Mention It All - Chin Checks, Cherries, & Charges (RHOSLC, RHOP, RHOC)
Episode Date: October 24, 2025Back from vacation, Dylan can hardly wait to dig into the biggest story of the last two weeks: Dr. Wendy’s fraud charges. He unpacks his reaction to the news, and shares the latest updates on Wendy...s strategy to avoid taking the fall. From there, he catches up on all the current Housewives shows, starting with the great Chin Check debacle in Potomac. Keiarna may not be memorable, but is she low-key having a good season? From there, Dylan digs into the drama on RHOSLC, where Whitney’s hilling journey/wine tasting/psychic reading event delivered epic drama. He also weighs in on Todd’s scenes with Bronwyn, and whether Britani is being sincere with her daughter. Later, he gets into some thoughts on the RHOC trip to Amsterdam, including those posts that Gretchen allegedly liked, and shares what’s All The Rage, presented by Angry Orchard Hard Cider. Betches Media presents.
Ha ha, laugh, funny.
Mention It All, a Bravo by Betches podcast.
We don't say that, but now we said it.
With me, Dylan Hafer.
We're going to check, me, though.
Hey, everyone.
Welcome back to the Mentioned All podcast.
Oh, boy, I am so glad to be finally back recording.
It has been a couple weeks, and safe to say, some stuff has happened since the last time I sat down in front of the microphone, so I can't wait to get into all of it today.
we've got Salt Lake to catch up on, we've got Potomac to catch up on, we've got OC to catch up on,
and you may have heard, you may have heard, if you're listening to this now,
you may have heard that something happened with Dr. Wendy.
And we have to talk about it because you guys, I was on vacation last week.
Thank you so much for hanging in there, you know, with our episodes.
The timing, you know, we make plans and God,
laughs, as someone once said, and you know what was so crazy?
I left town Thursday night, October 9th, and guess what also happened on
October 9th, then became public information on October 10th, Dr. Wendy and Adia Cepho
being charged with fraud.
Now, I didn't have a crystal ball, so I didn't know this was going to happen.
So not only had I recorded my episode for Friday, October 10th, without this knowledge,
But we had also recorded a lovely interview with one Ashley Darby, who may have had some
interesting comments on this news.
That was recorded before Wendy's arrest.
And then for last Friday's episode, I had been like, what can I record in advance before I go
out on this trip?
Oh, perfect.
I have a hot and fresh screener for Wendy's episode of Wifewspop, which then was pulled from
the schedule and is now not airing for like two more weeks.
So thank you guys. Thank you for hanging in there. I hope you enjoyed the content that you did get.
Mary Cosby was on the show earlier this week. That was truly one of my favorite episodes.
I've talked about her being somebody that I wanted to have on the show. And I'm so glad it finally happened. And I've seen really great feedback from some of you guys.
So if you haven't listened to that yet or watched it, you can watch it on YouTube at Bravo by Betches.
But safe to say, we are finally back to our normal schedule. So I am so thrilled.
to be able to talk about lots of stuff today,
lots of stuff that is actually happening
out in the world and on our TV screens
and on your peacock apps and everything.
But let's, before we get too deep,
I mean, you guys, Dr. Wendy?
What the fuck?
Seeing this news, I mean, truly,
out of all of the housewife legal situations that have happened,
just like, just,
True dummy behavior.
I mean, like, what are we doing?
What are we?
This is a woman with how many degrees?
Four.
Count them.
Four degrees.
Married to an attorney, a lawyer of the law.
And they are getting charged with accused of, you know, this is America, innocent until proven guilty.
Of course, so they're being accused of.
some of the dumbest shit
I have ever heard of.
This, I'm not going to get into all the details.
It's been like two weeks.
I'm sure that if you give,
if you care about this at all,
you have read an article,
you've listened to somebody else's podcast.
I'm sure that you know.
But like, the emails,
the wearing the ring,
filing the same claim with multiple places,
like truly like,
what Jen,
Shah did was sinister. What Teresa did was, like, dumb in the way that you would kind of expect from
her. But this is just, like, true, like, bird-brained, hubris. You think that, what are you
thinking? Just, like, pure moron behavior, allegedly. And, like, what are we doing? What are we doing?
It's crazy.
And just as of this week, the update that I will give that's slightly more topical than just what are we doing here is that Wendy is now requesting that all of her charges be dropped, classic.
But not because she didn't do it, though I'm sure she has her own thoughts about that too, but because she's saying that the way some of the information was obtained and the way that the arrest was carried out are illegal.
Now, I am for sure in favor of, you know, protocols being followed and, you know, tactics being, I mean, I don't know.
It's like, okay, sure. Yeah, like, if the email that was screenshot of you doing the bad thing was obtained illegally, somebody should get a slap on the wrist, but that still really seems like you did it.
So also just like if the legal strategy is to say, oh, I have a dispute with how this procedure was carried out, that's probably not a good sign for your actual guilt or innocence.
It's like, I mean, they got me on a technicality. It's like, oh, okay, whatever. She also, I think, is now requesting that her and Eddie's cases basically be separated. So people are speculating that perhaps Eddie will be more.
the one that's being positioned to kind of take the fall for this. I don't know if that's really
happening. I don't know exactly how that works. I am not an expert on Maryland legal procedures.
One funny side effect of this has been, I think people re-remembering truly how far away
Wendy lives from everybody else on the cast of Potomac. Because there's like an account on
Twitter sometimes that will post those maps where it's like everybody's head on the map,
but I've been seeing them for different cities. But like, if you're looking at a map of the DMV area,
you have to zoom out to even show the part of Maryland that Wendy lives in. Like, she is closer
to Pennsylvania than she is to Potomac. Just wild that these women are driving that far to film
at her house. Potomac has been, it's been entertaining these last couple weeks. There has been
a hot new catchphrase has entered the villa.
of Potomac, and that is Chinchek.
We have now entered this, oh, this discourse between Kiyarna and Angel, who I swear,
I mean, Angel, we literally hadn't met three weeks ago, and Kiyana, I still have to remind
myself is a full-time housewife on this show for multiple seasons now.
Like, Kiyarna is somebody, I really don't mean to be rude.
But Kiarna is somebody to me where I'm like, she just like won't quite.
stick in my brain.
I know this isn't like a good thing, but sometimes when you've met somebody like five times
before and it always takes you like a little longer than it should to be like, oh, right, that's
Matt's friend Rebecca.
Like, you know Rebecca, but like, do you?
Kiarna, I just feel it's like, this is her third season on the show and I'm still like, oh,
what's her?
Oh, did she make my breakup?
Oh, right.
Okay.
Yeah, yeah.
Okay.
She has the business.
But so Kiana and her new friend Angel are having issues because Angel was playing devil's advocate
when Kiarna was complaining about Wendy.
And she's like, well, maybe she and Kiana's like, I don't like that from my friend.
She's my friend of 20 years.
An angel, of course, went to the same school as Wendy, but they like didn't really know each other
because she's three years younger, but she thinks that Wendy should know her.
It's a whole thing.
Complicated.
It's complicated.
But then Kiyah tells Giselle that she had to chin check Angel because she was being a little too
Team Wendy.
And then when Giselle tells Angel that Kiarna said she got chin checked, Angel is taking it back.
She says, I don't think my friend would use that word.
Because if I used that word, if somebody used that word, we'd have a problem.
And then Kiarna's like, I don't think I, I don't know if I, I don't think I would say that.
but maybe I did if just,
Giselle says I did, so maybe.
And then off camera, she says she didn't.
And then on camera again, she's like, yes, I did say it.
Back and forth, back and forth, back and forth.
Now, Chinchek is, it's a new term to me.
But I am, I'm very much wrapped up in the back and forth
of who did or did not allegedly chin check or intend to chin check
or maybe presumed to Chinchek another friend.
it's really just, it's a sticky phrase that is sticking in my brain. I, I remember Chinchak more than I
remember Kearna at this point. And then there's that whole other element of like a couple years ago when
like that, you know, Cookie Monster Lady Deborah was like Chincheked Kearna. That's a whole other
facet of it. Really just messy, messy times in Potomac. And it's like Preakness Day and there's two
different things happening and Wendy's hanging out with the first lady of Maryland, which like,
just like backing up for a second. I mean, this whole thing is chaotic. But watching now this entire
season of Real Housewives of Potomac, with the knowledge of what Wendy allegedly was doing
behind the scenes, which has now led to this whole legal debacle, it's such a strange position to be in
as a viewer actually, because normally, think about like when Jen Shah got arrested.
That happened a little bit into the season while they were filming the season, and then we watched
the aftermath play out on that season.
But this has happened at a very unique spot in the calendar, Potomac-wise, where the whole season's
filmed and in the can.
It has just premiered, so there are probably
17 episodes that we have yet to see that are not going to include any part of this legal storyline.
Now, I do believe that they have picked up cameras in the aftermath of Wendy's arrest,
and so there's going to be some kind of, you know, CODA attached to the finale.
I mean, the way that this Potomac season is being chopped and screwed to accommodate these ladies' legal proceedings.
because they already had to pick cameras back up when Karen got out of jail.
Because they had finished filming and then Karen got out of jail.
And it was like, okay, we'll film that.
It'll probably be a nice little button on the finale.
That finale is going to be so Frankenstein together.
Truly sending prayers to the editors of Real Housewives of Potomac
that are going to have to figure out how to add on two different epilogue.
It's like when there's like the PS at the bottom of the letter and it's like, oh, like PPS, I thought of another thing I have to add.
It is so, it's so wild to think that this Wendy thing is just going to be this elephant in the room that we know isn't going to be addressed until an addendum at the very end of the season.
And now also to see that Wendy, you know, she was pretty silent, I think, for like a week.
and then now she is back online.
She posted for this week's episode.
She posted in her, her preakness, you know, black and white look.
The look was a little Cruella DeVille, which, given the circumstances, I'm not sure that would be what I'm leading with on my Instagram.
But, you know, to each their own, whatever her strategy is going to be going out, going from here on out.
But I'm like, okay, so is she just going to spend this entire season acting like nothing's going on?
Are we just going to get a post every week that's like, tune in tonight?
Because that feels crazy.
But then on the other hand, it's like, I guess what else are you going to do?
This is, you know, she's still on the show until further notice.
So it's like, is she going to come to watch what happens live?
Is she going to go to the reunion?
There's so many questions.
And it's like, we just started this season.
I'm still learning people's names.
I mean, granted, I'm still learning Kearnas name after three years.
but like Tia and Angel are like, you know, when you get those like, you know, Pillsbury like
unbaked cookies, it's like they're not firmly baked yet.
If you took them out of the oven now, it's a little too early.
They're going to fall apart.
These are not fully formed characters in my mind and we still have a whole season left to watch.
Stacey's going about her business.
She did tell the ladies that she and Timo are figuring things out.
I was glad she did that at least because that seemed mess.
for her not to say anything about that, but the ladies don't believe her as far as they could
throw her, which again, it's like Wendy is dragging Stacy's credibility through the gutter,
and it's like, now unfortunately for her, I'm watching all those scenes through the lens
of knowing that you allegedly did the dumbest fraud I've ever heard of.
It's just, it's a really interesting, it's a really interesting moment for Potomac.
And I actually am quite enjoying this season so far.
I mean, the scene of Kiarna and Wendy at the beginning of this episode meeting up outside,
they're like sitting on a bench.
And Kiyana is breaking the fourth wall to talk about Wendy not being a good enough friend to her,
which I'm like, okay, that's kind of a bold move from a like newer housewife who's having a
conversation with a woman who's a longer tenured housewife and like on the face of it, I think
that Kearna is like expecting too much from Wendy because I don't think Wendy gives a fuck about her
and she's breaking the fourth wall to do so, which I feel like production isn't going to like.
And then Wendy's reaction to just laugh in her face.
And she keeps going.
Kiana's like, I just thought that we could have this conversation because I just expected
a little bit more from you.
And Wendy is literally, that was crazy.
Crazy. And now I'm watching it and I'm like, this would already be like a very heightened
scene, but I'm watching it. And I'm like, okay, so Wendy's, at what point in the fraud are we?
Wendy, it's just you view everything that Wendy does now through a little bit of a different lens.
And having a whole season like that is, it's a unique scenario. That's all I'll say.
It's going to be, going to be a long season, but I'm excited.
to keep watching.
So good, so good.

Okay, let's talk about Salt Lake City.
because Salt Lake City, oh my God, you guys, they're giving us so much.
Now, I didn't get to talk about last week's episode of Salt Lake City, and I just want to,
I just want to briefly give some love to the fact that this was another episode of Salt Lake City.
They've done a few of them that takes place pretty much entirely at one event.
And this is something I've talked about this before.
They did it last season with Lisa's Bezos party at the season premiere, and they did it last season
with Meredith's Bat Mitzvah, both events with just wide-ranging implications and lots of stuff
going on doing it this season.
At Whitney's, what are we calling this event?
Whitney's, Hilling, reclaiming the poll, reclaiming the fun wet that was always fun,
reclaiming her time, her shine.
Utah of wine tasting and psychic reading party 2025.
Whatever the fuck this event was, it was pure cinema.
Now, first of all, I, okay, if you are somebody out there who owns a vineyard in a place that's not typically seen as wine country,
keep it up.
Great, like great.
Love that for you.
I am very curious how the Utah wine is tasting
because I am also from a place, Missouri,
that is not known or thought of as a wine destination.
It's no Napa Valley.
It's no Bordeaux.
It's no, you know, Argentina, New Zealand, Italy.
But there's a lot of vineyards in Missouri.
And I haven't tried every Missouri wine, so I can't speak for all of them.
But it's not good.
You guys, it's not good.
You tell yourself that it's pretty good.
You go sit at a winery and you're like, oh, this is nice.
You guys, it's not good wine.
So I'm just wondering, like, Utah wine.
How is that?
If anybody lives in Utah or has been to Utah and sampled the local,
the local varietals, please let me know.
It can't be good, right?
It's so cold there.
How do they even grow the grapes?
I don't know.
Okay, but this is the least of our concerns.
Because along with the wine tasting,
we as flown out a psychic from New York.
He's apparently an amazing psychic.
And I will say he is either a really great psychic
or he is a really big fan of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
or maybe both, because he knows a lot of things about these women.
And, you know, how would, how would somebody know a lot of things about these women?
From being psychic, I guess.
Or from, you know, watching the 100 episodes of TV that they've been on.
It just was so funny to me, when Brittany sits down for her reading, and he's like, so you have daughters.
She's like, mm-hmm, mm-hmm.
And he's like, and things aren't great with them?
Oh, my God.
How do you know that?
He's like, do you feel like there's friction between your daughters and your relationship?
There is literally no way he could know that.
And then cut to that scene from last season when Heather and Brittany are playing like pickleball or whatever.
And she's like, yeah, I don't know.
I have problems with my daughters because I was prioritized the guys.
It's like, you guys, the psychic has a peacock login.
He's clocking your shit because it's on TV.
Now, I enjoyed some of the reading.
I thought that, you know, Bronwyn got a reading about how her mom's time with us might be limited.
She was crying a lot.
Lisa got a reading about how there's, you know, trouble with her marriage maybe or, you know, something like that.
And she was crying because she's like, yeah, how did you know that?
And Lisa, of course, then goes out to the group.
She's like, yeah, yeah, yeah, my reading was good.
It was amazing.
Thank you.
You know, just like, yeah, he like said stuff.
but it was good.
These readings,
they're like so,
so interesting.
Mary does not partake in the reading
because she thinks that's satanic.
Honestly, go off.
Like,
I wouldn't want to have my shit read either.
I,
you know,
I am not,
like a big religious person,
but I also just like don't need,
I don't need some man poking around in my life.
If I wanted some man poking around in my life,
I would,
try harder on the dating apps than I do currently.
I just...
But he's like good at what he does.
And meanwhile, the entire time he's doing these readings
is just absolute and utter chaos
at the outdoor wine tasting table.
Because there is like a vibe within this group
this season where they cannot just...
chill with each other. The level of animosity between, I mean, really specifically,
Angie and Lisa, I mean, there are others, of course, everybody pitches in. It is so high.
The temperature is so high. And it's honestly, like, I mean, it's very captivating to watch.
think this episode at the, at the winery with the psychic was fascinating. And it was, you know,
messy. I mean, it gave us soup man, which was apparently actually suit man, but everybody
heard soup. I think Lisa said soup. I think after the fact she's amending, she's rewriting history.
She said soup. Angie's throwing her, her black cards on the, on the floor. There's just so much
going on. And it's like a, it's like a dense tapestry of chaos. And, you know, I think that it was a great
episode. But I also then I'm like, okay, not every episode can be like this. And so this week,
we zoomed out a little bit. We had a lot more kind of one-on-ones, a lot more check-ins.
And it was, it was different from last week's episode, but no less interesting.
because we have some really, really, I think, telling interactions happening here.
First of all, Bronwyn and Todd have two different scenes this episode, which is a lot.
You know, Todd is, you know, he's grumpy, but he's showing up.
He's getting miced up at what cost.
But he, he's never listened to a goddamn thing that Bronwyn has said.
Because they, okay, they go to get ice cream.
And this made my blood boil.
And they sit down with their ice cream.
And Bronwyn has this, like,
delicious looking Sunday with a cherry on the side. And she says, yeah, like, you know, like I,
I love my marasino cherry. And, you know, I like to save it to last. And so if there's only one,
like, I hate it when you eat it. Literally 30 seconds later, he goes to take a bite of her Sunday,
and he takes the fucking cherry. Grounds for divorce. I'm sorry. I, I've given this disclaimer
before. I am not married. I haven't been married. I know. I hear from you all.
marriage is hard work. I'm sorry, if you are married to somebody and they are, okay, there are only
two options. Either he is actively not listening, like literally to the point where his ears are
glued shut to something she said 30 seconds ago, or he heard her and is doing this on purpose.
Both bad, you guys, both bad. And I'm sorry, like, I'm glad she gets to buy her couture and
fly private sometimes, but like, at what cost?
he like, he fucking sucks.
It's so uncomfortable to watch.
I mean, that's to say nothing of the fact that he clearly thinks like everything she cares about and talks about is stupid.
She's having an honest reaction to this reading she got from the psychic that was upsetting about basically like, we know that your dad has been the one that seems really sick, but hey, also don't forget about your mom.
She might not have a long time either.
that's upsetting whether or not you think that the psychic is like real.
He's not willing to engage with that at all.
And then later in the episode,
they're getting ready to go on this,
you know,
below deck crossover yacht trip.
And he tells her,
oh,
I don't think you should go on this trip.
Why would you put yourself in this situation with Lisa?
You know,
you're a big girl.
You can make your own decision,
but I don't want to,
if you get in a fight with Lisa,
I don't want to hear it,
essentially.
And it almost, to the point where it's like the energy almost feels like threatening.
And it's like, okay, first of all, just a weird way to talk to your life partner.
But also, I hate the thing where it's like, I don't understand why you would put yourself
in a position to be with this woman.
It's like, because she's on the cast of the TV show.
It's not rocket science.
Todd is like a smart businessman.
She signed a contract.
she's going to go on the cast trip.
And I know that this is like, I'm like picking nits here because it's just like Todd sucks.
Sorry, but like, if you're so smart, then you know that she's on the show and she's going to go on the trip for the show.
It just bugs me.
It rubs me the wrong way.
Then we also get a conversation with Lisa and John because, you know, Lisa, the psychics had that things weren't good in their marriage and they need to talk about this.
And like, I'm so intrigued by this because it feels like Lisa is, she's not willing to actually tell us anything.
But it does feel like this scene is like dancing closer to the flame than we normally get with her.
Because John is pretty honest that she's like, that they're not communicating well, that things aren't great in the sense of like how they deal with things.
And there's this complicated line because they're working together.
And, you know, she feels weird about that.
And then he feels weird about that.
And she says my favorite thing when she goes, I'm so frustrated.
Do you hear that?
She doesn't pronounce the first R and frustrated.
She's so frustrated.
It frustrates me.
What is that?
Frustrate.
Is that like, I don't know.
It's very like Amaya from Love Island, like gratatulie.
I'm so frustrated.
But Lisa, I mean, Lisa really is frustrating me this season because it feels like we cannot get any deeper than the absolute surface level.
Because Lisa has a chat with Heather who, Heather seems to be the only person who has like any sort of cachet with Lisa right now to even broach this subject.
where, you know, Heather wants everybody to be good before this yacht trip.
And she's like, you know, Angie is coming on the trip.
And Lisa's like, well, that's great.
She'll really enjoy it because she's never had a luxury vacation like that before.
It's like, okay, first of all, okay, that's kind of funny.
That's kind of funny.
It's like, oh, yeah, she'll enjoy the yacht because she, like, can't afford it herself.
It's like, it's funny.
But then it's like, okay, that's funny.
But it's obviously also, like, mean.
And Lisa is unwilling to admit that she is at all.
going low or being mean or being hard on Angie at all.
Because she's like, well, she did it first.
She said by my kid and my brand and Fresh Wolf and she did the thing.
And it's like, you're both doing the thing.
And this is frustrating to me because it's like I, I feel like housewives get stuck
in this framework of like she did it to me first.
And this is, I mean, this is exactly what's happening with Tamara and Gretchen on OSE where it's like,
Gretchen's like, well, she brought it up first. And it's like, right, somebody doing the thing to you does not give you carte blanche until the end of time to do it back to them 10 times worse. I think it's valid to say I had an emotional response to what she brought up or I went low because she went low and it didn't reflect well on either of us. But this like staunch position from Lisa that it's like anything I say or do.
to Angie is 100% valid because she said something to me first.
That's just not a way that like real life works.
I mean, not, not productively at least.
And it's hard for me to, it's like hard for me to see somebody like her who is like
allegedly so successful in life and in business and in whatever who like thinks that way.
It's like, is that working for you?
Really?
And then the other thing, she and Heather are shopping at this store.
And Lisa, when they go to pay, takes out this stack of $100 bills, crispy ones.
And she's like gesticulating with this stack of cash in hand.
She's like tapping it on the counter for emphasis.
And it's like, baby girl, I think I've seen this movie before.
And it ended with Teresa Judice going in prison.
Put the $100 bills away.
I don't know whose credit card you're using, but the waving the stack of cash around.
Ooh, it's spooky season, and that just gave me a chill.
Just like nothing ends.
Well, it's 2025.
Nobody pays with cash like that.
Really?
Unless you're like a server or a drag queen, why do you have cash?
I don't know.
It's just my spidey sense is tingling.
But the other scene that we really have to talk about,
is Brittany with her daughter because my God.
I, first of all, just like team Britney's daughter.
I will ride for this girlie because you can tell that she has been through it.
And Brittany explains, she's like, yeah, so I was a great mom.
And then I got divorced from their dad.
And then I married this other guy.
And I felt like I had to be a great wife to him.
So I was like, okay, I'm going to be a great wife.
And then once I do that, then I can be a mom again.
and then, oh, actually all of a sudden my daughters were living with their dad and I didn't see them.
And then that marriage didn't work out either.
So now I'm with this other guy very on and off and on and off and on and off and on and off in perpetuity.
And also, like, my daughters don't really talk to me, but like, I messed up.
First of all, crazy story.
Crazy story.
And the way that Brittany tells this story, you would think that irreparably damaging her relationship with her children.
is like the same as forgetting to pick up the dry cleaning.
It's like, I messed up.
I made a mistake.
I thought the shirts were going to be ready on Tuesday,
but they weren't ready till Thursday.
Like, ma'am, those are your human children
that don't speak to you because you ignored them
for however many years.
But so the daughter has come, has agreed to have coffee with her.
She's like, I got you a steamer.
Do you remember this thing from when you were four?
when you would say, I'm on my coffee and it was a steamer.
First of all, like, okay, back it up.
If you're having a conversation with somebody who doesn't like you,
doing bits at the beginning is probably not going to be received well.
Just like blanket advice, if I can.
But her daughter says, do you remember the last time we tried to do this?
We tried to have a talk.
And everybody's like, I don't think I remember.
Were the cameras there?
No.
She goes, I showed up.
And then Jared showed up.
you ignored me and made out with him in front of me.
I'm so surprised.
But like, so this poor girl is like, I want to give you a chance, but more than I want to give
you a chance, I don't want to have my feelings hurt again.
So I need you to be so for real right now about whether this is real and whether you
actually are going to do this, give me what I need from you.
or like, it's not worth it to begin with.
And it's so rough because Brittany is like, yeah, and I do.
I do want to do that.
I do, you know, I do.
I don't know why I don't put you for it.
I don't know why I chose a man.
It's like, baby girl, you want to be an actress?
You want to, you want to be on Broadway?
These acting skills aren't giving because I wouldn't believe, you know,
I wouldn't believe for a second that if Jared Osmond texted, you're going to be, oh, oh, sorry.
Oh, yeah, hold that thought one second.
I, hey, Jared.
Oh, you're, oh, yeah, okay, I'll be there in, right, okay, no, I'm not with anyone.
Okay, yeah, I'll be there in five.
Okay, love you.
It's like, I don't believe for a second that she means this.
And even it would be one thing if she really wants to mean it, but something in her is whatever.
I'm like, I don't even really feel like she wants to mean it.
It feels so hollow and so, so meaningless.
That just, it makes me sad because it's like, damn, you're here with your daughter.
And it sounds like you would rather be like, you know, with Jared like on a jet ski somewhere.
It's just like, oh, yikes.
Yikes, yikes, yikes.
But Salt Lake City, man, what a ride.

Some of the outfits, some of the, I can't. You got it.
Like Gretchen Rossi just like with her little like doll wardrobe in Amsterdam.
It's a lot.
No, but there's like messy stuff in the group as always.
Of course, Gretchen and Tamara can't get along ever.
That's I'm kind of past the point of caring.
Shannon is now mad at Jen because she heard that Jen is still friends with Alexis Bolino.
And you know, Jen is like disputing this.
She's like, I got invited to the wedding, but I don't know if I was going to go.
but I didn't say that I wouldn't be friends with her.
Gina says that Jen tiptoes around how she feels,
like when she didn't tell Shannon that she thought the wedding shower she threw for her was stupid.
This one made me laugh because I'm like, it was like a nice little wedding lunch,
but also it's like, yeah, why did Shannon do that?
Like, are Shannon and Jen aren't even like close like that?
Also, I still can't figure out this entire season.
I'm like, what is going on with Jen and Ryan's wedding?
because do you guys remember at the beginning of the season
they were shopping for wedding bikinis?
Which is a crazy thing to say.
But they were like looking at white bikinis and he was like,
yeah, you're going to be on the beach in Malibu and you're going to be my girl.
I thought they were getting married like weeks from now.
And now Jen's like, well, I don't know if we'll have it again next year.
It's like, I don't, what's going on?
And then Gretchen is like coaching Jen to start making social media content without Ryan.
She's like, girl, if you work it,
this can be a real business.
You will be raking in the cash and you got to treat it like a job.
And this is so funny because I remember, like during the pandemic, I think Gretchen was doing like,
she was selling like MLM hair care products.
She was selling Monet that like M-O-N-A-T, I think.
She's like, oh, I'm with the Monet girls.
I'm like, how's that going for you?
Gretchen, Gretchen painting herself as this entrepreneur for the age.
She's like, I have like six businesses.
I'm like, yeah, what are they?
List to them, please.
Whatever happened to Gretchen Christine handbags?
Do you guys read Gretchen Christine?
That was like the international lifestyle brand.
That was like the Sonia Morgan, New York.
Back in the day when she was on OC the first time, she had handbags.
I think there was maybe makeup, jewelry.
Gretchen Christine.
First of all, just like imagine a name that rolls off the tongue less than
Gretchen Christine.
Like, Gretchen Christine.
Oh, who made that?
Where'd you get that?
That purse is so cute.
Where'd you get it?
It's Gretchen Christine.
Like, some people have names like, Coco Chanel, Giorgio Armani, Gianni Versace,
a Gretchen Christine.
So sorry.
No, but I'm like, what are these businesses?
She's like, I'm just going to have checks in the mail until the end of time.
I'm like, okay, that sounds illegal.
where are the checks coming from.
No, but things get bad after the end of the episode.
First of all, they have it out in this hot tub, canal boat, Tamara and Gretchen again.
I'm like, the amount of different locations that these women have fought this season,
it's like, I guess I appreciate that they are showing up and putting in the work,
but it's like they're having the same argument over and over and over and over and over again.
And it must feel like that to them too, but watching it, I'm just like, enough.
They're not friends. They're never going to be friends. Neither of them want to be friends. So why are they still working through this?
Just, I kind of can't wait for the season to be over just so we can maybe never see Gretchen again and never have to have this same argument again.
But at the very end of the episode, things heat up because Gina and Emily wake up and they're talking about these posts that Tamara said Gretchen was liking on Instagram.
And they don't show us the posts in this episode. I think we're going to get more next time.
but I found on Reddit from like three months ago,
somebody posted screenshots.
Gretchen was liking Instagram posts that are really homophobic,
anti-LGBQ.
And this is not just like Adam and Eve,
not Adam and Steve.
One of the posts that Gretchen liked on Instagram,
that there's a screenshot of,
so like, allegedly whatever.
It says that LGBTQ acceptance is, quote,
opening the door to pedophilia.
That is the type of shit that Gretchen Rossi engages with online.
And real heads know back in the day, a few years ago, you know, this is like, again, like
pandemic times, when Gretchen was like far from being on Real House House House,
as Orange County, she was like mingling with Q&ON people.
Like this is something where like if you have been paying attention throughout the duration
of Gretchen's time in our lives.
Like, she has aligned herself with the, you know,
she's very into the like Christian, whatever,
which like I'm not saying all, you know, Christians feel that way,
but it's like there's a specific flavor of that vibe
that Gretchen engages with and clearly identifies with
that is like that.
And, you know, they're saying, oh, this stuff is bad.
Heather is really going to have a problem with this.
Obviously, Heather, you know, is a parent to multiple LGBTQ children.
And also just like anybody who's in the world should have a problem with something like that.
A tweet that says LGBTQ acceptance is opening the door to pedophilia.
Like, Gretchen has a lot of splain in to do, let's just say.
And, you know, I don't think that this season has been particularly successful for Gretchen
even without any of this coming into play.
But man, at this point, it's like, pack it up.
Don't let the door hit you on your way out.
And I mean, like, I, please.
It's 2025.
I don't want to do this.
Like, enough.
It's not cute.
The stuff, fighting with Tamara about stuff from 2009, that's not cute either.
But like, at least that is what housewives kind of is.
This shit, get it out of here.
Take it out with the garbage.
It's enough.
fun times fun times um you know best of luck to dr wendy in getting her charges thrown out best of luck to gretchen and you know explaining away all those tweets she liked and you know that's kind of where we're at this week um our next segment is all the rage brought to you by angry orchard hard cider life is too short to keep things bottled up especially when there are way juicier things to obsess over we're unpacking the bravo drama that has us spiraling this week in the best way
possible. So crack open a crisp, refreshing angry orchard, and let's get into it. Now, today's
All the Rage is not necessarily Bravo drama, but it's Bravo happenings that I think are very exciting.
And this is that Candy Burris is continuing to be in her Broadway era. Now, Candy has been
a Broadway girly for a while now, both on stage and off. And we have gotten a pair of announcements
in recent weeks that I think are very exciting and that show that Candy Burris is like true to this.
And Candy is somebody who for the longest time, you know, what we know about Candy is that she is going to find a job.
She is going to find a check.
She is going to be booked and busy.
And so her Broadway journey, you know, she did musical theater when she was a kid, but she started on Broadway in Chicago in 2018.
She played, I think she played Mama Morton.
as many housewives have found their way into Chicago over the years. But over the last few years,
she has formed a pretty illustrious career as a Broadway producer. And it was recently announced
that she is going to be producing another play this season, a revival of the August Wilson play,
Joe Turner's Come and Gone, which interestingly is going to be starring to Raji P. Henson
and Cedric the Entertainer. It's directed by Debbie Allen, really like A-list stuff going on here.
is what I think is so exciting about Candice's foray into theatrical producing is that she started
kind of in the post-COVID Broadway season, started with some smaller plays. But recently, I mean,
she was a lead producer on Othello with Denzel Washington last season. She did the revival of
The Wiz a couple years ago. I saw her production of the piano lesson with Samuel L. Jackson and
Danielle Brooks. That was very exciting. And she is just continuing on this streak of producing really
buzzy works of theater. And I think it's really exciting that she's leaning into this, but even more
exciting. I mentioned that she was in Chicago several years ago, and she is going to be coming back to
the Broadway stage next month in Anne Juliet. And if you've seen Ann Juliet, she's playing this role
Angelique, which is like, it's like kind of like a fun, featured role, kind of like a sassy, you know,
lady who kind of mentors some of the younger people in the group. And she gets some really fun, like,
singing and dancing moments. It's a really funny character. And I think that this is like the perfect
kind of role for Candy because she is just going to be able to have fun with it. She's going to be
able to put a little bit of like a personal spin on it. And I'm excited to see it. I've seen Angeliette a
couple times. Maybe I'll have to go back. I don't know. I mean, it's always exciting to see a Bravo
Lab on the Broadway stage. And Candy, I mean, Candy has the chops. Like say what you want about
whoever else. I'm not going to name names. But like, you know, you know,
I mean, Candy's a Grammy winner, honey.
She's, she's been about this life, you know, since I was born, basically.
But I'm just thrilled for everything that Candy has going on.
And, you know, maybe we'll try and get Candy on the show to talk about her,
her theater career and a couple of Housewives things, too.
But I am excited for everything that's coming up for her.
And I, you know, she's going to win that Tony someday.
She's going to get her EGOT if it's the last thing she does.
And I believe, you know, I will not.
never bet against Candy Burris because she knows how to make things happen. So that is all the rage.
Thanks again to Angry Orchard. Sometimes life can get overwhelming, but taking a moment to enjoy the
things we love makes all the difference. There's always room for a little indulgence. Now, I love an
angry orchard in the fall. I have been cracking open a few in recent weeks. You know, it's a nice thing
because if you want to be like outside in a little, you know, like picnic setting, maybe that's a
that you could bring an angry orchard, or if you're at home and you just want like a little
something nice and refreshing with dinner or like movie night or whatever, just any occasion.
I feel like Angry Orchard is like light and refreshing enough that you can kind of just
pair it up with whatever you have going on.
So Angry Orchard, it's just, it's the reason for the season.
And this is the best season to drink it.
