Ha ha, laugh, funny.
Mention It All, a Bravo by Betches podcast.
We don't say that, but now we said it.
With me, Dylan Hafer.
Who don't check me, both?
Hey, everyone.
Welcome back to the Mention at All podcast.
Ooh, it's Thursday.
The week is coming to an end.
And boy, do we have a lot to talk about today.
Along with our regularly scheduled OC recap,
we have a whole lot to talk about because Alexis Bolino
and John Jansen.
Wedding bells are ringing.
They're making it down the aisle.
TBD, maybe, but they're saying they are for right now.
We are going to get into it.
Don't you worry.
We also have to talk about Jacks and Britney's divorce news.
Do I sound giddy?
Do I sound gleeful?
Well, maybe I just am.
Does that make me a bad person?
So be it.
Lots of stuff to get into with those stories.
Before we start, I did just want to make.
mention next Monday, obviously coming up is Labor Day. So we have some fun stuff planned. Specifically,
I had so much fun talking about Tabitha's salon takeover earlier this week that I was inspired to go
back into the Bravo Vault. And I have been watching the Rachel Zoe project all week long.
So we are going to be doing some Rachel Zoe throwback content for Monday's episodes. So make sure
you're following the show so you don't miss that. This is another example where I have never seen this
show before and oh boy is it a trip to watch it for the first time in 2024. Die.
Also, Tom Girardi, guilty on all four counts of wire fraud. He is, he's going to die in
prison. I think it's safe to say. I mean, he has not been sentenced yet. Basically, if you have
not listened a couple weeks ago, maybe last week, I don't know, time is, you know,
a fluid concept. I had our friend Kiki Monique on the podcast.
She was on the ground for almost every day of Tom Girardi's trial,
including the jury,
uh, jury,
whatever they call it,
and when they came back with the verdict.
Um, so go back,
listen to that episode.
I also went on her podcast,
pop crime for a whole episode talking about Tom Gerardy's trial.
So definitely check that out if you want more of the nitty gritty.
But Tom Gerardy,
guilty,
all four counts.
Uh,
he was based on these counts,
he was found guilty of,
embezzling fraud, whatever the words are, more than $15 million, which is, you know, still
kind of a drop in the bucket of how much he allegedly stole for, you know, for years and years
overall. But this is no longer alleged. He was found guilty on these four counts. And I believe
that each of these carries a maximum of 20 years in prison. So he, you know, he may not get that
maximum. But I mean, if you've seen the photos of the man lately, even if he gets like a few years per count,
He's not going to, he's not, no beach days in his future, no housewives filming.
But, you know, I hope that people, I hope that, I just want people to get their money back.
And what sucks is that they're not going to.
And this, this decision isn't going to do anything to change that.
But, you know, justice served, I think, in this case a little bit.
And of course, I can't wait to hear Erica not speak about this one time on the upcoming season of Real Houseways of Beverly Hills.
Because how dare anyone bring it up?
This has nothing to do with her.
Shall we talk about Jackson, Brittany?
So we got news the other day, on Tuesday, I think it was,
that Brittany has filed for divorce from Jacks Taylor.
And now everybody can finally say, one, two, three, I told you so.
This is something where it's like, I am happy for Brittany because I feel like she is
taking the necessary steps to reclaim.
reclaim her life. She's getting her joy back. She's getting that spark back. You know,
there was just over the weekend, they were filming for The Valley, you know, the Valley ever heard of
it, season two coming back. And they did like a one night takeover at Jackson's Studio City
Bar and Grill and Neighborhood Kitchen and whatever the fuck, where they renamed it Brits Bar
for one night. And so like everybody's wearing t-shirts like Kristen's there, Zach's there.
Like, you know, they really were like doing it for Brittany. And it was funny because watching it,
it's like, oh, Jacks must be pounding his fist into a wall right now. Like there is a
jack's fist-sized hole in the wall of their, um, of their house and valley village, I'm sure.
But this was just, you know, the appetizer course for the big news that Brittany is officially done.
I am, I'm just so relieved because earlier this year, when we first got news that they were separated,
it was very like, okay, like you've got one foot out the door.
Like, you can do it.
Like, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going.
And Brittany was saying kind of all the right things.
You know, she was talking about how, you know, there were things that she just couldn't put up with.
And she had finally made this decision.
And, you know, we, we knew that she and her son were living in an air.
Airbnb because Jacks hadn't left the house. And it was like, this man is still the same piece of
shit. We always have known he is and nothing is changing and Brittany deserves better and get out
of there, girl. But like, there was just this feeling in the back of my head that was like,
I don't know if she's going to do it. I don't know if it's going to stick. And, you know, this isn't,
you know, it's partially a Britney thing, but it's also just a thing in the world where it's,
it's hard to really get out of a relationship like that.
You know,
Jack's has brought a lot of stuff into Brittany's life for better or for worse.
I mean, she came from Kentucky and was on this TV show,
and he paid for her boobs and all this stuff.
And, you know, I think that Brittany kind of probably had to take a little bit of a leap
of faith, knowing that she, you know, is going to be okay.
And it's going to be better for her.
It's going to be better for crews.
and I'm really glad.
I really am glad to see her file for divorce.
And, you know, as one goes out the door, another walks in, and that means Alexis and
Johnny Jay.
They're taking the place of Jackson, Brittany, in married life, I guess you could say.
So they got engaged to celebrate their nine-month anniversary, which is, you know, love that.
What a classic tradition, getting engaged.
to celebrate your nine-month anniversary.
I think everybody should do that.
So Alexis shared this photo.
They were on a trip to Santa Barbara for their anniversary.
And I think it's, I do just think that we should maybe re-examine how we use the word
anniversary.
Because to me, anniversary, and actually, I think from the Latin, I think an, like the
A, the prefix, the ane, ane, I think refers to a year.
like an anniversary is a year-long thing.
So when we're all saying their nine-month anniversary,
I know that this is a thing people say.
I know, you know, back in high school,
people were celebrating their month-aversary.
But, you know, if you say month-aversary,
that's not anniversary.
So I think we should really say for their nine-month-aversary,
maybe there's like a Latin prefix that would make this like a little more
tidy. But for their nine months of dating, this is what Alexis posted on Instagram. Here's her
caption. On Cloud 9, confetti emoji, and then, yes, I believe that's nine heart emojis, classic.
Celebrating nine months of love and laughter and looking forward to my forever with you. Every moment
together has been a gift. I am so in love with you and the beautiful life we're building together
with our kids. And the answer is one trillion percent yes. I don't know how many zeros that is.
And then, of course, of course, a Bible verse. One Corinthians 1313. And now these three remain,
faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love. Hashtag gift from my mom.
Now, I did, the hashtag gift from my mom did give me pause. I was like, is this something, is this something
I'm missing? Is it connected to that Bible verse? You know, it's been a minute since I really did a
deep reading of Corinthians. So I wanted to make sure that I wasn't missing out on anything. And I believe,
to the best of my guessing, this is a reference to Alexis's mother who did pass away about a year
ago in August of last year. And so I am presuming that Alexis is referring to Johnny J. as the gift from her mom.
John Jansen sent from heaven above. He descended on the wings of angels into Alexis's life
at the Quiet Woman, November 18th of last year, and they tried to fight it, and they just couldn't.
This is so, it's interesting, right? It's so interesting. And I mean that with all the love in the world.
First of all, I did have to laugh.
Alexis has the comments turned off on her Instagram post.
And you know, when you're announcing your engagement to somebody, usually I would say that that is a time when you're going to be getting so much love and well wishes and outpouring of support and excitement and enthusiasm in your comments.
Like if you go and look at your friend's engagement post, it's probably the most comments they've ever gotten on an Instagram post in their life.
and all of them are like hearts and ring emojis and diamonds and oh my gosh and she said yes and can't wait for forever.
So the fact that Alexis and John have the comments turned off on their big engagement announcement, that tells you kind of everything you need to know.
Because the reaction to this that I was seeing online last night and this dropped at about 9 p.m. Eastern.
So, you know, in the evening, late in the evening, people are laughing.
People are begging that we don't see this on TV, which is usually the opposite.
You know, the I need Andy in a camera is something that we say a lot.
And people, I think for this, are kind of like, oh God, not Andy in a camera.
Please don't send Andy in a camera.
We certainly don't need Andy and a camera.
Alexis has been on Orange County for half a season.
and people are so desperate not to follow this update in her personal life.
It really is astounding.
And on the last episode earlier this week, I had Lewis Pitesman on who wrote that great
piece in vulture about Lexi's comeback flop, as he put it.
And, you know, we're a couple more episodes into the season now.
We'll talk about tonight's episode, which coincidentally, Alexis does not make any appearance
in this week's episode of Real House of Orange County.
and it did cross my mind, just a little.
Is it a coincidence that Alexis has dropped her big,
major, life-changing personal news
on a week where she's getting zero minutes of screen time
on Real House Boys of Orange County?
It could be a coincidence, but also, perhaps it's not.
So good, so good.

And now Springs got you looking at pictures of tank tops with hungry eyes.
Your algorithm is feeding you cutoffs.
You're thirsty for the sun on your shoulders.

And you've had enough of shopping from your couch.
Done hoping it looks anything like the picture
when you tear up on that envelope.
It's time for a little in-person spring treat.
It's time for a trip to Ross.
Work your magic.
It really is impressive the way that she has,
the way that she has just used up all of the goodwill
that people had toward her
and all of the excitement that people had about seeing
the messiness of the situation between her and John and Shannon and how that affects everybody
in the cast that people now are like under no circumstances do I want to see this wedding on TV.
Now, I would posit the one thing that would make me want to watch it is they should get married
at the quiet woman.
You guys, if they did a, not like a wedding special.
Oh, God, no.
Oh, my God.
Also, if John doesn't want to be on camera, what are we doing?
Where are we going with this?
But, like, next season, because you know she's getting married in like, you know, six months or less.
Next season, if they get married at the quiet woman, maybe they do, hmm, do we think they'll do a small ceremony or like, I could see them like eloping with like two people there or I could see them inviting like 600 people to this wedding.
because Alexis, to me, I think that she is going to treat this like a royal wedding.
Because John Jansen obviously is the, you know, the heir to some throne somewhere.
He must have a billion dollars locked up somewhere.
Because why on earth, Alexis, I just...
They also, they haven't filmed the reunion yet for this season.
And I think that's kind of, you know, aside from whatever their wedding plans are going to look like,
and if in fact they will get married because this all just feels like it's, you know,
some elaborate ticking time bomb situation and that like, you know, the carriage is going to turn
into a pumpkin at midnight. But the reunion, presumably they're, I have to imagine they're
filming that in the next few weeks, month or so. Alexis, I am guessing, will be at the reunion.
You know, she's a friend of. She's been very impactful this season.
And like now it all.
Eddie was going to be sort of cursed for her to be at this reunion and whatever she's going to bring,
you know, and like whatever bag of dog shit she's going to put on Shannon's doorstep, now it's on fire.
And people, you know, the biggest reaction I've seen, honestly, to this engagement news is people being like Team Shannon.
Protect Shannon.
Get a camera, get Andy in a camera over to Shannon's house.
Because it just feels like there's no way to watch the season and to watch the behavior on social media and not feel like it's just sort of this like performance art deranged takedown of Shannon Bador that is landing so poorly that it's making Shannon like, you know, John Jansen came from heaven.
We're looking at St. Shannon over here.
Everybody, she's got the angel wings.
She's got the halo.
Is this like deeply blasphemous?
I don't know what's happening with these angel metaphors.
I really don't know that much about Christianity.
It'll shock you to hear.
But, you know, Orange County, they're all good Christian women.
So it's really, we're staying in the wheelhouse here, except for, you know, Jewish Heather DeBrow.
But I'm sure she, you know, she can cosplay.
She's a good actor.
But yeah, I mean, like Shannon continues to seem like the.
reasonable one in the room and the one that is kind of needs a little bit of a helping hand.
And Alexis is just digging herself deeper and deeper and deeper. And I, it's tough to watch.
But speaking of, you know, getting into this week's episode of Real Housewives of Orange County,
there's no Alexis. And this I think, and I talked about this with Lewis a little bit,
Alexis obviously is an important role this season.
And she's a friend of and we're seeing, you know, she's present for many things this season.
But she also is not a part of the group to the point where she is getting invited to everything.
We know she's not going to be on the London trip later this season.
We've already seen the screenshot of the text that Shannon sends to her being like,
I just want to make it very clear that I'm planning this London trip.
and you are not invited, which I can't wait to see, like, the full unfolding of that.
But this is, like, a relatively low-stakes party that Tamara is hosting.
Tamara, who is probably Alexis's closest ally on the show, but because of the fuckery that's
going on in this group, and specifically that Alexis is bringing into the group, even Tamara
has made the judgment call that she's like, yeah, I'm, I at least want to act like I'm working
on my relationship with Shannon.
So I think it's best if you sit this one out.
And that I think is really telling about Alexis's overall place in this group and on this
show that she is the one that is being crossed off the list.
That whether it's Tamara, you know, from the bottom of her heart, wanting to, you know,
string Shannon along for another episode or whether it's the producers in her ear saying,
hey, we need the Shannon and Tamara
working on their relationship arc
to last three episodes,
so you need to do whatever you can
to get her not storming out of your party
in the first 10 minutes.
However, the Alexis not being invited decision
is arrived at,
it's arrived at.
And Alexis is not there.
She's not in the episode.
And because she's a friend of,
we're not getting any,
we're not getting her catching up at home
with Johnny Jay.
We're not getting her out to lunch
with anyone this episode.
we just don't see her.
She doesn't exist in this episode other than us whispering about the videos of Shannon that
she's teasing and, you know, everybody wringing their hands over whether or not we're going to
tell Shannon that Alexis has been, you know, dropping breadcrumbs about these horrible, damaging,
terrible things that she has in her, like, hard drive somewhere.
So Alexis kind of, she's like the loser of this week by default because she's just not there.
We're still catching up after these dual trips to Lakinta and to Big Bear.
We get this cold open scene.
I don't, there's no taglines in this episode, which they do sometimes, but literally,
there's not even like a previously on, or at least I did watch, I watched the screener early.
So maybe if they added on later, sorry if this doesn't make sense.
But we get this cold open scene of Heather and Emily and Tamara at lunch or drinks or something.
I can never tell like what time of day it is when they.
they're at like an establishment.
So I'm always like, they're at lunch and then there's no food.
But they're catching up after their respective trips.
And also, this is post-Tamra meeting with Shannon.
And what's funny is that we, in this episode with both Vicky and Shannon,
we get the sense that perhaps Tamara has a different view of events than the other Trace Amigas.
because Tamara seems to think that her little meeting with Shannon went okay.
And she was like, I invited her to my traders inspired competition party.
I didn't invite Alexis.
So, you know, that means that Shannon and I are going in the right direction and we'll see where it goes.
Meanwhile, the first time we see Shannon this episode, she's like, my meeting with Tamara did not go well.
She's like
Because Shannon
Even if she gets the invite to the party
At the end of the dinner
She still is thinking about the dinner
And it's like I feel like I was accused
Of being an alcoholic again
That's the bullet point
She's gonna remember
Whereas Tamara's like
Well yeah
Some shit happened
She left
She went to the bathroom
And then she came back
And then I invited her to the party
So we're good
We're moving forward
Tamara Judge
Memory of a Goldfish on Housewives
It really is a skill
And then likewise, with Vicky, when they arrive at the party, Tamara's like, I thought it would be good to invite Vicky to this party right now because she and I, you know, we're actually, we're actually okay. We're doing okay. Cut to Vicky being on, I don't know why I'm here. I thought it was weird that I was invited. So Tamara, I think she, she's not doing an amazing job of convincing us that this Trace Amigos thing is like no big deal.
The trace of me, I'll get to that later, but it's clear that the trace of me, Gus, is dead and done and buried.
And I don't just mean, like, that Tamara's not going back on tour with them.
It's like, the issues run deeper than that.
And I don't know if Tamara is in denial of that or if she truly is just, like, has blinders on too much to realize kind of the mess that she has made of that situation.
But, you know, we see Shannon getting her new car outfitted with a breathalizer.
I, you know, is this like the most interesting scene in the world?
Probably not.
But I do appreciate that we're sticking with the DUI consequences.
Like I think it's maybe for the viewers, but also like for Shannon.
I think it's a good thing that they're not just kind of like letting this drop.
And then by episode five, it's like we forgot that the DUI even happened.
It's like, no, no, she's still dealing with that.
If she wants to go, you know, her kids are at college.
if she wants to, like, be able to run her own errands without calling an Uber,
mama's got to have a breathalyzer in the car.
Is that, is that embarrassing?
Is that, you know, frustrating for her, probably, but we're seeing it.
And I think that's good.
And honestly, it's like, if you're somebody who has made, you know, bad choices and
gotten yourself into a sticky situation, you deal with it.
You put up with the consequences.
And I think, you know, it seems like Shannon, as much as I don't want to, like,
You know, parade her around and be like, well, look at her.
She's doing good.
You know, she got a DUI.
She got herself into this mess.
Like, she's doing the work.
It seems like.
I don't know.
She does order.
At the Traders Party later, I noticed that she orders a drink, but specifically asks for it to be very weak.
I'm like, okay, I see you.
You're like, so I, I, I'm not going to not drink.
So I'd like a tequila soda, but like half a shot.
Look, small steps.
Small steps, baby.
You got this.
We got a little Katie and Jen catch up.
We're learning more slowly about Katie's personal life, Katie's background.
They're having this conversation specifically about blending families, having kids with, you know, between partners and new relationships.
Obviously, Jen is dealing with this with her kids and Ryan and then her kids and, you know, her husband and his new lady.
And, you know, there's a lot of kids.
I think she said it's like nine kids last episode.
There's a lot of blending in a lot of different ways.
It's, this stresses me out just to think about.
But Katie has gone through this too.
We learn more about her first marriage because Matt, who she's married to on the show is her second husband.
And her kids are from her.
her first marriage. And she says that she decided right before her first wedding that she didn't want to
go through with it because her brother was like, good luck with that. And her dad like basically
forced her to go through at the wedding because it was in Hawaii and they had already, you know,
paid for stuff and whatever. And so it sounds like pretty much the entire time she was in that
first marriage. It was like on and off and she, you know, wanted to leave and then went back and then
wanted to leave again and then went back. And then even now or even, you know, after they got divorced,
her family was still kind of like, oh, well, you should, you could go back or you could make it work.
Like good Catholic girl kind of shit. And I'm like, that is dark. We kind of like gloss over it.
But I'm like, that's intense that you knew before the wedding that you didn't want to go through with it.
And then even after you finally extricated yourself from that relationship, your family was like,
okay, but what if he was the one? What if you just, what if you just stayed for the next?
next 40 years.
Like, first of all, her family sounds fucked.
Like, Jesus Christ, get a grip.
But second of all, I'm like, what was going on in that relationship?
I don't know.
I mean, it just sounds like a really weird and bad situation in a way that I'm like,
I think there's some more stuff there.
But she has a complicated situation with her kids.
One of her sons has chosen to live in Atlanta, I think, with his dad.
And so she doesn't see him a lot.
Meanwhile, her daughter from her first marriage doesn't speak to her father.
There was like a situation a few years ago where she said that he was being selfish.
And then now they just like have no contact.
Katie's like he doesn't wish her happy birthday.
He doesn't, you know, call to see how she's doing.
And so Katie's daughter is changing her last name to Janella, which is her husband Matt's last name.
And she is like, she calls him Padre, which I actually.
think is cute. She's like, the word dad is like kind of, you know, feels like cursed at this point.
So interesting family situations. This is the kind of thing where I'm like, I, I'm glad to learn
more about this part of Katie's life because I feel like now there are, we're starting to see
those layers and I'm starting to be like, okay, I get how she can relate to a lot of people in
this group. Like obviously she and Jen are connecting in this episode, but I mean, Tamara is still,
we hear from her, you know, just a few minutes later talking about the situation with her kids, how two of her kids don't talk to Simon and her third kid doesn't talk to her. And that this divorce has really, you know, put this years long rift in her family. And so, you know, Katie, obviously, I'm sure, I don't know if she and Tamara have like really connected about that. But like, that's a whole thing. Gina has her co-parenting situation. Like there are a lot of different kind of.
connective tissues within this group, and I think that family is a good way into that.
And I hope that Katie, in the second half of this season, can kind of lean into what makes her an
interesting person more than the kind of moment she tried to have with Heather earlier this season.
But I don't know.
We'll see.

And then Emily, Emily and Shane are having this conversation about, you know, in Laquinta,
how Shannon kind of ratted out Gina and about how Tamara makes her an angry person.
and she's been feeling really bad about the way she spoke to Jen at Gina's dinner.
God, I feel like names are rattling around in my head.
Jen and Gina and Emily Shannon, blah, blah.
But so Emily is talking about how this kind of aggression that she has,
she doesn't want to be a mean person, she doesn't want to be a bitch,
but it stems from her mom growing up and how her mom wasn't really, you know,
around that much or an attentive mother.
And so she basically had to take care of herself.
And so she feels like that's where the aggression comes from.
And she feels really bad that Jen was kind of on the receiving end of her own personal stuff that she needs to work through.
This is all, to me, so interesting.
And I feel like because the group has been so messy this season on Orange County,
I feel like some of the personal story is not even storylines, but kind of just like personal things that people are working through have.
kind of taken a backseat a little bit, aside from, like, you know, Jen getting evicted and,
you know, Travis and Gina, I guess. But also, like, what's up with Jen and Ryan? I feel like we
haven't checked in with them in a few episodes. I guess the FBI is starting to lay their groundwork,
so we'll revisit that later in the season. But that takes us to Tamara's Traders Party. And, okay,
I was excited when I heard that Tamara was hosting a Traders Party. And then I realized that it means
that we have to sit around and watch them play a fake,
reductive version of traders hosted by Teddy Mellencamp,
which, like, you know, I've said a lot of stuff about Teddy,
and, like, I don't need to get back into it.
You know, I listened to their podcast just last week,
so I feel like I'm, I feel like I've said enough good things about Teddy for the next decade,
but I don't think that she has the juice to be an Allen coming counterpart.
heart. We get the one good piece of shade about Vicky where she's like, hello, welcome housewives and Vicki.
And Vick's like, she's such a bitch, she's so, so rude. I love that they're at this house,
this estate, I don't know where they are looks really cool, except for the fact that it's like pouring rain
outside and they've been instructed to come in their Scottish attire. So everybody's wearing like plaid and
capes and blazers and furs and, you know, some of our like favorite like knotted head.
bands that Parvety really was rocking in the castle. But they're outside for so much of this event.
And I'm like, what is this place? Like, why are we standing out by the pool when it seems like,
it looks like you guys are cold and it's pouring rain? Like, even if you're under some kind of
awning, like, would it really be such a problem to just go inside for the next scene, for the next
game, for the next little roundtable? I don't know. I'm sure there were like production concerns
about maybe the inside of this fake Orange County Castle didn't look like what they wanted to film.
But I was just like, everybody looked so uncomfortable at a certain point.
But the traitors game is like a little boring.
In general, on these shows, it's like I don't care about who wins flag football.
I don't care about who's, you know, winning capture the flag.
I don't really care that much about the traders.
The one thing that made me laugh, though, is when they did this quiz round where everybody had filled out like
questionnaire about their fellow housewives, and they had to guess who they thought got the most
votes for each individual thing. And one of the questions was who's the biggest drinker?
And Shannon guessed that people had answered Shannon, and she was correct. And I'm like,
okay, good for Shannon for having the perspective to realize, because her group was the only one
that said Shannon. So like good for her for knowing that that's what people think of her,
but at the same time, I'm like, so much of Shannon's whole deal this season has been talking about
how much she is or isn't drinking and she's only drinking two drinks per night and she just
ordered a really weak drink on camera in a way that I have to think we were intended to see.
but she still knows deep down that these women are like, oh, Shannon drinks the most.
Oh, easily.
And she's right.
There's just so many layers to unpack there.
But now she's got the breathalyzer in a car.
No more issues, I'm sure.
We have like a little trace of me guys talk, which I thought was necessary.
We haven't seen them really together one-on-one, two on, three on, three-on-zero, one-on-one, two-on-one-one.
I don't know. But it turns out, and maybe we already knew this, but Tamara and Shannon's
issue is partially traced back to Tamara commenting, clapping hand emojis on one of Alexis's
posts. And Tamara says that at the time she didn't realize that Alexis was going to date John,
so she had befriended her in like, you know, an honest above-bored way, and that now that she is
dating John, she's not just going to dump Alexis, and she doesn't even really care about
the Alexis dating John.
And Shannon's like, I just don't want anything to do with Alexis.
And the thing here with Tamara is that like, I believe that she was like had some sort
of relationship with Alexis before she started dating John.
But what I don't believe is that Tamara has no feelings about this and doesn't care at all
and has never thought of trying to use this for her gain.
It's like, I think that Tamara has thought through every.
possible outcome of every moment of every interaction that she has on this show or probably
off of this show. So, like, I am willing to accept that Tamara has, like, certain genuine
friendships, genuine emotions, whatever. But what doesn't ring true to me is her being like,
oh, well, why would I even care that Alexis is dating John? That wouldn't interest me at all. I'm like,
Tamara, be fucking for real. Like, you have so many tricks up your sleeve and you're just waiting
for the right time.
So I get why
Shannon is kind of like,
yeah, that's tough for me.
When you're pretending that you don't care
about this thing that you know
is really hurting me,
it's not good.
It's not good.
And Shannon's crying about how,
you know,
they're talking about the $75,000 again.
And, you know,
she's like,
keep voting a penny less.
And Tamara's like,
he just wants you to clear his name.
And Shannon's like,
well, I won't lie.
That's the one thing.
I'm not going to.
lie. And it's like, at this point, it's like, what could she even say? She said it all on camera.
It's not like she's going to be like, never mind. I was lying the whole time. So again, it's like
maybe she'll have to pay the 75K. Maybe she won't. Maybe she chipped in for Alexis's ring.
Who knows? Meanwhile, Vicky's just mad that they're not talking about Trace Amigos because in the
Tamara and Shannon thing, she really just doesn't have that much of a foothold. And that, that says everything
you need to say about, um, about Vicki's role on the show at this point.
The only other thing I want to mention is that we get a little update in the Heather and Katie saga, which is Heather pulls Katie aside because we do see a flashback at this first scene in the episode with Heather, Emily, and Tamara, where Tamara tells Heather that Katie's cool and she should give her another chance, and Heather's like, whatever.
So Heather's version of that is that she says there's no reconciling here because we were never friends, but I will invite Katie to my event in Sonoma in the spirit of inclusivity.
because she would never go out of her way to make someone feel excluded.
And, yeah, I mean, it's kind of like Tamara inviting Shannon to her traitors party and being like,
so that's where we are.
It's like, it doesn't really mean anything.
It means that there's an event that's being filmed and everyone else is going to be there.
And like, it would be harder to not invite Katie than it would be to just let her come.
So at the end of the day, it doesn't mean that much.
And I think Katie knows that.
She walks back to Jen and she's like,
Heather cut me off when I tried to apologize.
It's like, yeah, because she doesn't give a shit.
And you know that, and she knows that.
And that's that on that.
And Katie does get in one last little dig when Heather is revealed as the traitor.
I know you all were waiting with bated breath to get the outcome of traders.
And Katie's like, it makes sense.
She's a great liar.
Was she an actor?
Oh, I had no idea.
It must have been before my time.
Tread lightly.
Katie, you got to have something else going on than just like scoffing it.
Heather, because Heather, I is here to stay, I think, as long as she wants to. But I am not here
to stay any longer. That is it for today. Thank you so much for listening. Don't forget to rate
review and follow the show wherever you listen. We'll be back on Monday, like I said, with
