He also shares news about the new season of Summer House, and a fun Peacock surprise for the 15th anniversary of WWHL. Later, he recaps this week’s RHONJ, which is a bit of a letdown after last week’s explosive altercation. Girl, winter is so last season.
And now Springs got you looking at pictures of tank tops with hungry eyes.
Your algorithm is feeding you cutoffs.
You're thirsty for the sun on your shoulders.
That perfect hang on the patio sundress.
Those sandals you can wear all day and all night.
And you've had enough of shopping from your couch.
Done hoping it looks anything like the picture when you tear up on that envelope.
It's time for a little in-person spring treat.
It's time for a trip to Ross.
Work your magic.

Mention It All
A Bravo by Betches podcast
We don't say that
But now we said it
With me, Dylan Hafer
Who's on check me both
Hey everyone
Welcome back to the Mentioned At All podcast
I'm Dylan Hafer
Coming to you on a Tuesday
Instead of regular Monday
Because you know what
It was Pride Week in New York City
And it kind of sucked the life out of me
And as much as I love talking about
My Jersey Girls on a Monday
Sometimes you just got to take
break. And here we are. We're still going to talk about Jersey and we've got some other,
some other things to get to. But I also, I also want to stop and take stock a little bit because
we have turned the corner into July, which means we are past the halfway point of this year.
And what a year it's been on Bravo in life. I guess we're mostly here to talk about Bravo,
not life. But a lot has happened across the board. And I actually was on our good friend Gibson
Johns' podcast, Gabbing with Gibb, that just came out today.
And we did a little check-in with some of the winners and losers of Bravo so far this year.
We did the same concept at the end of last year, and it was a lot of fun.
So he had me back on his show to talk about some updated winners and losers.
So I'm not going to rehash that.
Go listen.
It was a fun conversation.
But I do have some highs and lows.
I want to just quickly take a little gander back at because we forget sometimes all that's going on in our lives.
Do you guys remember the Real Houseways of Salt Lake City finale from this season?
What a moment that was.
What a joy.
What a time to be alive.
What a thrill.
Truly, I do think this is something where in January, that was the most iconic thing
we had ever seen.
And I do feel like we now have kind of, we're taking it for granted.
We haven't talked about reality of Montes in a minute.
We haven't thought about Bermuda.
And I feel like we should.
I feel like looking back at the end of this year, that will definitely be one of the
most iconic moments. I'm so excited to see their next season because I really feel like we don't
know what to expect. We know Monica's not going to be on it. We know the rest of the ladies will be back.
But like, what's going to happen? Who's going to? I did a, I got a little, you know, a little birdie
named Heather Gay told me when I saw her a few weeks ago that she and Lisa Barlow are tight right now,
which seems like a not necessarily what you would have predicted, but Salt Lake City. Thank you.
Thank you for making the beginning of this year so strong.
And then, you know, after that, we really, we had Summerhouse.
And they also, a high of the year.
Just all of Season 8 of Summerhouse.
And speaking of Summerhouse, we got news this week that they are beginning filming on season
nine this week.
Yes, we will have a summer house.
It's coming back.
And so is everyone else aside from Danielle.
Look, we got the Danielle casting news last week.
It was not shocking.
We already talked about it, but it must just sting a little bit more knowing that everyone else got that contract in the mail.
Like, it's not even like, oh, we're doing like a little, a little baby like retooling where, you know, we're moving in a different direction where, you know, we love you so much, but there's just not room.
It's like, no, everybody else can stay.
Gabby, you're coming back.
West and Jesse, veterans now. Carl and Lindsay, notably both staying in the house this summer.
There's a lot of question marks to iron out. How are West and Sierra going to coexist? How are Lindsay and Carl going to coexist?
How are Kyle and Amanda, husband and wife, going to coexist? That might be the dynamic I'm the most stressed about, which says a lot.
But yeah, I mean, it's got a, it's got to hurt a little bit for, for Danny Girl, as she apparently is known now.
But Summer House, I'm just so glad they're, they know how to crank it out.
I mean, Summer House doesn't have the luxury of other shows where they can just put it on pause for a few months and then start filming whenever they're ready.
It's like, if the cameras aren't up by the 4th of July, like, what are we doing here?
That's not the summer.
But we'll have a, we'll have a new season to look forward to.
And there's going to be new cast members.
This was reported in Variety yesterday by Kate Arthur.
She always has the inside scoop.
And so we are going to have new cast members on the season of Summerhouse.
So Danny Girl is going to be replaced by who we don't quite know yet.
But Summer House, a high, they had their highest rated season too.
And then just a little, a personal high, but I think it should be, you know, everybody get into the vibe.
Trying Lisa Vanderpump's new restaurant at Lake Tahoe, Wolf by Vanderpump,
was such a high, literally high altitude compared to everything else. If you're on the fence,
go to Wolf. It's probably nice in the summer. I probably wouldn't go in the winter. I'm not really like
a winter vacation kind of person. I don't ski. I don't know. It sounds like a lot of effort to get there
in the winter. But if you're in the area, Wolf by Tahoe, a high of my year so far at least.
The lows on the other hand, it's tough. We're in a tough spot with a lot of our, um,
with a lot of our iconic franchises, first and foremost, real Housewives of Atlanta, like,
just, I don't want to belabor the point, because we talked about this last week, the whole Kenya
situation, not knowing kind of what their cast is even going to be at this point, Choray is
like getting stopped by TMZ in a grocery store parking lot, wearing her She Buy Sherey hat,
being like, you know, as an OG, it's hard to watch this franchise just like die.
And it's like as an OG, yes, but also as somebody who was on the cast last season.
Like, I get that she feels that OG connection, but it's like also like they let you go last month.
So she has to still have some of that residual.
Like, I thought I was maybe going to get cast.
We still don't know what's happening there.
I haven't heard anything about if they've still been filming kind of what's going on there.
I thought about wearing my Shibai Shire hat this weekend.
And I didn't.
It's like a trucker hat, which just isn't really my vibe.
I think I've worn it once and I felt like I looked stupid the whole time.
But my she-by-sherie hat, it's collecting a bit of dust these days.
But maybe it'll come out of the closet sometime soon.
It's just in, it's physically in my closet.
It's not, the hat doesn't need to come out.
Overall, though, I feel like the low from the beginning first half of this year is just kind of like the lack of housewives coherence.
in the scheduling, looking back, knowing that we had a whole month of April with no new episodes
of Housewives, it's just, it's still, we made it through that time. We've had Jersey. We have Dubai.
We're about to have Orange County coming up next week, if you can believe it. I think it's
July 11th, yeah, a week from, like, what is time? I think it's a week from Thursday that it
premieres, July 11th, yes. So we have made it through the Housewives drought, but just the fact that
that was allowed to happen with all of the embarrassment of franchises that we have, it just, I can't
let it out of my head that I'm like, how was that allowed to happen? And knowing, thinking back to the
time when we were juggling Beverly Hills and Miami back to back on the same night for basically
their entire seasons.
And then they both ended.
Miami, you feel like up the short end of the stick.
And now they're, you know, turning their wheels, waiting to film for next season.
They're hanging out.
Larsa's launching new business ventures.
I did have to laugh.
I don't think I talked about this.
So a bunch of the Miami ladies were together a couple weeks ago at some launch event for Larsa's latest thing,
which is an iPhone light called the Larsa light.
And, you know, Larsa's a selfie queen.
Everybody loves their, you know, clip on selfie lights.
If you're on TikTok, I swear, every fourth video when I'm swiping down the For You page is like,
the viral Alex Earle selfie light is now on the TikTok top for less than it costs to get a slice of pizza.
So Larsa getting into the bespoke selfie light game might be a really smart business venture.
She might be a little late to it, though.
I think everybody already bought the Alex Earl light,
but I do feel like we need to address the fact that Larsa's last business venture,
Aluho Tequila, which she spent last season promoting,
to the best of my capability is not findable online.
I don't think this tequila has ever been sold.
I don't think it's ever been stocked in a store.
I don't feel confident that it exists.
outside of maybe something that she sampled and then the ladies had some of on the trip to Mexico.
But even then, I'm like, I feel like they poured the Casamigos in a new bottle and just slapped a
sticker on it.
Because that logo that she had the diamond necklaces of, first of all, I don't want a diamond necklace of your fucking fake tequila logo.
But you guys, it doesn't exist.
And if it starts existing in the future, I will stand corrected and I will be happy for her success.
But I, you do the Google.
It's not there.
Nobody's taking a photo with the bottle.
Nobody's reviewed it online.
I can't get too deep into this because I feel like, I feel like I need the tinfoil hat for Larsa's like business situation.
But anyway, the Larsa light, maybe that's a little bit easier to crank out.
Like you just, you know, you just like pay some drop shipping company and they slap your name on the light.
Make every get together chill.

That's why you rack.
But Miami.
That was such a tangent.
Miami's still not filming.
God knows why.
I don't know.
It feels like they've been acting up a little bit more on Instagram.
hanging out together. I've seen, you know, it seems like we're getting maybe in gear for the season,
but also I feel like sometimes cast members when they're not filming or when the network is
dragging their feet, they kind of take it upon themselves to like create a little bit of buzz.
And I have a sinking feeling that that might be what's happening with Miami right now where it's
like, oh, we got to give the girls something to gag over. So if we post a picture together,
everybody's going to be like, we need Andy in a camera. And like, it works because that's me every
time. But speaking of Andy in a camera, you know where I don't need Andy and a camera in London right now
because Maricio and PK are together? They posted these selfies of each other and I couldn't see PKs because
I'm blocked, which I forgot. I think I knew that at some point in the past. It's like Paul
Kemsley underscore PK. The profile doesn't come up. So I go to Maricio's profile. They posted the same
picture. They're like on a rooftop somewhere looking, you know, schlubby, whatever. Like I just,
there was a time when I feel like seeing pictures of Mauricio and P.K. in London together would have
like lit up some fire in me where I'm like, yes, the guys are getting after it. I got to know
what's happening. Boots on the ground. Who's in London? At this point, I'm like, do your thing
and leave us out of it. I just, with Beverly Hills, I'm like, I don't care. They're in Georgia right now,
by the way, the Beverly Hills Housewives.
They're like in Augusta, which is where Sutton is from.
Erica's also from the Atlanta area.
I don't know exactly where.
I saw people on Twitter being extremely negative about the fact that they're on a
cast trip to Georgia.
And the thing is, if there weren't the Sutton and Erica connection, yeah, I would be like,
why are they there?
What's up?
Where's the budget?
Why aren't they in like Dubai or Hong Kong or, you know, wherever the fuck?
I, there is nothing I want to see more than Sutton's track's upbringing.
Like, she is one of those Bravo characters who it feels like everything we learn about her makes me more confused.
I'm like, okay, so, so there was the MERS thing.
And then you own a minor league baseball team.
And then you were a dancer at some point.
And then also rode horses and are from Georgia, but lived in,
abroad somewhere and what is it's like there are so many pieces to that puzzle and you don't know
what each individual piece is going to look like until it slots in and like I want to know like I want
to meet Sutton's you know cousin that lives down the road and it's going to be like oh well you know
when we were kids Sutton Sutton was always the one who was like like that is the kind of
background context that I want on Sutton's track and even on Erica too I feel like there could be
some characters crawling out of the woodwork.
Like, we've met Erica's mom.
Like, I think there's more where that came from.
So I'm, like, kind of loving that they're doing this trip.
And I'm assuming this is like the early, you know, the, like smaller trip that they take toward
the beginning of the season.
So I'm fine with that.
We can do a trip to Georgia.
Why not?
Maybe they can go save real house size of Atlanta while they're there.
You know, find some housewives.
Drop off a care package.
They could use it right now.
Before we get into Jersey, I did just see something right before I sat down to record that kind of made me excited.
So the Watch What Happens Live 15th anniversary special was on Sunday. I talked about it a little bit last week.
But they are doing something fun where there is now a Watch What Happens Live 15th anniversary collection that is streaming on Peacock of it's a curated list of specific Watch What Happens Live episodes from the past decade plus.
And they posted the whole list on the Bravo social media.
So you can go look at it.
But a few of the ones that stuck out to me,
there's one-on-one sit-downs with Andy and Luan,
Andy and Teresa,
Andy and Vicky.
And they have episode numbers by them.
And with Watch What Happens Live.
Like the seasons are like 90 episodes long or something.
So if you look at the numbers,
it's a little bit confusing.
But like when you think of the sit-downs with,
it's like Luan after the Tom situation or like Teresa,
something about jail.
And like I think it's like the Vicky and Brooks and stuff.
Also, there's one-on-one.
ones with Teresa and Joe Judice, with Shannon Bador and David Bador, those like,
those like uncomfortable clubhouse sit downs where Andy basically grills them about their personal
lives. I will definitely be rewatching those. And then there's also some fun kind of like
random ones that they stuck in there, like Mary Cosby and Zeeway, which is just like,
the, truly like brainworms to the max. And then also Jeff Lewis and Kim Zulciak, which like I don't
remember exactly what happened on that episode, but I remember it just being like some pretty
amazing TV. So I'm going to be revisiting those and I feel like, I feel like it's a good like low stakes
rewatch kind of thing. And a lot of those old episodes of watch what happens live are really
kind of impossible to find online. Like there will be clips on YouTube and stuff, but they,
they don't really live anywhere once they kind of fall off of the, you know, it's not like all the
Housewives shows where the episodes are just on peacock forever. Interestingly enough, though,
in this curated list, there's no, there's no Nini leaks.
I don't know.
It says curated by Andy.
I'm like, okay, I'm sure Andy like signed off on this.
I don't think he was like brainstorming the list by himself.
But anyway, I will be digging into those Watch What Happens Live archives and I'm expecting
to find some little hidden gems there.
But I suppose we should talk about New Jersey.

This week, I think, was always going to be a little bit of a come down after the
explosiveness of the prior week's episode.
Obviously, ending with the Jennifer and Danielle fight at the Toulouli.
party at Teresa's house.
I feel like, do we feel like New Jersey is having more than average number of like objectively
dumb events this year?
Because as you know, I can't stop saying Biscuits' birthday party.
I've brought that up like every week.
We had Danielle's bougie brunch.
We had Teresa's Toulom party.
And now we have another boogie kids event.
Danielle is really, she's really leaning into the, the bougie kids' breakfast.
But this week, it's a boogie kids relaunch.
And I'm like, I kind of thought you just launched it.
Like, wasn't the New York Fashion Week thing?
Like, kind of one of the first big moments.
But I guess she's been doing this since before she was on the show.
I don't know.
It's like, I'm like, yeah, just own your shit.
You know, have a, have a Busy Kids Wonderland where everybody can take pictures
and where the women can have a chance to fight about what happened last week.
We are so thankful.
And it was planned by one of our failed new women.
Kayla,
love to see Kayla and Tiffany really hanging on deep into the season for the fact that they were not able to eke out any kind of contract.
We kind of get Tiffany's first useful contribution, I would say, talking about the Jen and Danielle situation, which we'll get into in a second.
I mean, this episode, it kind of feels like we're not.
really dealing with anything new here. And I think maybe this is part of the reason that this
season is like not headed for a good place is because we're, we're probably about halfway in.
And it kind of feels like we have already arrived at a place where it's like, okay, nobody's
getting along. People have switched sides. Where do we go from here? Because obviously,
after last week, Danielle and Jennifer done so. Jackie and
And Margaret, Jackie, and Dolores, those relationships are over.
Obviously, Margaret is not getting along with Jennifer or Teresa.
I mean, Teresa is, like, really riding on the Margaret hate train the last couple weeks.
She was like, how are you going to call Jay Evil when you're friends with the devil herself?
Margaret.
And last week, she's calling you the root of all.
Evil.
Teresa is, like, really, she's, like, leaning into the, like, satanic stuff with Margaret this season.
And like she really sees her as like the angel of darkness in a way that is just continually
wild to me.
Because I'm like, for what?
Truly.
But obviously, yeah, Margaret's not getting along with Jennifer or Teresa.
Melissa's not getting along with Teresa.
I mean, she like made up with Jennifer, but now I don't think they've seen each other in a
couple weeks.
So who actually knows?
There are just a lot of lines in the sand with this cast that are like not that interesting.
And I hate to say that because it's like, I don't, you know, at a certain point, it's like, what is this show other than people being mad at each other?
But I think it's like once certain relationships get to a point where there's no moving forward, then kind of what is there to talk about?
What do you do for the next six, eight weeks?
And I think that seeing everybody, pretty much everyone show up to Danielle's party except for Jennifer, it did kind of feel like, okay, so like the whole.
groups together, but like, what are we actually doing here? Really, the only person who's in a,
who's making any moves in the group is Jen Fessler, and I don't think she's doing a very good job of it.
Because she, at the beginning of the season, we saw her kind of make a little bit of inroads with
Teresa and Jen, which I did not have a problem with. I mean, I think that it makes sense for her as a
second season cast member who's a friend of to really kind of work the room a little bit and try to be
good with everybody and kind of see where it gets her.
I don't begrudge her that at all.
But then this week, now that we're in such a polarized place with so much of the group,
it felt like she was really leaning into her friendship with Jennifer and Teresa.
And unfortunately, the way that this group is right now,
you can't really lean into a friendship with Teresa and Jennifer without burning a bridge with Margaret, with Rachel,
potentially with Melissa, now potentially also with Dan.
Danielle, like it feels like Jen started this season trying to kind of be in the middle and then
all of a sudden, the middle doesn't really exist anymore. And I think, I mean, that's part of
what's not, what doesn't work about this franchise right now is that if you can't have a
middle ground, then there's not really any room for anyone to move around. But it sucks because
I liked the idea of Jennifer being somebody who was able to kind of bridge the gap a little bit.
and maybe it's her fault, maybe it's not,
but I don't think she's really, you know, pulling it off.
Because she's, you know, when she's talking to Jennifer,
and Jennifer's like, uh-ha-ha, remember when Margaret was like,
oh, she'll never love me the way she loves you,
or she'll never live you the way she loves me.
And they're like, yes, remember when Margaret said that?
It's like, Jen, it's kind of getting weird.
Like, this girl was your friend until four,
weeks ago and you didn't really have major beef like that. So the fact that now you're sitting around
while Jen talks shit about her, it doesn't like, it doesn't really make her look like a very
good friend. It's, it's a little bit flip floppy. And I don't think that, I don't think that
Jen Fessler looks good in a flip flop. But then at this party, you know, Danielle does invite her dad.
I thought that was nice. He was supposed to come. He's sick. He can't make it. Whatever.
Jury's out on whether that was real.
But they're all debriefing on the fight.
You know, Danielle said what triggered her was the allegation that she stole money from the charity.
And this charity thing, I, one of, one of the only reasons I feel like we could have used a reunion this season is because I'm like, can we get to the bottom of what happened with this charity situation?
Either she paid herself or she paid herself back or she made a profit or she.
everybody is saying like different versions of the same words that I think technically mean different things.
But we're not getting a clear answer on what actually happened.
And that's so frustrating because I'm like, somebody out there has a spreadsheet of who made, of who got what money and who received what check.
And it's like, we could just resolve this.
And I don't think we're going to because at a certain point, that's not really what they're fighting about.
And this is where Tiffany makes her little gold star contribution to the episode where she says,
it seems weird that this escalated so strongly when this charity thing happened months ago.
And Jen has been friends with Danielle until much more recently than that and didn't seem to make a big issue out of it.
And this is the exact same thing that happened with the Lena stuff earlier this season,
with the charity event.
You know, it feels like that is kind of the story of Jen Aiden's season,
is that she is like whipping up this controversy over stuff that feels like if it was
that big of a deal, it would have been a big deal in the moment.
And so because it wasn't, it's so hard to actually believe that this is why Jen hates
Danielle all of a sudden.
because it's like it just it wouldn't be that deep.
And the whole thing with the hair girl with Marissa, it's like I just don't understand
how this would make you that activated.
And, you know, we're never going to get like really a clear answer there.
And I think especially now with what has transpired off the show with Jen and the whole,
you know, fan account, screener, legal stuff.
stuff. Like, Jen is essentially, it seems, you know, off the show effective immediately. And so we're not
getting interviews from her. We're not getting watch what happens live. We're not going to, you know,
there's not going to be a reunion. So it doesn't feel like we're really getting any sort of like
expanded commentary from Jen on sort of the circumstances of the season. And as much as I think a
lot of the time, that kind of extra chatter is like a little bit silly. It's like, yeah, like we're watching the show.
we don't need your commentary on the edit or on, you know, what happened, you know, the day before,
yada, yada.
I feel like in this situation, I kind of wish we had a little bit more of a commentary track from Jen of like, oh, yeah, that was edited weird.
Oh, I said that the day before.
This was, production told me to invite Lena.
Like those types of things, I think could give us a little bit of extra clarity on her actual issue with Danielle.
But for, for reasons that she, you know, was responsible for.
We're not getting that from her, and I don't think we will.
Maybe someday, and by then we'll have stopped caring, but, you know, it is what it is.
The whole Gia Coke rumors coming back around again, is this weird to anybody else?
Like, I just, I feel like I'm having deja vu, but like last time it was fun and this time I'm like, again.
Because, okay, so John Fuda, when he made the comment about Gia, at least in the first
footage that they show in this episode, I didn't think he was referencing the specific rumor
about Gia doing Coke, or the analogy, sorry, not the rumor. He just said, when this stuff was
happening in my life, I was younger than your daughter is. So it's just illustrating that I was
not very old. Maybe there was more that we didn't see or something that got cut or something.
that alluded more directly to that situation.
But all of a sudden, it seems like everybody has just, like, agreed that he was talking about
this specific Coke analogy thing.
And it's like, oh, we're back to this already, that Gia's, like, having to ask if
John Fuda was talking about her.
And then Jen Fessler is, like, trying to do damage control for Rachel and John.
And Rachel's, like, can you not?
I've asked you to just like not.
And I mean, whatever.
I get that at this point, Rachel probably feels like she just doesn't want to have like any sort of relationship with Teresa.
And so she feels like if Jen is kind of working on her behalf, then it seems like she's trying to fix things or whatever when she really just wants to leave it alone.
The reaction is maybe like a little bit outsized.
Like, I think that Rachel in this specific situation, it feels like she kind of was just, like,
annoyed with Jen and then sort of saw a chance to have a little bit of a moment, which might,
you know, I don't begrudge a housewife for, you know, seizing the day, Carpe Diem.
But, like, it's kind of like, okay, like, she didn't like, it's not like Jen was like spreading
your public or your, like, your private information.
And it's like, she just was like, I don't think that's what he meant.
Like, okay.
If you don't want them to talk about it, that's fine.
But she didn't like say anything that crazy.
I don't know.
This Bougy Kids relaunch, it's stressing me out.
It's rare to say this, but I almost feel like we're at a point with this franchise where they would benefit from having less large group scenes.
Because every time they're together, it feels like there are so many, like, annoying personal issues at play that it's like, I would rather just see two or three of you have a couple.
conversation versus it always every episode it feels like culminates in like a just a mess of
people yelling at each other and it's like who why are we here who was mad at who like i think there
housewives seasons and franchises that have suffered from not having enough group scenes but i i don't know
of a time when i felt the opposite and i think that maybe it seems like what they're aiming for
now at the end of the season instead of the reunion is that they're going to have like the two halves of the
watch and react to the finale, which is that big, you know, sit down at rails that
Dolores is like presiding over. And I'm like, yeah, maybe that's better than a reunion,
because then it won't be people yelling over each other for two hours. I mean, I don't know
if it'll be particularly exciting or like, you know, iconic, but I do feel like, I appreciate
that they're trying something versus just saying like, you know, Christmas is canceled. No presents for
anyone. Like I like that they're thinking creatively a little bit, but it's just, it's tough. I feel like
last week I was really high on the adrenaline of, um, you're dirty. You're dirty. And this week,
I feel like the air got let out of the balloon a little bit. But I'm not, I'm not, I'm not hating
this season. I just, I think a little holiday break will do us all good. Not that they're taking a break.
I don't think they're, I think they have an episode next week. But you know, you know, you know,
know what I mean. But anyway, thank you everyone for listening. Don't forget to rate
review and follow the show wherever you listen. Maybe I'll go back and watch some of those
watch what happens live iconic episodes and chat through them later. But until next time,
be cool. Don't be all like uncool. Mentioned at all is produced by Dylan Hafer, Sean Kilby,
