Karen had an okay season. But Mia, I mean, the way that she kind of
took over at the end with her, you know, being so open with her and Gordon's stuff at the end. And then
in the reunion, it just felt like she had this energy that nobody else in the room was kind of
willing to bring that type of real raw energy. And I really enjoyed that from her. I was moved by it
in certain ways. Gordon coming on the reunion and sharing his bipolar diagnosis and talking about that
and how it explains a lot of his behavior, you know, over the course of his adult life, not even
just on the show. I thought that was kind of an amazing moment. I think that,
It's interesting because we've had husbands on the show before, or on the housewives,
where it's like if they like being on camera, it sort of feels like a negative thing,
where it's like, oh, like, he's, you know, this guy's thirsty, whatever.
And Gordon, I mean, objectively, he, he kind of is.
When Mia was on the podcast, we talked about how Gordon loves the camera and he, you know,
he's like, he, he's always like doing something.
but somehow it works for him.
And I think maybe in juxtaposition with the other guys that are on this show where, you know,
Chris took a step back this season.
Juan is fully checked out.
Michael Darby hasn't been on camera in a couple of seasons.
You know, Giselle, other than a little bit of Jason, there's no like man storyline happening
with her.
Ray Hugar is really not on the show very much.
Like Gordon is the one who really, I think, has.
stepped up in that way. And he is entertaining and he is interesting. And their whole kind of
personal dynamic is so interesting. So I'm excited to see more of that. I think honestly,
like coming out of this season, it's hard not to be like a downer about it. But I think that
Mia's sort of next steps are the thing that I am most interested in on this.
show and we'll see what else gets built up around that.
I'm always, I always try to be optimistic about shows who are going through kind of
like rough phases and this is no different.
I hope that they do a great job with next season.
I hope that it's not, you know, two years before we see next season.
Best of luck to Robin on whatever's next.
best of luck to Alexia on the upcoming divorce situation.
Best of luck to Jackson Brittany on getting their money back for the birthday table that broke.
