Mention It All - It’s Snowing In The Valley
Episode Date: April 23, 2025Back from vacation, Dylan has just one thing to look forward to: a new episode of The Valley. He digs into another heavy episode, which sees Jax Taylor officially hitting rock bottom, as the entire ca...st takes their turn holding mini-interventions. While he continues to blame everyone but himself, Michelle and Jesse are still making each other miserable, and the Janet/Kristen/Zack drama triangle is going strong (despite Brittany’s lack of interest). Earlier in the show, Dylan unpacks Mia Thornton’s announcement that she’s leaving RHOP, and shares some exciting Mention It All news. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Betches Media presents.
Ha ha, laugh, funny.
Mention It All, a Bravo by Betches podcast.
We don't say that, but now we said it.
With me, Dylan Hafer.
We're going to check me, boo.
Hey, everyone.
Welcome back to the Mention at All podcast.
I am so happy to be back today.
I had a nice vacation last week.
I hope you guys enjoyed my episodes with Lisa and talking about the Valley premiere.
And we are getting right back into the Valley today with another man,
just a true dozy of an episode. This season, I can tell, is just going to be action-packed for better or for
worse. And we're going to get into all of Jacks's mini-interventions and rock-bottom moments and
allegedly perhaps staged phone calls with treatment centers. I don't know. We'll get into it.
All in due time. But speaking of the Valley, we have some exciting news. Next week, we are going to have
Kristen Doty and Nia Bucco on the podcast. And not only that, but you are going to be able to watch
the full interview on video.
We are launching video episodes on our new Always on YouTube channel.
I'm really excited.
We've been working really hard to get the video looking great for you guys.
So I can't wait for that to drop next Tuesday.
And the Always on YouTube channel will be in the link in the description when that
episode comes out if you're looking for it.
But I'm excited for you guys to hear that interview.
I had a really great time talking with them.
A first time having, I think, two, I'll say very pregnant women on the podcast.
But it was a lot of fun.
They still brought all the tea, all the drama, all the everything.
I do just want to talk about before we get into the valley, something happened while I was gone.
And this is that Mia Thornton announced her departure from the Real House Stories of Potomac.
Now, this, if you watched this most recent season, not a shocker.
And honestly, something that I think most of us, I'll just speak for myself.
I was hoping this would happen.
because this last season, Mia objectively had so much interesting storyline going on in her personal life,
but the way that it manifested on the show was just so exhausting.
And it felt like it kind of sucked all the oxygen out of the room in a way.
And I don't think that Potomac is a show that needs one person to be sucking all the oxygen.
These ladies can create story out of thin air, and I'm excited to see next season what the rest of them do with a little less Mia to focus on.
But I love the way that she announced her departure because it couldn't just be one post.
This is Mia.
It has to be extra.
And so she did a full photo shoot with a fake newspaper that she made or that somebody made.
You know, somebody was hard at work on Canva.
somebody had to go to the FedEx office to pick this up.
It was the Mia Moore Times.
And not only did she post the photo shoot with her announcement, but she teased it.
She teased it with two, not one, but two feed posts on her Instagram.
She had two different versions of the newspaper, you see.
Because when she finally posted the actual announcement, the headline is Mia Thornton moves to Atlanta,
which, of course, Giselle already kind of spoiled that for her at the reunion when she's like,
girl, people saw you in the back of the plane.
But Mia, you know, she is moving to Atlanta.
But before that, she posted two different posts where she's holding the newspaper.
And it just says, coming soon.
Coming soon.
And she's in her fuck-ass bob.
She's wearing like the blazer dress with no pants.
She's looking like sleigh business diva.
Like she's got some business to attend to.
She's making a big announcement.
And finally when she posted it,
there's a long caption and I'll just I'll read a little bit of it she says with every new season
comes a new beginning and I have some news to share my family and I have made the decision to relocate
to Atlanta and with that I will not be returning to the real housewives of Potomac next season
she says it's been an unforgettable journey growth lessons memories she thanks you know the production
company the network Andy Cohen yada yada yada um to her castmates she says thank you for the
laughs the lessons and the unforgettable moments
And to the amazing fans, your love and support has meant everything to me.
I'll always carry that with me.
I love when people leave housewives and act like it's the last day of high school and you're signing everyone's yearbooks.
Like, have a great summer.
No, these girls hated you.
They were dragging your ass.
You're like, wow, I will never forget the time in eighth grade when we had so much fun at the sleepover.
And it's like you're ignoring the part where you stopped being friends and they bullied you for all of high school.
I don't think she has that many fond memories from the Housewives of Potomac.
Like what?
Does she?
Is she delusional enough that she thinks this was a great positive experience for her?
I guess that's the question.
But she says the next chapter is already full of exciting opportunities and I can't wait
to take you all along for the ride.
Big things are coming.
And then she says, I don't just make headlines.
I make history.
Atlanta, brace yourself.
The empire has expanded.
Hashtag legacy in the making.
this is really amazing because what are the opportunities what big things are coming does mea think
that she is joining real houseways of Atlanta next season because i feel like she thinks she is and
honestly do do we want that i'm really no now i'm now i'm thinking now i'm really thinking do we want
that no no no no no no we don't no no see i'm tempted but no the answer is no real house size of
Atlanta is like good right now. I'm going to talk about that more on Friday's episode because I'm,
you know, been gone catching up, but Atlanta's good right now. Even without Kenya, I'm still enjoying it.
No, Mia, Mia, thank you for your time. Thank you for the four seasons. Thank you for the memories.
Thank you for the music. But it's, it's, I think we're good. We're good for now. For now, at least.
But somebody else is leaving too. And that's Jack's Taylor, because he's,
checking in for 30 days of an inpatient treatment program, or at least 30 days is what he's paying
for. Whether or not he stays the full time remains to be seen. But this episode of the Valley,
it's like, it's tough because we started the season. We got that little flash forward montage
of Jack's hitting rock bottom. We rewind it a week. And now it's a little funny because it's like
it's episode two and we're already at the flash forward part.
Like, I get why they did that for dramatic reasons, but I am kind of like, you could have
just let the first two episodes play out.
It's only been a week.
But we get a lot of tough conversations this episode.
And I really want to applaud a lot of the people in this cast for not putting up with
Jacks's bullshit this season.
I mean, Jacks has been on TV a long time.
People have made questionable decisions.
He's gotten a lot of free passes.
You know, I don't want to condone every decision that everyone has ever made in dealing with Jacks Taylor.
But I appreciated that these first two episodes of the season, we saw Schwartz giving Jacks the tough love he needed to hear.
We see Kristen giving it to Jacks, really telling him what he doesn't want to hear.
This episode, we see Danny and Jason going over to the house and really leveling with him and being
honest and the fact that everyone in this group can see and is is willing to tell him to his face,
bro, this is rock bottom for you. This is serious. This is your thing that you need to deal with.
They're not letting him put the blame on Britney. They're not letting him talk his way out of it.
Kristen going over to his house and he's saying, I mean, okay. So I'm not, I'm not to
justify it, but there's a reason why I did what I did. I didn't just, you know, fly off for no reason.
And Kristen's like, you're doing it again. You're justifying it. And she says, your feelings are valid.
You can be pissed. You can be scared. You can be upset. You can be whatever. But that the valid
feelings don't mean that your physical reaction is valid. And that flipping a table, flipping a chair,
the bar stool is broken yada yada yada he's punching holes and walls none of that is excusable and
none of that is you know an automatic thing that happens because you saw a sexy video that
brittany was sending to some guy and it's crazy like we see so many people having this
conversation with him and he is incapable of
taking a step back, viewing it from a different angle of removing the blame that he's putting
on other people, the way he's telling the story to Kristen is still putting the blame on Brittany.
It's like, right, right, right, I shouldn't have thrown the chair.
But don't you think it was fucked up that she was, she was, you know, hooking up with my
friend for all this time. Don't you think that? And it's like, it doesn't matter. It doesn't
matter. Because, you know, whether or not Brittany broke the rule that you guys said you were going
to keep, which by the way, Jacks also did because his, you know, quote unquote, friend page,
where the way they find the absolute most, like, raunchiest photo you can imagine of this woman
page, she could be, she could be wearing business casual every day of her life. If she wore that
swimsuit once, you know that's the photo they were going to find. You know, this is a
I was going to say it was like Sports Illustrated swimsuit vibes. Not even. It's like when they used to do like the, the like Maxim Hot 100 or whatever, like where it was like, oh yeah, like the sexiest ladies. Like that's the photo that they find of Jacks's friend page. Friend. Their word. Not mine. The one who left the thong with the baby wipe on top of Britney's sink. It just, yeah. No, watching Jacks do this over and over again, I was a little, I was surprised that this was happening.
so early into the season. But after having seen these episodes, I'm glad that it is happening this
early because if we had to watch five, six, seven episodes of Jacks do this same song and
dance about, oh, man, yeah, you know, oh, man, I feel so bad. But isn't she a slut? That would be
so frustrating to watch week after week. And it would be so like, just boring. Honestly, it would be
boring. Because that's the thing. Jack's Taylor, you know, he's good TV. He's drama. He's chaos.
Yada, yada, yada. It's old. He's old. It's gotten old. Like Brittany said, he's 45. 45.
And so, you know, we'll talk.
more about his last scene with Brittany in a bit because I don't want to kind of jump the gun there.
But I'm really glad that this is going the way it is and that we're not going to have a whole season of Jacks Taylor just spiraling out.
Because nobody needs that. Nobody needs that. I do love that Britney, while all of this is going on with Jacks, is like being brought to, you know, she's sitting down with Janet and she's hearing about all the stuff that,
Kristen and Zach did. And then she's meeting up with Zach and eating Chinese food and sitting with
her feet in the pool, which like, that's such a, such a TV activity where it's like, okay, come over to
my house. We're going to put these cartons of take out Chinese food onto plates and we're not going
to see us eating it. And then we're immediately going to go sit out by the pool in the backyard with
just our feet in the water and have a conversation about life stuff. Like, like, sounds kind of nice.
I don't know.
Going to the pool after eating Chinese food to me seems like the wrong order.
Like you got to swim first and then eat all the MSG.
Like it's not the right kind of, I don't know, whatever.
I hope they had fun.
But Brittany kind of this episode being like, look, I understand why y'all are mad at each other.
I'm not saying these issues aren't real, but like, I've got real issues, y'all.
We're grownups.
We're adults.
because
So Zach is literally
crying to Brittany
crying about how he feels like Janet
has put a literal
wedge, a literal wedge.
It's not a literal.
It's metaphorical wedge
between him and Brittany
and he's crying.
And if I were Britney in that moment, look,
I know that Brittany and Zach are friends.
Like I'm not saying that
this is all fake.
But you know sometimes when you like,
you have that person in your life that's like a little too earnest or like just doing
the most emotionally and you're kind of like, yeah, love you too.
Yeah, like, yeah, I'm like, they're like crying that they're like,
I'm so glad you could be here to celebrate my birthday with me.
And you're like, yay, I like brunch.
I was free.
So here I am.
Brittany just like doesn't have the time for this.
And I hope that through the course of this season, she kind of continues this vibe of like, are y'all okay?
Because the whole issue between Kristen and Janet and Janet and Zach, like, it is such a, it's dumb.
I mean, it's dumb.
The stuff that Zach said about not giving a fuck about Janet's pregnancy, yeah, it's messed up.
It's messed up.
Like, it's, it wasn't like a good thing to say.
Kristen, I understand why she's hurt by the comment that Janet made on Gibson's pot.
Like, I get why people's feelings are hurt.
Also, these people are paid to have their feelings be hurt on this show.
Like, we kind of need that for it to work.
But it's not that deep.
It's just not that deep.
And, you know, when Janet's like, I was really disappointed that my conversation with Kristen at Britney's white party went the way it did.
because I felt like I was apologizing.
And I felt like she just didn't want to like, who cares?
It's not that deep.
It's not that deep.
And Brittany knows it and she sees it and she's calling it out.
And she just has bigger fish to fry.
The other stuff that Brittany and Zach are talking about, we hear that Jacks is, you know, surprise, surprise, making Britney feel guilty for not checking in on him and being like, you have time to text sexy videos to my friend.
but you don't have time to check on your your poor sad husband that threw a chair at you?
Get, fuck off.
Fuck off, Jacks.
We do learn also about Zach's relationship situation with this guy, Benji.
And I will say, I appreciate seeing a messy gay relationship situation depicted on Bravo.
But at the same time, this is making my hands.
headspin. He's like, so this guy, right? We love each other. We met on a dating app. Wink, wink, wink. It's like,
just say Grindr. It's 2025. We met on a dating app and we love each other so much, but we're currently
broken up because he's from Canada and he's getting deported. And also he's married but separated,
but we're still figuring it out. It's like, wait, sorry. You lost me like four steps ago.
though I don't know exactly what his immigration situation is.
Obviously, I know that's stressful.
I know there's a lot of variables.
But the way that that is just like casually sprinkled in as if it's like, oh, you know,
like I wish he had a better job.
You know, he's sexy, but I don't know if I'm always into him.
Also, he's getting deported.
Also, he's married.
It's a, sorry, what?
Also, he's married.
He's married.
He's currently married.
But then I'm just so confused because this is happening and he's saying they're broken up.
And he's talking to Brittany about, oh, they're both single.
Let's be each other's way women's this season.
We're going to have so much fun this summer about being single.
And then by the end of the episode, they're on FaceTime and Benji and Zach.
And they're like, yay, let's be together.
So you are going to live in California?
Okay, we'll figure it out.
Whatever.
He-he-he.
I love you so much.
I thought he was getting deported.
What do you mean you're going to come live in California?
I'm just confused.
I just, but also I'm confused, but at the same time, do I want the answers?
I don't know.
I just don't know.
It is for, it's tough to me because I feel like the two queer people on this show, Zach and Jasmine,
last season they were kind of like side characters.
Jasmine more than Zach,
but we didn't really see Zach's personal life last season on the show,
aside from his drama with Janet.
And I hate to say that the first time we're really getting a peek into his
relationship,
I'm kind of like,
I might be okay without that.
I might not need that.
And I said last week,
I love Jasmine,
but she and her girlfriend are like happy and boring.
And so I don't know kind of,
I feel like a bad,
a bad gay person.
Because I'm like,
do I not want the gay love story on the valley?
Do I,
do I care more about Danny and Nia,
maybe having a fourth child and maybe getting a big old mansion in Santa Clarita?
I might care more about that.
Maybe it just hits too close to home.
Now,
I've never had a married,
Canadian getting deported boyfriend.
Like that's not my specific experience.
But I just feel like sort of the like parameters of this relationship situation feel a little
familiar.
And maybe I'm not ready for that.
But I'm glad that it's happening.
I'm glad Zach's getting his moment.
Zach with the Lego hair, you know, he's crying about Brittany.
At least he has something to look forward to now that maybe his boyfriend, maybe his
boyfriend's coming back to California.
Man, I don't know.
I hope that, I don't.
I hope he doesn't get to port it.
That seems bad.
So good, so good.

Girl, winter is so last season.
And now Springs got you looking at pictures of tank tops with hungry eyes.

You're thirsty for the sun on your shoulders.

It's time for a little in-person spring treat.
It's time for a trip to Ross.
Work your magic.
Then we get Jesse and Michelle, of course, bickering again.
I am a little bit like, you know, on Atlanta this season, we're watching a lot of women getting
divorced and like Ralph is living in the basement except for every other weekend when Drew has
to vacate the premises.
Which, first of all, that seems like the wildest, worst separation, like custody agreement
that I can imagine.
Like, what do you mean Drew has to vacate?
the premises every other weekend. But that's a, that's a tangent for another day. I feel like Jesse and
Michelle need to like not really be in contact with each other. And maybe this is tricky when you are
starring on the same reality show together. Perhaps that's something that has been taken into
account with their situation. But I'm like, yeah, maybe, maybe we should be handing off the kids and
not really speaking the kid. There's only one kid.
Because when Michelle comes over to Jesse's house, all of a sudden, it's just like the exact same that it was last episode when they saw each other at the white party.
But this time they're arguing about how much he's traveling and he wants to leave Isabella with a nanny and oh, who's the nanny?
And he says it doesn't matter who the nanny is.
And Michelle's like, it absolutely does matter who the nanny is because she's going to be watching my kid.
And oh, do I need to call the lawyer?
I feel like every conversation they have, you know, we've only seen two of them so far this season,
and they both ended the same way.
It's a lot of threatening to call the lawyer.
It's a lot of threatening to have the judge decide something.
It's a lot of, don't you do that or I'll call the lawyer.
It just is like, why are you guys sitting down to have a drink together?
Why are you offering her a lemonade when she comes to your house?
Just like, save it.
Save it for the courtroom.
Save it for mediation.
Michelle being like, I thought we were just going to do mediation to save money, but now I'm starting
to think I might need to like hire my own lawyer. It's like, baby, hire your own lawyer. I think it's
time. I think you got to call this one. It's, it doesn't seem to be going well, but this is when,
I guess I'm glad that they're spending time together because we get, um, an iconic phone a friend.
And that is that there is, um, there's been talk going around that Jesse's new lady friend,
the one who lives in Orange County, who he might move there to be closer to because he loves Orange County.
She maybe has been telling people that she has been seeing other people, specifically maybe somebody who was in the movie Baywatch, or perhaps the TV show Baywatch.
I don't know how far back we're going.
And this person that we call to verify the information, none other than Sheena Shea.
Please welcome to the stage.
Sheena Shea!
This is so funny to me because we got, you know, leading into this.
season, it was like, oh, some of the Vanderpump people are going to be making their way over. We might see
Sheena. We might see Lala. We might see Schwartz. We didn't get a lot of information. We see them in the
trailer for the season a little bit. I didn't have any idea. This was a surprise Sheena moment. This was,
depending how you feel, maybe a Sheena jump scare. But getting the speaker phone call, the speaker
phone call of
Sheena being the one
that was talking to Jesse's lady friend.
Do we know her name?
Maybe somebody does.
I like lady friend, honestly.
I'm good with that.
And she says, yeah.
No, literally, I heard it directly out of her mouth.
She told me verbatim.
I feel like Sheena has like a word of the day calendar or something and the word
that day was verbatim.
Because she's like, no, yeah, verbatim.
She said it to me verbatim.
Yeah, no, she has definitely been sleeping with someone.
since she met Jesse and that guy is the guy from Baywatch.
Now, this couple is so funny because last season we had Michelle with this director at the Chateau Marmont,
who she, I think has now confirmed was Quentin Tarantino.
Like, okay, we're getting A list over here.
And now we have the guy from Baywatch.
Now, I did look at the cast list for Baywatch because I'm like, okay, like Baywatch, I don't think it's like The Rock.
That seems far-fetched that Jesse's Orange County lady friend is also sleeping with The Rock,
who I'm like 95% sure is married.
So like don't the rock allegedly.
Don't, don't suit me.
Please.
You have more money than me.
I promise.
I'm looking at the Baywatch cast list.
I'm like, okay, like Zach Afron.
Okay.
Okay, lady friend.
Get it.
There are a bunch of other people in the Baywatch movie.
There's not a lot of other like hunky guys.
There's like some like actory types.
There's like this guy Rob Hubel who's.
who's like you would recognize him he's in a bunch of stuff there's another guy John Bass who like also it just doesn't he doesn't there's not like a like a
random like a Taylor Kitch or like like some hot guy like a you know that would be like who you would picture and then I'm looking down the cast list I'm like wait
David Hasselhoff is Jesse's lady friend spending time with David Hasselhoff this could be iconic this could be amazing
I just don't know how deep down this hole we're going to get because if Sheena is confirming that she talked to the woman, like there's a lot of through the grapevine kind of stuff so far this season. We're only two episodes in. But, you know, last week we had like, oh, the friend that went to Pilates was saying that you guys are going to be, like, I feel like we need to be bringing these people onto the show if we're going to be talking about them so much. Like we don't like hearing about, oh, this person said to this person who kind of knows Sheena, who I'm.
I'm going to call on speakerphone.
Like, bring the friend.
Bring the guy from Baywatch.
Bring Quentin Tarantino to the stage, please.
I digress.
So we find out later when Brittany and Janet are hanging out with Michelle,
we find out that Jesse's, I'll just stick with lady friend,
is threatening to sue Michelle that she's sending her nasty text messages
and saying, oh, you're talking this, that about me, about my sex life, yada, yada, yada.
I'm going to sue you.
And then Janet says that at the white party, this lady friend who I didn't even realize was there,
is saying that she's going to send them all cease and desists.
What is going on?
I don't even know this woman's name.
How are you going to send a cease and desist when we are talking in, you know, hypotheticals, parentheticals,
theoreticals.
I don't know who this person is.
You sending cease and desist to everyone that TMZ is going to pick up and is going to be in page six,
you're creating a problem that does not exist.
That is called, you're like Streisand affecting yourself.
If you want to be, you know, hooking up with Jesse and maybe a guy from Baywatch,
maybe David Hasselhoff, allegedly, who knows, just like go do it in peace.
We don't know you.
Unless you want to be on Bravo.
That's the question.
Does she want to be on the show?
Maybe she's going to serve it herself.
Maybe she's going to show up on camera and be like, bitch, you've been served.
Now that would be iconic.
Lady friend, if you're listening, I have an idea.

Now we have to get to the tough stuff.
And Jason and Danny, they go over to Jack's house.
They're giving him their version of the intervention, and Jacks knows it.
He says, you know, the more they're talking, it feels like an intervention.
And I'm a big fan of that show, but I never thought I'd be on it.
Well, brother, unfortunately, you've been acting like a Coke addict on TV for 10 years,
and now it's coming full circle.
because the last thing that we get with Brittany at the house is really kind of wild.
And it's tough to watch.
It's upsetting.
It's really frustrating watching Jacks just do this same pattern of behavior that we're seeing over and over again.
And watching Britney really, I think, struggle to deal with him in a way.
way that is going to be productive at all because the emotions are just running so high.
And, you know, something I was, I talked to Kristen about on the episode that you'll hear next week is that
yelling at Jack's Taylor isn't going to create a productive conversation.
Now, it might be that nothing is going to create a productive conversation with Jack's Taylor.
And I think that, you know, I don't, I don't think it's Britney's job anymore to coddle him or to, you know,
make him feel better or to coach him through anything, I just want her to like get out of there and
be okay. And so this whole conversation, I'm like watching like hands over my eyes like, oh my God,
it just is so bad because he's saying, you know, she's saying she had to go to therapy because of
the things that he did to her and made her feel. And he's like, well, if you were so miserable,
you could have left years ago. And it's like, shut up. She could have left years ago.
what was stopping you from figuring out your issues?
You cheated on her before you even got married.
On TV.
You, you know, he denies to Kristen earlier in the episode that he's ever called Britney
Fat, which is just like a big fat, L.O.L.
Like, come on.
We know you.
He's like, also his denial of that being like, I never called her fat.
I love girls who look like Britney.
It's like, oh, God, don't do it.
You're not.
that's not doing what you think it is, I promise.
But no, I mean, Jacks is like fully spiraling at this point.
He's saying that he has all the dates and documents of her hooking up with this guy,
Julian, for five months and that she was sending him pictures of his kid and how,
how is that okay and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
And then he's like, I'm done.
I'm done filming.
This is toxic.
You're toxic.
And it's like, Jack's looking at this situation that he has created and going to
No, I'm out. This is toxic. It's like, sir, you're the sanitation worker. You're the one who's stirring up all the toxic mess.
It's like, looking at the mess you made and being like, who did this? Who said that? You're in a shitstorm of your own making.
Look, is Brittany perfect? Is Britney, you know, always like, right? No, we've, I mean, we've watched this, these people for years and they all have their fair share of quirks and issues.
and everything, but, like, in this situation, brother, this is all on you.
And the fact that he has already, you know, in the scene with Danny and Jason, he's talking
about this treatment, you know, program, he's getting the phone call.
I really feel, I really feel like this is somebody from production on the other end, because
the way this phone call goes, it's like, hey there, yeah, Mr. Couchy, sure.
Okay, on a scale of 1 to 10, how bad would you say your depression is right now?
a nine? Hmm, that sounds bad. Right. So we're going to get you in the 30 day. That's going to be $30,000.
Hmm. Yeah, no, I'd say you should do that. Like, it just is like, wait, is this how like a conversation with like a medical facility goes?
I feel like there's like some HIPAA stuff they're working around. Like they want to show us the conversation, but they probably can't. I just don't think that like checking yourself into a 30 day rehab program is like one 45 second phone call. But whatever. I digress. I'm glad he's,
going. He's like packing his bag while he's yelling with Brittany. And this is when shit really hits
the fan because she says if he doesn't stay the full 30 days that she's going to take Cruz,
she's going to get full custody, she's going to file a restraining order and that he will lose his
job. I think she is meaning that he will not be allowed back on the show. I don't know if that's
like something that Bravo said or something that she's saying or who knows. All I know,
she's basically saying you're going to lose everything if you don't stay the full 30 days at this treatment program.
And he's still, oh, man, toxic.
This is, you're so on for you.
You ruined my life.
And this is when Brittany says, you're the one with the Coke problem and everyone knows it.
And you need to be honest with the doctors.
And I think it's, I mean, first of all, it's like the gag of her like revealing, you know, he already said it in the press or whatever.
But when she says you need to be honest with the doctors, because she knows, she knows that
Jackson is going to get to that treatment program and act like, ah, man, you know, yeah, I've been
deprived, I've been stressed lately, but I mean, my wife is, is, uh, is fucking my friend.
How is that okay?
You can sense the Jackson is the kind of person where even when he is on paper accepting that
he needs help is still going to look for every excuse and every way out and every way of
blaming somebody else for his problems. And so Brittany in this moment, I think almost kind of
calls his bluff a little bit and says, this isn't just you being mad about me sending a sexy
video to your friend or, you know, maybe I was hooking up with him for five months. Even if I was,
you have an addiction, you have a problem, an actual, I mean, addiction is a disease. You have,
you have real health problems that you need to sort out that have nothing to do with me.
And I think that, you know, in that moment, I think that that was kind of really important for
Britney to like be that honest with it. And he, of course, he throws it back in her face. He says,
oh, like, you've never done any. Like, whatever. Like, grow up. Grow up. And she's like,
I would pass a drug test right now, would you? Sick burn.
Sick burn. Team Brittany. I have never liked Brittany more than I do right now on this show. And I obviously am like not happy that she had to go through any of this. But like, hell yeah. She's crushing it. She, if she is, if she keeps up this energy, this is going to be an amazing season for her. And I'm, I'm super, you know, enjoying watching it right now. Even the dark parts, I feel like they're doing a good job with the storytelling. And so.
seeing Brittany, you know, Jason arrives. I guess he's taking Jacks to his treatment or whatever.
So he has a moment with Brittany in the driveway where, and I think this is like a super impactful
moment at the very end where she basically says that having him in this treatment facility is going
to be a relief for her because she will know where he is and she will know that he is safe.
And she will not have to deal with him for 30 days. And you can see how much of a weight
that is lifting for her just knowing that he's going to be somewhere else. And I'm, I'm really curious to
see kind of how the season develops from here, because I feel like this was such a, such an elephant in the
room that we really had to deal with in these first two episodes. And I'm, I'm curious to see sort of like,
what threads that we haven't seen yet become important. How does this Kristen and Zach and Janet
stuff develop over the course of the season? What new feuds might happen that we don't even know about yet?
I'm excited for it all and we have a lot of the season left to go.
But, you know, that's where we are right now.
And thanks everyone for listening.
I can't wait for you to hear and see my conversation with Kristen and Nia next week.
