Starting point is 00:00:46 Welcome back to the Mention at All podcast. I'm Dylan Hafer, and I'm so excited to have a returning guest in the studio today, a former Real Housewife of New York, and now she is back. Kelly, Colora, and Ben-Simone. Hello. Hello, Dylan. I'm so excited to have you here and to have a, brand new show that you're on to talk about. So much fun. Did you ever think you would be back in this
Starting point is 00:01:11 cycle of, you know, you're, you're on the show, you're doing press. Here we are with episodes to recap. What's, what does it feel like after 12, 12-ish years? I know, so long ago. It feels great. You know, Luanne's been trying to get me back on the show for so many years. And it just feels, you know, I was on obviously a million dollar listing. And, you know, it's just be, it's fun to be back in the Bravo world and I'm having the best time. I, it was so fun seeing you at BravoCon because when you were on Real Houseways of New York, it was a completely different world of like the Bravo fan, you know, universe. And now it's like such a huge thing. Everyone's in Vegas. It's just like craziness all weekend long. What does it like to kind of come back to this world that you,
Starting point is 00:02:01 I mean, you did help to build it the first time around. Well, let's give like a clap to BravoCon. I had so much fun. I was so overwhelmed and like by all the fans. Like I literally like almost started crying on stage just because they were so beautiful and talking about the girls and just being. It was just, I was really, really overwhelmed in such a good way. So that was that was so much fun.
Starting point is 00:02:23 And just, you know, I have so many fans that I work with in real estate. You know, four of my big deals came from fans. from Bravo. They just have watched me on television, they know who I am, they see me on social and everything. And it's just been, it's been really, really good for me, you know, professionally as well. But coming back to Bravo and obviously being under the microscope again, I mean, it's so much fun. I mean, my under eyes could use a little love. But, you know, apart from that, I'm good. You're like, these cameras are a little bit clearer than they were 15 years ago. Everybody's talking about my mascara. And I'm just like, they're like, you look so good.
Starting point is 00:03:01 I was like, do I know? One thing, though, actually, I was thinking about this as I was watching the first couple episodes. I love that you guys are all just like doing your own hair and makeup and everything and really just on this trip as a group. Because sometimes on Housewives, it's very like everybody has the Glam Squad coming in. And then we have the, you know, the stylist and the assistant and whatever. And it's like, it's the six of you in a house just letting it, letting it go. Loose. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:29 Letting it so loose. I mean, you know, first of all, I have psoriasis. So that's the reason why I wear my hair down all the time is because I don't want people to see my psorias. And so I was kind of, you know, insecure about it. And then I'm just like, you know what? I'm in St. Bart's. I'm going to put my hair off.
Starting point is 00:03:43 And I'm just going to do whatever. And people see my psoriasis, like, too bad for them. Like, I'm just going to just enjoy myself. I think people have a lot more that they're paying attention to on this. I love you, Dylan. Was it in my little suriases? Was it an easy decision? for you to come back and do this show, having been kind of away from that, you know,
Starting point is 00:04:06 scrutiny like you were saying for so long? Or did it kind of, did you have to think about it for a while? You know, again, WAN's been trying to get me on for so long. And so, you know, when they asked me to be on Legacy, I was like, you know, because I have a lot going on in my life. And I was like, they were like, what's going on? And I like, we kind of talked about it. And they were like, this is your life? I'm like, this is my life. They're like, in one day, I'm like, yeah they're like oh my god okay we need to talk to you um so i think it's just fun for people to see like you know where i've come from and um i think you know the whole thing of like how i work has always been like people are like do i do multiple jobs um just so i think it's nice for people to see like
Starting point is 00:04:48 how i've navigated and provided for my kids and nurtured them and they're you know doing so well and so i'm just so proud of them so i think it's just you know interesting for them to see and hear that as well. It's wild that like your daughters are like full adults. Oh, you're 23 and 25. Like it's not even like, oh yeah, like they're a little older. It's like, no, like fully formed, off on their own. Yeah. C works for UEG. Teddy works for Acelain. Educated, the best education, like beautiful, beautiful girls, like really fun. You would love them. They would love you. I mean, they're just fun. Everyone's like, I want to hang out with your daughters because they're just like very New York, cool, fun, spirited.
Starting point is 00:05:29 Did your daughters have thoughts about you doing a show after all this time now that they're older? Obviously, they don't really have to participate in girls' trip, but I'm sure they, I mean, they experienced housewives the first time around. Well, after I wrote, I Can Make You Hot in 2011, which forecasted the whole body shaming movement. You know, they were, there was a producer that wanted to do a show called, I Can Make You Hot. And my kids were like, you have to do this show. So they've been really also very proactive and really interested in me being back on television.
Starting point is 00:06:04 And just to be like a role model to a lot of, you know, young women who, you know, are, you know, coming of age, who are, you know, their first jobs, you know, navigating the new world, the brave new world. And, you know, they've been really supportive of all of that. And so it's just fun to be on this show. Because it really allows me to, you know, like sit back and just kind of like, tell it like it is. Yeah. One thing I love about the girls' trip vibe that's different from your sort of regular housewives show is that there is kind of that sense of pulling back the curtain and breaking that fourth wall and talking about the experience of being on the show. But then it's funny because I feel like even when you were on the show before, you did kind of have that, you had that sort of. sort of feeling of like Kelly's going to say what Kelly wants to say no matter what. So for you was,
Starting point is 00:07:01 did that feel different or were you just kind of like, yeah, okay, let's let's get into it. I've always talked about the fourth ball. I'm always like, I literally were like after we finished shooting in Morocco, I was like, you guys, you have to have the cameras everywhere because you're missing these amazing scenes. I mean, it's fun to do all these beautiful dinners, but like sometimes these intimate moments are like, you know, really telling to like, what's, you know, going on in a person's life. And that's what, you know, listen, real housewives, you know, they, you know, they have receipts. They call and snicker on Andy Cohen. You know, they behave badly. You know, their hair falls off their head. There's a lot of things that happen. They flip tables
Starting point is 00:07:42 and do a lot of things. They're all action verbs. But, you know, we also, we get into it. And, you know, we are real women having real life problems and we talk about it. And I think that's one reason we We really, really love it is because they can identify and we resonate. Yeah. You know, it's not a script. It's not a, you know, it's not a television show. It's a docu soap, you know. And so, and I'm always been very real.
Starting point is 00:08:07 I'm not, I'm so unapologetic and I'm not going to sit there and be like, okay, I'm going to tell you what you want to know. It's not going to do it. And that's why people trust me. Coming into the season, I wasn't sure kind of what it was going to feel like because it's this, this eclectic group. think was the word you used before we started recording. And, you know, you had never done a season with Kristen or Dorinda and, you know, Kristen didn't know everybody else. But it was, I feel like
Starting point is 00:08:35 immediately when you guys get there, you can feel that there is this decade plus of history and conflict and resolution and friendship and, you know, times apart and times together. You really do feel that all kind of in the core of this show. And I think, you know, for you to be coming back after so long, I have to imagine that there were some thoughts in your head going into it of like, okay, like, where do I stand with this person? Where do I stand with this person? How, you know, what level are we at if you haven't really spent that quality time together in such a long time? How did it sort of compare to your expectations being back with all these women? You know, I didn't really have expectations, and I never have had expectations.
Starting point is 00:09:22 And again, that's why I resonate because people are just like that Kelly Ben Simone is real. She tells it like it is. And when, you know, I call bullshit all the time like that is such bullshit. Like, reenter, like, close your eyes. You know, do I'm always like, stop. Let's start over. Rewind the tape. Reenter is.
Starting point is 00:09:40 I was like, come on. Me enter. Please just be normal. And stop ruining my hand at that. I don't. I've never had one before. So just, you know, I don't have any expectations. I mean, you've interviewed me many times.
Starting point is 00:09:59 I'm always the same. You know, I am brutally honest about things. You know, I just was really excited to just go in there and just share my new world. You have to remember, like, this time around, so we were on Scary Island and then, you know, we went to Morocco and now we're back in St. Bart's. And, you know, my two youngest daughters are moving out of the apartment. I'm moving out of my apartment that I've lived in for 30 years and raised them in. So there was like the next day, I was on a plane. Plus, you know, I have, you know, a lot of work going on.
Starting point is 00:10:32 And, you know, real estate does not sleep. It doesn't care if I'm on a plane to St. Barts or, you know, it doesn't matter. So just had a lot going on. And I just was like, I'm on a plane to St. Bartz. It's so good. I was very happy and I was really excited to do it. Yeah. So good.
Starting point is 00:10:49 It's so good. Everything you want for summer is at Nordstrom rack stores now and up to 60% off. That's OLLLY.com. So with Kristen and Durinda in particular, because you hadn't been on the show with them before,
Starting point is 00:11:47 did you, I know you didn't necessarily do research in terms of watching all the past seasons of the show. But did you have any kind of inklings about what that was going to be like? Or were you just kind of like great two new friends? Well, Kristen reached out to me before. And we have a mutual friend who I love. And she said, I want to strategize with you before we go on the show. And I was like, no, I'm not strategizing.
Starting point is 00:12:12 Obviously, you don't know who I am because I don't strategize. I don't Google people. I mean, I do that for my real job. So it's like, I'm definitely not doing it for this. You're like, this is a vacation that I happen to be getting paid for. Yeah, I'm like, I'm not going to Google anyone. So that kind of turned me off a little bit. Derinda, you know, there were a lot of people that had said some things about her.
Starting point is 00:12:33 And I'm just a very, it's like I meet you and then I make my own decision. I don't need the narrative of people. And I already get people. I know what the story is. You don't need to tell me, like, you know, where you came from or what your story is. I get it. And so I just, you know, when I, I've met her so many times before and she's been so funny. And leave my youngest daughter
Starting point is 00:12:55 is like, Mom, DaVinda is gold. I'm like, oh, she's amazing. And she is. I mean, she just cannot make up what she says. Like it just comes flying out of our mouth. She's amazing. So I was excited. The first day when she and Kristen were
Starting point is 00:13:11 kind of going back and forth and she said the thing about the pigeons don't fly with eagles. But I already did that. I already did. This is me. This is you. And we're not friends. I already did that. So I was like, thank you for, you know, taking over. And many people have done that.
Starting point is 00:13:27 Switched up the metaphor a little bit, but it's the same idea. It's the same metaphor. I just like this. I mean, many, many, many housewives. And they've done it on television too. Like I'm like, oh my God, that was on a television show. So yeah. But it was very funny.
Starting point is 00:13:40 And I was just like, I thought we were talking about my boobs. And all of a sudden we switched to pigeons. I was like, my boobs did look really good in that scene. I'm not going to lie. You never, I mean, you just never know. Yeah, no, it is, it is funny because I feel like this group, it's like, it can go from sort of zero to 100 so quick. But then also it can go back down to zero where you guys are just laughing and having fun with each other. And so it really does.
Starting point is 00:14:06 It feels like every episode, there really is this kind of like roller coaster where it's like, okay, we were we were so angry. And now we're just like, hanging, flirting with guys and having a good time. And I literally am like eating and drinking. the entire time. And then I'll be like, if someone says something that I don't like, then I'll respond. And then I go back to eating and drinking.
Starting point is 00:14:30 I was like, oh, that was important, but not as important as this lobster. I mean, the food, the seafood, like you can't get. Seafood, eat food. I mean, it was just amazing. And Luens, her Luann's, eggs of lafonsez are incredible.
Starting point is 00:14:43 Okay. Did you see Dorinda? She made me like a little smiley face. She's so cute. So cute. The night when Ramona invited those guys back to the house. It was just so funny because it was like, it was so hard to get a grip on like what was, who was in, whose interest level was where. And then Kristen
Starting point is 00:15:05 stuck like babysitting the man at some point. Like it was just so chaotic. Like, was that something you were expecting? One of them started DMing me and he was like, I'm going to give you the best French night of your life. And the other, another one took like sand off my feet. And so he was like, I'm the one that took sand off your feet. So I'm like, I had two guys that were like, hi. And I'm like, I think you're my daughter's age. Yeah. So young.
Starting point is 00:15:30 So young. So nice. So nice. So cute. They were so funny. But I love my, I love my little French friend that was like, you're going to have the best French night ever. I'm like, I was married to a Frenchman for a long time.
Starting point is 00:15:42 And I speak fresh. Please. Been there. I got it. I was like, when Ramona was inviting guys over, I was expecting it to be like, I don't know, like bankers or something. something. It's like all of these. Like it's same bar. It's offseason. I mean, what do you expect? I don't know. You never know what you're going to get with Romano truly.
Starting point is 00:16:00 100%. But I love that she brought them. I was like, this is amazing. Yeah. So with Kristen, you said that you kind of got like a little bit of a vibe that you didn't love before the trip. And then on the trip, we we get this montage of her asking all these questions about things that have happened when she hasn't been on the show. What was it about that that rubbed you the wrong way? Because obviously, lots of people watch Housewives, you know, it wouldn't be strange for her to have seen episodes that she wasn't on. But clearly, you guys just kind of had a totally different approach going into this. I mean, first of all, the strategizing before kind of rub me the wrong way. And then just, you know, watching her try to produce me. I'm the one that did the number two and
Starting point is 00:16:43 three scenes of all time in reality TV. I don't need to be produced. I'm just fine on my own. So that kind of was just like, I was just like, I don't want to talk about episode four season one. Like, I just don't want to do that. I want to talk about what's happening. And we don't need help. Like, we don't need help. We've got so much going on that we don't need like, you know, the host saying, like, it's time to talk about this. It's time to talk about that. Because just, honestly, it just really, you know, outlines how she doesn't want to talk about herself. And she had a lot, You should have a lot to say. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:18 It is, it's tough when when things like, you know, the story about her husband and all of that, like when things happen sort of off the show and then you come back into the arena, it's like you have to expect that people are going to be interested to hear about it. And I feel like, you know, Sonia bringing up Dolly Madison or whatever. That's a cupcake, by the way, just in case anyone's wondering. I think they made those little white. donuts too. But it's like I...
Starting point is 00:17:49 Of course I know that. I do think it's tricky and I really liked in the third episode when you sort of brought up the misconceptions maybe that people had about you when you were on the show before about the people thinking that there was this money tree and that you were just kind of like floating through life without a care in the world. I think it's that's one of the cool things about watching a show like this with kind of that hindsight that it's like people. maybe got an impression that wasn't real and now you can sort of correct the record a little bit.
Starting point is 00:18:22 Right. And I think just from like watching social for so many years, people are like, wait a minute, that is not Kelly. I know Kelly because they see me. They see me passing one exam, another exam, this license, doing all this stuff, writing this book, that book, they see me doing all this stuff. So it's not like, you know, the fans know what I'm doing. And, you know, I just, I get, it's like, I just don't want to be produced. And I don't want any of us to be produced. And I know when something smells rotten. I mean, I'm, I know.
Starting point is 00:18:54 But I also understand when people, you know, when people are guarded. I mean, no one's more guarded than I was. It was very guarded because I was being, you know, blasted against the wall. Like, you're just, there's a money tree. You can do whatever you want. And they were just like throwing me against the wall. I'm like, I don't know what you want for me. I'm standing up for myself.
Starting point is 00:19:12 They're like, okay, I'm going to go after you again. I'm like, okay, continue to. I'm just going to keep standing up for myself. And I just, you know, I know what that felt like. And I just was, you know, I'm always trying to protect people too. I'm always the one that's like, that person's good. Like I try to find the good stuff about everybody just because it's my nature. And I just, you know, it's like it's important to be honest on these shows because what's the point if you're not?
Starting point is 00:19:42 Yeah, I think it's interesting with. this group in particular, the conversations about friendship on and off the show and sort of who, who's closer to who and who's checking up on who. And you could tell that Sonia was kind of, it was, it was getting to her a little bit that she felt like she was maybe being attacked a little bit for, for how she exists in her life. And I do feel like that's something that when you've been around someone for so long, like you, it's a really complicated thing. And that happens, I think even for people that aren't on TV shows together. That's what's the difference, the fundamental difference between Ultimate Girls Trip and
Starting point is 00:20:20 housewives is that, and housewives, like, we check receipts, and it's not just a receipt from the coffee. It's like, did you see that person? Did you actually, you know, see them during the summer when we weren't filming? And, you know, a lot of people, a lot of women get really upset when you're like filming with them for, you know, six months. And then all of a sudden, you're just like, thanks, bye. And it hurts their feelings.
Starting point is 00:20:43 And I think that, you know, that's on this show, too, it's hard too because, you know, people want to spend more time with Sonia. But again, it's like she's welcome to do whatever she wants on her own personal time. But I think they're just trying to say, like, we want to spend more time with you. And I love to spend time with her. She's hilarious. Yeah. Like, she's just so funny. And, I mean, just like in the car, I'm like trying to get the moke going.
Starting point is 00:21:08 She is doing cameos and putting me on her cameo. while I'm trying to get the car going. And I'm like, I'm like, can you wait, please? Like, she's like, oh, my God, Kelly's here. And I'm like trying to get this car moving so we can go have lunch. And she's just so funny and just, you know, unapologetic. And she's just, she's delicious. That's a great word for her.
Starting point is 00:21:29 Watching, watching people make cameos is one thing. That's come up, I think, on a few different seasons of Ultimate Girls trip. And it is just, I think for, like, fans, it is the best thing. to possibly see. I'm the one that put Luann on cameo. I'm like, go make some money. Sonia and Luan, like, comparing their cameo prices. And Ramon is like, well, I don't want to have to do too many of them.
Starting point is 00:21:55 Like, it's such a, it's such a, like, niche thing. But at the same time, so you like doing it? I love them. When I'm in the car on my way to showings or wherever airports, like I, because it's fun. Because it's like, I don't know about other people's cameos, but mine are always either happy birthday or they love a certain thing that happened and they want to kind of have a video of me like having this micro conversation with them. And it's just so great. And I mean, I've been very successful on Cameo for the past whatever many years. And it's been so much fun.
Starting point is 00:22:28 Do you always keep your price the same or is it like, do you go with the demand? I think I raised it recently. I think I raised it like in the past like six months I raised it. just because there was a lot going on. You're like, I'm going to be back on TV. I need to like. No, this is before I was on TV. Okay. Just because it was a lot.
Starting point is 00:22:47 And I just was like, you know, some people were like trying to get me to do things for marketing and, you know, I don't like to market things for free. That's not fair. So that was one thing that I raised the price of that too. Yeah. Well, it's like, right. Like, I'm not going to be like shouting out your business for. People are like, can you comment on my, you know, sofa?
Starting point is 00:23:05 I'm like, no. Like, what's sofa? No, it's something. And also like, when you were. It's like a testimonial. I'm like, why would I? I'm like, what? Like that's a different payment structure.
Starting point is 00:23:16 Right. But it's like 12 years ago. That comes with a scope of work. 12 years ago, like that, that wasn't a part of the reality TV experience. 12 years ago, there was Facebook. Literally, Facebook had just started. Did you ever, you had to write the, there was no social media. You had to do the Bravo blogs back in the day.
Starting point is 00:23:35 They were so fun. I just love those. Do you wish that you were doing those for this season? Well, I love blogging because I was literally. literally the first blogger for Elle.com. Because you were doing the L accessories and- And before that, when I was at Columbia, my professor was like, I want you to get involved in writing, you know, online.
Starting point is 00:23:56 And he, and L.com started their first blog and I was their first blogger. Wow. So like, I love blogging. It was so fun. And I was just like, I have no idea what you're talking about. I'm not sure. But it's like, nobody's great. the Bravo blog.
Starting point is 00:24:12 By the way, like, if I was continuing to do those blogs, they would be like, history. Like, people would be like, oh my God.
Starting point is 00:24:19 I'm like, what? I was always like, what question mark? Exclamation point. Study and play. Come together on a Windows 11 PC. And for a limited time,

Because this is something, okay, this became an issue that Luann was bringing up, that you don't invite her to the Ranger games or you don't bring her to the Ranger games.
Starting point is 00:25:35 Can you talk through your Ranger game connection and how that became a thing? I have been going to the Rangers and to the Knicks for since 2006. You're like the queen of Madison Square Garden. And, you know, just love the whole vibe there. It's so great. I've taken my kids there forever. I think that's one of the reasons when my oldest daughter works in sports management.
Starting point is 00:26:03 So I, you know, it was Valentine's Day and I asked Luann to go to lunch and she was going to lunch with her money manager. And so I just, you know, came to lunch with one of my friends from Florida. And I was like, you should go to the Ranger game with me. And so she, like, remembered that. And, you know, so recently I just was like, you know, I was just like, I'd love to take Luann to the Ranger game. She was like, no, I can't go? So I was like, okay. But I'm going to take her in January.
Starting point is 00:26:31 I'm like, well, can you go this day? I'm like, here's nine days. Right. Right. But I see, here's all the home games. Pick one. But by the way, this is the funny thing. is so that we have this group chat, right?
Starting point is 00:26:41 And so on the group chat, I put, like, I invited Luann, ex-Pung, and she declined, and then I gave them all of the dates. And they're like, we're not invited. I didn't invite them. They're like, this is all about Luan and we're not invited now. Well, it's funny because I think, like, anyone can relate to that where it's like, oh, yeah, you, like, said a thing and, like, maybe it'll happen. Maybe it won't.
Starting point is 00:27:06 But it was just because she wanted to meet a guy. Right. Like they pin... Like, I wish you was like, I want to spend time with you because I love you and I miss you. And I want to like, you know, snuggle up and watch aristocats and drink bottles and bottles of wine and our underwear. That's wanting to spend time with me.
Starting point is 00:27:21 Okay. Not going to a range you to meet a guy. It's like, okay. I'm just your chum. You know, like... Right. Like, we can hang out. Like, I'm around.
Starting point is 00:27:30 We can hang out with nobody. Yeah. Just us. I thought it was like for the other women to sort of clock that it wasn't really about the rate. like the Ranger game was kind of this like thing to throw out there, but that the dynamics between all of you in the group are super interesting. And I think it also speaks to something about you that even though you haven't been like,
Starting point is 00:27:53 quote unquote, in the group for a long time on the show, that like you still have relationships with all of these women. Right. And you see me when, you know, we start, it just doesn't, it's not like, it's like I've never been gone. Right. It would have been a much different show. if it was like, oh, here's this mysterious person that none of us have seen in 12 years.
Starting point is 00:28:14 Like, that would have been, I think it would have been a strange, it wouldn't have felt right. And like, I think you being on this season, like, makes perfect sense. I mean, I missed Tinsley. And I obviously, because I know Tinsley from a long time ago. And she was like a publicist at Juicy Couture in like 2004. And I miss Jill. You know what I mean? Everyone misses her.
Starting point is 00:28:34 And, you know, I would have been nice to like be on vacation with her, with, you know, just to hear about her new life and her. daughter who I love so much Allie. So, you know, that would have been fun to, like, have those guys. I think they did a great job. The show is bananas, wild, fun. And, you know, it was really fun to film. Yeah. It was really fun to film.
Starting point is 00:28:55 You can tell. Yeah. I mean, I was having a great time. I mean, even when people are yelling and screaming at me, I'm still having a great time. And I think that annoys them. You're like, yeah, whatever. I'm rolling with it. I was like, okay.
Starting point is 00:29:08 I love what you just said. I'm just going to eat some more lobster. I'm curious. So Girls Trip, obviously, is a more contained sort of one-off experience than doing a show where, you know, the cameras are in your house and following your life and all of that. Does this experience kind of give you a hankering to do more another show, another season, whatever it may be? Or do you kind of feel like this was a fun way to dip my toe back in? now I'm going to go, you know, sell some more real estate and, you know, live my life. Well, I'm definitely going to sell more real estate, but I definitely think that there's more
Starting point is 00:29:47 to come, whether, you know, I really wanted, I really wanted the legacy at the beginning, just because it's time for people to really see, like, like, who I am and where I've come from and where I'm going. I mean, you know, I have a real job. Like, I mean, I'm licensed in two and a half, almost three states. It's like hours and hours and a lot of work. It's not just like, oh my God. People are like, you sell real estate.
Starting point is 00:30:13 It's like, I'm sorry, what? Right. It's not like a, it's not a little like side project for you. No, it's a very big job. And so, and I just want people to see like, you know, where I've come and how I've done all this stuff and, you know, how I do everything, whether it's writing books, whether it's like, you know, the relationship with my kids. I just want people to see it.
Starting point is 00:30:32 And I was very vulnerable on the trip and I was really open to everyone. You know, the first thing I did when I got there is I sat down with everybody and was like, tell me what's going on with your life. Tell me how you are. So when we were sitting in the meals, like, I already knew. I wasn't, didn't need a producer because I had already asked them questions. And like, I spent time with them to get to know, like, where they were so that when we were, you know, when we were having our meals, like, I knew what was going on.
Starting point is 00:31:00 Intel. Yeah. Intel. Something I'm very, I'm curious about. I've been asking everyone recently. And I'm curious for your take. How, if at all, do you feel like doing reality TV over, you know, such a long time changed you as a person? Listen, I wouldn't be sitting with you today, Dylan, you know, if I hadn't been on reality TV.
Starting point is 00:31:20 You know, I was an editor. I was a model. You know, I was more of a behind, you know, after being a model, I mean, you have to remember, I started modeling was 15, like 15 years old. Like everyone's like, oh, my God, me and my high school experiences, my high school experience. I was with my twin brother in a private school with 20 people in my graduating class, and I was traveling the world at 15 years old. So like the way that I was raised is totally different. And I'm just so grateful for for Real Housewives because, you know, I have like, I have a group of friends who, you know, good, bad or ugly.
Starting point is 00:31:58 Like, I really appreciate them. You know, I have a lot of friends. I have a lot of great friends. And I just feel like they're a part of that. I'm just very grateful for who I've become through, you know, this world. Yeah. And it's, you know, I've had a lot of incredible opportunities. I'm not going to sit here and list them for you because it's a very, very long Santa Claus list.
Starting point is 00:32:20 But, no, I'm super grateful. Yeah. I mean, yeah. Yeah. I definitely made, you know, lemonade out of lemons 100%. And it was all from Bravo pushing me. Totally. I think that that kind of early era of housewomen.
Starting point is 00:32:35 especially when it was kind of this like new frontier of, you know, it is what you make of it. And there's so many of the women that were on the shows in those early days really have built kind of incredible things from that. It's pretty impressive. And I guess, you know, I think one of the biggest lessons is not just what they've built, but the ability to pivot. Yeah. Like that's something people always like, you should pivot.
Starting point is 00:32:59 It's like, really? No, you pivot. It's like, we just know how to pivot because that's what we do all the time. whether it's like conversation or whether it's like the narrative. We're always like having to like move around. And I think that's one of the biggest, you know, things that, you know, I've learned to really, really master is how to pivot. Well, I mean, you're here today. And I don't know if, I don't know if you asked a few years ago.
Starting point is 00:33:25 You're such a cutie. You are. You guys can see Dylan. I always love chatting with you. Little lamp shop. You are. Well, I always love chatting with you. And I'm glad that you're back back on our TVs this season.
Starting point is 00:33:36 You guys, it's so much fun. I mean, you have to watch it's the gift that keeps on giving. It's a great season. It is the best season. I went in not knowing what to expect. And I have been having a great time watching it. So I'm excited to see the rest and excited to see what's next. I mean, this is just the beginning of a new era for me.
Starting point is 00:33:51 And I can't wait for you guys to see everything that's going on in my life. Yeah, KKB, 2024. Not for president. Not for president. Just the new year. Just the new year. Kelly, on that note. On that note, love you.
