Mention It All
A Bravo by Betches podcast
We don't say that
But now we said it
With me, Dylan Hafer
We're going to check me both
Hey everyone
Welcome back to the mention and all podcast
I am always happy to be joined
By my summer house ladies in the studio
And today I have two of them here
Lindsay and Gabby returning to the show
Welcome back season nine
Hi
Oh my God
Can you believe it
I can't
you so Lindsay of course season nine for you
Gabby season three you guys you've been around the block and back now
what is it like this season so far we're like four four weeks in
yeah four weeks in
I mean yeah it's just I mean we were talking earlier it's like a different season
I'm pregnant and I've now have a baby on like real life human
to take care of but over the summer I was pregnant
So that's new.
Definitely new.
First pregnant person in the house.
I feel like it's fitting that you were the first.
Yeah, but it was fun.
Like I...
She was a lot of fun.
I think it was like just different because all the dynamics changed.
I didn't think it was even possible.
How do we like keep doing this where you're like, oh my God, like it's going to be boring?
And then you're like, okay, that's not boring.
Yeah, it's like Madonna.
We reinvent ourselves.
Yeah.
Come back.
Like we're in like...
They come back kids.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Well, it's interesting because I'm,
I mean, the way that your show is structured, it is taking place at the same chunk of the calendar every year.
And so, I mean, some of the other shows, it really can move around based on casting and who's, you know, what they're trying to follow.
But with you guys, it is kind of this yearly snapshot of these few months.
And so, like, a lot of stuff can happen in between.
But then it's like, come July, we're going to be right back where we started and things have changed.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And it's hard to capture that, right?
Like, you know, they, I always personally, but maybe this is just me, I always try to take a lot of, like, videos of big life moments that, you know, they might want to use because, yeah, summertime. It's called summer house.
Yeah.
You know, but we do have, like, we do live our lives in every other season.
Yeah. You want to give them that little, like, B-roll that they can show it. It's like, Lindsay's, whatever.
I mean, there's this new thing where we pick cameras up and we start filming when big life moments happen.
So there's that too.
Yeah, you never know when they're going to come knocking.
Well, you never know when drama's about to go down.
I remember it was so funny with you, congratulations, by the way.
Thank you.
You're a mother now.
I'm a mother.
When you were like, when you were those final like days and weeks and you would just
post on your Instagram story like, still pregnant, thanks for asking.
Still pregnant.
Yeah, I was like, okay.
Everyone was getting so annoyed with me being pregnant
And they were just like,
can you please have your kid already?
And I'm just like, bitch, I'm also fucking annoyed with me being pregnant.
And here we are.
Summer House is airing.
And I'm like, psych, I'm pregnant again.
You're like, yeah, I actually would love to be done with this as well.
Truly.
I'm like, remember how you guys got so annoyed with me being pregnant?
You couldn't wait for me to have this kid.
Well, guess what?
I'm pregnant again.
I wanted to share
So there was some news last week
Love reality TV
So some numbers have come in
From your season 9 premiere
It's your most watched
Season premiere ever
Do you think it's because my kid was in there
It's drama
It's in the sauce
I don't know
What do you think that's for it was a speech
It was a 14%
The one 45 minutes speech I gave
Which by the
why was edited down.
Well, they gave you, I don't know, there's like this edit that they've given, like
Doreet gets it sometimes because she can be very long-winded.
They really, it's an art form of really like condensing down, overlapping, giving you that
edit.
I think it's a great thing.
I mean, it was very, you were very verbose.
I was like, we're going to go through a whole relationship history and we had gone out
earlier that day.
It was worth it.
And she's like, I have this idea.
She was like, I'm going to run it by you.
she wrote it down and I was like, we have to edit this.
I was like, there's no way that you can go on.
What was the process of the giant sonogram that was hung over the mantle?
Like, was that like a FedEx office order?
No, like I legit ordered it from a printing company, but they forgot that I ordered it on like a hard foam board.
And so when it showed up, rolled up in a little like cardboard canister.
I was like, fuck, this is not what I ordered.
So Turner had to go to Target and, like, get a foam board and, like, special glue and, like, one of those little cutters that, like, slice.
Yeah, an exacto cutter.
And he actually glued it all together for me.
Well, what is a man for, if not for the arts and crafts?
Truly.
Yeah.
The handy.
Chores.
Handy.
I was like, help.
I'm packing.
We have to go to the summer house.
And he was like, I'll go to Target.
How many poster boards have you taped down for me?
Yeah, literally.
It was like the Sheena Shea of like putting up a TV.
Like he did it in under six minutes.
Did you know from the jump that you were going to do that night one?
Like you kind of just had to get it out of the way.
Yeah, there was no way.
No way.
I could have survived past one night with like I can only like fake drink for so long before people are having.
hide the bump is like the thing. Yeah. Yeah. I was also like tremendously showing. Yeah. It's. It was insane. There was no way I could have lasted past night one. She told me like a week before. And when I saw her when we like drove out together, I was like, you can't hide this. Like who are you going to fool? Like this is insane. It weirdly popped. And she's like in. She's like if I suck in. And when she did suck in, I was like, that's can't be comfortable. Yeah. Well, I feel like there's so much else going on when you're.
in the house making a show like this.
It's like, you don't want to be like, oh my God, can anyone see?
Like, can I?
No.
Well, what's crazy is I thought I was huge.
Yeah.
And then you're watching back and you're like, oh, that?
I was like, oh, that little thing.
So good, so good.

It's time for a trip to Ross
Work your magic
Okay wait what were you
You were talking about ratings
Tell us more
Tell us more about how we're the best show on Bravo
So you had season nine
Your Most Watched season premiere ever
With over 1.6 million viewers in the first week
It's a 14% increase
over last season.
Oh.
What is it like thinking that you not only have people stuck with you guys for this long,
but you're bringing new people in every year.
It's more popular than ever.
Yeah.
I mean, it's incredible.
I hope that that's how it always goes.
Yeah.
Like, once you plateau, you're in trouble.
Yeah.
So this is great news.
And, like, I feel like most shows, you know, really struggle to hear this kind of news and ratings
at a season nine and we're trending up yeah we're setting we're setting the standard no I think it's
great I mean I can't think of a show that I've been like invested in for nine years that comes on like
once a year that has the same consistent cast I don't know what I mean Grey's Anatomy maybe I
fell off though I don't know what else yeah I think it I mean it speaks to obviously you guys and the
the show that you're creating and your crew is creating and everyone but
also like the the Bravo fans really I think just like you're at that status where it's like people
aren't going away like people aren't tuning out they they you guys are this kind of like
family friend group that every week every year you need to check back in with and I think
not everybody kind of achieves that status I think it's it's cool to know that you guys have
well I think it's also like a a different formula right like you have like the housewise formula
then you have like, I don't know, like all the competition love show formulas.
And then you have sort of this gray area of younger, you know, we have the summer house,
Southern charm, Vaynerpump Rules, Southern hospitality.
Like, then we are in this other formula.
And like even so my baby nurse, I got her like really into reality TV recently.
She went hard in.
Oh, like hard in the paint, right?
So, like, of course, like, I'm watching all these shows to catch up in case I'm asked and also to support my friends, right?
So I had her watching Southern Charm.
I had her watching the New York Housewives and the reunion.
I had her watching Love is Blind, Traders, Summer House.
And she was just like, you guys, you just have.
the best child. She's like, you have so much fun and it's real. And I'm like, yeah, that's what I'm
talking about. You got to get that outside opinion. You know, you got to. Yeah. From my baby nurse.
I also think it's like, to your point, too, that you made earlier. I think it's like, because we're doing
the same thing every single year, but like we're not the same people every single year. So I think that
people want to check in and be like, who are they now and like whether relationships like now? Because
it does change. And, you know, in the off season, we do see each other, but, like, obviously,
it's different than living together every single weekend. So I think that it's, there's
something to be said about, like, checking in and wanting to see what people's relationships
and interactions are out of, like, the other 10 months of a year that we're not filming.
Yeah. Other things happen, but, like, you don't get to see it. But that's obviously
going to change our interactions with each other, you know?
I'm curious for you now in your third season. Obviously, Lindsay, you've had, like, major life
changes over the time you've been on this show?
No.
It's 10 years of your life.
For you in three years, like, what are maybe, if there are more like subtle ways that
you've shifted your approach to it or kind of how you feel like you've like settled
in?
Because I feel like three years is kind of when you hit that mark of like you're not new anymore.
Yeah, 100%.
And I did, I think I felt like this summer, at least for me, like I had a lot of other stuff
going on that I
told you about and maybe other
specific people about, but I didn't
share it openly because
I didn't really know what was going on.
And so I think that
when that happens with me,
I like lock up and I don't
you know, I'm not like an emotional person.
I hate emotions and like that's not
like what I do. But it's true.
I can confirm that.
I hate it. She cries once a year.
And that time has come already.
I cried money held
Gemma for the first time.
But, like, I do think that it's a thing for me.
And so I think this year was kind of, like, hitting me a little bit harder, whereas, like,
people are not going to understand what's going on.
But I had such reluctance to, like, share, you know?
And so...
She could have been more vulnerable.
I could have.
But, like, that's also a massive struggle for me in general.
It's hard for most people.
It's cute.
You put a camera on someone's face, like, you know.
But even without a camera, like, I'm not very forthcoming with...
emotions at all.
That's true.
I have to squeeze me.
Yeah.
Do you think that that's something like over the three years that you've been on the show,
do you think like your feelings around sharing things have changed at all?
Because obviously you get used to like the physical presence of the cameras and stuff like that.
I do think that like it's not necessarily about it being shown because I had a full mental
breakdown on camera on my second season.
I was crying in a shower for.
Also, it was like an hour and a half ordeal.
I think that no one saw like the full extent of it.
I was on the phone with my sister.
They should have timelines.
They should have time set.
The dereat edit there.
Yeah.
On the phone with my sister,
she like literally has her phone on all the time
because she thinks that I'm going to call her like hysterical crying from some
other situation.
But after that,
it's not like necessarily about the cameras that I'm like,
I'm like,
I'm not very forthcoming with emotions to begin with.
I'm very like locked up.
2025 is her year.
We're trying something different.
We've got a new therapist.
She's going to be more vulnerable this year.
We're going to try something different and see how that works out.
Because obviously, I mean, look at her heels.
She's already putting herself out there.
I wore these.
Some incredible she is.
I don't know.
I wore these in the brain.
How much more vulnerable can you get?
Good sleep is everything.

How are you feeling now, now that you have a child, watching this season back being pregnant and obviously dealing with emotions and, you know, whatever, how is that for you kind of reliving that specific part of your journey?
I'm so happy that I have that part of my journey documented.
Yeah.
Like it is so special, like especially like watching.
my daughter and then looking at like me pregnant with her is really special for me.
You know, it's, it's been such a blessing, you know, like going through this entire process
of being pregnant and then childbirth and labor delivery and now like just having her now
three months.
But it's, I, it's just so fun.
It was so fun.
It was such a fun summer being pregnant.
Like, I know.
like adapted to.
Pregnancy is like hard for people.
I was very lucky and blessed to like have an easy pregnancy.
So to the point where like filming was really fun to go through that.
You can feel that, I think.
In these first few episodes like obviously once you once you get the announcement done
in the first episode like it does feel like everyone in the house like Paige and Evanda
and everyone feel like there is this kind of lightness about like, oh, it's like our baby.
like
Yeah.
It felt like the house baby.
Yeah.
I felt extremely supported all summer long,
especially by the girls.
Um,
but also the guys.
Like weirdly,
like Wes's mom is an OBGYN.
Oh,
okay.
And so like he became my secondary OB through his mom on the weekends.
We were like,
how damaging is like this music level for baby?
Yeah.
You're like,
can you talk Kyle to shut the fuck up?
Yeah.
Or like,
literally.
In an activity,
I was like,
Can you text your mom?
And, like, you know, he would even do it proactively.
And he checks in on me all the time now.
Yeah.
But, no, I really truly feel like it was like a group.
There was just a lot of fun things that we could do that I did orchestrate, you know, like the gender reveal.
Yeah.
And then I did, yeah, I did more things throughout the summer.
I'm wondering, like, if you take yourself back to, like, before you found out that you were pregnant, obviously, like, things.
like thinking about the season coming up, like post you and Carl's breakup, like, what was your
kind of thought process about what you thought this season was going to be if you both came back?
And then kind of how did finding out that you were pregnant sort of shift that outlook?
I don't think I thought about, oh, what's this season going to look like with me and Carl?
I don't think I thought about that before I got pregnant because I got pregnant really quick.
once my boyfriend and I started dating.
So we don't, you know,
you don't really start thinking about the next season
until you're-
You had reunion to get through.
Yeah, literally.
You're just trying to get through that season.
And if you remember, like last season,
was when Carl and I broke up at the end of the season.
So I was like having to relive that trauma,
you know, of last season, rewatching it
and get through that.
I'm not thinking about what's going to happen next summer.
And then I wound up, you know, starting to date my boyfriend and then dating him and then getting
pregnant and then being like, okay, well.
You're like, suddenly you've got bigger fish to fry.
Yeah.
I was like, I don't know about that other guy, but we got some stuff going on.
Yeah.
So I don't know.
I didn't think about it.
Yeah.
I'm curious, like people, you know, in the house and, of course, people on social media
and stuff are going to have opinions about your, you know, timeline with everything and, oh, it feels fast and all of this.
And like, okay, let me ask you a question.
How do you slow down getting pregnant?
That's a good question.
Well, you, yeah.
Okay.
Well, yeah, you could be on birth control.
It's something I've never done.
I'm like, just safe sex.
Never done.
Yeah.
I operated the same as I has.
I operate.
the same as I always have.
Yeah. You didn't do anything different. No. It's not like you were trying to get pregnant.
Yeah. No. I was not, that was not the goal. That wasn't the plan, but it happened. And then what do you do? You either what? You either have it or get an abortion. Yeah. I'm not getting an abortion. So you can't really slow it down. So for anyone who has an opinion, like, this was what the universe wanted. Yeah. And like, if you think about it, I was with Carl for two years. Never had a scare. Never.
got pregnant, operated in the same, what do you call that, strategy?
The chances should have been the same, let's say.
Yeah.
For two years with that guy.
So, and then, you know, then I start dating a new guy and I was with him for two months
and the universe clearly wanted me to get pregnant with him.
So coming into this season, though, like thinking about in the premiere, say, like,
Sierra's asking kind of about, like, okay, who's we?
Like what's the timeline?
Like do you, are you able to think of like, okay, there's a difference between somebody digging around and being shady and somebody like genuinely just wanting to make sure that Lindsay's good?
Yeah, I think she just genuinely wanted to know because she, you know, keep in mind she had been in Scotland filming traitors.
Like she didn't necessarily, I mean, no one really knew because I had not announced it until that day.
but the rumors were swirling
when she was in Scotland.
So I don't know, I think everyone's curious, right?
Like, who is this guy?
Like, you know, where did you meet him?
How did this come to be?
I think it's just a normal, genuine question.
Like, if Gabby came to me and was like, hey, I'm pregnant,
I'd be like, okay.
And where is he?
So who's the guy?
How did me?
100%.
I would ask the same thing, like, in a very genuine way.
Like, you know.
Yeah.
You mentioned on this week's episode that you, it is a little weird for you to be dating someone so private that that's just not the experience you've had, you know, in recent years at least.
Like, I think that's a good thing to sort of acknowledge, yeah.
A long amount of years.
Like, even before the show existed, like I, you know, I dated as celebrity chef.
I, you know, I myself was kind of like.
very notably in page six often weekly
before summer house
because I worked in the industry
I was a hospitality publicist in page six back in the day
used to write a lot about
hospitality people
me being one of them especially
because I dated a chef back in the day
who was also in hospitality
I'm 100% looking at these articles
I feel like 10 years ago that was like page 6
catnip
Yeah, like Getty Images.
If you search me on Getty Images, it's like photo after photo way before.
What do you think I'm doing tonight?
I'm literally, thank you.
One of my favorite things is to look up somebody's name in Getty Images and sort
oldest to newest.
Oh.
And you can find some.
That's diabolical.
I've done this for like New Jersey Housewives.
Oh, do it for me.
See what happens.
If you look up Kyle Richards, there's like photos of her from when she was a child because she was like a child star.
Oh, yeah.
No, literally.
It's so fun.
There's photos of me from when I was 21 years old on.
on Getty. I'm 38.
Jump scare.
I search my oldest and new as though.
I can't wait to show Gemma. I'm so excited.
But yeah, like, okay, here's, so here's the thing.
Like, it is definitely a very different experience for me.
Yeah. Yeah. Because I have either dated, last guy was Carl.
There was an Austin in there. Like, I've, I've dabbled, clearly dabbled in the reality
TV realm. I dated a guy at one point who I was worried about his intentions and he was dating me for the wrong reasons of social climbing and cloud chasing and, you know, what fame.
You know, then I wound up with a guy in finance and in New York, you guys in finance, like they, they just cannot film. They cannot be like they sign these non-publicity closet.
and it's just a thing.
Like they work for a financial institution
and the reputation is everything.
So they cannot do any media whatsoever.
So here I am with a dude in fucking finance
where I'm just like,
finally a guy with a job.
You know, like, this is what I've always wanted.
And then he's like, people, I will not participate in your show.
And I'm like, what?
But I kind of like, I just got to be.
like a little bit of a balance, right? Yeah.
And somehow I wind up like on the opposite end of the spectrum from the last guy. And I'm like,
okay, well, you can't get more opposite than that? Suddenly you're like, can I say your first name?
Yeah. Yeah, I'm like, literally. No, like Gabby, Kyle, Amanda, everyone who had met Turner was like,
are we allowed to say his name? Are we not? And I was just like, yes, just say it. Like I can't,
we can't live our lives like this. We got to just like this. But I also feel like,
Like you even before the show are just like used to sharing things publicly and like being
very open about things and like, yeah, I'm an open book.
He's not like that's not his natural inclination.
Right.
So I think that also is like the contrast.
Yeah.
He's not naturally like being like, like I'm going to like talk about this with people.
It's very like he has a close circle and like that's fine.
But it's definitely a different thing.
Yeah.
I'm like an open book.
And even still like even on.
Instagram when we're not filming the show.
Like I love sharing my life.
Like it brings me true joy.
Yeah.
To share my life because I find such a support system with women on Instagram.
It's so wild.
Like I'm in my messaging message section DMs all the time.
You are?
Yeah, because like I just, well, like you go through so much in like pregnancy and like, you know, having a baby.
and like I'm like, am I doing this right?
What's going on?
Like, how do I, what should I do?
Like, how do I induce my child?
Like, remember?
I was texting her because I like saw her the due date and I was like, hey, what's going on?
And she's like still pregnant.
I was like, what's up?
I think it's nice, though, that you feel like you can find that like support and community, though,
because sometimes social media can be such a toxic thing.
Oh, there's definitely toxic people on there.
I just, like.
You can't do nine seasons on a reality show and have personnel.
and people not take issue with that, you know, like it's...
Oh, I'm not for everyone.
Yeah.
For sure.
I'm definitely not everyone's cup of tea.
But guess what?
Those people are not my cup of tea either.
Yeah.
I'm like, listen.
Beech.
Bobby Joe from fucking Oklahoma, you are not my person either.
Fucky.
I don't know.
There's a Bobby Joe from Oklahoma.
You know there is.
And if they are, in Lindsay fan, we are sorry.
We love that for you.
I love you.
I'm wondering, so like this season, obviously, I think people were expecting you and Carl to be kind of like the biggest issue in the house.
And then watching those first couple episodes, I'm like, oh, they seem fine.
What's going on with Weston Sierra?
That was, it was touchy off the bat.
Did you kind of like know that that Sierra was kind of in that place coming into the season?
I know she had been filming traitors and stuff,
so she maybe hadn't been super, like, around right before you guys filmed.
We're all kind of, like, taking our last minute trips before, you know, going into filming.
Like, we treat, like, the beginning of filming the same as we treat the end of filming.
We're all gone and on vacation and, you know, so.
But I will say, I don't know from her personally telling me that she had an issue with West.
but I do know how we ended the reunion
and the history of Sierra
holding a grudge against a man.
Yeah.
I know those two things.
So one can deduce from that
that she's going to walk in the house
with an issue with West.
100%.
And I will say,
I think that West
didn't do himself any favors.
He didn't do himself any favors.
Yeah.
He really didn't.
And like that's fine,
but it's also like you have to be prepared
for
the retaliation of that, you know what I mean?
Well, yeah, it was tough because at the reunion, obviously,
it felt like he was a little just like didn't realize what that was going to be.
No.
But then it was kind of like coming into the house for the season.
He was sweating back.
Yeah.
It was like, I never.
And then at that same dinner, you're like, what is why?
Right.
It's like you didn't, you didn't fix the problem at the reunion.
So you should assume that the problem still exists.
I tried.
I was just like, I was literally, I was like, look.
At the end of the day, whether you agree or don't agree, you hurt her feelings,
apologize for hurting her feelings.
And like, I was like, come on, man.
Yeah, I was actually like next to Jessie.
I was like, outlawing Jesse, me like, say something.
Like, come on.
Like, your man is getting flayed.
Like, say, like, be like, hey, man, just like.
Jesse, I think was focused on someone else at those first couple dinners.
Yeah, Jesse was just like rose-colored glasses.
Yeah.
He was like, what's happening?
It is kind of crazy to watch Jesse and Lexi in the first few episodes of this season.
I'm like, wow, we are really, we're laying it on thick.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But I moved too fast.
Oh.
Was that crazy or?
No, it was very funny.
Oh, okay.
Good.
Tushay.
Tushay.
Listen.
No, Jesse had a lot of eyeballs when I announced my pregnancy.
But yet this motherfucker is going out there being like, I mean,
I'm in love. I'm in a relationship. I'm not single anymore.
The moment that got me was when Carl first came into the house and like bumped into
Jesse and Lexi in the kitchen, Jesse introduces Lexi as the love of my life.
This is what night two?
Literally. Literally. Less than 12 hours. Yeah. Less than 12 hours.
That's what we're doing here. But here's a thing that I think Jesse and like a lot of men in general need to like learn from is like your words have
weight and so you can't just be like throwing that stuff around and expect that it's going to be
like inconsequential to people.
Well, I feel like also like Lexi's new.
She just got here.
She's trying to get a lay of the land.
Yeah.
She's trying to like understand, you know, it's hard as like a new person.
And then you are like, okay, now I'm getting swept in this direction by this guy.
Is that normal?
Is it not normal?
But I wanted, okay, you know, she's probably just confused.
Very.
Well, I think you, I mean, you've come into this show as a new person.
It's, you don't want to feel like 100% of your energy is only going into one relationship that may or may not be lasting, you know?
Like, you want to be meeting everyone and getting to know everyone.
I think that from my point of view, I think that they were like very much together.
Like, I didn't really see like Lexi outside of Jesse except like in the.
mornings when we were like and he wasn't awake yet or he was like taking a shower or something.
Like I literally, I didn't see that in the first couple weekends. They were like very much like
attached at the hip and I was like, okay, can we have like some girl time? Yeah, I think it's on
this show and in this group like the the friendships between the women I think are really central.
And so it's like not everybody, it's not that all the women are always getting along perfectly
with each other. You don't say. But that it's like you have to kind of be putting into that.
group to sort of get the
benefit of it. Like I think it
can be a really powerful thing
when everybody's like there for each other.
It is. I also think that
this season, as well as last season, I think the last season was like
the start of it. But I think
this season too, especially with like you being
pregnant, it was like all the girls were just like
okay, like we're in our
we've maturated to like a different
level, you know? Like she's
having a baby but we're all having a baby and we're all having
like different conversations. Like the
stuff. And granted, I wasn't really there for what happened prior, but it just seemed, it seemed
trivial and like it didn't really matter anymore. Yeah, all of a sudden, there was like something
bigger at play. Yeah. Yeah. I kind of felt that too in this week's episode with Kyle and Page's
issues, like some of it going all the way back to when Hannah was on the show and the stuff with Craig.
It just, it felt like something where it was kind of like, really, this is what we're so hyped up
about. This is what we're rage texting about, like this Spritz thing. Like, I mean, obviously, I,
They understand that for Kyle it's his business and it's all of this.
But it's like there are certain moments where it's just like, is it that deep?
It can't be.
Kyle's a very passionate man.
Very passionate.
He's a Leo.
I understand Leo's.
A Leo man.
Like very explosive, very reactionary.
Very like emotions first.
Think later.
And that's great because he, I also think that I think that's a good thing because a lot of men are like, you know, cloaked up.
I mean, how much did we say this summer?
we were like Jesse and West
like they hate the drama
so much that they would just like
clinically like walk
you know not really say anything right
like at least
Kyle like makes good TV
well also Carl too for that extent
like if something is like
stop don't do that but like if something
is bothering both Kyle or Carl
they'll like say it they'll like be like hey
like this is an issue like I'm not
down with this and like I mean
I mean, we don't always agree, but people's opinions are their opinions.
You don't have to agree with them.
Yeah.
I just want to touch on that.
You had a little moment on Instagram last week.
I think West went on Jason Tardix podcast and said that you would obviously not be returning for season 10 because what would you do with the baby and he's not going to babysit?
And you said that you did more than West in your sleep this season.
Correct.
I stand by it.
And also I reminded West that he got here because of me.
Okay.
So we had a nice little chat that day.
So you've spoken to him about that?
Yeah, he called me like five times in a row.
And I finally answered.
See, because he says this shit and then he panics.
And then he's like, I just, uh, I just, uh, yeah.
I'm like, what are you going to learn, my man?
Maybe season, maybe season 10.
Yeah.
I'm like, dude, like, you can't go around.
You can.
I was like, and I told him, I was like, look.
here's the problem that I have with this statement.
Not that I brought you
onto this show and gave you a job.
That's not even the problem that I'm having here.
But you should remind yourself of that.
The problem I'm having is I just became a mother
and this is my job.
And I need to be a provider for my daughter.
And you going around being like,
there's no way.
It's not really helpful and it's actually really hurtful.
Right.
I thought we were friends and I'm trying to be financially independent and provide for my daughter.
And you're you saying there's no way is really fucked up.
Yeah.
I think it's it's one thing to raise the question of what would that look like because it is something new.
Well, he could have also been like, oh, God, I really hope so.
Right.
Or, you know, I'm here because of her.
I hope they can work it out.
Like, I'm here because of her.
So I hope they feel.
figure out a way to like include her despite the fact that she has a daughter or like i can't
imagine what like summer house would look like without anything say anything besides there's no
way trust and believe you're not trying to ask him to babysit yeah also and like i do yeah by the way
i don't think i'm asking you're you're actually the last on the list i think i'm on the last on the
list but that's okay i do yeah i i i'm very curious what season 10 will look like and i don't i don't
knows, including West at this point.
No, Wes is lucky if he has a job in season 10.
Okay.
I told him that over summer, too.
Literally, whatever, I'm not even going to get into it.
I had to have many talks with him where I was just like, you need to fucking do something.
Kyle got mad at him too.
Like, you're here to like do something.
If you don't want to do something, stay at home.
If you don't want to do something, stay at home.
There we go.
So again.
Season nine.
And what did I do?
More in my sleep.
Actually, I love West.
He really is like, he really has like checked in on me so much.
I give him so much shit.
Like that's like a big sister, but.
This is like being activated for fun.
This isn't like being activated to like ruin someone's life.
Right.
He had like a slight trauma where he like clamped up kind of situation.
Like, you know, he'll, he needs to get like shaken loose of it.
It's fine.
It'll be fine.
No, he was appreciative that I answered.
phone and hashed it out with him.
But I had to like get in, you know, if you want to publicly say something, like, what is
what these guys publicly doing things and then expecting people to not publicly respond?
And I'm just like, okay, then shut your fucking mouth.
And I won't fucking say anything.
Yeah, it's a two-way street.
You know, but if you want to go, let's fucking have a media war.
I'm down.
I am so down for a media war with West Wilson.
She's like, I have nothing to do but take care of my daughter and fight with you online.
you all day long.
I'm a stay at home mom.
Except for when I'm working all the time.
Which is a lot.
You're like, if you catch me during nap time, I'm going to pop off.
Yeah.
No, he actually caught me.
He actually caught me when I was in the chair going into confessionals.
And then I turned my phone off so he couldn't get a hold of me.
You're like, sorry, I have to talk about you on camera for the next hour.
I was like, sucker.
I was like, let me just jump this one bomb real quick.
and then turn my phone off so we can't get a hold of me.
I'm loving the energy between you two.
I feel like, I mean, we see it on the show too,
but I feel like you guys really have a great dynamic.
And I love that you're like there for each other in this way.
Do you think like in the last episode,
they'll change my new title from influencer to mother?
Mom talk.
I just recently clocked that you're influencer now on the show.
I did too.
And the only reason is because Austin Kroll screenshot it and sent it to me.
And he was like, no.
they gave you the influencer title
and I was like
well damn
I didn't even know
I didn't even know that they did that
I actually never even clocked that
Do you know what yours is?
No what is it?
I don't know
I'm like what's my job title
I thought it was funny for the longest time
it might still be Ceras was nurse slash model
and I was like I just love that it's so
so specific
she is a nurse slash model
but I'm not for like
oh interesting
do you think they'll change mine
like when I have the baby
and it'll say mother
but is that like patronizing?
Like I don't know.
That's a hard job.
It's a hard job but it's like you also do you.
That's not your career.
Well neither is influencing but it is though.
You know like I have like a lot of hats these days.
Yeah you've got your.
They should be straight up just be like Summerhouse Star
slash influencer.
I don't think slash mother.
Slash jimma's mom.
I think anybody watching the show at this point
takes those job titles very loosely.
Yeah.
They should just call me slasher.
I need to know what they call me.
I don't know.
I also want to know what they call everyone else.
Yeah, what is everyone else's titles?
I know Pages now is podcast host.
Okay.
Which makes sense.
Yeah.
I don't know.
What's Kyle entrepreneur?
Probably.
And like, what's Jesse?
Influencer?
That's a good question.
Jesse, I couldn't tell you.
What is Carl?
I'm sorry.
I'm on one today.
You really are.
But this season, I mean, it's a good season and I'm...
Motherhood changed me.
I'm excited to see everything that's coming up.
You're Andy Cohen's children and it's a crazy family.
Also, you know what? Sometimes we fight.
Sometimes we have sex.
Fine. Some of us have had sex with each other.
Amen.
Fine. But at the end of the day, I think that there's something really cute about our little
dysfunctional relationship as people that share our house.
Well, that's why my baby nurse loved our show.
She was just like, this is fun.
The baby nurse loves it, and you'll love it too.
Claire, Claire.
It's on.
Prampton.
I was like, I have to start watching.
I don't even know.
You're like, damn, this sounds spicy.
I'm like, oh, my God.
No, you're coming over and watching it.
I know.
She's like, it's summer house night tonight.
You're watching it.
Oh, that's fun.
Watch it together, yeah.
Yeah, you weren't there.
Yeah.
You can find out what your profession is.
I'll just be there pumping.
That's actually, that's true.
But, like, Lindsay Wilfell.
me. And like, I think that any time that we weren't there, the first call was like, oh, my God.
Yeah, that's how I found out about a lot of things. You need that person. Because if you're gone and
nobody's calling you, it's not a good. My inspector, Gabby, was on it. I had a little monocle and
everything. I loved it. I love it. Did we answer all of your questions? Yeah. Kind of.
I feel like. No, I do want to know what the one. Lindsay asked us earlier. So what do you feel like?
Yeah. Like, what are your feelings on this season? I'm really enjoying this season. I think that
every episode has felt like there's like a different focus because episode one was like your big
announcement and everybody obviously like arriving.
Episode two, you and Carl kind of deaded it a little bit in a way that I thought was really
interesting, but you know, went well mostly.
This is really interesting.
This week the page and Kyle stuff.
Like I think there's a lot of different stuff going on, which is like that's what makes a good season.
Totally. Yeah, there was the Sierra and West, like, figuring that out as well.
Yeah. Now it's like the Jesse and Lexi.
Jesse and Lexi, we're... I feel like that's about to pick up.
Yeah. We're in for... Oh, Emerald. Oh, Emerald. Yeah.
Wow.
We're meeting him and getting to know a lot about him.
Intimately.
Very off the bat. So intimate.
Off the bat. It's... We, yeah, we get to see a lot of Emerald.
You know what?
But this is a very different season.
Very, this season.
But I kind of like that.
This season has everything.
It's like focused on so many.
It is like a group dynamic this year more so than ever.
And that's, so it should be.
This show wouldn't work if every season was like one couple and nothing else going on.
No.
So.
Or if everyone was like still toting the same stuff around that they were doing before.
It's just.
Yeah.
Evolution is like a thing that happens.
Some page and Craig in the mix.
Could you imagine?
if you were at the same spot that you were last year or this year?
I mean, I've talked to you guys a bunch now.
We're back.
And every year it is different.
It's different.
It is crazy.
I think this is like probably four or five times that we've had this season talk.
Do I get the superlative of most changed?
Maybe.
Yeah, that was my superlative in high school.
Was it?
Yeah.
Most changed.
I think, yeah.
Yeah, I was like, huh.
Purely because you pushed a human out of your.
yourself. I don't know. I don't think that's the only reason. No, but like that should be the
baseline. I think I'm like activated in different ways. I don't like yell and scream. I've never,
I still have not seen her activated. I know. Well, mm-mm. Little bits and pieces. Yeah, I think it's just,
it just looks different. Yeah, it's different. I've never seen the full. And that's gross. Now I'm just
like snarky as fuck on a podcast about you. Well, and that's the way I get activated. And we love you for it.
And then I'm like, okay, but I love you.
Well, thank you guys for coming here.
This is always fun to catch up, and we've got lots to look forward to this season.
Yay.
Amazing.
Well, thanks, guys.
Thanks, everyone for listening.
