Ha ha, laugh, funny.
Mention It All, a Bravo by Betch's podcast.
We don't say that, but now we said it.
With Dylan Hafer.
Who don't check me, boo?
And Barry Rosenfeld.
I need to start drinking alcohol.
Now go to sleep, we.
Hey, everyone.
Welcome back to another episode of the Mention It All podcast.
I'm Dylan Hafer.
And I'm Barry Rosenfeld.
What's up?
We have many things to talk about today.
All of a sudden, I feel like a lot of shit just popped up in the
Bravo's fear.
Bravo universe.
Wait, what?
Teresa's divorce is finalized.
Oh, yes.
Okay, I was like, oh my God, did I like you?
Well, we have, we have the O.C. trailer.
Oh, my God.
Okay, okay, okay, let's go.
Yeah, I mean, there's shit going on.
I am happy for Teresa.
She's finally free.
I don't know.
Okay, I will say she's not finally free
because she still has that fucking house
that she's trying to sell.
And I'm curious who,
a potential buyer for that house would be?
What would that person look like?
A young single
female who works for betches.
Very...
It's large. It's large.
All jokes aside, that house is very
specific, I would say.
Sorry. It's like Carlton's house,
kind of, but on the East Coast.
Yeah, that's actually pretty accurate.
I feel like Teresa, I would group
in a similar category to so
where I feel like they need to sell their houses
and just live their best life
and live in a place that's an appropriate size.
And I don't know.
I can't picture Teresa living anywhere else.
Is that crazy?
I only know her in that house.
It's weird to picture Teresa living in some like
smaller, like modern home.
But you never know.
I mean, she still has kids in the house.
It's not like she's going to move into some bachelorette pad.
But I don't know.
I'm happy.
I'm happy for her and Joe because I think they both have good times ahead of them.
And, you know.
Totally.
We shall, honestly, maybe we can get Teresa on, like, a dating show.
Like, oh, my God, imagine the Bachelorette.
Like, Teresa's the Bachelorette.
Oh, my God.
That would be so funny.
Guys, we sat down with Sheena a couple days ago.
That episode is going to be out on Monday because it's Labor Day.
So we will be having a special little episode with Sheena.
And she actually, we talked about Sheena being the Bachelorette in a different life.
She did not seem opposed to it if she wasn't meeting Brock, obviously.
Okay, but so Teresa has a bright future.
I'm not so sure that Real Housewives of Orange County has a bright future.
Oh, my God.
If we're being totally honest.
yesterday we got the trailer for season 15
which is of course the season of all seasons
that was fucked over by coronavirus
The only brightness of this is the hair and the oranges
that they are holding
Okay sorry sorry I just had to split that out I'm sorry
So it doesn't look like Gina's gonna be having a good hair season again
Did she in the past?
I think her first season it was like not remarkably bad
Here's the thing
I answered this question last night on, first of all, okay, I love everyone for asking questions,
but sometimes I even said this to Sheena, I believe. People think we do sometimes have more information
than the average person, but we don't know, like, all of the ins and outs of, like, production and
everything of every show. So we don't have, like, all the details. But this season is, like,
seems super unfortunate because like I said, they did what they could. And like we, Dylan and I
discussed this a while ago, should they have just like halted and started later on? Or should
they have done what they did? And we will see what the ratings. Yeah. I mean, I will say I am not
super excited for the new season, but I'm definitely interested to see kind of how they do it and how much
They do the quarantine footage and all of that.
Like, I don't think it's going to be a great season,
but of course we'll be watching and sharing our thoughts.
And if nothing else, it will be different than any season we've seen before.
Right.
And you know what, though?
One last thing, my one thought was, and I was like, oh, no, this isn't good.
All of the clips they took to put together seemed like.
And I know a lot, they do this for every season where they do the most dramatic, blah, blah, blah.
But because that didn't happen for this.
they kind of, to me, it looks like they took all the clips and, like, that's it.
They took the exciting parts from what's going to happen to the trailer.
I will say this trailer, obviously the season trailers, they always show different things happening.
But this trailer feels kind of jumbled to me.
Like there doesn't, other than the fact that it's coronavirus, it doesn't, you didn't get a sense of a lot of kind of arcs building or kind of a vibe for the season.
and it felt kind of patched together, which again, I know they were working with really tough circumstances, but it's hard to, it's hard to imagine that it's going to turn out a great season, but, you know.
We wish them the best.
I am excited that it is starting as soon as it is.
I was worried that we wouldn't see it until more like the end of the year, and we're getting it in a month.
So it'll be good.
Basically, Beverly Hills is going to end, NOC is going to start on Wednesday.
So exciting times ahead, I guess.
Yes.
So last night we had part one of three of the Real House of Beverly Hills reunion.
And let me just say, they look better than people unlike the red carpet.
And this was via Zoom.
And they kind of had to use past franchises to work through their Zooms to get to Beverly Hills.
And they looked like perfection.
Perfection.
I will just say, obviously we've seen the trailer for the New York reunion.
I think the Beverly Hills reunion looks better visually than the in-person New York reunion.
Yeah. No, you're so right.
Obviously, all of these ladies, we saw them getting ready.
And I liked that they included a little clip of the tech rehearsal and the getting ready.
Did you see any masks though during the tech rehearsal?
Because I didn't.
The glam had masks. The glam people had masks.
So obviously they all had their glam teams.
They all look phenomenal, I think, really.
Yeah. Let's talk about our favorite.
They look great.
The tech, the production, the way they did this,
I don't know what kind of double HD cameras or something they dug up and sent to these women,
but they, the quality looks incredible.
My thoughts are Garcell.
number one, like, oh my God, holy crap.
Like, oh, my God.
I didn't even have, like, I was just staring at her in awe.
I thought Dorit looked fine.
I think she has looked better everywhere else that she has gone.
Like, I was very surprised, actually.
I thought Kyle looked beautiful, but I was not into that hairstyle.
I thought Erica, you know, can never do any wrong.
And honestly, this pink hair for Teddy is, like, working.
Like it looks so good.
Sutton I noticed had some issues with her eyelashes,
but other than that,
she looked super cute.
And Rinna, it was all right.
Wait, did you see?
She looked pretty.
That like hair clip that Sutton has on her part.
Yes.
She posted on Instagram,
it's giant aquamarine stones and diamonds on that thing.
So literally from far away,
it looks like, oh, she's got someone.
A barrette, like a little.
Barrette.
A little hair clip, I don't know.
And then she posted the close-up picture, and I'm like, oh, no, this is like a $10,000
piece of jewelry.
And it's that.
It's probably even more than that, knowing something.
Probably more.
If you haven't looked, go look at the photo because when you see how large the aquamarine
stones are in this hair clip, I'm like, fucking Christ, of the sun is so fucking rich.
It's, I would, Garcel, actually, I was going to say is my personal favorite also.
I think that her look is so fun, and I love that she,
was specific that she wore a black designer.
I love that her rings are designed by Asa.
That's a fun little tidbit.
The rings were amazing.
And, you know, right off the bat, Garcel
really had some great moments at this reunion.
I love, I'm very glad that they specifically made time
to talk about her being the first black housewife on Beverly Hills.
And that, you know, I think that's, it's an important thing.
And I'm glad that all the other women kind of had to, you know,
sit there and listen and take in while she was talking about that because it is important.
And I thought it was interesting.
She made the point that she felt like some of the women maybe were scared to come for her
as hard because they were worried about kind of like the optics of, you know,
looking like they were attacking a black woman or something.
And I don't think she was accusing anyone of anything negative.
I think she was just pointing something out.
but I thought it was interesting that Kyle was the one who felt the need to defend herself against that.
And it's like, Kyle.
Well, yeah, I don't know if she was, I don't, it kind of looked like when you take a step back and look at the Zoom, like, all right, who's going to speak?
And I think she felt she didn't want it to be silent.
So she kind of stepped up.
But they got into it a little bit, Garcel and Kyle.
And I, the hard part for me watching that is like, where did we leave off with this?
Like, are they good?
Did, or have they just moved past it?
Like, they both on their ends seemed genuine in their feelings towards each other.
And they were handling it like grown-ass adults.
Like that, like, not that we've seen another franchise.
They were letting the other person know how they felt.
They, Kyle, let the other person speak.
which and they even like I appreciate that I think they have this kind of tension between them but they don't hate each other they don't just they have respect for each other when Garcel was talking about um you know black lives matter in those conversations she specifically caught like pointed out something that Kyle had said that she really appreciated and I I like that they are able to have this back and forth and it really makes me hope even more that Garcel comes back.
because I think the Garcel versus Kyle dynamic could be so amazing to kind of unpack on another season.
Yes, plus like we just need more Garcel in general.
Well, obviously.
But it's like another thing on the pile of why she needs to come back.
Right.
Everyone kept asking to us last night.
Like, do you think Garcell's going to be coming back because she's now on the reel?
And I was like, I don't know.
I will say, I will say, I think her doing the real actually,
make, would make it easier for her to come back to Beverly Hills.
Obviously, she will be busy, but she won't be traveling the way she was this year.
So, you know, we'll see.
We'll see, we'll see.
I appreciated that they dealt with that stuff right at the beginning, and then they brought
out Sutton, who is like essentially a housewife.
They just couldn't have her in like the entire time.
Right.
Like, she got some quality air time at this reunion and she had like a part and she's not a
housewife and it's very funny to look at other
ones like
New York where we know for
a fact Elise isn't going to be at the reunion
and she was in the show and
Right.
There's no doubt that Sutton
is like in the cast of this show
at all. Oh yeah.
So they immediately get into her and Derreet's little
tiff that happened at the DNA launch
which feels like it was a thousand years ago.
It's crazy that this season was actually not that long
but something that happened in the first few episodes still feels so long ago.
I thought the funniest thing that Doreet said was that she's close with Lisa and his daughters.
And I was like, close?
Like, are you guys friends?
Like, I don't know.
That seemed like the wrong use of words to me.
I think you, no.
Maybe like you care for them.
Yeah.
No, like being, no.
But I have come a long way.
I know in the beginning of this season, I was never mean,
but I said that Sutton wasn't my favorite
and I didn't like her behavior and I didn't,
maybe it's because I didn't know her either.
So I can imagine how it is getting to know someone on camera
that you've never met before because for me,
I was like, ah, I love Sutton and I literally can't see another season without her.
She makes me let her composure, the thing she says,
how she says it is so funny and she's not trying to be,
actually being very serious, so I shouldn't laugh.
But, like, she's funny.
Her, when she was, when she and Teddy were going back and forth,
first of all, I still think it's weird that Teddy started crying and left the table at that
comment.
I understand she didn't really know Sutton at that point, but it's like it was not
that deep.
But the fact that she brought up, hormonal.
The fact that she brought up the romper comment again, and then Sutton, as we saw in the
trailer asked are you going to let a small disdain for your clothes get in the way of her
friendship but they also showed the clip of her saying it and she was like and teddy looks like
she's wearing a black romper and like yeah she's wearing a black romper like that's not that is
what that is what she looks like it is crazy to think about that that was our first introduction
to Sutton and like the reaction was so strong and now watching it back
I feel like it's now that you have the context of more of her as a person and
It's like, who cares?
Yeah.
And speaking of the apologies, just like Garcel and Kyle,
I thought the conversation between Durit and Sutton was really mature also.
Like, they apologized, but then Sutton kind of wasn't there for it.
So I was like, wait, what is happening right now?
But they kind of were just like, you can tell through the screen that they were just squashing it.
They were like, I'm sorry.
I'm sorry, too.
I think Sutton, like, kind of misconstrued what Derreet was trying to say because
Yeah.
Derreet was basically saying, I didn't know you at that point, so I wasn't that worried about your feelings.
I was worried about you not making a scene.
And Sutton kept being like, so you didn't care for my feelings.
And she's like, yeah, I just said that.
I love that, though, that Doreet was like, I did not care about your feeling.
When she was like, okay, Sutton, so I've said what I said.
And now I've apologized three times.
That's good, Dylan.
Thank you.
Doree is not in the mood.
Dorete is not in the mood to let her words be like taken out of context at this reunion.
union. And she's like, yes, that's exactly what I said to you. And I said it for this reason,
and I'll say it again. And this is why I, Doreet's the perfect kind of like middle figure right now
because she is just telling it like it is not, you know, taking one side or the other.
Well, that's a big thing. A lot of people notice this season with Doreet is she like sits back and
knows the perfect time to like insert herself or just be involved in any situation. And she
is, I would say, could be an MVP of this.
this season. But since all this time has passed, just like Denise did in the reunion,
should we get to her? Because this is the amount of minutes that has gone by without her speaking.
Denise, look, I love me some Denise Richards. I would say she maybe partook in some kind of remedy
before this reunion. Something was off. I don't know if it was maybe like an herbal tea or something
stronger.
Denise,
Denise was kind of
just biting her time
and then when she started speaking,
her eyes were quite red.
And shaking in anger.
She came out of the gate,
45 minutes in,
angry.
So basically this episode,
they just talked about
the stuff with her kids
and talking about the threesomes
and that.
They didn't get into any of the brandy
or whatever stuff.
That'll be later.
I, to be honest,
I don't understand why Erica was so angry about this.
Yeah, even like my friend slash family was like,
we were all talking about the reunion last night,
as if like no one has anything else to do on like a weeknight.
Everyone, my sister-in-law was like, what time?
This was so funny.
She was like, what time is the reunion?
Please tell me nine.
I go nine.
Same time every week.
Same time Beverly Hills on every single week.
But Erica, and then I was like, I, in my eyes,
I love Erica, so I'm like, oh, whatever, it's fine.
But now I was like, wait, the more people are noticing,
you know, wait, she was angry last night.
So she was angry at the fact that Denise had taken her,
they went to coffee after this kid thing.
And so Erica said that she was singled out,
but then, and she was fine with it,
but then Denise was talking about it to other people.
Look, I understand why the other women were annoyed
and frustrated with Denise through this whole kid.
whatever, that's fine.
But the, like, the level that Erica was bringing to this issue, I was like, I feel like
you're in a nine, and this is like a four or a five conversation.
Right.
Also, it was, in my opinion, the things Erica was talking about, I didn't, like, it came out
of left field.
Like, it was, everyone was talking to Denise about, like, God knows what, honestly.
To be honest, okay, I'm just gonna be honest.
I didn't know what they were talking about.
Yeah, it almost was a little bit like, okay, we know you didn't like the threesome comment around your kids.
It always seemed like they were blowing it out of proportion during the season.
And even now, it's still like, you know, okay, move on.
Okay, here's where I stand.
I have said in the past, whether it be Team Brandi or Team Denise, with the whole sex thing, I'm Team Brandi.
I think it happened.
I don't think Brandy's lying.
In the grand scheme of things, I am kind of team Denise because from a viewer's perspective,
including last night, Denise had to be on the defense.
She came and think about in like high school or even now, if all your friends are accusing
you at the same time of doing something, think about what that's like.
And she's on TV where millions of other people are watching.
So at one point, I didn't like what Rina said to her when they were.
were talking about a tweet because, you know, tweets are the end-all be-all. And she was like,
did you see all the millions of fans coming at us? And I was like, Rina, that's like not nice.
Like, you'd think people weren't coming for Denise? Like, really? Also, it's like, if people,
I mean, I don't, I'm not the kind of person who's going to be like angry tweeting at Lisa Rina,
no matter what. But if I was watching the season and I had negative feelings toward Lisa Rina,
it was because of what I was watching on the season,
not because of one tweet that Denise liked
that I didn't even see.
Yeah, and Denise kept her composure,
seemed, you know, won't go there.
But she, any time the woman were attacking her,
she just was like, okay, what do you want me to do?
Which is kind of like how I would hit.
What do you want me to do?
I already said, we even saw it in the season.
She did it one night.
She's like, I already told you what I said.
I don't need to like repeat myself.
Like, so she constantly has to,
offend herself. So I thought that it wasn't right the way Rina was coming at her. Same with
Erica at that point. But Erica kind of deaded it a little bit. She's like, you know what?
Basically, she was like it is what it is. But Denise looked like she was holding back pounds of
tears and just I was like, let it out. Let it out. Please, please. I am excited for this whole
reunion. I think there's a lot to cover. But I will say I think it's going to be, none of the parts are
going to be fun for Denise. I know. Well, we see her leave. The most fun part for Denise, the most fun
part for Denise was the first 45 minutes when she didn't have to say anything. Um, we see her leave.
And of course, everyone, this is my so dramatic. Did she just leave? Did she just leave? Yeah. Hello,
do you see her on the screen? Like, hello. But, um, I'm like, Denise, come on. You did it so much
during the show. Like, don't do it at the reunion. The reunion is a little different. I guess you can
leave, get your composure and come back. But, um, it is harder to, um, you know,
I don't know.
Yeah, we will see.
We didn't, the fact that we didn't even get to the brandy stuff yet and this is happening,
I'm like, oh my God, this girl's going to have a breakdown.
I know.
It's going to be a lot.
I think they earned three parts this season, I think, for sure.
Totally.
You know, we've talked about reunion.
Sometimes I'm like, okay, could have been in two.
Like, didn't he do, but this, we need it.
Andy looked super cute too.
He looked like he just got a haircut.
Andy did look good.
He actually puts an effort into this reunion look, which I appreciate.
Like, remember the summer house reunion when he was wearing like a sweatshirt?
A sweatshirt.
Candy.
Okay, let's quickly talk about below deck med a little bit.
This episode was a little weird, I would say, because the vibe with Rob and Jess was very off.
Yeah.
Last week, we saw them celebrating booking a flight to Bali.
And this week pretty...
The things we celebrate these days.
This week pretty immediately things went to ship because we were.
Rob's ex reached out to him.
She apparently was going through some shit.
I don't know.
And Jess felt some type of way about it.
Rob was clearly in his feels.
It just was...
Well, we also learned about what she call her demon Jess,
where I'm like, oh my God.
So if we don't have to see that side of you on TV,
don't tell people that it exists.
She said that, and we see her with certain things with Rob gets a little angry.
And I'm like, oh, my God.
And so even when Robbbed that whole thing last week, and she was like, don't lie, you lied to me.
Like she was making it into like that he lied because he surprised her.
So this episode when his girlfriend reached out, which you could tell Rob seems to me like a good guy.
He was going to tell her.
But then she saw a text message and she was like, who is that?
And she like kind of got really pissed.
And she said at her ex, her old ex-boyfriend, she went to his house and destroyed it when he crossed her something.
And I was like, okay.
I'm getting like, like Stasi dark passenger vibes.
Yeah.
Or no, no, no.
Tequila Katie.
Totally tequila Katie.
It's really telling that we have multiple Vanderpumpurals alter egos to
choose from.
We see Aisha though, which I'm like so excited.
She's such a fresh, I can never say this, breath of fresh air.
She's like so happy.
But then we see like just like made fun of her, which I guess.
You know, she's like, oh, good morning.
But I'm like, leave Aisha alone.
She's just happy, go lucky.
Like, who doesn't want to wake up to her?
I'm glad to have Aisha back.
I think the, you know, the vibe is good right now.
Still a little sad that Hannah's gone.
But like, overall, I think Aisha's a good addition.
Yes.
And, you know, we have some good food this week.
Tom didn't fuck up too bad.
Thank God.
but because we have a returning charter guest
Johnny Damon and his wife
who are super fun but I'm nervous
because they get a little rowdy
rowdy
did you notice there's one
charter guest I ended up stalking her on Instagram
to make sure it wasn't the same person
she looks exactly like the new
Orange County housewife Elizabeth
with Johnny Damon
like with them
I didn't notice her because I just noticed the other
charter guest just being
so drunk falling on glass and sleeping during the entire first day.
But she was having a time of her life.
Next week it looks exciting.
Looks like we see Bugsie making out with Alex finally.
Like finally.
Seriously.
But also let's not forget about like this week's episode when it's kind of having her baby.
She had her baby shower.
Oh my, I thought you're going to say she had her baby.
I was like, no, she had her baby shower.
I know.
I'm like so excited.
Did. Real quick, who's your number one Bravo Lab in the group? I'll just give it to Garcel for now. Okay. Okay. I'll give it to Garcel because her look, like, I can't with her look. It was just so good. But honestly, I'm going to give it to Asia because I am excited at how excited she is to be back and to bring a new, fun, loving personality to the group. So don't fuck it up, Asia. Love that. Guys, thanks so much for listening. Don't forget to rate reviews.
