Mention It All - Little Girls & Big Feelings | Love Island USA Eps 20-24

Episode Date: July 2, 2026

On this week’s Mention It All: Island Time, Dylan and Chris “com-promise” on one thing: Love Island USA Eps 20-24 were the most exciting of the season. From the Casa Amor recoupling turning into... Bad Girls Club to Brinity making it official, they are strapped into this roller coaster ride of emotions. They vent about basically every man's latest offenses, plus production blowing the entire budget on one Ariana Grande song.  And with Movie Night looming, they predict Melanie may either be reduced to tears or finally snap her way into a Fijian prison, which honestly feels fair. Starting point is 00:00:26 Please play responsibly. I fucking hate sincere. He's a goddamn liar. And then when he's like, it's not that I lie, it's just when I tell the truth. I don't tell the whole truth. Hey, everyone. Welcome back to mention it all. Island time.
Starting point is 00:00:44 I'm Dylan, and I'm here with Chris. Aloha. I'm T.T. I'm Titi, bitch. We have a good week to discuss. We have a lot to discuss because I hated T.T. Then I love T. Okay.
Starting point is 00:00:57 Well, we'll get into it. Love. Strong word. I loved what Titi was bringing. You're not the only person using the word love, maybe a little. flippantly. Let's... I think Zach has...
Starting point is 00:01:08 We'll get into that. Let's get into it. We are talking today about Love Island, USA, episode 20 through 24. We are recording a little bit early this week because of the holiday. Because of America's 250th birthday, allegedly. Freedom 250. As we sit to record, have not yet seen movie night. Which is tonight.
Starting point is 00:01:28 It's going to be epic. We'll talk a little bit about the potential ramifications of movie night. But just to kind of level set, we have seen... a lot. A lot. There's been, this has been, I think, the most exciting week. I agree. And that's what you hope for from Casa Amor. Like, it tends to be the midpoint of the season that
Starting point is 00:01:44 really shakes things up for some couples, solidifies things for other couples. And I feel like until last week, this season, we were a little bit like, okay, like some good moments, some funny quotes,
Starting point is 00:02:00 some drama, and we need Casa Amor to come and, like, do it. its big one. And I gotta say, I think it did. Yes. I, so there was a moment in Casa Amor where I was like, I'm sick of this. Yeah, like, why do we know like 18 people's names? But bringing them all back together, 100% worth the episode. Yeah. The Casa Amor recoupling was incredible. Everything we needed it to be on multiple fronts. Because like I said, we had the, we had the breakdowns of the couples that were not in a good place,
Starting point is 00:02:33 but we also moved to the, moved to the story forward in a positive way. We saw some true colors. We saw some true colors. We made some crazy music choices, chasing cars for a second Keda. There was a lot. Chasing cars is my go-to karaoke song.
Starting point is 00:02:48 Oh. Well, one of. Let's waste time. But when it starts, is this a fucking weird version? Why are we using so many weird versions? So many weird covers. Everything is a weird cover.
Starting point is 00:02:59 But it's weird. It's the thing that's, funny to me on Love Island is that they can clearly afford the real versions of some songs. They played the new Ariana Grande song in an episode last week. If they're paying for chasing, I doubt we can
Starting point is 00:03:13 afford Ariana Grande, but not Snow Patrol. But we're getting a cover of a Benson Boone song, and I'm like, respectfully... Benson Boone would be a cast member. Just kidding. Kenzie would make out with anybody. Kenzie would climb Benson Boone like a tree. So with Jen, he would be...
Starting point is 00:03:31 Jen and DeKenzie is just their type. Jen would be like, I'm mad at you. I don't know why I'm smiling, but Vincent, I don't think we're getting along too well. Jen, should we start with Jen and discuss how, so the most fascinating thing about Jen to me is how mind boggled she is that she's not being treated as the hottest commodity in there. We'll make a compromise because I wasn't going to start with Jen, but sure we can. Nobody ever starts with Jen. That's why I feel like we should start. People, if Jen isn't on the TV, I don't think anyone thinks about Jen.
Starting point is 00:04:04 You know what was crazy in the last couple episodes when one of the guys said to Jen, like, you just got here. And somebody was like, no, she didn't. She said, I've been here for like two weeks. And the rest of them have been there for three. It's not about the time. It's about what you do with it. And I feel like, who was that sincere that was saying that to her?
Starting point is 00:04:22 Well, if it's any kind of like, you know, like metaphor or cliche or like wisdom, why like wannabe wise saying it's probably sincere no i literally think it was sincere pying her in the face for she uh so she just got here and it's like if you had uh um if you had a pie and then uh and you wanted to like cool the pie in the window so you put the pie in the window and then a bird flies in the window so then it's flies on there's flies on the pie and now you have fly shit in your pie and that's not the kind of pie i want to eat That's literally how he always speaks. So like it's, um, so think about like if you had.
Starting point is 00:05:05 As soon as his hands start moving and he's always like, like literally he'll pick that and he'll be like, yeah, this is, um, this is a mug of. So say this was water. Gold. But then that's water too. So you could have water in the big metal cup or you could have water in the mug. But which one are you filling? It's both water and water is life.
Starting point is 00:05:24 But which water is giving you life. Um. But back to Jen. Yeah, back to Jen. We're always forgetting about Jen. So Jen is in Casa Amor with Gall. Gull. Who I can't stand.
Starting point is 00:05:39 So he does own the coffee shop, by the way. I know. I think we were unclear. Gall, it screams. I grew up very wealthy. Okay. How does a man who's like, what, 28, 29? If that.
Starting point is 00:05:53 Open a coffee shop on Venice Beach, probably one of the most expensive places you could possibly open a coffee shop. Mm-hmm. And then when he's talking, she's like, so, how'd you get into coffee? I love coffee and surfing. My two favorite things. I also don't think Kenzie's ever surfed.
Starting point is 00:06:10 No, no, no. She, okay, wait. Kenzie and I have something in common because when I've never surfed. But you describe yourself as a surfing type? So when I was in fifth grade, I really liked the idea of surfing. And my... What's that movie? Is that what you saw?
Starting point is 00:06:29 My username on like certain websites and stuff when I was like 13 was surf dude 949. My parents let me like redo my room like one time when I was like in middle school maybe. And you change it to a surf theme? I did like a wallpaper banner of like hibiscus flowers. And I had like a surfboard like bulletin board thing. I was like no like I just like love surfing. See I've never been attracted to a surfing lifestyle. No.
Starting point is 00:06:57 I'm not now. And I don't think I was then. I think I, I don't know. There was something about just like, tropicalness. Yeah, that I get. But the thing is,
Starting point is 00:07:06 like, Kenzie is like, she doesn't actually want that. She just wants to say that she wants whatever the guy she's talking to has. I think she's like, in her head, she's gone from like, I'm a nurse from Georgia. It's like,
Starting point is 00:07:15 I want to live on, in L.A. Like, and live, but she also wants to live in Miami. Yeah. And she wants to be on a farm. She's wanted to be every type of influencer in every city since she's been here.
Starting point is 00:07:26 You know, Kenzie is like, she's like in the, the Tyra Banks' Lindsay Lohan movie Life Size when it's like the Eve doll has done every job. And she's like, oh yeah, I was an astronaut. I, I'm a businesswoman. I could be the president.
Starting point is 00:07:41 Like, that's Kenzie. And she believes that. But it's based on the guy that she's standing in front of at the moment. Or maybe the guy that's with another girl next door. Yeah, she would make a great like political wife. Do you know what I mean? She would like, I will do whatever.
Starting point is 00:07:56 What did you make? of Gaul's weird dumping of Jen Yeah, so we, I feel like this season so far We haven't really had like A current couple basically be like Okay, so this is done But I felt like it came from like nowhere
Starting point is 00:08:14 It did kind of come from nowhere So it was like two episodes ago They were like Yeah, okay, cool She picks him at the fire pit Which it was kind of a strategic pick because because she was single, they let her pick first, and Kenzie had been going back and forth between Dylan and Gall. And so Jen was deciding between Gal and what's his name?
Starting point is 00:08:40 Whatever. Corey, whoever. And with the rhinestone pants. Was that him? There was a lot of rhinestone pants. And Jen picked Gall. So Kenzie picked Dylan. And then turns out Kenzie still wants them both and Gall doesn't really want Jen. But it was watching the two conversations. that Jen and Gall had that was sort of like, at first she was like, I don't know if it's actually compatible and also you never compliment me and I just feel like I need a little bit more and he was like, okay, maybe. And then the next day, he's like, how fucking dare you tell me to compliment you? The next day, he's like, man, she just like wants me to be somebody I'm not. And the somebody that she wants him to be is just like somebody who's into her. Yeah. Like I'm like, he just never was into her.
Starting point is 00:09:23 And that's the thing with Love Island is that it, because the whole, reason for being on this show is like find love, be couple. It feels like so wrong to just say like, I'm not that into her. Yeah. But that's clearly what's happening. But it feels like he, because she has picked him and he's the new guy, it feels like he's trying to like sort of twist the conversation a little bit. So it's like, oh, no, like now it seems like you don't like me. And she's like, what? Yeah. I got her confusion. And then Kenzie, swoops in there like a fucking vulture. Kenzie is really just the like honeybee.
Starting point is 00:10:04 She's a lustful beast. She's not lustful. She's just drifting from flower to flower, pollinating here, pollinating there. She has lust for any cornbread man that walks in there. Kenzie has like pollinated a whole garden at this point this season. And I, look, I would never shame somebody for exploring. No. Every connection.
Starting point is 00:10:25 And I do mean every. But she shames everyone. else. Yeah. So Kenzie at the at the recoupling she of course is like, Bucorbin. Bail Corbin. Boo. She and she's like, no, literally
Starting point is 00:10:41 like, fuck Corbin. Because I saw what he said about me at the the fucking, the fucking thing, the challenge. He really be up in here. He said fuck Kenzie. So I said but Corbin. So she
Starting point is 00:10:57 which like good for her. But she never forgives. Like I get not forgiving. Okay. I also, she also says I'm not the type of person to hold a grudge. The fuck. Miss Mama.
Starting point is 00:11:07 That is the definition of holding a grudge. So she feels completely unencumbered in Casa Amor because Corbyn has basically been like. Yeah. She's like, everything you said on the dock was a fucking lie. But so she's really back and forth between Dylan and Gall. And we were saying this before we started. I mean, Dylan is. just so boring.
Starting point is 00:11:30 I don't, like, I said before we started. Dylan is just so blah. Dylan could walk in this room, sit down next to me, and I'm not sure I would even recognize him. You're like, oh, do you work here? I'm like, oh, he's new. He's, I mean, he's very handsome. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:42 He seems like a nice guy. He keeps going on about the CASA guys. He's like, I'm doing this for the CASA guys. I'm like, what are you fucking talking about? The CASA guys are fine. They don't care. They don't care what you do in here. But so Kenzie picks him basically, I think if Jen had not picked Gall, I think Kenzie would have picked Gall at the recoupling, only because I think that she already felt like Dylan was the safe option.
Starting point is 00:12:11 And Gall was kind of like the sweeter, sexier thing that she had her eye on. Yeah. I'm like, I think Dylan seems nicer. Yes. Like I'm like, I would rather date Dylan than Gall. Gall seems like a barista on Venice Beach. You know what I mean? Who's going to be rude for no reason?
Starting point is 00:12:31 No offense to Venice Beach. Kenzie could be holding a full dollar bill. And if she saw the shiny penny on the street, she would still like want to pick it up. Oh, yeah, totally. So, you know, I don't know if her judgment is quite there, but I enjoy watching her be chaotic. She's very emotionally immature.
Starting point is 00:12:46 Emotionally immature, except the one thing I will say is that I feel like more than some of these other ladies who will get to in a second, if Kenzie feels like you have disrespected her, she's not going to let you back in the door. Which I, yeah,
Starting point is 00:13:02 I admire. Earlier in the season, when Zach didn't pick her, she was like, that's done. It's over. It's canceled. With Corbin,
Starting point is 00:13:09 she's like, has no interest in letting him back in. And yeah, like, it comes across a little bit extra sometimes when she's doing her rage splits and she's like, she's like,
Starting point is 00:13:19 it was lust as fuck. But I appreciate that she, knows her worth and doesn't. She's constantly moving to the next thing, but she's never moving back. And that's, when you talk about Melanie, when you talk about Anaya, it's like, ladies, we gotta,
Starting point is 00:13:34 we gotta get on the bike and pedal. Yes, I do admire that because I feel like I'm more in Anaya than I am McKenzie, and I wish that that weren't true. Speaking of Anaya. Speaking of Anaya, man, the thing is,
Starting point is 00:13:52 every week, I feel like we have sat down and talked about how Anaya and Casey just like don't have the juice. There's no chemistry, no X factor. You could tell that it, it, from the second week, it felt like a connection forged in safety more than chemistry and excitement. We, like out of loyalty, it felt. And like, we started on the same day together, but,
Starting point is 00:14:24 Like, it's not like you've been working here for that long. And there were, there were multiple times when Casey seemed like he wanted to explore. There was something said in a challenge that made it seem like that. Or he made a comment or he didn't want to send Soul home. And every time Anaya was upset about it. But then she would say, I go explore. Yeah. Do what you have to do?
Starting point is 00:14:49 I don't even care. So then we make it to Casa Amor. And Casey does. exactly what I... What we all knew. Assumed he would. And he did not go about it in the most respectful way, for sure. He said some very...
Starting point is 00:15:06 He said some... fucked up things. He also said a lot of fucked up things she doesn't even know about. True. Movie night, we'll see. When he's saying how he poured love into her... And they're like, are you... Would you be happy for an eye?
Starting point is 00:15:17 He's like, no. But also, I wouldn't care. And when he and Corbin are like, yeah, man, these Casa girls are definitely better than the... college girls. Did you clock when Parmita and Titi were like, yeah, like the, the villa girls are more, they're like 21, 22. And I'm 25. And it's like, first of all, not all of them are 21, 22. Like, you guys are all for, you're all the same age. You're all the same age. Also, Parmita, I can't hear anything she says because her eyelashes are just so fucking crazy. The lash extensions. It's. It's too much. I'm like, I don't think they're extensions. They have to be paid because they are so goddamn long.
Starting point is 00:15:58 And I can't with Parmita and Corbyn. Yeah. Their interactions like skeeves me out. I was comparing it to when you have two like really hot gay guys that look kind of alike and they're in a relationship. Boyfriend twins is like what we call it. There used to be a website. And it's like, okay, so like you are just really attracted to yourself.
Starting point is 00:16:17 And obviously Parmita and Corbin don't look the same. But the way they speak to each other. They literally say to each other. I like about you as you remind me of me. And I love how similar we are. Like, I feel like you're literally me if I was a boy. It's crazy. I feel like you're...
Starting point is 00:16:31 I never thought I'd meet myself, girl. You're like me if I was a boy. I'm like... It's just like, ew. And she's like, I never thought like me and Corbyn would work out. I'm like, you literally said you DM'd him before you even came in. Yeah. It is their, their connection is...
Starting point is 00:16:53 I mean, To quote Kenzie, it's lost as fuck. Do you know what it gives? It's going to sound kind of fucked up. But like, influencer couple that one of them snaps and murders the other. And then it's like a documentary. But who's going to murder who?
Starting point is 00:17:06 Because I'm like, they end up hating each other because they don't like anything about each other other other than they remind themselves of each other. Who would be the murderer, though? Who snaps? Parmita. He's going to say Corbyn. I think Parmita is already itching
Starting point is 00:17:21 for like a little bit more toxicity. That's the thing. It's like, obviously with the CASA girls, we haven't known them for as long, for a whole month. Yeah. But like, Parmita, I feel like we really don't know anything about her. No, and she's like, guys, I want to make an announcement. Corbyn and I are closed off. That was crazy. And the girl, we'll see. I want them to bring in the hottest fucking girl they have in the, in the stalls. Well, so the thing is, okay, so going back to the beginning and the Kenzie stuff, so we see Corbyn right away when he sees Parme, to be like, oh, fuck, Kenzie's out the window.
Starting point is 00:17:56 And then when Kenzie and Corbyn finally have a talk, Corbyn is making it seem like, well, yeah, I just had a stronger connection with Parmita. So I'm sorry for, I'm sorry about that. But like, we just got along so well. And it's like, no, the whole point is that you said it the second you saw her in that Persian cat outfit. He does not give a fucking shit what is on the inside of a woman at all.
Starting point is 00:18:20 He just is going with the hottest girl. Exactly. And then when Corby and Parme, to have their conversation to close things off, the way that they're like arriving at that conclusion is he's, she's like, so do you want to like explore more? And he's like, I already explored every girl in here. So I'm good. And he's like, and he's like the ball's in your court. And she's like, oh, well, I mean, there's nobody else in here that I would go for right now. So I guess we're closed off. And it's like the obviously Love Island is not the real world. so closed off is like a made up term. But like, we're dating in here. The whole point of closing things off on Love Island is that like you're not going to explore outside of that connection regardless of who's in there. And I feel like with Corbett and Parmita, it's strictly because there's nobody else in there right now that they care to explore.
Starting point is 00:19:13 Yeah. And I don't, I don't know if we're getting more bombshells this late in the season, but almost. I hope we get at least one or two. We need one, we need somebody to go in there and like tempt the fuck out of them because their connection is not actually that strong. They're just really into each other. And like they just need to smash. Also, I didn't know you were allowed to shower together. Also, I bet they're both bad at sex.
Starting point is 00:19:37 Yes. Two hot people having sex? It's going to be dull as hell. Do people have been hot forever? It's like. No one's trying. I feel like we all, we all, I feel like you know those like straight people who are very, very like,
Starting point is 00:19:52 unfortunately. They're very like freaky presenting, but I don't actually believe that that's what their sex life is like. No,
Starting point is 00:20:00 it's very, yeah. Where it's the two people who are kind of like, almost like performatively horny. The quiet ones are always the ones who are actually the...
Starting point is 00:20:06 It's like, oh, yeah, me and my ma'am, we're gonna go to bed and it's gonna be crazy. Yeah. It's like, yeah, sure. She's the girl who like,
Starting point is 00:20:14 board's playing that's like, Miami's not ready for us! Um... It's like, So Miami's never seen like three regular bitches. Yeah, literally. Okay, so back to Anaya. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:27 Because that's kind of like important. It is. So Anaya. Heartbreaking. Anaya had a good thing going with Carl. I know. Seemingly. I know.
Starting point is 00:20:36 And the thing is, after seeing the video of the challenge, after the postcards that they got, I just like, I really thought maybe there was a chance that she would stand on business and make a choice for herself. I thought that she would even make the choice just to make him jealous. At no point did I think it's smart of her to go back alone. I saw some people saying online is like, why are people dogging on Anaya so much for picking KC and not as much on Melanie for picking sincere? And the thing for me is that to me, there are like, there are two layers. There are two layers of this decision. One is,
Starting point is 00:21:20 what is the good like emotional emotionally healthy choice to make and the second is like in terms of the show what is the good strategic decision to make that is going to allow you to stay in a couple to stay on the show whatever and while i think that Melanie did not make a good choice from an emotionally healthy layer she objectively picked correctly in that sincere also chose her and she ended up back in her couple, whereas Anaya, she didn't make the emotionally healthy choice in picking a guy that seemed good with Carl, even if she didn't love him so much. Two more days, it would have been fine. And she also guessed wrong.
Starting point is 00:22:03 She guessed wrong in the game. And she, you know, she's like, I feel stupid. And everybody's like, no, no, no, no, no. And I'm like, kind of yeah. Kind of, yeah. I mean, I felt like it was so sort of obvious that, like, From the second they left, Casey would bring back someone. And I don't like...
Starting point is 00:22:22 And I get it. I also like am the type of person who is like, you know what? I'm going to be hopeful and give it a chance. But yeah, it was just... It was tough to see it because it's like I felt for her emotionally in that moment. And of course, the way that it went down, the things that Casey was saying, of course, we'll talk about TT. Also, T.T. like running the show like when she walked in. But I didn't, like, I couldn't feel bad.
Starting point is 00:22:47 for her from like a like I think Casey made the correct choice to find someone else and I wish she would have done the same yeah but Tierra Tierra Tierra who has been on a lot of reality shows in the past she's been on some other reality shows there's also some um there's also a lot of reporting several going around about her her past her um I have to say I think I'm a little over I'm a little over seeing like new reports about somebody else's past every three days on Love Island. I'm like, I don't actually need to know what all these people don't care. I'm never going to think about them again. Exactly. Exactly. But when T.T. walks in hand in hand, hand with Casey. Casey looking down in his fucking little church
Starting point is 00:23:31 sweater outfit. T.T. in that sky blue see-through dress. Calling Trinity. Okay. America's sweetheart. Trinity. America's little girl. Because, okay, Trinity asks a pointed question to Casey. clearing the air about in the prior, you know, recoupling when America voted for their three favorite couples or four favorite couples that Casey said that he was surprised that Trinity and Bryce were in the top. And while I was a little bit like, this is a random time for Trinity to ask this at the, yeah, it's been stewing on her. Recoupling. Go for it. And the fact that, first of all, Casey immediately gets defensive. And then T.T. jumps in on his behalf. And that's when Trinity is.
Starting point is 00:24:17 like, respectfully, Boo-boo, I'm not talking to you. She's like, well, first of all, you're a little girl. And second of all, you can pipe down. I'm T-T. Who are you? Who's T-T? But then they all, like, make up with T-T-Pretty. The girls this season really are girls' girls through and through.
Starting point is 00:24:36 Mostly. It was pretty heated at the fire pit, though. Yeah, but then they all, like, make back up. But what was crazy, though, is that if you, people went back in the edit, There is clearly a moment where definitely Melanie is not sitting on the couch. And Kenzie's not there either. And Kenzie also seems to not be there. The theory is like, did it get so heated that Kenzie and Melanie had to be physically removed from the fire pit?
Starting point is 00:25:01 You know what my theory is is that yes, that is what it is. And that they told them, if you don't stay seated, you're going to be removed. And they must have not stayed seated because Trinity and Kada, when they were yelling, they kept like go but not actually. standing and they stayed seated the whole time and I was like I bet that was what the they need like on the couch they need the like roller coaster bars that come down over here just or they need to be wearing like gown so that they can't get up as easily right it's like housewives yeah yeah it was it got really intense and people also like people had weird feelings about anaya being like is this bad girls club and I'm like respectfully it was giving bad girls club
Starting point is 00:25:42 for a second like yeah it was pretty heated when when T T T was like are you going to shut me up And it's like, what? Yeah, well, Titi came in being like, I'm going to be on TV. I felt like. TV, T, T, T, T, T, T, T, T, T, T, T, T, T, on my TV. But I did appreciate T T when they brought back Amora and Carl. Yes. And she immediately was like, you've got to tell Melanie every single thing about
Starting point is 00:26:07 sincere. Don't go easy. Tell her every single last thing. Yeah, T.T came in way too hot. I think everybody can agree. But she has, in the, in the couple episodes since, like, Like, produced well. Reeled it in a little bit.
Starting point is 00:26:20 Made amends with people. She and Anaya are like besties. Her and Melanie. Yeah. So even her and Trinity have made up. It was a great moment at the fire pit. But like I do think T.T. was smart to like, squash it.
Starting point is 00:26:33 Quiet it down after that. And know that like the, the vibe of Love Island is more like the guys. The girls are always mad at the guys for something. Yeah. It's not as, it's not really the kind of show where you want the girls to be fighting. fighting continuously. It can be a little blitz here and there. And they did like patch it up. Starting point is 00:28:50 Zach's Casa Amor connection Al-A-La. He didn't make any decision. She was removed from Casa Amor. Yeah, she didn't make any decision either. I love that they got her like in the middle of the day. Like it was like halfway through the episode.
Starting point is 00:29:01 They were like, what's her name, Alana? Alana has left Casa Amora. Alana, can we speak to you for a second? They just push her off the plank, the one spot that we can see the ocean. But what's so interesting, and this is, you know,
Starting point is 00:29:12 they've done this before, but Alana is removed. They announced that she's gone. We know that she and Zach have been connecting, exploring whatever in Casa Amour. We know they've kissed outside of a challenge, which Kada has seen on the postcard. But we never really see the aftermath of Zach being sad that she's gone, being relieved that she's gone, finding out that she's gone, whatever, whatever that looked like. And then of course, we know that he chooses Kada. When he comes back to the villa, Kada chooses he. Kada chooses him, you know, Kada's upset with him about the kissing and the postcard and, you know,
Starting point is 00:29:49 being flirtatious and all of that. But over the next two episodes, we never once Kirit acknowledged that Zach didn't really end up having to make a choice. Well, he does lie at the one when he's like, if I wanted to choose her, I would have chosen her. Yes. And so that is, because until then, I was like, oh, maybe production is annoyed at the scandal and just wants to act, wants everybody to act like Alana didn't ever exist. And so it's, it's cleaner for Zach to just be like, I'm so happy to be here. I always would have picked you. Which I think he would have picked her.
Starting point is 00:30:26 I do think he would have picked her too. Because I don't think that Zach wanted to rock the boat. I think he wanted to like have fun and Casa. I feel like Zach is performatively flirtatious. Yes. And like performatively wanting to explore and performatively like being into other girls. because he's like, I'm like, just admit that you like Kada and want to be with Kada. Well, even on the most recent episode, when he says, I love you in the bed.
Starting point is 00:30:55 And she's like, he says, I love you in the bed a lot. More than once. And then the next day, she goes, I think you said something last night. He goes, oh, that was a joke. He's like, she knows. That was a joke. She knows I'm kidding. She knows I'm kidding.
Starting point is 00:31:05 Sorry, where's the pillow? Got a cover my crotch. I think that he really likes her, but also I think that he is. He's only 25. The way that he's like behaving isn't giving like mature relationship energy. No. It's not. And he's 25.
Starting point is 00:31:21 It's not as fuckboyish as sincere. Like who is what? He's getting his learner's permit next year. I'm like, I wouldn't trust him in a car. But like I think Kada wants a little bit more maturity. Yeah. I feel bad for Kada though because I'm like, Kada's in love with Zach, obviously. Kitas in love with Zach.
Starting point is 00:31:40 And I do think he like really likes her. her and I wanted to stop fucking around. I wish every man could be like Bryce. Right. And that's the thing is this whole Casa Amor recoupling ceremony that like... Not me shedding a literal tear for Bryce and Trinity. The saving grace of this entire shit show is that Bryce and Trinity are like America's sweethearts. Bryce sitting while Trinity is fighting with Casey and Titi and he's covered in her like foundation.
Starting point is 00:32:09 Her lip combo. And then they go on. She's like, it was the best date ever. Which I still don't understand. Why can we put zero dollars into a date? They're like, okay, you're going on a date. They literally take them to the end of the plank and they jet ski. Like they're never at like a location.
Starting point is 00:32:30 I'm like, where are we? They jet ski to a boat that's just anchored somewhere. They film on the moon. I'm convinced. They're like, no, we're not allowed to go to like a restaurant in Fiji. We're not, we're not, like, renting out another place in Fiji. On the Bachelor, they'll go to a date at, like, a rodeo. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:50 They'll go to a date at, like, a castle. Right, they'll go to a date at, like, a castle. If they are ever on a date. They're definitely going on dates on helicopters all the time. They're at, like, a tiny patch of grass somewhere. Nearby. Or a boat in, like, a nondescripted location. Or on uncomfortable lawn furniture in a different part of the house.
Starting point is 00:33:09 It is, it is kind of funny. Because also this, like, other than that initial bombshell situation where it was like the two-on-ones, this is the first, like, couple date of the season. All the money went to that one Ariana Grande's on. They're like, no, I fear we got too many top 40 hits. You guys can't go on any dates. That's why everything is switched to covers and now no one's going on dates. Yeah, chasing cars being a cover.
Starting point is 00:33:35 A missed opportunity. Why are we doing that? It is. If Bryce and Trinity don't win this season, I will be shocked. Yeah. Because now they're, their boyfriend,
Starting point is 00:33:43 girlfriend, which is a big deal on Love Island. I know. It's like the, the like stages of love are exploring, closed off, boyfriend, girlfriend. Hanging out outside of when they get done,
Starting point is 00:33:57 then boyfriend girlfriend. Right. Like having more than, cuddling in the bed. Yeah. Kissing outside of challenges. Hands in the pants. French fry.
Starting point is 00:34:07 With Heda and Zach live so far away. Where does he live? Oh, England. Birmingham. And I'm like, of course she's probably, is everyone moving to L.A. at the end of the season? Well, it depends who has a contract for beyond the villa. Oh, that's true. I mean, yeah, no, it's just like, we don't really talk about that on here.
Starting point is 00:34:25 Yeah, but I'm like, you should. We don't talk. I mean, because Bryce and, Bryce lives in L.A. Trinity lives in Virginia. But does she, how's she in Tooby movies? I'm like, is she trying to, is she in L.A? To be tax credit in Virginia. they might be filming there.
Starting point is 00:34:42 I think To Be Tax credits are, yeah, only in, no, I'm getting. They'll make it work. Sincere and Melanie. Sincerely Mel. At the fire pit, Melanie is giving this like impassioned speech. Ariana's like, how was your Casa Amor? And she's like, thank you for asking. It was a lot because all week I had to hear from all of these guys that ideas are better.
Starting point is 00:35:08 and that Sincer treated me bad And that it was embarrassing Because they made me feel Blam, blah, blah, blah, blah. And the thing about Corey is that he's so perfect And he's everything I deserve. And so I pick sincere. I had lo and behold
Starting point is 00:35:27 Sincer and his fuck-ass bun He comes out. I saw him alone. And he's like, yay, I brought you a wimpy little flower. And she's like, I think the fuck not. And he's like, I was confident. And I'm like, I fucking hate sincere.
Starting point is 00:35:42 He's a goddamn liar. And then when he's like, it's not that I lie. It's just when I tell the truth, I don't tell the whole truth. If the truth was a pie, he's giving you a slice. Yeah, I'm like, this man just was not raised properly. He doesn't have the right fucking values. The thing is with Melanie is like watching her rip into him is so satisfying. But then you zoom back out and you're like, you still fucking.
Starting point is 00:36:08 fucking picked him. And then he'll come to her to tell her things now and she's like, I don't even want to know. The woman is dead inside. A husk. Okay. Every light that was inside of her has gone out. It's not the same as Anaya, but with Melanie, it's like, I feel like she put so much emotional energy into making the decision to still pick him one more time that it's like she doesn't actually really want him anymore almost. I think she, like, really likes him.
Starting point is 00:36:38 but knows it's not right. And now since Casa Amor, now that, now that T.T. and Parmita and Jaden, who I don't think we've remembered dementia. No offense, girl. You do something. So sorry. Now that those girls have been in the villa, Amora comes back in. Melanie is receiving a lot of inputs about sincere.
Starting point is 00:37:05 And it's movie night. And she's been hearing from the guys in Casa about the things that he's done on the show. She's hearing from the Casa Girls about him saying this, him being flirty, him cuddling, bumping and grinding in the bed. And it's like, I think Melanie, like Melanie knew, but it's being confirmed to her over and over and over again. And that fight has gone out of her. And I want the best for her, but I'm like, I can't even really picture her like, like, girl, if it's like this inside of here. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:37:40 But even if they sent somebody in that was like her dream guy, I almost feel like she doesn't even have the energy to get involved in anything. People were, I have seen a theory that she and Caleb could have a connection because they like, I don't know, smiled at each other once or something. I'm like, I feel like, yeah, she's not, sincere is it for her when it comes to this. I feel like her heart is not in Love Island anymore. No, I mean, Meg this down. comes in with her bathing suit line,
Starting point is 00:38:08 we have bikini store manager, Melanie. She shows very little excitement about the bikinis. Okay, that was the first sign something's home. Well, she's like, she's like, this shit's from Walmart. I sell, I sell high quality. These trash bikinis. This is really thin material. The product placement of Meg the Stallion's bikinis was,
Starting point is 00:38:30 my favorite was, Katie being like, wait, Trinity, what if you wear one of Megan's bathing suit? suits. I have to tell you, because I know you didn't watch last season, this is the second year in a row that Megan Steyn has appeared to hawk her swimwear. Well, when she's like, I'm back in the thing. I was like, oh, this is like... I'm back in the motherfuckervilla.
Starting point is 00:38:46 I mean, she is like the most gorgeous one. Love to see Megan the Stallion. I will say that challenge lasted like 45 minutes. When she was like, let's clean up for round two, I was like, round two? The amount of cakes that were just wasted. There are hungry people in the world. And we have... I could have eaten that cake.
Starting point is 00:39:06 We have upwards, I would say, of three dozen cakes, just getting... Multi-tier cakes. Sat on? Perverts. We're shooting a frosting gun. Yeah, that, I'm probably they didn't waste that much money on. Right. That's just sugar in.
Starting point is 00:39:24 But then they have them doing the Bruce from a fucking Matilda challenge where they have to eat the whole cake with their hands tied behind their hands. And Kenzie almost. chokes on a, on a, um, they left in the little, they left in the little rods to like hold up the cake. Yeah, and she thought it was the magic thing. That's dangerous.
Starting point is 00:39:44 You're going to break a goddamn tooth. But that, that challenge, like, I, I just wish they would have cut the musical chairs part at the beginning because it was like, when they were choosing who to throw the cake at or who to shoot with the gun, the frosting gun. That's a challenge. That part was, that part was interesting at least because you were, people were being shady.
Starting point is 00:40:04 And, like, there were a few things said, like, who said that Jen was like Oh, sincere said that Jen was like a fly on the wall. Although I'm like, what? Tierra was the one that was actually... Yeah, like Casey was getting creamed a lot. Yeah. And he...
Starting point is 00:40:19 What a bitch. Because he, the whole time was turning his head and not just taking it like... I know. Nobody took it like, nobody took the cream to the face like I wanted them to. Take it like a man. Take it like a man. And my pet peeve,
Starting point is 00:40:34 after these challenges, we then have to watch for like an hour as they have normal conversations covered in old cake. In muck. And I'm like, let that, that would make my skin crawl. Let them shower. Maybe it's like, you know, doing like a sugar scrub like exfoliant. Maybe it's kind of like that. I would be, I would just be thinking this sugar is getting into my skin.
Starting point is 00:40:58 Whatever they made with this cake, I'm going to break out from this. It's hot there. It's humid. I don't feel sexy with fucking. It's like when people use whipped cream during sex. I've seen people also like criticizing different people's hair in the cast. And it's like they've had slime and goo and frosting at them for three weeks. At all times.
Starting point is 00:41:20 And they're not to mention they're like on the beach. Like your hair wouldn't be looking fresh. Well, even on the Jetsky thing, Trinity was like, I don't think I'm even going to bother doing my makeup because it's just going to cake and fall off. Not only are they sitting around in their like covered in filth, but they also production must. have told them they had to keep the chef hats on for the whole night. Because they're going up for like chat after chat after chat wearing these dumb fuck ass little step hats. Why did they have to keep those on?
Starting point is 00:41:45 So. And then Carl's funny like, I'm taking this silly thing off. Yeah, okay. So Carl and Amora pop out of their cakes at the end. They have been voted back in. Which I knew exactly who was going to.
Starting point is 00:41:54 Yeah. It was because the thing is like, first of all, for the girls, there were only, what, two choices? Yeah, they were like,
Starting point is 00:41:59 we want Amora back. For the guys, there were a few more. Okay, The only thing is, like, I kind of wanted Corey to come back because he was, like, Melanie's option. And because we knew sincere's option, Amora was going to be back, I kind of wanted the, like, matchy, matchy. And also, to be honest, I don't know if Anaya deserves another shot at Carl after not picking him. I also, like, Carl pretending that he's going to take time with Anaya.
Starting point is 00:42:27 Baby, just give it up. Amora, what would you like for breakfast? This is one of those things where it's like the, if you're thinking strategically about the show at all, it's like there's two weeks left. Just couple up with an eye. So I'm like none of you, like obviously, unless you are Bryce and Trinity or maybe Zach and Kada, you don't stand a chance of winning. Who else could it possibly be? Exactly. And so like people wanted Carl to go back in partially, I think out of like sympathy for Anaya. Totally. But I think there was a little bit of just like... And sympathy for him.
Starting point is 00:43:03 Carl seems like a really nice guy. He's very handsome. Tall. Chiseled. I mean... Mature. A little almost too mature for this show, I think. Yeah, how do we get here?
Starting point is 00:43:14 He just like, he seems like a really stand-up man. He seems like the single dad in the season of Bachelorette. You know how every season of Bachelorette? They're like, well, I'm actually a single dad. My wife passed away. And it's... Right. It's not a single dad from divorce.
Starting point is 00:43:31 It's a single widow. Oh, yeah. And he's like, a young widower. And he gets dumped like fifth to last before the finale because they finally are like, imagine, imagine Carl being friends with sincere. It literally feels- Sincer should be friends with Carl. It literally feels like those videos of like a monkey hanging out with a lion where it's like,
Starting point is 00:43:56 these two animals shouldn't get a lot. Like, I don't think- Yeah, they're like, This horse baby was abandoned by its mother, so we put it in with a camel. This crocodile is not eating the bird. They're friends. Like, I just can't imagine. It's a symbiotic relationship.
Starting point is 00:44:09 I can't imagine Carl, like, giving a shit about these people. Like, Carl gives. You're too good for them. Carl would, like, mentor. He's like, he's like, he's like sincere speaking brother. He's like, epitomey. He's like the big brother, little brother program. He's his SAT tutor.
Starting point is 00:44:30 Because I'm like, Carl gives like 35 and Sincere gives 15. Yeah, and I know Carl must be like 26 or something, but... Which is crazy. Yeah, but so, right. So Carl is playing it cool with Anaya. Like a double date with Carl Anaya since you're in Melanie? I'm so happy to see you. But let's talk.
Starting point is 00:44:54 He, I mean, he was really, really empathetic in the moment when she wasn't picked. And she, I mean, she had the whole monologue about, he was like, well, nobody's still behind my door. And she's like, I picked you. You didn't pick me. There's a multiple where I'm like, is this going to be an Emmy award-winning season? Melanie's monologue yelling at her too was incredible. Mela. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:45:21 Melanie. But I, yeah, no, I, I like Carl a lot. And I, obviously, I think it, I guess. why he was voted back in. But when you think about like, I don't know, like, I just don't want him to be like Anaya's consolation prize. I feel like...
Starting point is 00:45:41 If he has no other option. No, but I do feel like it's good that they get to, and like maybe outside of here, they can keep things, you know. I think any hope of them, like, establishing a winning thing. I think Anaya needs to work on herself a little bit. Anaya has to work on a little self-
Starting point is 00:45:59 And Melanie. Which I understand. We all do. Yeah. I just, I did. I mean, I appreciated when, so after giving it a couple days to cool off, Casey pulls Anaya for a chat. And first of all, okay. If you're pulling someone for a chat because you have something to talk about that has gone down,
Starting point is 00:46:20 the person who does the pulling needs to start first. Begin the conversation. That was crazy. It was wild to watch him. Pull her for a chat. So what do you want to say? And he's like, so what do you want to say? And he's like, I think you could start. Fuck, I would have walked away.
Starting point is 00:46:34 No. I would have been like, you fucking pulled me over here. So they have this whole conversation. I mean, Casey is like a little apologetic, but not. You know what fucking pissed me off when they were walking away and he's like, now go get Carl. Like it's the end of some fucking office episode. Like they have worked it all out and they now are in equally great positions. First of all, I think Anaya has been quite.
Starting point is 00:46:58 quite generous to Tierra not hating her guts, which like, not that Tierra is... Deserves the hate, but like I am the type of person where I'm not going to hate them. Well, I'm not going to say I hate them, but I'm... I'm not going to pretend... I'm not going to pretend to befriend that person. Yeah, I'm like, I can't be like that. And so, you know... Anaya is bigger than I.
Starting point is 00:47:20 But he's like, one last hug and... No, fuck you. Yeah. Get out of here. Yeah. He sucks. He sucks. I'm excited for movie night.
Starting point is 00:47:29 I'm excited for movie night. It's going to be good. Because we, I feel like the biggest, the biggest time bomb at movie night is sincere and Melanie. Because we also, we got the chat between Amora and sincere when she pulls him right away. And he's like, could I come in a couple minutes? She's like, no, no, no. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:47:46 You know what else I think is going to be good? Gull, they're going to show the gall and Kenzie making out the night before to Jen. In the speakeasy. Oh, my God. Also, because Dylan's going to be pissed. And they said, would you be pissed if she did? And he was like, yeah. Yeah, I would be hurt.
Starting point is 00:48:01 But since you're calling him or a big dog after their chat, because he is fucking scared. He's, he. Oh, terrified. And also, big dog is such a way to be like, we're not ever kissing again. Because Melanie, as much as the light has gone out of her eyes, as much as she seems depleted, sometimes somebody who's on their last leg can be the most. dangerous. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:48:28 Because she has nothing left to lose. Oh, I love it. And so when she sees the movie night footage of sincere telling Amora at the recoupling, at the, you know, decision ceremony, if we had more time, it would have been you. She's either going to have a mental breakdown and start crying, or it's going to be, like, Kathy Bates at the end of misery. She better break those ankles. It's fucking credible.
Starting point is 00:48:52 Yeah. Huffle that bitch. Get the hammer. We'll hold his ass down. year the last week is coupled up with Amora on crutches. Wow. And Melanie's in a Fijian prison until the end of the season.
Starting point is 00:49:08 But I let her. I'm excited we're getting movie night. It was a murder but not a crime. How could you tell her that she was wrong? I mean we're like we're getting down to the the last you know gasp of this. I mean we have a couple more weeks. But I'm interested to see like after movie night
Starting point is 00:49:27 I'm expecting that to be big. What's the, what, what is, what's left? And we'll see. We will say. We'll find out. Happy, uh, freedom 250. Happy free. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:37 Congrats to America. Celebrate love, celebrate America by watching people be lust as fuck on, on Love Island. That's really the meaning of America. It's better than watching the news. It's a free country. Famously. Sort of.
Starting point is 00:49:51 Allegedly. Chris, where can people follow you? You find me at Fat Carrie Bradshaw with a pH. I'm at Dylan Hafer. Follow us at Bravo by Betches. Thanks so much for watching. And we will be back next Thursday with another episode. Are you one of those media strategy people clicking through slides, scrolling spreadsheets? Yes? Good. This is for you.
