Mention It All - Craig’s Latest Paige DeSorbo Shade, New Ladies of London, & Dorit vs. Amanda Heats Back Up (Plus Summer House & Southern Hospitality)
Episode Date: March 13, 2026Dylan is back to cap off another busy week, and he wastes no time getting into the must-watch Bravo episodes from this week. To start, he dives deep on the newly-revived Ladies of London, with a huge ...cast of personalities that are already getting quite messy. Is this Bravo’s next big hit? Speaking of premieres, he also unpacks the start of Southern Hospitality’s fourth season, which finds the Republic crew in the middle of more drama than ever in the wake of last season’s epic reunion. Later, he recaps the season finale of Southern Charm, and questions whether Charley and Salley’s so-called friendship is really worth saving at this point. After some quick thoughts on Summer House (team Bailey!), Dylan wraps things up in Tuscany with the RHOBH cast. Now that Amanda and Dorit have hashed it out once again, will things improve? Hey everyone, welcome back to the Mentioned It All podcast in another Friday episode. I am so happy to be back. I feel like it's been a while since I sat down in the chair and caught up with all of you because I recorded a little early last week, if you'll recall. And then our great episode with Golnessa and Tenin was pre-recorded for this Tuesday. So I'm very excited to be back. We have a lot of shows to get into. It's literally the outline this week. It's like there's not even really news happening. It's just like show, show, show, show, show, show. Because I don't want to skip this.
things. Like there's a lot I want to talk about. Everything is like pretty good right now. But I know that,
you know, we'll see what we get to. We'll see. But first, I want to shout out, like I said,
Golnessa and Tanin on our Tuesday episode, the Valley Persian style had a wonderful first season. So I was
really excited to get to kind of close out the season, talking to the two of them. We, uh,
we talked about, you know, everything that happened this season, why they didn't get a reunion,
who they're talking to right now. Um, it was the first time I ever really got to sit down
and chat with Gigi. So I was very excited for that and tennine has been great this season two.
So go listen to that. You can watch it on our YouTube channel, YouTube.com slash at Bravo by
Betches. Video also on Spotify. If you're listening, just like tap the switch to video thing.
And you'll you'll see. I was going to say our beautiful faces, really Tenin and Gigi's beautiful faces.
And then I'm doing whatever I'm doing over here. But next week we have a very exciting Tuesday
episode. Another first-time guest on Mentioned-all. Crazy after all these years, Kate Chastain
in the studio. Exciting. She's on House of Villains right now, so it was fun to get to talk about that,
a very different kind of thing to get into. And then we talked a little bit traitors, a little bit
below deck, a little bit just like Kate's overall impact on the Bravo landscape. I think we talked
about Beverly Hills a little bit. There's a lot going on in the Kate episode. So make sure that
you're subscribed wherever you listen or watch so you don't miss that coming up next week.
But just a good time.
There is so much going on right now because I was out of town over the weekend.
I was in New Orleans for a friend's wedding.
It was fun.
The clocks changed.
I didn't know where I was.
And then I came back and I was like, I have so much Bravo to watch.
Because while I was gone for like three or four days, Southern Hospitality, Season 4, premiere,
we had Ladies of London. The new rain, season four, is it season one, season four? I don't know what we're doing there. Two episode premiere on Thursday. Beverly Hills, they're in Italy now. You know, Southern Charm, their season is wrapping up. A lot going on, a lot to talk about. And we got to get into it also. I am going to start today with talking about Ladies of London because it is the brand new shiny penny on the street and I am just picking it up and I can't get enough.
I was very skeptical.
Well, not very skeptical.
I wasn't sure about this Ladies of London reboot concept
simply because I don't know in 2026 how much kind of like residual love there is for Ladies of London.
It is a show where I remember when I was first really getting into Bravo like eight or nine years ago
and then maybe up through like the pandemic time frame.
I feel like Ladies of London was a show where people would constantly shout out.
This was a great show.
It was underrated in its time.
It's underappreciated three seasons.
It got canceled too soon.
They need to bring it back.
What's going on with Ladies of London?
I watched it.
I think during COVID for the first time,
I enjoyed it.
It kind of felt like an artifact.
Like it felt kind of random.
It's not a Housewives show.
They never did reunions.
It was a very specific.
vibe. And then it just never came back. And then I think, you know, in the last few years,
Caroline Stanbury moved to Dubai. She was on Real Housewives of Dubai. You know, Juliet
Angus is now on Real Housewives of London, which we can't even watch in this country.
But so it really does feel like this Ladies of London 2.0 is a completely fresh show.
obviously it is living under the umbrella of ladies of London. It carries a similar setup in the sense that it is kind of built around this London society world and, you know, broader ecosystem. And specifically that it features a cast of some Brits and some people from international waters living in the UK, based in the UK. And so there is kind of that.
element of a little bit of culture clash, a little bit of that like class society thing where
some people fit in, some people are trying to fit in, some people are maybe trying to break out.
You know, there's there's a lot of different kind of factors at play. And I think that was
part of what made Ladies of London feel unique in the first place. And I have to say,
I think they have done a really great job, so far at least, of finding people that feel like
they fit within the spirit of what it was before. But also,
feel like they bring something completely new to the table. And first of all, it is a big cast.
So there are eight people that are like full time in this cast. And then if you count Dara Dara,
who is, you know, half one one foot out the door, kind of quitting maybe. She's like not technically
in the cast. So I assume she just fully stops filming at some point. Nine people. I was watching
this premiere. And I was like, okay. So sorry. First of all, there's, there's all these people. Five of their
names start with M, which just is, for like our brains, a nightmare, they all seem great.
It's Martha, Margo, Micah, Mark Francis, and, Mamma, ma, ma, ma, ma, ma, ma, ma, ma, ma, ma, ma, ma, ma, ma.
No, Marissa was on the first thing. Margo, Francis, Micah, Missy, Missy, Missy, Missy, my Swedish
princess, she might actually be a, who's a princess? I don't know, somebody, Mark Francis's
mom was a princess. I don't know. There's a lot of, um, no, I got, I found it.
I figured it out. It's Missy. There's a lot of, um, it's very she, she, she, but we've got,
Emma's a marchioness. Um, Martha used to be married to a baronet. Um, there's a lot of society going on.
And it's, it's an interesting mix. And I'm having a good time with it so far because I feel like
it's a big cast. It's a, it's a, you know, a new show. We're getting to know everybody. But I
feel like everybody has like something about them that I can sort of pull to my mind and just
like know who they are right off the bat. And I'm like, okay, so Mark Francis is the man.
Kimmy is the drunk. Emma is the one that lives at a zoo, essentially. Martha is the one with
the bird, divorced, riches to rags to riches to whatever. Margo is the one who was in the
movie that maybe was porn but not quite, but it went to Cann.
Missy is the Swedish one who doesn't like to wear clothes.
Micah is the one with the questionable hair choices and the etiquette business.
Dara is the one who seems like a stone cold fucking freak.
I know all these women and I just met them like yesterday.
I think it speaks to the success of the casting that after literally less than a week of
of knowing that these people exist,
I kind of feel like I know all of them.
And obviously, like, we're going to learn more.
And, you know, I'm sure they have, you know, multitudes or whatever.
I forgot to mention Lottie.
Lottie, I'm not sure about.
She's like, yes, so my husband and I were in fashion,
and also I'm pregnant.
And also, my husband and I, we met at the box.
And the first time I saw him at the box,
it was dark and I thought
is that Johnny Depp
because you know
he sort of has the look
and you know it's quite dark
at the box
I'm like okay first of all like
enough about the box
we hear about the box on too many of these shows
and I don't care about the box
like leave me alone
but also I'm like is it a flex to be like
you saw your husband in the dark and thought he was Johnny Depp
I mean
to me that's fight or flight mode
activated to each their own
he's not Johnny Depp
He's a moustachioed man who also works in fashion.
Congrats to her, everything she has going on.
Maybe I'll get to like her a little bit more as the season goes on.
We'll see.
But the first two episodes, and now there's a third episode out,
but I feel like sort of I'm trying to paint in broad strokes here because it's a brand new show.
And if you haven't watched it, this is me kind of telling you why you should watch it.
The first two episodes revolve around this one.
woman Dara, Dara, depending on who you ask?
Is that just a British thing?
Like, can they not say the A,
eh?
Because Micah, who's American,
says, she's like,
Dara and I have known each other
since we were 19 years old
when we met at the University of Florida.
We are best friends.
She is like a sister to me.
We call each other bunny.
I bought her walkie-talkies
that we could use between our offices,
which are one floor apart from each other.
And then Dara, as according to Michael, Dara, according to everybody else, she's like,
we're not that close.
I guess, yeah, I've known her for a long time, but like, we weren't like in each other's
lives.
Like, eh, I guess.
I just can't imagine, before we get into any of the, like, drama, drama, I can't imagine.
I can't imagine going on a show with a woman that you have known in.
in some way, shape, or fashion for 20 plus years and not being on the same page at all about
the way that your relationship is going to be portrayed or whether or not that matches up with
real life.
Like, this woman is going on the show being like, this is my bestie, my sister, my soulmate.
And you're like, mm, could take her or leave her to B.H.
like that's
I would never recover from that
if I went on a show with my best friend
and watched their confessionals
and she was like
yeah just like it's a lot
sometimes
like if I mean
like
disastrous
but anyway
there's immediately a rumor on the first episode
that Dara is a madam
she's a madam
she's a madam
I can't, by the way, I cannot get enough of Martha.
Martha's voice, she's like, my pet bed, Hecatee.
Yes, she's flying all around the flats.
Yes, of course, it means a lick of paint.
It's run down.
But Hecadie, be careful wear the goggles because she'll peck out your eye.
I'm doing her a disservice, but I just love this.
This show is going to be a whirlwind for me with the accents.
Oh, boy.
Um, but so, so there's this rumor going around that, you know, Margo told Martha that she heard that she's a madam and.
Micah is responding to this rumor like somebody spreading it about herself. She's like, I just, no, that's ridiculous. She could. Oh my God. She's the nicest person.
First of all, I'm like, a madam could be a nice person. Maybe. I don't know how it's. There could be like a, is there like ethical madamship?
I don't know. I don't know. I don't want to be like pro madam and then somebody says,
that's problematic, but whatever.
Micah is very affected by this rumor.
So, of course, she's like, well, I got to tell my friend that people are saying she's a
madam, which, like, I think a good friendship instinct.
And when she sits down and tells Dera about this, I'm going to go with Dara.
Because Summer House, it's Dara, so I feel like it's just easier to have two Deras
than Adara and Adara and have to keep them straight.
She sits her down, she's like, yeah, so, you know, really great, great garden party,
you know, a lot of fun.
It seemed like nice girls, but, oh, man.
And I just, I don't even know how to say it.
I, it's really tough.
People were saying that you're, um, um, um, people were, there was this horrible, people
were saying that you're a madam.
And Dara is like, you would think that Michael was just like, oh, I heard it's going to be
like breezy outside later.
She's like, okay.
Okay.
Well.
And Michael's like, and obviously I was so upset by this because you're my, you're my, you're
my.
closest around of 23 years and how dare anybody say they're just like okay whatever okay crazy
crazy I feel like I'm taking crazy pills watching this scene because it's one thing if like
Dara and Micah maybe have like different you know frequencies of how they process information
and you know Mika seems like somebody who's very loud let's say for an etiquette coach she
a little bull in a china shop energy over there and Dara Dara does see
seem like she has a little bit more of a reserved energy.
But it feels almost like a calculated response where she, like, knows she's on camera,
knows that she's on this platform.
And it's like, for whatever reason, decided that this is not going to phase her even
one little bit.
And I'm just watching this.
And I'm like, okay, so like I'm not a madam, never have been.
Would it be like a monsieur if I was doing that?
Gigolo?
What's the word?
I don't know the words.
but like okay that's not clearly that would be untrue if somebody was saying it about me but
I'm like even if it was true like wouldn't you be like a little reactive whether it's true or not
like you'd be like oh that's crazy or like oh that's annoying like she's literally just like okay
no okay yeah they oh you think it's a big deal okay okay like it's weird like snap out of it
And so then in episode two, when Dara is hosting this dinner party,
a gorgeous dinner party, by the, the like jade floors at that restaurant,
ooh, oh, I need to like DM her and ask where that is next time I'm in London.
I want to go to the scene of the crime.
But so Missy and Dara have had this conversation earlier in the episode where, you know,
we find out that Missy has heard Derry.
Sarah saying some things behind Micah's back that are not so flattering. She's clothing her cringe and
she's saying, you know, she's so, you know, she's saying all these things and she's not, you
don't care about her and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, the walkie talkies. I kind of love Missy.
First of all, stunning. I mean, this cast is, it's a good looking cast, but like, oh, Missy,
big teeth, though. Chompers. Sorry, I just got stuck on the teeth. Um, so at the
dinner, Missy, you know, through like an episode and a half, I was like, okay, Missy, gorgeous girl,
what is she going to give? What are we getting from her? And at this dinner, thank God for Missy,
bone carrier instincts activated. And she goes, oh, I just feel a bit awkward sitting at this table,
Dara, because Dara, sorry, she says Dara, Dara, because, you know, you were saying this stuff about
your friend and now it feels weird that I know and you, that you were. And again, Dara goes into
like perfect stasis where she's like, no, oh, oh, oh, mm, mm, mm, mm, mm, mm,
no, just like nothing, like true, like robot vibes.
And so this is awkward, you know, it's coming up and, you know, Missy,
missy feels, you know, weird like she had, so then Micah tries to pull Dara for a chat.
She's like, can we go speak separately?
She's like, mm, no, right now, no.
but then Darry leaves the table.
She goes into talk to production and I love,
you know that shit is going down when it's the second episode of a new show.
And they're like, yeah, we can forget the fourth wall for now.
We've got to follow this.
She goes in and she says,
I did say those things about Micah,
but like, I don't know, whatever.
She's talking to production.
She goes back to the table.
Literally two minutes later at the table,
she's like, I didn't say those things.
And it is so crazy to watch literally in real time somebody go behind the curtain, admit to it,
then come back out from the curtain and unadmit to it.
It's like, babe, even in the moment if people believe you, which by the way, good for Micah,
she's like, I no longer believe her because I believe Missy saying to my face that she said this.
And she's like, well, I didn't, I didn't, in the third episode, she's like, I didn't say it directly to Missy.
Missy just heard me say it.
It's like, babe, this is not even splitting hairs.
We're splitting the atom at that point.
It's like very, it's very Teresa.
Like, I didn't spread a rumor.
I heard a rumor.
It's the same fucking thing.
In actuality, in practice, whatever.
So at the table at her own dinner party on the second episode, Dara just goes,
cut, cut, cut.
Yeah, I just don't think, I think I need to step away from this, you know, TV show.
but like what? What are we doing? Because to me, it's like, it would be one thing if it was like,
there was a big secret about Dara and she didn't want it to get out and she realized, oh, I,
I shouldn't have done this show. This was a bad idea. Let me get out before it blows up.
But she's so like calm and collected the whole time that it is like actually eerie to watch because it's
like, I am desperate to know what is going on behind this woman's eyes in that brain.
what is happening because it's bizarre to watch.
Now, at the end of episode two, they flash on the screen that Dara decided to stop filming
with the group.
In episode three, we do get one scene of her meeting up with Micah.
I don't know if we're just like closing the loop and then never going to see her again,
but whatever, they talk, she's still not really, she's like, can't you see how it was awkward
for me when Missy was saying that at the dinner?
And Micah's like, it was a thing about me that you were saying behind my back.
Can't you see how I felt awkward?
And she's like, yeah, I guess we're even.
It's like, no.
What are you talking about?
What are you saying?
Literally, like, Dara's like, Dara, sorry, Dara's like an alien.
It's so strange.
I don't know.
I don't know if we're going to see her again.
But if we don't, it was two and a half episode.
of me not knowing what the fuck was going on in a way that I really enjoyed.
So, Dara, thank you for your service.
And now you may exit.
Stage left, I guess.
I don't know.
I'm really enjoying this show, though.
I need to know a lot more about Emma's husband and his family estate,
which has now been also turned into a safari park at Longleit.
Her giving a mud bath to a rhino in episode one.
Thought I had seen it all.
I didn't know that humans were allowed to, like, interact with rhinos in that way.
Aren't you scared you're going to get, like, horned?
Is that it?
Like, are rhinos, like, not dangerous?
I think, I think they are.
Thank you, producer Joe.
I think they are.
Anyway, Longleet looks lovely.
I was looking, of course, as I, as I tend to do, last night, as I was watching the third episode,
I was on my computer on Google Maps looking up Longleet and doing, like, the full
like, you know, satellite view of the whole.
And it's crazy because it literally is like this like English Manor estate with like giant
house and like formal gardens and then just like tacked on the side is like a literal zoo.
Crazy times.
I can't imagine.
I'm saying I can't imagine living like that as if I don't live in like a studio apartment.
I'm like, wow.
I can't imagine living in a giant manor home that just happens to also have like monkeys out back.
I could do that.
but like running the business?
One of my,
low-key actually,
one of my favorite moments
that I want to mention
before we move on
because I think this show
has a very,
a very interesting relationship
with how it's interacting
with and portraying
the class, you know,
system in the UK
and, you know,
the levels of aristocracy
and new money
and people from the outside
and, you know,
Lottie talking about how,
you know,
she would call her family like Nouveau Rish
and, you know,
you have,
who was marrying into this, you know, aristocratic family.
And it was controversial at the time because she's half Nigerian.
By the way, her dad is also like Nigerian nobility.
Like he's in the like chieftain system and is a billionaire.
Billion with a bee.
He's like an oil executive in Lagos and is a billionaire.
So it's like, it's not like she was like, you know, some poor girl from down the street.
It's like, oh, no, she just happens to be half Nigerian, but it's like fucking rich, loaded.
And also like, noble blood, hey.
But no, she was like Megan Markle before Megan Markle was Megan Markle.
So good for her.
And don't you forget it.
But at the dinner, before Dara abruptly exits, she is like, okay, ladies, raise a glass.
Ladies and Mark Francis.
Where is ladies?
It's okay.
I can say that because I'm good.
He's one of the ladies.
I mean, it's ladies of London, and he's on the cast.
Like, come on.
She's like, raise a glass.
Cheers to all of us being self-made, self-made ladies with entrepreneurial spirits.
We're business owners.
We came from nothing.
Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
And the way that two-thirds of the women at the table, when they hear the words like self-made, entrepreneur,
are looking around and they're like, wait, like, wait, like,
What is she talking about?
Like, who?
I'm not self-made.
And the editors, gold star for the editors,
because they are literally going around the table,
flashing up on the screen,
the reasons why everybody is not self-made.
They're like, Mark Francis,
mother is, like, Russian princess,
father is Italian nobility.
This person, father is a shipping tycoon.
You know, Emma's dad's Nigerian billionaire.
Like, I just,
just really appreciated that because I feel like so many people who aren't self-made try to act
like they are or they're like, oh, you know, like I have a whole life story just because I,
just because I came from whatever doesn't mean that I never had to work hard. It's like,
we get it. And it's like, shut up. It's like Nepo babies being like, I, it actually made it
harder in a way. It's like, yeah, I'm sure it did. But I love that this group of people,
they hear self-made and they're like, well, that's not me. It's refreshing. It's.
to have people who are so open about whatever life they've led and whatever, you know,
status they come from or they bring to the room or that doesn't also always match up with money.
It's like Martha has lady after her name and she can't afford to paint more than one room at a time.
Relatable.
That's why you live in a studio apartment.
You only have one room to paint.
The more you know.
I also want to talk about ladies of London, highly recommend.
I will definitely keep, you know, checking in on them throughout the season.

We also have to talk about the other premiere that happened last week, and that is Southern Hospitality.
because again, like Ladies of London, a fourth season, a show that has never been better.
I mean, these kids in Charleston are firing on all cylinders.
And I don't remember how much I covered Southern hospitality last year and like how much I kind of, you know, unpacked what happened at the end of the season and the reunion and all of that.
But it was extremely dramatic.
You know, you had Emmy fighting for her life with Will.
deciding to skip the reunion and then leaving the show afterward.
And then of course this big revelation at the reunion that Maddie Reese,
the boyfriend that she was with the first couple seasons of the show,
who she broke up with after he cheated on her,
never cheated on her.
And that she thought he cheated on her because other people in the group made up this lie
that he cheated and told her and made her believe it.
And so she was acting psycho for like two years
because she thought this guy was fucking around on her
and like ruining her life.
And it was all a lie.
Which is objectively a crazy thing to find out.
Because not only does Maddie have to look back and be like,
oh fuck, I was kind of a nightmare for a long time.
And I thought it was justified.
It turns out it wasn't.
But now she's with Joe Bradley and like, love me some Joe Bradley.
That's a handsome man.
But you're never now knowing that now.
It's like how do you avoid this like constant what if of like I was in this relationship that at the time felt really serious and I blew it up for something that wasn't real?
Crazy.
I mean, Joe Bradley also like how does he react to that?
it's a lot
it's a lot
but this season
I mean there's there's a lot
we pick up right where we left off there's a lot going on
Molly
Molly has been fired from Republic
and she comes back as a
customer as a patron and she and Michael's
getting a big fight right off the bat
Michaels isn't like my number one favorite
like I think he's
good on the show I think he's like
definitely a value ad for the group
but like I can't
I can't say that I'm the most invested in like him and Molly.
I'm like, okay.
This feels like second tier storyline to me.
But like important.
It's important for the new people to have their own things going on.
But also, can I just say, it pains me so bad to have to sit through another fucking vile files storyline.
Enough.
enough. I mean, the podcasts in general, all of it, but like, having to see fucking Nick Viall's face
shoved in my face again on my beloved Bravo network, enough. But anyway, the fallout is that after
the reunion last season where Will didn't show up, you know where Will did show up to the Vial
files. And so people are mad about stuff that he said on the podcast and also specific
that he gave like a different reason for skipping the reunion.
Like, like, Emmy said that he wasn't there because of his mental health.
And he was like, yeah, I just didn't go because I knew it was going to be a blood bath.
It's like, okay, but like, because of your mental health or like because it's just not fun to be called out for your bullshit.
Which is it?
Huh?
But no, Will is not on this season, but Emmy is happy to show off her big shiny engagement ring.
And I guess, like, congratulations to her.
or do we is that I don't yeah I don't know how I feel about that but emmy is um in the hot seat a little bit
especially in episode two this week um because as mattie and bradley are sort of working through
their issues especially in the wake of last season's reunion um you know they get into a big
screaming fight at tj's sir weiner's event um sir ween i got my hands on some of that merch
I want to try the weeners.
I think T.J. is very cute.
But anyway, big, big old fight at that party.
And I did appreciate that Maddie and Bradley actually sat down and actually spoke to each other.
Bradley clearly feels bad.
And he feels a little bit like, you know, let astray or whatever.
Because he says that after the reunion last year, Maddie was the one saying that she
she wanted to drop it and move on from this whole like Trevor cheating, not cheating thing.
And so Bradley now feels like Maddie is kind of bringing it back up and making it an issue again.
And she was the one that wanted to drop it in the first place, which, you know, I think that's a common symptom of, hey, we're back filming again.
The thing that I said when we were off camera that I forgave you for, I am going to have to use that as a storyline for the next six episodes.
Don't hate me.
We'll move past it.
But like, I can't just pretend it didn't happen when we have a show to film.
I think that's fair. But Bradley, um, Bradley has this other thing going on, which is that after the
reunion, Emmy was saying that Bradley was like stalking her outside her hotel room and that
she said, Emmy said that Bradley made her feel unsafe. Now, Maddie brings this up because she's
annoyed initially that Bradley was seemingly really worried about Emmy and didn't come check on her.
but Bradley's like, no, I wasn't worried about Emmy.
Emmy spread this thing that made me sound like a creep or a dangerous person, which is especially
an issue considering that I'm a black man.
And in this context, you saying that I made you feel unsafe or that I was stalking you
or whatever carries whole additional contexts on top of whatever that, you know, it's not a
flattering thing to say about anyone.
but Bradley is basically like now this is this is like an actual problem that needs to be
addressed because I can't be I can't have someone in my circle or pretend to be friends
with somebody who is is saying these potentially really damaging things about me
that could you know really cause problems and then also I also did get a kick so TJ at
the Surveeners event says that he and Maddie were never
really friends. And she has made a whole PowerPoint presentation collage of photos of them together.
Maddie always doing the most. I do appreciate it. But obviously, yeah, Maddie's just fully messed up
because she found out the whole reason that she broke up with Trevor was a lie.
There's a lot going on this season. Bradley knows he needs to confront Emmy about this unsafe comment.
And he does at his birthday party because he invites her at the last minute. He's like,
oh, I got to invite her and she's like upset that she got the last minute invite.
But also, Joe's conversation with Leva made me feel crazy because Joe, Joe has this idea that he has
like outgrown just being a host or server or whatever they call them at Republic.
And he wants to build his own thing and do his own thing.
And he's like, Leva, you know what?
I'm turning 30 this year.
and it's time for me to to build my own thing and I want you to be like a partner and all of this
and love is like um yeah so you're not currently showing up to the job that you have with me right now
so I'm not exactly like full of confidence in doing another bigger more special thing with you
and he went so Joe went on tour with Maddie I think she said she went to like
40 cities because, you know, the DJ economy is apparently booming and there's just like,
it's green pastures everywhere you look if you're a Bravo girly or boy and want to DJ,
apparently. So she went on a 40 city tour and Joe just left to go with her. And he said that he
went because Maddie has anxiety, which like, okay. But Love is like, right, but like you have to,
you have to have your own life and if you want to have this career with me, you can't just
be like disappearing for months. You actually need to show up and work. And he's like, well,
you know, I'm really hard to replace. So, uh, and she's like, bitch, we already replaced you.
He compares himself to Brad Pitt. He's like, yeah, if you have Brad Pitt in the movie and he doesn't
show up, you're not just going to replace Brad Pitt. It's like, I mean, T.P.H. They would.
How do you think like Glenn Powell gets called in for the job?
Because Brad Pitt backed out. I just think, just,
Joe, the way that Joe, like, speaks about himself and his, like, aura and all this stuff going on is almost, like, inspiring because of how delusional it feels.
Him saying he needs that, Leva's like, you have to have respect for, like, what we're doing and me and Lamar and the business and all of that.
And he's like, well, yeah, but I also need to feel that respect reciprocated, please.
I mean, obviously, like, your employer should be respectful in a, a, a.
way. Nobody wants to feel like they're just being like tossed around like a rag doll at work.
But it's like, bro, bro, come on. What are we, what are we doing here? I also, this new,
this new guy on Southern hospitality, Justin, he's like straight mostly, question mark, wink.
I don't know. He's like, I don't know what to do about him. Because he seems like the worst person
alive, but also, like, I mean, he says, it's fun to have a one-night stand, you know, clapped cheeks.
I'm like, stop it.
Put it away.
Not here.
Not in front of everyone.
I don't know.
He has a little crush on Mia.
At first, it doesn't seem like that's going to go anywhere because Mia is hoping to get engaged
in Hawaii.
But then we find out that she and her boyfriend Troy broke up because he doesn't want to
move to Charleston.
Tough break.
But anyway, we end at Bradley's birthday party.
You know, Brad is...
inviting Emmy at the last minute, obviously.
And Mia's mad at Maddie for assaulting her cardboard cutout at the Sir Wiener's event.
And, you know, just fighting about anything.
And then Mia crucially denies that she was aware about the Trevor cheating thing being a lie.
And, you know, Maddie says that Emmy showed her that she was in the group chat where they talked about it.
And Mia's like, I was not in that group chat.
And I don't know how they coordinated this when they were filming their confessionals.
but we see like Emmy sending a text in the group chat and then Mia receiving the text in said
group chat and then scrolling up and finding the message and be like, oh, well, I probably
wasn't like looking at it.
It's like, oh my God, smoking gun.
I mean, get your story straight, girl.
That's what you figure out before you start filming.
But anyway, yeah, we're two weeks into Southern hospitality.
I don't know if I did it justice, but man, this season is a roller coaster already.
I'm excited to see where it goes.
And, you know, they just are always operating at a level that I think doesn't get enough respect.
And, you know, Vanderpump Rules just came to an end.
And I can't say that I kept up with the full season.
But Southern hospitality is really where it's at.
If you want messy waiters, that's what you need to be watching.
We also got the Southern Charm finale this week.
You know, it's all right.
I don't think it was like the most explosive finale.
We start in Mexico.
They're still at dinner after this healing ceremony.
You know, Sally finally gets her, like, you know, tiny apology from Craig.
And she's, you know, fully flattered by it.
And it's just like, babe, the bar is in hell.
He's like, well, you know, I'm sorry.
I just like, sometimes people get involved in my business and I just can't process it.
But, like, I guess it's not the big video.
So I'm sorry.
And she's like, you know, I was so sad last night.
and like you should have come to my room with coffee this morning and apologized but also like
thank you so much for your apology it's like stand up enough even charlie is like girl that was not
a real apology come on but if it's good enough for sally i guess it can be good enough for me
because who the fuck cares i mean after that we immediately go back to charleston the trip is over
and we end at Patricia's Carolina Day party.
And Sally and Craig are talking about what happened with Charlie,
and Sally feels like she is hearing and picking up and intuiting.
You know, she's an empath, probably.
She's picking up on the fact that maybe there was more going on with Charlie and Craig
than she was led to believe by her good friend Charlie.
And so all of a sudden, she's real upset again.
and Craig and Charlie talk
and it's unclear like
in Mexico
Charlie was saying to Sally
that she now only sees Craig as a friend
it's over for her
the spark is gone whatever
after the way that Craig spoke to her
and I'm like wait
did they not have a conversation
about that between Mexico and Charleston
like were they not like
was Craig not trying to like
canoodle the whole time they were in Mexico
I don't know
but we see them talking
and she's like yeah the switch flipped for me
in Mexico and now I only see you as a friend
and he's like
I mean, come. Like, we're never just going to be friends. Come on. He says something that really makes
me feel weird, which is, he says he had a big enough crush on her that he would have picked her
over his ex, meaning Paige. And I'm like, but what is that? What does that mean? Because like,
Paige is somebody who was your partner, your, like, serious girlfriend for years. You were traveling
together spending time at each other's homes. You were in each other's lives. You were on each other's
TV shows for God's sake. And then it didn't work because of like long term, you know, questions.
Charlie is like a hot girl that you met a few months ago who you went on like two actual dates with and like
she was in your hot tub a bunch of times and was kind of like your love interest for the season. But like you
were never actually in a relationship and it seems like at the reunion there's, you know,
question marks about whether they were even ever like exclusive with the,
other. It's like, what are you talking about? You would have picked her over page.
Those options were never on the table at the same time. And those options are not like the same
option. It's like, oh, do you want to like wear this one outfit forever or wear this other
fun pair of shoes for an hour? It's like those aren't, it's not, it's not a, it's not like a
one to one comparison. But I'm, it's also just one of those things where even if I didn't have like
other issues with the way that Craig has handled himself this season.
It's little comments like that where it's like, why does he feel the need to like make that
one extra thing that can be even interpreted as a dig at Page?
Because he's done it a few times this season.
And I just think it's a weird look.
Because whether or not he feels, however he feels internally about the breakup with Page,
she didn't do anything to him.
It's not like, she didn't ruin his life.
She didn't cheat on him.
It's, it's, it just ended.
And at this point, it's several months since it ended.
It just feels like a weird, like, kind of like, you know, to use his word that he used
against Sally, it's like loser behavior to be like telling a woman that already no longer
likes you, who you were never actually in a relationship with that you would maybe
liked her more than your serious ex.
It's like, grow up.
But anyway, of course we have to get one final confrontation between Sally and Charlie because
Sally comes up to her and is like, so I heard that you were more into him than I thought than
you told me.
And first of all, it's like so funny because this confrontation is happening like in the hallway
of this like big house in Charleston.
And you know who's watching them?
It's Vanita, Leva and Corey Kiefer, like winter house, summer house Corey.
And it's like, what is going?
I feel like I'm in the twilight zone.
They're just like having it out in the middle of the hall.
And she's like, she's like, if I felt like Sal, and then Charlie, Charlie's trying to play it off.
She says, if I felt like Sally was seriously interested in Craig, I'd never have gone on the oyster date.
And she says that Sally was 1,000% supportive of her, like, hanging out with Craig.
And they're like, after that, they're like both side-dying each other.
because Sally's like, I mean, and Charlie's like, I mean, these two, I swear, it's like, are you friends or are you not?
Because the way that they have both handled this, but in this final episode, I got to say, I'm a little team Sally.
I'm a little team Sally because Sally's crying.
And this is after Charlie has just totally downplayed, oh, I never realized you were interested.
And Sally's bringing up this text that she sent to Charlie.
Charlie about having feelings for Craig.
She's like, oh, man, I wish, I really don't want to have feelings for him.
I'm like, blah, blah, blah.
And Sally's like sobbing and Charlie is just like so composed.
Again, it's a little, it's a little Deradara from Ladies of London.
Like, is there a spark of emotion?
Like, do you, how much do you actually care about this person?
I guess is what I'm trying to say.
Because then she says, she admits that deep down she knew how Sally was feeling about Craig
and she decided she wanted to do it anyway.
And so in that case, it's like, okay, then just be, then be honest that you don't care that
much about Sally.
Be honest.
Own it, baby.
Freckin own it.
But yeah, I kind of feel for Sally in that moment.
But then I feel for Sally less because the very end of the episode is her rehoming the chickens
that she got just to have something in common with Craig.
So, you know, we go up, we go down.
I'm excited for that reunion.
I feel like Southern Charm always puts on a show at their reunion.
I love that it's two parts.
I feel like that's just enough to, like, keep me wanting more.
Southern Charm, overall, a pretty watchable season, not their best, certainly not their
worst.
You know, hats off to, hats off to whatever.
I did love there was a clip that was going around of Andy on his radio show talking about
going to some event with John Mayer and Austin, Craig, and Shep were there.
and Andy was like asking John Mayer,
or Austin asked John Mayer, like,
what do you think of the three of us?
Like, what do you think of our vibe?
And John being like,
it's maybe the most chaotic energy I've been around.
Like, I don't understand your speech patterns.
I don't understand your rhythms.
Just like bewildering because that's, it's so real.

What's the difference between butter and butter made from real California dairy?
It's the real California farm families behind it.

Why?
because real matters.
So whether you're pouring milk,
melting of cheese,
or just grabbing one more spoonful of yogurt,
keep it real.

Okay, Summerhouse, don't hate me.
Kind of a boring episode.
I feel like the one thing I,
the one thing I kind of want to comment on
is the situation between Bailey and Ben?
Because I've seen people with strong opinions
on both sides.
And I got to say, I see both sides.
I'm a little, I'm leaning Bailey.
I'm leaning pro Bailey.
Also, it's just like, I don't want to pick the man.
I don't want to be on the side of the man.
But anyway, okay, so it's this weird situation where a couple times, I guess, I didn't
really clock it before this week, but Bailey has made, like, comments about Ben seemingly
like flirting with Amanda or wanting to sleep with Amanda.
It's just like weird, you know, because they went skinny dipping, whatever.
It's, it's, it's fun.
She's made the comments, sure.
And Ben is like, all of a sudden, pissed off because he's like, no, I think it's fucked up that she's saying that.
And it's like, okay.
And like, some of the other people are like, oh, I think she has a crush on him, maybe, whatever.
But so he goes into the bedroom and it's literally just her in the room.
And he goes into talk to her.
And he is like laying into her about these comments that she has.
made. And it really feels like he is like laying it on a little thick and really like
scolding her and trying to make her feel bad about these comments that she has made. And she is,
you know, she's apologetic. She's saying it was a joke. It was, you know, she clearly isn't like,
I'm going to keep making the comments. Like, it's not like she's receptive to what he's saying,
but it just feels like he's, he's really going in. And then.
And he's like, no, there has to be something more to it.
Like, why are you saying these things?
She's like, it was a joke.
It was a joke.
And he's like, no, there has to be something more.
I don't know.
It made me uncomfortable to watch.
And it clearly made her uncomfortable being on the receiving end of it.
She goes into the bathroom, starts crying.
I think it's, I think it would have been totally, totally fine for him to, to ask to chat with her, to say, hey,
I got to say when you've been making those comments, I don't love it.
It makes me feel uncomfortable.
I'd rather you didn't.
Please can you stop?
Just making sure are we good?
Is there anything, you know, is there anything between us that you want to, like, is there a reason?
You could have that conversation.
It's just like the edge that he was bringing to it and sort of the persistence of it.
It didn't sit right with me.
And I got to say out of all the.
Out of all the newbies, Ben is the one that I feel like I'm clicking with the least.
And so I do feel like after that scene, I'm a little bit like, Ben, you're, you got to clean it up.
I'm not loving the energy right now.
Yeah, I just like, West and Sierra getting flirty again, good for them.
Kyle being mad about Carl saying he didn't invest, good for them.
I don't know, whatever.
We'll talk about Summer House more next week.
And then Beverly Hills, you know, they're just living their best life over in Italy.
at Villa Bibiani, which I got to say, one of the best locations we've seen on a housewives trip.
I mean, that is luxury, truly.
Seeing Italian derit is such a balm to my spirit.
Un pocée.
Prisette.
Cintonic.
Camparizoda.
It just feels right.
It feels right.
And she, I mean, she speaks Italian well.
I've seen people post that clip on TikTok and they're like, as an Italian speaker.
Her accent's pretty good.
You can't argue with it.
No, it's a beautiful home.
Amanda and Dorit, though, they need to talk.
Also, there's this friend of Natalie who's just there.
I'm like, okay, what are we doing?
She's like a ghost.
A ghost in the edit.
Also, I did have to laugh in the aftermath, the wake of all of the drama about Timothy
Chalameh talking about the opera, that they're at Villa Biawiani,
and there's this opera performance.
that they sit down for.
And Bose says that she's on the board of the L.A. opera.
Jennifer Tilly is like, I love the opera.
And it looks bored out of her mind.
And Sutton says, don't hate me.
I fall asleep listening to opera.
You know, it's a spectrum.
Not everybody has to love it, but hey, support the arts.
Thanks, Bose.
But yeah, at dinner, it's time to have a talk, finally.
First of all, Kyle brings up seeing in page six that Derreet was at dinner with Pekay.
She's like, well, you know, I've really pulled back on who I'm discussing my situation with.
And Erica's like, well, you're going to give me the heads up?
Bitch, I'm here for you.
No, but so Rachel, Rachel brings up Amanda talking about Doreet and Pekh earlier in the season.
Because Amanda and Doreet have not seen each other since the dinner at Amanda's home,
which is like, what, six episodes ago?
It's been a minute.
And Amanda says that she feels like she had the same opinion about Doreet's situation as other people,
but for some reason Doreet is more mad at her.
And Doreet's like, well, I mean, I like just met you.
And also, when a friend is talking about you and there's all this stuff going on and they say
that they have your best interests at heart, it doesn't actually feel like they're worried about you.
It feels like they want the gossip.
And then Kathy Hilton drops in.
Kathy Loden I feel like is at a quiet season so far
She hasn't been around as much
She's just
Spitting bars because she goes
Well Amanda
Sometimes you need to read the room
And know your place
She went for the jugular
And that is what
It's so funny to me
Because I feel like
When Kathy first came on housewives a few seasons ago
It was very like
Oh ha ha ha silly Kathy
She needs her straws
and she, her big hats and, oh, she's so kooky.
And it's like, that's a part of her, but also,
Kathy Hilton can be a stone cold killer.
And so when she goes, read the room, know your place, boom.
I mean, enough said, truly.
But Amanda says that it was actually an informed opinion
because she's been around a lot of children of divorce
and she's seen how it affects them.
And it's like, enough.
Just drop it.
it. Just drop it. But Amanda asks, so, Doree, then what was your intention of going back 357 blog posts
about the cult? And Dorey's like, babe, I googled. She's like, well, it doesn't actually come up on
Google when you Google Amanda Francis cult. And Boz is like, yeah, it does. It's like, the idea that it would be
like nefarious to Google someone who's joining the show. It's like, that's child's play. That's how this
works. Kathy's like, I would do a deep dive. It's like, and I bet you have, as we all show. As we all
We should all know. We shouldn't know more about each other. If you're on Housewives this moment, you should know more about them.
No, but thankfully, Amanda gets into telling the cult story again. It is kind of funny. Like, Amanda, I don't, obviously, I don't want to downplay what Amanda went through. But it is funny. Like, when new people hear this story and it's been like hyped up to them, it's like, I left a cult. And she's like, I was in a church where they, you know, where I gave a lot of money to them. And then I left in the middle of the night. They're like,
Hmm. So you weren't like in chains or anything. You weren't like locked in a basement.
There were, you weren't, you didn't get like branded like nexium. I mean, Erica's bringing around,
bringing up, um, mother God where she's like that lady that turned silver and that she died and
they were driving around in the station wagon. Oh, it's like, Amanda just wasn't in like the,
the sexiest cult. She was in, she was in a, uh, an, an oppressive situation and she got out of it.
And, you know, good for her because now she's working on book number two, baby.
She's like, actually, Derreet coming for me all those times and stirring up the cult story
gave me the inspiration I needed.
I didn't know I needed a bat-shit crazy person to inspire me to write, but God delivered.
And so now she's writing her second book, Spiritual as Fuck.
Love to see it.
Girl, make that money.
make that money. I do like the chronicles of Amanda and Sutton rooming together. They were listening
to Taylor Swift when they got ready. Love to hear it. No, but the episode ends. The next morning,
Rachel wakes up to a text from her son about Roger, like, bringing around, telling him he has a
girlfriend, it's a whole thing. It's a cliffhanger. We'll get into it next week. That's where we're
going to leave for today. Oh, so many shows. We got through them all. We got through them all. Sorry.
I mean, like, technically. Oh, my God. Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.
