Ha ha, laugh, funny.
Mention It All. A Bravo by Betches podcast.
We don't say that, but now we said it.
With me, Dylan Hafer.
We're going to check me, boo.
Hey, everyone.
Welcome back to the Mentioned All podcast.
I am Dylan Hafer, and today I am joined in the studio by some of my favorite Miami ladies, Alexia and Marisol.
Hi, Dylan.
Hi.
It's so good to be here, and I love that you said favorite housewives of Miami.
Do you say that whenever anybody's here?
Well, you're the first Miami Housewives.
who have been in the studio.
Hey.
Hey, I've got to that, bro.
Definitely up there, but, you know, I'll have to decide if we get some more coming down
the pipeline.
Who's a favorite?
Okay.
I'm good with that.
So you have a brand new season that we have four episodes out right now on Peacock.
How are we feeling going into this season?
Stupendous.
We're feeling good.
It's going to be good, right?
Yeah, I think we have a great season.
And for me, it's so different from my last season.
And I'm just happy, you know, that my season, this season is a happy season, you know, where you get to see me celebrating with Todd my wedding party and my family is coming together.
So therefore, I have more time to focus on the ladies.
So you're going to be hearing a lot more of Alexia and more of my opinion.
You know, there's more.
Oops.
Yikes.
Oops.
It's a good.
Yikes.
What is it like?
So you came back last year for this.
reboot on Peacock after being gone for a while.
Eight years.
Eight years, yes.
What is it like now a year later?
You came back.
Your season four was such a success.
People loved seeing you again.
You have been to BravoCon.
You've done all this cool stuff.
What is it like knowing that you, that people loved having you back so much?
It's a great feeling.
I mean, like for me, honestly, we had never done BravoCon.
So the fact that we were invited this year, I was invited last year, but then COVID happened.
But the fact that we were invited last year, but then COVID happened.
But the fact that we were invited.
we got to experience all this love from our fans and just from people.
I was like, in all, honestly.
And who doesn't love a comeback?
Right.
Don't you want to see a comeback every time and see it win and thrive and succeed?
You know, I felt like Miami always belonged on TV.
I never understood why or, you know, why it happened, how it had to happen.
But after eight years, you know, they finally figured out that, you know, Miami belongs on TV.
Not only our city, but I feel like our cast, you know, has always been so,
and, you know, and inclusive.
And we, we have a lot to say.
We have a lot to share.
And I'm just loving that the fans have been so welcoming and just warm with us.
And they really are loving it.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I think in your group, they did such a good job, you know, choosing which people to bring
back, but then also casting a few new women.
And it just feels like very fresh and like you guys have a lot of different dynamics going on
that you don't see on every show.
Yeah.
I feel like we mesh very well.
Sometimes when I watch other shows.
Well, not so many of us.
No, but I mean, when you're watching.
Really?
When you mess well with.
I'm as a like watching it back and I see us, I see what the producers are seeing that it meshes.
There's some harmony.
When I watch other shows, I feel like there's like, eh, like a roadblock, like a hump.
It just doesn't flow.
I feel like we flow.
Does that make sense?
Yeah.
Yeah, of course it does.
I feel so too.
Right. Even when you're not getting along, it feels like you all exist kind of in the same world and like it makes sense as a group.
Yeah. I mean, that's why I think it's such a good group of women because we have differences, obviously, like in every group of women, but we have so many similarities.
And we know that. We're moms. You know, we're entrepreneurs. We're business women. You know, we have children. We're married. We've been through divorces. We have a lot of similarities. And I think that that's what keeps us, you know, together. And we actually like each other. We can have a difference of opinion. I don't like.
this about you.
Yeah.
Like, for example, like, Adriana, for example, like maybe this season, I'm, you know,
feuding a little bit with her, but I like her song.
No.
And you know, I can like your song, but I don't have to like you.
It's true.
That's what I'm trying to say.
And even if she's an asshole, okay.
Thank you for elaborating Marisol.
At times, we want her song to succeed and we want her to do the best.
We do.
Yeah, like we know how to separate.
We know how to separate those things.
Because we've been friends for a long time.
Well, I don't know about friends.
Well, acquaintances, the word friendship.
In each other's lives.
We have.
Thank you.
That's exactly what I say.
And just because you've been in my life for 10 plus years doesn't mean that you're my friend.
And yet I've had other girls, you know, that have had them in my life for less amount of time.
And they could be a great friend because they're proven it.
It's about proving it.
I loved your wedding party was so beautiful.
Seeing that on this season was so nice.
It's just like a great kind of moment to see that after everything that you went through last year.
And seeing you at that party getting emotional and you said you've been with Alexia since the year 2000.
What was it like getting to finally experience that moment and then as a friend seeing that for her?
I was just like in my mind at that moment.
I kept thinking about the moment when I got married and my mom wasn't there and I got all like emotional.
I kept thinking, oh my God, what is she thinking in this moment?
because it's so fresh.
It just happened.
You know, for me, it was like a couple years later.
And so I got emotional and she didn't want me to get her emotional, but I did.
And I feel bad about it.
But, you know, it was just what was on my mind.
And that's what friends talk about, like real stuff.
What was, and what was it like for you having that moment after everything that you went through?
Oh, I mean, I was trying to not think about that.
I know.
I cried, like, behind the scene.
So I had already cried, like, in the shower before I got to the book.
Oh, you know, I had already had that moment in the morning.
Todd had a moment with himself.
And he got to walk in the beach and just kind of reflect.
And just sometime, you know, we wanted to be separated from each other in the morning,
not because we're like the traditional brides and who've done this already.
But just because we both wanted a time and that's how we're so in sync and aligned to ourselves.
So I had that moment.
Of course, I cried.
I thought about my mom, but I wanted it to be a happy moment.
So I'm like my mom and dad would not want me to be crying and making it about that because this is a beautiful celebration.
She didn't want that.
She tries to do it.
I didn't try to do it.
I don't let her.
She wasn't.
Because you know what?
I think about my parents and they wouldn't want that.
And that's what I tell her all the time.
Like our parents, like they had a great life.
You know, they were here and we're so fortunate that we got to be, have them for so many years.
You know, I lost my daughter at a young age.
So it's a different story.
But my mom.
So, you know, I want to remember her happy, joyful like she was, and the party, she would have been there.
She was with us.
But she wouldn't want me crying on my wedding day.
You know how much I've cried already?
Like, and that's what I try to tell her.
So, with that being said, it was all about like Todd and I.
We just wanted to be.
We were like in sync that night.
We were super aligned.
Like we were not going to let anybody get to us.
You know, I after saw that there was a lot of girls fighting.
Yeah.
Like, you know, and I was like, you know, thank God.
I didn't even know that that was going on because I was not, I just wanted to be about him and I.
So I had the perfect night.
Did it hurt your feelings seeing back later knowing that they couldn't quite keep it together like Larsa and Lisa to not have those issues at your event?
You know what?
It really didn't hurt me and it hurts me less now.
I actually was disappointed that Lenny hadn't gone to the wedding party because, you know, Todd and I, you know, thought we did.
did have a friendship with them and you know we have like shared different you know moments with them
we had just come back from aspen skiing so i was kind of hurt that lenny wasn't there but then
when i found out that they were fighting and after i know what i know today because i have watched the
first you know four episodes like you have i understand why she had all this anger inside of her
because she probably you know got into a fight with lenny before yeah wasn't making sense like
she had like all this stuff inside of her and yet she was still fighting for lenny and defending
him. Like she was trying to defend Lenny against Larsa. You know, when at the end, you know,
she was defending the wrong person. And at the end, it was just silly because who cares whether
you have a mortgage or not, especially when the house isn't even under your name. Like,
her name is not even on the deed of the house. So that's like we should be concerned about.
No, hey, it wasn't on mine either. Like, you know, I was married to Herman. But, you know,
it's like it's a man move, whatever. But again, it was just silly, right? Because you're celebrating, like,
a moment of happiness.
I know you said stop saying like.
So I'm going to try not to say like.
But I'm from Miami.
And I'm Cuban,
so we just say that a lot.
Over there,
it says,
stop saying like.
Oh.
You say whatever you want.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Just freestyle.
I'm like, okay,
can we turn that around?
We're doing this freestyle, Alexia.
Always freestyle.
You know,
with me is free style.
So I was disappointed in the fact that they did have that kind of behavior
in my wedding party.
But looking back,
now I get Lisa side.
She showed up there by herself.
We didn't get it at the moment.
You know, and, you know, thank God that the boat had like three or four different floors.
And by the way, they fought on every floor.
Like every time I went to get a drink, because one bar would be full.
I go to the next floor, they were like, la la la la la.
On every floor, I'd see them with the cameras arguing.
Right.
But you know, I love that they didn't bring it to me.
They were fighting on another floor.
You know, I like that they didn't involve me in it at any time.
How could they?
It was your wedding.
No, but they could have done that.
Because Nicole's engagement party is a different story.
I mean, and I'm not comparing them.
One's at an engagement party, whatever.
That was a one floor event.
I get,
I'm not comparing them.
There's a big difference.
That's Marisol's party planning tip is you got to have multiple floors.
Well,
I learned that from Alexia because at Nicole's engagement,
which was one floor,
there was a lot of stuff going on.
There was nowhere you could go because, you know,
you couldn't fight and move.
Like, I went to the bathroom.
On the boat, nobody was escaping.
Everybody was stuck in there.
Trapped.
So it was, we were at sea.
Like, we were actually sailing.
I'm surprised nobody could go down with the musicians like the Titanic because it was chaotic.
I love what you told Gertie.
You were like, boat leaves at eight.
So if you want to be at my party.
Yeah.
And she made sure to be there.
Yeah.
No, and she did make sure to be there.
But yeah, it was interesting.
But again, I wasn't going to let any of them like spoil it for me or just.
And again, I was like in other interviews today and I was saying like I had so many things going
through my head at that moment.
I was thinking about my mom, my dad, even Herman, like just everything, you know, that could have
made me very emotional.
And at the same time, you know, my son went with his girlfriend at the time, which I wasn't
very happy about.
So I was like keeping that in two.
And then, you know, Frankie, the music and all the people with his brain injury, he gets
very sensitive towards that.
So I was thinking about him, such a big bull.
Where's Frankie?
Like, is he okay?
So, you know, these are things that I'm going through.
that are like affecting me and are inside and I'm so trying to smile and have a good time and I did have a beautiful night.
So the fact that these grown-ass women are fighting about stupidity, about mortgages, whether you own or rent or whatever is just like beneath me.
Right.
The whole, I mean, the whole Lisa and Larsa thing, I felt like kind of got blown out of proportion.
And you were there when Lisa first said the thing, like brought up the video.
I don't even know.
Yeah.
So that didn't actually.
actually make it, but there is some kind of an Instagram account and it's this girl.
And she's very clever and very funny.
I don't, I don't remember what her name is.
I'm looking for stuff.
Okay.
She's working.
She nails it.
She has this little video of her in front of buildings in Miami, different apartment buildings,
and she analyzes the kind of people that live in the buildings.
And she does like a POV.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It's very interesting.
But by the way, every building's the same in Miami.
Well, I mean, if the shoe fits wary, like I don't take offense.
you know, I live in Sunny Al's.
They say certain things about my neighborhood and about my building.
But I don't relate to that.
You know, so I was like, I don't care what they say about my building.
Like, my building doesn't identify me or who I am or my family just because I live here.
What about like I love the beach and I love my unit.
It's so cool and it has a car elevator in my floor.
Well, that's not good TV.
No, I know.
I know.
I'm just saying.
I'm not saying about the TV.
No, it's not even not.
No, Larsa takes it personal.
I know she did.
TV. I know she did. This is the thing.
Trust me. So it's not that it's good TV.
So Lisa came to my house and
got a little, I got her a little lit
which it's very easy to do. Yeah, you have some cockies.
We had a few
and Kiki too. And then
she was like, said to me, have you been
to Larson's apartment? I was like, no, I haven't
been there yet. Have you? And she said, no, but I
saw this thing on Instagram about
this building. And then it just went
on about Pint Hustlers OnlyFans
and that whole thing. And then I was dying and I
kept thinking of myself, you're in so much trouble.
in every building in Miami.
You heard so much trouble right now.
That's in every building in Miami.
I know.
Right.
And neighborhood, you know?
No, I mean, I think more like buildings in Miami are like characterized that way.
But again, they could say whatever they want about my building, but that doesn't really reflect who I am.
So I, and believe me, they say things about my building.
And I think the best thing about my building are the people that live in it.
So it says a lot about me because I think they're all like badass.
It's like, I like everybody that is in my building.
So I always like to think of the positive.
I've always been a fan but a hoe
Just saying.
Exactly.
Those are the fun people.
Exactly.
I'm like, but what's wrong with that?
I want them in my neighbor.
Like, you know what?
But just own it or not own it or whatever.
Like I just think it got a little bit out of hand.
How did you feel about Kiki bringing it straight to Larsa?
I think she did the right thing.
Okay.
Yeah.
I knew.
I was totally on Kiki side.
I knew in that very moment.
That's what I started giggling and getting nervous.
I was like, oh, my God.
I kept thinking to myself,
Carlars is going to kick her ass.
Kiki's running to tell her right now.
now, Kiki's going to tell her, it's over.
This is going to be really bad.
And that's exactly what happened.
You can see in Kiki's face that she was very uncomfortable because, you know, I saw the
episode.
So I was invited to Marisol's house that night, but I couldn't go.
And they all called me to tell me what happened.
I said, oh, you're all in trouble because I know our friend Larsa too.
Oh, yeah.
And, and.
And it's just not going to sit well.
No, it's not going to be good.
No.
Because, you know, she's always had to.
Larson has always had to kind of like defend herself and justify everything.
And, you know, her life has always been so public.
People expect a lot from her.
Yeah.
More than the rest of us.
They just hold her to a different.
No, they hold her to like a, you know, her life is public.
Her life has been very public for so many years.
And, you know, when you're married to like a superstar, like, you know, Scotty and then she had, you know, her friends with her Kardashians.
So she's like at a different standard.
Right.
Right.
As far as that goes.
Yeah.
It's a different kind of attention.
Yeah. And it's not very positive.
You know, they're looking for like, they're looking for the bad instead of the good.
Yeah.
Like, to me it makes sense that she wants people to know if she's working for herself and she's, you know, doing all of this stuff.
I'm not the person.
I'm this person every day.
And she's going to tell you at every party she hosts that it's a business event.
I was dying at that.
I know, but it's kind of true.
I'm like, bro, like, we all have a business.
you know, we're all working women.
We are, you know, we all do something.
But, you know, it's, you know, it's like her thing because, you know, I get it.
I've been a little lazy in the past few years.
You know, when you're married, what did she say?
I've been what?
A little lazy in the past few years.
Well, you're allowed that because you worked very hard for many years.
I did.
I'm taking a little chill.
You know, when you're married to somebody like a Scotty Pippin or like, for example, you know,
I was married to like a very powerful person too in the community, you know,
and Leah Block was married, you know,
is married still married also, but, you know, to Roy Black, don't give me that face.
I'm sorry, I mentioned her, but you know what I'm trying to say?
Wait, I'm trying to give a good example because I'm very fair.
Exactly.
You didn't have another one.
Wait, it was the wrong question, right?
Wrong answer.
No, what I'm trying to say is that a lot of us women or women that are going to these shows
that are married to certain, you know, figures, you know, male figures.
And it's always kind of like you've been like in their shadow and they've been like,
the important ones.
It's like you have something to prove.
You know, so he was a superstar.
He was everything, everything.
Well, what about her?
You know, she was 20-something years being a mom and she has four kids and then you never get
the credit.
And being Scott's wife.
The bad part of it and like all the other scandals.
You know, nobody wants to say that she has a great, beautiful relationship with her kids
and she's always been a good mom and all the other stuff that she's done with her life.
Yeah.
So that's where I relate to her because it's, you know, I know.
And that's why I knew Lisa.
was going to get this shit kicked out of her.
You know what?
It was not going to go down well.
And the other day, they both been not.
Like, Larsa was also a stay-at-home mom and took care of her kids, just like Lisa.
I experienced that also.
I didn't like it.
I did for a while because that's what I always wanted to be.
But then when I did it, I'm like, oh, my God, I can do so much more than this.
I'm like, I could be like a great mom and like a homeroom mom and do all this.
And I can have a business.
And I could be, like, I always thought like I could do a lot more than that.
So I did.
But, you know, I didn't have four kids.
I had two.
They counted for 10.
but I still kind of did.
Two that felt like four.
But, you know, but it's hard.
I mean, it's, you know.
Yeah.
Well, I think one thing about your group that works well is that you do have common experiences
among you.
And Lisa, when she was talking about the mortgage situation or whatever,
you were saying that you also related to that from your past relationship that,
you know, maybe you're not in control of the finances.
Maybe you don't know everything that's going on.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I was clueless.
Yeah.
And I like seeing that you guys can kind of find those commonalities, even if you don't always
agree with you.
You have to break it down.
Well, I always speak the truth.
And I always try to say they don't want to hear it.
Because, you know, since I really speak the truth, they want to like shut me down or they want to give it a twist and then fight me.
So not liking that part because, you know, I honestly say these things because I've gone through it myself.
Like, I don't judge anybody because I've been that person.
I'm not trying to put you down because I was that person.
I'm just saying I can really.
to you and just learn from it and, you know, just move forward.

You were in the middle of filming,
obviously when all the stuff with Lisa and Lenny came out publicly.
How did that sort of change the atmosphere within the group?
And how did you maybe reset to be there for Lisa?
Yeah, I think that once Lisa came with that,
all the problems everybody else had kind of just washed away.
And it became about this whole big, huge surprise that Lenny had a girlfriend and he wanted
Lisa out of the house.
I think we were all floored.
Yeah.
And even like even other times that we did have.
have differences or fight about things at the end of, you know, the fight or the argument,
whatever we were having.
It was like, you know, none of this means anything.
This is so much bigger right now.
Because Lisa's going through this.
Yeah.
But, I mean, again, I mean, we've all gone through divorces.
We just happened to go through Lisa's divorce, like live, you know, which she was going
through in real life was actually playing out while we were filming.
So that made it a lot more difficult.
But again, I mean, we've gone through it and the entire world has gone through divorce.
And, you know, she's going to be okay.
This was extra scandalous.
I haven't had a divorce like that.
Well, she's probably.
And you don't want to.
And everything you read online is nothing like what you're going to see play out on camera
because that's just a snippet of, you know, a little quote here, a little quote there on page six.
It's not like the reality of what we actually lived and heard on camera.
I mean, it's extra.
Even just that hot mic moment in episode four where Lenny is.
Oh, my.
God.
That was, I couldn't.
Wow.
I just, I didn't sleep that night.
I watched that at night.
I just couldn't sleep on night because I really take things personal.
I slept like a baby.
And I was like, she was sleeping with the enemy.
You didn't even watch it.
I did watch it.
No, you didn't.
I got a little over served.
Yeah.
And everyone was talking around me, but I, I didn't hear it.
She only likes to listen to her parts.
So everybody else, she's like, oh my God, everybody else was so boring.
But yeah, I was like amazing.
Not everybody, but there's a few.
I was so funny.
There's a feel that I'm like, come on.
I went to sleep.
Everybody put me to sleep.
But no.
But what I'm trying to say is it really did affect me because any woman can relate to that.
You know, and the fact that you're married to this man, you're living under the same roof, that he would have the balls to say something like that.
To me, I like, I don't know.
I just take things, you know, very personal.
I don't think I heard it.
I'm going to play it back for you.
No, no, no.
So you can listen.
You need to listen to this.
Not the first time.
So I didn't lose any sleep.
The second time I heard it, I was like, wow.
I still slept well.
I was okay
Marisol needs her sleep
and listen
I rarely sleep well
so if the Sandman wants to give me a
favor I'm taking it
no I mean what happens is that he forgot
obviously that he had the mic on
and he was so ready
to just like leave
you know what I mean he was like in a bad place
it's just the way he did it
just like to me
it was shocking and after
everything we heard when we were filming
because it's a lot
But once I saw it back, I was like, oh, wow, yep, that's happened.
That's exactly what she's telling us.
I mean, that happens every single day, you know, that the men or women are planning, you know, their exit.
And the other person is not aware.
But the fact that we saw it and heard it, to me, it really changed.
Because, you know, I have had other questions, like everybody else and like, how didn't she not see it?
And the whole thing.
But when you're inside that, you know, when you're inside that relationship a lot of times,
you don't see what the outsider will see.
So everybody's that quick to judge.
Oh, yeah, of course.
Oh, I saw it coming.
Oh, yeah.
Everything was, oh, all the signs were there.
Didn't you not see that?
No, motherfucker.
We didn't.
No.
Because you're in it.
You're so absorbed and you love this person.
Yeah.
You're fighting for your family and you're fighting for your kids.
And you just don't think it's going to happen.
You know, a lot of times in relationships, you're like, um, they just have a certain lifestyle
that I thought work for them.
Mm-hmm.
And we thought that could just go on forever because that works.
for them and why would you leave?
Why would you find a girlfriend?
Why would you move on?
Why would you break all of this up?
It didn't make sense to us.
So it was shocking.
Everyone else may have seen it, but we didn't see it.
I'm curious.
So you, since last time we had Real House of Miami eight, eight, nine years ago,
you are married now in a new relationship.
How do you feel about not showing so much of that on camera?
And do you think you would ever change that?
Or?
You know, my husband's really fun.
He's like silly like me and everything.
And I think anything he showed would just be us silly and goofy.
And I don't know if anybody really wants to see that.
So, you know.
Yeah.
And it's not, wow, that's a good TV.
It's just, you know, two fun people like to drink together and have a good time together.
And I don't know if it's compelling television.
It could be a little fun and slum.
entertaining. I would like to see that more. You would? Oh, you're so sweet. That's why she's my best.
She's so supportive. I like happy people and fun times and all that. That's what I go out for.
I don't know if anybody, I think people want to see like America's ready for that.
I feel like they want to get happy like us. America wants to be happy. Then maybe we do need to see it.
You know, he's good. He'll do anything. He's the nicest. He's a great guy. Yeah. He's easy.
Yeah. Maybe in the future. Maybe. Maybe.
Maybe in the future we'll see more.
You never know.
You don't know.
Alexia, I'm curious about your issues with Gertie going back to the wedding planning stuff that happened last season.
And then she was saying she was hurt by some of the comments you made about that fundraiser.
So I didn't make any of those comments.
Okay.
Okay.
So this is a conversation that Gertie and I had as soon, we weren't even filming yet.
So when the seafar, when the boat called me saying they had a Saturday available, which is a day that I was.
we wanted Todd and I.
The first person I called was her, even before Todd or anybody else.
I was so excited they finally have a Saturday because Todd really wanted it to be a Saturday
so all of our friends and family can get out there.
It was in downtown Miami.
And during the week, it's really, you know, more difficult for people to get out there.
So I called her.
And just like when I called her, it was just like she wasn't even happy.
Like her tone of voice wasn't happy.
She probably already knew she wasn't going to do it.
Right.
So I think beforehand she had already told herself like I'm not doing it.
So at this point, I don't know why she's so offended by me.
Because now I'm thinking, well, you know what?
I can feel the same thing about you.
You use me season four.
So you can have a storyline and so that you can, I can, you know, you can be more relatable.
And all of a sudden, yeah, that you're on the show, season five.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah, now that you're on the show.
Sorry, they're three in my Spanish.
I love it.
That you're on the show, you're like, I'm not important to you anymore.
So she kept on saying things
This was a conversation
Not on camera
But she started saying things that were hurting me
Saying about that
Oh well I have a wedding that day already
Oh but this oh but that
Like giving excuses instead of really saying that she goes
Well I don't know if I want to show
All my professional life this season
You know I want to show more about like my life
My personal life
It's going to be more about Gertie
And I was like
But this isn't even
about that.
Like,
this is like you,
you had this relationship with me.
But isn't Gertie?
Her professional life is Gertie.
That's all she shows us.
Well, no,
now she's showing a little bit of Russell.
Uh-huh.
Now she's showing a little bit of her husband.
What about her kids?
Did she show the kids?
Well,
some people don't want to show their kids and that's okay.
I showed too much of my kids.
So I don't know what's better or worse,
but yeah.
I don't know.
So, you know,
in their case,
I don't know about that.
But I do know that the first person that I called was her.
And I thought she was going to be excited for me and happy for me.
I thought she was going to be there for me.
And she wasn't.
And then she wants to give it a twist and say that I talked about her dead brother,
which is offensive.
Like, first of all, I don't even speak that way.
Like, my dead brother.
Like, I don't know those words don't even come out of my mouth.
And Marisol that she had thrown, you know, because I think we started talking about,
she's like, oh, I'll give you like everything you need, the Avengers, blah, blah, blah.
You know, maybe Marisol can help you.
And I'm like, Marisol did the botcher.
and I loved it, but that's like not what she does.
You know, it just started going everywhere.
Because if you talk with Gertie, you know the conversation goes everywhere.
I don't like to do the same thing cut and paste over and over again.
Yeah.
And that's all wedding.
Right.
No, and I was thinking to put you on that predicament.
The white or the ping.
It's always the same thing.
My clientele, when I worked, I don't work anymore and I'm not in a competition with
Gertie.
I feel like she's in a competition with me, even though I have been retired for seven years.
Yeah, like my clientele was.
very, all the luxury brands in the world.
And they had their, you know, the way they wanted things done.
It wasn't cookie cutter.
It wasn't kind of curated.
And have everything passed and approved down to a menu, down to the color of a napkin
ring, the font on a, everything was just ridiculously over the top.
So when I went into do her bachelorette party and I used to go to the parties,
Donatella and Gianni would throw, I knew how to do this house.
because I would see how Donatella would do it.
And that's what I did for you.
Well, apparently you had an easy backdrop because it was a Versace image.
Yeah, but you still have to dress up and do the details.
But apparently I only brought.
You even took your own China.
I brought my own China for the breakfast.
Yes.
Yeah, from my house.
Well, she doesn't know that because she left.
She didn't stay.
But apparently I only brought napkin rings.
That's apparently all.
And I'm like, why is she so like, you know, being that way with me?
I don't even do this kind of business anymore.
You know, the conversation, unfortunately,
took that twist and that's her story and that's what she wants to say but I know it wasn't like that
and the only reason why even brought Marisol into it was because she was upsetting me because she kept
on telling me that she wasn't doing it oh I have a way she was just being she was a dismissive one
so now she says in her confessionals and I'm dismissive I'm entitled and and I only brought
napkin rings yourself you know you look at your Instagram like it that's you not me yeah
Well, and it's hard going into a new season if there's stuff that's happened when before you're filming off camera and then you feel like the other person is trying to flip the script or say something that didn't happen.
Well, how are you supposed to actually want to move forward in that friendship?
Well, like, if you see in the footage, like, I'm okay with it.
I'm like, you know what?
Because to me, it was just like a wedding party.
You know, I was.
You just wanted to have a good day.
I just wanted it to happen.
And I just wanted whatever.
But the fact that she gave it a twist and kind of.
I like turned it into her storyline once again.
I just thought that it was like,
it made no sense.
Yeah, I mean, it just made no sense.
Because I just wanted to have a party, you know,
and it would have been so easy for you.
And if that wedding was so important to you,
then why did you come like to the wedding?
By the way, you had premium liquor.
It was very good.
But apparently it had a jar to tip the bartenders.
Oh, just so you know, I pulled,
I pulled the Bech's coworkers.
They agreed with you.
They didn't think there was a problem with the tip jars.
I didn't think that that was my etiquette or anything.
I was like, I first of all have no control over that.
And even if you do sometimes, you see that they take out the jar after the bartenders and they do that.
And by the way, most people, elegant people will pull money out and be like, I want to give you a tip.
So you don't want to hand it to them on a wet bar.
You need somewhere to put it.
Because you want to pay the person that gave you drink.
You can't just take it.
You know your stuff.
No, she does.
She's really the queen of etiquette.
And not even not.
I'm a stickler for etiquette.
Like, I didn't even go to a bar.
Like, I had somebody serving me, and I didn't even drink so much.
She had a butler.
Other people should have had butlers at their event.
I love help.
Moving forward, we will see.
Every group of person to have, like, their own butler because I'm all about that.
Yeah, of course.
You don't want your guests standing in a line for a drink, waiting.
No, I don't like lines.
That's why my parents left Cuba because they didn't want to be, like, in a line to just get like.
That's one of the reasons.
It's funny though.
It's not funny though.
No, but it's true.
Like, so I don't want to do that, you know, for my people, for my guests.
And I'm not that person either.
But the fact that that's what she focuses on is just, it says a lot about her because I was ready to move on.
But apparently she keeps on holding on to that.
And she continues to like, you know, to disagree with me in many things.
So you'll have to.
All right.
Move it along enough about Gertie.
Yeah.
Okay.
We'll talk about you.
I want to go back.
Me?
I'm just a friend.
No, there are someone who's talking about it.
I want to go back to one moment from last season that I think has people still talk about it.
And that was when you guys were in the Hamptons and we sit down to eat.
And you say that you want to go around the table and everyone's going to say who they trust the least.
Well, I was really bored at that dinner.
And I thought we didn't have a little fun here.
Spice it up.
Wait until you see the game that she played at my birthday party.
Oh, no.
You haven't seen that yet.
Did you know what you were doing with that game?
No, I was literally bored and I started getting a little lit and I was like, we need to play a game.
I was like thinking in my brain.
I was like, hey, let's talk about who we trust the least.
I already knew what my answer was.
You know, when you start a game, you know what you're, you know your answer.
You know the answers to your own questions.
So I kind of played my own game to set myself up, but everybody enjoyed it, I think.
Are my wrong?
The world is enjoyed.
It's become a TikTok phenomenon.
The viewers enjoyed it.
Yeah.
I can't speak for everyone that was at the table.
Well, I think we uncovered a lot of dirt.
I think we uncovered and pulled the veil off of a lot of bullshit.
And then that's like the game began.
That was that game.
And I'm going to talk about this season and my game and my party that she also curated the game and actually pulled some cards out because I'm like, you're going to start some shit here.
Like, so I myself removed the card.
That was the point.
We're doing TV.
Because I'm such a piecemaker, right?
So my game, I wanted to make very clear that it was a game.
Because, you know, this moment.
It's always a game.
Yeah, yours was a game too, but you didn't actually have, like, cards.
This was Marisol coming out with the game, right?
And her own question.
They're all a game.
This was a game.
And some of these ladies don't know how to play a game.
You'll have to watch.
And you tell me after next time we see you, whether you agree.
or not.
Okay.
But you know, games are always fun.
Like, I agree with Marisol.
Sometimes it gets really boring and you need to like...
My head was almost in my plate, but since I have good etiquette, I would not let my head
drop, so I had to start a game.
What about your elbows?
Did you like those elbows?
Never.
I never put my elbows on the table and I don't talk with food in my mouth like other people
on our show.
Just saying.
So you were bored with the dinner, but you're not bored with your life.
My life is good.
I keep myself entertained.
I entertain myself.
How are you feeling about Dr.
Nicole these days?
She okay.
It's okay.
It's a past.
Whatever.
We coexist in a working environment.
Mm-hmm.
Yeah.
You know, you can't pick the people you work with,
but you try to make it work while you're working.
Fair enough.
What's the difference between butter and butter made from real California dairy?
It's the real California farm families behind it.
Real people.
Real care.
Real intention.
Why? Because real matters.
So whether you're pouring milk, melting of cheese,
or just grabbing one more spoonful of yogurt,
keep it real. Look for the seal.

Speaking of working with people,
you guys are all both on
the new season of Ultimate Girls Trip
that we have coming up in a little bit.
How was that experience for you?
That was fun. Because you see, there
you don't get to pick who you work with.
Not that we do in our show, but there
it was really just picked randomly. I thought it was a
great selection. Yeah, it was so much
fun because we're all kind of like you,
franchises even though I'm going to get credit for 2010.
We were here before all of you.
That's right.
We're not New York.
Not New York, but it was just Leah.
Yeah.
And Leah wasn't an OG.
And Leah wasn't an OG.
Right.
Well, we were actually the real OGs of that whole trip.
You didn't even say that, bro.
You said it.
You see what I mean?
She's never there.
You said it.
I had a stomach cake.
You forgot.
You drop it in your confessional interviews.
Right.
Hopefully you do.
We have a confessional tomorrow, so you better drop that shit.
Yeah.
We already talked about that.
We didn't.
Yeah, we did. You forgot. I gave you a good screwdriver that day. It's a mind eraser.
Yeah, no, it was really cool. It was a great experience, right? To like get to meet, you know,
first time we went to Thailand. So how cool was that?
It was a long flight. But they did us right. It was excellent.
Yeah, it was really beautiful. And the fact that we all got to meet for the first time,
none of it was really knew each other. And just kind of like, you know, gravitate towards who you like.
We were super blessed because, you know, I love Jirinda, but if we had come,
on a blue stone banner.
It would have turned out well.
I don't think I would have been in that group.
We got to go to Thailand.
Jill's Aaron still upset about that.
It was like a different,
it was a different energy because, you know,
that's what really makes everything.
I don't think any of us knew each other.
The only person I'd met before was Porsche and Leah.
I hadn't met anybody else people.
Well, that's a lot.
Okay.
But like very briefly.
Right.
It's not like people that you really have spent any time around.
No, no, no, no.
No, no, no, no.
And you guys were at Porsche's wedding.
Yeah.
How was that?
Oh, my God.
It was over the top.
It's beautiful.
Over the top.
Like, over the top.
You can't even imagine.
I don't think I've ever been to anybody's wedding.
It was crazy.
And it wasn't being filmed because people thought because it was so over the top.
Oh, wow.
Everybody's table had these canopy of flowers.
I was already doing the math on all the flowers as an event planner.
You know, it's like, this is crazy.
I was like, I gave up.
I was getting a little lit.
I gave up after $2 million.
What about the menu?
Like the menu?
Oh, the food was impeccable.
She had seven outfits.
Her veil, one veil alone on the seven outfits.
I was like, that's 10 grand right there.
Just one tiny little veil.
But can we talk about, like, how in love she was?
Because I know that everybody just wants to focus.
Sorry.
Sorry.
Everybody likes to focus on the material stuff and the flowers.
Yes, of course.
They were in love.
But, like, she was so, she was so, like, into him and him.
Oh, yeah.
And he looked like, I thought it was like a dignitary or like from.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I mean, I don't know if he is or isn't.
He looked like, I like people for who they are.
I don't care.
Exactly.
But it was just like, it was like her dream come true.
Like you could see her happiness was just like, that's like the most, you know,
important thing.
That's like, you know, she was so like having fun like into her own thing that she
didn't even care about it.
It's kind of like how I was feeling.
I was like, good for you.
Well, by the way, I ate the food.
You know, I never eat.
It was very good.
Oh, the food was delicious.
It was delicious.
Excellent.
I loved everything.
And you know how hard it is to feed that.
many people.
Yeah, good food at the wedding.
Played, seated.
Excellent.
And Drew Hill and Cisco.
She took it back in the day.
It was so good.
It was so good.
Honestly,
it was a beautiful, beautiful wedding.
And did you have fun hanging out with some of the other housewives?
Of course.
Yeah.
It's always fun to see them.
We were with Nini.
Yes.
Kim Zolek with candy.
Cynthia.
Yeah.
And like when you say 2010, go back to Miami, like,
NeNe, Kim, all of you guys were back in the day.
I met Cynthia in Miami.
Atlanta Housewives was filming in Miami.
Miami and they invited me and Adriana.
So, and it was Cynthia's
first season. Oh my gosh. And that's where I
met her. Yes. We all go way back. The runway show.
And it was like a swim week in Miami.
So, um, and she was like one of the models. Yeah. So we go like
way back. It's really nice. And I feel like I've said that's
another press that I've done that I feel that times are different. Like when we
were on the show in 2010, I felt like our cities would, and even the
housewives would compete.
a little bit with each other.
Like we wanted,
we really didn't have like that interaction between us.
And everybody was like figuring it out.
And we're like,
I'm not sure if I'm supposed to like you
or you're like competing against me.
But now I feel like we just all love each other.
Like we see each other like a Bravo con.
We go watch each other.
We support each other.
We kind of have this special bonds between us.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And I mean,
the more people are watching and talking about it
and, you know,
wanting to see you guys on like a girl's trip
or even your,
reboot coming back in the first place.
It's because people care and because people want to see you.
I feel like it's a trend now bringing back, you know, the people that were no longer on.
I mean, they brought Taylor Armstrong back on.
Yeah.
Tamara's coming back.
They brought us back.
They're bringing Derinda back and doing the New York legend thing.
I mean, you have to prove yourself.
Right.
You know, it's the people are attached to the old school way, I think.
And they like to see that.
I don't, I don't think they attach to the new characters as much.
It's a little harder because I feel, don't you see that?
It takes time.
It takes time.
I agree.
I mean, it's happened gradually.
Like what else is it happened gradually?
Very slowly.
It's not like it happens overnight.
Yeah.
Hello.
10 years later.
Episode five.
And what is it?
I thought you were going to see me again.
Exactly.
Well, I think that is the perfect note to finish on.
I am so excited for everyone to see your new season from what I've seen so far.
It is certainly a spicy, fun time.
What are you most excited for with everyone seeing these new episodes?
I don't know.
I'm just so excited as a whole.
Like I got to watch, you know, last season.
Like I said, I couldn't watch my own show.
But this season, I was like, I watched, you know, the four episodes that I've watched.
I think it's like if last season was a telenovela, this one.
one's a freaking movie like from Hollywood like it's really really really good yeah it's really
very good yeah I'm just happy to be very good yeah I'm just happy to be part of it I think it's super
relatable you know we're all going through things in our life that the entire world can relate to
so it's it's gonna be fun to watch what you're not you're not relating to why not the whole world
can relate to why not well maybe somebody in Japan can relate to it or somebody well maybe the
emotional things that are going on about the materialistic things
Just the emotional part.
I'm going to be honest, my friend.
Well, it's not that relatable.
No, but you know what?
I don't even think that's how you and I are different because I wasn't even thinking about that, the money part of it or our lifestyle at all.
I was thinking about it as humans and as people and as women.
Well, I'm a Capricorn.
I'm very pragmatic.
I'm very real one.
No, I'm very real.
I know that what people are going to probably think.
It's the Capricorn.
I don't see it that way.
Yes.
I don't see it that way.
You know.
Because, you know, at the end of the day, even though we have all those material things,
we are real people and human people, and we're going through the same struggles, except we have
a little bit of money to do the other stuff.
You know how people love what we do and then half of them hate us.
I don't know.
I don't look at that.
You look at that.
I don't look at any of that.
Half are going to be emotionally involved.
I don't care what Joey in Ohio thinks of me.
I just don't care.
I don't read his comment.
I don't care.
I don't read it.
I'm done.
Okay.
So how-
So you see
legando
Let me finish
my thought
Farnward
Half of the people
that love us
Half of the people
hate us
Half are gonna see
the emotional
half are gonna see
the material
so that comment
is gonna have
a slice down
the middle
That's all I'm saying
That's okay
Oh that's fine
I mean
I just don't care
What anybody thinks
Of course we don't
We didn't say
We cared
And I've lived
We never said we cared
No you do
Because you read
Those comments
And you know
What
You shouldn't
Let any of them
affect you
They really don't
They kind of do
No, not at all.
Who cares about them?
I didn't even see it as a material thing because, again, and I disagree with you because, you know,
Gertie's lifestyle is different from like, let's say Lisa's lifestyle and my lifestyle is different
from Lisa's.
It's different from Larsa's, you know, it's different from yours.
We all have a different lifestyle.
And yes, you know, you might see we live in a beautiful city and it's full of money and it's full
of all the other things that they might show that you might interpret.
but at the end we still have the same problems.
We all do.
We're going through divorces.
We're going through marriages.
Well, that's the clarity in the statement.
So you know what?
People need to stop looking at, oh, but she drives a Rolls-Royce.
Oh, but she drives a Ferrari.
But you know what people like to see that at the end of the day, we all have the same issues.
And it's just like how you deal with them.
Totally.
Well, Marisol, Alexia.
Thank you so much.
This has been so fun.
