Ha ha, laugh, funny.
Mention It All.
A Bravo by Betcha's podcast.
We don't say that, but now we said it.
With Dylan Hafer.
Who don't check me, though?
And Barry Rosenfeld.
I need to start drinking alcohol.
Now go to Fleet Week.
Hey, everyone.
Welcome back to the Mention at All podcast.
I'm Dylan Hafer.
And I'm Barry Rosenfeld.
Happy Friday.
Happy Friday.
I always know you're going to say it.
So I like, wait, should not say it.
Because that it's like awkward if we both say it, but it's not at the same time.
But it's super cute if we did, you know.
Aw.
One, two.
Happy Friday.
Sorry, we counted and was still really all.
We're in like middle school, like an assembly.
Well, you know what?
If people are having a bad day hearing our voices in general and also saying happy Friday,
like I could just turn someone's whole day around.
Oh my gosh.
I hope so.
Yeah, I feel like my day needs to be turned around.
I had like a really hard time falling asleep last night.
I didn't sleep either.
I was up at 3 a.m.
4 a.m.
Like it was really bad.
I need.
Yeah, we need.
Can I want to like speak to the manager about my sleep schedule.
We are talking about the summer house finale today and also below deck sailing.
But first, if you're not subscribed to our mentioned at all newsletter, go ahead, check it out.
Betches.com slash bravo newsletter.
Once a week, we're giving you all the bravo stuff.
you want that you're not getting here. It's even more.
Gary, let's get into Summerhouse because a
finale, a great finale of a great season.
Yeah. How did you feel about this episode? What?
I thought it was great, to be honest. It was a good finale.
I have to say, I am excited for this reunion.
Like, it looks, it looks extreme.
And, well, you know, not extreme, but that's, that's, that's,
That's an extreme.
Extreme.
Extreme.
But last night's episode was really nice.
I have a massive feeling.
The cast is going to have a shake-up next season.
What do you have in mind for a shake-up?
Like, what would that mean to you?
If you had to guess.
Okay.
So my feelings might change after we watch Winterhouse,
because I need to see, like, the vibe.
We got our 10-second preview of them playing Tug-of-war.
some substance, but I'm glad we got it.
Yeah.
So I think we need to see that for me to feel it out.
But if Amanda and Hannah are not friends, that's not going to have.
One of them is coming and one of them is going.
Like I don't, I can't see them both being on the show next year.
I, okay.
I, to be honest, like, Hannah isn't really friends with anyone in the house.
I mean, so she and Paige obviously are still, you know, they have their whole giggly squad thing.
they still are like friends publicly.
But like in terms of the general like direction of the house,
it feels like Hannah doesn't, in this episode,
I was thinking about that, I'm like,
who is she really?
Like, is she enjoying any of this?
Like, it's hard to tell.
But then when I think about like,
oh, is she going to be asked back next season?
Like, she's still on chat room.
Like, it's not like Bravo is like, we're done with her.
I know, but you got to see the vibe of the audience and like how it's,
how it's going.
and if there's a fan favorite, which seems to be Page, then, and Amanda, you know what I mean?
If people are marching in that.
I don't know.
I do feel like I can't really imagine Kyle and Amanda, like, not getting asked back for next season.
You know, like, I don't think the show is in a place where they need, like, a big, like, shakeup bad enough that they would, like, fire them to or Carl or Lindsay.
Like, I think that all of them are pretty, like, secure.
if they want to come back.
I mean, we're obviously not going to be seeing Stravy next season.
That's, that's, that's, I'm okay.
I'm like really okay with that.
Really okay with that.
I don't know.
I don't know if we're going to see, like, a big shakeup,
but I could see, like, you know,
if Danielle's really busy,
she could do like a friend of type of thing.
I feel like Sierra and Paige will be back.
But yeah, of course, it's too soon to know.
Last night, I'm watching it happens live.
Andy made it clear because last night it was Kyle,
uh,
Sierra and Lindsay and Sierra yeah and he made it clear that they tried to get Danielle on but Danielle
is busy because everyone's been like why isn't Danielle been on watching happens live yeah blah blah blah
so and he was like I just want to make clear that like we tried getting her on and I was like okay but
just that night like what about it's interesting to me that they waited until the last episode of
her third season on the show to like ask if she was available um like perhaps she could have moved
some things around in the schedule in the last three years but perhaps I don't know but
Justice for Danielle, she had a great episode.
She and Robert are the cutest couple.
I love that Robert has so quickly been, you know, welcomed into the group by everyone.
And it's a stark contrast to how Des was received, which I feel like, that has to be hard for Hannah to kind of see everyone be like, we love Robert.
But at the same time, it's like, I understand.
Like, Robert is, you know, making an effort and, you know, spending time with the whole group.
like acting normal and like, you know.
Yeah.
People,
people care about that stuff when you're like meeting your friends significant other.
Totally.
And you know right away if you vibe or not.
But even last night,
they were asking questions to Kyle about Hannah and he was being very respectful.
You can tell they're not like,
you know, friends or whatever,
but he wasn't like talking shit and whatever.
So that's nice to see Kyle has matured over the years.
But so we we start though with their typical like
drunken night having fun like playing jenga and i just want to say that every time this happens they
show the cameras showing them dance whatever and then like five minutes later you see them all going
all right i'm going to go to bed and it's like midnight as this happens i feel every single time but
you know what yeah it's like they they show like the fun like drinking at the beginning and then
them going to bed i feel like they caught a lot of the like intermediate footage of them just like hanging out
yeah so lindsay is really drunk which she's totally entitled
and allowed to be. And she just, you can, you can just tell that when she gets drunk,
Stravy bothers her. Like, that's when it comes out. Like, she's just bothered by him. Like,
he's boring. He, like, he like stops her fun. And it's just, you know, we just see it.
Yeah. It's one of those things where sometimes the drinking brings out the real feelings. And it's like,
obviously, I don't think she does a good job of dealing with it. It's very,
Stasi dark passenger type of vibes when she's like yelling at Stephen. But I think it's the kind of thing where we see her in this episode sort of coming to a realization that it's like, I don't think my boyfriend likes me very much. I don't think I like him very much. This is probably not like a situation that's meant to last. And I think she has really been sort of, she's been like tempted by the convenience of it that it's like, you know, like I'm in my 30s. I have these
life, you know, milestones that I want to get to. There's this guy who's like here and he,
he did bring me flowers and, you know, like. Which he made a point will not continue every day.
And she, yeah, so it's like, I understand her desire to like try and make it work, but, you know,
they just got back together like a week ago. And so if you're already having all of these like
negative feelings about it, it's like, yeah. No, this is not a situation that's going to last. And I
was glad to see her in this episode sort of start to come to that realization.
And let me just say Danielle is the best friend.
I was just going to say, you said it was her realization,
but it also helped that Danielle clearly let her know.
And that is, she is a very good friend.
Not a lot of people would do that.
They kind of maybe let you figure it out on your own or don't want to like get involved.
Danielle was like, babe, wake up.
Like this is not what you want, which, you know, and she, you know,
Lindsay was a little taken back when Danielle, when Lindsay was like,
am I the problem in Danielle's face?
She goes, she didn't even say anything.
She just nodded.
She was like, yeah, it is.
And Lindsay, I feel like if anyone else were to say that would get mad or be activated,
but she respects Danielle as her friend so much that she was like, wait, maybe I am.
Yeah.
And it was one of those things where Danielle's delivery, I think, was really spot on because
it was like she was giving her, you know, the hard truth, what she needed to hear.
but it was always clear that it was coming from a place of love and from a place of support.
And it was never like, yeah, I mean, like, what are you even doing with that guy?
Like, you know, she was very, she was very like, you know, caring and kind.
And Lindsay needs that energy because, you know, Lindsay can be a little aggressive sometimes, as we all know.

We also see in this episode, Paige is like, has come to the conclusion that she,
should not be with Perry anymore.
We don't see them actually break up,
but it's funny that she thinks
Perry is going to be blindsided by this
because, like, that is not the vibe that I'm getting,
but...
Yeah, like, she actually said it.
She was like, I don't want to be Perry's girlfriend.
Like, that was her, like,
I don't know, moment.
But, yeah, her phone calls to him seem a little,
um, you know,
not enthusiastic.
So, and we have,
haven't even seen them fight, but there's just no, there's no, like, detail in what they're
talking about. So it's like, he always questions and it seems like he, like, wants her to say it,
but she's just, like, checking in. Their phone call seemed like she's checking in during the day.
Right. It's not, it's like, I honestly feel like it would be better, like, it would be better if
they were actually, like, arguing about something or had, like, real issues to fight about. But, like,
it's almost worse that she's just like,
I don't even, I don't even like have anything to say to you.
Like I don't even give a shit.
Yeah, she seems just really nice.
Like if I, in one of the scenes,
I feel like I would have handled something a little differently
where he, I remember him saying,
well, I remember because it literally happened last night,
but he was like, we haven't seen each other in like,
you know, however long.
And she was like, I know.
And for me, I would have been like,
because you haven't fucking come here the entire summer.
Like, that could have been.
avoided. That could have, we could have seen each other, but you haven't made an effort. And then part
of me is like, well, maybe she like literally just doesn't care. And she needed that, you know,
for her to be right. Because, yeah, at that point, it's like, she, she's not like, oh, I wish he was
here right now. She's like, I wish I didn't have to call him right now. Yeah. Of course, the main
part of this episode is the practice wedding for Hyland Amanda. They kept calling it a fake wedding and a
practice wedding. I was like, well, which one? Like, what is it? Well, it's,
It's like both.
I mean, because it's not like a rehearsal dinner.
Like it's,
it's meant to be like a fake wedding.
I think they also called it a rehearsal wedding too.
I was like,
oh my God,
I'm getting so like,
it's all the things.
This was such a nice gesture.
Carl and Danielle are like a plus party planners.
Robert and Luke were building the altar.
Robert cooked a whole like feast for dinner.
It was like a wedding.
They all went above and beyond with this.
I was really,
impressed. Everyone looked great. Um, you know, Kyle and Amanda just seem like really they are in a
good place with each other. Never would have predicted it, you know, two or three seasons ago. But it's
just like, it's so nice to see. I feel like we've seen so much growth with this cast. And I feel like
this, um, finale really just put it into perspective that it's like, these people are all like,
or mostly like real adults and like actual friends with each other.
other and it's lovely.
Well, some of them.
Amanda looked absolutely breathtaking.
Oh, yeah.
She's gorgeous.
The dress, her hair, I was like, how are you going to look better on your real wedding?
You look amazing.
Like, seriously amazing.
Page was asked, there was a little drama, but Paige was asked to be a bridesmaid.
And you know what?
I think Amanda made the ultimate great decision not asking Hannah.
She, like, stuck to her gun.
She was like, how.
I feel right now is not.
And she made that decision without even seeing or knowing half the shit Hannah did this season.
So.
Yeah.
The thing for me is that it's obvious, like, you know, when Hannah finds out the page's
bridesmaid, she's like, you know, I spoke up about how I felt about Kyle and Paige didn't.
So like, this is her reward.
And like, it's not that that's like 100% not true.
But I think there's also just a lot more to it.
And like, you know, you could tell Amanda just felt really.
really, you know, supported and, you know, loved by Paige.
And I think the energy just wasn't quite there with Hannah.
And like we saw in this practice wedding scenario, like, Paige is in the room with Amanda,
like helping her get ready this whole time.
And they show Hannah, like, playing on her phone in the kitchen, which is fine,
but it's like you're not the same, you know.
Right.
It's not like there's just like, oh, like, if I just hadn't said this one thing about Kyle,
then Paige and I would be like equal.
Yeah.
And she wasn't helping set up either, like, when they were building, like, Luke had to ask.
But it was, you know, I can relate to Hannah, though, in that text.
Because I'm like, I don't feel like, I don't feel like carrying dishes.
Like, I just want to chill.
Yeah, like, you shouldn't have to feel obligated to, like, make a wedding for someone else, you know?
It's the last weekend of summer.
I had no idea that Robert was a chef.
Like, is that his career?
He is a chef.
Maybe we will see him on below deck.
Oh, God, no, I don't want to that.
But I didn't know that.
I don't want him to be away from Danielle for that long.
I know.
And they're official.
They're officially boyfriend and girlfriend.
I think they moved in together in real time.
They're going strong.
They're doing well.
Her, like, a way of just scooping in and getting a boyfriend looked so easy.
She made it look so fucking easy for all everyone.
I was like, oh, is that just how you do it?
Danielle needs to teach, like, a relationship course.
Actually, maybe not.
She said this was her first relationship in like six years.
So perhaps not.
Yeah.
But yeah, no, I thought this was a really great way to end this season.
You know, Paige gives a nice speech.
Carl and Amanda have such a nice moment.
And I just, yeah, I'm excited for this reunion because it looks like there's going to be some major shit that's brought to light.
Walkoffs and walkoffs.
There's a few stage exits, which, you know, it wouldn't be a reunion without it.
All right.
Somebody, yeah, now that they got the real reunion, that's not a watch what happens live,
somebody has to walk off the set.
That's like a requirement.
Yeah.

Okay, let's talk about below deck sailing.
I thought this was a fun episode.
It was like extremely, we got an extremely chaotic dinner,
and I love that they are finally allowed to go off the boat
and have an actual night out.
Yeah.
And there's just like so much going on
and there's so much tension between this cast.
Yeah, so they, I need to know like where you land with this because during dinner, in between
their courses, I guess, two or three of them went up and had a smoke break.
I didn't at first think that was the craziest thing in the world.
I actually still don't.
I still don't think it was crazy.
They're the only ones there.
They're just hanging out.
It's like a casual meal.
And I don't know.
I feel like they were on two different pages because, like, I don't know.
I don't know.
I didn't think it was that crazy.
Okay.
Here's my thing.
I don't think it was crazy that they took a smoke break.
I thought it was honestly weird that they were like, you can smoke at the table.
It's like, no, don't smoke at the table.
That's gross.
I don't think the smoke break should have been 20 minutes.
I think that's the thing.
If it was after dinner and they said we're taking a smoke break, take as long as you want.
But it was between courses.
And so I feel like that's the kind of thing where that should be like a five to 10 minute.
You go smoke your cigarette.
Then you come back.
And I think it was just the fact that Danny and Natasha felt like they were just like at the mercy of these smokers that were just like, oh, we're going to take as long as we want.
And like they weren't.
I think it just felt inconsiderate.
And I think like overall it.
like once dinner was over and people were kind of like wandering around this restaurant like
I feel like that didn't matter but that initial one where it was like in the middle of dinner
I was like smoke your cigarette and come back to the table I completely agree I the 20 minute
aspect was a bit long but I think that Danny took it a little too far like she what annoyed me
is when she said like we're all we're a crew like we're all here together and it's like no
like you're not you don't need to like all be holding hands sitting at the table like we've seen before
you're not all friends like it's not that no one can just do whatever they want so I feel like
they were looking at it differently like she got annoyed that they even left the table and they
wanted to she wanted them to all be together so um I think she again alcohol was a little was a bit
involved and I think she got a little more frisky than we've seen her this this um season I was
like, oh, Danny. But, yeah, and then the whole smashing of the cake, the cake was beautiful,
but they were like being petty. They're like, we're not even taking a picture to show them.
Oh, my God. The cake that looked like the Parsifle, that was really an impressive cake. Like,
Natasha could never, honestly. And yeah, they just destroyed it. The thing that was the most,
like, ridiculous moment to me was when Sydney was talking to Daisy. They were,
went aside and we know both on the show and from Daisy who told us in our interview earlier
this week, go listen to the Monday's episode if you haven't yet, that Daisy and Allie are like tight.
Like they, they, they, Alie is the person that Daisy is closest with on the boat. And so why does
Sydney think that it is a good idea to sit down with Daisy and be like, look, I don't understand
what Gary sees in Allie.
Like, I'm prettier than her.
I have a better body than her.
Like, the stuff that she was saying, it's like, okay, first of all, that is like really
shitty to say about anyone.
But especially when you're talking to this girl that you're not really friends with
about her friend.
It's like, no.
Like, what are you doing?
Also, like, you know, Sydney, no offense, but like, Gary told you how he felt about you.
and how he feels about you is like not that interested.
And so it doesn't really matter whether you like objectively think you are pretty or have a better body.
Yeah.
He chose Allie.
Like, sorry.
I have to say in our interview with Daisy,
I was actually really happy that she brought up the fact that she was apologize or was wrong when it came to Gary.
Because that just shows right there that I feel like people automatically think the guy is to blame.
and he made it very clear that he didn't want to like sleep with Sydney in the same bed, whatever.
And while they were on the boat, like, Daisy didn't get.
She was just like, oh, like, you need to do better.
You need to do that.
And then afterwards she was like, you know what?
Like, I apologize because like he did actually make it clear.
So I like appreciated that because I feel like as much, you know, men are usually men.
But like, we don't, I don't know.
I just, I feel weird about that.
Because that could get, you know, kind of.
I think there are certain situations.
in which Gary could have handled this better.
You know, he sent a mixed signal here and there for sure.
Yeah.
But overall, it's like, Sydney is making it to be something that it's not.
And, you know, it sucks that kind of the entire season is going to be, you know, this weird back and forth.
Now, Allie feels bad about it.
And it's like, Sydney, come on.
We've all, we've all been there.
It sucks.
But like, I, yeah, I think it's funny that Gary is the one that everyone's fighting over because I,
I am I haven't come up with a freeze yet but it's when I used to it's similar to when I used to work at a certain company and we used to call them like hot for in there because because I used to work with a lot of women so there if there was one guy everyone would like go nuts over because he was like the only guy there so like you're like you're hot for a band camp like that kind of thing. And so I feel like that's the case with.
with this situation because they're,
but the fact that they're like, well, Allie's not really,
but they're like fighting over this guy.
I'm like, guys, the second you walk up this boat,
you would walk right past Gary because like,
I can't see Allie and Gary being together.
You know what I mean?
Right.
I love the Daisy calls it out.
She's like, you're doing all of this for Gary who's like,
kind of funny, I guess.
Yeah.
Gary has such like frat boy energy where he's like the ruler of the
boat and like the cool one. I'm like, dude, no. Sit down. Yeah. We also see that J.L. is like fully in
love with Danny. Oh my God. He called his mom. He was so cute. He's like FaceTiming his mom like gushing
about how he meant this girl. I feel like, um, while not doing his job. Yeah. He's definitely a little
more into Danny than Danny is into him. Yeah. Um, like, like he's not like imagining it. Like, Danny is
definitely like feeling the vibe, but I just feel like it's like pump the brakes a little bit.
JL, like she's not going to be your wife and that's okay. And Danny, we've even heard her say like,
she's just having fun. She's like, what am I doing? He's like a kid compared to like, like,
I'm just making out with someone. She's not being mean about it by any means, but like she's there
on two different pages. Like he's in love and she's like just having a good old time.
Totally. Okay. I think it's time for us to do our grab the Skiddy Pop moment.
of the day. As we know, endless entertainment calls for endless popcorn. Luckily, every kernel of
Skinny Pop is so light, crunchy, and delicious that we can eat it by the handful or even the bagful.
I got to say, my grab the skinny pop moment is not something that we saw on TV. It is instead the
photo of most of the summer house cast sitting on the edge of the pool. There are tushies.
Carl. Oh, my God. I want to sit and eat Skinny Pop with him. I want to, like,
poor skinny pop in his mouth.
I, oh, if you haven't seen the photo, go look, it's, it's a sight to behold.
Guys, Dylan is speechless.
I needed to grab the skinny pop because I pick my jaw up off the floor.
Carl is taped up and I love to see it.
Okay.
I mean, I love that for you and for anybody else who sees the pick.
But my grab the skinny pop moment is just Kyle and Amanda's fake rehearsal practice wedding.
I think it was so beautiful, so perfect.
Even Amanda said, I wish our parents were here.
Like, I feel like everyone, it was so nice that the whole house was supporting it.
Like, it was, it was beautiful and, I'm excited for them to actually get married in June because.
Barry, would you say you're a hashtag Kai Amanda Stan?
Yes, I am. No, I am.
I absolutely am.
I mean, I think that they have proved.
their relationship and were there times where they absolutely should not have been together? Yes,
but they, they're meant to be their business partners, you know? Right. I feel like they are
one of those couples where like when a couple has like a rocky road earlier on, you can either
go the route where you stay together and everybody's like, they should not be together or you
can like actually fix your issues. Yeah. And I feel like they've totally gone that way. And like,
anybody watching the show now, it feels like it's a completely different relationship than it was
even just last season. And it's really impressive. And I think that shows that they are like
super dedicated to making it work. And it doesn't feel like they're, it doesn't feel like they're,
like trying too hard to make it work now. It feels like they actually belong together. Right. So guys,
if you need Dylan and I to hype up your relationships, just like let us know. Because we're going to
tell the truth, though, don't bring us any messy relationships, because I'll, I'll tell, like, I'll be a Danielle and tell you that you need to get out.
Yeah, for real. So that is today's Grab the Skinny Pop moment. You can grab Skinny Pop yourself at Retailers Nationwide or go to the shop now page on Skinny Pop.com.
