Mention It All - Can Carole Radziwill Save RHONY? Plus Traitors Finale, RHOP Reunion, Summer House, & More
Episode Date: March 6, 2026The Bravo action never stops, and Dylan is back with major news about the future of RHONY. With Carole Radziwill joining a trio of very intriguing newbies, can the twice-rebooted franchise finally ret...urn to its glory days? Only time will tell. From there, Dylan digs into the Traitors finale and reunion, and a question that’s causing a lot of discourse this week: Should Housewives be banned from Traitors? Dylan also breaks down the conclusion of the Real Housewives of Potomac reunion, and why Monique’s bleeped receipt turned out to be even less relevant than we thought. Also, with Karen’s return and Wendy’s impending legal battle, what will the show look like next season? Later, Dylan turns his attention to Summer House and Southern Charm, where Jesse and Craig are both struggling with self-reflection as their behavior gets called out once again. Hey everyone, welcome back to the Mentioned at All podcast and another Friday episode.
We do have a lot to get into today.
But before we start, want to just shout out our guests line up these days.
We've been doing great with the guests and some really fun episodes coming out.
We had Daisy Keller from Below Deck Down Under and Below Deck sailing yacht earlier this week.
So you can go watch or listen to that now on our YouTube channel, YouTube.com slash at Bravo by Betches, video and audio on Spotify.
audio, wherever you get your podcasts. And next week, we have another fun episode coming up.
I loved this season of the Valley Persian style. I certainly hope we'll be getting a second
season, a little upset that we didn't get a reunion. But hey, we can't have everything.
Why is Vanderpump rules having a two-part reunion? And the Valley Persian style gets zero parts.
Zero. I don't know exactly how these decisions get made. But I do see the decisions being made.
I don't necessarily appreciate them. But anyway, I digress. Next week, we have Golnessa
and Tannen from the Valley Persian style to sort of wrap up the season. I thought it was a
great first season. And I had a lot of fun chatting with both of them. It already, we have had on
Mercedes and Reza earlier in the season. So it was really fun to kind of round out the trifecta
of our Shazzo G's with Glena. But also to talk to someone who's on the show who had a
different experience of not being on Shaws for nine seasons. So look out for that. Make sure you're
subscribed on YouTube, on Spotify, wherever you listen so you don't miss an episode. But today,
we are going to get into a bunch of stuff. We are going to wrap up the seasons of both
the traders and Real Housewives of Potomac. We have reunion topics to get into lots of drama
going on there. We're going to talk a little bit about Summer House. Maybe we'll head to the
sweat lodge with Southern Charm. You never know. We are recording just a little bit early.
this week. I'm going to a wedding. It's that time of year. So we're not going to get into Beverly Hills
today. And then next week, we are going to catch up on some of our new season premieres. So we're
going to talk southern hospitality. We're going to talk ladies of London. We have a lot to dive
into. But first off, we got some interesting news about the Real Housewives of New York City.
They are coming back. Many people thought it would never happen.
many people thought maybe it shouldn't happen, but come hell or high water, side to Silva is going to remain a housewifey.
So a couple of things to get into with this announcement.
So I thought it was interesting the way that Bravo sort of approached this, because earlier this week, it was reported in variety by our friend Kate Arthur, who always has the scoop that Carol was going to be joining Real House of New York.
City as a friend of for their upcoming 16th season. Of course, Carol, an iconic housewife of
the first generation of Roney. And now she is reentering the fold, which is not 100% shocking,
but is a little bit of a surprise. You know, there were rumors in the fall that they were going to
do this hybrid cast of, you know, Derinda Luann, whoever, along with Cy, Aaron Jessel, that
I don't think was ever actually real. But the one piece of that that actually turned out to be
sort of maybe accidentally true is that Carol's coming on. She's rejoining the show. We'll see how
that goes. I'm not excited to see Carol, but I just wish overall I was a little more amped about
this show as a whole because it's like if you put Carol in a friend role on a show that's already a
three out of 10, maybe you get up to a five. That's still an F. Maybe they'll turn. Maybe they'll
turn it around and this season will be great because Carol will be joining joining like I said
Jessel, Cy, Aaron, returning. Not surprising. They were the ones that got the BravoConn invite. Writing was on
the wall. We get it. But there's three new housewives. And I want to talk about a couple of these
women. So the new housewives are Daisy Toy, Erica Hammond, and Haley Glassman. Daisy Toy, I don't
have a lot to say right now. She's a makeup artist. She has most notably worked a lot with Martha
Stuart, can't wait to meet you.
Erica Hammond is a former W.W.E. Diva.
Is that, can I call you diva?
Like, I think that's the technical term.
Like, I think she was with, like, the Bella twin.
I don't know.
That's not my world.
But it's not Erica's world anymore either, because now she is married to this guy,
Ancour Jane, who is the founder of Built.
And that built is like the, the like rewards card that you can pay your rent with and then you get like cash back.
It's a big, it's a big thing.
If you live in New York, everybody's like, I pay my rent with belt.
But they got married.
You might remember this.
You might not even realize that you remember this.
This was like core memory unlocked for me when I read about it.
They got married in 2024 at the pyramids, comma, Egypt.
They had this.
This piece of an article, Rihanna performed at their wedding.
You might have seen this like on TikTok or whatever.
Massive, massive wedding at the pyramids.
I have to, I think this is from Us Weekly.
I cropped it out, but based on the font, I think it's Us Weekly.
I hate that I know that.
This is Encore saying,
my first pitch to Erica for the wedding was to get married in space.
Dot, dot, dot.
Erica said,
I was like, I don't want to die on my wedding day. Their compromise? Having the first wedding
celebration thought to be held in modern times at the base of the great pyramids in Egypt in front
of the sphinx, officiated by the world's foremost Egyptologist, Jane's family friend, Dr. Zahi Hawas.
Quote, we're New Yorkers and there's something so special about being in a completely different
world environment. So we decided our wedding is about having a moment together to celebrate the
new beginning. Having a really special party with your friends, somewhere where you're in a
different world. Adds Hammond, it's a once in a lifetime experience. I mean, yeah, it's a once in a
lifetime experience because it's like fucking crazy. It is so funny to me that two like random rich
people from New York had the first wedding in modern times to be held at the base of the pyramids.
Like, money really can't get you absolutely anything. Like how many?
Is this something, I am, I guess now I haven't thought about this before, I'm curious, like,
would people in Egypt think it's like tacky to get married at the pyramids?
Like, is it like they're not allowed to or it's like, why would I want to get married at the pyramids?
Would that be like me having my wedding ceremony like in Times Square?
And they're like, he's the first person to rent out Times Square.
And it's like, yeah, because that's fucking weird.
I don't, I don't want to say that the pyramids have the same cultural significance as
time square. I'm more just thinking in terms of like a well-known landmark. But yeah, crazy,
crazy wedding. I am like so curious what energy this woman is going to bring to real housewives,
just knowing that she is so rich and thinking about the way that that could drive somebody like a jessel
up the wall. I'm not, not intrigued. But let's talk about the third woman who's joining the show,
because she had an interesting week, let's say.
Haley Glassman, who is the daughter of a plastic surgeon?
I'm like, is that notable?
Like, if I'm getting cast on a show, like, son of a college professional, like, who cares?
But she's the daughter of a plastic surgeon.
I think she, like, works for them or anything.
You can tell she's been partaking in the services, let's just say, the lips on that lady.
I mean, to each their own, to each their own.
a lot of filters also on the Instagram.
I'm noticing just blur, blur, blur, blur, blur, blur.
But anyway, that's not what I'm here to talk about because Haley Glassman got called out in a very specific, interesting way in the wake of her casting by one Claudia Oshry, aka Girl with No Job, aka the Toast.
Now, I am not a toaster.
Never have been, never will be.
Simply could not be me.
I'm sure Claudia's mom has been having a great week, if you know, you know.
But Claudia logged on to TikTok the other day after this announcement.
And she was like, when I saw the news, I was like, why does this name sound familiar?
And she's like, I went to her Instagram.
I clicked on our message history.
And you know, like even like when when someone who you don't follow has sent you messages,
they go to like a requests folder.
And until you like accept the request, they just kind of exist.
in this purgatory.
There's no, like, keyboard for you to respond.
It's just, like, scrolling.
And Claudia is, like, scrolling, scrolling, scrolling, scrolling, scrolling,
through messages of this woman, Haley responding to her stories, to Claudia's stories.
She doesn't follow her.
Claudia has never once opened the message, tap to respond.
This is like an unsolicited flurry of story responses going back years.
like quite a few years of this woman Haley responding to her stories with some regularity
and most of the messages are commenting on Claudia's body.
Specifically, her weight and pointing out when she's lost weight, pointing out when she's gained weight,
pointing out at one point that she's pregnant and she looks skinnier than she used to,
saying that she should tell everyone that she's on Ozmpic,
which I think at one point Claudia has been open about.
And then peppered in,
because of course,
every social media troll is actually a fan on some level.
Peppered in is like her responding to a story being like,
congrats so amazing.
Scroll up,
the next reply is like,
skinny, mini,
you're looking better.
This type of behavior,
it's not surprising to find out
that Claudia has received messages like this because she's a woman existing on the internet
with a lot of followers and people frankly can't fucking shut up about women's bodies ever.
But the idea that this woman has been cast on Real Housewives.
And the first taste that we are getting of her persona, let's say, or how she behaves behind
closed doors when you think nobody's watching is being a years-long social media troll.
of a woman that you don't know who doesn't follow you,
who's never once given you a crumb of attention.
Weirdo behavior.
And Claudia said in her video,
and I think this is a good comparison,
it's kind of given like Monica Reality Vante's energy
of like, who is this woman who's like behind this keyboard,
click clacking about my weight for five years?
Get a life.
Get a fucking life.
And what I'm really interested to see, if any, I haven't seen any follow-up to this.
I was looking at Haley's Instagram.
It doesn't seem like she has acknowledged this.
She's reposted a bunch of, you know, people's stories about congratulating her, whatever.
She's clearly is seeing this, I'm sure.
Has Haley Glassman been doing this to other people?
Or does she have a specific obsession with Claudia Oshry that goes back years?
Or is this a behavior that is normal for her?
Because if there are, if there are a bunch of people,
who have received messages like this from her going back years.
I have a feeling we're going to find out,
and it's going to be a really strange situation for her.
I can't decide whether information like that makes me more or less excited to see somebody on Housewives,
because I guess I'm, as somebody who, you know, Marie Kondo, I love mess, like, that seems
like it could be a potential source of mess, which could be potentially good to.
TV, but also I would like the Real Housewives of New York to feel like some sort of a
functioning group of, if not friends, at least people who can have fun hanging out together.
And I do wonder right off the bat, like if Aaron Leachie or Jessel are seeing Claudia
Oshery posting about this woman that they're likely kind of just meeting and starting to get
know, I would at least have questions. I don't know that I would want that person to be in my inner
circle. So, I mean, Roney is a big wait and see. I think they're going to begin filming this week.
We're expecting it to be back probably in the fall later this year. So, you know, TBD. But I was,
I was interested how much convo there was about these new women. And obviously with Carol coming back,
that's a big variable. Also, a lot of people, you know, bringing up that Carol has a,
some kind of relationship with Gilein Maxwell in the past. And obviously, all of that has been
very present in the conversation in recent weeks and months and wondering whether anyone on the
cast will bring this up to Carol on camera. That I'm, I'm curious about. I don't know exactly,
you know, how that would go or if that would be a productive conversation. But we'll
Lots of questions.

Let's talk about traders.
Traders, we have closed the book on season.
for the finale and reunion dropped last Thursday night. God, they really, they really kill us with how
they put out like two hours of content at 9 p.m. on a Thursday. I need to go to bed. I want to be
asleep. I don't want to stay up till midnight watching traders. I mean, like, I want to when I want to,
but I don't want to because it feels like I have to or else everything's going to be spoiled online.
Thankfully, I don't really think the trader's reunion is something that can be spoiled. I think we knew
we knew some of the threads we were going to get going into this reunion. We knew Candice was probably
going to come in hot and be, you know, out for blood with Rob. She kind of was. We knew Michael Rappaport
was going to be fucking annoying. Spoiler alert, he was. You know, the reunion finale combo for
traders, I feel like is always a little bit of a mixed bag. Traders, I think the one, I enjoy watching
it so much. I think the one thing that the game element of
it struggles with a little bit, I mean, other than Mora being, you know, respectfully one of the
dumbest faithfuls to play the game, Johnny and Tara told her that it was Eric and Rob, she didn't
believe them. It got to the final three. She voted for Eric. You know, it's, it's tough to come back
from that. But I think on a, on a more macro level, it seems like every season, a lot of the players that are
the most fun to watch. The biggest personalities, the people who are who are kind of like
giving us the most to gag over are going to get eliminated kind of midway through the game.
This season, obviously, we had Lisa and Candice go out in back-to-back episodes. Dorinda went out
shortly after that. You know, I'm not a big fan of Colton Underwood, but he was, you know,
contributing a lot to the season. He got sent home midway through, you know, Natalie, Jam, Jam. You know,
Lots of people that had sort of been giving us moments didn't make it to the end.
And obviously, if you're playing the game and you're trying to figure out who the traitors are,
it makes sense that people who are, you know, giving a lot aren't necessarily going to stay around until the end.
But from a TV standpoint, it is sometimes a little bit underwhelming at the end when it's like,
did anybody really need Eric to make it to the final three?
I mean, it seems like a nice guy.
I still don't know anything.
Whatever.
But the reunion, I think the reunions are just a little bit, I don't want to say they're unnecessary
because I like the idea that we're getting everyone back together.
This is a massive show.
It's a big hit.
It feels like worthwhile to get everyone back together.
I love seeing the glam.
You know, it's fun.
I love that they beamed Johnny and Tara in from the Olympics.
And Johnny was like, we're here in Milan, no.
And the competition is fierce, but I have to say, being in that castle,
was even fiercer. It's like, sure. Hell yeah. But I think there's a little bit of a disconnect
in terms of both the energy that people are bringing to the reunion and also what we are and
aren't discussing at the reunion. There was a lot of conversation about, you know, Ron and
Dorenda and some of the things that had come up in interviews or on social media about,
something that Dorinda had done to Ron that he that was really negative and was that going to come up at
the reunion it really didn't um you know talking about some of the the Colton stuff rina had really been
teasing out in her book promo and stuff what she had asked Colton at the reunion about um taking her
hostage and whatever and she it was like in all of her press and I I know that she was like you know
DMing people about this too like this is what I said and they're probably going to
it because, you know, it was, it was an inflammatory moment and they, they didn't cut it. It aired.
It was like not that crazy. Candice, I think, you know, I love Candice. I think she's great TV.
I love the energy that she brings to a reunion. But I think even for her, a trader's reunion is not
the exact same assignment as a housewives reunion. And I think, you know, for somebody in her
position. I get why she was annoyed with Rob at the way that things went down. But at the end of the day,
like, it's a game. And I think that anyone who goes on traders and is like overly upset and lashing
out and wanting payback and whatever for the way that the game plays out, you're always going to
come off a little bit like a sore loser and a little bit like somebody who just, you know,
didn't get what they wanted and now was making it other people's problems. And so I,
I, I wish that Candice had just been able to let things roll off her back a little bit more
in this game. But that brings me to an interesting discourse that's been happening this week.
Um, there was a, an article in Vulture earlier this week from Joe Reed about saying, uh,
it was a hot take saying that they should ban housewives from traders for one to two years. And I've
seen, I've seen other people saying this online that, you know, Housewives are ruining traders
and, you know, they're, they're turning traitors into something that it isn't supposed to be.
And the way that they play the game is not fun to watch and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah,
blah.
And I think that this is like a little bit silly.
Because I think that the same way we, you know, sometimes lump people together too much when it comes to,
You know, these people are villains, these people are gamers.
I don't think that all housewives bring the same things to the game, both in a good way and a bad way.
I think that there are, you know, for somebody like Candice, the fact that she maybe wasn't able to take things lightly in certain instances made this season a little bit less fun.
But at the same time, I think that there are other ways in which she brought a lot of great moments and excitement to the game that maybe, you know, if you brought like the fourth person kicked out of the second season of Big Brother who is super iconic to the Big Brother fan community, I'm going to watch the show and be like, who the fuck is this and why are they being forced in my face?
the whole thing with traders is that you're bringing together people from all over the reality TV
and like pop culture map. And so to say that any one group of those people should be banned
from the game, I think is a little dumb. But also, I think you can't deny that part of the reason
traders initially became and has continued to be such a cultural mainstay is because you really
have the Bravo audience locked in from the beginning every single season. You know, going, going back to
um, going back to the past seasons. Think about Fadra. Think about MJ. Um, think about Kate Chastain.
Think about all of the, the, the Bravo liberties, Sierra and Dolores last season. We've had so many.
And obviously not all of them are, you know, performing up to the same level. But I just think like
banning housewives. What I would suggest maybe is like,
Maybe we don't need four to five housewives on every season.
I'm okay with that.
I think that it would be great to spread the love a little bit more.
I just saw a post this morning of somebody being like,
why haven't we had Jersey Shore people on traders?
I think that there is room to spread the love.
And I think that the wider net that we cast,
the more potential there is for great moments,
for more seasons, for different dynamics.
I've long been a proponent of get some of the dance moms on there.
I want to see, you know, Kelly Highland yelling at somebody at the roundtable.
I think that the housewives are additive to traders,
but I don't think that the housewives are the only people that are iconic on traders.
So I would say maybe next season, if we're looking at casting,
maybe we aim for like one to two really solid housewives and cast the net a little wider.
also think that maybe we think about which housewives are we bringing to the show. To be honest,
like this band Housewives thing, I'm like, this season would have been fucking boring without
Lisa Rina. I don't think that Lisa was creating problems enough to where it's like, wow,
this game would have been better if she wasn't in it. I think the opposite, babes. Like,
just because you don't watch Housewives doesn't mean, like, I don't watch, what show was somebody
else from. Like, I didn't watch Mora Higgins on Love Island, UK. I think she was fun until
the end. I got a little annoyed. But like, I think that acting like one specific group of people is
like putting this show off the rails is just a little dumb. But let's spread the love. I'm down for that.
But Trader's season four, it was fun. I'm excited for it to come back. I'm really interested to see
how the, um, the civilian season on NBC is going to go. I'm a little annoyed that they're still
seemingly just casting for that. I'm like, can we not?
speed this up and get it into production. I would like the show to come out kind of soon.
And I feel like it's not going to. I don't know. I'm not in charge of the calendar. If I were,
some things would be different. Okay, let's talk about Potomac. Three-part reunion, done and
Dusted, season 10 in the history books, a good season. A good season overall. I think the
reunion was a pretty solid reunion. I think that there were
certain things that were a little frustrating to me. And I also feel that because, because there
were so many moving pieces with this reunion, it was a little tough to pin down. What's the big focus?
What are we trying to work through? Where is this show going from here? Because think about it.
You have all of the full-time women this season. Wendy has a major, you know, life thing that she's
going through that we addressed a couple different times.
they brought Jazzy onto the stage for part of the reunion.
They brought Monique on stage for part of the reunion.
There was a whole thing with Monique that we'll talk about that was, you know, dramatic and now has
turned out to be seemingly a complete nothing burger.
And then, of course, in part three, they, you know, say, Andy tells Jazzy the way that he said,
okay, Jazzy, you can giddy on up out of here.
It's like, damn, doing it to, like, whip her as she goes.
Jazzy leaves, Monique stays, we shift the couches, and Karen comes on, and then it's, you know, the Karen show for a little bit, and then Karen has to talk to Wendy and, you know, Monique has to talk to Karen. There's a lot of boxes that we're trying to check with this reunion. And I think naturally, there's only so much you can do. And I think the first two parts were pretty exciting, so I don't want to, like, harp on it. But just for example, like, the Colorado trip was essentially,
three minutes of this reunion and watching the season. I mean, the Colorado trip was a high point
in so many ways. I mean, a low point maybe for the women who were on the trip. But from a viewer
perspective, like, I wanted to hear so much more about that trip. I wanted to get behind the scenes.
I wanted to get the nitty gritty. And it almost felt like Angel, maybe we had already like
gone hard enough on Angel for other stuff that it was like, yeah, we'll kind of just like glide over
this. Angel for her part saying that she doesn't deserve the flack for the trip because she's
taken accountability. I'm like, I don't know. Like, this is housewives. We can give you a little more
flack. Like, we can, we can continue the flack until next season. Kiarna, of course, is the only one
who says that Jazeel overstepped in taking over the trip. It's like, yeah, I'm sure. Just
all being like, you don't know because you weren't staying with us with no water. She's not wrong.
But I want to talk about this whole thing with Monique and Stacey.
Because this third part of the reunion begins with Monique saying that she has this, you know,
smoking gun evidence that Stacey was talking to Chris during the season.
And specifically, she has this video evidence or audio evidence of someone.
We don't know who.
The name is bleeped saying that.
Stacey told Chris Samuels that Monique was filming for Real Housewives of Potomac with their kids.
And the reason that this is an issue is because if their custody situation or their divorce agreement or whatever
stated that Monique was not allowed to bring the kids onto the show, if she was in violation of that,
and if Chris found out that she was in violation of that, it could cause major problems for Monique in her custody situation.
this has come up on other shows before.
I remember, you know, the, the first season that Sutton was on Beverly Hills last
minute, her husband decided the kids couldn't be on the show.
That was why Sutton was a friend of and not a housewife for first season.
This could cause major, I mean, also not just problems of like, can Monique be on the show?
It's like, can Monique spend time with her kids?
That's the kind of thing that could be at stake here.
And Stacey knows it.
And she is very upset with this allegation and says, why would I do that to you?
There is no reason that I would do that to you.
Even if she was talking to Chris, even if she was dating Chris, why would she do that to
Monique?
And Monique is like, yeah, that's what I'm saying.
Why would you do that to me?
And this is a, it's a frustrating exchange to watch because when Monique plays this audio,
the entire thing is bleeped out.
I guess because we aren't supposed to hear the person's voice because we're,
We're clearly talking about the contents of the recording, but it just is not a, it's not a great TV moment.
And to compare to last season, when I think there was a really excellent TV moment at the Potomac reunion that transpired in real time with the TJ situation and bring Eddie out and playing a recording and Stacey sang, but still I rise, like that was, that was epic.
Has anyone seen the movie Network?
Like, that was on the level, as Bethany would say.
This just, it didn't quite land, and it felt like something was weird.
And I thought that Monique was pretty great on this season of Potomac.
But something about this specific thing with Stacey just, like, felt strange.
And it turns out Monique was wrong the whole time because after this episode aired,
Monique posted on, I saw this on threads.
I don't know if she posted other places.
But she said a lot of time, a lot of time has passed since the reunion was filmed.
And after gaining more info since then, I don't believe Stacey had anything to do with any of that bullshit.
I'll probably go live on IG at some point this week and give you all the entire story.
I haven't watched the reunion episodes yet.
So let me catch up and get back to you.
But I at least wanted to clear her name on all of it.
like what are we doing here? I mean, obviously, sometimes you find out new information that
changes your perspective or whatever. I'm not saying it's like so crazy that Monique thought something
that turned out not to be true. But it's frustrating because watching the reunion, it feels like
everyone is mostly taking the side of Monique and taking what she's saying and what is in this
recording, this bleeped recording at face value. And
now essentially that whole thing has been deemed null and void because after the episode airs
Monique is just like, oh wait, sorry, my bad, never mind. Also, she says a lot of time has passed
since the reunion was filmed. It's been like a month, six weeks. It's not like this was two years
ago. I just think it's, it's always a mixed bag when someone pins their reunion strategy on a receipt.
a recording, a video, a screenshot.
It can be really pivotal and really, you know,
great for TV or whatever, but so much of the time it's not.
And already this moment was frustrating with the way they had to bleep out that clip.
And then it turned out to be fucking made up.
I'd really like to know who was speaking there.
I don't know.
Is it Cookie?
No, because we talk about Cookie.
They don't bleep out Cookie's name.
I don't know, but let's talk about Karen's, Karen's big arrival.
I do think, you know, Stacey, that makes her look a lot better.
Well, let's be very clear, as Karen would say.
Karen shows up to the stage.
She looks great.
I love the ponytail.
She's just looking, looking right.
Karen asking Stacey if she lied again this season, I just like, Karen's energy is so fun to have back.
Andy follows up on some of the questions about
her recovery and specifically about whether she
is identifying as an alcoholic which she kind of is like no
but she says she's living in complete sobriety and lifetime recovery
I'm like at a certain point like that's good enough for me
I saw people online speculating about like if Karen was like on
something at the reunion like taking a Xanax or whatever
But I'm like, I think that's a little, I think it's a weird thing to speculate about when someone
is literally showing up and saying I'm, I'm completely sober and I'm in lifetime recovery.
It's like, I just, I don't know.
I think I'm willing to sort of just like take that for what it is and keep it moving.
She admits to what Ashley had brought up about her like getting drunk at them all or whatever.
but she still has a little bit of a bone to pick with Wendy
about her saying that she gets drunk at a restaurant every day
and Wendy is still upset about Karen, you know,
not thanking her the prior reunion.
And Karen says that she felt betrayed last season
when Wendy went over to Stacey to talk about her negatively
at some event, we get a flashback.
But then we get unseen footage from season nine,
the last season of a sit down that Karen and Wendy had.
And I just am like, why weren't we shown this during season nine?
It feels relevant.
It still feels relevant.
It's crazy to me sometimes the things that they are cutting from these shows
that would have cleared up a lot of the issues at last year's reunion.
So it's unseen footage of Karen saying that Wendy should be defending her
because Karen defended Wendy's mom when people were calling her a witch.
And so she expected more from Wendy basically in return for that.
And Wendy, of course, is very upset of Karen even invoking or mentioning this whole thing with her mom.
You know, the witch word is like very inflammatory and very offensive to her.
and Karen at this reunion says she adores Wendy's mother and that she particularly loved this season when she told Wendy to shut the fuck up.
Like this feels like actually a bit of the crux of an issue between them, at least part of it.
And we've spent a whole year being like, hmm, what did go wrong between them?
Why aren't we being shown this footage?
Sometimes I wonder what these editors are like picking and choosing.
there will be an explosive moment in a season trailer
that then we never see in the season
or things will be teased and then they just get dropped
from the edit.
It's really confusing.
I mean, I can see how like in real time
when you're putting together an episode,
maybe you feel like something doesn't fit,
but then when it's a year plus later
and it feels like there is still a missing piece,
I'm sorry, you have made an error in judgment in the edit
because it's weird to watch it and be like, oh, we could have known that from the jump,
but instead now it's being flashed to in the reunion from a completely prior season.
I don't know.
But it's nice to have Karen back.
But then we get into talking more about Wendy.
You know, Karen is really critical of how much Wendy has said about her case that day.
She says she's begging her to stop talking and doing interviews, et cetera.
and Wendy is very adamant that she's talked to her lawyers.
Everything that she has said at the reunion is already in the public record.
So it's not going to, you know, come back to bite her.
She's letting things play out.
She says certain things that have been, you know, stated publicly were incorrect and have already been, you know, corrected in the legal proceedings.
Whatever.
I did think it was interesting that Giselle and Kearna are disagreeing on whether they feel like Wendy knew kind of what was.
coming for her while they were filming season 10.
Kiara, I think Kiyana just wants like a little bit of a moment here because she's like,
I don't know.
I think Wendy knew.
I think she knew.
And just I was like, I don't think she knew because literally we were like filming the whole
season and she was acting normal.
Wendy had a great season.
Wendy was not behaving this season like somebody who was trying to like cover up legal
tracks.
If anything, I would say kind of the opposite.
She was showing off her new kitchen.
showing off her new, you know, she was living the life.
It was nice, though.
You know, Andy ends saying some nice things about Wendy and, you know, why it was so surprising.
And, you know, Wendy cries and says that Andy gives the best hugs.
And Karen and Wendy do have a nice moment at the very end where Karen tells her that there's
another side and she's wishing her the best and she prays that her liberties are never taken away.
It's just, I think the end of this reunion sort of drove home how unfortunate of a situation this is that when
the allegations and stuff first came out, it was easy to sort of be like, you know, mumbling and cackling
about like, oh, you know, the credit cards, the necklace, how stupid could you be?
Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
And like, still that I, yeah, but also like thinking about her kids, thinking about the family,
thinking about like the way, the ripple effect that this has throughout many people's lives.
Tough stuff.
I do, I feel like Wendy's going to be back next season though.
Because watching it, I'm like, unless she's, unless she's like unavailable, let's say,
I'd like to know what happens next.
And the way that, you know, Andy and the network seem to be treating her, it's a little,
it's like innocent until proven guilty in here, I think.
You know, like, I don't know.
I mean, I kind of feel like they could just like press play with this.
cast tomorrow on the cameras with Karen back and, you know, well, Angel, that's a tough one.
I don't know about Angel.
Angel, Kiarna.
Jazzy, does Jazzy have another season in her?
I don't know.
I think Monique will be back.
I would like that.
But the interesting thing, the question that has come up in the last few days, is about
Giselle, because Giselle does not have a clip package at this reunion.
And I think that people would not have noticed this.
much if the women didn't notice it because Andy's like, okay, well, thanks ladies, great reunion.
And I think it's Kihanah.
It's like, oh, Jazeel doesn't get a package.
Oh, what?
And Jazeel's like, okay, well, I will then update you on what's going on in my life.
I am dating.
My daughters are doing great.
I'm doing great and all of this.
And, you know, if you're not going to show the package, then I will just let you know.
And there was a lot of conversation that I saw on social media of like, oh,
Jiselle doesn't have a clip package.
She doesn't have anything going on and everybody knows it.
And like,
Giselle, your days are numbered and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
And like, I just like don't think that's true.
Because I think that the idea that her not having like a dedicated segment in the reunion
implies that she is less important to the cast or less, you know, crucial to the show,
I don't think that's accurate.
And I think that Jazeel is, if anything,
like so foundational to the structure of this show that her role is kind of bigger than any one
individual storyline. And obviously if you're a, if you're a Giselle hater, that's a valid
opinion and you're probably not going to agree with me. But I feel like not every housewife,
every season needs to have the same amount of stuff going on in their life for us to talk about. And I think
probably also some of the people complaining about Joselle are the same people that would not want to
see a like quote unquote, you know, fake storyline or whatever. Like it's, it's a give and take.
It's an ebb and flow. And when you've been on a show for 10 seasons, like I think that
it can look like a lot of different things. And so I think Jazeel will be back. I don't think
she's going anywhere. And I think we don't need to read that much into who does and doesn't have
a clip package. This episode is brought to you by Redfin.

Summer House. We started this medieval party that we were setting up for last week. Sierra is dressed as a
play grat, sure. Why not? But we are, we're still picking up the pieces from what went down with
West and Jesse last week, namely Jesse asking West for permission to make out with Sierra,
and not asking Sierra for the same permission to make out with Sierra, which is a little bit
of a strange choice. And I think everybody agrees. So we start the episode, West is kind of downloading
Lindsay on what went on. West, this did make
me laugh. West tells Lindsay that he thinks Sierra would laugh in Jesse's face if he wanted to make out
with her. Maybe a little bit of wishful thinking on West's part, but, you know, I also get it. And Lindsay is like,
hmm, is it my place to say something to Sierra? And I love, I love Lindsay Hubbard so much because
it's like, of course it's your place. You built this house with your own two hands. You're only here
every other weekend. We got to make the most of it. So Lindsay like immediately carries this bone.
over to Sierra and, you know, tells her that Jesse said this and that West brought it up.
And Sierra is frustrated with both of the boys, which is nothing new.
But she's obviously, you know, upset that Jesse is asking someone else for, you know,
consent essentially to make out with her.
That's weird.
But she also is annoyed with West for acting like he doesn't care.
Because West has this, you know, vibe where he's like, I mean, it was weird to me, but also like,
whatever like I don't not like I'm like upset about it and not like my feelings are hurt and it's and Sierra is like
Sierra has this feeling which I think is totally valid and I I think hearing her express this is
is really interesting of like she feels like people in the house or guys or whatever see her as this
sort of like objective desire and this kind of like potential conquest
and that she's not someone to be taken seriously in the context of like a potential romantic situation
that when she talks to Jesse later in the episode,
she's like, if you actually wanted to like explore a real thing with me,
you should be asking,
you should be asking West if he would be cool with you,
like asking me on a date or like exploring that,
not just like can I get drunk and make out with her if it happens do I have the green light?
And I think that this is something where when you're in a situation like Summerhouse where the whole kind of like experiences is kind of framed around like, oh, we we have parties and we go out and we get drunk and maybe people hook up.
It's like I get why I get why Jesse's mind is like, oh, maybe something will happen and we'll make out.
but it's like you're on year three of having this like flirtation ship with this, you know,
stunning perfect woman.
If you are actually interested in her, then like you need to step it the fuck up.
And I mean, same goes for West.
And I think maybe we'll see a little bit more of that later in the season.
But like to me, Jesse is so frustrating to watch because it's like, I don't actually think he has any real.
interest in like giving sierra what she wants or needs or deserves i think he truly is like
look in his lips like maybe maybe something will happen and i'll get to
something will get pop in and it's like enough it's been three years we just watched this with
lexie last season and like it's just it's frustrating because i think everybody watching this show
is like so pro sierra and it just seems like
Sierra, for whatever reason, struggles with, I mean, probably because she's like a hot woman
and people don't, you know, respect hot women enough. But it's like, she's, she's a prize to be won.
She's not like a, and not like a, you know, you're at the front of Chuckie Cheese and there's
like a little thing in a claw machine. Like, she's like the big, she's the big prize.
And I don't think people are treating her as such.
It was tough to watch, though, when, when West and Jesse are like jousting in the middle of that party
and Sierra is getting so emotional.
And, you know, she has a good moment of connection with Mia.
And that was nice to see.
And I think that's a good segue because I want to shout out our newbies so far on Summerhouse
because there's six of them.
And I feel like across the board, they are doing a really good job so far of starting to
feel like they are a part of the fabric of the house.
and they're not necessarily being forced to carry like major storyline yet,
but they're starting to have more of individual personalities,
more of individual connections.
I thought it was fun to watch KJ and Dara this week have their little date in the city.
You know, after they had like a funny kind of like reconnection because KJ was like,
oh, like, nice to meet you.
Like, what's up?
And she's like, oh, like I'm like on the show.
show. Like I was at the singles thing in the city last room. He's like, oh, I didn't recognize you with
like, I don't know, like your hair is different or something. It was just like a funny, like,
it felt like a funny, like real moment. And then they had a nice connection. They were talking about,
you know, going to the movies alone, which really speaks to me. But I think that was like a fun,
a fun little dynamic to watch. We see Carl hanging out with Ben at Softbar, which is like still under
construction. Carl dropping the tidbit that he is a little upset that Kyle didn't invest in
softbar. Interesting. He says that back in the day when Lover Boy was getting going, he invested
$15,000. Hey, big spender. But at the time, that was a lot of money. Like they, you know,
they weren't getting these, you know, season 10 paychecks yet. And so he was hoping that when he had
his big business that he was working on, that Kyle would see fit to sort of like, you know,
even the score a little bit. But Kyle said it wasn't a good time. And I mean, based on what
Kyle has told us about lover boy, it seems like it probably wasn't a good time. You know, he says
that he stopped taking a salary and that, you know, part of the reason he got into DJing was so
he could, you know, actually make money from traveling to these events and stuff. What I would love to know is
Carl invested 15K in Loverboy.
Was Carl hoping, expecting, you know, asking for a similar size,
a.k.a. kind of small investment? Or was Kyle like, or was Carl like, hey, Kyle, can you give me
$200,000? Because I could, I could see it being either or. I don't know. I would be interested in
what that conversation was, what type of amount they were discussing.
And if Carl was expecting something larger and Kyle was like, hey man, now's not a good time for like a big donation or not donation investment.
But like, you know, could there have been something worked out?
Was Carl's expectation realistic?
I don't know.
But it was interesting to find out.
But I liked that he was having that conversation with Ben because it feels like Ben is, you know, starting to get a little more ingrained in the group.
Bailey and Levi still seem like a lot of fun.
They do their prank in the Ivy costumes this week.
They were scaring everyone.
Sierra's iPad went flying.
My life flashed before my eyes.
Just like a good, a good vibe so far.
I feel like everyone in that new crew is pulling their weight.
And their weight right now is still a little bit lighter, which is okay.
But I think that this is setting the stage well for hopefully later this season,
maybe into next season, if some of our, you know, OGs and vets are starting to,
move on to, you know, in the city or pastures. I am feeling positive about the direction that this
is heading. And when, when I heard that there were going to be six new people on Summerhouse this
season, I was a little skeptical because we've seen this, we've seen this movie before and we don't
always like the ending of, we're like soft launching, we're doing a little new era. It's going to be new
people. Like it is not an easy thing to do. And so, you know, hats off to casting in production and
our six newbies who are doing a good job so far. But the episode ends with with Sierra and
Kyle, Sierra and Jesse talking to each other. And yeah, I don't feel great about how that
conversation went. Just because I think Jesse is like, I don't really, I don't really trust that
he is actually going to understand the air of his ways. And like,
make a meaningful change.
Because it seems like over the last few seasons now, we've sort of just like
come to understand like how he operates in situations like this.
And I think that for him to really shift that would require like a little more,
a little more like soul searching, a little more introspection.
And, you know, much like Craig over in Mexico on Southern Charm,
I don't know that the introspection is really taking place.
my god that episode of Southern Charm
the sweat lodge that looked intense
they came out they were like I'm blacking out I'm blacking out
cold water they're rubbing ice cubes on themselves
that looked intense
I thought it was interesting that Craig didn't last very long in the sweat lodge
he just doesn't
Craig doesn't seem very
bought into what's going on with the group right now
it feels like he you know he was coming off the breakup with page this season
and he clearly had his sights set on Charlie.
And other than that, it was kind of like, who cares about everybody else?
And after the display in the van last week where Craig was yelling at Sally and calling her stupid over and over and over again, Charlie is out.
Charlie is telling us multiple times this season that the ship has sailed in terms of a romantic connection with her and Craig.
she has not quite had that conversation with Craig yet.
But I, I, it made me happy to see Charlie kind of like choosing herself because I think it would be easy for, and maybe earlier in the season this was happening a little bit, but it would be easy for somebody in her position to say, hey, I'm the new person here.
Craig is the OG here.
I have an opportunity to really, you know, use this positioning and use his, you know, interest in me to sort of secure.
my spot for next season and beyond maybe. Fuck Sally. Who cares? I'm going to ride this wagon
until the wheels fall off. But it really felt like Charlie was like a little alarmed and
kind of figured out on this trip to Mexico that whatever's going on with Craig isn't actually
something she wants to be involved in. And that maybe this friendship with Sally is more important.
I don't know how real that friendship is.
I'm very curious to see kind of where things stand at the reunion for Southern Charm this year.
But, man, just like, Greg is kind of the worst right now.
Shep is knocking on his door to go fishing and he's not even answering.
You know, he's talking to Whitney and he's like, I don't know, I fucked up once in two years.
What do people want me to be perfect?
It's like, what are you talking about?
Once in two years.
this season was filmed in like four months and there's been many a fuck up from my POV.
Whitney's suggesting that Craig owes Sally an apology, which I think like literally anyone
could see. And Craig is like, uh, I just feel like Sally's always involved.
Without her there, my relationship with Charlie would be so much further along.
It's just, it's, it's, it's hard to watch somebody who is,
objectively, you know, successful, good-looking, you know, popular, has been on this platform,
has so many opportunities, just like completely whiff the ball on any kind of self-awareness.
And it feels like that's kind of the story of the season.
Next week, season finale, Southern Charm.
It snuck up on me.
I didn't realize I guess we're ending the season in Mexico.
But that's where we're ending the episode, too.
