The Hulu original series Furious is coming to Disney Plus, starring Emmy Rossum.
Furious follows FBI agent Alice Black on the hunt for a mysterious and calculating serial killer.
Both walk their own paths toward justice, and as their lives start to intertwine,
the line between right and wrong begins to blur.
Don't miss the three-episode premiere of the Hulu original series Furious on July 27th,
only on Hulu on Disney Plus.
Ariana, my favorite is when she's announcing the winners, but also the losers. And she's like,
and end in last place. Zach and Keda, congratulations. And it's like, I mean, they're last.
Hey, everyone. Welcome back to mention it all. Island time. I'm Dylan. Hey, Fray with Chris Burns.
Aloha. We're free. Well, almost. Well, we're not quite free.
Free. Because the reunions in a month and a half. We have made it to the end of Love Island USA,
Season 8, we have our winners.
Brinity, Brinidad going strong, riding up into the sunset.
As I predicted, in the first episode, I believe I said Bryce and Trinity for the win.
Thank you so much.
They overcame age and standing on the red dots and going to Paradise Cove on like night two.
And making out with strangers.
Lots of challenges.
Trinity had to get ketchup squirted in her mouth, which she doesn't like.
Surviving an owl.
Surviving, you know.
Surviving that neon yellow couch that blinds me every time they're talking.
They, they are survivors.
And Bryce and Trinity are now each $50,000 before tax richer.
Yeah, they're each about $39,000, $29,000 richer.
29K.
Which can't even buy you a bad car these days.
But still.
She's, I mean, when you're 22.
22, 29.
Oh, let's talk about the real prize for Trinity, okay?
getting out and going from like 2,500 followers to 2.5 million followers.
Yeah, we're going to talk about the followers a little bit later
because I'm going to make you guess kind of who gained the most.
Oh, okay.
Yes, I love that game.
Love Island, we made it to the end.
We made it to the end.
I do stand by my initial assessment of I don't understand why we're in Fiji.
Oh.
Why are we flying 22 hours to film what could be filmed,
on a soundstage in Newark, New Jersey.
I bet it's cheaper.
Did you see...
You're actually probably right.
There's Rob Lowe hosts this game show The Floor, which is like there's like a hundred people...
Is that in Fiji?
No, they film it in Ireland.
And he like was asked about this and he was like, it's literally cheaper for them to fly a hundred people plus the crew to Ireland than it is to walk across the street and film it on a soundstage in L.A.
That's so crazy.
That's why we got to get these tax credits.
Yeah.
But really, that's why everything is filmed in Canada.
That's why like every Netflix original movie now, you're like, oh, wait, I've seen that guy or
that girl in a Hallmark movie or in Schitt's Creek or something because every actor is
Canadian because they're filming everything in Canada.
Right.
They're like, oh, here, you dropped your bag.
And it's like, we're supposed to be in L.A. right now.
They don't even try to hide the accents anymore.
The only one without the accent is, like, you're going to be.
Cheshabar. Yeah, it's like they flew in the two Americans getting the big paycheck.
Okay, so Love Island, we're done. We have our reunion, which is going to be August 31st,
and we're going to recap that, which will be out September 2nd. And I do, mark your calendars.
We were discussing, yeah, it's a full summer between now and then, but we were discussing
how, I think some people are distraught about how far away the reunion is. But I do think that I
appreciate the time so we can see how things sort of unfold.
Yeah, I definitely, I wish for myself that it could be a little sooner just because the idea
that I have to be remembering some of these people's names until September is a little bit spooky.
There'll be people on that stage that were like, who the fuck is that?
All I have to say, they better not invite the, the Casa boys who didn't make the cut from 12 to 6.
No.
Because we can't be having whatever their names are on the reunion stage.
Someone posted an Instagram at the airport, some like tall, very handsome man.
And it was like, well, after 57 days, finally on my way home after being in a Fijian hotel.
I saw that.
And it's like the bombshell that didn't get.
57 days of them telling me, just be ready any minute.
And you know what?
He looks like sincere but hotter.
And it does say, but anyway, I'll see you next year.
If they made me stay locked up in the hotel, I think they get like an hour outside.
for 57 days or whatever the fuck,
I would be like, I'm never going back there.
They do that shit on Survivor too.
But that'd like to go back to the next year.
And on Survivor, they also keep like they have alternates
because the one year that kid,
remember the season that D won?
Did you watch Survivor?
I know D.
The guy that came and like runner up
and who she was like hooking up with on the season
only found out the day before that he was going on Survivor.
He was in the hotel and he was the alternate.
What if they had a shared alternate pool
between Love Island and Survivor.
They're like...
They don't tell you either.
Be ready for anything.
Tomorrow, you could be making a fire
or you could be making out with six women.
Honestly, I'm not a fun game.
That guy who was an unused bombshell,
he could have been good on Survivor.
Honestly, they're cross-pooling things, so...
What have you been doing with your nine o'clock hour
these last couple nights?
I started tufting rugs.
Tufting rugs.
Well, it's like, uh, I got to do something to keep my hands
busy. What were you doing with your hands while you were watching Love Island?
Taking notes, dubiously for this.
Well, I'd be lying if I said I haven't tufted a rug before.
Right, right, right, as one does.
You know, I'm a big crafts guy. It's the ADHD. It keeps things in order. But I will say I am
really missing sort of the tempel of LeVi-I. The schedule. Can I say I've read a whole book
since this season ended? Like, a whole book. What book?
50 Shades of Grey.
And it was called The Sucker Boy.
It's like a French coming of age.
Like it's a little bit queer, a little bit looks sad.
Oh, okay.
That's not what we're here to discuss them.
Call me by your name.
We have a few episodes of Love Island to get into.
Yeah.
Notably.
Some that were complete duds.
Yeah.
I mean, when you get down to the very end of the season, it's truly like, why are we
stretching this out?
Why are we baby bird regurgitating food that's been squirted into someone's mouth?
Yeah.
That challenge, I don't want to.
finale, the same as Survivor.
When they do like the walk through of like, this is your journey here, I'm like, we watched it.
This season, we watched it.
We don't have fucking amnesia.
Yeah.
I don't need to see the whole story again.
You know what?
The like memory photo walk of the last six weeks made me think of.
A funeral.
Me too.
At Travis and Taylor's wedding, they, in like the entryway, apparently they had like all photos from their
relationship like hanging up on the wall.
and they've been together for like three years.
It's like I...
And everyone is at an award show?
Obviously that's sentimental to you.
But like, you're not like middle school sweethearts.
No.
You were a fully formed adult.
I will say the only time I want to see like a picture or I'm like, oh, I don't even
want to say I want to, but the only time I'm not peeved by it is if the picture is in fact
because you were together and like when you were 15.
Right.
Like if you went to prom together and now I'm at your wedding, it's,
cute to see the throwback.
100%
Unless it's like a toxic relationship.
And then I'm like, oh, that's...
Oh, God.
You never grew out of that?
Unless it's Melania's.
They feel like they're at prom on that last night.
I think, well, the dates,
we'll talk about the dates too.
Yeah.
So we have family night, family day, which happened.
Which, how long do you think they get to talk with them?
Ten minutes?
It's a good question because the way they edit it, it's like they, their families come in one by one.
and it is like, so if you're in the last couple, you just have a whole day to sit around.
And you can tell it's late.
By the time they get to the last date, it's dark out.
Everyone else is already ready for bed.
Both family day and the finale dates, you can tell that the people, they're doing this over like a full day, one at a time.
And yeah, it is just like, I mean, not to compare to Survivor too much, but on Survivor, when they bring the family, it's like, come on in!
And everybody just walks onto the beach.
It's also like everybody, they should have like a barbecue or something for everybody.
I know.
And like, why can't everybody interact?
Instead, the family day is sponsored by coffee mate.
And they say it 500 times.
They're making, as I sit my beautiful Duncan cold brew, they're making, they're making like people's moms and sisters walk around with these coffee mate tumblers.
Which, listen, I love a coffee mate.
I get Duncan and I put coffee maker.
in my Duncan.
So I get the coffee mate
I guess if we're up all day.
That's why we're using coffee mate branding.
Sure.
After the Sarah V.
Karaoke night.
I do wish.
It's like an America's next top model
when they're like sponsored by Optique.
We're going to be seeing how you see things
through your lens.
I would have liked to see more interactions
between the families,
especially after seeing like Bryce's grandmother and Kenzie's little.
Yeah, because we mostly just get like the, each couple, their, they, their families come in with as a couple.
Yeah.
And so we do get some interesting dynamics where it's like, okay, like Carlin and I as mom are like holding hands as they walk into the villa.
Which?
But then you also get some really awkward moments where specifically with Melanie and sincere, they're like, I don't know what to, like.
Well, they hate each other.
Melanie's sister has been online talking shit about everybody, as she should be.
Sincere's family.
They live streamed them watching the finale.
They did.
But also, so the guy who was Sincere's dad.
Yeah.
Who I then saw yesterday online that like Sincere's biological dad posted something that it was his stepdad that was there.
Okay.
Who's been there since he was a little kid.
But in the intro, Sincere talks about how he was raised by his single.
mother and his grandmother. So some's not adding up. And I do think that that man did not raise
sincere. Everyone's like, that's exactly how a man should be. You know, you came in and you told him,
like, that's not the son I raised. Maybe it's not the son he raised because since you're saying he was
raised by his mother and his grandmother. Well, I like that both sincere's dad and Melanie's mom
say the exact same thing where they're like, I wasn't going to come here. But then I watched the show
and I saw the way that you've been treated
or the way that you've treated her
and I had to get my ass on the 22-hour plane
7,000 miles to set you straight.
And watching their whole like couple day
is so uncomfortable
because you can tell that like,
I mean, they have opposite goals
where like sincere dad and brother are like,
man, you really got to get it together.
You gotta work for this woman.
You gotta fight for this woman.
Whereas Melanie's mom and sister,
they have come to Fiji with one objective,
and that is extraction.
Yeah.
Get the fuck out of here.
Well, also, Melanie's like,
honestly,
I would be so shocked if my mom said anything.
My mom,
I know if my mom says something negative,
that it's got to be really negative
because she would never say anything.
And then her mom tells her like,
get out now.
And Melanie's like,
she goes, Melanie, miha.
I don't think so.
Melanie, I think I'm going to see how it plays out.
Yeah, I mean,
the moment of Melanie's mom.
mom speaking to her in Spanish really made me emotional because it was like, it felt like a very
genuine, like, authentic moment of a mother, like, seeing her daughter kind of in crisis.
Yeah.
And just being like, please see your own worth, let yourself be explored by other people that
aren't this guy who has had a million chances.
And to know that that's what they got on the plane to do.
Her mom literally was like, I wasn't going to come here until I saw it.
that I needed to be here.
And then they leave and...
Melanie doesn't change.
And Anaya, I thought Anaya's family being like, you're not being a good friend.
You're sticking up for sincere.
You're pushing her back into this relationship.
It is, to me, it's like so telling that almost everyone watching the show at home,
their families included, sees the situation.
It also seems like they were telling Anaya, like, people at home are saying you're a bad friend.
So clear it up.
Right, like, girl, you're going to get dragged in the comments.
You already are being dragged.
And, I mean, it's just, like, frustrating that whatever, you know, bubble or spell Melanie's under, like, she's just unable to...
And it's like...
We've all had friends who have been there.
Some of us have been there ourselves where it's like, I know this person is a piece of shit and they're ruining my life and it's never going to work out, but nothing anyone says is going to, like...
Well, and that's where also...
But also, baby, you're on TV.
just pretend. I think part of it might also be the thing of like, well, the finale's in three days
and there's no other option. So what am I going to do? Yeah. Which like I get, but also it's like,
just go home. You already have a million followers. Well, she doesn't know. But like, you know.
But I mean, I could see being worried that everyone was going to hate. Well, some of them got home and
found out that they were indeed being hated by everyone. But yeah, it's, it's frustrating to watch it. I just like,
I can't imagine being like Melanie's mom and sister and watching those last couple episodes and being like, well, we tried.
I can't imagine having someone that I know and love like a family member or a friend on Love Island, honestly.
My hope is that somebody sees sincere at the club with a girl like tomorrow.
Well, I saw a real yesterday that some guy researched and Melanie does not follow sincere.
Yeah, Melanie and Sincere...
But she's following everyone else.
Yeah, they don't follow each other, which, you know, sometimes couples operate a certain kind of way.
That's a weird way to operate.
I remember famously, Lala Kent and Randall Emmett never followed each other on Instagram.
So we're going to model the ideal relationship around Lala and Randall?
Not like...
I mean, I don't want Sincere and Melanie to be together.
But I remember they had like talked about not following each other on Instagram.
Lala's like, I really don't want people to know that you know me.
And like every six weeks, somebody would post and be like, breaking news, Lala, no longer following Randall.
And it's like, she never was.
Baby, she never was.
But why?
I don't know.
Isn't that weird?
It is weird to me.
I knew a girl who her and her husband, like, when they first started dating, didn't follow each other.
And then it became like a thing of who was going to follow the other first.
So then they've been married for like eight years.
They still haven't followed each other.
Okay.
And I'm like, oh, okay, that's funny.
But also they're kind of psychotic.
So I.
But the one.
I don't know.
Their Instagram following habits is that yesterday...
Also, Instagram means a lot to Melanie.
Remember?
She was going to change her handle.
Sincery no.
Sincere, you know, how you can see, like, the number of people that someone is following.
People were refreshing since your Instagram yesterday, and the number was dropping, dropping, dropping.
People he was following?
Oh, he's, like, oh, he's, like, unfollowing all the, like, bitches in his phone.
Or he's, like, trying, you know how some people are like, oh, look, it looks way cooler.
if I have way more followers than I am following.
He already has way more.
He follows like 2,000 people.
That's true.
I mean, I don't know.
Some people do that, though.
It's been interesting to see kind of like the first moments of them having their phone back.
But whatever.
Melanie and sincere, they stay together.
What did you think of their final date?
I thought it was kind of nice.
They were on this like boat.
It was like kind of forgetful for me.
I'm like having trouble even remembering what they did.
Yeah, they went first.
And so it was kind of like.
Like, it felt very, yeah, Blase.
I remember Zach and Cadas really specifically.
Well, you know what was funny about Melanie and Sincere's?
They get to this like multi-level, like boat floating.
Oh, yes.
It was just a floating party barge.
There's one massage table in the middle of this enclosure.
And they're like, oh, massage.
And then they do rock paper scissors to see who's going to give the other one a massage.
And I'm like, sincere, get to work.
But also I'm like, what is this?
this. I was watching it and I was like, you're getting one date after like 50 days of being in the villa.
Hire a fucking masseuse. And also, why are we even bothering going to another floating thing?
I just don't. We were just on one. If I'm going to take my clothes off and get on a massage table,
I need there to be a professional there to give me a massage. I don't want to have sincere playing around
on my back. They might as well have gone bowling into checkers. Like, it was, that was the lame
No, it wasn't good.
And then they make pizzas.
Oh, yeah, I'm like, oh, so we have to give our own massages.
We have to make our own dinner.
But you know, I was waiting when they were doing rock paper scissors and sincere lost and had to give them massage.
I was waiting for him to be like, best two out of three.
Oh, yeah, literally, or just lie.
Well, actually, scissors means that it covers the brock and then the paper.
Let's talk about Zach and Keda's.
Okay.
So, Zach and Keda, they make it to the finale.
even though Zach has been like crashing out about being
not in America's top three favorites, whatever.
Their family day is like fine.
I think their families aren't like obsessed with each other,
but that's okay.
Yeah, the families gave,
we'll get along at the wedding if we have to.
If we have to.
And we're so,
we're so proud of our daughter
for being in an exclusive situation.
Yeah, that I didn't really.
The continued,
like everybody having to like check in
and be okay with whatever.
is happening in their relationship.
It's like, okay.
Yeah, okay, whatever.
I also did, like, when Kada, like, confronted Trinity about that.
Trinity, like, stood by what she was like, look, I thought you were going to be a lot
more excited for me that we were exclusive.
And so it hurt that you were, like, situation ship.
She's like, whatever, bitch, I'd say what.
Trinity's like, girl, I guess.
Whatever.
The amount that Trinity says, bitch, is so funny to me.
She says it after every single sentence sometimes.
She says it with love.
I live for it.
But, no, I know.
So Zach and Kada, I think, get a final date sort of befitting of their relationship status,
which is a whole lot of whatever the fuck.
It's like, have you ever been on the, like, speed things, the swamp, crazy swamp boat,
like in New Orleans, where it's like a speed boat swamp tour?
I know what you're speaking of.
The answer is no, because that doesn't look fun to me.
I've done them.
Hung over also.
But that is literally what it is.
Rooms, your hair.
They, they really, that poor girl.
Kate's hair is hanging on by the thread.
Her clippins are.
Her clippins are barely hanging on.
And then they, so they're on this like speedboat through the swamp.
And then they get off at this table that is like adjacent to the swamp.
And they have some lovely deli sandwich.
Like they're like public sandwiches that have been left out for three days.
Yeah, egg salad sandwiches.
And she goes, ooh, that is hard.
Hard bread.
It is really wild.
I mean, the whole season, it feels like they have weirdly budgeted for certain things and not for others.
But these final dates, it's like, since you're in Melanies, it's like, okay, that like location on the water is cool, but then they're making their own pizzas.
There's no masseuse.
Yeah.
Kada and Zax is like really slapdash.
They paid probably like 50 bucks for that, for the ride.
They rented the table and chairs.
Like none of, or they just brought it from the villa.
I'm sure they brought it from the villa.
You're like, wow, this bench looks familiar.
Like, it just, there was no budget on it.
But then.
Anaya and Carl and Bryce and Trinity, their dates definitely were like a little pricier.
Yeah.
Anaya and Carl, can we like stop pretending?
I'm like, I feel like we're all, yay, Anaya and Carl because Anaya's heart was broken.
People were...
But they've known each other for like a few days.
Yeah.
It's tough because they do have like a nice, like it's, you know, the way they are with each other is nice.
Of course, but any couple within the first fucking week that likes each other is going to be like that.
I've really had a hard time with that storybook that they.
Oh my God.
What do we order it?
It's like the storybooks you can order online for kids where you plug in the name.
It's, yeah, it's from like photos direct.com.
Why, like, I don't get why we're calling them king and queen or whatever.
It went on for so long.
And it was like, yeah, I, again, I watched the show.
I don't need three walks down memory lane of something that happened a month ago.
And the way that they're, not even a month ago.
The way that they're, they're reading it together and acting like each page is like blowing their mind.
They're like, once upon a time, there was a princess, a Naya.
That's my name.
That's.
Yeah, and that's, oh, that's me and I walked into the villa with Kenzie.
Turn the page.
Princess Anaya didn't get picked, but then she got picked.
By the evil jester, K.C.
And then like, then there was a second prince, Prince, Carl.
And then he saw that Princess Ania, it's like, we, first, it's not even written at a third grade level.
It's written at like a, like a.
And an Amazon.com level.
Chimpanzee with a.
typewriter. It was an AI, like, literally. I was trying to figure out if it was AI, because, like, it was
the idea was it? And who, like, we got behind that so hard that we made it a whole date? The thing is,
if they did that for Bryson Trinity, I might have been on board. It still would have been a little
bit much, just like the full length of it. Yeah. And, like, having to wear the plastic,
were those the same crowns that Kenzie and Dylan got at the end of karaoke night? Yeah, they made them
leave them when they got kicked out.
I think that's maybe where I feel like a little too old to be watching this show is it's
like, I don't actually need to believe that these people that met two weeks ago and are getting
along well are like a fairy tale romance.
I agree.
And you know what?
I feel the same way.
We're not talking shit about these young 20-somethings looking for love.
It's the production that is the problem here.
They're leaning so hard into, I mean, even Ariana in the, at the like, finale finale,
when it's like Anaya, did you find you're happily ever after?
And it's like for tonight maybe.
Like, it's been less than a month.
It's fucking crazy.
You know what I love Ariana.
My favorite is when she's announcing the winners, but also the losers.
And she says every single one.
Like she's like, and in last place, Melanie and sincere.
She's like, fourth place, Zach and Keda, congratulations.
And it's like, I mean, they're last.
They made it to the finale, but they're last.
Yeah.

I honestly, I kind of thought Casey and T-T were going to make it to the finale.
I did too. I was surprised.
Because I felt like post-Casa, I mean,
I would have said that their connection seemed stronger than Carl and Anaya.
Not to pit two exes against each other.
No, but they have been together longer, technically.
I mean, and Casey chose Titi.
And also asked him to be or asked her to be his girlfriend.
Yeah, I mean, obviously, like, it's kind of like, who cares?
I mean, they left like two days before the finale.
But, yeah, the Anaya and Carl, it feels like propaganda a little bit,
where I'm like, they seem just fine.
I believe that maybe they'll try to keep it going in the outside world.
I feel like they said the audience loves Carl.
Let's also love Carl.
Yeah.
Let an I love Carl.
It was too much.
I felt like Carl was being shoved down our throats a little bit.
Yeah.
And I just, too much with the storybook.
And he's like, he's like the smart guy they all go to for like advice.
They both play volleyball.
I'm like, if they talk about how they both play volleyball one more time,
I'm going to lose my goddamn mind.
What does volleyball have to do with a relationship?
Well, do you know anybody that's dating because they met because of volleyball?
Okay, great, we have volleyball in common.
That's something we met at.
That's not going to sustain a relationship.
I know a gay guy who plays, like, gay volleyball, and I feel like there's probably couples there.
Gay relationships are completely different.
You know, there's, like, gay kickball marriages.
Of course, there's gay volleyball relationships,
and as soon as one of them says, I can't do volleyball anymore.
Actually, you know what volleyball really makes me think of?
is nexium.
Oh, that's...
With the Keith Rineery,
they would always...
Albany.
That not only was
nexium from Albany,
it's from Latham,
which is my exact hometown.
Oh my God.
Were you ever...
It was right around the corner.
Do you have a brand on your ass?
Um,
I was never recruited.
I also had a cult in my college town,
12 tribes,
and they also never recruited me.
So...
You're not like other girls.
I, well, I would have liked to.
I went into the 12 tribes.
They had a beautiful restaurant.
It's like you have to have like a membership
ship guard to get the discount. No, it's like they're, it's
Yellow Deli. They're all over the world, really, because it's like a, and it's run by the
cult and they're open 24 hours Monday through Thursday, bizarrely.
You know who I feel like could start a cult right now? Bryson Trinity. And I would join.
They would have like two million members. More. Probably. I mean, they're the winners.
They're the winners of $20,000 each and an eternity of love.
Eternity of love. They say, he says he loves her on their date. I knew they were, yeah.
They get the last date, which feels predictable.
And can I say, I do believe when he says he loves her.
I believe it too.
Because I very rarely in a reality show like this kind of situation, like a bachelor.
I'm like, I do feel like they love each other.
Over the course of the season, it felt like we really, it was easy to see their relationship getting stronger and deeper.
And I think like with some of the couples, it feels like they, they couple up.
That's their person on the show.
And they talk about their connection and how strong it's getting and how closed off they want to be.
But it's like, okay, you still, like, nothing really seems that different.
Yeah.
Whereas, like, with Bryce and Trinity, I feel like they've been very, like, open and vulnerable about, like, even in Kasa, like, Bryce talking about how much he, like, missed her.
And her too.
Stuff like that where it's like, it's like, it.
It doesn't just feel like they're together because it makes sense for them on the show.
And it was really nice.
Totally.
No, I really hope they stay together.
I don't know if they will, but I hope they do.
They have, like, um, Fijian dancers who come out at their dinner and that's nice.
They have, like, a giant heart.
A giant heart that's set on fire.
I mean, it basically should have just been fireworks that said you're the winner.
I mean, that's the whole thing with this show is like, obviously, like, I wasn't sure
whether, you know, Zach and Cato
we're going to get third place or fourth place, whatever.
Like, it doesn't really matter.
But it was a little anti-climactic
because we all knew Bryce and Trinity
were going to win like a month ago.
Totally. I mean, I was
ready for some sort of an upset.
Well, I feel like the...
So between Family Day and the finale,
they got rid of two more couples.
Oh, yeah.
Which was Casey and T.T. And then also
Dylan and Kenzie didn't make the cut.
No.
Kenzie has already, she's on call her daddy
She is?
Oh my God, I did watch Afterson with Kenzie and Dylan and them.
Parmita's like mad at Kenzie.
Well, Permita in Afterson, Parmita's like, I just have one thing.
Kenzie, when we were leaving and we were all saying our goodbyes, you said like,
you wanted to be friends with me and that you love me.
And I just want, like, no, you don't.
You don't love me.
And Kenzie was like, oh.
Yeah, I guess you're right. No, I don't love you, but I do think, like, we could be friends.
That's like, that's kind of just like what you say, when someone's living.
Yeah, Kenzie literally was like, no, I mean, yeah, I don't love you, but.
I feel like Kenzie is going to have a good, like, trajectory outside of the show because
I feel like, obviously, like, Bryce and Trinity have, like, the love story of the season,
but I feel like a lot of the other people are kind of, like, a little boring.
Yeah.
And I think Kenzie will.
I think Kenzie had, like, a little bit of a little bit of.
a messier season, but she actually seems like kind of fun. Yeah. And like she has a real personality
where it's like, I don't know that I really know what like Anaya and Keda's personalities are
outside of like simping for men who maybe aren't good for them. Anaya especially, I feel like.
Yeah. I, I, it's an interesting time that we're entering now where everybody's getting their
phones back. Which I love. People are deciding what they want to.
do. Something that was interesting is like, as we're recording right now, most of the like
finale people haven't really started posting, but Trinity posted this story that was like
create mode, cursive font. To her like two and a half million new followers. Specifically talking about
how everybody needs to stop sending hate to Zach. Yeah. And she tagged a bunch of the other
islanders in it and they all were reposting into their stories. Like this was like a basically like
group statement in solidarity. It was absolutely because I also saw a thing. They were all at the airport.
So I guarantee we're all at the airport. Everyone's on their phone. Zach is all upset because everyone
hates Zach. But the thing is like, does everyone hate Zach? No, but you know when you get like for every
hundred nice comments or messages, the one mean one is like for whatever reason, the one that.
And I think that Zach, I mean, this was kind of, I feel like this was kind of like foreshadowed in that
America vote where they weren't in the top three.
And he was like going to the bedroom spiraling about how America hates him.
Like I do feel like out of all the people on this cast, I could see Zach being the one who's kind of like, bro, everybody hates me.
Like what have I done that's so bad to Kada?
Yeah.
And why am I getting, and apparently his TikTok was getting like spam reported and got taken down.
Well, apparently Kada got her TikTok banned.
I don't know if it got bad.
Her Instagram is like deactivated right now, but maybe that's her.
I don't know if we know that it's like banned.
But Zach's TikTok got banned, but then now he got it back.
I just think like, I mean, first of all, people need to like chill.
Like, why are we reporting anybody on TikTok?
But everybody that's getting their phone back, it's going to be overwhelming.
And I think a lot of these people might be better at sort of like filtering out the noise.
And I could see Zach being like, okay, one mean comment.
Like I do think a lot of social media.
I saw a lot of videos that were like, think pieces on why Zach is bad.
I think that maybe with Zach, it was like, with some of the other guys, like with Corby or with Casey, I think there were moments on this season where it was like extremely clear what they did wrong.
And they kind of got raked over the coals in the show and had to apologize for it.
And maybe with Zach, the stuff that he was saying and doing that people responded negatively to was like a little more under the radar.
Yeah.
So maybe he didn't...
Well, a lot of people are like he's a bad guy in disguise.
Yeah.
So maybe he was a little bit less aware during the season that he would be perceived negatively.
Yeah.
He, yeah.
The jury's out with Zach for me.
Because I can see how you would, like, fall in love with him.
Mm-hmm.
But I also see he's probably a fuck boy in disguise.
Like, I think he's gonna...
very quickly back.
I think it's going to be out of sight, out of mind a bit.
Yeah.
I mean, that's the thing, like, with all of these relationships, I would, I mean, again,
I think Bryson Trinity is the only one where I'm like, I am, I, I don't know if
Bryce and Trinity will be together forever, but I don't, I don't think that he's going to, like,
cheat on her at the club next week, and she's going to block him on Instagram.
Yeah, no, I don't think so either.
I could see them being like, there's going to be in, like, six.
months a mutual post that's sent out, like we've mutually decided that we're going to part ways.
Yeah, if anything, I think maybe the age difference will sort of come back around in the real world.
I'm also like that age difference really isn't that anything.
It's not, it's not that the age difference is so crazy.
I think it's more of like a life difference where like if she's used, I don't know if she lives
at home in Virginia, but she's from Virginia and she still lives there.
if she has never had a life experience that's living somewhere away from your family,
being out in the world and having opportunities and navigating,
and now you have millions of followers and brand deals and exposure.
Well, dare I say she's going to skip that,
she's going to be able to skip that step of living in squalor and working for your own.
But it's almost like I, it's like along with that though,
you're skipping like a developmental thing.
No, totally.
That's what I'm saying.
Where it's like she's never going to be like 24 and figuring it out.
Like he has, man.
She's going to be 24 and like rich.
And I think that's different because we see, I mean, Bryce's family day.
I mean, their family day is really sweet.
Yeah.
And Bryce's grandma and mom like his, you know, he did not grow up wealthy, single mom.
Yeah.
Like his grandma is so cute.
She's like, get them to the hideaway.
I know.
Literally.
She's like, it's been six weeks.
What a fuck?
And then when she's, uh,
Oh, really?
You said he had a turtle tongue to Kenzie.
I loved that.
That was so sweet.
And, like, I feel like you can tell that Bryce has, like, lived some life.
Well, totally.
I'm like, you can tell why Bryce is the way, like, so.
Yeah.
It was just, like, really, I mean, family day is, like, there's some of it's boring, but, like, that was nice.
That was very nice.
It was nice.
I do agree with you.
I think, like, an age difference that's, like, 30 to 38 or whatever their difference is, is different than 22 and.
Yeah, and I don't think that Trinity seems like immature for her age.
I just think that the maturity level at those ages is different.
I'm like at 22, I was like, no, there's no way I should have been doing anything.
Right, it was like so exciting for me to have the opportunity to like black out somewhere.
Oh, I'm like, I don't even remember most of 22.
But we'll see.
The one thing in the finale that I wanted to, we haven't talked to about is the,
the montage of messages from celebrities that we get.
They're like watching.
Celebrities.
First of all,
we watch yet another like walk down memory lane video package of all of their,
the couples.
And then we get more family messages since Sears' mom is on there.
And then.
Anaya's dad.
And then we cut during.
Well, Ken,
before we get to this.
Yeah.
Speaking of the music, okay?
So a lot of people don't realize that,
Lizzo has dropped a new album recently,
which has been met with horrible reviews.
And I am a big, was a big Lizzo fan, okay?
I stand by the best concert I've ever been to
was because I love you at Terminal 5 with Lizzo.
I think she's incredible.
This new CD is absolutely abysmal, okay?
Horrible.
And one of the songs on it is in Love Island when they're waking up.
And it's like, good morning.
time to get your ass up
That's a literal song from the album
Well you know it's like
She made that song for Barbie
I know
It's like when I wake up
But totally and I'm like yeah
But that was for Barbie
It wasn't on her album
What if that's just Lizzo's new sound
That is her new sound
Good morning by look it up
Look up the lyrics
It makes zero sense
She's out here saying it's like
The album is called bitch first off
Bitch
Like it's just whatever
And so
That's that's
That's why they do this montage and I'm like, oh, God.
So it's, yeah, so they lead directly from the parents talking into Lizzo.
And at first I'm like, oh, is Lizzo like now the host of Love Island or something?
But then it keeps going.
Is Lizzo now the host of Love Island or something?
Well, she probably needs a gig.
I don't know.
She will.
But so we get messages from Lizzo, Demi Lovato, Alex Warren, who's the ordinary that guy.
Yeah.
I saw him at Jingle Ball last year.
I saw Demi Lovato a couple of weeks ago too.
Some work.
Sierra wearing sunglasses
Jordan Sparks who thanks Bryce and Trinity for singing no air
at karaoke night
Somber who doesn't make much of a splash with the
islanders you know who is probably the biggest cheer
is Druski which makes me feel so old
Kesh is in there Kailani they all love Kailani
which like same
It was so random
I'm like these also they're young
Do they even know Kesh?
No somebody said I love it
her. But also like the, I, whenever they make, make, I don't know who like told them all their
publicists. They're like, hey, girlie, if you have five minutes before the show tonight,
they're all very like home filmed in whatever setup. And so it's like some, some people are like
the cameras here. Some people are like, oh, I put it on a tripod. Kesha is standing far back and
she like doesn't have pants on. Alex Warren is like, I also love French fries. And then he holds up
like a bowl of crinkle cut fries.
Yeah, he thought that was great.
It's like, it's very like...
Someone else gave him that idea.
Galgadote, imagine video from the beginning of the pandemic.
Don't even bring that out.
Imagine.
Imagine there's no countries.
It's easy.
I can't do.
COVID was a fever dream.
COVID was a fever dream.
But, yeah, I don't not, like, that was...
It's this drag race does that too, where they're like,
we have a very special surprise.
And it's like a video of Chris Jeff.
and are being like, good job, girls.
It's like, I think the gag is, for them, is supposed to be like, oh, my gosh, all these
famous people know who we are.
Like, it's so crazy that Alex Warren has been watching this season at home.
And now, now Alex Warren is so famous.
And now so am I.
And it's just like, okay.
For today.
Yeah.
Like, you know that this is on TV.
You know that people watch it.
Like, I don't know.
It just was like, I also just don't get it.
Like, I don't get why.
They had to fill a lot of time to get that finale to like an hour and 50 minutes or whatever it was.
And I'm like in some poor producer who like had to reach out to all of those famous people.
And it was probably like, okay, who do we know that watches Love Island?
And someone's like, Kasha posted a story where they were watching Love Island.
They're like, okay, we got to reach out to Kasha.
Oh, I was thinking, I bet it's less curated than that.
I bet it's like they text like 10 publicists and it's like, hey, can you send this to your list of clients?
It would be like, does anybody have two minutes to make a video?
Yeah, you're probably right.
Like, I don't think Sombor is like posting about love.
Is Somber watching Love Island?
To be honest.
He is like 20.
I didn't know who he was until I know him only by the name.
Okay, see, I really like Sambor.
I thought he was like a DJ.
I really like Sambor's music, but visually he makes me uncomfortable.
I get that.
He's so skinny.
I get that.
I really love Demi Lovato's singing voice, but I don't ever have to see her.
Do you know what I mean?
You just saw her.
And that's where I came up, where I really formed my opinion.
I think she's an amazing.
Like, well, this is a whole other story.
When I wake out.
Wait, okay, did you see this thing that while the show was still airing, all of these brands were posting on social media, like enticing Melanie to leave sincere?
I did.
Okay, so a couple of, some of the things that she was offered is a lifetime supply of free facials, haircuts, blowouts, manicures and pedicures, clothing, hair styling tools, shampoo, tanning, real estate services, IV therapy, boudoir, photo.
Photographs, wings, burgers, burritos, cheese steaks, coffee and macha, candy, pastries, pizza, gym memberships, personal training, nutritionist, and a one-time offer for free minor league baseball tickets.
I'm going to need to sweeten the pot.
So the estimated value of- Is the real estate services a house, or you're just being my realtor?
It's like, it's like Chrisel being like, hey girl, give me a call.
Yeah, selling sunset, for sure.
Christine Quinn is back, baby.
The estimated value of the things that she was offered is over $700,000, which obviously this is not that serious.
And she was also in the villa without her phone when all of this was happening.
So funny.
It is like people really wanted her to leave sincere.
I do think that, but I also think a lot of businesses saw other businesses doing it.
Don't even watch the show.
Or their social media managers were like, we have to do something.
Because it's also, I appreciate when it's like a good.
Yeah.
A funny thing, but sometimes I'm like, what the fuck is she going to do with minor league baseball tickets?
See, I kind of think it's funnier when it is some like random ass thing that she doesn't want.
Then when it's like Buffalo Wild Wings being like, here, girl, have some wings.
And it's like, enough.
That's true.
And also, how are you going to give that to her?
Like, I kind of, if it was like Rita's water ice or whatever, it would have been on brand.
I don't know if they offered her free water ice.
They should have.
Also, we're now in the like social media time frame.
People are gaining lots of followers.
No surprise, I think probably the person who has gained the most followers this season.
It's Trinity.
Instagram and TikTok combined.
She's at 4.8.
Damn.
Right now.
4.8 million.
Damn.
And it's going up still.
Like she is.
Like she hasn't, at least as of like this morning, she hasn't even posted on her grid yet.
I wonder who, what manager has gotten her.
because I'm like, she couldn't make millions of dollars in this year.
And will.
And, yeah.
So I hope she's represented well.
If she's working, I mean, all of the sort of main people from this season are in the millions now between Instagram and TikTok, which is crazy.
That is crazy.
Wait, who do you think is the second most followers out of this season?
I saw that Kada had a lot on TikTok.
the second most, maybe...
I don't think you're going to guess it.
It's kind of surprising.
Kenzie?
It's Caleb.
Oh, I did hear something about that.
Between Instagram and TikTok, Caleb has over 3.3 million followers right now.
And I've also seen he's been doing some, like, club appearances already.
I saw an awkward.
He was like behind the DJ thing.
I saw that.
It was so awkward, though.
He showed up with Polly D. somewhere with Nick from last season of Love Island.
I just got, um, on my TikTok.
like some club on Long Island posted like Caleb's going to be here this weekend.
Get your tickets now.
That's nuts.
And he's getting paid probably so much just to be there.
The thing is, that's the thing.
It's like he's striking while the iron is white hot.
Yeah, you have to.
And if he's getting like $20,000 to go to a club for an hour on Saturday, he might never
make that again.
No.
I mean, he can make that much money.
No, I'm sure he will.
But he's not going to be getting club appearance fees in like a year.
Well, and also.
I think he, it seems like he's capitalizing on leaving a week, 10 days before the end of the season,
because he was already doing these club appearances while, you know, Sincere and Keda and Zach are still on the island.
Yeah.
And so suddenly when everybody's home from the season, the market gets flooded, whereas, like, if you're the first hot guy to be available.
Totally.
And now it's like, it's the same thing with drag race where they're like, unless you're an early season queen, you're not making money like that.
unless it's the first couple weeks that the show's out because like it's just a saturation of
right of people it's the same thing with like like summerhouse for example i was watching i don't watch
like all of summer house i watched the bits but i was watch or the clips and i was watching the reunion
and i'm like who the fuck are half of these other people yeah it it's it is like tricky like on
housewives and stuff like the people who have millions of followers for the most part are the people
who have been on the show for a decade and being a brand new.
People don't follow like they used to either.
It's just harder to grow a following because of the way for you pages are and everything
else.
Yeah, it'll be interesting because I remember in like 2017, 2018 when the Bachelor franchise
had really peaked in terms of like social media, attention, conversation.
It was like a dozen girls on a season of The Bachelor would end up with over a million
followers. Like people were just
following them in droves.
They were all becoming influencers.
And that has like significantly dropped off
in more recent seasons. Same with like love
is blind and stuff like that. With Love Island,
I think, I think so far
this season is the biggest
social, it has the most islanders reaching
one million plus followers.
And it's been like three days since it ended.
It's been number one on peacock the whole
summer. I don't think, I don't think
Love Island has like,
it's not like past its prime
yet. Like, obviously this season is huge.
But it is interesting to think about, like,
okay, if this show keeps going in
five years,
will 20 people from the season be getting a million followers?
I kind of doubt it. We'll be dead then.
We'll be dead.
Island time will be over.
Island time will be over, so we'll lifetime.
I've had so much fun talking about this season.
I've had so much fun. Fortunately, we'll be back in six weeks.
What are you? Is there anything?
I mean, it's hard because it's such a long time
from now that, like,
most of the reunion, I would hope, will be, like, catching us up on real life.
Yeah.
But, like, what are you kind of...
Is there anything you're, like, interested in?
Getting to the bottom of?
Getting to the bottom of?
Not really.
No, but, yeah, I'm excited to see the fallout.
Yeah.
It's, I think with Love Island, it's more a thing of, like, I want to know where everyone's
at now on the reunion versus, like, rehashing everything that happened during the season.
Yeah.
Absolutely.
Because it's like, okay, we're going to talk about Casa again.
Yeah, I'm like, there's not, the, the horse is dead and we're beating it.
I guess it depends.
Like, if Zach and Kada are broken up at the reunion, then maybe it will be interesting to talk about Alana leaving Kasa and him not telling her.
But like, if Zach and Kada are just still in their exclusive situation ship, then it's kind of like, okay.
Yeah, I'm excited to see how that pans out.
They're either going to be boyfriend, girlfriend, or varying.
angry at each other.
And I think Melanie and Sincere will either be broken up or...
You know what it'll be?
It'll be like, they'll be fighting and she'll be like, that's why you don't respect me about it.
He's like, oh, really?
That's why you were in my room last night?
And everyone's going to be like, it's going to be something like that.
Yeah, it could be very like...
She's like, well, I haven't seen you in three.
Yeah.
It could be like Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota where it's like, then why'd you fuck me last night?
And everybody's like, guys, come on.
Taylor.
Once upon a time that would have been us talking about The Bachelorette.
We hope she comes back.
Taylor.
Come on, girl.
Come on, girl. Come back.
Yeah.
No, I hope for Melanie's sake that she's single and thriving.
Yeah.
At the reunion.
Otherwise, I'm like, I don't know.
None of these, I mean, Bryce and Trinity great, but like, Parmita and Corbyn.
No, I hate Parmita.
Parmita also, there was, like, a video of her on social media.
being like, yeah, like,
I'm, like, you can trust me
because I've been with rappers.
That was after his son,
right after they got kicked out.
She's like, I've been with rappers,
I've been with ballers,
I've been with businessmen.
Everyone in my city knows who I am.
I'm like, so.
It's like, wait, so are you saying
that you're like good at following an NDA
or are you just saying you're like,
kind of ran through?
That's literally kind of the vibe was like,
I just don't believe anything she says.
Also then in after his son,
she's like, I hate that people keep saying
that we don't like know each other.
Like, I know him.
I know his hobbies, and then Sierra's like, wait, what hobbies does Corbyn have?
And he's like, um.
He's ground beef and rice every day.
She like couldn't think of any and it was a really awkward moment.
He loves listening to house music and running.
His Instagram is a tough watch.
Okay, ladies, I got a new program.
We're going to be running today.
Let's go!
He's like a fitness.
Get ready with me.
Coach.
Well, I get ready to go to Planet Fitness.
The thing is, like, if I'm going to follow.
a hot guy on Instagram.
I don't want them to speak to me about a workout plan.
I want them to stand there and look pretty.
Yeah, maybe they're cooking something.
Maybe they're saying nice things.
That's what I feel like Caleb is doing right is his TikTok is just like sort of dimly lit videos
of him flexing.
I'm like, that's the, yeah.
No one wants production value when you're hot.
But yeah, I feel like bragging about being with like athletes and rappers.
is only really a good strategy if you're going on like bad girls club i was literally going to say
yeah like like no like i'm not like oh damn she's got it like that yeah no i'm gonna take her
serious also which ones she's been with like a like a basketball player who like got caught
from the NBA team yeah exactly plays broad i'm like what's the deal she's it's like a rapper you
never heard of yeah yeah anybody can drop a single anybody it's like
Lil Wayne.
Currently.
She's like, I've been with Weezzy up, baby.
Just this year.
Don't tell Beyonce.
Just this year.
Lemonade.
She's Becky with the good hair.
Yeah, it was poor what's that.
Rachel Roy has been taking the heat all this time for no reason.
Well, we'll be back in September, which is a crazy thing to say.
It's time for school.
Back to school.
Back to the island.
But this has been so fun.
This has been so fun.
Thanks everyone for watching and listening.
and chatting along with us this season.
And until the reunion, that's all.
Aloha.
Betches.
