Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey everyone, welcome back to the Mentioned All podcast. Season 2 of NextGen NYC has been a bright spot this summer. And so I'm excited to talk to one of our OGs. She's back. Ariana Bierman, how's it going? Good, good, good, good. I'm happy to be here. I'm happy to have you here.
Starting point is 00:00:20 Last time you were here was before the first episode of your show had ever aired. It was, you know, we were doing press. I think you had not even maybe seen the first episode. No, I was like, can you tell me what happened? So now it's like a year. change later. We're deep into season two. People are loving it. We just heard that there's like setting ratings
Starting point is 00:00:40 records on Peacock. Makes you want to cry. I can't believe people are enjoying it. Yeah. You know, like this much. I'm really hope that people are having fun with it. I think people are and I remember last year when season one was airing. It's always so unpredictable with a new show that has so many new faces, lots of different dynamics. Sometimes it works.
Starting point is 00:00:59 Sometimes it doesn't. And I think people were sort of like pleasantly surprised almost by like how invested they felt after just a handful of episodes. And so it's great to have you guys back. You have, you know, another season. Pretty much everyone is back, which is exciting. And how has season two felt? Honestly, this season was so different than last season. And we all got so close.
Starting point is 00:01:24 So I think things are like get a little crazier because we all are such close friends now. And we all spend so much time together, filming or not filming. It was different for me, though, this season. Totally. Yeah. We'll talk about some of the reasons why. But I think you can feel that with pretty much everyone coming back for the second season, you can sense that there are these deeper relationships.
Starting point is 00:01:47 There's more complex layers. Some people that were really close last season have now had bumps in the road and kind of vice versa. So did it feel, was it more kind of challenging maybe to navigate friendships? situations or do you feel like the history almost makes it easier? I feel like certain situations, yeah, it's a little more challenging. I think history definitely gives it like more of a perspective in a way, if that makes sense. Like I don't know. It was really, it was great. So when you started filming for this season, you and Hudson had just, it was pretty fresh that you guys were. Yeah, we broke up and I'd had broken up with him in September. And then we had started filming kind of, I had started filming a week
Starting point is 00:02:30 earlier so that we could get the filming aspect of me week earlier, two weeks earlier than everyone else to see me moving out of that apartment. And so I kind of, we started filming, I think, like October 16th and I started on like the first or something. So what was it like? I mean, just kind of having to process, you know, that big life choice, but then also this show is coming back into my life. I'm going to have to be open about stuff. How did you kind of approach that chapter and figure out the best way to know? navigate it. I don't know if I figured out the best way to navigate it. I'm like, as I look back, I think I definitely overshare a lot. That's who I am. Because I'm not really ashamed of
Starting point is 00:03:10 anything and it's just kind of life like this is what it is. But I think that kind of going into the show so quickly after put a way of processing not, like I wasn't fully able to process and I didn't really realize that for a while. But I just tried to be who I am and explained what I was thinking and how I was feeling in those moments and in those times. And I did. Yeah, I think it's, it's, I mean, for anybody who's been in a long relationship and is figuring out how to, how to handle that, that would be challenging. And then obviously you have added layers of, I'm on a TV show. I have a platform on social media and there's people, people have opinions about my life. I, I thought it was really interesting at the beginning of the season that some people in the group were questioning,
Starting point is 00:03:51 you sharing, you know, a statement on social media about your, can I ask you, is it that crazy. Okay. I wanted to say that I feel like you have lived much of your life on different reality TV shows. You have a platform on social media. That's how you make a living a lot of the time. There is public interest in this relationship that's been on the show. And I feel like, you know, for other people in the cast, maybe they don't have that element of their life where it's like, this is a public thing. You know, with with Ava and Hook. I'm like, I guess I'm interested in the update, but it's a little different. I do agree in the aspect of like, you know, I've only ever, I think they say like,
Starting point is 00:04:38 nobody's ever posted a breakup like this. I'm like, bullshit. I see it all the time. One, and that's where I got, like, that's where I got my damn idea, okay, because I didn't know the best way to go about it. And I had kind of stopped posting Hudson and I on social media like months before. And I had already been so many questions, like, what happened? Where has he been?
Starting point is 00:04:55 What's going on? And it was like, it was getting frustrating. And I was about to move out. And I was doing a brand deal moving out. I was, you know, getting exchanged in order to post, show my moving process. And announcing a breakup that way to me is like so distasteful. And so, in, like, it's, I'm, that was a beautiful relationship at one point. And we didn't work out.
Starting point is 00:05:15 We went our separate ways. Like, I don't want to disrespect him or disrespect that relationship. Like, and that's how it felt if I announced it through a fucking moving ad. Right. Because people are going to put the pieces together either way. Yeah. Like, oh, she's moving out of her boyfriend's apartment. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:27 Well, I think it almost, I mean, even for people who weren't on TV prior to last season, we just said how many three million people are watching on Peacock next day, whatever. Like there is, you guys are in a place now, all of you on the cast where there's going to be a Reddit thread about she's not posting X, Y, Z. I know. And I don't want people, like, I know it's great to make people wonder. My family's always told me it's great to make people wonder. I'm like, that's not who I am. I'm like, this is what I'm thinking.
Starting point is 00:05:55 This is what I'm feeling right now. here it is, this is how I work, and that's just the truth. I didn't need people to talk about me. They already were. Thanks for that. I mean, being open and honest about stuff like that, I mean, that's part of the reason why people connect with people on shows like this. And that's what I want to do. I mean, like I try to be open and honest about literally everything I do is that the other day I posted about everyone gave me a bad side effect of RETA because I want to do RETA, right? They all gave me great side effects. Mine comes in the mail tomorrow. I can't wait to post myself shooting it to me. My new peptide.
Starting point is 00:06:26 Like, that's my friends like, just do it and tell nobody. Which peptide is this one? Reta, it burns fat, builds muscle. Okay. And I'm like, I have done everything in my power not to get on an ozum pic, not to do any of these things. No shame to anyone who does any of that. And now I'm joining the club. I want to be lean in tone and I want to be my smallest again.
Starting point is 00:06:45 I saw it, Meredith Marks was posting about some peptide on threads last night. I'm like, I can't keep up. I can't either. And you know what? A lot of my friends have done it for months and months. And I've seen great results with that. And I'm like, you know what? I can't wait to document my whole process with no fucks given because I am doing this.
Starting point is 00:07:01 I can lie about it. And everyone's like, how'd you get so fit? I'm like, oh, I went to the gym twice a day. It's not doing enough. Now we're getting ready. Wait so you see how I look in too much. Season three, we can see the peptide journey. Yes, season three, just you see how I'm coming in.
Starting point is 00:07:14 Oh my God. I mean, it is, it's a lot to keep up with. But I do think like being aware of people caring or having a platform or something like that, it's the smart way to go about it because if you act like nobody cares, then maybe people won't care. Yeah. Yeah, I just, I tried to do it the best way I could. And I wouldn't surprise people were questioning it. I mean, you know, Ava didn't, at the time, I don't think knew my heart and knew who I was.
Starting point is 00:07:39 Obviously, we weren't close friends. I think that she would have a different perspective, obviously, over it now, knowing some more things into the relationship and into really who I am as a person. I think it would be a lot different. You know, a lot of the things I said in the beginning of the season is in the same way I feel about her now. Yeah. So I did really. I related to like when people were like nobody would fake a breakup in New York because moving sucks so bad. Honestly, exactly. And we're about to have to move again. And I'm like, oh my God, I've been looking for an apartment for months because I'm just like, I need to be on top of this. Are we going back to Manhattan? Absolutely. Okay. I do love. I want to say though, I do love Brooklyn. I loved living in Dumbo. I still live there a few more months, but I love it. I just like there's not as much. I work out every single morning, 8 a.m. in the city. And it's like I'm just. I want to be there. I want to walk to my workout.
Starting point is 00:08:25 I want to be where I know everything around. Yeah. And I have more options. That makes sense. I mean, I tried it. And it's beautiful. But who knows?
Starting point is 00:08:32 My view is so pretty this morning. I was like, should I leave here? See, that's the thing. It's like you get, you're so set on leaving. And then I look around.
Starting point is 00:08:41 And I'm like, oh, I also don't want to like packing everything again. Like unpacking it. I'm like, I need my organizers to be there. The day I move in. Like,
Starting point is 00:08:50 I hate looking at boxes. It sends me into orbit. and but you do think I need like a new chapter but also I'm like this is my first apartment I've ever had and like you have time for so many chapters I know I know and so I'm like I think I need to come back into the city it was really fun at the beginning of the season briel was on the show a little bit it was so fun to see you guys together because it's been a minute since we've had you on a show yeah what was it like can you talk to me a little bit about like your relationship with briel like as adults because I feel like you guys lived such a crazy childhood.
Starting point is 00:09:22 We've seen you like on the road trips and the RV, like everything. Like what is it like kind of having those experiences but now being like grown-ass women? She is my best friend of the world. So I think that we obviously have so much stuff we've gone through growing up and we understand each other in obviously a different way than anybody ever will. She's been so supportive throughout this process and moving to New York. And when I was going through my breakup and just bad decisions I've made, She's the first person I call, and you'll see her kind of come in a little bit later in the season as well.
Starting point is 00:09:52 She makes her cameos. I wish she would move to New York. I beg her all the time. I'm like, please move here. Like, please. Is she still in Atlanta? She is most of the time. Most of the time, but her fiancee is he just finished school.
Starting point is 00:10:02 He's starting a new job. So now he's back in Atlanta too with her all the time. But she's all around the globe. Okay. She's doing it all. Well, I always, I, one thing that I have had this like curiosity about forever is you guys are long time Hair by Chrissy girls. Oh, I just got back.
Starting point is 00:10:16 I just got back. There's so much lore. It's like, who goes to hair by Chrissy? What's the TikTok drama this week? I always kind of have to stop and watch those videos. Chrissy, I've been going to Chrissy since I was. We were just talking about it. 10 years.
Starting point is 00:10:31 I've been going for 10 years. Yeah. She's my family. Like, she will be at my wedding. Not doing my hair. She will be at my wedding as like my family. Like she, one of her amazing assistants. But she is, she's amazing.
Starting point is 00:10:46 And whenever I see the drama, it takes everything in me to not go back at him. And I did last year. Yeah. And I was in the ring of fire. And everyone's like, Oranna's a mean girl. Or Anna's a mean girl. And I was like, you guys, like, I'm sticking up for like my aunts, basically. Like, this is my girl.
Starting point is 00:10:59 I'm so, like, out of the, like, the, like, hair extension scene that when I see, like, I mean, people are always mad about something. Always. There's always something to be mad at. But I'm always like, I love my hair. Like, she looks phenomenal. And, like, she. What would we, what would we, like, what would we call this shade right now?
Starting point is 00:11:15 Because there's always, it's like. I've been switched. it up. Brookie, Brookie brownie. Yes, she, I think she called this a caramel brownie mixed with a, what did she say, snickerdoodle or something? She has the cutest little names, and I was like, you know what, I know.
Starting point is 00:11:29 And she's this big. She's like, and she's so teeny-weeny, like she cracks me out. I love that. I mean, you find the good people and you stick with them. She's always been truly so incredible and everyone who works there. It's like, I know everyone. Okay, back to things relevant
Starting point is 00:11:45 to next year. NYC. I watching, I guess, this week's episode, I don't know, what was going on with you and Liam after he had joined and there was like a little bit of a flirtation going on there. That's like fun to watch, but then
Starting point is 00:12:02 you got a little frustrated with kind of the way that some of the guys in the group particularly shy were kind of relaying that back to Hudson. What is it like for you kind of watching this chapter back where you're kind of navigating being in this like single space for the first time in a long time and everything that came with that. I think it's really, I think in the beginning of the first couple episodes, I got like upset
Starting point is 00:12:26 and I was like, oh, like, I hate to see myself like so sad. Like, and I didn't even realize, you know, certain of the things I was going through at the time. As this is kind of progressing, I think it's really fun. You know, it was fun. It was the first time I was single in my life and like being out in the world by myself, like not living in my parents' house, like being on my own. And so I kind of wanted to live that journey and like just figure it out myself. And so when Shai was going back to Hudson, I was like, you have been my friend for so long. And you have been Hudson's friend for two weeks. But I get it, it's brocode.
Starting point is 00:12:55 Like, he's trying to have his boys back. Like, I look back at it. I was on the phone with him. And we've talked about it so many times. He's apologized to me, like, multiple times. And I'm like, look, I could have came about it differently, too. It wasn't that big of a deal. I think I was just frustrated that, like, he was knowing anything about my life because I didn't want him to, like, go down any spiral or, like, you know, feel like I was disrespectful to our relationship in any way at any point.
Starting point is 00:13:15 but shy is like my best friend so it's kind of funny to watch it I think after that is when we really started to get even like remotely to how close we are today yeah I mean it felt it did feel like the the Halloween party was like a little bit of a turning point where like you kind of needed to like stand your ground and say what you needed a little bit I just didn't want it to happen again you know and I think he was just you know trying to have everyone's back which I get that and that can sometimes bite us in the ass yeah I'm curious like Charlie is such an interesting character to watch. And it feels like kind of
Starting point is 00:13:48 everyone in the group at this point has had their complications with him, whether it's stuff that happened last season, stuff that's happening on this season, things that maybe we don't totally see on the show. But like, he just seems like such a lightning rod for this like controversy within the group. How do you kind of like navigate just having Charlie
Starting point is 00:14:09 as somebody in your life, in your circle of friends, knowing that he can kind of have, drama with anyone on any day. I think you'll definitely kind of see where my position and a few other people's position changes as the season goes forward and kind of how he, you know, accept responsibility for certain things and is growing. He seems like he's growing up, you know, and we kind of find a friendship at some point.
Starting point is 00:14:36 But I do think that now where everything is in life and just kind of everything that's happened, you know, I think that it's like he never know what's going to happen. in that position in being around him or who's going to be mad at him this week or who's going to be mad next week or this afternoon and be fine at the night. Like it's like it's always just so like wishy-washy with everybody. I think he says a lot of shit and should think before he speaks, but he doesn't want to. Well, because I think that was something where after season one, I think a lot of people from the outside were like, is Charlie going to come back and do another season of this show?
Starting point is 00:15:10 Because it seems like he's so kind of doesn't give a fuck. He comes back differently, though, I think. I think he does, but I think it's, I'm glad that he's back on this season. I mean, first of all, he's like, you know, giving us drama. But also, like, I feel like he is, it's like he says things like he doesn't give a fuck. But then I feel like there is kind of a seed of like. I think he cares. When like Amira is mad at him, he's like, wait.
Starting point is 00:15:36 He values. Right. Like you can see that it kind of comes through of like, oh, these relationships aren't meaningless to him. He just like has kind of a nonchalant way. of talking about them. I think that he likes to lead on that he doesn't care more than he does. Like I think he does care more than he gives off.
Starting point is 00:15:52 And I think that he values the friendships that he does have with people. And him and Amira have been friends for like 10 years or something crazy. So I think that it did hurt him all that. Yeah. Well, and at the beginning of the season, Amira's kind of the only person who's really... Writing for him. Staying in his corner. Because, I mean, Georgia and him are on this.
Starting point is 00:16:13 Yeah. Twisted roller coaster. Man, the like crypto boyfriend, and then the new crypto boyfriend. I can't keep up. The club club and all of that. I'm like Georgia, I don't know what we're doing. No, yes, absolutely. I agree.

How do you feel kind of with like Georgia, Ava, Amira, now having been around them for longer, spent more time? Like, how do you feel like they're kind of like, you know, ingraining themselves in your life? Amira is like one of my absolute best friends.
Starting point is 00:17:33 I am probably one of the like closest to her. She's one of the closest people I am too on the cast for sure. Georgia and I have never really, never not really like never not gotten along. I don't know. like when we see each other we talk we hang out it's fun we've never really hung out like one-on-one i don't think um but i think when she was dating omar we went on like a double date or something like that but um eva and i found a friendship as the show goes on and she and i were really there for each other honestly and really were able to help each other through those times and we've spent a lot of times together
Starting point is 00:18:05 i think she's actually a really good girl yeah i feel like at the beginning of this season maybe there were like some things about like her attitude there was like that people event or whatever when Gio was saying that she had kind of had like the stank face a little bit like She did. Do you think Ava maybe needs like a little extra time to like settle in with some of the friendships or? I think that um at that point Ava had known that I wasn't comfortable with her
Starting point is 00:18:30 and I didn't really care for her not to be like a cunt or bitch. Sorry, so many words. Fuck. Um, not to be a mean person. Um, I didn't care for her after the situation we had had season one. Gia is like my ride or die. Yeah. Best friend.
Starting point is 00:18:43 Um, Her and Gia had some issues as well. So I think walking into people with two people that you know don't like you, preferably or prefer you. It's definitely a little bit nerve-wracking and awkward, but we were welcoming. The part where things kind of changed was when we had heard some things being said, and she was like right behind us. And we and Gio were like, what is happening right now?
Starting point is 00:19:05 But she had secluded herself from us that day. I don't know if it had to do with getting to know us more, or if it just was like we were all in a weird place with each other. and I'm glad that everything has looked up and is in a different place now. But I feel like also, like, around season one, there was, like, some conversation about, like, the housewives kids
Starting point is 00:19:24 versus the non-housewives kids. And, like, that was, you know, a thing with Charlie and maybe with, like, Ava and Georgia a little bit. And it does feel like now we're in season two, like, everybody's on this show for a reason. And we're past that initial phase of, like, who got cast for what reasons? It's like, you guys are the group
Starting point is 00:19:42 that's on the show and people are connecting with it for, you know, lots of different reasons. And so there isn't really that like, it doesn't really feel like there's a hierarchy. No, I completely agree. I think that that, like, narrative and that view of, like, looking at us as housewife's kids and stuff like that is gone this season. I don't think it really comes up at any point, nor is it something that we deal with, I think, because we had all gotten so much, we all had gotten, like, kind of relatively close for season. And then when cameras were down, I mean, I spent so much time with so many people that I think that that narrative was kind of shut out the door. But yeah, it was the last one to join first season. And so that's why when I
Starting point is 00:20:17 show up to the Brooklyn night out, everyone's like talking about my family and how I'm like, whatever, and Charlie's saying I'm a bitch and yada, yeah. Yeah, let's do. It's a fun way to join a group. I love it. I felt super welcomed. Totally. Of course. Yeah. So on season one with you and Riley, we saw you guys really, you know, starting to build more of this like adult friendship relationship. I'm curious, before coming into the second season, where did you feel like you guys were at with that relationship? Because then obviously we see the conversations that you've had since then. I thought that we were at a pretty good place.
Starting point is 00:20:56 In our friendship, she had a boyfriend. She was traveling. I didn't really want to bother her too much with stuff that I had going on and what I was going through with Hudson because I knew she had our own stuff going on between her family, between her, just living her life, working, doing everything. So, like, I thought everything was fine going into this season, and I was really going through a hard time,
Starting point is 00:21:17 and we didn't really talk while I was. Because she was doing her things. That's on me. I didn't reach out, like, a little bit here and there. But then when we had started, she wasn't originally going to do season two. And then she decided to thank God. I was begging her. We went to dinner, and I was like, please, like, don't leave me.
Starting point is 00:21:35 Like, come, you're my girl, whatever. So we went into it like great. Yeah. I mean that the whole like girls night, guys night was just. It was a lot. Kind of a fiasco. Yeah. And both aspects from the girls and the guys.
Starting point is 00:21:48 The guys night was a mess. They came to crash the girls night, which also had turned out to be a bit of a mess. But watching kind of what was going on between Georgia and Riley that night. And then also like I guess you weren't there for it, but on the episode kind of her and Ava's dynamic is a little bit. off, like, how were you kind of seeing that in the moment? How was I seeing it in that moment, or how am I seeing it now? Either one. So in that moment of everything that had gone on, I, you know, couldn't drink.
Starting point is 00:22:19 I was drinking my sparkling water, so it was like a voice of reason for anybody is what I was trying to be. And I obviously, like, we all go out and we all drink, right? And we all get too drunk sometimes. Heck, I've been there plenty of times. And I think that I knew that that kind of was what was happening that night, as I've been there myself. And I just try to do the best that I could be to be a friend and like do it how I know
Starting point is 00:22:41 how to support somebody and just kind of be there for her in every instance. And yeah. Yeah. So then she reaches out to you. You guys end up having this. Well, I called her actually right. The day after. I called her the day after.
Starting point is 00:22:55 It's not on camera because I did it off camera because I wanted to check on her. And I saw like the headlines were coming out and all these things. And I was like, oh, this is the worst to have to deal with. Obviously, when you have like a. night out that, you know, things don't always go our way, whatever. And so I had called her the night after and I had talked to her about, you know, everything. And I was checking on her and I was making sure she was okay. Whatever, whatever. And then I was like, we had House of Yes, a few days later and she ended up coming over beforehand to tell me she wasn't coming. And then that's kind of when
Starting point is 00:23:22 all of that had happened. You seemed really caught off guard by the direction that that conversation went. And I was. I was. Most of us felt the same way. And we had already talked, which is why I was a little bit confused. I had already checked on her right after to make sure she was okay, so I was a little bit confused. Yeah, I mean, I guess with hindsight, do you feel any less confused about where she was coming from, or do you feel like that's always just going to be like, I don't know what that was? Yeah. I have to be okay with that. In that moment, while I was sitting there and I was talking to her, like, it hurt my heart that I could make her feel like she wasn't supported in any way, right? Like, I don't want her to feel like that, and I'm not here to invalidate anybody's feelings and tell
Starting point is 00:24:03 and that they're wrong for feeling a certain way because everyone is entitled to feel how they want to feel. I just kind of what I had taken away from that conversation is I need to learn how to better make her feel supported. Not everybody feels supported in the way that I support. So I just wanted to find the way that I could support her best. And that's still kind of what I take away from the conversation. I thought I did a great job that night in my opinion.
Starting point is 00:24:26 I had looked at it like, wait, like she's going to be really happy with me for the way I handle this situation. And then it had thrown me for a loop. But again, if that's how she felt, I'm not here to say she's wrong. I just, I want to know how to be better. It is such a challenging thing. Like, that was maybe the first case on this show where, like, you guys were out filming in public. And I guess somebody saw it, I don't know, and had, like.
Starting point is 00:24:51 It's an interesting thing. We all still to this day, I wonder who was talking to the media. Yeah. Because that's something where, you know, when you're filming the first season of a show, obviously people knew who you and, you know, Brooks and G.N. Riley were, but like, when you're on a show for longer and people are more recognizable, like, that starts, I feel like that starts to become a little bit more of a weird extra element to deal with where it's like, okay, if there's like a page six article about me, you know, yelling at someone, then that's going to become a storyline on the show. And it kind of is almost this like, you know, snake eating its tail kind of thing. Was that in your mind at all this season? or maybe after that had come out about Riley? No. To be honest,
Starting point is 00:25:34 I wasn't worried. I was like, you know what? I'm going to do what I'm going to do. We're going to have whatever. Like, if that is the case. I don't read, though, anything that goes on.
Starting point is 00:25:41 Like, personally for myself. Like, I would never want to read an article about myself. I don't know. It just freaks me out. Even about my family or anything like that. Especially,
Starting point is 00:25:50 yeah, because of... I don't want to know. I know what I know and I know the truth. And that's all that I need to know. So whatever, whoever's publishing this day, like,
Starting point is 00:25:57 it's, you know. Right. Because I feel like especially with, you know, your mom being in the public eye for such a long time. It's like you could go down such a rabbit hole if you chose to. And so it's like... Even reading my comments is dangerous. The other day I posted a photo and everyone's like, is this your preview to your only fans?
Starting point is 00:26:14 I'm like, you guys are so... I'm wearing a bikini with a pair of cowboy boots and a shirt. Let's take a breath. No, this was just me wanting to act like a little flusy on a farm. I'm 24. And we live. And look, if you wanted it to be... And if I wanted to do that, and I was not somebody who is a person, like a woman of God,
Starting point is 00:26:32 maybe that would be my journey, but I am, and that is not going to be my journey. You're like, right now we have other checks that are clearing. Okay. So hopefully we never get there, but to those that do, good for you and as you should. Show it off. Speaking of kind of adding new extra layers to this season, I thought it was so fun that you guys were filming at BravoCon. And I, Gio was here toward the beginning of the season, and we talked about that experience a little bit.
Starting point is 00:26:55 Can you just talk to me about being at BravoCon with the show for the first time, but also being at BravoCon making the show? Yeah. One, being at BravoCon, I was so nervous walking in. I was like, why don't I have a meeting agree? I was like, nobody's going to show up. I'm like, I'm going to freak out. Like, I'm going to feel so awkward.
Starting point is 00:27:13 Yeah. And I was like, no one's even going to know who I am. Like, I couldn't believe I was already invited in the first place. Right. And I was honestly, like, in tears the whole entire BravoCon. Everybody was so sweet. And, like, it was just, I couldn't believe that anybody even cared to say like hi to me. I was like honored. And then they were so it was a really long days. Like I mean,
Starting point is 00:27:31 we were getting up at five o'clock in the morning, starting hair and makeup, going to BravoCon, spending all all day at BravoCon, which was a dream. And then also filming during that and filming after that. So we weren't rapping until really, really late. And then we also wanted to hang out. So it was like, that's on top of us. So we would film and then we would all hang out after. And so it was really long days. But I'm excited to see how all of that, you know, plays out. Because I think that a lot of dynamics shifted at BravoCon, getting to spend that time together and getting to be around each other like that. Interesting. Yeah. Because I guess when you think about it, like on season one, you guys went to Atlantic City, right? Yeah, and that was a disaster. Right. And so like, you haven't, having the
Starting point is 00:28:11 thing of like the whole cast going somewhere together is still a pretty new experience. And we were in Vegas. Yeah. Like I love Vegas. You know, I love Vegas. I'm like, this is fun. Like we were, not to say that the Jersey Shore is not fun, but Gia always says that that's not how she would have done the Jersey short, she would have done it a little bit differently. But it was fun. Like I walked in with some different feelings about some people and walked out like feeling like best friends with them. So we all genuinely spent. I don't even know how many people said to us like this is the first time, not the first time, but like this is rare.
Starting point is 00:28:42 Like I don't usually see a, every time I see somebody from a cast, I see all of them together. Like we were all together. Yeah. All of the time. Like whether we were going to John Summit or we were hanging out in the hotel room until five o'clock in the morning, 30 minutes before we need. to be up. Like, whatever it was, we all just, it was a really fun time. I think that's great because I feel like, obviously at BravoCon, part of the fun of it is that everybody from every show is there and it's so chaotic and there's all these crossovers and everything. But also it's like, it's a
Starting point is 00:29:09 cool experience to get to do with the people that you're on the show with. Yeah, we all did this together, you know, no matter what, no matter if Charlie was an ass for a season, no matter if Ava said something I didn't like, no matter if whoever pissed me off or whatever happened, And like, we all did this and we made this possible together and with what every single person put into this. And it turned out to be something great. And now we're all best friends even more so than we were before. And like, what a dream.
Starting point is 00:29:34 Yeah. Can you talk to me a little bit about our new people this season? So obviously we have Liam who you've been spending some time with on the show. And then also Rowan and Kendall. Can you just talk to me about bringing in some new energy to the group and kind of how that shifted things a little bit? Honestly, I think that going into this season, I was telling Rowan this the other day. I was like, I think everybody was a little nervous, you know, like adding somebody to a mix of
Starting point is 00:29:58 people who already get into it enough. We didn't know what was going to be coming. But I could honestly say that I think that it was the three best additions that we could have had. I think Rowan is phenomenal. And she is like one of the funniest people always putting on a bit. Like I'm always dying laughing around her. First time we met, she literally told me to move into her house.
Starting point is 00:30:17 And we spoke for three hours. And I heard about so many things that usually would not tell somebody or talk to somebody about within the first three hours of meeting. And then as far as Liam, he's obviously incredible. I think he's an amazing person and really has great morals and values and adds like a different also just like fun, goofy energy to the cast that I feel like shy has that too. Like shy has a very goofy energy and like I feel like Liam was a goofy energy and he's just very passionate and very just a good person.
Starting point is 00:30:50 And Kendall, she's on the quieter side, but I think that she speaks when necessary, and you'll kind of see as the season goes on. And she's one of my good friends as well. I get drinks with her and hang out with her sometimes, too. I think Liam said on the opposite, she's like a garlic aoli. I was crying.
Starting point is 00:31:06 She's not always there, but then when she is, she's there. No, she is. And I always tell her. And she's a little bit shy around the cameras because when I hang out with her, she's a chatterbox. And I'm like, you crack me up. I'm like, you're a little bit quieter.
Starting point is 00:31:17 She's like, yeah, I don't know. I was like, listen, I completely get it. It's a lot. When there's a camera in front of your face, it's a little bit nerve-wracking, of course. Well, and especially, yeah, joining a show where this season, there are a lot of dynamics kind of in motion. Yes, interchanging, too. It's a big thing to jump into.
Starting point is 00:31:34 Yes, I completely agree. But I think this season, it, like, it really feels like there is just a lot going on in kind of the best way with an ensemble like this, because it's like, you never know kind of from episode to episode what the, like, biggest focus is. is going to be. And it's not the same every week. No, it keeps changing. It's going to keep changing.
Starting point is 00:31:55 How has it been watching this season back? Like, how much do you feel like you're learning watching this season? I think I'm learning a lot. And I think I'm realizing like a few things about similar positions that I'm in. That is kind of like watching it back. It's like, oh, damn. Damn, this is, this makes sense. Or like, this is how I felt then.
Starting point is 00:32:11 Why do I feel like that now? Certain different things like in my life and in aspects with people, with whatever it is. But it's been fun. I think it was like I really was like in having so much fun. Like I just was trying to live my life in every possible way and be who I am and that I do and we'll continue to see. That I'm not excited for. This part's fun. It's really good until the end and I think like after our cast trip I kind of find myself on a pretty quick roller coaster hitting the bottom.
Starting point is 00:32:40 Well and you know this part's fun but you know maybe season two maybe there could be a reunion type of situation. And how would you feel going into that seeing everyone now with some time with the whole season unfolding? I mean, you know, I think I'd have to see the rest of the season to fully understand how I'd feel. I spent a lot of time with most of these people and I hang out with most of them pretty often. Obviously, not everybody. And there's definitely a few things that I have to say. Definitely a few things that give me crippling anxiety and make me like sweat. but I think that everybody would kind of have a few things to answer for.
Starting point is 00:33:20 And I think that there's some things that we don't all know yet until we watch this season. Yeah. It feels like it could be a reunion where it's like there's not just one person in the hot seat. Oh, no. Which is kind of fun. Yeah, I don't think there's just one person. I'm definitely in the hot seat for my love life and everything that's going on now, which, whatever, here we go. But there's definitely a few different people in the hot seat.
Starting point is 00:33:42 I think that if you have the opportunity, you should recreate your mom's first ever reunion look, which is the black and white? The yellow top with the best. Or black and yellow, yeah. That's an all-timer. Absolutely, absolutely not. I don't remember what I was saying
Starting point is 00:34:00 where I was doing an interview or something and I was like, the fashion times are definitely changing because what is this? Look, memorable. It was memorable. It was. That wig. Should I put on that wig too?
Starting point is 00:34:11 Honestly, she ate down. that time in life, she was eating down. It was, I rewatched that recently and it holds up. I cry laughing because sometimes I'll be on the TikTok like page where they're showing like clips from back in the day. And I'm like, what is happening? There was, I just rewatched. I think it's from season two recently where Nini sets up a private viewing for you guys of
Starting point is 00:34:33 the King Tut exhibition. Yep. And there's like some VIP lounge before. And everybody's just yelling like full on fighting. And it's like, you guys. Guys, we have to get it together so we can go view the King Tut exhibition. It's hilarious. Hilarious.
Starting point is 00:34:51 I love it. Well, I'm enjoying this season, and I think everybody else is too. And congratulations. Thank you so much. I'm happy that you guys and everyone is enjoying it and having fun with it. Yeah, thanks for being here. Yeah, thank you so much. And thanks everyone for watching.
Starting point is 00:35:03 Don't forget to rate, review, subscribe. And until next time, be cool. Don't be all like, I'm cool.
