this past Sunday. If you can't tell, I'm a, I'm a wee bit under the weather, just a tad bit horse, got a little cough I'm trying to kick. Feeling okay, but you know, it's tough. Everybody's sweaty, everybody's tired, everybody, nobody wants to leave the house. Nobody wants to work these days. Get your fucking ass up and work. But no, we, uh, we don't have a lot to talk about on Bravo these days. We, of course, have a Real Housewives of Orange County premiere coming in just a couple days that I'm very excited to talk about, but not yet. We got a nice little clip this week from the beginning of the season premiere, the cold open, if you will, teasing Shannon's DUI issues and the other women's questioning of her drinking. You know, Shannon Bador really just continually having the worst time on Housewives year after year after year.

Has anybody ever been a bigger punching bag? But that's not happening yet. you know, we have Dubai tonight. I guess that'll be fun. There's a mid-season trailer. They're going to Bali. That's cool. But today, we're just kind of shooting the shit. We've got stuff happening outside of the housewives world. You know, I look online and it's, Julia Fox is a lesbian. Jipsy Rose Blanchard is pregnant. Maybe Toby McGuire is dating a 20-year-old at the white party in the Hamptons. But we're not going to talk about any of that because that's just not what we're here for. You know what we will talk about? Let's talk about Lindsay Hubbard because 4th of July comes on Thursday. You know, it's a hot one.

We were let in on the information last week that Summerhouse was going to be returning to filming the week of July 4th, as is, you know, as is tradition. And that the whole cast minus Danielle was going to be returning, including Lindsay, of course. And so Lindsay on the 4th of July pops onto Instagram at about 8 p.m. Eastern time. Really just an inspired bit of timing. And she posts a sponsored post with Clear Blue, revealing that she is going to be a mother. Now, this is something that had been, it had been rumored, you know, whispered about, kind of passed around for, what is it? it a couple months now, it's been a bit. Definitely since before the reunion aired. I personally, this is, this is my personal feeling. I do not care to speculate on pregnancy rumors, on pregnancy,

you know, whether someone looks pregnant, whether someone could be pregnant. I find it distasteful. If other people want to talk about it, it is what it is. I just, it's a line for me. But, you know, I certainly heard it. I certainly saw it. And I was certainly curious. and lo and behold, it's true. So Lindsay did announce that she is pregnant. I think her baby is due around the holidays, sometime like that. Posting the spawn on the 4th of July at 8 p.m. is really just, it's kind of perfect.

Because this is the kind of thing where normally if somebody dropped news like that at a, in the middle of a holiday, when everybody's out, you know, sitting by a pool or eating a hot dog or having a fourth margarita, you would think that this is news that somebody wants to bury or somebody wants, you know, it's kind of that like Friday 5 p.m. news dump where it's like, okay, everybody's headed out for the weekend. Nobody's going to care about this. But with Lindsay, it felt like really, you know, we're celebrating America's independence as long as that. that's going to last. And we're celebrating now a new era of Summerhouse. We're celebrating maturity and clarity of mind and body and spirit. And I am just so curious to see what Lindsay's

energy is going to be like this season of Summerhouse, knowing that she is, I believe, kind of just now wrapping up her first trimester, she is going to be pregnant for the whole season. And Lindsay could either have the most soft season she's ever had. You know, maybe that's what Carl was really wanting the whole time, just a little bit of tenderness and a little bit of softness. Or she could use this pregnancy to make everybody else's life a living hell. And I don't know, I don't know which route she's going to take. Because I feel like I could see her being like, look, I'm pregnant.

I got my wish. This is what I care about. Everybody else, have a fun summer. I'm just going to mind my own business and please just, I'm going to protect my peace and be in my love bubble with this man whose face you're not going to see, which we'll get to. Or Lindsay could play that pregnancy card every damn episode. She could say, Amanda, you're going to come from me when I'm pregnant. I'm literally growing a human inside me. And you're going to look at me sideways.

How about a little fucking respect for my unborn child for this gift of miracle of life inside of me? Look, I don't want to put words in Lindsay's mouth. I don't know if that's the tax she's going to take this season. But like, can't you see that happening? Can't you see that being the case? I don't know. It is interesting to me. So she has talked a little bit about this man that she's dating at the reunion.

She was gushing about him. We know now that she already knew she was pregnant at the reunion. She posted after the initial announcement, this carousel of photos of events and things she's gone to in the last few months since she found out she was pregnant, including a wedding in Mexico, a wedding in Italy, the reunion, magazine photo shoots, watch what happens live, what have you. Obviously, she has progressively been getting more pregnant. So, you know, when she was wearing that, like, stomach out dress at the reunion, it was like early enough that, whatever, I don't have to explain to you how, like, a pregnancy works. I don't think that's what I'm here for. But interestingly, in one of the wedding guest photos she posted in this carousel, it's a photo of her with the man's and he has a fucking brown heart emoji covering his face. Lindsay is really leaning into the idea that we are

not going to know about the father of her child. And I just, look, look, I respect everyone's right to privacy. I respect that, you know, not everybody wants to be in the public eye. And certainly, Lindsay is somebody that comes with a certain amount of scrutiny and history. And, you know, it's not saying that as a bad thing. But, like, she's been on a reality show for eight years, making a lot of sometimes questionable choices. Maybe this guy isn't ready for all of that. But I do kind of have to wonder, like, once you are thinking that this guy is going to be your forever, or at least he's going to be the father of your child forever, even if you don't stay together, like, people are going to find out who this guy is, if they haven't already. I haven't done a lot of digging. I'm sure somebody has a theory. But like, I understand if you are saying, oh, he's not going to come on the show or he's not going to be like on social media. But like, realistically,

how long until Lindsay and this guy are like going to catch on a Friday night and somebody snaps a picture of them and then it's on Reddit and then it's everywhere and suddenly it's like why are you putting an emoji on this guy's face he's just a man?

He's just a man. I hope for her sake that he's a great man but like what is the what is the end game here? I don't believe that we're never going to see a photo of this guy. I don't know. I'm spiraling about something that really doesn't matter.

But there's like another little side quest situation to do with this pregnancy announcement. And this is, I don't know if you guys had seen this rumor prior to Lindsay's announcement, but there was something going around where it was purported that Dorinda, who is on this season of Traders, that Lindsay was also supposed to be on this season of traders, and that Dorinda leaked to the trader's production, that Lindsay was pregnant, and then they, like, rescinded her invite to do this season of traders, and that it was, like, Dorinda's fault,

rumoredly, is rumoredly a word, allegedly? Purportedly, supposedly, that it was Derinda's fault that Lindsay was not going to be, on Traders this season. And then basically Derinda, like, ruined it for Lindsay. And I saw this a few weeks ago, and I'm like, LOL, okay, maybe. I don't know about that. But then Lindsay, after her pregnancy announced, seemingly confirmed this, commenting on an Instagram post about this rumor, saying, quote, this was awful, super disappointing and sad. So, Lindsay is basically confirming that Derinda had something to do with the production of the traitors,

knowing that she was pregnant, and her not being on this season. Of course, Sierra is going to be on this season, not Lindsay. I just, I don't know how to feel about this. Because the first time I heard this rumor, the reason I didn't think that much about it was because in my mind, I was like, there's no way she would have gotten away with being pregnant on this show and them not finding out and her being able to compete. Because I remember this past season, season two, I had Fadra on the podcast.

You might remember. If you haven't, you can go back and listen. And Fadra and I were talking about the physical requirements for the traders and how you have to go do a physical exam. You have to do an EKG. You have to pass a whole, you know, testing regimen. to prove that you are like not going to have a heart attack in the middle of Allen's fucking Navy SEAL mission. And so there's just, there's no way that a pregnant person would like

slip through the cracks of their examination and just not have any problems getting on traitors. And is it, is it messed up of Dorinda to maybe divulge private information that she knew about Lindsay? yeah, like I 100% believe that Dorinda would like speak out of turn and say something she shouldn't have. Like that part to me is not like shocking or even questionable. But I'm like, wait, do you really think that Derinda was the reason that you weren't able to be on the traders? And I thought it was really interesting to see Kate Chastain responded to a tweet about this situation. And this is what she had to say. Kate, of course, has been on traders twice, has had a baby in the last few years. and she said, honestly, it doesn't even matter if Durinda told producers.

There's an extremely thorough health exam and extensive testing you have to take before you can do the show, so producers would have found out anyways. Also, a pregnant woman shouldn't want to do those missions. I mean, she summed up everything that I was already thinking about this, and she's been on the show twice. So I feel confident that she kind of like understands the dynamics at play here. overall, look, I don't know if we're ever going to get more clarity about this situation of what role Dorinda actually played in this, but I do kind of feel like justice for Derinda a little bit. If Lindsay's really out here thinking that Derinda like ruined this peacock party for her, I just don't think that's really how it went down. But anyway, I'm very excited that Summerhouse

is back in production because Lord knows we need it. Speaking of social media drama, we've got to talk about this. Teresa and Larsa Photoshop situation from a few days ago. Oh my God. So Larsa turned 50. Larsa's a 50-year-old. It happened. She had a party.

I don't know if they filmed. God, I don't know what we're doing in Miami, but Teresa. Teresa posted this photo of her and Larsa, her friend Larsa, on the beach together, looking cute in their swimsuits. And from a mile away, you can tell that this is an extremely poorly photoshopped cut out, like cut and paste situation that Teresa and Larsa have been cut and pasted into this beach photo. And there's like fuzzy extra pixels. around the side of their legs.

The lighting's not exactly right. It's neither the background nor the photo of them are particularly high resolution. It just was, oh my God, it made me so thrilled to see this photo because, look, we are in an era of photo editing and face tuning and photo enhancing that is like, I feel it's gotten a little boring because there was a time back in the day where people would go, they would download FaceTune, they would play around in Photoshop, and they would go absolutely buck wild with their choices. You would see door frames that were fully just wavy from making your waist smaller. You would see people with those like, you know, on FaceTune. when you add, not that I would know. Like when you do a certain kind of like edit to the eyes, they kind of start to look like,

like robot eyes. Like there's like a like LED sensor coming from inside where the eyes just look a little bit like like there's like something is alive in there, but not human. I feel that people have gotten a little bit not, not that they're using Photoshop or FaceTune less than they used to. but I think that it's gotten a little bit more standardized, that it's like everybody now is kind of just applying this like, yes,

if I filter to themselves, and some are doing it more than others, like Meredith Marks, my love, a little heavy-handed with the filter. Nini leaks, I don't know what she looks like in real life anymore. But overall,

it's like everybody's kind of achieving the same effect. You know, last year, or last week we just saw Gina Keogh get absolutely bodied by her daughter on Instagram. She posted this photo of herself with a friend, Kara, Kara Kio, O-G-O-C back in the day, Kara Kio, has been giving her mom shit for like 18 years in public. And she just comments, take this down right now.

And she posted another, she posted the on-Fa-Tune version after, looking like a normal, well-aged, well-maintained 60-year-old woman. Like, I'm sure Gina Kio is. I don't know exactly how old she is. And it was just like the difference between these photos was so stark. And then you know what? Gina Keo did it again. She posted another FaceTune photo over the weekend.

It's like, Gina, baby, we just saw your real face three days ago because you got dragged out back by your daughter. You can't go from 100 to zero

immediately back to 100. Like you have to use like a feathery touch on those controls. You can't be like sitting on the knob. But anyway, this photo of Teresa and Larsa

was so refreshing in the way that it was so sloppily done, that it wasn't like, you know, I've seen Teresa and Larsa have done their fair share of face tuning. But this was like just a full Photoshop hack job, the likes of which I, people usually post these things as a joke. This is something that I would post for like to troll my friend for her birthday and be like, L.O.L. Us at the Great Wall of China. us at the Taj Mahal, like flat Stanley type of shit. But for Teresa to just post this with no kind of like wink,

I'd be like, happy birthday, Larsa, here we are at the beach. Oh my God. Of course, this got memed to death. People like photoshopping them on different backgrounds into like iconic housewife scenes, really just inspired stuff. But then what was so funny is that Teresa, for a brief time, turned off the comments on this post. And it's like, what do you want for my?

us. If you don't, if you can't handle the, the smoke, then turn off the barbecue pit. Babe, take it down. And what I love is that she, she turned off the comments. And then I think when she realized that people, that this was actually like a moment for her, like it's, people are like, oh, m.g, iconic. She turned back on the comments. And then I think she reposted or commented on some of the fan edits. Because it's like, at the end of the day, everybody just wants to go viral. If this was like an indistinguishable Photoshop of her in Larsa, nobody would have gave a shit. The like tree hugger accounts would have been like, yay, we love Tervisa, wishing Mother Larsa, happy birthday. But like, she wouldn't have gotten attention for it.

Speaking of things going viral and people getting attention, we also have to talk about. talk about the Bethany and Luann of it all and the Bryn of it all. Brin, not Bryn-Frankle, Bryn Hoppy. I'm like, what is, I'm like, what is that terrible man's last name? Okay, so everybody was in the Hamptons over the weekend, myself not included. That's not my, that's not my, not my journey. And the Bravo corner of the internet was lit the fuck up because Luann and

Bethany were posting photos together, videos together, a TikTok with the life as a cabaret, whatever, of Brin and Bethany at this party and they ran into Luann, and of course it was a whole thing. They also took a photo with Emma Roberts, which like love Emma Roberts out here just being like a normal housewives fan, just like the rest of us. But it was, it was so funny because the second I saw this, the second I saw it, I was like, L.O.L. Somebody wants attention.

And like, I don't mean to be so Debbie Downer. And I've had some people be like, why do you hate Bethany so much? Like, you're, you know, you're such a Bethany hater. And it's like, I don't even hate Bethany so much. I just, I think that Bethany is like extremely transparently, thirsty and like clout chacey. And like, I, I feel like I see. see through everything she does. And that doesn't mean that I hate everything she does. I just like,

I don't feel, I don't, like, there's nothing like charming about it to me. And so when I see her with Luann at this party in the Hamptons making content, I'm like, yeah, she's making content. This isn't a heart to heart where she's caught up with her old frenemy and patched things over. And lo and behold, Luan spoke to us weekly on Monday. And she said, that she's still blocked by Bethany on social media. And she said after watching Bethany's video and still being blocked by her on social media, I realize she just used her daughter to get to me. And she said that there wasn't a genuine reconnection and that she was really happy to see Bethany.

But soon after, she realized that it was disingenuous. And that to watch the video with Bryne, it hurt her feelings. And this is the thing. Like, look, I don't think that Luanne is like 100% innocent in this dynamic. I mean, the woman loves attention with the best of them. But, like, Bethany Frankel would take a photo at a party with a live smallpox virus if it would get her a headline on page six. As would Luann, as they should.

I mean, this is the world that they have come up in. You've got to do the thing to get the attention and to get the opportunities and to get the eyeballs. And certainly, Luanne and Bethany have been getting lots of eyeballs. lately. But it's just like, people were saying when this was posted, they were like, oh my God, like, this is why we need the old Roney back. Like we need, you know, I miss the girls and, and Bravo took this away from us. Look, I miss it too. I miss it too. It's okay. But this is like a false memory of what we would be getting back if we got, quote, the old Roney back. Because Bethany left the show and then it kept going and it got worse and that last season season 13 you didn't

like it and don't lie and say you did and then Ramona got canceled kinda derinda derinda's hard to watch on TV Carol's never coming back it's we got legacy it was okay there's no old Roney to go back to. The house got torn down. The house got got renovated. It's not there anymore the way that you remember it. Also, Bethany is still on this like wishy-washy crusade to bring down the fucking network. She's not going back to housewives in any form. If she did, it would have to be like a whole thing. And I don't think it would be worth it for Bravo at this point. Like, why would they want to play in that sandbox once she's like took a shit in it? I don't know. I mean, look, is it fun to see a photo of them together? Yes. Does it mean anything? Absolutely

not. Look, if anything, what it means is that maybe in like a month, we'll get Lou Anne on Bethany's podcast for like a three-part series and you'll have to, I don't know, subscribe on Patreon to hear the whole thing and whatever. I wish them both well. One last thing, the streets are talking about Atlanta and what's going to happen because we know that Kenya's not coming back. And according to Love Biscott, who oftentimes has solid tea when it comes to the Atlanta franchise, apparently Ms. Fadra Parks is in negotiations to return. That's right. Married to Medicine, I believe, is done filming for this season, so Fadra is not currently in production on a show. Atlanta has kind of been left in the lurch, to put it lightly. And I think a lot of us have wondered if Fadra could be kind of like the last-minute replacement

to come in and try to save the day, I would like to see it. Also, according to Love Biscott, Cynthia Bailey is filming, quote, more and more scenes for this upcoming season. She, of course, was set to come back as a friend of. Maybe she'll get bumped up. I don't know. I mean, time will tell on what happens with Atlanta, but they got to do something. And I think that talking to Fadra, at least trying to get something over the finish line, it's, what else can they do? It just makes sense. But with that, that's all we got for today.
