Mention It All - Is RHONY Coming Back?! Plus Summer House S10, Karen Huger's Return, Traitors Shockers & More
Episode Date: February 6, 2026On this week's Bravo recap episode, Dylan's cup runneth over with things to cover, starting with the news that the OG RHONY crew is hopping over to E! for a brand new show. Is this a middle finger to ...Bravo, and will anyone even care? Then, he discusses Real Housewives of Rhode Island's brand new trailer, and how this show could be the spiritual successor to RHONJ. From there, he gets into the bumpy season 10 premiere of Summer House, and why it's a blessing that Kyle and Amanda announced their split before the season. Next, Dylan dives into Karen Huger's special sitdown with Andy Cohen on RHOP, where she took (some) accountability for her mistakes, and revealed which color she WON'T be wearing after her time in jail. Later, Dylan unpacks his thoughts about Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and is left reeling after the latest episode of Traitors. everyone, welcome back to the Mentioned at All podcast and to another Friday. We have made it through
another cold week of winter. I got to, I got to tell you, I'm struggling a little bit. It's,
it feels like it's been a long winter. There's lots happening on Bravo, lots of stuff to talk about,
lots of things to watch, but it's just cold. I'm like, I don't know, I feel like the vibes are
not that high right now, but we have gotten some interesting news to talk about this week.
we're of course going to get into the Summerhouse season 10 premiere if you're watching
summer house then you need to make sure and catch up on my episode from earlier this week with
Carl Radke we talked about Kyle and Amanda we talked about his book we talked about
Chrissy Teigen crediting him with inspiring her to become sober we talked about this season
of summer house lots of stuff go watch it listen to it wherever you're watching listening
to this because you can watch our Friday episodes now if you want to
If you're on Spotify, you can tap that switch to video button.
Or you can find us on YouTube, YouTube.com slash at Bravo by Betches.
But we have a lot to talk about today.
Like I said, Summer House premiere.
We're going to talk about the Karen Hugar, the Grand Dom comes home.
Real Housewives of Potomac, extravagaganza.
We're going to talk about a little bit about Beverly Hills because I feel like a little bit about Beverly Hills is kind of like what they're giving us every week.
So that's kind of what I'm giving back to them.
I'm not not enjoying it, but like it doesn't, a little bit about Beverly Hills.
And then, Trey Ars, it's coming back at the end.
And like I've told you guys every week that I've talked about, traders, there will be spoilers.
This is your warning.
Turn off the episode when I tell you to if you want to not be spoiled.
But like also just watch traders.
But before we get into all of that, we have gotten a couple of big announcements this week that are Real Housewives related.
And first of all, I want to talk about this news that came out.
First, it was reported over the weekend, and then it was officially confirmed a couple
days ago that a whole group of Rony originals, I don't want to say OGs because they're not
all OGs, but some of our classic Rony Legacy ladies are returning to television on the E-NATwork.
And I have to tell you, I just feel like, if you're a...
on the E network in 2026?
It's kind of like look at your life, look at your choices, how did we get here?
That iconic share tweet from like 12 years ago, what's going on with my career?
Share in the news this week, she was, she's not the Grammys looking amazing, looking a little
confused, but maybe maybe that's the right vibe for what's going on with the Roney Legacy
ladies because they are coming back in a show that's working title, the goal.
Golden Life. Very creative, I guess. It's like Golden Girls, the Golden Years. The Golden Life. Sure. This show is, it's going to feature Ramona, Luanne, Sonia, Kelly Ben Simone, Jill Zarin. Okay. Like, okay. Yeah, okay. The thing with this is that, like, I don't want to be,
negative. But I think I kind of want to be negative. I just think that when this was first
popping up online over the weekend, there were kind of two reactions that I was seeing. First of all,
there are the people, and I respect this reaction. And I am happy that there are people that
feel this way that are like, hallelujah, thank God. Our mothers are coming home. Thank the Lord,
sweet Jesus, that these women are going to be back on our screens. I think that's a totally
valid reaction. These ladies have given us so much and we've known them forever and they have been a little bit in
the wilderness the last few years. Obviously, we've been seeing them around. You know, we've had crappy
lake. We've had girls trip legacy. We've had, you know, Luanne is going to be on this road trip show
coming up later this year that just filmed. These women have not been like disappeared. They just haven't had like a
home. And I think that's where I am landing is that I'm a little bit skeptical that a allegedly like,
10-episode show being filmed allegedly in Palm Beach, which I'm skeptical of because this show
on Netflix, members only Palm Beach, which I didn't watch. You guys, I'm so sorry, I value my time.
The whole thing was themed around Palm Beach, but they couldn't get permission to film in Palm Beach.
So it's actually like West Palm Beach and surrounding environs. And I'm like, okay, so are they
letting Luann and Ramona film in Palm Beach proper? Are they letting Ramona take the
cameras into Mar-a-Lago with her? I mean, I don't want to see that, but like, are, is that what's
happening? Or is this another show that is, like, centering itself around a place that it is not
actually allowed to film, which just feels like kind of a fool's errand, but whatever.
I just am not confident that 10 episodes of these women in Florida being themselves,
whatever that looks like, is really going to be what people want. I don't, it just,
is kind of like, okay, yeah, whatever, let me know when it's happening. I'm sure I'll check it out.
The weird wrinkle of this, though, and something that I've seen a lot of conversation about,
and I think is a little bit complicated, is that people are framing the fact that this show is
on E, that this is some big middle finger to Bravo. Because if you're not so familiar with
the really fun and totally not chaotic,
media landscape these days. For many years, Bravo and E were both under the same parent company
umbrella of NBC Universal. Now, within the last year or so, NBC Universal spun off most of its
cable channels, which includes USA, which includes sci-fi, which includes MSNBC, which is now MS now,
which includes the E-network into a separate company called VERSENT, which is because cable networks are not
making as much money as they used to. And the only cable network that NBCU chose to keep and to not
spin off into this, it's like, you know, colloquially called Crapco is Bravo. Because Bravo has a real
fan base. It has real original programming. It feeds Peacock in a way that is very important to the,
you know, success or, you know, relative success of Peacock. And Bravo is like central to
the brand, but all these other channels now are on their own little island. And the thing is,
E has not had very much original programming in years. In the last couple years, they have some
plastic surgery, you know, show that's happening. They had botched. They have, um, Comorili Simmons
has a show that's on E that I suppose somebody watched. Even House of Villains was originally
on E and now it's going to Peacock for the new season. So people are framing.
this like, oh, now that E is not owned by Bravo, it's a rival network. And these women of Rony
are saying, fuck you, Bravo. You didn't want to give us a show. We're taking our show somewhere else.
And you're not going to have us anymore. And I just think that that's like kind of a misread of
this situation. Because Bravo could have made this show if they wanted it anytime in the last
four years. Like they announced at one point that they were doing Rony Legacy and then did
make that show and then gave them one season of Ultimate Girls Trip to do Rony Legacy. And then it was
kind of like, okay, yeah, that was fine. And then they haven't done anything with them since.
This is not something where Bravo has been scratching their heads for the last three years,
saying, oh, how do we get Ramona back on the air? What can we do to get Kelly and Sonia and Ramona
and Jill back together? Like, Bravo's fine. Bravo just announced, as I'll talk about in a second,
Real Housewives of Rhode Island, that's what they're focused on.
They're like, we're 20 years in the making.
We're still, you know, cooking up something new.
And even, I think people have sort of, because the Roney reboot project has not been extremely successful,
I think some people have sort of like fan fictioned this idea that Bravo is just continually
kicking themselves over like fumbling the bag with Ramona, Sonia Luann, Durinda, et cetera.
I actually just don't, I don't think that that's what the Bravo executives are spending their time thinking about.
Like, I'm sure, I'm sure it crosses their mind, but I don't think that this is, I don't think that this is like drama in the way that people want it to be drama.
But I hope that the show is good. I mean, I always hope the show's good. You know that.
But yeah, I'm interested. I'm interested and I wonder, you know, I just wonder.
But moving on to things that actually are happening on Bravo with.
the premiere date this year. Real Housewives of Rhode Island. We got the real trailer. You know,
we had gotten a trailer at BravoCon. This one's some of the same material, some new stuff.
We got a premiere date, April 2nd. We got a photo shoot that is honestly like, it's giving.
These women, these seven Doloress plus Real Dolores, they're in their clamshells,
they're holding their giant fake pearls. And
they showed up ready to serve. And I am as, I think, I am as positive about an incoming new
housewives show as I feel like I could possibly be. Because obviously, like, we'll see. We'll see
how it goes when, when the time actually comes. But it just feels like they've, it feels like they
have taken the time to try and really give this the best shot possible. Because the, the, the
trailer to me is exciting. There are some moments that I genuinely like ears perked up and I'm like,
what's that now? What's going on? All of the women look the same. That's kind of the, that's kind of
the biggest thread that I'm seeing on social media is everybody's like, wow. So they all,
so it's all just Dolores out here. It's like on Real Housewives of Salt Lake City last season,
when they all dressed as Lisa Barlow to go to lunch and they're like, six,
says. It's like just seven Dolores is actually eight because also Dolores is here. It looks like fun though.
You know, Ashley Yacanetti from, from Bachelor is on there as we knew. In the trailer, we see her and
her and her husband Jared crying about their cafe not making enough money. Okay. Tell me more.
I'll listen. I'll be there. There's this woman.
Rula, who seems to have pretty credible cheating rumors about her husband that are swirling around,
which is a very interesting circumstance under which to join a show like this.
And I was probably my favorite moment in the trailer is when a few of the women are at,
like, lunch or something.
And Rula's going, this petty fucking slut.
First of all, what a great way to describe somebody.
Petty fucking slut.
This petty fucking slut is trying to spread stuff at a.
saying that my husband is and or was involved when he's not.
And then this one, I think it's Liz, who is out of all the women who look like Dolores,
Liz is like the actual Dolores clone.
Like there's other, there's other women that are like, oh, you asked me to like draw a picture of Dolores from memory.
And so it's like kind of similar.
Liz looks like Dolores.
And is Dolores's friend that brought Dolores on the show.
Take a shot every time I say Dolores, Jesus Christ.
but she goes
They're trying to say the stuff about my husband
And she
puts her hand in her mouth and whispered she goes
But it is my
But it is
The accents in this cast
Now I have never been to Rhode Island
I hear it's lovely
Do I? I think
I mean people like Newport
I don't know about like the rest of it
These women maybe aren't from like
The loveliest part of Rhode Island
No shade
I haven't been there. I can't speak to it. But I am not that familiar with this Rhode Island
drawl, this kind of like, it's a little bit Jersey, it's a little bit like Boston. It's a little bit,
a little bit of something, a little bit of something saucy. I'm very intrigued by this group of
women because I just feel like there's something I haven't seen before. I feel like they are a little
different and I'm intrigued
by that.
But it is my
but it is.
I'm ready to welcome them into my life and I
I'm excited to meet them on April
2nd. It's coming so soon.
So good, so good.

Let's talk about this summer house premiere.
Now, of course, in the last couple of weeks,
we got the big bombshell that Kyle and Amanda are navigating through to the next phase
of their relationship as partners and friends, but not whatever, you know, PR talk.
they're not together and thank God we got the announcement when we did because watching this
season premiere. I expected that during this season of Summerhouse we would, um, you know, see some
tensions starting to simmer to the top and Kyle and Amanda would be, you know, not that they've
ever been in a great place, literally ever, but that we, things would start to seem like, oh,
there's just, there's more friction than usual. Oh, it's starting to, it's starting to, it's
to pull at the edges and, oh, are we going to make it? Do we want?
Episode one, literally like minute four. It's like, oh, so it's bad. It's bad by
Kyle and Amanda standards, which means it's like, it's really bad. Even we're in the car
out to the house. And Amanda is already talking about how she's like not in support of Kyle's
DJ career. And the DJ career is really kind of taking center stage already this season.
in because Kyle has only been home.
He tells us, this is straight from his mouth.
So I'm going to believe it.
He says he has been home one and a half weekends between January and June, which is a lot of
months with a lot of weekends.
And he's been home one and a half of them, whatever that means.
And he's hoping that because he's been gone so much in the spring, that the
summer will be the perfect time for him and Amanda to, quote, reunite and rekindle and really just,
you know, get their relationship back on track. And Kyle, if you're listening, I just, I have one
question. Have you ever met your wife? Like, what about Amanda Batula that you have ever encountered
makes you think that you are going to be gone for all but one and a half weekends for half of the
year and then you're going to be spending the weekends together in the summer house and she's
going to be like, oh my baby, I'm so glad you're back. Now let's cuddle and reconnect and
reunite and rekindle and and reignite our love and and our passion and and just bond over all
the time that now we have together. It's like, no! She's going to be like bitter and annoyed that
you've been gone for the last six months and not just gone because it's not like, oh, my husband
works in medical device sales and he has to travel across his territory and try to make quota for the
month. It's like, no, you're going out and partying in a different college town every weekend and going
back to some Penn State sophomores on-campus apartment and staying up till 6 a.m. playing
beer pong in a disgusting dorm room. And then getting like Snapchatted.
there's just no like that's the thing with Kyle like I like Kyle like I like Kyle
in life he's a nice like he's a cool guy I've I've met him many times you like I don't
it's not that I think Kyle is like a horrible person it's like I think he is a horrible
reader of the room when it comes to his own wife where it's like my guy it's not going to go
down like that and it's just crazy to me that after all of
these years, he's coming on here and being like, man, I don't know where, I don't know where we went
wrong. I thought it was all going to be good with Amanda this summer. And now it's just not.
It's like, yeah, she's already moved on. She's already, she's already been like mentally packing up
the bags, even if it's not gotten to the point where you're like having that conversation yet.
She's checked out. She's done. She doesn't want to, she's not listening to him talk at dinner.
And he's acting like he's hurt by it. And then she's like,
Yeah, I'm jealous.
Man, I just am so glad that they made the announcement when they did.
Because, I mean, first of all, I don't want them to have to be, like, lying when they're doing press.
Like, that's not fun for anybody.
Like, I don't want to sit down and interview somebody who's, like, bullshitting me.
But also, it would have been painful to watch this season, watch what we're seeing on this episode and have to be like, man, is Amanda ever going to choose herself?
Is she ever going to, is she ever going to do what she needs to do and pull the plug on this fucking relationship that hasn't really ever had a good day?
Or are we going to have to just in perpetuity be like, yay, Kyle and Amanda, they made it again.
It's nice, you know, you could say it sort of lets a little bit of the air out of the balloon of like the drama.
But I overall am like, I'm just glad I don't have to pretend for 18 weeks to be.
like, will they won't they? Will they won't they? It's like, no, it's pretty clear they won't.
And so I'm glad we don't have to pretend. The rest of the episode, you know, it's good. I think this season
is going to be interesting. I'm curious to see how much of the air, the Kyle and Amanda stuff,
sucks out of the rest of the season. Because I'm sort of hoping that we got like a bunch of it
in the first episode, and then now it's going to kind of go to, like, low boil simmer point
for the rest of the season, maybe with a couple of, like, soft peaks, and then crescendoing more
at the end, I'm mixing a lot of metaphor. There's, like, soft cooking, there's music, there's
riding the waves. We're just a lot of different things going on, but you know what I mean. Like,
I don't want to spend the whole season being like, man, Kyle still sucks. Kyle still sucks.
another episode where Kyle still sucks, because other people suck too. And I hope that they get the airtime they deserve.
We do have a lot of new people this season. We meet four of them in the premiere. And there's still, I think,
a couple more that aren't on this first episode. Lindsay also not in the first episode. She is going to be
in and out this season. But we have two new girlies, Bailey and Levi, who both cry at the first dinner.
Interesting choice. You know, they're talking about their past relationships.
I like being open and honest.
The crying right off the bat kind of puts you in a weird spot.
It's funny.
I'm really enjoying the dynamic that's developing between Sierra, Amanda, West, and Jesse already this season because Paige is obviously not here.
And so Jesse is like getting indoctrinated into the gossip girls.
He's going to be in the bed.
He's going to bring the information, but he's not going to let the information out.
And then Jesse comes, West comes into the room after dinner and he's like talking to them.
and Sierra's like, why are you talking to us when there's two new girls in the house?
And Jan West is just like, because they're crying.
Like, yeah, that's a little tough.
Carl's feeling amazing.
He's got around the marathon.
We need a little more from Carl.
Like, the running is not a storyline to me.
So, like, a little more.
Love you.
But like, let's get it pop in.
Let's, what's it going to be?
But the episode ends, again, like a weird spot because
they have this Fourth of July party that's like country fair themed they have a petting zoo i'm like
okay who a lot going on but people jump in the pool as they are want to do and amanda is wearing
like her underwear and kyle freaks out because he's not in the pool he comes over he's like
Amanda what are you doing why are you top why are you topless in the pool first of all like
okay dad like what are you doing first of all and second of all like she's literally
not topless. She's in her underwear. She's wearing a bra. Like, if you're wearing your clothes and you don't
have a swimsuit on and it's like, oh, people are jumping in the pool, I feel like wearing your underwear
is like the appropriate thing to do to not be naked, but to not get your clothes wet. And they're
like, mic'd like her microphone is probably on her. I just like, first of all, like, literally she's not
topless. Call me Amanda
Francis looking up the definition of
Acosted over here. The definition
of topless is no top.
The bra is, she's
covered. We're not seeing any bits
and pieces. Like Kyle needs to
chill. Because if it's all,
if it's this energy
for all of Summerhouse,
and then we have in the city that's
happening after, which we got like a new,
not really like a teaser, but like a little like
promo, you know,
content, it looks, they're doing a good job
with it. It looks good. But it's like, if we have like six months worth of Kyle being like a
jackass to look forward to, it's going to be tough. But that's where we are with Summerhouse.
I'm excited for this season. We have a long way to go. So let's talk now. Let's talk about the
Karen Huger of it all because she's home. She's back. And they gave her a whole episode.
And I was wondering, I think last week I was like, are we seeing any of this?
the like Wendy Eddie arrest stuff, like this Andy conversation.
Like I was not expecting to have a full like 43 minutes of Andy at the Huger's house.
And it really is like just that.
I mean, we get a little more of the initial like her leaving jail and going home and
seeing her family and stuff.
Like that, you know, it's nice to have that footage.
And then, you know, probably 35 minutes of the episode is Andy going over to the
Huger's house at night and Karen comes down the stairs and her.
in her slides and her little blush, not beige, it's a blush little shift dress.
She looks cute.
She looks good.
You know, fresh out the slammer.
She's ready to talk to Andy.
And how did we feel about the talk with Andy?
Because I think it was a little bit of a mixed bag for me.
Because when I watched it, like my first reaction was honestly like she has.
changed her tune quite a bit from the last time we heard from her, which really was during
season nine of Potomac when she had already been arrested but was awaiting her trial and her
sentencing. And she spent that whole season basically just shutting down any conversation
of the incident, any conversation of her issues, if she had a drinking problem, what was going on.
and it really seemed like she was very strongly,
not only not wanting to talk about like legal proceedings or whatever,
but like frankly,
pretty in denial about whatever was going on in her life.
And that was not fun to watch.
It was not satisfying at all.
It wasn't like enjoyable.
She wasn't like giving us anything really.
So watching this conversation with Andy,
the first kind of layer of my reaction was she's come a long way to be like,
like her or not, she has changed her tune, I think, in some very important ways. And I mean,
to be, to be frank, though, like, she couldn't get away with not changing her tune. Like,
she just was in jail for six months. Like, you can't really go to jail for six months and then be like,
I don't, this isn't, you can't leave me alone. Like, if she's going to stay on the platform,
if she's going to stay on the show and come back to the show, I think there is sort of like a base level of
atonement that needs to happen and acknowledgement of her issues of what she maybe wasn't honest
about in the past. And, you know, she's talking about the videos that came out of her arrest
and admitting that she didn't watch the videos before she decided not to take a plea,
which is just crazy. And she also, I think, I liked hearing her give, basically give credit to her
legal team that like they when we were saying like why are her lawyers not telling her to take the
plea like she's like no they were i i did not listen i have good lawyers and they were advising me
what i should do and i just like couldn't accept it so that's good to know and then in terms of
the actual you know like substance abuse and addiction parts of it i thought it was really
interesting that she was seemingly more willing to be open and specific about her abuse of
prescription drugs and her, you know, she's working in the Narcotics Anonymous program now.
She was seemingly more open to talking about that than she was about her relationship with
alcohol, which it's just like we already know. Like, like, we know you're going to tally ho and
getting drunk and then driving the car four times. Like, it's, I don't, you know, if she's, it seems
like she is treating both of those things as addictions and working on her sobriety in both areas,
but maybe more leaning into the NA side of things just in terms of like the program that she's
working. But it was, it, it was seemed like a interesting choice to me that she is like more
comfortable saying, oh yeah, I was abusing this type of medication. Then she is saying like, oh yeah,
I was an alcoholic or am an alcoholic. Um, but you know, I think it's good. Overall, those things
were good. Not good, but like, good to hear her be more open about it. But where it gets kind of
funny is like there are still some of those like Karenism.
where it's like the Grand Dom has never gone away.
And she can take accountability for certain things.
She can be honest about certain things or admit that she wasn't honest about certain things in the past.
But at the end of the day, Karen's going to be Karen.
And there were a couple of moments in this special where Andy's asking, first of all, Andy spent a lot of time getting into like the nitty gritty about like
the details of her
incarceration
experience where I'm like
I don't actually care what she was wearing
in jail. I don't need to know
like the bathroom situation
and
when he goes
how did it feel to be so
stripped down? And she was like
well let's be clear Andy
I had on my bra and underwear
and he's like I meant like metaphorically
stripped down
like you were in jail
without your whole like Karen thing.
And then the funniest moment, oh my God, it's just like so classic.
When he's asking her about what she was wearing and she's like, well, let's be clear.
First of all, let's be clear is like the official sponsor of this episode with Karen.
Because she's like, well, let's be clear, Andy, I wasn't a jumpsuit.
And he's like, oh, orange.
And she goes, beige.
And, you know, I probably, now you probably, I will probably not wear beige for a long time after that jumpsuit.
And he goes, you are wearing beige tonight.
Well, Andy, this is blush.
Baby, it's beige.
Like, Mama, that is a beige dress.
I don't care what lighting you're in.
I don't, like, it's some, it might not be blush.
It's semantics.
That's what it is.
It's like, you're wearing a beige dress.
But that's just like, that's Karen.
And you kind of can't not love her.
I don't know.
She also, the other interesting thing in this special is that she very pointedly gets in a couple of different digs at Wendy.
And that is where I'm kind of really curious to see what the energy is like at the reunion.
Because Karen is going to be at the reunion for part of it.
And the one thing that's missing from this special episode is we do not see Karen reuniting or seeing.
any of the women from the show. And I'm, I'm genuinely curious, like, what is her dynamic like
with Giselle after she has gone through this? What is her dynamic like with Ashley? How are she
and Monique going to be when they see each other for the first time in probably a long time?
And with Wendy, we know it ain't good. Because, first of all, Andy's asking about some, you know,
rumors that Wendy had said she had heard that Karen was getting drunk at the mall every day or
whatnot. And Karen's like, well, first of all, Wendy lives in Timbuck, too. So I don't know who
she's talking to. And it's like, yes, I will, I will always laugh at a dig about how far away
Wendy lives. Because if you have seen that map, you know, Wendy lives damn near in another state.
And so it's like, Karen may have gone to jail, but at least she still lives in Potomac, honey.
She's like, let's not get it twisted. Wendy still lives in the middle of fucking nowhere.
And I still live in that, whatever that zip code is, that is the Boogie Potomac one.
But then kind of the bigger deal is Andy's showing her on the laptop footage from the season nine reunion that she did not attend.
And specifically, Karen had sent like a video message to that reunion where she was thanking, you know, a bunch of people for their support of her.
She thanked Andy.
She thanked, you know, production, like lots of, you know, she was giving her acceptance speech of going.
to jail or whatever.
And she specifically didn't thank Wendy.
And Wendy was big mad about this.
She was, you know, I should have been in the video vibes.
And Karen addressing this with Andy says, well, Wendy knows why she wasn't thanked in the video, period.
What does Wendy know?
What happened?
What's going on?
We need answers.
And that is one thing I'm going to be on alert for at this reunion is like,
If Karen is saying something like that, obviously there is some nugget that we're not getting.
If Wendy knows why she wasn't in the video, either Karen's making something up or there is some secret between Karen and Wendy, and I would like to know.
Share it with the class.
Please.
So I'm hoping at the reunion we get some clarity on that.
I'm hoping we get some sort of like full circle moment kind of with Karen and the group.
But yeah, I thought it was an interesting, I thought it was an interesting special.
I didn't, I didn't know that we needed like the full hour, right?
Like when Andy's asking about like the food in jail, I'm kind of like, I could go watch documentaries about what it's like to be in jail.
Like I don't need like Karen talking about the food
But you know I guess it made sense that this like existed outside of the context of a normal episode or the reunion
But I hope we don't have to see too many more of these ladies stop going to jail
That's the thing I don't how many times am I going to watch a housewife in a van on the way home from jail
No more jail
And I look we've we've got a roster there's going to be more jail
That's my prediction for 2026.
There's going to be more jail.
I don't know when.
I don't know exactly who.
I have some ideas.
It's going to be more jail.
And that's that on that.

Okay. Now over to a show where no one's currently in jail. Currently. Currently? I'm like checking my work.
No, there's nobody from Beverly Hills in jail right now. Right now. Has there ever been? Well,
Erica maybe got the closest, allegedly. But I could see at least one person in this cast going to jail at some point.
I'll let you figure out who. But we've picked.
up at Erica's birthday dinner where Amanda has reminded us that she did not appreciate being verbally
accosted by Doreet at Rachel Zoe's house where she shared that it was the three year anniversary
of her son dying. And I'm like, again, like, I just am like, I'm so bored of Amanda's
bullshit at this point. And I'm, I'm interested in it. I'm like in.
I'm intrigued by the bullshit, but it's just like such bullshit.
And it's kind of crazy to watch week after week that now really like aside from, you know,
this week we have the Kyle and Doreet stuff that's starting to sort of pick up steam again
of their issues with each other.
But other than that, Amanda versus everybody is really the main thing that's going on.
on this season, which feels kind of crazy.
Because Amanda's getting into it over this accosted thing.
And she's standing her ground and saying, no, like, I, I, this is not how I am, you know,
used to being interacted at a dinner.
And then, like, Kyle and Doreet start getting into it because Dorete finds out that it was
actually Kyle, who was kind of criticizing how Dorete was talking about P.K.
and saying that it could come back to her and that Amanda was actually just like agreeing with her,
which is not 100% true, but whatever.
And Rachel, Rachel Zoe makes an interesting point.
And I have to say, so far this season on Beverly Hills, Rachel Zoe MVP,
rookie of the year.
Because she is like, she has such a keen sense of what type of commentary to give in the moment.
And obviously she is not new to the reality.
TV game, but the way that she is just kind of like dropping banger after banger in her
confessionals and also I think in the moment.
But when she's saying with this stuff about talking about P.K.
That we all in this group need to be able to vent about something to someone else in
the group that's happening in our life and not be worried about how that's going to come back up
or be used against us.
And this is really the crux of the issue with with this PK thing is that like if Doret is, you know, going through it in her, you know, separation and talking to Amanda, it's one thing for Amanda to like have opinions about it.
But then for it to sort of be this like vicious cycle of, oh, now it's being talked about behind my back.
like it's just going to cause more problems.
And, you know, Kyle is like now inundated and this thing of like, oh, you were talking about
how Dorit was talking about PK.
And Dorit's like, you know what's really going to cause a problem for me with PK?
You talking about it behind my back.
And then Kyle tells Dorit to grow up.
And that just like, a chilled on my spine because I'm like, oh, these, like, Kyle and
DeRite, it's crazy because like for two women who were a sense.
like good friends for several years, like, they kind of hate each other. And I feel like it's
been dormant so far this season for the most part. Like we haven't really brought it to the four.
But now I'm like, oh, there's like, there's spiciness here that is pretty strong. And Kyle telling
Dorete to grow up and even Erica saying that Kyle needs to stay out of Doreet and P.K.'s
divorce. Kyle is sort of, she's waiting back into the messy waters that she, um, that she created
last season, never forget when Garcel was like, I heard that Kyle Texas Piquet. We're getting back
to that place. And Kyle does still seem to be sort of torn between like who she wants to protect,
whether she's Dorit's friend or whether she's like Madame strategist is stuck in the middle and
looking out for everybody's best interest.
It's like, I don't think that's like,
she's like sitting on the fence in a way that just is not flattering for her.
I don't know if anybody looks good sitting on a fence,
but like Kyle's used to doing the splits.
Like, you have to pick a side.
And it feels like she, really,
it feels like now for the second year in a row,
Kyle is unwilling or hesitant to fully just be team to reet.
And I think that at this point,
we're two years into this separation.
There's been a lot of shit that's gone down.
Derreet needs people who are going to be 100% team Derreet.
And I don't think Kyle is willing to do that.
And I think if that's Kyle's choice, that's okay.
It is what it is.
But then Derreet's going to do what she needs to do,
which is kind of be like, hey, Kyle's not my fucking friend.
And by the end of the episode, when she's talking to Rachel Zoe,
that's pretty much where we land.
But back to Amanda for a second.
She's like, you know, this is just the communication style I'm used to.
I've never left a dinner party crying before.
And when we get, really?
I thought you ran away from a cult.
Imagine saying that to someone.
I mean, I love it.
But like, imagine.
I've never left a dinner party crying before.
Really?
I thought you ran away from a cult.
vicious.
In vicious and delicious,
that's what it's just like the exact
worst best thing
to say in that moment.
I thought you ran away from a cult
because we were talking about it last episode
on the blog post.
You ran away from a cult.
And it's like such a nasty thing
to throw in someone's face.
But like, were we not thinking it?
She's never left a dinner party crying before.
It's interesting.
to me, I mean, sort of similar to what we've seen, you know, in a lot of situations where
somebody's new to the group and they sort of have to get used to the way that things are done around
here, everybody is really on the same page with how they are talking to Amanda about this,
where they're saying, like, we all, you know, we all Google each other in the group. We all talk
about each other in the group, you know, Bose and Rachel and everyone are saying, like,
if you're having a disagreement or a conflict with someone or even just like something that
you're working through, you're not in control over how that person presents to you,
whether they come at you with aggression, whether they come out you with, you know, emotion or,
you know, intensity.
That, I mean, first of all, that's part of like adult human interaction that you just like can't
control somebody else's approach.
but also you're on real housewives of fucking Beverly Hills.
That's what we do here.
We are going to a dinner party and we are going to talk about it.
Lisa Rina is going to smash a wineglass on the table and say don't talk about husband ever.
Where do you think you are?
You think you're going to come onto real housewives of Beverly Hills and keep your perfect record of never leaving a dinner party
and tears intact, rookie behavior.
And like, just, like, are you dumb?
You're going to cry.
Somebody's going to yell at you.
Like, if you, like, I am not on real housewives.
I don't want to get yelled at at a dinner party.
So I'm not on real housewives.
To be honest, nobody's ever asked me.
I don't think I fit the demo.
But, like, if you don't want to be in a situation,
you know that, is it like a whoopey gold,
or a Kim control quote where she's like,
I don't want to be in a situation even for an hour where I'm not enjoying myself.
Kim Cottrell shouldn't join Real House Eyes of Beverly Hills because, baby, you're not going to enjoy it all the time.
You're not going to have fun all the time.
You need to fight.
Somebody's going to yell at you.
You're going to cry.
That's what this is.
And if you, like, truly, if you cannot take the heat, then get out of the fucking kitchen.
Manifest something else.
Go money queen somewhere where that's a pretty.
appreciated because it's not here.
And I, I, I'm enjoying, like, I'm enjoying what Amanda is like,
unlocking for us to, to discuss this season because I do think it's quite interesting,
but she's not doing a good job at being on this show.
When she says that her body interpreted the way that Doreet spoke to her as a physiological
threat, get a grip.
Get a grip.
Bose is like,
Bose is like,
you're in a fantasy world.
If you think that that is how people are going to handle conflict,
that's not real.
And it's,
it's kind of shocking to see how much they are all in agreement
over the way that Amanda is approaching everything this season.
Crazy.
And we're still only like halfway through this season.
Woo!
Let's talk about traders.
Spoiler alert.
Wee, wee,
turn it off if you don't want it.
tough episode of Traders.
Not like bad.
It's just my bias is showing because it's like last week Lisa got banished.
And then that was sad.
And then for a second it was so good because Colan got murdered.
So we don't have to see him anymore.
We don't have to look at his little smug face.
His little like, you know, stalker eyes.
and that was nice
and then right away
it was bad again
because it was like
Candace
Candice girl
she fucked it
and so back to back
episodes
we have housewives
getting banished
no
it's just like
it was supposed to be fun
it was supposed to be fun
and it was so fun
and we had Candice and Lisa
and the turret and they were being like devious together.
They were like giggling with Rob and that was fun.
And then in the blink of an eye, party's over.
Dorinda's still there.
God bless her.
I'm like, is Durinda going to win this season?
Wouldn't that be funny?
But the thing is, I knew that Candace was in trouble because that fucking vote for Rob last week.
And really, that's what ended up being a big part of her downfall.
Candice, I think her toxic instincts just reared their head just a little bit at the exact wrong time.
Because if she had had a random throwaway vote for Rob or for anybody else, weeks prior, I feel like she could have just kind of brushed it off.
but when it happened the week that everybody had aligned on voting for Lisa who ended up being a traitor
and Candice had made this inexplicable random vote for Robb it just set her up for failure
and that was kind of what was predicted after last week and it ended up coming true and it
to be honest only got worse for her when she decided to murder Colton because after Lisa's
banishment. You know, they've gotten out a traitor. There's only two left. Alan comes to the
turret and gives them the option that they can try to recruit a trader or they can murder somebody.
Rob wants to recruit because, you know, strategically it probably makes the most sense to have
an extra trader. Also, he doesn't trust Candace as far as he can throw her because she voted for him.
But Candace is like, I think I want to murder. And Rob's like, okay, I'll let you pick.
And she picks Colton. And look, like, as much...
much as I want to be like war is over, ding-dong the witch is dead. I'm so glad Candace
murdered Colton, which I am. Like, I'm not not. It's not a good strategic move because Colton
is somebody in the game who has had some of the most scrutiny around him has really been
like ring leading a lot of these roundtable votes, has just had a lot of attention on him.
and in the game of traitors, that is generally not who you want to murder if you have other
options that will arouse less suspicion.
And so Candice votes with her heart, as of course she does.
And Rob also, I think, sort of screwed over Candace because it turns out that Rob had known
that the prior day Colton had been throwing out Candace's name to people.
And so when he got murdered, that was going to arouse suspicion on Candace.
And Rob was like, hey, you picked the person.
I'm good with it.
Whatever.
He was upset because Colton was his bestie.
Again, questioning Rob's judgment a little bit.
If Colton's your bestie, like, pick better friends.
But that's where we're at.
Immediately at breakfast, people are looking at Candace.
And it's just like, I feel like from there, the episode is just like not that
fun. And I think I'm being a little negative just because I'm like, I miss my girls already.
Like, it's getting dark outside and it's getting scary in here. And yeah, we still have like Tara
Lipinski and Kristen Kish is still there and Natalie and her tragic outfits and Dorinda, obviously,
and Mara, Mora's kind of getting on my nerves. I just, I'm like, I feel like she's like a little,
she's like with the guys too much. It's just like, we.
With Lisa gone and with Candace gone, like, I'm missing something.
I'm, my heart hurts a little bit with traitors this week.
But Rob at the end of the episode.
So, you know, Candace gets banished.
It was, it ended up not being that fun of a roundtable because Candice kind of
talked to the whole time.
And I was like, girl, enough.
Too much.
But I think her, I think it was already a done deal for her.
But the funniest thing that Candice says at the round table.
is that she says,
Rob was using Colton to deliver information,
like bringing up Lisa's name,
like as a traitor,
he was using a faithful to kind of be his mouthpiece.
And she says,
to me,
Colton was being used as Rob's beard.
Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
To me, the word beard in that context
is a very specific use,
which is that you're like a gay guy
who doesn't want to,
who's in the closet and so you have a girlfriend and the girlfriend is your beard and candace
candace has always been a word smith do you remember where is your income roach that tweet iconic
her using the term beard to describe a a straight man using a gay man as his mouthpiece to get
information out from the turret to the faithfuls on traders is just like inspired
but also baffling, which is kind of the Candace experience.
She gave us a lot to work with this season.
I appreciate her contributions.
I think she made some strategic missteps toward the end there.
But, you know, hats off to Candice.
I hope we see her somewhere else in the near future.
But after this banishment, first of all, everybody's like, wait, sorry.
Wait, so who's the other?
I think Rob is like doing a good job.
I mean, he has been.
He still has the dagger too.
But he goes to the turret.
And Alan comes in, it's like, okay, bitch, now you got to recruit somebody.
There's only one of you left.
Can't do the murdering stuff again.
And so he's like, oh, God, who should I recruit?
Who should I recruit?
I could do Johnny Weir because everybody thinks he's a traitor.
So then he gets picked as a traitor and then he gets voted out right away.
I'm like, huh?
Does everybody think Johnny Weir is a traitor?
Where have I been?
I don't know.
But then we find out he recruits Eric.
Sweet little Eric.
I'm like, okay. First of all, every week that Eric is still here, I'm like, oh, okay, cool.
Hope you're having fun. Don't really know you. Still don't. But he recruits Eric, and of course the
episode leaves us on a cliffhanger of whether Eric accepts his fate to become a traitor.
But the funniest thing is that when Eric picks up the little note that's like, oh, hey babe, like,
meet me in the turret. I have like a, you know, proposal for you or whatever.
his name is like written out by Rob and it's like the most classic boy handwriting you've ever seen.
Like absolute chicken scratch.
Like no disrespect, but like that is so the handwriting of a man from Alabama who catches snakes for a living.
Like he's not holding a pencil very often, let's just say.
He goes, okay, so I got the ultimate.
made him letter and it's in the traitor's handwriting. And the handwriting is so obviously
Johnny. He made the same mistake that he made earlier in the season when he was blindfolded
and he heard the fucking laugh. And he was like, it was Tiffany. And he now he's like, I see the
handwriting. It was Johnny. First of all, no, it wasn't. Second of all, like, okay, I haven't been
paying attention at the roundtables. So correct me if I'm wrong. Does Johnny Weir have middle school
boy handwriting. Johnny Weir? I'm sorry. Johnny Weir's handwriting. If that is Johnny Weir's
handwriting vibes, he needs to get himself to a penmanship class because like Johnny Weir should have
gorgeous handwriting. Johnny Weir should be like addressing envelopes in calligraphy. That's the
vibe that Johnny Weir gives off. So I should I should roll footage and see, see what his handwriting has
been like on those chalkboards.
But I'm just like, oh, sweet baby Eric.
He is not good at this.
And if he's a traitor, I'm just like, okay, go girl, give us nothing.
Like at that point, recruit like Natalie or Tara or like somebody fun.
I need fun traders.
And now I don't feel like Rob is fun because he like got the housewives out and
things got like messy with Candace because she was taking it personal and saying that he's a snake.
and I'm being a baby.
This season is still fun.
I still have traitors, you guys.
I think I need a nap.
And so I think that's where we're going to end today.
